- 24:46Speaker 3: And banal must up and.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Banal form.
- 24:58Speaker 7: Ban All right, ladies and gentlemen, we've pulled them off
- 25:04Speaker 7: the road here, Vishnu Vodka.
- 25:06Speaker 1: How are you, sir?
- 25:08Speaker 5: I'm good, I'm good. I'm really good.
- 25:11Speaker 1: But are you good? Where you headed? Right now? By
- 25:13Speaker 1: the way, I am acting in.
- 25:15Speaker 5: A phylical movie don't know the name, yes Margos, and
- 25:21Speaker 5: going to DC and I'm going to act in it.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And that fact, Oh that's so awesome, Vishnu.
- 25:28Speaker 7: I'm gonna embarrass you a little bit here, and I'm
- 25:30Speaker 7: gonna embarrass you by complimenting you because I consider you
- 25:35Speaker 7: somewhat of a superhero. And I'll tell you why for
- 25:38Speaker 7: all for for I'll tell you why for all US
- 25:42Speaker 7: Indian kids out there, how much you go out there
- 25:46Speaker 7: and represent our culture and how much you're asked to
- 25:51Speaker 7: almost stand up for it and to explain our culture
- 25:54Speaker 7: to people that, in a very harsh environment like comedy,
- 25:58Speaker 7: are always looking for us to make fun of it.
- 26:01Speaker 7: But I just wanted to stop really quickly and give
- 26:03Speaker 7: you flowers and thank you and saying, brother, thank you
- 26:07Speaker 7: so much for wrapping our culture the right way and
- 26:10Speaker 7: in what is a very very harsh environment like comedy,
- 26:13Speaker 7: where it's sometimes very difficult to determine the line between
- 26:17Speaker 7: is this a joke or is this personal?
- 26:19Speaker 1: And I just wanted to start with this question for you.
- 26:23Speaker 7: Do you ever think that way that, hey man, I'm
- 26:25Speaker 7: talking for a culture here, not just for myself.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Well, here's the thing, though, I always be in a
- 26:32Speaker 5: I know I'm going to be a stand up comedy.
- 26:34Speaker 5: I mean even Beopole, I knew that did a There
- 26:37Speaker 5: is a what do you call a career like this?
- 26:41Speaker 5: I was telling stories in India. I was I always
- 26:44Speaker 5: read stories. I was always curious. That was my life.
- 26:48Speaker 5: And then when I moved, my parents moved me from
- 26:51Speaker 5: my town. I was in my candy grade. I just
- 26:53Speaker 5: finished my tenth grade, and I mean, I just shot
- 26:57Speaker 5: my puberty. I'm trying to figure out those in India
- 26:59Speaker 5: Ja put me here and I don't know the language.
- 27:03Speaker 5: And then on top of it, I realized, like in
- 27:06Speaker 5: my head, growing up in India is like, well we
- 27:10Speaker 5: would appress for two one hundred years now that we
- 27:12Speaker 5: got our freedom, we we is you know, it's like
- 27:16Speaker 5: what seventy years And even though with all its spot
- 27:20Speaker 5: they're trying to do the right thing because for example,
- 27:23Speaker 5: Anian constitution is written by a lower cash person, doctor Baker.
- 27:28Speaker 5: That couldn't be couldn't have happened if majority of the
- 27:32Speaker 5: people that that is the right thing to do, right
- 27:34Speaker 5: And if you look at India right now, we have
- 27:37Speaker 5: very like good reservation disurblinedly good reservations for the lower
- 27:41Speaker 5: cash people because you know, to make up for the
- 27:45Speaker 5: for the the India chips that were done to them,
- 27:48Speaker 5: they are given preferences in a really good specialized schools
- 27:53Speaker 5: and specialized like I mean all the government jobs, they
- 27:56Speaker 5: are given preferences. So so in my head, I'm like, Okay,
- 28:02Speaker 5: we're a country that is a young country and culture
- 28:05Speaker 5: that has been up pressed for whatever the reason. But
- 28:08Speaker 5: it's not our part. We were the victims, and now
- 28:10Speaker 5: that we're free, we are sparing our wings, and we
- 28:13Speaker 5: are learning about the society, about the world, I mean,
- 28:17Speaker 5: basically whatever it is. We're educating ourselves. We're going around
- 28:20Speaker 5: the world and and we are only trying to do good.
