- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey everybody, it's the almost Famous podcast. I'm Deanna and
- 0:10Speaker 2: I am here with my producer, Heather, and we've decided
- 0:13Speaker 2: to call this kind of famous as we recap for you.
- 0:17Speaker 2: The new Hulu dating show Love Overboard. It's hosted by
- 0:21Speaker 2: former bachelorette Gabby Wendy. I love this show. I was
- 0:27Speaker 2: hoping that it would be a big swing for me
- 0:29Speaker 2: coming into episode three, and it still is. Heather, did
- 0:32Speaker 2: all of these episodes keep your attention like the first two?
- 0:35Speaker 3: It sure did, And I think you know my favorite
- 0:38Speaker 3: thing about it's episode three, right where it happens where
- 0:42Speaker 3: we get some shipwreckers. That is a new fun element
- 0:47Speaker 3: that I really love and I can't wait for us
- 0:48Speaker 3: to dive into. But yeah, I'm also really liking I
- 0:53Speaker 3: thought I might be bored with it, but I kind
- 0:55Speaker 3: of love how formatted the show is and I'm just
- 0:58Speaker 3: I'm anticipating the plank scene, I'm anticipating happy hour. I
- 1:04Speaker 3: feel like with some of the other dating shows that
- 1:06Speaker 3: are out there, it's so unformatted and so like every
- 1:10Speaker 3: single episode is so different it can be hard to follow.
- 1:14Speaker 3: But I'll point out a couple of things in this
- 1:17Speaker 3: episode and things that I saw that are obvious ripoffs
- 1:20Speaker 3: from other dating shows that are currently out there. But
- 1:23Speaker 3: what about you are? Is it holding your attention? Are
- 1:25Speaker 3: you loving it?
- 1:26Speaker 2: I shared in our previous podcast episode that I felt
- 1:29Speaker 2: like the first episode was really chaotic. It was hitting
- 1:32Speaker 2: every beat, like, here's where we are, You're gonna live here,
- 1:34Speaker 2: You're gonna do this, now, clean the floors, now do
- 1:35Speaker 2: this now, everybody jump up, make cocktails. This is the
- 1:37Speaker 2: top side or the bottom siders. It felt very spliced
- 1:41Speaker 2: up and chaotic. But I actually am really loving now
- 1:45Speaker 2: the flow of the show and the way it's going
- 1:48Speaker 2: as well as I was unsure with the challenges and
- 1:52Speaker 2: then the plank ceremony how everything was going to incorporate.
- 1:55Speaker 2: But yeah, no, I like really love it. And for
- 1:59Speaker 2: a person like me, Heather, like I need to be
- 2:02Speaker 2: hooked right away or it's hard for me to get
- 2:04Speaker 2: into a show. And I'm all in, Like I'm all
- 2:07Speaker 2: about it. The casting is amazing, the show, the boat.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I want to go on. I want to like hang
- 2:11Speaker 2: out top side.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I know, of course top side only, though.
- 2:15Speaker 2: On top side only, I'm not cut out for like
- 2:18Speaker 2: washing floors and stuff. I feel like I'm not quite Bella,
- 2:21Speaker 2: but I'm not quite Andrew. I like flow somewhere in between.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm not above scrubbing a toilet, but I don't want
- 2:26Speaker 2: to scrub someone else's toilet.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And you definitely don't want to do it with a toothbrush.
- 2:32Speaker 3: We will have to talk about that scene as well.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Let's jump right in. Episode three opens with the cliffhanger
- 2:38Speaker 2: from episode two, where Sophia and Enna are on the
- 2:40Speaker 2: plank and Andrew has to make a decision. We know
- 2:44Speaker 2: what this looks like. Andrew chooses to send Sofia overboard
- 2:48Speaker 2: and an Andrew hug and everyone claps for him. Andrew
- 2:52Speaker 2: says he'd rather hold out for new girls to come
- 2:54Speaker 2: on the boat, but we flip to later on that night.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Kai is cut with shaw Day but tells Leela when
- 3:02Speaker 2: he gets a date he's taking her. Shade knows what's
- 3:05Speaker 2: going on. She's strategizing so that she can stay on
- 3:08Speaker 2: the top side. She doesn't particularly strike me as a
- 3:10Speaker 2: girl that belongs, you know, on the bottom side, But
- 3:13Speaker 2: I don't know, what do you think? She feels like
- 3:15Speaker 2: a lot of drama for me.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we obviously see so much of that play out
- 3:20Speaker 3: this episode. I feel like Shade isn't into anybody. I
- 3:26Speaker 3: think that she's really trying to stay on the top
- 3:30Speaker 3: side just for the purpose of staying up there, and
- 3:34Speaker 3: she's not really a fan of like sleeping in the
- 3:35Speaker 3: bunk beds, which who wouldn't. But I don't think she
- 3:39Speaker 3: really has interest in anyone on board, and her personality
- 3:45Speaker 3: goes kind of quick from here there to everywhere when
- 3:49Speaker 3: she's upset, which it looks like is kind of a
- 3:52Speaker 3: turn off to a lot of these guys and the
- 3:55Speaker 3: girls like so yeah, I really like shut A Like,
- 4:01Speaker 3: I think she could be fun and I want to
- 4:03Speaker 3: see her find a connection, but right now, I don't
- 4:05Speaker 3: feel like she's actually interested in anyone.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Listen. It doesn't look like a super genuine connection that
- 4:11Speaker 2: she has had up until this point. And I think
- 4:13Speaker 2: you're right in saying, like, listen, she's a top side
- 4:15Speaker 2: girl all the way, Like we can tell that she's
- 4:17Speaker 2: a top side girl, but she's also a boss. And
- 4:19Speaker 2: I just believe that when you go on reality television
- 4:22Speaker 2: in particular, people with that persona tend to be like
- 4:27Speaker 2: the drama unfortunately, and she is playing that part really well.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But you're right the other cast members who are, like
- 4:34Speaker 2: you know, falling in love, they're coupling up, they're there
- 4:37Speaker 2: for the good time. It rubs everybody the wrong way.
- 4:40Speaker 2: No one wants to bring No one wants to be
- 4:41Speaker 2: around a Debbie Downer.
- 4:43Speaker 3: No, and she I don't. I don't know. We'll get
- 4:45Speaker 3: into the scene with Delaney. I don't know if it's
- 4:48Speaker 3: this episode or the next one. But that seemed a
- 4:51Speaker 3: little bit like doing too much, like it was an
- 4:54Speaker 3: unnecessary kind of conversation to be having, and it just
- 4:57Speaker 3: seemed mean spirited. But what I was going to say
- 5:01Speaker 3: is two about this show. For as many cast members
- 5:05Speaker 3: as there are, they're not trying to focus too much
- 5:09Speaker 3: on everybody having a storyline every episode, which I think
- 5:13Speaker 3: is really good. We have our main storyline, which is
- 5:16Speaker 3: whoever's going to end up going to that Plank ceremony
- 5:19Speaker 3: at night, But some of the other ones, like maybe
- 5:22Speaker 3: the happy couples or the ones that are still getting
- 5:25Speaker 3: to know each other, we don't get too much screen
- 5:27Speaker 3: time with them, dependent on the episode, and I think
- 5:30Speaker 3: that that's making it easier to follow. Do you feel
- 5:33Speaker 3: the same.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Way I do. I do whatever. I mean. I just
- 5:37Speaker 2: love this show for so many reasons. But I do
- 5:38Speaker 2: feel like it has a very natural flow from a
- 5:41Speaker 2: viewership side, you know what I mean. We're getting little
- 5:44Speaker 2: bits of drama, We're getting little bits of love, or
- 5:46Speaker 2: getting a little bits of funny. I just feel like
- 5:49Speaker 2: the appeal all together is really attractive because we get
- 5:52Speaker 2: a little bit of everything. It's not you know, some
- 5:54Speaker 2: episodes of other reality shows are really heavy on drama
- 6:00Speaker 2: or chaos or some of the other things. And I
- 6:02Speaker 2: feel like each episode so far, right we're only in
- 6:05Speaker 2: episode three, each episode so far has done a really
- 6:07Speaker 2: good job of having little, even keel bits of small
- 6:11Speaker 2: things that are taking place on the boat, which keeps
- 6:13Speaker 2: me watching.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Honestly, I think it's due to the pacing. I think
- 6:16Speaker 3: that the show is fast paced, and that's because it
- 6:19Speaker 3: is formatted. It's like, we have to get to a
- 6:22Speaker 3: plank ceremony every single episode, you know what I mean.
- 6:25Speaker 3: So part of that means moving along the stuff earlier
- 6:29Speaker 3: in the day to give that plank scene. It's dramatic,
- 6:33Speaker 3: you know, breath of air, so it can like expand
- 6:35Speaker 3: a little bit. So I like it. I like the
- 6:38Speaker 3: pacing of this as well.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, let's move on because this is like right now.
- 6:44Speaker 2: You know, last time it was a different couple. This
- 6:47Speaker 2: is my new favorite couple. Okay, we've got Tim and Gia.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I'm all about it. I see the fireworks going on
- 6:53Speaker 2: between the two of them. Tim is going to continue
- 6:56Speaker 2: to shoot his shot with Gia. Gia asks Tim why
- 7:00Speaker 2: they would make good life partners. Tim asks Gia if
- 7:04Speaker 2: she's scared that he's a boy, which you know, I mean,
- 7:08Speaker 2: come on, Leela goes and tips off bow.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Wait a second, Dianna life partners. They've known each other
- 7:17Speaker 3: since yesterday. I just thought that that was such an
- 7:21Speaker 3: interesting Do you think we would make good life partners?
- 7:25Speaker 3: Does she even know his last name?
- 7:27Speaker 2: I mean, I can appreciate the heavy hitting questions here,
- 7:31Speaker 2: Heather to make sure we're all on the same page.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I can appreciate, you know, the goal, the end goal here. Yeah,
- 7:38Speaker 2: but I do also find it hilarious that like Tim
- 7:42Speaker 2: is like but please please please tell me that I'm
- 7:45Speaker 2: not a boy. Tell me that you don't think I am,
- 7:47Speaker 2: because I'm not. Oh used to be like yesterday, but
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm not today. You have changed me. I am a
- 7:52Speaker 2: changed man. I don't know. It is kind of funny
- 7:56Speaker 2: the way that they are all just like hopping, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 2: literally on board right away and filling the roles. But yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I mean part of me, like every time they're saying
- 8:05Speaker 2: things like that, I'm like, come on, girl, you barely
- 8:08Speaker 2: know this man in bachelor world, okay, but like love overboard.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Come on, girl, I know That's.
