- 0:25Speaker 2: word for that. Yeah, sign up like Bill Allred did,
- 0:27Speaker 2: and I'll mail you skid.
- 0:29Speaker 3: All right, what do we got.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Kind of a busy for twenty holiday? I guess are
- 0:35Speaker 2: we calling it a holiday?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Sure? Why not? Yeah?
- 0:39Speaker 2: On Paramount Plus the streaming premiere of Cheech and Song's
- 0:44Speaker 2: Last Movie documentary, which pretty much is the seventies.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they don't get along, do they? They do now? Yeah?
- 0:53Speaker 4: They do now.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they have a following out. They had a falling
- 0:55Speaker 3: out for a long time.
- 0:56Speaker 2: But yeah, they were huge in the seventies that he
- 0:59Speaker 2: sold out cons shirts, hit album. Yeah, the first couple
- 1:03Speaker 2: of movies. I preferred next movie, which actually came out
- 1:07Speaker 2: in nineteen eighty and I remember sneaking into that with
- 1:10Speaker 2: my buddies because we bought a ticket to some Disney
- 1:13Speaker 2: movie next door, and then we.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Just walked over to the other one. Yeah. Yeah, should
- 1:16Speaker 3: not have been in there. No, but Gabe's not hear me. Yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 3: next movie was really weird. Yes it was.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Of course it was the first time you saw Pee
- 1:26Speaker 4: Herman too.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, that's right. Really.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Also, we have a new very short documentary series on
- 1:34Speaker 2: Hulu called four Times twenty Quick Hits. It's produced by
- 1:38Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel. It's four twenty minute documentaries about weed squeezed
- 1:42Speaker 2: into an hour. And so I think Jimmy Kimmel did
- 1:48Speaker 2: a reality show about a weed store a.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Few years ago.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I think he's trying to set up his post talk
- 1:55Speaker 2: show career as like a weed content creator or something.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Okay, their worst jobs to have, I guess both.
- 2:02Speaker 5: There's four to twenty minute documentaries that would be more
- 2:05Speaker 5: than an hour.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Yeah that's true.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, there is my understanding that it would be no math.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yes. Sorry.
- 2:12Speaker 2: A new animated series on Prime Video called Kevin. It's
- 2:15Speaker 2: about a house cat voice by Jason Schwartzman who was
- 2:19Speaker 2: fed up with his humans and he strikes out out
- 2:23Speaker 2: on his own in the big city and finds his
- 2:25Speaker 2: tribe at a pet rescue. And voices here include Aubrey Plaza,
- 2:31Speaker 2: who co created this series.
- 2:34Speaker 5: A pardon, that's why I've seen her photographs with big cats.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yes, even John Waters is a voice in here. Yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 2: Amy Sedaris, Maria Bamford, and Pavement singer Steven Malkmus for
- 2:49Speaker 2: some reason. That's available on Prime Video all eight episodes.
- 2:54Speaker 2: And Bill, the Freak Brothers are back on to b
- 2:58Speaker 2: the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Here they're just known as the Freak Brothers. This is
- 3:03Speaker 2: the third season of the animated series, which is a
- 3:06Speaker 2: voice by Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, and Pete Davidson. And
- 3:11Speaker 2: it's very stupid, but I've watched all the seasons, so
- 3:16Speaker 2: I'm probably gonna.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Watch this one too, just because it's stupid. Yes, yes.
- 3:21Speaker 2: And also a series that was released about three years
- 3:25Speaker 2: ago on the Roku channel, so not a lot of
- 3:27Speaker 2: people saw it, called Slip.
- 3:29Speaker 3: It was created and starred and directed by Zoe.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Lister Jones about a woman who goes out and has
- 3:37Speaker 2: sex with strangers and wakes up in an alternate reality
- 3:40Speaker 2: and she has to have sex with more strangers until
- 3:42Speaker 2: she gets back to her own reality. It's sounds horrible.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's actually pretty good. It sounds terrible.