- 28:24Speaker 5: We're not there trying to like e spead our religion.
- 28:27Speaker 5: We're not trying to there there to like spread our philosophy.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Were literally there just to do the work for them,
- 28:34Speaker 5: be their doctors, nurses, be there. I know, of course
- 28:40Speaker 5: help who want to do creator they can to do.
- 28:44Speaker 5: We're doing that. So I never spelt like I had
- 28:47Speaker 5: to feel ashamed for who I am. Wow, But when
- 28:51Speaker 5: I come to now, when I came to America, I
- 28:55Speaker 5: used to think question people are very liberal, and then
- 28:58Speaker 5: when I came here, I realized Western people are not
- 29:01Speaker 5: a liberal abe I thought they are. They're in fact
- 29:04Speaker 5: more bound by their religious dog mounts and that they're
- 29:08Speaker 5: willing to like actually make an effort to the world.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Like you know, if a dude in India is dogmatic
- 29:16Speaker 5: about his religion, his effort is maybe his house and
- 29:20Speaker 5: maybe the neighborhood. But a dude in White House is dogmatic.
- 29:26Speaker 5: That effect is entire word. And like when people are
- 29:31Speaker 5: sitting at deep uakes and unashamedly they're being dogmatic and
- 29:36Speaker 5: killing each other, and they turn around and look down
- 29:39Speaker 5: on me a victim. You know That's where I'm coming from. Bro,
- 29:45Speaker 5: I'm a comedian. It's not a joke like you know,
- 29:48Speaker 5: even for a comedy joke, for it to work, I
- 29:51Speaker 5: have to be honest. I have to be neutral. I'm
- 29:54Speaker 5: not taking aside here, not ego centric our people at
- 30:03Speaker 5: certain way because you know a lot of them got
- 30:05Speaker 5: riches recently and it's like the new money versus old money.
- 30:08Speaker 5: They don't know how to be ave because they they
- 30:12Speaker 5: before they were their ancestors are until recently, until they
- 30:16Speaker 5: emigrated to America. Like people say India is dirty, Why
- 30:20Speaker 5: is it dirty? Because people don't have time to clean
- 30:23Speaker 5: it up. They got to work nine to whatever, like
- 30:26Speaker 5: midnight to make a living, to survive. Right, It's like
- 30:31Speaker 5: every time they try to attack, you know, uh, you
- 30:35Speaker 5: know Africans are Indians, and I'm like, you're blaming the
- 30:39Speaker 5: victims the people they are poor because we are rich.
- 30:44Speaker 5: We are literally living off them like those they've made
- 30:47Speaker 5: or so they could dig up those the what do
- 30:50Speaker 5: you call the mind? Who's going to addict them? Unless
- 30:53Speaker 5: you make them old enough that they have to go
- 30:55Speaker 5: down the mines and take them out. You'll go fight
- 30:59Speaker 5: World War one, World too, and all the things and
- 31:01Speaker 5: throw all these cash crops. If you were made to
- 31:04Speaker 5: be poor and you have no other way to survive.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Unless you.
- 31:11Speaker 5: You you know, basically the only way you could survive.
- 31:14Speaker 5: You're doing the jobs which nobody else want to do,
- 31:17Speaker 5: and you turn around and make fun of them. No,
- 31:19Speaker 5: I'm not gonna let you do that. Yeah, I'm going
- 31:21Speaker 5: to make fun of you.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you're being so yeah standing ovation vishnu very well,
- 31:29Speaker 1: said sir very well.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Set sir uh well, you you know, you go book it.
- 31:35Speaker 5: But you're giving me all.