- 8:13Speaker 3: What I'm saying. It's like, are they is this? How
- 8:16Speaker 3: this can't be? How Like the younger generation talks on dates, right.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I actually think it is. I haven't been on a
- 8:23Speaker 2: lot of dates, you know what I mean. But I listen,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I did, freshly out of divorce Heather run through my
- 8:31Speaker 2: younger man face, uh huh. And it was a lot
- 8:35Speaker 2: of fun for a hot minute. But like the thirty
- 8:37Speaker 2: year olds, yeah, were like it was very It's where
- 8:41Speaker 2: I struggled. It was very superficial. It was very superficial.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Like all of the conversations were pretty lackluster. They were
- 8:49Speaker 2: not deep in any way, you know what I mean.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And I don't know if it's just because I have
- 8:53Speaker 2: gotten so much older, but yeah, I feel like it's
- 8:56Speaker 2: just the generation now.
- 8:57Speaker 3: But this doesn't seem superficial. This seems like too heavy.
- 9:02Speaker 3: This seems like the opposite of that. That's what I mean.
- 9:04Speaker 3: It's like this time she's asking about would they make
- 9:07Speaker 3: Good Life Partners member James episode two or whatever, being like,
- 9:12Speaker 3: are you an effective communicator? I just I can't think
- 9:17Speaker 3: of being on dates with people at their age and
- 9:21Speaker 3: those kinds of conversations happening organically. So I'm just wondering, people,
- 9:27Speaker 3: gen z Ers, if you're listening, do you actually talk
- 9:30Speaker 3: like this on dates? Because I'm I'm I'm confused, I'm cursed.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I don't even know how to handle it. Part of
- 9:39Speaker 2: me wants to just like overcompensate here and be like
- 9:42Speaker 2: it's reality TV, Heather, like they have to there, you know,
- 9:46Speaker 2: all of the things, and the other part of me
- 9:47Speaker 2: is like, no, no, no, no, that's what they're like nowadays.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That's what they're like.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I have to tell I just don't think. I just
- 9:54Speaker 3: don't think in my experience of being on set that
- 9:57Speaker 3: producers are going in there and telling them things to
- 10:01Speaker 3: say to sound smarter than they are. I just think
- 10:06Speaker 3: that this is how they're talking, and I'm genuinely confused.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Do you think we'd meet good Life Partners? I just
- 10:14Speaker 3: met you anyways. Anyways, you have to tell them about
- 10:17Speaker 3: this drama between Leela, Gia Bo, the whole thing.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Well, listen, just when you start to get like a
- 10:24Speaker 2: little overstimulated with the heaviness of it, we have someone
- 10:27Speaker 2: like Leela who comes in just to shake things up.
- 10:31Speaker 2: And listen, we have seen this from her from the
- 10:33Speaker 2: very first episode. Leela goes and tips off Bow to
- 10:36Speaker 2: what's going on, right, She tells him to be more
- 10:39Speaker 2: assertive with Gia, and she also tells Bo that Gia
- 10:42Speaker 2: is fifty to fifty on both guys. And listen, we
- 10:45Speaker 2: see Bo he does not like this. I mean, who would.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I wouldn't, but he is clearly like, oh yeah, no,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I'm not playing that game. We see him storm off
- 10:54Speaker 2: the side of the boat. He's done with this conversation.
- 10:56Speaker 2: He's like, I'm not that guy.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Do you think she had good intentions when she was
- 11:01Speaker 3: doing this or do you think that she just likes
- 11:04Speaker 3: to be in the mix.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I hate to say it, but I think she likes
- 11:09Speaker 2: to be in the mix. And I'm saying that just
- 11:11Speaker 2: based on what we have seen since the first episode.
- 11:14Speaker 2: She has done this a couple of times now where
- 11:16Speaker 2: she likes to put herself right in the middle, and
- 11:19Speaker 2: she likes everybody to know what game they're playing, you
- 11:21Speaker 2: know what I mean. It doesn't happen to her, but
- 11:23Speaker 2: she's doing it to other people. So I actually just
- 11:25Speaker 2: think she kind of likes it. She thinks she's in charge,
- 11:27Speaker 2: she likes control.
- 11:28Speaker 3: It doesn't happen to her yet. I think that when
- 11:32Speaker 3: we see this happen on shows, there's one person who's
- 11:36Speaker 3: mixing it up a little bit, and then they get
- 11:38Speaker 3: a taste of their own medicine, and I think that, Leila,
- 11:41Speaker 3: you might have it coming with how much of the
- 11:44Speaker 3: mixing you're doing on this boat.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Bomb bum Well, it doesn't stop there. Leela then goes
- 11:52Speaker 2: on to GS. She comes clean about everything that she
- 11:56Speaker 2: has just told bo. Okay, so we see that play out.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Don't know that part I could have done without. I
- 12:02Speaker 2: could have done without that part because Gia seems kind
- 12:06Speaker 2: of unbothered a little bit. And I don't know if
- 12:08Speaker 2: Leela was also just continuing to stir the pot there
- 12:10Speaker 2: or she just didn't want it to come back and
- 12:12Speaker 2: bite her in the ass, you know what I mean,
- 12:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:14Speaker 3: I think she genuinely likes Gia. I think, like I
- 12:18Speaker 3: think Leela likes to be liked and wants to like
- 12:22Speaker 3: have friends, and I think that as much as she
- 12:26Speaker 3: likes drama, I think she was trying to come from
- 12:28Speaker 3: a good place right with that situation because she I
- 12:30Speaker 3: think she likes Bo and she was probably like, Bo,
- 12:34Speaker 3: you gotta step it up. But I think she wasn't
- 12:36Speaker 3: expecting Bo to be like, Yo, I'm not into somebody
- 12:39Speaker 3: that kind of thinks they're fifty to fifty on me.
- 12:41Speaker 3: So it kind of backfired on her in that moment,
- 12:43Speaker 3: and that's when she had to go into overdrive and
- 12:45Speaker 3: be like, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not
- 12:47Speaker 3: what I meant, and she had to course correct. But
- 12:51Speaker 3: I think in that moment she was coming in a
- 12:54Speaker 3: good way versus what she did in the last set
- 12:58Speaker 3: of episodes between Bella and Lo. I think that that
- 13:02Speaker 3: was a little bit more on the mean spirited side. Yeah.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I honestly kind of love that Bo reacted that way though,
- 13:09Speaker 2: because I am like that, like, we're not We're not
- 13:12Speaker 2: in a place in our life where we're chasing people
- 13:14Speaker 2: and making them choose us and forcing them to want
- 13:17Speaker 2: to be with us. Naturally, given especially that situation. People
- 13:22Speaker 2: should want to be with you, So like I kind
- 13:24Speaker 2: of have nothing but respect for him, being like, yeah, no, no,
- 13:27Speaker 2: she's not in it. I'm like, I'm not going there.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It's not a fight to the death kind of thing.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Like they have spent some time together at this point,
- 13:34Speaker 2: she should be able to make a choice one way
- 13:36Speaker 2: or the other. So I kind of actually at that moment,
- 13:38Speaker 2: I had nothing but respect for bo in the way
- 13:40Speaker 2: that he handled that and the way he just kind
- 13:41Speaker 2: of walked away. He was like, I'm not going to
- 13:43Speaker 2: play the game. I don't know exactly. Next up, we
- 13:47Speaker 2: move on to Shade and Keif. This situation is very
- 13:51Speaker 2: interesting to me. I already told you that in our
- 13:53Speaker 2: previous podcast. But Keith asks Shade if she plans to
- 13:58Speaker 2: bring him up to the top again, and she says yes,
- 14:00Speaker 2: So we'll see how that one continues to play out.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I have all kinds of feels about the two of them.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I just don't see it. I just don't see it.
- 14:06Speaker 3: You're not the only one. I don't see it either.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I don't think that she's again shut is so gorgeous,
- 14:14Speaker 3: but I think that she's at this point of the
- 14:17Speaker 3: show just strategizing. I do not think she's interested in Keith.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I think she does like a probably a more subdued,
- 14:24Speaker 3: quiet guy. I could see that being her vibe, But
- 14:27Speaker 3: I don't think she's interested in him.
- 14:29Speaker 2: No, I believe that. I believe that she can run
- 14:33Speaker 2: circles around Keith, and that's why it's not going to work.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Like she needs like a grown ass man, like a boss,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you know, not to tell her what to do, but
- 14:43Speaker 2: just keep her in check just a little bit. And
- 14:44Speaker 2: I don't think Keith is our guy, so I'm not
- 14:46Speaker 2: I'm just not seeing it. But anyway, we move on
- 14:49Speaker 2: and Bo and Gia they have a tough talk in bed.
- 14:52Speaker 2: BO is upset that Gia didn't come in, she wasn't
- 14:56Speaker 2: clear about the situation, and she didn't talk to him
- 14:58Speaker 2: right away. So we're starting to see some of that
- 15:01Speaker 2: unravel as well.
- 15:03Speaker 3: What did you think, because I remember I said in
- 15:04Speaker 3: the last episode, like I thought I could see them
- 15:08Speaker 3: going the distance on this. I feel like Gia really
- 15:14Speaker 3: didn't like that she hurt his feelings. Like I thought
- 15:17Speaker 3: that what this conversation felt very sincere to me, like
- 15:21Speaker 3: that she was really still interested in him.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I'm with you. I too think it was really sincere.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I do believe. I do believe that they have genuine
- 15:33Speaker 2: affection and concern for each other. I do. I just
- 15:37Speaker 2: believe that it is stronger with Tim like I believe
- 15:40Speaker 2: with Bo. It is that friendship level. They have respect
- 15:44Speaker 2: for one another, there is some attraction, but I believe
- 15:46Speaker 2: with Tim there is like chemistry, you know, the difference
- 15:51Speaker 2: you can like someone and think, oh, maybe it'll change
- 15:53Speaker 2: over time. But I believe with Tim there is that
- 15:56Speaker 2: instant chemistry, whereas with Bo, they just they connect like
- 16:01Speaker 2: maybe their souls have a purpose together for whatever reason.
- 16:04Speaker 2: But I just don't see that that undeniable attraction between
- 16:08Speaker 2: the two of them. But yeah, I think she like
- 16:10Speaker 2: genuinely cares for him and why that's why she probably
- 16:12Speaker 2: feels really torn because I also think deep down she
- 16:16Speaker 2: knows the truth that she's probably leaning more towards him,
- 16:18Speaker 2: but she doesn't want to break it to Bow and
- 16:20Speaker 2: they haven't made it to the plank ceremony, yes, and
- 16:22Speaker 2: nobody knows who's going home, and she doesn't want to
- 16:24Speaker 2: leave the top side. But she also kind of likes
- 16:25Speaker 2: him and he's hot, so they stay the night together.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You know what, I mean, I believe there's all kinds
- 16:28Speaker 2: of things that this girl's got to consider at that
- 16:31Speaker 2: point in time.
