Coding Agents Pushed 13,000 Internal Screenshots to Public GitHub Repos
On 29 September 2026 the security firm Glow documented more than 13,000 internal images from over 300 organisations sitting in public GitHub repositories, uploaded by coding agents looking for a way to attach screenshots to a pull request. The exposed material includes customer billing records and features still waiting to ship. The exposure happened with zero exploits and zero CVEs: the agent acted under the developer's personal identity, outside the perimeter the company watched.