- 31:36Speaker 1: The That's right, brother, you deserve it. You deserve it.
- 31:41Speaker 7: I don't know if anybody's telling you this, but we
- 31:44Speaker 7: want you to know that people are computing what you
- 31:47Speaker 7: are doing on stage in a certain way. And it's
- 31:50Speaker 7: okay for you to go out there and be a
- 31:52Speaker 7: comedian and go be funny, which you do so well,
- 31:55Speaker 7: and you tell our stories so well. But I think
- 31:58Speaker 7: there's an element to Yeah, there's an element to what
- 32:01Speaker 7: you do. I don't think people sometimes stop and recognize,
- 32:04Speaker 7: which is you're you're you're like a superhero for our kids.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You really are.
- 32:08Speaker 7: You're you're paving the way for them to to improve
- 32:12Speaker 7: their life going forward.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Well, like I went to I Can hear leventh and
- 32:18Speaker 5: told the day right, I was trying to date girls,
- 32:20Speaker 5: and and then when I meet them, their family, the fans,
- 32:24Speaker 5: you know, the kind of things they say. I like, man,
- 32:28Speaker 5: you don't know this, like you because of what you
- 32:30Speaker 5: think about But and you don't even like beat about it,
- 32:34Speaker 5: like who you make it? Like, you know, when you
- 32:36Speaker 5: want to make a statement that somewhat you would take
- 32:39Speaker 5: time to at least like look up what you were
- 32:41Speaker 5: saying is right or wrong. You say like instantive things
- 32:46Speaker 5: to people. So but the thing is, at the same time,
- 32:49Speaker 5: you feel helpless because how many people am I going?
- 32:52Speaker 5: Who's teaching them their stuff about it? Why are they
- 32:55Speaker 5: doing it? And how many people you know?
- 33:00Speaker 1: You you Yeah, let's talk about this.
- 33:02Speaker 7: You've been on so many different stages out there in
- 33:04Speaker 7: front of so many different audiences, you know, whether it's
- 33:07Speaker 7: late night television to you know, I mean all kinds
- 33:10Speaker 7: of different stuff, right, which one was the most awkward
- 33:14Speaker 7: for you? Which one was the most difficult for you
- 33:17Speaker 7: in terms of existing in your own skin. Was there
- 33:20Speaker 7: a specific room that you're like, oh, man, this is
- 33:23Speaker 7: and you don't have to name it, perhaps by actual.
- 33:31Speaker 5: You get the vipe. Yeah you don't care. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:35Speaker 5: Like I reatten to get a podcast. I had the
- 33:39Speaker 5: guy that just I mean, the jokes's packing are just
- 33:42Speaker 5: like nineteen nineties, you know, jokes on Indians. So I
- 33:48Speaker 5: didn't don the spond. I was like, dude, like if
- 33:51Speaker 5: you would have been funny in nineteen.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Ninety yeah, yeah, but now we're past this.
- 33:55Speaker 5: Yeah, when his audience are like already in the in
- 33:59Speaker 5: his comments, there have rates comments about me. I wouldn't
- 34:03Speaker 5: like you know, you know, you get the vibe like
- 34:05Speaker 5: this this person is going to be like this, but
- 34:07Speaker 5: you don't care. I'm not comfortable in my skin. He's
- 34:10Speaker 5: not away. This is one of those things, bro, Like
- 34:12Speaker 5: I learned about my like, you know, just my experience,
- 34:16Speaker 5: Like I'm dark, there's nothing I can do about it.