- 16:32Speaker 3: I think this is a classic nice guy versus voice situation.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Thank you, I'm so glad you said that.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I think that Bo's the nice guy and he's calm,
- 16:43Speaker 3: cool and collected, but he's not and he's listen. He
- 16:47Speaker 3: set his intentions in the last episode. He sat her down.
- 16:51Speaker 3: He said, I'm into you. I'm only into you. I
- 16:53Speaker 3: don't want you to ever question that, like I'm being
- 16:56Speaker 3: straightforward with you. And Tim has kind of done the
- 17:00Speaker 3: same thing, but he's done it in I hate this
- 17:04Speaker 3: term because I don't think the kids use it anymore.
- 17:06Speaker 3: He does it in a little bit more of a
- 17:08Speaker 3: swaggy way than both does it, And I think being
- 17:13Speaker 3: open and honest about his boy ways makes it feel
- 17:19Speaker 3: endearing to her, like, oh, he's willing to change his
- 17:23Speaker 3: bad habits for me. And I still think of that,
- 17:29Speaker 3: maybe not as a red flag but a pink flag
- 17:31Speaker 3: a girl. And I think that Bow's the nice guy.
- 17:34Speaker 3: But anyways, what do I know. Let's see how this
- 17:36Speaker 3: plays out. We got our first challenge of the episode,
- 17:40Speaker 3: which is called diving for Dirt. There are tubes in
- 17:44Speaker 3: the ocean full of statements from the Top Side men
- 17:48Speaker 3: that can be either a truth or a lie, and
- 17:50Speaker 3: the Downside girls can challenge any of the Top Side
- 17:53Speaker 3: girls for their man essentially, and they have thirty seconds
- 17:57Speaker 3: to collect as many tubes as they can. Who Ever
- 18:00Speaker 3: gets the most wins. Now, I think it's really funny
- 18:03Speaker 3: with these challenges that it's up to them if they
- 18:06Speaker 3: want to participate or not. It's not everybody has to play,
- 18:11Speaker 3: which I think is really interesting. So Bella takes the
- 18:15Speaker 3: opportunity to challenge Enna for Andrew. She does not win.
- 18:20Speaker 3: An adult really smokes her in getting all of those tubes.
- 18:35Speaker 3: So Leela then challenges Shade for Kari. They both move
- 18:41Speaker 3: extremely slow getting into the water, which is kind of comical,
- 18:46Speaker 3: and they end up tying because they get the same
- 18:50Speaker 3: amount of these tubes. So then they have to answer
- 18:54Speaker 3: questions on what's the truth and what's a lie about Kari,
- 18:58Speaker 3: and Leela wins and gets to now come to the
- 19:02Speaker 3: Top Side.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I like died during this challenge either, like there was
- 19:05Speaker 2: a part of me on the inside. It was just
- 19:06Speaker 2: like crying that like the way that they I don't
- 19:10Speaker 2: know if they just didn't want to get their hair wet,
- 19:12Speaker 2: or if like their mom didn't toss them in the
- 19:14Speaker 2: pool at the YMCA when they were really young and
- 19:16Speaker 2: they didn't know how to swim. But like it was
- 19:18Speaker 2: painful to watch that, Like neither girl was like dying
- 19:22Speaker 2: to catch anything to put it in there, you know.
- 19:24Speaker 3: I was just like, oh, I think one hundred neither
- 19:27Speaker 3: of them wanted to get wet, And I think that
- 19:29Speaker 3: the water was cold, Like Leila's face looked like she
- 19:33Speaker 3: was freezing when she got into that water. So I
- 19:37Speaker 3: think it was a little bit of a mixture of both.
- 19:38Speaker 3: But it was very funny because I mean, clearly Shade
- 19:42Speaker 3: does not care for Kai, and so she's not like
- 19:45Speaker 3: putting in a whole lot of effort. Na was like,
- 19:48Speaker 3: absolutely not. She was not leaving the top side at
- 19:51Speaker 3: that moment. So that's the end of the challenge, which
- 19:55Speaker 3: means Leela's going to the top side and now Shade
- 19:58Speaker 3: has to go to the downside for the first time.
- 20:00Speaker 2: So this is where we start to see the unraveling, right,
- 20:03Speaker 2: this is where it all starts to go down. Shad
- 20:06Speaker 2: A is going to the downside and has unfinished business
- 20:10Speaker 2: with Bella. This kind of makes me laugh so hard.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Shade confronts Bella about the situation with Keif and Bella.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Both they denies it, you know what I mean. Bella's
- 20:22Speaker 2: confused and thinks that there is no way Shade likes
- 20:25Speaker 2: Keith this much. The confrontation brings down all of the vibes.
- 20:29Speaker 2: On the downside, Keith doesn't like that Shade's attitude is
- 20:32Speaker 2: showing up. Bella starts crying again. Shada says that Bella's
- 20:35Speaker 2: too dramatic. Shade leaves the table and says that she's
- 20:39Speaker 2: not going to film anymore like it, just like I don't.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Part of me wonders how much of this was just
- 20:45Speaker 2: construed or did this really play out like this, because
- 20:48Speaker 2: it didn't feel very fitting because as viewers, we see
- 20:52Speaker 2: it pretty early on. You and I were just saying
- 20:53Speaker 2: this at the top of the episode. I don't see
- 20:56Speaker 2: it between Shade and Keith on either side. I don't
- 20:58Speaker 2: see it from her and I don't see it from him.
- 21:01Speaker 2: But then you know, then there's this, like this made
- 21:04Speaker 2: up drama about Bella going after.
- 21:07Speaker 3: He I need everybody to back off my girl Bella.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I know she's just there for a good time.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Ella's there for a good time, and she literally has
- 21:18Speaker 3: four men to choose from, like everybody needs to chill out,
- 21:23Speaker 3: Like the girl is trying low has basically, for lack
- 21:28Speaker 3: of a better analogy, made David the fire hydrant and
- 21:32Speaker 3: she's the puppy, and she is like, that is mine.
- 21:35Speaker 3: I have peede all over him. You cannot have him,
- 21:38Speaker 3: So David's out of the mix for Bella. Then she
- 21:41Speaker 3: tries to talk to Keith and Shade is now jumping
- 21:45Speaker 3: on her when she's not even with him anymore.
- 21:47Speaker 2: We see it plain as day that the two of
- 21:49Speaker 2: them are not together. They're not vibing. There is absolutely
- 21:54Speaker 2: no chemistry between the two. But you know, sometimes girls
- 21:57Speaker 2: just like drama, you know what I mean. You always
- 21:59Speaker 2: you don't want it, but then you want what you
- 22:03Speaker 2: can't have and you don't want anybody else to have it.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Have you ever been in a relationship like that? I
- 22:06Speaker 2: know I have, early on in my twenties when I
- 22:09Speaker 2: was about these girls' age, I didn't want him, but
- 22:11Speaker 2: I didn't want anybody else to have him.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Absolutely not. I have not been in the situation. I'm
- 22:16Speaker 3: so sorry to say that. Shah Day, You're that bitch
- 22:22Speaker 3: like you're so cool and you're so pretty, like what like,
- 22:26Speaker 3: you do not need to be acting like this and
- 22:27Speaker 3: you don't need to go after Bella Like it just
- 22:30Speaker 3: felt like low hanging fruit and it's like, I'm upset
- 22:34Speaker 3: to be here and now I must pick on somebody.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And it was that was the vibe I was getting,
- 22:39Speaker 3: And I'm glad that they end up squashing it later
- 22:42Speaker 3: in the episode and she took accountability for it. It
- 22:45Speaker 3: sounds like she was very triggered by something that was
- 22:48Speaker 3: said in that conversation. But baby, you can't say somebody's
- 22:52Speaker 3: being dramatic and then actually get up in the same breath,
- 22:55Speaker 3: storm off and say I'm done filming, Cause that's like
- 22:58Speaker 3: the most dramatic.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it was a scene to be had, but
- 23:04Speaker 2: you know what, that's fine. We move on to happy
- 23:06Speaker 2: Hour Heather and Corry and Leela. We start to really
- 23:10Speaker 2: get to see the two of them. They like getting
- 23:12Speaker 2: to know each other. Then we've got g and Tim.
- 23:15Speaker 2: They talk about Tim's past relationship. He says he's ready
- 23:18Speaker 2: for something serious. He says he wants to take her
- 23:22Speaker 2: on a date. You know, all the perfect things that
- 23:23Speaker 2: we need to hear. And then it hits us. Okay,
- 23:27Speaker 2: A boat arrives with a woman on it, Delaney. Yes,
- 23:31Speaker 2: I love this too. I was not anticipating this, but
- 23:34Speaker 2: I love every ounce of this. To bring in the
- 23:37Speaker 2: new hot bodies, a shipwrecker, let's call her Delaney twenty six.
- 23:42Speaker 2: She's a model who's very low maintenance. She comes walking
- 23:46Speaker 2: in all what five foot nine of her gorgeous lips, hair,
- 23:51Speaker 2: the whole thing from the jump. Andrew is interested. Keith
- 23:56Speaker 2: is interested to meet her too, Lo says, Delaney is
- 24:00Speaker 2: up close and acquired taste. David doesn't love these jealous comments. Okay.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So then we start to see a little bit between
- 24:07Speaker 2: the two of them that's super.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Rude, and it was trying to be Joki Joki Joki.
- 24:13Speaker 3: That is low. You're better than that, Okay, I just
- 24:16Speaker 3: know you are. And it breathes of insecurity when Yes
- 24:21Speaker 3: and sees another woman. You have not conversed with this person,
- 24:25Speaker 3: you don't know her, she's been there for five seconds
- 24:27Speaker 3: and you're making a negative comment about her looks breathes insecurity.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Don't be that absolutely, it just literally like I don't
- 24:37Speaker 2: like that anyway, tearing another person apart anyway or the
- 24:39Speaker 2: other but it also just starts to show the cracks
- 24:42Speaker 2: between the two of them, you know what I mean.
- 24:44Speaker 2: They want to look like that top couple. No one
- 24:46Speaker 2: can break them.
- 24:47Speaker 3: What did I say? I said this in the last episode.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Anybody that is raved as the strongest couple that early
- 24:55Speaker 3: on is bound to have some major breakup or flaws.
