- 0:01Speaker 1: This is Believe. One network. Every topic. Everywhere. Welcome back
- 0:08Speaker 1: to the Stay Out of My Fridge podcast. Today we've
- 0:10Speaker 1: got Lo. We've got Isla. And obviously we have me.
- 0:14Speaker 1: We've got a snack crate here because for whatever reason
- 0:17Speaker 1: I let Lo talk me into getting one of these
- 0:19Speaker 1: silly things every single month. And probably going to be
- 0:22Speaker 1: a bunch of stuff. You guys don't know what country
- 0:24Speaker 1: it's from?
- 0:25Speaker 2: Nope.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Do you know what country it's from? Nope. All right. Well,
- 0:28Speaker 1: we're going to try a whole bunch of stuff that
- 0:29Speaker 1: we probably can't pronounce that we've probably never tried and
- 0:33Speaker 1: probably going to regret putting in our mouse and normally
- 0:36Speaker 1: we just kind of open this thing up eat everything
- 0:39Speaker 1: and argue about it but today we're gonna you know
- 0:41Speaker 1: maybe mix things up a little bit low has usually
- 0:44Speaker 1: done it but since i'm the one on camera i'm
- 0:46Speaker 1: gonna try to be the food master of this and
- 0:48Speaker 1: hand out things and try to say things and okay
- 0:51Speaker 1: and if it's not as good then you guys can
- 0:52Speaker 1: all just get into the comments and be like hey
- 0:55Speaker 1: we want low back so how's that sound Pretty good.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Any guesses? Let's take a guess. Where is the snack
- 1:02Speaker 1: crate from?
- 1:03Speaker 2: France.
- 1:04Speaker 1: That's a good guess.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Brazil. Brazil.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Good guess. Brazil, France. Let's open this thing up. For
- 1:12Speaker 1: anybody that doesn't know what a snack crate is, Hilo,
- 1:15Speaker 1: how would you describe what a snack crate is to
- 1:17Speaker 1: somebody that's never heard of it, listening maybe for the
- 1:19Speaker 1: first time, and saying, what is this? And again, we
- 1:21Speaker 1: are going to get these once a month. We're not
- 1:23Speaker 1: going to try to do them all the time, but
- 1:25Speaker 1: it's fun. You know, it's a cool thing. What is
- 1:28Speaker 1: a snack crate?
- 1:28Speaker 3: So a snack crate is where you get set. You
- 1:31Speaker 3: pay a couple, like a money every month for a
- 1:35Speaker 3: snack crate. And then when it comes, it's got foods
- 1:38Speaker 3: from all. It's got like one country or one place
- 1:42Speaker 3: in their food. And it ships to us so we
- 1:45Speaker 3: can try other people's states and foods.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Countries, not states, but good job.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Maybe some states, maybe some countries, but good job. Yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and it's all over the world. You know, my brother
- 1:56Speaker 1: and sister-in-law would send over, you know, some snack crates
- 1:59Speaker 1: from all over. So we would get a mix of things.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And most of the time they're stale. This should be fresh.
- 2:03Speaker 1: We've had it sitting around a couple of weeks. It
- 2:05Speaker 1: should be good. Should be fresh. Let's open this thing up.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Apparently there is a thing that says... How to make a...
- 2:13Speaker 1: How to make that. That might give it away.
- 2:15Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We got a blue piece of paper.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Interesting. Probably for that.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's for this craft. Yeah. And we'll let you guys
- 2:22Speaker 1: in there. Either way, welcome to... Well, that's what it
- 2:26Speaker 1: says first. Hey there, snack lover. My name is Austin,
- 2:29Speaker 1: and I put together your snack crate from South Korea.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Korea is full of unique options when it comes to snacks,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and their traditions around food are so cool. While I
- 2:42Speaker 1: know you'll learn and taste something new as you go
- 2:44Speaker 1: through this month's snack crate, I wanted to give you
- 2:45Speaker 1: a couple of landmarks. Make sure you don't miss them.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Love ramen?
- 2:50Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Well, now you get to try it for real.