- 34:20Speaker 5: I'm fat. Maybe I could go work out and lose
- 34:22Speaker 5: some people and you're like we'll go together. Yeah, but
- 34:27Speaker 5: I'm lazy, So yeah, I know that you know you're
- 34:30Speaker 5: not every time you meet me, and the first thing
- 34:33Speaker 5: you were going to focus on me being dark? Apparently
- 34:35Speaker 5: that's something bad, which I don't think it is, but
- 34:38Speaker 5: a lot of people try to think that being dark
- 34:41Speaker 5: is not good looking and they try to project that
- 34:45Speaker 5: on me. If I'm not good looking or I am
- 34:48Speaker 5: I'm not worthy, you know, if I get that feeling like,
- 34:52Speaker 5: there are two kinds of people. There are people who
- 34:54Speaker 5: would meet you and they'll be like, yo, what what
- 34:57Speaker 5: is my what is the pastive thing from this that
- 35:00Speaker 5: we could work together and make something.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Out of it?
- 35:03Speaker 5: And those people I worpe well with. Yeah, And then
- 35:05Speaker 5: there are people who are like, how do I feel
- 35:08Speaker 5: better than this person?
- 35:10Speaker 26: Yeah?
- 35:10Speaker 5: So that's wrong with them? So I can feel better,
- 35:13Speaker 5: and for them, I feel bad because if that's where
- 35:17Speaker 5: you're going, you're already losing. Yeah, you know, you're already insecure,
- 35:21Speaker 5: So why would I will? Like, you know, so if
- 35:24Speaker 5: I go with that, like that's like you know, I
- 35:27Speaker 5: guess you can say like you grow thick skin, Yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 5: I mean if you you know, Because like I'm doing comedy,
- 35:33Speaker 5: I did meet a lot of different characters, which I'm
- 35:37Speaker 5: very grateful for because I learned a lot, but you know,
- 35:40Speaker 5: at the same time, like I don't think I have
- 35:44Speaker 5: a room where I was like, oh my god, I
- 35:46Speaker 5: can't be here because I'm always comfortable in my in
- 35:49Speaker 5: my can. Yeah, what am I going to do?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Kill me?
- 35:53Speaker 7: Well, we're getting ready for your big show in Chicago
- 35:58Speaker 7: on the thirtieth of July. We can't wait to see
- 36:00Speaker 7: you there. It's happening at Zanies in downtown, So all
- 36:03Speaker 7: the South Asian Indian kids around that area please pull
- 36:07Speaker 7: up to this big show. It's going down. Go check
- 36:10Speaker 7: out Vision and he's awesome. I wanted to talk to
- 36:12Speaker 7: you a question or two here before we let you go.
- 36:14Speaker 7: I want to thank you so much for spending this
- 36:16Speaker 7: time with us. We have seen stand up grow and
- 36:21Speaker 7: you have done such an amazing job of being that
- 36:24Speaker 7: cultural ambassador here. But you are existing in an art
- 36:28Speaker 7: form that has truly been American in its existence, stand
- 36:32Speaker 7: up comedy. You're starting to see the rise of the
- 36:36Speaker 7: you know, quote unquote South Asian comedian.
- 36:40Speaker 1: The stand up the art form is progressing.
- 36:43Speaker 7: You're probably seeing it in your timeline where kids now
- 36:45Speaker 7: are speaking in different dialects back in India and they're
- 36:48Speaker 7: putting out amazing content. What is it that they're learning
- 36:52Speaker 7: that India is learning now about being around stand up
- 36:56Speaker 7: comedy that you're seeing from your advantage point, What is
- 37:00Speaker 7: it that it's catching up with, you know, speak on
- 37:03Speaker 7: this level?
- 37:03Speaker 5: Is it?
- 37:04Speaker 7: Is it now becoming free because the generation now is
- 37:07Speaker 7: open to talk about more looks give us, give me
- 37:09Speaker 7: your perspective on the growth of stand up comedy in
- 37:13Speaker 7: India and.