- 25:01Speaker 3: And we do see something else later from David, which
- 25:03Speaker 3: we have to talk about.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I cannot wait. I cannot wait. There's so much, There's
- 25:06Speaker 2: so much, There's so much, all right, we don't stop there. Okay.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Another boat arrives with another shipwrecker man on it, Prisad.
- 25:13Speaker 2: He's twenty six. Also so hard that name before. I
- 25:18Speaker 2: have never heard that name either. Anyway, he's here for
- 25:21Speaker 2: the genuine reasons.
- 25:22Speaker 3: You know.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I love. That makes me so happy, and he wants
- 25:26Speaker 2: to meet his soulmate. He's twenty six. God knows he's
- 25:28Speaker 2: going to have at least six more. But we see Enna,
- 25:32Speaker 2: our girl Anna, who we love. She's super excited to
- 25:35Speaker 2: meet Prisad, like that's like for her. This is this
- 25:38Speaker 2: is moving on right.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Enna is thirty. I believe Margot. Can you double check?
- 25:43Speaker 3: Can you double check the face she made? I'm pretty
- 25:46Speaker 3: sure that Enna is thirty and so we get into
- 25:50Speaker 3: it later, but the other shipwreckers are She's thirty three.
- 25:53Speaker 3: So even though these shipwreckers that are coming in are
- 25:57Speaker 3: fairly young episode.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I mean, but but we're those people who are thirty
- 26:03Speaker 2: and over, we're seeing that on this show in particular,
- 26:06Speaker 2: they're really significantly older, you know what I mean than
- 26:10Speaker 2: some of the other castmates on this show.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah, especially the ones that you're talking to. Any Yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know Enna about the the
- 26:19Speaker 3: Prisad of it all.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It's fine, it's fine. We're gonna see more. Let's see
- 26:27Speaker 2: the newbies. Delaney and Prisad have to go to the
- 26:30Speaker 2: downside Shade and Bella clear the air. They hug it out.
- 26:33Speaker 2: They're best friends again, which is great to see, and
- 26:36Speaker 2: Bella says in an interview that she still doesn't trust
- 26:39Speaker 2: shaw Dai girl. You should not, you should not.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Bella is my queen. I mean, honestly, she is the
- 26:48Speaker 3: reason I'm watching, and she gives me amaya papayah. From
- 26:54Speaker 3: this last season of Love Island was kind of like
- 26:59Speaker 3: getting jerked around by different guys, and was also constantly
- 27:02Speaker 3: crying on the end of the show and we were
- 27:05Speaker 3: all so many of us were so invested in her
- 27:08Speaker 3: love story. And that is how I'm feeling about Bella
- 27:11Speaker 3: because Amaya Papaya kept getting dumped and like kept being
- 27:14Speaker 3: the single one in the villa and all she wanted
- 27:17Speaker 3: was to be loved. And finally this guy came in
- 27:20Speaker 3: towards the end, they coupled up, they ended up winning
- 27:23Speaker 3: the season. And this is what I'm rooting for for
- 27:26Speaker 3: my Bella. I'm rooting for a guy to come in
- 27:30Speaker 3: and at the very end, she makes it to the
- 27:32Speaker 3: top side and she wins this thing. I'm actually like,
- 27:35Speaker 3: she is the one now that I'm holding out for this.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I'm here for it. You Know what I'm also really
- 27:40Speaker 2: loving about this show is that when we were introduced
- 27:43Speaker 2: to all of these people on the first episode, my
- 27:48Speaker 2: favorites have changed. And I love that about television if
- 27:51Speaker 2: it keeps us on our toes like that. And I
- 27:53Speaker 2: really loved in A. You know, when we recorded our
- 27:55Speaker 2: first podcast, I was like, she is gold, Like she's everything.
- 27:58Speaker 2: She's everything. But the I'm with you, the more we
- 28:01Speaker 2: see Bella and her personality, She's so funny and just
- 28:05Speaker 2: the way she turns it on and turns it off
- 28:06Speaker 2: like I'm here for her. I do. I'm with you,
- 28:08Speaker 2: And in the end, whatever it looks like, I'd love
- 28:11Speaker 2: for her to ride off into the sunset with her
- 28:13Speaker 2: night and shining armor and her fairy tale ending at
- 28:16Speaker 2: least for like ten days or something like that.
- 28:18Speaker 3: She's so funny. I just Bella, I love you. You're
- 28:22Speaker 3: my favorite right now.
- 28:23Speaker 2: For sure we're gonna become best friends. I'm gonna hang
- 28:26Speaker 2: up here and then find her on Instagram and I'm
- 28:29Speaker 2: gonna message her, and I'm gonna tell her that, like
- 28:31Speaker 2: I just I have a spare room, she can come
- 28:32Speaker 2: and hang out me and my kids, you know what
- 28:34Speaker 2: I mean. Just make it real weird, all right? Uh?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Tim is rewarded by Gabby. He gets to go on
- 28:41Speaker 2: a date with a top side woman of his choice.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So then we go into the next day. Tim comes
- 28:47Speaker 2: in all looking handsome, and he interrupts breakfast to invite
- 28:51Speaker 2: Gia to go on a date. All right, g and
- 28:54Speaker 2: Tim they go to a vineyard and stomp on grapes
- 28:57Speaker 2: with their feet. Super cute, super romantic, feels very lovey.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Have you ever done that? I've never I liked to
- 29:04Speaker 2: drink wine way too much. I wasn't trying to like
- 29:06Speaker 2: put my feet in it. I was just like, now,
- 29:07Speaker 2: sing it down my throat. I live a whole new
- 29:09Speaker 2: life now, Heather. Yes, I never done that.
- 29:13Speaker 3: But it was so weird. I mean, I can get
- 29:16Speaker 3: the stomping the grapes thing, but when they started to
- 29:19Speaker 3: put the grapes on his chest, and that's where I
- 29:22Speaker 3: checked out, squish them. And then he put them in
- 29:26Speaker 3: her boobs and was easy grapes out of her boobs,
- 29:29Speaker 3: but then goes in for the kiss and she's like, no,
- 29:31Speaker 3: this is where I draw the line.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I was like, baby, he doesn't just put them in
- 29:36Speaker 2: between her boobs. He like takes them. It is a
- 29:39Speaker 2: very sexual moment. It's a very he like takes them
- 29:42Speaker 2: and like rubs them down, like the crevas in between
- 29:45Speaker 2: her breasts and like rubs them down.
- 29:47Speaker 3: What I'm saying, Gia, Gia, you were shooting a little
- 29:52Speaker 3: mini porno just now. And it's like, oh, kiss me,
- 29:55Speaker 3: absolutely not. This is where I draw the line.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I draw the line, feel me up, rub me down,
- 30:00Speaker 2: but like you may not put your tongue in my mouth.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Absolutely not, sir. I listen. I was with you, Heather,
- 30:06Speaker 2: because also given that moment, we are seeing the passion
- 30:09Speaker 2: between the two, I kind of wanted to see them
- 30:11Speaker 2: like stick their tongues in each other's mouths and see
- 30:13Speaker 2: if it was there, because I feel it as a viewer.
- 30:16Speaker 2: But you know, that's fine. I'll just keep waiting for
- 30:18Speaker 2: the love story.
- 30:20Speaker 3: I just thought it was so weird, and it was
- 30:23Speaker 3: like it was like she was doing it out of
- 30:25Speaker 3: respect for Bo, not kissing him. So then I'm like, Okay,
- 30:30Speaker 3: I'm right, she's really into Bow. She's really into Bo. Guys,
- 30:34Speaker 3: she's not.
- 30:35Speaker 2: She's not okay, but if all right, let's play Devil's
- 30:39Speaker 2: advocate advocate for a second. I don't think she's really
- 30:42Speaker 2: into Bow, but I believe out of respect for him
- 30:45Speaker 2: and probably the conversations that they have had that we
- 30:48Speaker 2: have not seen, she is not going to do him
- 30:50Speaker 2: dirty like that, Like I can appreciate.
- 30:51Speaker 3: That she's not going to do him dirty. She just
- 30:53Speaker 3: had this guy licking up her chest, Like what are
- 30:57Speaker 3: we talking about?
- 30:58Speaker 2: I'm too nice, Heather, I'm just too We just went.
- 31:01Speaker 3: From rated R to like a G rating He's like,
- 31:06Speaker 3: I just it felt so strange. I was just like
- 31:10Speaker 3: I hope Tim doesn't have like blue balls right now
- 31:13Speaker 3: in this situation or whatever is happening, because that was
- 31:16Speaker 3: just like some major whiplash.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Some of the dates are truly very interesting where we
- 31:21Speaker 2: look at them and they would be like normal, and
- 31:24Speaker 2: then they just immediately get off the boat go on
- 31:26Speaker 2: a date and they turn into these like R rated
- 31:29Speaker 2: scenes in this television show that I'm like, Wow, how
- 31:32Speaker 2: did they go from point A to point B so quickly?
- 31:36Speaker 2: You know, I'm not really following sometimes on some of
- 31:38Speaker 2: the dates, but I don't need over sexualized things to
- 31:41Speaker 2: begin with, so it's fine. We see Bo on the yacht.
- 31:46Speaker 2: He's super stressed about Gea. On the date. He says
- 31:49Speaker 2: if they left the show now, he'd pursue a relationship
- 31:53Speaker 2: with her. So we're seeing that he's really into her,
- 31:55Speaker 2: that he really really likes her, and it was whatever.
- 32:00Speaker 2: It really interesting because I don't see that coming from her.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I believe that they have a connection, but I don't
- 32:05Speaker 2: see that coming from her. I don't believe that it
- 32:06Speaker 2: is reciprocated. But it's fine. Thereby we're back to Tim
- 32:11Speaker 2: and Gia. He says he's full on lover boy in
- 32:13Speaker 2: a relationship he's thirty years old and ready to retire
- 32:17Speaker 2: his boy ways. You know, all the things that every
- 32:20Speaker 2: girl wants to hear. She's changed him.
- 32:23Speaker 3: The things that every boy says. Gia just letting you know.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Come on, she's hook line and sinker. She's fallen for it.
- 32:30Speaker 2: She's stressing out about her plank ceremony like it's all
- 32:33Speaker 2: about to go down. So this, for me, was the
- 32:39Speaker 2: most anticipated point of the episode, was the plank ceremony,
- 32:42Speaker 2: because I feel like, in a matter of moments, it's
- 32:44Speaker 2: all about to play out, and I really need this
- 32:47Speaker 2: for myself, just me, Heather. I need to see it
- 32:49Speaker 2: all play out because I believe she's destined to be
- 32:51Speaker 2: with Tim. I believe there's a connection between her and Bow,
- 32:54Speaker 2: but I don't see the chemistry like her and Tim have.
