- 0:00Speaker 1: H close your eyes and take a deep breath in
- 0:29and then slowly and gently breathe out again. Deep breath in,
- 0:40and slowly and gently breathe out. One final time, deep
- 0:47breath in and slowly and gently breathe out. Just bring
- 0:55your breathing back to its normal rhythm and relax. Let
- 1:00your body sink into your bed, and just allow yourself
- 1:05to just relax naturally. Take a few breaths and exhale
- 1:10slowly as you feel your muscles relaxing and getting softer
- 1:16as you sink deeper and deeper into your lovely soft bed. Now,
- 1:23imagine yourself standing on a beautiful beach filled with golden sand,
- 1:29and the sun is shining and there's not one single
- 1:32cloud in the sky. The sky is an amazing blue color.
- 1:37It's so wonderful. Then it looks like it's alive, so
- 1:42alive that you'd almost reach out and touch it, Almost
- 1:48so alive that you can feel the vibrations, just almost
- 1:53feel them. And if you look closely enough, maybe you
- 1:58can see the shimmering vibrations as they move slowly and
- 2:01gently through the sky. You turn your attention to the
- 2:07ocean and see the movement of the waves as they
- 2:11gently come up to the shore. The sun shines so
- 2:15brightly on the surface of the water that it looks
- 2:18like it's glistening with starlight. And as you look at it,
- 2:22you find yourself feeling so peaceful, so calm, and you
- 2:28imagine what it would feel like to just float on
- 2:32the water and let the waves gently take you to
- 2:36wherever you need to be. It's then that you notice
- 2:42something moving amongst the waves, and you see a little
- 2:46head just bobbing up and down. You're not sure what
- 2:49it is at first, but then you realize it's a turtle,
- 2:54and the little turtle is swimming your way. Comes out
- 3:00of the ocean and onto the sand, and he has
- 3:04the most amazing smile on his tiny face. He looks
- 3:08so happy that you find yourself smiling back at him.
- 3:13Speaker 2: He comes up.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Alongside of you, and he says aloud, and he tells
- 3:16you that his name is Teddy. He is extremely cute,
- 3:20and he looks ever so cudly, and he can stand
- 3:23on his back legs, and he has little turtle flippers,
- 3:29big brown twinkling eyes, a funny little nose, and the
- 3:33sweetest smile on his tiny face. You say hello to
- 3:38him and tell him your name, and you are so
- 3:41very pleased to meet him. Teddy tells you that he
- 3:46has a little cave he likes to have a sleepover
- 3:48him sometimes. He tells you that it's just behind the
- 3:52tropical trees at the edge of the sand. Teddy asks
- 3:57you if you would like to stay and play with
- 3:59him today. He asks you if you would like to
- 4:03have a sleepover in his cave.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:07Speaker 1: He tells you that it has all more cons too.
- 4:10It's not just a cave with no windows and no
- 4:13proper floor, you know. Oh, no, only the best for Teddy.
- 4:17His cave has carpets and fluffy rugs too. It has
- 4:22everything he needs to be comfortable and warm, and he
- 4:26tells you he even has nice candles that make his
- 4:30cave smell ever so nice. So you tell him that
- 4:36you would love to spend the day with him and
- 4:38would love it even more to be able to stay
- 4:41in his little cave. So the two of you set
- 4:46off across the sand to Teddy's cave, and just as
- 4:50you reach the opening too Teddy's cave, you notice that
- 4:54there is a volleyball cord just outside it. Teddy sees
- 4:59you're looking and he asks you if you would like
- 5:01to play a game of volleyball with him. He says
- 5:04it's his favorite game of all time. Oh yes, please,
- 5:08you say so. You both get ready to play, and
- 5:13when you begin, you wonder, how, how, just how will
- 5:19Teddy be able to get the ball over the net, because,
- 5:22after all, Teddy is well, he's a bit small with
- 5:26tiny flippers. You look over at Teddy and you see
- 5:31and he's attaching something made of wood to his back legs.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It stilts.
- 5:37Speaker 1: He's fastening stilts to his legs, and when he stands up,
- 5:42he's now the same height as you. Oh wow. Just
- 5:49as Teddy is walking towards you, you both hear a
- 5:52rustle from the trees, and out pops a very beautiful
- 5:56gray donkey and a rather large and white ostriche. Teddy
- 6:02looks delighted and has a very happy smile on his face. Hello,
- 6:10he says to the two newcomers. Teddy tells you that
- 6:14they are his very best friends. The beautiful gray donkey
- 6:19is called Josephine, and she has the most amazing big
- 6:23blue eyes, which is really very unusual as donkeys.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Have big brown eyes.