- 37:14Speaker 5: So bro stand up comedy at being everywhere from the
- 37:18Speaker 5: banning of the time. It's said that it surfaced first
- 37:22Speaker 5: in America in the modern times after yourself, like you
- 37:25Speaker 5: know oppressions that involved and slavery and all days. Is
- 37:29Speaker 5: because America said something I'm being constitution said something like,
- 37:34Speaker 5: you know, respect to speech, Like I might not like
- 37:37Speaker 5: what you're saying, but I respect the right that you
- 37:40Speaker 5: have to say it, and I'm not going to take
- 37:44Speaker 5: that away from you. And that is where a stand
- 37:47Speaker 5: up comedy comes from. Because if you look at it,
- 37:49Speaker 5: like if I come and tell you, dude, what you're
- 37:52Speaker 5: doing it wrong, You're going to be upset. You're like,
- 37:54Speaker 5: screw you. I don't want to talk to you anyway.
- 37:56Speaker 5: And I don't know because you have an ego and
- 37:58Speaker 5: you're like, I don't want to be I don't want
- 38:00Speaker 5: to engage with you. You hurt my feelings. But what
- 38:03Speaker 5: if I make a joke about a person or even
- 38:07Speaker 5: you doing certain things and we laugh about it. So
- 38:11Speaker 5: next time you do that, you're like, wait, okay, that's
- 38:15Speaker 5: kind of rare. I shouldn't do that. I shouldn't say that.
- 38:18Speaker 5: You know that kind of way thing can happen in
- 38:21Speaker 5: stand up comedy. And that came from that, that opportunity
- 38:25Speaker 5: that you have a respect and you have a right
- 38:28Speaker 5: to say what you want to say. You see what
- 38:30Speaker 5: I'm saying. And a lot of these countries, even in
- 38:33Speaker 5: India right now, we're not there yet because you're looking
- 38:37Speaker 5: at everything at it, like, you know, you can't go
- 38:40Speaker 5: into a into a theater in yls buy you can,
- 38:46Speaker 5: but if someone dies you are liable to it. But
- 38:50Speaker 5: other than that, you can. You have a right to
- 38:54Speaker 5: express what you're thinking in your in your you know
- 38:58Speaker 5: as you wish. And if someone hit you, they broke
- 39:02Speaker 5: a law. The lie is you cannot hit a person.
- 39:06Speaker 5: But the lie is never like I cannot say what
- 39:08Speaker 5: I want to say if you don't want to hear it,
- 39:10Speaker 5: don't hear it, don't repeat it, don't don't come to
- 39:13Speaker 5: the place where I'm performing it. So I have that right.
- 39:16Speaker 5: So that is a struggle you're seeing because the stand
- 39:19Speaker 5: up comedy is literally like you stand up and you
- 39:21Speaker 5: tell the truth and you make it funny. I'm and
- 39:24Speaker 5: if you look at like America, it really started from
- 39:27Speaker 5: Jewish population. They came from immense oppressions and you know
- 39:32Speaker 5: you in like a short period of time, they experienced
- 39:35Speaker 5: it very very brutal attack, which from that came comedy.
- 39:41Speaker 5: How do you like cope with that kind of trauma?
- 39:43Speaker 5: And then now you when you see Indians coming up,
- 39:46Speaker 5: this is the first generation. Maybe their parents were also educated.
- 39:50Speaker 5: Like if you think about it, like my parents, I
- 39:53Speaker 5: was lucky because my grandparents father value in education. But
- 39:59Speaker 5: most of the families my parent generation was not educated.
- 40:04Speaker 5: But my generation is literally the first generation in India
- 40:07Speaker 5: that has proper education where we are enlightened and of
- 40:12Speaker 5: course we're seeing what is happening and we realize we
- 40:15Speaker 5: got to speak up, and we all realize kind of
- 40:19Speaker 5: comedy is the best venue because not only are we
- 40:22Speaker 5: having a great time, we're also learning about each other.
- 40:26Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 40:26Speaker 5: I mean when I'm doing the reason I'm doing comedy,
- 40:28Speaker 5: I'm really enjoying. I really enjoy having having people around
- 40:32Speaker 5: me having fun. But at the same time, i also
- 40:35Speaker 5: want them to know where I'm coming from. Yeah, and
- 40:39Speaker 5: that's all I'm doing. I'm just telling you my story.