- 2:54Speaker 3: The.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Poo-shoo, poo-poo-shoo, blah, blah, blah, ramen is eaten as intended.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Break it apart and season it with the packet. And
- 3:01Speaker 1: feel free to add some of it on your own
- 3:03Speaker 1: if you want to mix it up. For tea and
- 3:05Speaker 1: coffee lovers, the traditional Korean yukagwa and yugagwa snacks are
- 3:11Speaker 1: a perfect pairing. I'm pretty sure I'm not saying these right.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I'm also pretty sure you're not saying them right.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Pretty close, but it says it's finally summer, which is
- 3:17Speaker 1: weird because it's actual summer. Not summer here, but maybe
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's summer over there. I don't know. You can never
- 3:21Speaker 1: have enough trail mix. Try the wasabi almonds, the Korean
- 3:24Speaker 1: barbecue Cheetos, and some other spicy snack. Either way, Austin,
- 3:29Speaker 1: did you know you can customize your cake? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We're going to South Korea.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Pretty excited.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Pretty exciting.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Again, South Korea. This is going to be the book
- 3:40Speaker 1: of snack discoveries, culture, curiosities, and delicious adventures from South Korea.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So I'm going to keep this one handy. And again,
- 3:49Speaker 1: there is going to be some ruffles, some noises. Obviously,
- 3:53Speaker 1: it said that there was something from ramen. This looks
- 3:56Speaker 1: to me, I'll pass the postcard around, just seems generic.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure Austin really did this, but I
- 4:01Speaker 1: feel like Austin maybe packed a lot of snack crates
- 4:05Speaker 1: because it's not handwritten by any means. It's typed out.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Maybe it's generic. So maybe there is some ramen. Maybe
- 4:10Speaker 1: there is some Cheetos. I don't know.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 4:14Speaker 1: We're about to find out.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Yep, I guess we'll see.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So South Korea. When you think South Korean food, Isla,
- 4:20Speaker 1: what do you think when you hear South Korean food?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Churros.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's what you think, churros? I believe it's not South Korean.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Wait, never mind.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Like, spicy.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Spicy. I could go with that. What was the first
- 4:34Speaker 1: thing you think ramen? Is that where it was originated?
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I just know that ramen is an Asian food.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Where was ramen originally invented? Let's ask my phone. It
- 4:44Speaker 1: was China as a Chinese wheat noodle soup and was
- 4:48Speaker 1: later introduced to Japan in the late 19th and early
- 4:51Speaker 1: 20th centuries.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not good at geography, but those two are
- 4:56Speaker 1: pretty close. So either way, ramen, spice, that's what we're thinking.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And I'm just going to go with the first thing
- 5:01Speaker 1: that pops here. These are something I can't read.
- 5:07Speaker 3: They look like churros.
- 5:08Speaker 2: They do look like churros.
- 5:08Speaker 1: They kind of look like churros, and I was kind
- 5:10Speaker 1: of creeped out because I just opened this for the
- 5:12Speaker 1: first time. She thought churros, and we both were like,
- 5:16Speaker 1: you're crazy. Huh.
- 5:18Speaker 3: They kind of look like churros.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That is interesting.
- 5:20Speaker 1: So one thing I initially noticed is, like, they tell
- 5:24Speaker 1: you to open this way, where most American snacks open
- 5:27Speaker 1: this way. They're right out the bag, a little different.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'm going to grab this tear here, and we're going
- 5:32Speaker 1: to jump into these churros.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Curious question.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Oh, you lost one.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Curious question. Go for it, dude. Is.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Are those... Is this the place where, like, if it's
- 5:43Speaker 3: not the same size.
- 5:45Speaker 1: If what? If it's not the same size?
- 5:46Speaker 3: If it's not the same size on the packaging, then
- 5:48Speaker 3: they can get sued?
- 5:49Speaker 1: I don't know. We are not going to try to.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Oh, that's a different place.
- 5:52Speaker 1: We're not going to try to sue anybody.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I'm just curious.
- 5:55Speaker 2: This smells like a churro.
- 5:56Speaker 1: It does, too.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 5:58Speaker 1: This smells delicious, and I'm super excited. You guys can
- 6:00Speaker 1: jump into it. I'm excited, too. I'm going to talk.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We're not going to try to do mukbang or ASMR, so...
- 6:06Speaker 1: Try to get away from there, Isla. I'm very excited
- 6:09Speaker 1: because I think these shouldn't be stale. Like, these are fresh,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and we are going to save some for Meg and Avery.
- 6:14Speaker 1: They were just not here at the time of the recording, so.
- 6:17Speaker 2: This is pretty good.
- 6:18Speaker 1: This is fantastic.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Churro. Wow.
- 6:22Speaker 2: It's weird that Isla thought churro, and that is the
- 6:24Speaker 2: first thing you pulled out.
- 6:26Speaker 1: It is very weird. I wonder if they are in
- 6:28Speaker 1: this book.
- 6:28Speaker 3: They taste cinnamon-y, like cinnamon toast crunch.
- 6:31Speaker 1: This is crazy. And this is apparently... The favorite in
- 6:34Speaker 1: the book for mini snacks is the Korean churro bites.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Like a churro that got miniaturized and crisped up light
- 6:40Speaker 1: flaky layers coated with cinnamon sugar. All the carnival energy
- 6:44Speaker 1: without the long line. The snack takes inspiration from the
- 6:48Speaker 1: famous Spanish churro. So churros are Spanish. But it turns
- 6:52Speaker 1: it into a signature shape and sweet cinnamon flavor into
- 6:54Speaker 1: a crunchy bite-sized treat that becomes a beloved snack in Korea.
- 6:59Speaker 1: That is fantastic. It almost has like a smoky taste,
- 7:01Speaker 1: doesn't it?
- 7:02Speaker 2: I was thinking kind of like Fried.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Maybe that's what it is. Fried.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It seems like it's deep fried.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It's getting worse. The more that I chew it.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You want one more before we jump to the next one, Isla?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 7:12Speaker 1: No, you're good. I'm going to have one more of these.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I mean, they're good, but the more that you chew it,
- 7:16Speaker 3: the less flavorful it gets, and it just gets kind
- 7:18Speaker 3: of meh. It's good, though.