- 32:56Speaker 2: So it's fine. Gia is sad. She's going to be
- 32:59Speaker 2: hurting someone feelings. It's clearly, you know, putting her through torture.
- 33:03Speaker 2: She wants to hear what both men have to say
- 33:05Speaker 2: on the plank. She gets super emotional over her decision.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Tim and Bow walk the plank. This is the moment
- 33:13Speaker 2: that I've been waiting for. Tim pleads to stay. He says,
- 33:17Speaker 2: all the best moments he's had on board that he's
- 33:20Speaker 2: been having with Gia. He's taking a risk for her.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Bo says, when he saw Gia everything became real. He's
- 33:27Speaker 2: only had eyes for her. He would never ever lie
- 33:30Speaker 2: to her. Then the big shaker, were you devastated? Giasen's
- 33:34Speaker 2: bow is actually shook. And I make these shows for
- 33:39Speaker 2: a living. I should have seen this coming from a
- 33:41Speaker 2: mile away, but I thought, there's no way she is
- 33:45Speaker 2: going to send Bo overboard. She hasn't even kissed Tim.
- 33:49Speaker 2: But then I thought about it later and I thought,
- 33:52Speaker 2: has she even kissed Bo?
- 33:54Speaker 3: I feel like they have.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I feel like they have, But now that you say that,
- 33:58Speaker 2: but we see them really cozy in the bedroom on
- 34:01Speaker 2: the top side, like they are definitely canoodling and stuff.
- 34:04Speaker 2: I remember those moments where they're like definitely on top
- 34:08Speaker 2: of each other and like, you know, feeling each other.
- 34:12Speaker 2: But yeah, now that you say that, I'm not sure
- 34:14Speaker 2: I've seen a real kiss whatever Heather, I was not shook.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I thought the whole time she was choosing Tim. And again,
- 34:19Speaker 2: I just don't know if it was because I saw
- 34:21Speaker 2: some physical chemistry that I did not see with Bo.
- 34:24Speaker 2: But I was sad for our boy Bo.
- 34:27Speaker 3: I mean, they had this whole plan about getting to
- 34:30Speaker 3: the top side together, they had a mission, they made
- 34:34Speaker 3: it happen, and then it's just guys. Tale is oldest
- 34:39Speaker 3: time nice guy versus boy. She chose the boy, and
- 34:44Speaker 3: I really hope this doesn't come to bite her in
- 34:46Speaker 3: the as later.
- 34:47Speaker 2: You know what it is. It's the safe against like
- 34:50Speaker 2: the fun like it just it always wins. Bo was
- 34:54Speaker 2: a safe bet. I think she I think she liked him,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but he was a safe bet for her. Tim was
- 34:58Speaker 2: the iffy one and that's where she went. But I mean,
- 35:01Speaker 2: she's clearly torn up over it. She cries, Tim promises
- 35:05Speaker 2: he won't hurt her. You know, we get that whole
- 35:07Speaker 2: like just that whole thing. I expect nothing less from
- 35:10Speaker 2: Tim to promise her that he won't hurt her. I
- 35:13Speaker 2: expect nothing.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Less until somebody new shows up.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Gia.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I just watch out, Gia, you.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Said it not me. Episode four. I am like full on,
- 35:33Speaker 2: like just obsessed with this show. I could not get enough.
- 35:36Speaker 2: I told you I binged all four episodes in like
- 35:39Speaker 2: my first sitting. So Episode four starts with Tim being
- 35:43Speaker 2: happy to be back on the top side. I bet
- 35:45Speaker 2: he is happy. Bro's about to live his best life.
- 35:47Speaker 3: At this point, though, we've only had two people at
- 35:51Speaker 3: this point, right, who have not been to the downside,
- 35:53Speaker 3: and that's David and Low. Yes, right, they're the only
- 35:58Speaker 3: ones who have maintained being on the top side this
- 36:01Speaker 3: whole time. Well, we're going to get to it later
- 36:04Speaker 3: this episode that Enna goes down to the downside. But
- 36:08Speaker 3: they're the only ones after episode four who have stayed
- 36:12Speaker 3: there the whole time.
- 36:13Speaker 2: But we're still seeing Dave, We're still seeing David and
- 36:16Speaker 2: Low that they're really cozy up there. It's not really
- 36:19Speaker 2: shaking up yet, Like they're really really cozy. They're very
- 36:22Speaker 2: happy together.
- 36:23Speaker 3: I think one's cozier than the other, and I think
- 36:25Speaker 3: one's happier than the other.
- 36:27Speaker 2: I think you are right. You are seeing things very clearly, Heather.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I am with you.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Delaney and Keith they're talking now. We found we find
- 36:36Speaker 2: out that Keith doesn't drink. I kind of saw this
- 36:39Speaker 2: as a person who doesn't drink. I saw it from
- 36:41Speaker 2: episode one, like he never has a cocktail, he's never
- 36:43Speaker 2: at ten. And I thought for myself, you know, as
- 36:47Speaker 2: I'm like plotting in my own head, how I'm going
- 36:49Speaker 2: to get on love overboard. I thought, how is this
- 36:52Speaker 2: guy keeping up? You know what I mean? Like hanging
- 36:55Speaker 2: out with all of these people not drinking alcohol. He's
- 36:59Speaker 2: not into them. When the stuff gets like, you know,
- 37:02Speaker 2: all shaky, he kind of sees himself out of the drama.
- 37:05Speaker 2: But anyway, he's a cop. He's a cop. I'm so
- 37:10Speaker 2: surprised that he shared that with everybody. I don't know.
- 37:14Speaker 2: He's looking for someone with similar morals and beliefs to him,
- 37:19Speaker 2: which is very interesting given his situation. I find it
- 37:22Speaker 2: fascinating for a man who does not drink, he's a
- 37:26Speaker 2: police officer to go and live on a yacht for
- 37:29Speaker 2: the summer and date on reality television, Like what did
- 37:34Speaker 2: his leave of absence look like? Heather.
- 37:36Speaker 3: It's not typical to get cops on reality TV, that's
- 37:42Speaker 3: for sure. I will say. I think I've gotten a
- 37:44Speaker 3: couple of firefighters, a couple of EMTs on shows dating
- 37:50Speaker 3: shows specifically, I've called firehouses and shared casting information, and
- 37:56Speaker 3: they're pretty gung ho. Usually at the fire department they
- 37:59Speaker 3: like that stuff. Cops, that's a different situation. It makes
- 38:04Speaker 3: me wonder what kind of cop he is. We don't
- 38:08Speaker 3: really get into that too much. It makes me wonder, yes,
- 38:12Speaker 3: if he was maybe he's an active cop, but was
- 38:15Speaker 3: you know, taking a leave of absence to try and
- 38:17Speaker 3: figure some things out in his life and this opportunity came.
- 38:21Speaker 2: About because how does he go back?
- 38:23Speaker 3: Well, you have to ask permission too from your job
- 38:26Speaker 3: to take off for a show, and usually they want
- 38:30Speaker 3: to know what it is, and you know, with the
- 38:33Speaker 3: police department, I'm sure they would be critical in wanting
- 38:39Speaker 3: to know, you know, the name of the show, the
- 38:42Speaker 3: vibe and all that kind of stuff, and being very
- 38:45Speaker 3: adam it probably about him never saying exactly where he's
- 38:48Speaker 3: a cop at he came across pretty stoic to me.
- 38:53Speaker 3: For a cop, I would have thought cops are a
- 38:55Speaker 3: little bit more gregarious and just like kind of macho.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I don't know, that's like a really terrible.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I actually disagree, Heather. I have a lot of friends
- 39:08Speaker 2: who are married to cops, and not that they can't
- 39:11Speaker 2: be that, but I actually find them to be a
- 39:13Speaker 2: little bit more reserved, introverted, stoic, especially in group scenarios
- 39:19Speaker 2: like that, Especially in group scenarios like that, And I
- 39:22Speaker 2: don't know if that's just part of their persona or
- 39:25Speaker 2: you know, protecting their career in a way or given
- 39:28Speaker 2: the day and time that we live in currently, you
- 39:31Speaker 2: know what I mean. But yeah, I actually I actually
- 39:34Speaker 2: found it very very fitting. His personality matched for me.
- 39:39Speaker 3: We have some interesting careers on this ship to you know,
- 39:43Speaker 3: besides the model influencer, we also have David. We didn't
- 39:47Speaker 3: talk about his career. He works with children that have
- 39:50Speaker 3: mental health issues.
- 39:53Speaker 2: I also found that very fascinating. My children are in therapy,
- 39:57Speaker 2: and if I happen to pop on love oh and
- 40:01Speaker 2: saw my daughter's therapist fighting for love in this situation,
- 40:06Speaker 2: I would be like, huh, I'm questioning all my life
- 40:08Speaker 2: choices and where my paychecks are going.
- 40:10Speaker 3: But didn't you also think it was interesting that in
- 40:12Speaker 3: the same breath where he was like, yeah, I work
- 40:14Speaker 3: with children that have mental health issues, and then I
- 40:18Speaker 3: like to party at night.
- 40:19Speaker 2: And I like girls with big fake boobs. Yeah yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 2: I absolutely was like, huh, I'm thinking twice about this.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I mean, we are all multifaceted human beings. And if David,
- 40:31Speaker 3: like has this incredibly rewarding career and that's how he
- 40:34Speaker 3: blows off steam at the end of the day, that's great.
- 40:37Speaker 3: But it was very fascinating to have a cop a
- 40:40Speaker 3: mental health specialist amongst you know, models and influencers, and
- 40:46Speaker 3: pretty surprised. We don't have any professional athletes or former
- 40:50Speaker 3: professional athletes on the boat, but maybe that's coming. That's
- 40:54Speaker 3: usually another job that we tend to see in the
- 40:56Speaker 3: dating show realm.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, those who are literally in between jobs. It's fine,
- 41:04Speaker 2: everything is fine. Keith is going to write off into
- 41:07Speaker 2: the sunset. He's just a doll, my sweet little reserved man.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Shod A is irritated by the whole situation. I don't
- 41:14Speaker 2: know if you recognize that she is irritated by Keith
- 41:17Speaker 2: and Delaney talking. She thinks that Keith should show her
- 41:21Speaker 2: a little respect. And we know our girl Shade, she's
- 41:23Speaker 2: a little bit demanding when it comes to all of
- 41:25Speaker 2: these things. But Tim and Gea they have their first kiss.
- 41:30Speaker 2: It finally happens for the two of them. I'm like,
- 41:33Speaker 2: all about it, awkward.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I couldn't stop looking at how sweaty Tim was.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I don't know, I didn't I didn't mind it.