- 6:32Speaker 1: And the black and white ostriche is called Henrietta and
- 6:35she is very tall. They both say hello to you
- 6:40and how nice it is to meet you. They tell
- 6:43Teddy that they have come to play too, So the
- 6:47four of you begin your game of volleyball. So for
- 6:52a few moments, just have fun playing volleyball with Teddy,
- 6:58Josephine and Henrietta and maybe get to know them better. Toew,
- 9:11that was a good game. Who won? You are all
- 9:18feeling a little bit tired now and need a rest
- 9:22because you've had a very exciting and very energetic game.
- 9:28Teddy invites you all into his cave to have some
- 9:31cold drinks and some cakes and some sweets.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Teddy's cave is wonderful.
- 9:38Speaker 1: There has lots of toys and games to play with.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It has big soft bean bags for.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Seats, lots of them, which, by the way, are very comfortable.
- 9:52Teddy says that he uses his to sleep on as
- 9:56he doesn't need a bed, and you think that is
- 9:58a very good idea. As you sink down into your
- 10:01lovely soft beanbag, the little happy Turtle tells you that
- 10:07when you woke up this morning, you didn't think what
- 10:11a wonderful day you were going to have.
- 10:14Speaker 2: You woke up to a.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Beautiful day of life, a life that holds adventure and
- 10:20many surprises and new friends. You think to yourself, how
- 10:27very thankful you are that you simply woke up and
- 10:31had the opportunity to experience this wonderful day, and you
- 10:35feel so very blessed. You also learned things today, A
- 10:41how to play volleyball with a turtle on stilts. A
- 10:46turtle on stilts, Now that was fun. Teddy tells you
- 10:54that he is grateful for all life's lessons, pig and small.
- 10:58He tells you that he learned some think new every
- 11:01single day. Then he does a happy little dance and
- 11:08it makes you feel all the happiness in your own heart.
- 11:12He tells you that every day he says thank you
- 11:15out loud. In fact, he says it lots of times
- 11:20during the day, especially when he feels happy and grateful
- 11:25for his life. You realize that you too have many
- 11:31things to be grateful and happy for, your family, your friends,
- 11:38the animals that you love, the trees and how they
- 11:42move gently in the breeze. So many things to be
- 11:46grateful for the big things and especially the small things.
- 11:53And you're very thankful for this. Teddy does another little
- 11:59happy dance and that.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Makes you giggle.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Teddy reminds you that all of these people they love
- 12:06you just exactly the way you are, and you feel
- 12:12so good in your heart knowing that you are loved
- 12:16and cared for very very much. Teddy looks so happy
- 12:23that you are all here with him, and he's just
- 12:26loving it. But now it's time for everyone to go
- 12:31to bed, because what you didn't realize was that while
- 12:36you were all chatting and drinking your cold drinks and
- 12:39eating your cakes and your sweets, the sun has set
- 12:44and it's now dark outside, but not too dark, as
- 12:48the stars are shining and twinkling very brightly in the
- 12:52night sky. Josephine and Henrietta have also decided that they
- 12:59too are going to join in your sleepover with Teddy.
- 13:04So you all settle down on your big, squashy beanbags,
- 13:09and you think to yourself that life is so much
- 13:13better when we take time to be grateful for all
- 13:16that we have and for all of the wonderful moments
- 13:20we experience in our lives. He lean back and your
- 13:25comfy being back and close your eyes for just a
- 13:29little bit. And even though your eyes are closed, you
- 13:35still smile to yourself, feeling so peaceful and calm, so relaxed.
- 13:43And as you sink deeper and deeper into your comfy
- 13:47bean bag, you say good night to Teddy and to
- 13:52Josephine and to Henrietta, your new friends. You take a
- 13:58deep sigh, real relaxing even further, sinking down and down,
- 14:07sinking down and down into blissful sleep, feeling so very happy.
- 14:16And you take a breath and you say it back out,
- 14:21going deeper and deeper into sleep, when your eyes feel
- 14:27so heavy now, so relaxed, so peaceful and calm, but
- 14:35you feel so very very happy, just like Teddy the
- 14:42happy Turtle.
- 14:44Speaker 2: To sleep now and just rest.
- 15:07Speaker 3: To Ba, to.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Do, to.