- 7:21Speaker 2: They're very crunchy.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Very crunchy and very good.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And what we'll do is at the end, we'll see
- 7:25Speaker 1: which one is our favorite. So right now, that's our favorite.
- 7:29Speaker 1: It's the best one. It's the only one.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Are you ready for snack number two?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I'm closing my eyes. I'm grabbing the first thing. Oh,
- 7:37Speaker 1: it's ramen. Apparently, I would think you would need to
- 7:41Speaker 1: cook it, but on this it says, don't boil it,
- 7:43Speaker 1: smash it. That's what it says on it, right? Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So we're not going to boil it. We're going to
- 7:50Speaker 1: smash it. I'm going to look in the book, though,
- 7:52Speaker 1: real quick, just to double check if that's what you do. Again,
- 7:54Speaker 1: I have no idea how to say that. Isla?
- 7:56Speaker 3: A kid?
- 7:57Speaker 1: How would you say this? Isla, go first. How would you?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Pushy. Be pushy. Be pushy, baby.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Pushy, pushy. No, push you.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Push you. All right, so on the back, I don't
- 8:06Speaker 1: even need to. There's how to enjoy. Take it out.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Take out the spices. Smash the noodle. Sprinkle the spices.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Shake and enjoy. Okay.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I just got a really strong smell of something.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Probably your breath.
- 8:20Speaker 3: No, it was like beefy.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Beefy. Okay, so I'm going to follow the instructions. I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: going to open this up. I'm going to take out
- 8:27Speaker 1: the spices.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Looks like a normal ramen.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Normal ramen, yes. So far, just a packet. But it
- 8:33Speaker 1: says it's a noodle snack. Take out the spices. Smash
- 8:37Speaker 1: the noodle.
- 8:38Speaker 3: That reminds me of a kid in my class who
- 8:41Speaker 3: would smash his noodles instead of cooking them. And then
- 8:46Speaker 3: he'd eat them throughout the day. Sorry. Just undid noodles.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I say we try a little bit before the spices.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I agree.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And a little bit after. So, Lo, I'm going to
- 8:54Speaker 1: pass it over to you again. Sorry. Everybody for the
- 8:57Speaker 1: loud noises. Looks like it.
- 9:01Speaker 2: It tastes like when I used to eat raw ramen
- 9:03Speaker 2: as a kid.
- 9:04Speaker 1: That was a big bite. I didn't want all that.
- 9:06Speaker 2: That was quite a large bite.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Good, not great. It's plain.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Brings me back to my childhood.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Okay, now we're going to put the spices in. It's
- 9:16Speaker 1: got to get better, right?
- 9:16Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I don't like it. I'll try it with the seasoning.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I just ripped it off.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Try this without making a mess. I guess this is
- 9:27Speaker 1: going to be a good way to get the beardless
- 9:28Speaker 1: studio vacuumed. My God, it smells just like beef ramen.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I'm quite excited.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Wasn't I right? I've been right for two times in
- 9:37Speaker 3: a row. I said it smells like beef.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Shake and enjoy. We're shaking. I'm enjoying. Shout out to
- 9:43Speaker 1: our friends over at Johnsonville. We've been eating a lot
- 9:45Speaker 1: of brats, a lot of sausage. Sausage 2026. That's their
- 9:49Speaker 1: new campaign. Go over to Johnsonville. Buy yourself some brats,
- 9:52Speaker 1: some sausage, some kielbasa. Isla, how do you spell kielbasa? Go, go.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Thank you. Thank you.
- 10:01Speaker 1: U-S-A. All right. I got stuff all over me.
- 10:06Speaker 3: That wasn't right, was it?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Not even close.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Not even close. All right. Apparently that's there. Isla, you
- 10:10Speaker 1: want a little bite?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Smells like when I used to eat it raw as
- 10:13Speaker 2: a kid.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I got seasonings all over. All right, let's do it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Is it better with spices?
- 10:18Speaker 3: It smells like, you know what it smells like? It
- 10:20Speaker 3: smells like beef jerky.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It tastes like beef jerky.
- 10:22Speaker 1: That's pretty good. Mm-hmm.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Wow. Mm-hmm.
- 10:27Speaker 1: So it's way better with the spices.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And I wouldn't even say spices, I guess, at this point. Seasonings.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I think it's pretty good.
- 10:32Speaker 3: But this, the smell of this, it tastes like a
- 10:36Speaker 3: Slim Jim, kind of.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Step into a Slim Jim.
- 10:38Speaker 3: And that smell, it tastes like beef jerky, but it
- 10:40Speaker 3: smells like a Slim Jim.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Does anybody else want another?
- 10:43Speaker 2: I do. Yes, please.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We're going in for seconds. And again, after the show,
- 10:46Speaker 1: we are going to eat away, snack, and we'll definitely,
- 10:49Speaker 1: we'll put Meg through trials and tribulations on it.
