Javon Tracy Shatters Gopher Punt Return Record | Minnesota Golden Gophers Football News
Javon Tracy just rewrote Minnesota football history with a jaw-dropping performance: two punt return touchdowns—87 and 69 yards—in the season opener, the first Gopher to do it in eight years. The fifth-year receiver also hauled in five passes for 98 yards, including a 55-yarder that narrowly missed the end zone. His feat ties him with elite Big Ten names like Daequan Hardy, Kevonte Martin-Manley, Garcia Lane, and Earl Girard—all legends in their own right. This isn’t just a game—it’s a milestone.