- 41:47Speaker 3: I didn't mind it. And I couldn't stop looking at
- 41:50Speaker 3: how flippy his hair was on the ends. Like it's
- 41:53Speaker 3: a very interesting haircut that the young men are all
- 41:56Speaker 3: rocking these days. It's, you know, it's tight, and then
- 41:59Speaker 3: it's it's kind of mulledy, it's kind of not and
- 42:02Speaker 3: I was just like noticing, like all the flippy ends
- 42:06Speaker 3: and the sweatiness, and I was like, I don't know,
- 42:10Speaker 3: I don't know about this.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Oh, I'm all about it. I'm all in. I'm invested
- 42:16Speaker 2: in their relationship. I'm invested in their connection. I'm all
- 42:20Speaker 2: about it, Heather.
- 42:21Speaker 3: I don't see it. I'm rooting for Bella, the one
- 42:26Speaker 3: I'm rooting for.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I'm just gonna stick to your girl. That's so funny
- 42:29Speaker 2: to Bella.
- 42:29Speaker 3: I think I gotta believe that that girl finds something.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Well. I hope so, because I need more of her.
- 42:36Speaker 2: I'm not ready for her to go home. And if
- 42:37Speaker 2: there is a plank ceremony and she has to jump,
- 42:39Speaker 2: I'm not ready for it. I might I might have
- 42:41Speaker 2: to quit. I will not be Okay, that can't happen.
- 42:44Speaker 2: It's fine. The drama doesn't start there. We see Shade.
- 42:48Speaker 2: She confronts Keith. She wants to know if they still
- 42:51Speaker 2: have a connection, and he says that they can be friends,
- 42:53Speaker 2: which catches her completely off guard. I expect nothing less
- 42:58Speaker 2: from Shade. She is going to be thrown off by
- 43:00Speaker 2: this because I think she's just trying to find, you know,
- 43:03Speaker 2: her place, and there really isn't one for her at
- 43:06Speaker 2: this moment, which I believe is where a lot of
- 43:08Speaker 2: the drama comes from. But it's fine Low. Low is
- 43:12Speaker 2: in it to win it. She's already dreaming of a
- 43:14Speaker 2: life off the boat with David and Tim and Gia.
- 43:19Speaker 2: They go to bed for the first time. Tim isn't
- 43:22Speaker 2: really interested in having sex our boy here, he's not
- 43:27Speaker 2: interested in having sex on the boat, while Gias says
- 43:29Speaker 2: that she's a very sexual person, but she also doesn't
- 43:32Speaker 2: really want to have sex with him on the boat.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Which means we're going to be seeing them having sex
- 43:37Speaker 3: in a closet next week.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I can't wait.
- 43:40Speaker 3: So and that is a intentional edit to put in
- 43:45Speaker 3: that somebody says that they're not going to have sex
- 43:48Speaker 3: so that they can show them having sex in like
- 43:51Speaker 3: a future episode, Like you two stop, like they're both like.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Just as hot as they are. The way she's laying
- 43:58Speaker 2: there in a little top. They've been dream and he's
- 44:00Speaker 2: taking her her Casadia from her, and he's like we're
- 44:04Speaker 2: not going to do this right now, and she's like, yeah,
- 44:06Speaker 2: absolutely not, but like I love it so like we're
- 44:09Speaker 2: not going to but like in two days when we
- 44:11Speaker 2: get off the boat, let's do it.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Yeah. No, like we're going to be seeing them sneak
- 44:17Speaker 3: into a closet, think that there's no cameras, forget that
- 44:20Speaker 3: they're micd and that's where it's going to be.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I am holding on to every single bar.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Watch out, guys.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I'm yeah, okay, So if you thought the drama with
- 44:31Speaker 2: Shade was done, we have more. This moment for me
- 44:36Speaker 2: is so cringe. She basically tries to tell Delaney that
- 44:41Speaker 2: she can have Keith because she's looking for someone more
- 44:45Speaker 2: into art and literature, which Delaney totally takes as a
- 44:49Speaker 2: dig at her as well, which I actually kind of
- 44:51Speaker 2: saw it that way, or so many things about this fight.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I'm also like, come on, girl, like there's just too
- 44:57Speaker 2: much drama. We don't have to do this. Delaney's barely
- 44:59Speaker 2: been there for like two seconds. Let her wash her face.
- 45:02Speaker 2: She's clearly in that tiny bathroom just trying to get
- 45:04Speaker 2: her makeup off for the night, get a little bed rest,
- 45:07Speaker 2: and I don't know if she knows where Delaney is from,
- 45:11Speaker 2: but I would have been offended as well. She is
- 45:13Speaker 2: literally saying like Keith is not intelligent enough for her.
- 45:16Speaker 2: He's not you know, revolutionized or whatever. I would absolutely
- 45:21Speaker 2: take offense to that, because they are both from small
- 45:23Speaker 2: towns out in the middle of nowhere whatever. I would
- 45:25Speaker 2: take offense to that. But I also love that Delaney
- 45:29Speaker 2: didn't back down.
- 45:31Speaker 3: She didn't. And also, let's be so for real, Shade,
- 45:34Speaker 3: there was no good intention with that conversation. You had
- 45:39Speaker 3: no right to go up to her and be like, girl,
- 45:42Speaker 3: by the way, you can have him. He said he
- 45:44Speaker 3: didn't want you. Girl. Like five seconds ago, you were like, hey,
- 45:48Speaker 3: so we're still good, right, like we still have a connection,
- 45:50Speaker 3: and he was like, no, we can be friends. You
- 45:53Speaker 3: have no right to then go up to the girl
- 45:55Speaker 3: and be like, by the way, girl, just let you
- 45:57Speaker 3: know you can have him. No, no, no, no, no no.
- 46:03Speaker 2: I also love that our girl Bella comes in and
- 46:06Speaker 2: she's like, girl, put it to rest, shaw day, come
- 46:09Speaker 2: on in here, tuck yourself in bed, Leave that poor
- 46:12Speaker 2: girl alone. We're not doing this tonight, honey. This is
- 46:15Speaker 2: not a tonight conversation.
- 46:17Speaker 3: For somebody who keeps getting called dramatic. I mean we
- 46:20Speaker 3: need to like be holding up a mirror, shaw Day,
- 46:23Speaker 3: because Bella is the one coming in here to diffuse
- 46:26Speaker 3: the bomb.
- 46:29Speaker 2: I'm so attached to these people, Heather, I cannot help it.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I am so attached to each one of these people.
- 46:35Speaker 2: And when that moment happened, and then I'm literally I
- 46:39Speaker 2: love Also is it? Will you tell me? Is it
- 46:42Speaker 2: the fourth dimension, fourth whatever? Where we see it's playing
- 46:46Speaker 2: out on that little tiny camera in the bathroom.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Oh, the breaking the fourth wall. Yes, we was playing
- 46:53Speaker 3: on a little camera in the bathroom.
- 46:56Speaker 2: You see it like playing out from a camera that
- 46:58Speaker 2: they have placed in the bathroom because Laney was in there,
- 47:00Speaker 2: she's trying to get ready for bed. Then you've got
- 47:02Speaker 2: shaw Day. We're seeing her face that she's like making
- 47:04Speaker 2: all this conflict, and we're seeing the back of Delaney's head,
- 47:07Speaker 2: and then we see Bella come in in the doorway
- 47:09Speaker 2: and she's like, girl, girl, Hey, hey, tonight's not the night, honey,
- 47:12Speaker 2: let's go night night.
- 47:14Speaker 3: It's less about breaking the fourth wall in that scene,
- 47:16Speaker 3: and we're just actually being a fly on the wall.
- 47:19Speaker 3: And that's because those rooms are so small that they
- 47:22Speaker 3: have to use cameras in the corners because a camera
- 47:25Speaker 3: crew can't fit in those rooms with the talent. That's
- 47:29Speaker 3: why they have to have stationary cameras set up.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I actually, like, really love it because it does make
- 47:33Speaker 2: me feel a part of the drama. I feel like
- 47:36Speaker 2: I'm in there and I'm a part of the drama,
- 47:38Speaker 2: and i am just a fly on the wall and
- 47:39Speaker 2: I'm getting to watch every last bit of it take place.
- 47:43Speaker 2: It's fine. Delaney goes in, she works the part, she
- 47:46Speaker 2: gets some you know, some comfort from Keif, and we
- 47:49Speaker 2: can see the spark starts to fly between the two
- 47:51Speaker 2: of them. They're they're like moving on in the right direction.
- 48:06Speaker 2: The next day we see the Downsiders cleaning toilets with toothbrushes. Heather,
- 48:10Speaker 2: I knew that you loved this.
- 48:13Speaker 3: It felt like somebody said, like, you don't clean a
- 48:17Speaker 3: toilet with a toothbrush unless you're in prison. And I
- 48:20Speaker 3: was like, yeah, this is giving weird prison vibes right now.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Like I know that they were doing it for the scene,
- 48:26Speaker 3: like those aren't their toothbrushes, and that's not how toilets
- 48:29Speaker 3: get cleaned on a super yacht. But I was like,
- 48:32Speaker 3: why are we doing this? Why are we doing toothbrush
- 48:36Speaker 3: toilet cleaning scene like youw oh? It makes for great
- 48:41Speaker 3: but it gives just a good scene of Lexi and
- 48:43Speaker 3: James trying to strategize, which again, we love the strategy
- 48:48Speaker 3: of this game show because that's what makes it so
- 48:50Speaker 3: different and fun because they're vibing down below, but they
- 48:54Speaker 3: know they can't win the show this way, like with
- 48:57Speaker 3: them just being down, so they have to strategize to
- 48:59Speaker 3: get up to the top together. And I do kind
- 49:03Speaker 3: of love seeing this little moment between them.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I told you I love them. I love them. I
- 49:08Speaker 2: have so many favorites I can't keep them straight, but
- 49:10Speaker 2: I like love the two of them. I love them
- 49:13Speaker 2: the litle kiitie pies. I can't wait to get a
- 49:14Speaker 2: little more of them, and I hope that they make
- 49:17Speaker 2: it to the top side because I want to see
- 49:19Speaker 2: more of an intimate part of their relationship. Because remember,
- 49:23Speaker 2: he was not having sex when he came on to
- 49:25Speaker 2: the boat.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Yeah, however long that was, he doesn't really say how
- 49:29Speaker 3: long his celibacy streak was. I think it's safe to say, though,
- 49:34Speaker 3: that David and Low are not having a celibacy streak,
- 49:38Speaker 3: and I found it extremely weird that I can't even
- 49:42Speaker 3: remember who he says this to, just randomly. He says
- 49:45Speaker 3: on the boat to another guy that he's had sex
- 49:48Speaker 3: with Low multiple times, but he's never orgasmed, and he
- 49:51Speaker 3: thinks that sexual compatibility is important. I would be flabbergasted
- 49:57Speaker 3: if he said that about me on camera on a
- 50:01Speaker 3: gigantic show. And they producers keep playing this up, right,
- 50:07Speaker 3: So we're seeing David saying some stuff behind her back,
- 50:12Speaker 3: whether it's the he doesn't like the negative comment she
- 50:14Speaker 3: made about Delaney, whether it's now that you know their
- 50:17Speaker 3: sexual compatibility isn't great, while we're seeing Low in every
- 50:21Speaker 3: other scene being like he's my man. I can't wait
- 50:24Speaker 3: until we're off this boat. Da da da, which is
- 50:27Speaker 3: just you guys. I'm so sorry. This is a huge,
- 50:30Speaker 3: huge setup for them to fail. They are going to
- 50:33Speaker 3: fail as a couple. They are not going to make it,
- 50:35Speaker 3: and it's because of the way they are showing this
- 50:38Speaker 3: playing out that this is I already see the writing
- 50:41Speaker 3: on the wall.