- 10:52Speaker 2: This is pretty good.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. I'm enjoying this, but it's definitely needed the seasoning.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I agree.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I'm saying, still say that Chiro's is in first place.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Do you agree?
- 11:02Speaker 2: I don't know. I like them both a lot.
- 11:05Speaker 1: So what we'll do.
- 11:06Speaker 3: They're both pretty good, but.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Pepper's in first. We'll just leave here for now. We're
- 11:09Speaker 1: saying they're both pretty good for now.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So. We'll put them as a tie.
- 11:12Speaker 1: We'll put them as a tie and see if anything
- 11:14Speaker 1: can break the tiebreaker. Here. I didn't check the book
- 11:17Speaker 1: for this. I mean, it's ramen. I mean.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Not that big of a deal.
- 11:21Speaker 2: It's delicious.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And I like that because it's a snack. Like, the
- 11:24Speaker 1: traditional ramen that, you know, they sell over here that
- 11:27Speaker 1: we get, typically you boil it, you throw it in
- 11:29Speaker 1: a bowl, you have it as a meal. Like, this
- 11:31Speaker 1: is made as a noodle snack.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Maybe the other ramen was supposed to and we just haven't,
- 11:34Speaker 1: but pretty good.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Pretty good.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Ready for three?
- 11:38Speaker 3: Yep.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Going in. First one in. I have no idea
- 11:41Speaker 1: what this is.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Ooh, they look spicy.
- 11:44Speaker 2: They do look spicy.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I was right.
- 11:48Speaker 1: They almost look like little cut-up spaghetti noodles on the package.
- 11:52Speaker 1: But then you look up top and it looks like
- 11:54Speaker 1: Vienna sausage. I'm not sure what we're going to get.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Let's open it up.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm quite excited.
- 12:00Speaker 1: They look like little... How would you describe that, Lil?
- 12:04Speaker 2: It kind of looks like a rice cake.
- 12:05Speaker 3: It kind of looks like dog treats.
- 12:08Speaker 1: One says rice cake. One says dog treats. Go right in.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Let's go. Your first impression gave me. You gave me
- 12:14Speaker 1: a look.
- 12:15Speaker 2: It's a little spicy.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Do I do the whole thing? Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Not really spicy.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Just a little. Burnt my tongue a little bit.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It's like another ramen snack.
- 12:22Speaker 3: I don't say this beats the ramen.
- 12:24Speaker 1: This isn't top two for me.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Me either.
- 12:26Speaker 3: It's getting worse.
- 12:28Speaker 2: But it has a little kick, but not a lot.
- 12:30Speaker 2: It's good. I wouldn't say it beats the other ones, though.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I don't love it.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I think it's like a ramen.
- 12:35Speaker 3: First one I've had to spit out.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I think it's like a ramen snack.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Good, not great.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And I don't have a water.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Nope.
- 12:42Speaker 2: It's my fault.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That's on you. Here, wash it down with a churro.
- 12:45Speaker 1: There we go.
- 12:45Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:46Speaker 1: You ready?
- 12:46Speaker 3: I was right three times in a row because I
- 12:48Speaker 3: said that that one was going to be beef. I
- 12:50Speaker 3: said churros and I said spicy.
- 12:52Speaker 2: A little spicy there, Matt?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Mm-mm. I mean, a little bit, but I just don't
- 12:57Speaker 1: love the taste. Mm. I see. I know. All right.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Go to four. I'm good. I'm not looking. This seems weird.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Interesting. Ooh.
- 13:06Speaker 3: It looks like an ice cream cone. Kind of good.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And it does. I have no idea what this is.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It's got watermelons on it.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I love watermelon.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Remember, let's try not to chew into the mic, please.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It's very loud. So not a big deal. Oh, these
- 13:19Speaker 1: are like little gummies. Little gummies. Imagine if they're not
- 13:24Speaker 1: good and they're spicy somehow. Here, Isla.
- 13:28Speaker 2: They smell like absolutely nothing.
- 13:30Speaker 3: They don't.
- 13:31Speaker 2: They do not have a smell.
- 13:33Speaker 3: They feel and look like a gumdrop.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Compared to them.
- 13:36Speaker 3: They look like a gumdrop. They feel different.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Compared to like American gummies.
- 13:41Speaker 2: They look like the vitamin gummies.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Kind of do. How's the taste?
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's quite good. It has a texture of a vitamin
- 13:47Speaker 2: gummy too, but it's good.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Very watermelon-y for sure.
- 13:51Speaker 3: I really like this one.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I wouldn't say top two.
- 13:54Speaker 3: I would say that that one beats that one.
- 13:57Speaker 1: And it's supposed to be sour. I didn't get any sour.
- 13:59Speaker 2: I got a little bit of sour. Can I have
- 14:00Speaker 2: another one? Yeah, you can have one more.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You want another one or no? No, thank you. I agree,
- 14:06Speaker 1: not top two. So I'm putting them down.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I like the way that it feels.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I would say it's above the last one, but below
- 14:13Speaker 2: the other two.