- 40:41Speaker 5: I'm not dude, I'm not you know, I don't know
- 40:43Speaker 5: what the reason like, you know. The thing is like
- 40:46Speaker 5: I think in this world, like whoever has control, they
- 40:49Speaker 5: have figured out different philocophies or ideas to divide us
- 40:53Speaker 5: beat religion. Are we like capitalism with the socialism, with
- 40:57Speaker 5: this communism? These are just just words if you think
- 41:01Speaker 5: about it, we are nobody wants to be at at
- 41:04Speaker 5: once end of the spectrum. Everybody wants to have a
- 41:07Speaker 5: comfortable life where I can I can believe in what
- 41:09Speaker 5: I want to do and live my life how I
- 41:11Speaker 5: want to do live, as long as it doesn't bother
- 41:14Speaker 5: somebody else. And it's not that hard to figure that out.
- 41:19Speaker 5: But the only reason we are all fighting in names
- 41:21Speaker 5: of every time there is an opportunity to talk, the
- 41:25Speaker 5: first conversation we are having is your religion is wrong.
- 41:28Speaker 5: My religion is wrong, My your philosophy is wrong, my
- 41:31Speaker 5: philosophy is right, Like why because that is what we
- 41:35Speaker 5: are all Like, we're all working too hard and we're
- 41:38Speaker 5: not thinking and and all the people that have brains
- 41:41Speaker 5: are focusing more on faith and chemistry instead of focusing
- 41:45Speaker 5: on philosophy and sociology. First we need to fit. Like
- 41:49Speaker 5: right now in people in Sudan are getting cares, like
- 41:52Speaker 5: women are getting raped as an as an act of war.
- 41:56Speaker 5: And right now you look at what you everybody knows
- 41:59Speaker 5: what is happen thanks to the social media, but like
- 42:02Speaker 5: nobody is covering like Sudan and other places because they're
- 42:06Speaker 5: not you know, they're even lower down the spectrum that
- 42:08Speaker 5: we haven't looked down there yet. But we're a women
- 42:11Speaker 5: right now being raped and murdered as I am speaking
- 42:15Speaker 5: to you because of what religion and philosophy and we
- 42:21Speaker 5: can't folve this problems. But we want to put a
- 42:23Speaker 5: we want to put a spaystation in the moon. What
- 42:26Speaker 5: is more important? You know, we we have food, we
- 42:30Speaker 5: are we have plenty of food. We are dumping tons
- 42:33Speaker 5: of food. But we have say, at the same time,
- 42:36Speaker 5: kids selling their bodies for food and we can't save them.
- 42:43Speaker 5: And and that is a society we are living living
- 42:46Speaker 5: in and I just want as many stand up comedians
- 42:49Speaker 5: to step the fuck up and talk about this ship
- 42:52Speaker 5: and make it funny. So dumb as people who are
- 42:55Speaker 5: always who just want entertainment, give them the fucking entertainment
- 42:59Speaker 5: and also give them some knowledge too that will wait
- 43:02Speaker 5: to fuck up vish.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Have you ever fed medicine to a dog?
- 43:10Speaker 5: Why am I talking like that?
- 43:14Speaker 1: You put the pill in like a little hot dog
- 43:18Speaker 1: and you give it to them.
- 43:20Speaker 5: You know that, okay?
- 43:21Speaker 1: And you know you you hide the vegetables as they say, right.
- 43:26Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, shut hard, Okay, I get it.
- 43:28Speaker 7: So and in this case, I feel that a lot
- 43:31Speaker 7: of your stage show is that you you are serving
- 43:34Speaker 7: up culture.
- 43:35Speaker 1: You're serving up education of our culture and our.