- 50:41Speaker 2: The writing's on the wall with these two. I'm not
- 50:44Speaker 2: just embarrassed for her though, Heather, he's too young to
- 50:48Speaker 2: not be having orgasms at his age. It's a pretty
- 50:53Speaker 2: done deal. So I'm also slightly embarrassed for him that
- 50:57Speaker 2: he is saying that they have done this multiple times
- 50:59Speaker 2: and he's not orgasmed.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but I know he's saying that in the way
- 51:04Speaker 3: that he's not taking it responsibility for his own body.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Oh for sure. Does he strike us as a guy
- 51:09Speaker 2: that would be like a little man I should see
- 51:11Speaker 2: a doctor. Absolutely not. Of course, it's the woman's problem.
- 51:14Speaker 3: He's a mental health person. He should be a little
- 51:17Speaker 3: bit more sensitive with this. Sorry, David.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Oh, that was my first Dick. Maybe not my first,
- 51:23Speaker 2: but it was. It was like at Dick with.
- 51:25Speaker 3: David, she's your favorite last episode. I can't with this.
- 51:30Speaker 2: I have changed my mind. I told you I'm in
- 51:32Speaker 2: love with other people now. I have moved on from David.
- 51:35Speaker 2: He is no longer the apple of my eye. I
- 51:38Speaker 2: have moved on.
- 51:39Speaker 3: I'm ready to see David on the downside now. After
- 51:42Speaker 3: this comment, I'm like, maybe you should go take a
- 51:45Speaker 3: toothbrush and get to some toilets pretty soon. I think
- 51:48Speaker 3: that your turn is coming. I think you've been on
- 51:50Speaker 3: the top side a little too long.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he's getting a little too cozy. It's so fine,
- 51:55Speaker 2: all as well. Two new hot men come, Heather. This
- 51:59Speaker 2: has become just the highlight of the episodes for me.
- 52:02Speaker 2: When we get new contestants on the show, I'm all about,
- 52:06Speaker 2: let's see what they look like, Let's see how young
- 52:08Speaker 2: they are, let's see what they have to offer. And
- 52:10Speaker 2: we get these two hot guys riding the boat. I
- 52:13Speaker 2: love this scene where they're coming in on these little
- 52:15Speaker 2: tiny boats, Heather, and they're on the front and they're
- 52:18Speaker 2: stretched out and their abs are flexed. They're so happy.
- 52:21Speaker 2: They're just like their hair is blowing in the wind.
- 52:23Speaker 2: We get to see Bradley and Jake coming in hot
- 52:26Speaker 2: as can be. Okay, Jake is twenty three, Heather. I
- 52:31Speaker 2: almost felt gross watching Jake. He's so young. I'm forty four,
- 52:36Speaker 2: so I'm twenty one years older than him. It almost
- 52:39Speaker 2: felt gross for me, just for me to watch this
- 52:43Speaker 2: young adult coming in half naked. It's fine. He's a
- 52:48Speaker 2: personal trainer, of course he is. Did you see his abs?
- 52:51Speaker 2: He's bold and if he wants a woman, he's gonna
- 52:55Speaker 2: get her. At twenty three, Hunty, you should, but listen,
- 52:58Speaker 2: Bradley's not that much. The two of them are two
- 53:01Speaker 2: peas in a pod. Bradley is only twenty five. I
- 53:05Speaker 2: was like, where did they find these two? Of course,
- 53:07Speaker 2: they have all the free time in the world to
- 53:09Speaker 2: film a reality show right now, and they're like barely
- 53:11Speaker 2: in their twenties. Bradley says that he's kind of been
- 53:15Speaker 2: a slut lately. At least he's keeping it real. But
- 53:19Speaker 2: he's ready for a relationship at twenty five, and he's
- 53:23Speaker 2: looking for an emotional connection. Heather, are you buying?
- 53:28Speaker 3: Absolutely not, okay. Anybody that has the self awareness to
- 53:33Speaker 3: call themselves a slut is happy about that, and he
- 53:37Speaker 3: is not looking for anything serious. These are the things
- 53:40Speaker 3: that men say because they think that's what women want
- 53:44Speaker 3: to hear, and ladies, we have to stop accepting these
- 53:47Speaker 3: kinds of things because this is These are two gigantic
- 53:51Speaker 3: red flags rolling up on this ship together. That is
- 53:55Speaker 3: exactly what it is. Anybody who calls himself a slut
- 53:59Speaker 3: is not calming down anytime soon, very much enjoying that
- 54:04Speaker 3: space that he's in.
- 54:05Speaker 2: He is in his learning era.
- 54:09Speaker 3: I have to say though, that we get into this
- 54:10Speaker 3: next challenge, which is called Hearts of Darkness. This is
- 54:15Speaker 3: a straight up for anybody who watches Love Island, this
- 54:18Speaker 3: is a straight up ripoff of the heart rate challenge
- 54:22Speaker 3: that we see every season on that show, which is
- 54:24Speaker 3: a big thing on Love Island. They make everybody take
- 54:28Speaker 3: turns to get their heart rate up and it is
- 54:30Speaker 3: a full on challenge between the entire cast again on
- 54:35Speaker 3: this show. Because there's a prize to be one of
- 54:38Speaker 3: getting on the top side. Only people who are willing
- 54:41Speaker 3: to challenge the top side men get involved in this challenge.
- 54:47Speaker 3: So for Low, James is willing to challenge David, Leela,
- 54:52Speaker 3: Keith and Bradley are both willing to challenge Karai. For Jia,
- 54:57Speaker 3: no one is willing to challenge Tim, she's not in
- 55:00Speaker 3: it why, And for Enna, Jake and Prisad are willing
- 55:05Speaker 3: to challenge Andrew. So the challenge will be that the
- 55:09Speaker 3: two new men have to play in this game as well,
- 55:13Speaker 3: but each Chop Side woman will be blindfolded and be
- 55:17Speaker 3: connected to a heart rate monitor to determine how turned
- 55:20Speaker 3: on they get. Whichever guy clocks the highest heart rate wins. Obviously,
- 55:25Speaker 3: Bella is salivating by the way. She's not involved in
- 55:30Speaker 3: this challenge, but poor thing really wants to be. And
- 55:33Speaker 3: then there's this like weird perfume integration.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Heather, what is that is that just product placement? Is
- 55:39Speaker 2: that what that was? It did not fit for me.
- 55:41Speaker 2: It felt like they dropped right there.
- 55:44Speaker 3: I was like, what, it's a commercial. So they had
- 55:47Speaker 3: to say sent Birds so many times, they had to
- 55:49Speaker 3: show sent Bird logo so many times, and that's because
- 55:52Speaker 3: cent Bird paid to have their commercial within the show
- 55:57Speaker 3: persons on the outsides, because you're not skipping through an
- 56:01Speaker 3: integration when you watch it, so that's a more premium
- 56:04Speaker 3: spot to be featured. Just like we're not getting alcohol
- 56:08Speaker 3: placement on this show, but that is something that you
- 56:11Speaker 3: tend to see on a lot of these dating shows.
- 56:13Speaker 3: They'll be sponsored by an alcohol brand and then you
- 56:16Speaker 3: just see them drinking that the entire season. So yeah,
- 56:20Speaker 3: that was a.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Weird, weird.
- 56:22Speaker 3: It was weird for me to integration here because then
- 56:24Speaker 3: they start spraying the perfume on their dicks, and it
- 56:27Speaker 3: was like, that's so weird, so strange, so strange. So
- 56:32Speaker 3: Low is up first, David straddles her, picks her up,
- 56:36Speaker 3: licks her all over her body, and her toes a
- 56:40Speaker 3: little uncomfy with that. James takes off his belt and
- 56:45Speaker 3: ties her up with it. He was really trying to
- 56:48Speaker 3: do something with that I don't think it worked. Next
- 56:51Speaker 3: is Leela. She has Keith. He uses a duster on
- 56:56Speaker 3: her body, which is not sexy and kind of groshs.
- 57:02Speaker 3: It was weird. It was very strange, and Keith, it
- 57:07Speaker 3: made it look like you were not sure what to
- 57:09Speaker 3: do at all. Bradley is next. This is weird. He's
- 57:14Speaker 3: just been on this boat for five seconds and he's
- 57:17Speaker 3: already shirtless and grinding this woman that he does not
- 57:20Speaker 3: know at all. And the best part is that Bella
- 57:23Speaker 3: is watching and she likes what she sees. Bella is
- 57:27Speaker 3: like getting really turned on by watching him grind on
- 57:30Speaker 3: another woman.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Can I just for a second. I don't like when
- 57:34Speaker 2: shows do this, Like I live my life very much
- 57:38Speaker 2: like a woman in the streets of a freak in
- 57:41Speaker 2: the sheets?
- 57:41Speaker 3: Is that?
- 57:42Speaker 2: How is it Luda who tells me that's how I
- 57:44Speaker 2: need to live my life? Yeah, these things like this
- 57:47Speaker 2: make me so uncomfortable, Heather, like, I, if I was
- 57:51Speaker 2: there in person, I just could not participate. There's no
- 57:53Speaker 2: way I could sit in a chair and allow Keith,
- 57:57Speaker 2: of all people, because he doesn't ooh, who's that sex
- 58:00Speaker 2: appeal for me to use a duster on my body?