- 14:15Speaker 1: We have it as number three on our list. Those
- 14:19Speaker 1: rice cake things were number four. So let's keep it rolling.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Let's go on to number five. Look, mix them up.
- 14:29Speaker 1: That seems big. Let's go here. This seems like some
- 14:34Speaker 1: Peach yogurt gummies.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Ooh, those look good.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Those look good. They do look good. Nothing I've tried
- 14:41Speaker 3: yet other than those rice cakes are that bad, which
- 14:44Speaker 3: is different.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And the rice cakes weren't bad either.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I spit it out. I did not like it. And
- 14:49Speaker 3: I didn't like the texture either.
- 14:51Speaker 1: All right. Yogurt bites or gummies. Interesting. You're handing this
- 14:55Speaker 1: over to your sister.
- 14:56Speaker 3: They look pretty weird.
- 14:58Speaker 1: They do look a little weird. Interesting. Let's pop one
- 15:01Speaker 1: up here for the camera and the listeners. Lo, if
- 15:03Speaker 1: you could describe it to people.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It kind of looks like a bottle with it looks
- 15:08Speaker 2: like it might have a filling inside. A crayon.
- 15:11Speaker 1: What do you think going into it based on look?
- 15:12Speaker 1: What flavor?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Peach.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yes, peach.
- 15:15Speaker 3: It's a peeler.
- 15:16Speaker 1: It's a peeler?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Oh, it is.
- 15:17Speaker 3: It's a peeler.
- 15:19Speaker 1: What do you mean peeler?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Oh, no. I don't think it's supposed to.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I'm going to feel it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: That's good.
- 15:25Speaker 1: There's like a thing inside.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Kind of like a Juice, but not juice. It's thick,
- 15:33Speaker 2: but not gummy thick.
- 15:35Speaker 1: This is a rare snack. For any of those keeping
- 15:37Speaker 1: track at home, if you're into collecting things that are
- 15:39Speaker 1: rares and everything else, this is a rare snack. It's
- 15:41Speaker 1: a peeler. It's peach-shaped gummies with creamy yogurt flavor in
- 15:45Speaker 1: a jam-like center. It's sweet, it's fruity, and surprisingly smooth.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I agree with all of that. I don't think it's
- 15:54Speaker 2: a peeler, like Isla says, because the inside is way
- 15:56Speaker 2: too soft to be a peeler.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's not a peeler.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I have a felt-like appeal.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Do you want another one or no?
- 15:59Speaker 3: I do. I do. I just want a churro.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Okay, please.
- 16:03Speaker 1: All right, so pretty good. I'll have one more of these.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Your mom will really like these.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I think this might beat the ramen one.
- 16:12Speaker 1: So we'll put this as two, put ramen down, and
- 16:15Speaker 1: we'll have a churro and a yogurt peach so far.
- 16:18Speaker 1: You good with that, Isla? All right, so right now
- 16:21Speaker 1: we have the churro.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I'd still say that that watermelon one should be on
- 16:24Speaker 3: the ranking.
- 16:25Speaker 2: You're outnumbered for that one?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry about it. Sorry about it. The person that
- 16:29Speaker 1: spits out food doesn't get to chime in with higher votes.
- 16:33Speaker 1: All right, we ready for the next one?
- 16:34Speaker 3: Yep.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Closing my eyes. I don't know, this package just needs
- 16:37Speaker 1: to go.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It's almost like those little breadstick things or, yeah, Pockys.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I like the packaging. It almost, what's the first thing
- 16:45Speaker 1: that pops in your brain when you look at this? Firework.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 16:47Speaker 1: What about you, Isla?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Slim Jim.
- 16:49Speaker 1: That's what I was thinking. I was getting Slim Jim vibes.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's got the red, the yellow. The red. And it's got, like,
- 16:54Speaker 1: the red packaging.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I thought firework.
- 16:57Speaker 3: I mean, I see it, but I don't want to
- 16:59Speaker 3: copy you.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So you were thinking firework too?
- 17:03Speaker 3: Kind of, but I didn't want to copy. So I said.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It's a package within a package. If there's a package
- 17:09Speaker 1: within a package within a package, I'm going to be annoyed.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We're trying it. That's what the show is all about.
- 17:16Speaker 2: They look like Pockys.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Hand one of them over there.
- 17:18Speaker 3: They do not look like Pockys.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I don't love the smell of them. Yeah, not Takis. Takis.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I do not like the smell.
- 17:27Speaker 2: They're like a savory Pocky.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Tastes better than it smells.
- 17:32Speaker 2: They're very crunchy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they can hear us. They can hear me.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm back from the mic, but they're pretty good.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Surprisingly crunchy and surprisingly good for the smell.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah, not overly flavorful, though. Like, it almost just tastes
- 17:46Speaker 1: like a mix between a pretzel and a breadstick or something.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Like, they're good. I don't know if I'd sit down
- 17:54Speaker 1: and be like, this is my snack.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I think I would, but I'm also not a picky
- 17:58Speaker 2: eater at all.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I want one more. You want one more?