- 3:51Speaker 5: It sounds similar to a comic book that Matt Fraction
- 3:55Speaker 5: wrote called Sex Criminals. Yeah, could be where this couple
- 4:00Speaker 5: covers when they have sex the time stops and then
- 4:04Speaker 5: they go and rob banks.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, there's no robbing the banks here.
- 4:07Speaker 2: This is more on the more in line with everything
- 4:10Speaker 2: all everything, everywhere, all at once. But now it's moved
- 4:13Speaker 2: to Peacock so people might actually see it. Oh okay, yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 2: and it's it's worth checking out. On Tuesday, we have
- 4:20Speaker 2: a new series, but it's not new. Bear Grills is
- 4:22Speaker 2: Running Wild on Fox. This is not Running Wild with
- 4:26Speaker 2: Bear Grills because that that belongs to NBC. I think
- 4:31Speaker 2: so the a marketing apartment that has paid millions of
- 4:34Speaker 2: dollars came up with we'll call it bear.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Grills is running Wild.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Okay, And he's out in the wilderness with Matthew McConaughey
- 4:41Speaker 2: for the first episode and then uh Uma Thurman and
- 4:45Speaker 2: Coleman Domingo in future episodes. And also we have the
- 4:48Speaker 2: fourth season of Farmer Wants a Wife. These are both
- 4:51Speaker 2: on Fox. I think this is filmed before the Big
- 4:56Speaker 2: Beautiful Terrace. I don't think farmer can afford a wife. Yeah, more,
- 5:01Speaker 2: there probably won't be another season. On Wednesday for Earth Day,
- 5:05Speaker 2: Zach Galafanakas has a new reality series called This Is
- 5:08Speaker 2: a Guarding Gardening Show.
- 5:10Speaker 3: And that's what it is. Yeah, that's exactly what it is.
- 5:14Speaker 4: And apparently that's what he's been doing.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah, in his spare time. Yeah, he's learning how to garden.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Of course it is Zach.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So far, he's the funniest part of the Audacity on AMC,
- 5:26Speaker 2: which is just dark Silicon Valley and uh a documentary
- 5:31Speaker 2: depending on how you feel about this particular character. Hulk
- 5:34Speaker 2: Hogan Real American on Netflix. These are both on Netflix. Yeah. Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 2: there's even even even in appearance by our so called
- 5:45Speaker 2: president right right with Hulk right before he died last year.
- 5:49Speaker 5: So I've literally seen more of Hulk Hogan than I
- 5:52Speaker 5: ever want to.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it was Hulp can't There's nothing Hulk can't ruin.
- 5:56Speaker 2: At some point Thursday, Stranger Things Animated tales.
- 6:01Speaker 3: From eighty five.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's none of the people, well except the
- 6:07Speaker 2: producers who are involved with this, but none of the
- 6:09Speaker 2: none of the kids, none of the voices from the
- 6:11Speaker 2: original Stranger Things. But the people including Odessa Ezeon, Jennine
- 6:16Speaker 2: Garofflo Lou Diamond Phillips and Robert England are the voices
- 6:21Speaker 2: you would know from here. And it's that computer animation
- 6:25Speaker 2: that I'm not really into, Okay, but it's that. And
- 6:28Speaker 2: a new series from on Thursday on HBO and HBO
- 6:32Speaker 2: Max from the guy who created Baby Reindeer. Oh yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 2: Richard Gadd. This is a new a British series called
- 6:38Speaker 2: half Man. It's about the thirty year friendship between the
- 6:41Speaker 2: two very opposite personalities played by Richard Gadd and Jamie Bell,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and it's an exploration of male friendship and how it
- 6:53Speaker 2: can go very toxic.
- 6:54Speaker 5: I'll be interested in seeing this because Baby Reindeer was autobiographical,
- 6:58Speaker 5: that was his story.
- 7:00Speaker 3: So interesting to see something.