- 43:39Speaker 5: And I'm learning a lot too, Bro to tell me
- 43:42Speaker 5: the truth like I came for example, like as I
- 43:46Speaker 5: am like, hey, all Hindus are not like this. We
- 43:48Speaker 5: also know all Muslims are not like that. We also
- 43:52Speaker 5: are not like that. Yeah, and I also want to
- 43:54Speaker 5: speak for my people, like you know right now with
- 43:57Speaker 5: tolerance is the most important thing, like like if you
- 44:01Speaker 5: think about it, when COVID came, we're all on the
- 44:05Speaker 5: land fighting right, you know, like black lives matter, and
- 44:09Speaker 5: then some poor white people who couldn't afford to get
- 44:11Speaker 5: out of the land in their yards are like marching
- 44:15Speaker 5: down yelling out all lives matter, you know. But but
- 44:19Speaker 5: the point is, like we all all black people are
- 44:22Speaker 5: paying is like, dude, like our lives matter. They're not
- 44:26Speaker 5: saying because we say black lives matter, They're not.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 44:31Speaker 5: But like the reason you're misunderstanding is you you were
- 44:34Speaker 5: bred to feel that way. Every time they speak, you
- 44:37Speaker 5: have to respond, and and and and but at the
- 44:42Speaker 5: end of the day, you both have to work together.
- 44:45Speaker 5: And COVID came. The rich people they are out there
- 44:48Speaker 5: in their yards in the international waters where they have
- 44:51Speaker 5: no way to get COVID literally having Epstein Island parties,
- 44:57Speaker 5: and we are here fighting with each other. And then
- 45:01Speaker 5: when they all came back, the world is back to
- 45:04Speaker 5: the way it work. All the things we spoke about
- 45:07Speaker 5: during COVID time are God, yeah, it's true. I'm like, yeah,
- 45:13Speaker 5: And now look at that, like, you know, Jewish people
- 45:15Speaker 5: are fighting with Muslim Hindus are fighting with Muslims, and Christians.
- 45:19Speaker 5: We're all fighting when we should be like, yo, let's
- 45:22Speaker 5: just stop because majority of us who are like in
- 45:26Speaker 5: the mirror, who just want to live our lives the
- 45:29Speaker 5: way we you know, just be live and let live.
- 45:33Speaker 5: Need to speak the fu cup right.
- 45:36Speaker 7: We need to have like we need to have like
- 45:38Speaker 7: comedy shows instead of these wars. We need to have
- 45:41Speaker 7: like a you know, a stamping off.
- 45:46Speaker 5: And then like you know, right wing country that put
- 45:49Speaker 5: them in the same love and let that literally like
- 45:53Speaker 5: you put like the extreme like Iranian like you know
- 45:56Speaker 5: Atla and them, and then put like extreme like you know,
- 46:05Speaker 5: you know what hit it on.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Literally they don't even know it. You know, this is great.
- 46:12Speaker 5: The only thing they don't agree is they imagine that
- 46:15Speaker 5: you got it. That is the only brother and.
- 46:19Speaker 1: The name of it. That's it, brother, for sure.
- 46:22Speaker 5: Vision Ah Man, you're sitting there and we're playing like
- 46:26Speaker 5: they're the tails and they're wagging the dog.
- 46:28Speaker 1: We are the dog.
- 46:31Speaker 10: Vision.
- 46:31Speaker 1: This has been so much fun. Brother.
- 46:34Speaker 7: First of all, thank you so much for joining me today.
- 46:37Speaker 7: This has been such a funny conversation. But more than that,
- 46:40Speaker 7: even I just wanted to tell you, like I said before, man,
- 46:44Speaker 7: thank you for all the great work you're doing out there.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Brother.
- 46:47Speaker 7: I know that we've got some fans over here for
- 46:49Speaker 7: you that are supporting you and rooting you on with
- 46:51Speaker 7: everything that you're saying out there.
- 46:53Speaker 1: So thank you, thank you so much. Yea brother, you
- 47:00Speaker 1: know he's a looking on.
- 47:01Speaker 23: The melody and Lilizara aside. You know he said, you're
- 47:06Speaker 23: looking on the melody. I could then look a locke Ll.