- 18:01Speaker 3: It's getting worse.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Getting worse? There's like no taste. How could you hate this?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Because it's not candy? I think they're pretty good. Do
- 18:08Speaker 1: I think they beat the churro or the peach yogurt? No.
- 18:13Speaker 2: No.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Do I think it beats the ramen? For me?
- 18:18Speaker 2: I would say below the ramen, but between the watermelon.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And for Isla's sake, she loves the watermelon. We'll put
- 18:23Speaker 1: it right after the watermelon.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Anything that Isla spits out, we can't, I guess, as
- 18:29Speaker 1: a group, agree that it's super good.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I've only spit out one thing, and it was the
- 18:35Speaker 3: rice cake.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Well, you didn't finish that one.
- 18:37Speaker 3: No? That one? No, I didn't.
- 18:39Speaker 2: No.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I ate a good couple bites of it.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Ate a good couple bites of it on a thing.
- 18:44Speaker 1: All right. We ready?
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yep.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Let's keep it rolling. Tell me when. When?
- 18:50Speaker 2: None.
- 18:52Speaker 1: There's only after this three other things. This is apparently
- 18:55Speaker 1: something great. Another gummy. Does Korea typically have a sweet
- 18:59Speaker 1: tooth or something?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Must be.
- 19:00Speaker 1: A lot of. These are the. I'm going to say
- 19:04Speaker 1: that this is apparently our favorite. And by our favorite,
- 19:06Speaker 1: the original snacks. This is the favorite. It is a
- 19:09Speaker 1: my gummy grape shaped like a like a bunch of grapes.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'll read it after here. Let me open it so
- 19:16Speaker 1: you guys can try it. And I'll read the description.
- 19:18Speaker 3: A bunch of grapes.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I mean.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Here, let me hand you another one. Isla.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I hate grapes.
- 19:22Speaker 1: You hate grapes? Boy, I love grape flavor.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I don't love grape flavor.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I was going to say. I like grapes.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Oh, this smells fantastic.
- 19:30Speaker 2: It smells super grape.
- 19:32Speaker 1: It smells very like it's going to pack a punch. Apparently,
- 19:35Speaker 1: it is shaped like a bunch of grapes, which it's
- 19:37Speaker 1: shaped like a bunch of grapes.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Well, I like the texture.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Soft texture. Leans more fruit jelly than traditional gummy. Could
- 19:44Speaker 1: you agree? I agree. You know a fun fact?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Very.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Want to hear a fun fact about this?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Grape-y flavored.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Want to hear a fun fact?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Grapes are one of Korea's most beloved fruit flavors, showing
- 19:55Speaker 1: up in everything from candies, sodas, and ice cream. Grape
- 19:59Speaker 1: ice cream.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Hmm. I'm not loving these.
- 20:03Speaker 1: The region even grows some of the most rare grape
- 20:06Speaker 1: types on the global market. I thought those were, it
- 20:10Speaker 1: started good for me, but then it kind of went
- 20:12Speaker 1: and tasted more like artificial towards the end.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I just don't love grape flavoring.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I said for the ranking, I say that we put
- 20:22Speaker 3: it above the little talky thing.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I would say below the talkies, pockies.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Right above the rice cakes?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Is that fair?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that could work.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Okay, still at number one is the churro, which I
- 20:38Speaker 1: still find it wild that of all the things when
- 20:40Speaker 1: we said what is South Korea known for, the first
- 20:43Speaker 1: thing we pull out and the first thing Isla says
- 20:45Speaker 1: is churro. And we laughed at her. We laughed at her, Lo.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Because it's not a Korean thing.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Koreans do have a lot of churros.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't think they do. I was into K-pop for
- 20:57Speaker 2: a long time.
- 20:58Speaker 1: You admitted it.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I promise you, they do. I've seen a bunch of videos.
- 21:02Speaker 1: They must because it made the snack bar.
- 21:04Speaker 3: And they dip it in chocolate.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Okay. They hit the snack crate, so obviously there's some
- 21:10Speaker 1: truth behind it. All right, we got three to go.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Anything that you're hoping for. Would you rather hope for
- 21:15Speaker 1: something a little more sweet, a little less sweet?
- 21:17Speaker 3: Peanut buttery.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I'm hoping less sweet because we have had a lot
- 21:21Speaker 2: of sweet.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Let's see if I can. I'm going to look on
- 21:23Speaker 1: the next ones. I'm not going to go blind.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I want it to be sweet, but I don't want
- 21:26Speaker 3: it to be salty. I want it to be a
- 21:28Speaker 3: light sweet, not too overpoweringly sweet.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Everything's a little bit sweet. Right. Right. Let's go with
- 21:35Speaker 1: this one. I think it's going to be the lesser
- 21:37Speaker 1: of the sweet. It's apple cookies. Those are good. Which
- 21:39Speaker 1: I've never heard of such a thing, but I'm not
- 21:42Speaker 1: mad about it. But apple doesn't... The apple doesn't fall
- 21:45Speaker 1: far from the tree, am I right? There is only one.
- 21:48Speaker 1: So here, we'll just break off the chunk.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's a soft cookie.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Those be looking pretty good.