- 7:04Speaker 2: On Friday, Marty Supreme on HBO on HBO Max. I
- 7:09Speaker 2: didn't see it in the theater. I'm curious. I'm curious
- 7:12Speaker 2: about the hype, but I don't know it. You know,
- 7:16Speaker 2: it saved the sport of ping pong, I mean table tennis.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Sure it saved it. Did it? Did its popularity increase
- 7:26Speaker 3: with this movie? Nothing? So not really.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Also Ballet on the other hand.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah, popular and a movie on Netflix Apex starring Charlie's
- 7:37Speaker 2: Throne and Tarn Edgerton. There they're foes in the Australian Wilderness.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I refused to believe that Charlie's Theron would be threatened
- 7:47Speaker 2: by Taron Edgerton, not a little bit. I've seen Atomic
- 7:50Speaker 2: Blonde several hundred times.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Yeah, no, my money's on her.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's on Netflix on Friday Apex. Also, Nikki
- 7:58Speaker 2: Glazer has a new stand up special on Hulu, Good Girl.
- 8:01Speaker 4: She's not a good girl.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Why would she call it that?
- 8:05Speaker 2: That's the joke gena. Yeah, yeah, she's in the special.
- 8:10Speaker 2: She says she's doing well now in Hollywood, but she
- 8:15Speaker 2: predicts they were going to kick her out eventually for
- 8:17Speaker 2: doing something horrible like aging naturally.
- 8:21Speaker 3: And uh.
- 8:23Speaker 2: On the other side of the good Good Boy premieeres
- 8:27Speaker 2: on Saturday on Hulu.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Didn't didn't? Did you see it? Not care for it? Yeah?
- 8:32Speaker 3: What is it?
- 8:34Speaker 5: It's it's it's a movie that it's from the dog's perspective.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 8:38Speaker 4: But it's a murder.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a haunted house, supernatural spirits great idea. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 2: the most of the accolades for this are for the
- 8:49Speaker 2: dog's performance, and with the story not so much.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So if they'd had a better story.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Had a different person making the movie worked because the
- 9:00Speaker 5: guy who came up with the idea when I'm gonna
- 9:02Speaker 5: do the whole thing, and that's when he should have
- 9:05Speaker 5: handed it to somebody else.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Here's an idea for.
- 9:08Speaker 3: It did pretty well.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It made a lot of money considering its budget, which
- 9:12Speaker 2: is almost nothing.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Nothing.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And on Sunday, Bob's Burgers is back. I just I
- 9:17Speaker 2: just need some new Bob's Burgers in my life. I
- 9:19Speaker 2: need some low some low steaks parables in my life.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, the average guy. We know how Jeane is
- 9:33Speaker 3: doing after his fiery car crash.
- 9:35Speaker 4: He's just is he okay?
- 9:37Speaker 3: Really? He's doing okay? Yeah?
- 9:39Speaker 4: And social media posts he's.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Okay, he's doing videos, He's fine.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and uh yeah, I'd recommend checking out this series
- 9:48Speaker 2: of Audacity on AMC. It's a it's sort of a
- 9:51Speaker 2: dark twist on Silicon Valley. Zach Galifanaka is in it,
- 9:57Speaker 2: I want.
- 9:57Speaker 4: To watch that show, but I hate those tech bro
- 10:00Speaker 4: so much.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, this this will affirm, mostly.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Will affirm everything that I already.
- 10:05Speaker 3: It's not pro tech bro good. Yeah, not at all.
- 10:09Speaker 4: None of us should be.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It portrays the main guy in this is played by
- 10:14Speaker 2: Billy Magnuson, and he's despicable and he's got Mark Zuckerbird hair.
- 10:19Speaker 3: So all right, I think that was on purpose?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Is that everything?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yes, that's all the news stuff coming this week? And
- 10:27Speaker 3: what is with Mark Zuckerbird's air? I don't know. That's
- 10:30Speaker 3: so weird. It's snappy. He doesn't have to wear it
- 10:33Speaker 3: like that.
- 10:36Speaker 1: All right, Bill Frost, thank you, Bill Frost dot TV.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yes, all right, thank you,