- 50:32Speaker 28: Hi everyone, this is your Ukasavni Radio music courspondent back
- 50:36Speaker 28: with another artist, Spotlight. So let's talk about Anna Chaine,

- 51:05Speaker 28: the Heartfeld twenty twenty five single Enam, a reflective song
- 51:09Speaker 28: about gratitude and success, while also collaborating with artists like
- 51:13Speaker 28: ap Dylan on Apsos, expanding his sound beyond his signature

- 51:46Speaker 28: sincerity still have a powerful place.
- 51:49Speaker 1: In modern music.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Well that's all for me.
- 51:52Speaker 28: Stay tuned for more only on Rukas Avenue Radio.
- 51:55Speaker 7: Thank you, Doreta, thank you very much for that. You know,

- 52:05Speaker 7: He's been very transformative to the independent music industry in India.
- 52:10Speaker 7: This song right here is with a Dillon. It's called
- 52:13Speaker 7: a source.
- 52:15Speaker 31: Diri di rio data. Such a mask can you get
- 52:44Speaker 31: on my milayomb.

- 54:44Speaker 21: Carian Moro.
- 54:51Speaker 10: There are.
- 54:56Speaker 7: And Jane A b Delon. The song is called a
- 54:59Speaker 7: so big shout out to Vishnuvaka for joining us today
- 55:04Speaker 7: on the show and in my time of being in
- 55:08Speaker 7: this business. I'll tell you something I said out loud
- 55:11Speaker 7: on this show today because I meant it, called Vishnuvaka
- 55:16Speaker 7: a superhero. I gave him his flowers while he could
- 55:19Speaker 7: smell them, and after about twenty minutes in the room
- 55:22Speaker 7: with him today, I'm more sure than when I said it. Originally,
- 55:27Speaker 7: Vishnu came to America in the tenth grade, New Country,
- 55:31Speaker 7: New Language, hitting puberty in a place that had already
- 55:35Speaker 7: made up its mind about him, and instead of shrinking,
- 55:38Speaker 7: he built a career out of standing in the least
- 55:41Speaker 7: for giving rooms and entertainment and telling the truth about
- 55:44Speaker 7: us and where we come from, about why the stereotypes
- 55:48Speaker 7: people carry are lazy about what it means to be
- 55:52Speaker 7: from a young, free country still spreading its wings. He
- 55:55Speaker 7: does it night after night, in the cultural crossfire, where
- 56:00Speaker 7: a laughter can turn uncivilized in a second.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And here's the thing that struck me most. There's no
- 56:07Speaker 1: bitterness in him. He told me.
- 56:09Speaker 7: There are two kinds of people. The ones who meet
- 56:11Speaker 7: you looking for what's good in you, what you might
- 56:15Speaker 7: build together, and then they're the ones who meet you
- 56:18Speaker 7: looking for what's wrong with you, so they can feel
- 56:20Speaker 7: bigger than you.
- 56:22Speaker 10: He said.
- 56:22Speaker 7: He feels bad for the second kind, not angry bad,
- 56:26Speaker 7: because if that's how you enter a room, you've already
- 56:29Speaker 7: lost something. That's not a comedian talking. That's a philosopher
- 56:33Speaker 7: who happens to be hilarious. I told him his act
- 56:37Speaker 7: is like feeding medicine to a dog. The bill hidden
- 56:41Speaker 7: in the hot dog. The laughter is the delivery system,
- 56:46Speaker 7: The understanding is the medicine. And every South Asian kid
- 56:49Speaker 7: in the country has a slightly easier road tomorrow because
- 56:53Speaker 7: Vishnu walked the harder one.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Tonight. He's a Zany's in downtown Chicago, July thirtieth. Pull up,
- 57:01Speaker 1: please go support him. For all the Chicago folks.
- 57:05Speaker 7: You need to go support our main man Vishnuvaka there
- 57:09Speaker 7: on the thirtieth of July and bring somebody who needs
- 57:12Speaker 7: the medicine. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
- 57:19Speaker 32: Soda Mammy bah hi jama, get dinner Malanga hi jama.

- 58:36Speaker 3: my God.