- 21:53Speaker 1: We will try to save some for your ma. If
- 21:55Speaker 1: you want the more filling, go for it.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I'm quite excited.
- 22:00Speaker 3: I am too. This looks good.
- 22:03Speaker 1: It almost tastes like... Uh-huh. It's almost like... A moon pie.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Pop-tart vibes.
- 22:09Speaker 3: In my opinion, this is over the peach yogurt.
- 22:13Speaker 2: It tastes like a moon pie.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It's a pretty good quality cookie. I don't love the
- 22:16Speaker 1: aftertaste of it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Me either. It's kind of also like a fig bar.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Kind of, yeah. Let me see if I can find
- 22:23Speaker 1: what they talk about for this original snack. Apparently, there are...
- 22:28Speaker 1: Not too... I don't know if it's an orchid.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Everything that I love... That I love you guys. Or like, no, no, no.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Come on.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Well, we have different tastes, bud. So apparently they also
- 22:41Speaker 1: have like pineapple cookies and some other things. I don't
- 22:43Speaker 1: see the apple cookies in here.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I'm assuming it's probably the same as the pineapple.
- 22:48Speaker 1: No, they look much different. Like the pineapple is almost
- 22:50Speaker 1: like an Oreo style.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, you're right.
- 22:52Speaker 1: But either way, obviously it's an apple cookie. It's apples.
- 22:55Speaker 1: It's cookies. It's exactly as advertised. I don't hate it.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I don't love it. It's definitely not top two for me.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't even know where this lands. It's going to be,
- 23:04Speaker 1: I like the grape stacks better than this.
- 23:06Speaker 2: You can put it before the grape. I mean, after
- 23:09Speaker 2: the grape. I also like it, the grape swarm. No.
- 23:13Speaker 1: You just said, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's on record.
- 23:15Speaker 3: I wasn't listening.
- 23:15Speaker 1: So where would you personally, we're going to do rankings
- 23:17Speaker 1: real quick at the end. You can tell us your
- 23:19Speaker 1: top three. You'll tell your, then we'll do that. These
- 23:22Speaker 1: are just the, where we kind of have them. That
- 23:24Speaker 1: was pretty good. And again, we'll, we'll save it. We'll
- 23:26Speaker 1: have your mom. I'm going to try this one and
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'm going to save this other last one. Sorry. I
- 23:30Speaker 1: keep hitting the mic. I'm going to save this one.
- 23:33Speaker 1: The other one for last.
- 23:34Speaker 2: That's interesting. I like the packaging.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'm just thinking it's like gum.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I can't really see it.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I don't know what this is.
- 23:40Speaker 3: It looks like gum.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Looks like gum. Comes out like this.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Let's hope. I mean, do you want.
- 23:45Speaker 1: To investigate what it is first?
- 23:47Speaker 2: Either gum or taffy.
- 23:48Speaker 1: We're going to investigate.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I really hope. We should read it, though.
- 23:53Speaker 1: I can't read it. It's in Korean.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It smells like lychee.
- 23:55Speaker 3: What do you mean about on the paper? Because if
- 23:58Speaker 3: we swallow a piece of gum, that's not good.
- 24:00Speaker 2: That's definitely gum, I think.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Is it? Well, we'll try it and then spit it out.
- 24:04Speaker 1: It is what it is. Let me see. I don't
- 24:05Speaker 1: think there's anything in this book that shows what it
- 24:11Speaker 1: might be.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Oh, it's kind of dissolving.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, try one out. Here you go. Let me try
- 24:16Speaker 1: one out, too. Why not? It's like a strawberry yogurt
- 24:19Speaker 1: by the looks of the image.
- 24:20Speaker 2: It looks good. I actually don't think it's dissolving. I
- 24:23Speaker 2: can't really tell.
- 24:24Speaker 3: It's not pink.
- 24:25Speaker 1: We'll treat it as gum. Give it a little chew.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Spit it out. We got plates.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Oh, it's good, though.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It is really good.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Very hard.
- 24:34Speaker 2: It gets softer.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Kind of look like a Tootsie Roll, but definitely giving
- 24:38Speaker 1: gum vibes, huh?
- 24:39Speaker 2: I think it might be toffee or taffy.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Did it dissolve down or do I swallow it or not?
- 24:44Speaker 2: I don't know yet.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm not enjoying it.
- 24:46Speaker 2: I am.
- 24:47Speaker 1: I am.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Giving peach.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It's not.
- 24:50Speaker 2: It's definitely not gum.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Gum you would be able to blow a bubble with.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Mine is turning very, very soft.
- 24:58Speaker 3: I don't think gum usually comes out that hard at first.
- 25:02Speaker 3: It's usually a softer texture, and then it gets harder progressively.
- 25:05Speaker 1: What kind of gum are you chewing?
- 25:07Speaker 3: USA gum.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Mine is just progressively getting smaller and smaller.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't think it's gum.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It's definitely not gum.
- 25:14Speaker 1: That'd be a weird thing to throw. I don't think
- 25:16Speaker 1: you would consider gum a snack, right?