- 58:04Speaker 2: I would be so so uncomfortable with this entire scenario.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Like it's a fine line of like we're porn stars
- 58:16Speaker 2: or we're reality stars. For me, it's a very fine line.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's definitely uncomfy for sure, But like I said,
- 58:24Speaker 3: it's so strange that so many shows are doing this
- 58:27Speaker 3: exact challenge now over and over again. Next is Kari
- 58:32Speaker 3: and this he says that they haven't even kissed. Leila
- 58:37Speaker 3: and Carai haven't even kissed yet, but she kisses her
- 58:40Speaker 3: all over her neck and she's like into it. That
- 58:44Speaker 3: is Enna, and Andrew kisses her and picks her up,
- 58:49Speaker 3: and she's kind of like whoa over it? And then
- 58:53Speaker 3: Jake let's strum where Jake is twenty three, Enna is
- 58:57Speaker 3: thirty three, jakes her up, licks her chest again. He's
- 59:03Speaker 3: been here for five.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Seconds at twenty three though, go big or go home, Heather,
- 59:09Speaker 2: I guess, so we close out though.
- 59:11Speaker 3: On Prisad he says he says his strategy is sexy scary,
- 59:17Speaker 3: which actually made me laugh out loud when he said that,
- 59:21Speaker 3: like sexy scary is like he like jolted her and
- 59:24Speaker 3: then he kind of like dropped her, and then it's
- 59:27Speaker 3: like it was just so ridiculous. But then he has
- 59:30Speaker 3: to go on and says he has been told that
- 59:33Speaker 3: he looks like a vampire, and then he starts fighting
- 59:37Speaker 3: at her neck and I was just losing it. I
- 59:40Speaker 3: was laughing so hard. This scene was hilarious. And then
- 59:44Speaker 3: Andrew saying an interview that he thinks that the only
- 59:49Speaker 3: reason Perisad got her heart rate up was because he
- 59:51Speaker 3: was scaring her. So funny. It was just so funny.
- 59:56Speaker 3: If anybody, you know, what would have worked on me
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: is if not even anything sexual, but if somebody came
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: and tickled me in this situation and I'm blindfolded, my
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: heart rate probably would have been pumping like crazy, like
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: and I don't know who's tickling me, and I don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: know how long it's going on. I'm actually probably gonna laugh,
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: like laugh so hard, and then my heart rate's going
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: to be up, and then I like, I'm very ticklish.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: It's weird, it's so strange.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, I love it. Well, now we all know.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Now we all know how to really get you riled up, Heather.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: The challenge results are for low David wins fine, For
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Leila cry wins okay, fine, But for Enna Prisad wins.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: It's just this sexy, scary thing. And so again Enna
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: is faced with this you know thing. Is she going
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: to follow her current match, which is Andrew, who she's
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: not in a relationship with but she has a friendship with.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: She going to follow him down to the downside? Or
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: is she going to stay with Prisad. Now, the last
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: time she had this choice, she stayed up top because
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: she did not want to give that up. She shockingly
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: chooses to go to the downside.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: I was shocked. She's definitely a top side kind of girl.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: But what I think it really comes down to is
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: like she didn't like Prisad that much like Andrews. She
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: could tolerate Perisad. She was not having it. Must have
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: been that hair flip in the back, you know what
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I mean. She's not having any part of that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: You didn't want to wake up in the middle of
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: the night getting scared, I think is what happened. She
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: didn't want to have a scary part two in the sheets. No.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Perisad then gets to choose who to bring up to
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: the top side with him, and he chooses Delaney because
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: they arrived at the same time. He literally knows no
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: One Lo and David. Lo says David has made her
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: like physical touch, and Low starts to ask about what
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: it would be like off the boat and Persad and Delaney.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Delaney says that she doesn't like cocky guys and has
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: mostly dated guys like Persad. She doesn't say that to
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: his face, but that's kind of you know what she's
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: saying in her interview, all right.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Next up in the episode, as we see the happy hour,
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I kind of look forward to the happy hour because
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: we get to see a little play between the topsiders
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: and the downsiders, you know what I mean. Keith pulls
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Delaney for a chat. Delaney feels the closest to him
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: and enjoys getting to know him. She tells Keith she's
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: not interested in Prisad, not that I thought she was
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: interested in Pisad. I'm not seeing it at all. But
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I kind of also don't see it between Keith and Delaney,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Like it's like they're both two scared little young adults.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I'm not seeing the attraction, but it's got to be
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: better than Prosad because I for sure don't see that.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: But that leads us into the next scene, which I'm
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: like dying on the inside because it shows them. At bedtime,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: and Delaney asks Prisad, she says, I want to sleep
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: alone in the bed. She is not trying to snuggle him,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: and he I think, if I remember correctly the Arison
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: mom where he was like, oh no, no, we'll just sleep.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: I'm not trying to take your clothes off, and she's like, yeah, duh, duh.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: I'm also not going to allow you to do that.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: But like, I'll take the king sized bed to myself.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Prisad gives me Andrew with long hair, like it's just
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: like he's a modelly, hot guy who the lights are
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: on but maybe nobody's home. Prisad, I feel like, you're
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: probably cool guy, but that's how they're showing you on
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: this show.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I also think the same thing that he gave very
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: much off like Andrew, like he says that he likes Delaney,
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: that he's feeling it. He clearly is seeing something there
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: that's not there at all. I'm just amazed when guys
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: do this, that they don't read the room clearly, or
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: that they are so self absorbed that they don't quite
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: see the signs and the writing on the wall. Those
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: are the ones that you have to be really black
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: and white with totally totally whatever.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: But then we see the Downsiders cleaning and speaking of
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: not getting the vibes, Like Bella is really interested in
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Bradley and she's like thinking she's playing it cool, and
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: he's like, yeah, she's kind of like a sister, I know.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: And listen, Ella, they're working that whole scene in the
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: hallway and you can see our girl, Bella. We love her,
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: just batting her eyes, looking all cute talking to him,
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: and she says, I'm trying to play it safe. She's
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: not gonna lay it all on table. She's not gonna
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: come on strong. But I believe that this is biting
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: her in the in the ass really at the end
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: of the day because she I think she really really
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: wants him.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: I think we're gonna see a turn. I think we're
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: gonna see a friends to love her situation. I'm calling
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: it now with him with that.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Sweet little baby, She's gonna she's gonna rock him like
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: a baby at the end of the night.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: I think that Bradley might have a little friends to
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Lover's moment with her.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Well. I can't wait to see how that plays out
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: for our girl Bella. But Keith gets the text from
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Gabby saying that he gets to go on a date
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: with a top side woman of his choice. Right, so
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: we know, I know, I don't know if you know,
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: but I know Keith chooses Delaney for the date. I'm
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: still not seeing it, Heather, I'm not seeing it. They
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: go on a date, they do some pottery, and here
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: we are on another date on this show, and they
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: have to over sexualize it, right, It can't just be
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: a date where these two people go they make some
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: pottery and they have a good time. It's got to
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: be over sexualized. And I just don't quite understand it.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I felt weird watching.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: I think it's funny. It's all in humor, and like
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: I just I just wonder personally what it's like in
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: the edit bay when they're making these, because you know
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: that the editor is like, oh, okay, choose shot of
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: finger going into clay. Choose finger going into clay again,
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: to the weird words like deeper.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: Overlay when Keith moans loudly like come.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: On, Like you know, it wasn't probably sexual or funny
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: or anything in the moment, but it's just I give
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: my hat to you. The editors of this show, because
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: you're really making some funny scenes happen. And I know
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: that that's what This was, a whole edited scene to
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: make it look.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Like that it really was. It's fine. We get to
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: see more of Keith and his story during this situation,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: and it was kind of nice to get a little
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: bit more of his backstory. He talks about why he
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: became a cop and how he's ready for a wife
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: and kids, And it's the first time I really felt
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: like as a viewer that Delaney shows genuine interest. Before that,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: it didn't feel like that. It just felt like she
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: was playing a part. She's on a show. But this
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: is the first time that I see like she shows
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: genuine interest in Keith, which I don't know. Maybe we'll
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: see something play out between the two, and I don't know,
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: do you see it.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: I think that she is like, Okay, out of the
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: guys here, this is the guy that I vibe with
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: the most until somebody new shows up. Like that's how
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: I think she's like playing it. She's like, I'm not
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: into this perisad guy. Everybody else seems to be kind
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: of coupled up with somebody, so I'll stick with this
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: guy for now. I think that's the vibe I'm getting.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of with you there. It's fine.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: They get back to the boat. Here we are, We've
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: got another plank ceremony. It's Keith and Pisad. They walk
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: the plank. Keith talks about them being very comfortable and
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: compatible and that he loved their date. Prisad says that
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Delaney's beautiful on the inside and the out because he
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: spent you know, six hours with her, so he should know.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: He sees a future for them off this yacht, and
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: I'm like, Pisad, you're you're one in the same, my friend.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: But it's fine. Delaney sends Prisad straight overboard. It was
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: not in his future, poor guy.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I think we all knew that watching and it sounds
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: like the cast New Tube, because they said as they
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: were walking up, they were like, we have to act
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: surprised or something by the results. So everybody was hooting
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: and hollering for keif keif they kept going, So I
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: think everybody knew that this was kind of like a
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: done deal.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I kind of died though, like after Prasad dumps overboard
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: and then Keith is done and the first thing that
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: he does is he flexes towards all the guys on
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: the balcony. He doesn't run to Delaney and hug her
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: and kiss her or tell her how sweet she is.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: He literally like flexes his biceps to the men on
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: the second level. What's wrong with guys? What's wrong with them?
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: Anyways? Another successful set of episodes from Love Overboard. Guys,
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: Please tell us in our comments or on our dms.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Are you loving this show? What do you love about it?
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: What are you not liking about it? Who are you
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: rooting for to win this season? I'm still rooting for
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Bella to make a comeback. That's That's who I'm rooting
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: for right now.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I'm on it for Lexi and James. I'm not sure
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: if you saw the preview, but we get a little
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: lap dance, something going down in the hot tub, and
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: I'm ready for it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: Okay, we'll have to talk about that next episode as well.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: As it looks like we get two more female shipwreckers joining.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: I feel like the boat's getting a little crowded. We
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: might be doing a double elimination or something.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Thing starting. Is the boat getting rocky, Heather, I think.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: It's getting Rocky. I think it's getting a little full
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: and obviously we see in the preview more drama to come.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: So this has been really fun. Stay tuned for more.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: We will be breaking down this season probably the rest
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: of this week, just because all the episodes are out now,
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: so if you haven't watched thus far, definitely have time
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: to catch up. But that's all for today. She's been
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Deanna and I've been Heather. Thanks guys.