- 25:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 2: It's definitely some type of taffy. I like taffy.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't love it.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I do. I think it's very good. I do. I'd
- 25:26Speaker 2: say it's quite high on the rating.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Like what?
- 25:29Speaker 2: I don't really remember what's going on down there.
- 25:33Speaker 1: We have the ramen, the watermelon, those little breadstick things.
- 25:38Speaker 1: We have the apple cookie. We have those rice cookies.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And we have grape.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'd say it's her personally.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Over the ramen?
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Wow, okay. All right, last but not least, we have a.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Brownie. Ooh.
- 25:54Speaker 1: A cream cheese brownie.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Ooh.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I can't tell if Isla's face is there. She's still
- 26:01Speaker 1: chewing on that taffy. I thought that it was... No,
- 26:04Speaker 1: finish your taffy. It's fine. The brownie will be there
- 26:05Speaker 1: for you. Let me just give the camera a little
- 26:07Speaker 1: bit of a look. This looks fantastic.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I'm quite excited.
- 26:11Speaker 1: So we'll break off a little bit for you. Ah, go, go,
- 26:13Speaker 1: gadget arm. Here, break up a little. Oh, crap. Sorry.
- 26:17Speaker 1: For Isla.
- 26:18Speaker 2: That's all she'll eat anyways?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yep. And then we're going to save some over there
- 26:22Speaker 1: for Meg. Weird transition from the taffy to this, but wow.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Nice program.
- 26:28Speaker 1: That's pretty good. That's really good.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I like it a lot.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I like it. I like it a lot. What's that
- 26:33Speaker 1: movie from?
- 26:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Dumb and Dumber. I like it. I like it a lot.
- 26:37Speaker 1: What's your face looking like? Is that the taffy or
- 26:39Speaker 1: did you get some brownie in it?
- 26:42Speaker 3: I didn't get like any brownie.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I have a feeling.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Did you try it?
- 26:45Speaker 3: All right. Trying to wash it down with the taffy.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 26:53Speaker 1: So we took a trip to Korea for snacks. Let's do...
- 26:57Speaker 1: Our top threes. Isla, we'll start with you. What is
- 27:00Speaker 1: your top three?
- 27:02Speaker 2: I've been thinking about it real hard.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Okay, give us your three. Here, we'll put them back
- 27:07Speaker 1: all up while you're talking.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I meant not taffy, not taffy, not taffy.
- 27:10Speaker 2: So, um, the.
- 27:11Speaker 1: The what?
- 27:12Speaker 3: The little churros.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Churros are your three or your one?
- 27:15Speaker 3: My one.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And then... Okay.
- 27:18Speaker 3: The apple bite thing. That. Apple cookie. And then the little... Taffy's.
- 27:26Speaker 3: And then it would be probably.
- 27:27Speaker 1: The- The taffy?
- 27:28Speaker 3: Watermelon. Yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Well, you're only doing three. So you're going churros, apple, taffy?
- 27:33Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 27:33Speaker 1: These are your top three. Interesting. Lo, what's your top three?
- 27:38Speaker 2: I would say churros, maybe the noodles, and then taffy.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Taffy's staying home for here. And then the ramen chewable
- 27:49Speaker 1: noodle snack?
- 27:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 1: That's yours? So you guys have the same first and third? Mm-hmm.
- 27:54Speaker 1: For me, my number one is the brownie, then the churros, then, man,
- 28:01Speaker 1: I'm going to go with the peach. So this is mine. Brownie, churro, peach.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Pretty solid rating.
- 28:10Speaker 1: At the end of the day, we are all fairly similar.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think if we had to pick an overall winner,
- 28:16Speaker 1: it's a one or two. Seems like the churros are
- 28:20Speaker 1: a lock-in for the winner. I thought you guys would
- 28:22Speaker 1: like this brownie.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I didn't really love it.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Interesting. Well, we got all these snacks from South Korea.
- 28:30Speaker 1: We do have another one coming every single month. Not
- 28:33Speaker 1: sure what next month is. I tried not to see
- 28:35Speaker 1: which one this one was. Either way, it's a cool.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Not a sponsor of the show by any means. It's
- 28:41Speaker 1: something that we've bought. So we're going to just kind
- 28:43Speaker 1: of keep buying them.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Only one spit out.
- 28:47Speaker 1: That's not bad. And like I said, so what's that
- 28:49Speaker 1: order to come with? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine.
- 28:52Speaker 1: 10 things.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Good.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Not terrible. I can't remember exactly what it cost a month,
- 28:58Speaker 1: but it is what it is. What do you think? Overall, anything?
- 29:03Speaker 2: I think this is probably the favorite box that we've done.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Yes.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I mean, we've had so many other mixed boxes, so
- 29:08Speaker 1: it was kind of hard to.
- 29:09Speaker 2: But we have many, like, we've had the papers to
- 29:12Speaker 2: sort them out, so we have a general idea of
- 29:15Speaker 2: what comes from where, and I think this just has
- 29:17Speaker 2: the most light stuff in it.
- 29:19Speaker 1: This was good. I mean, I'm kind of excited, too,
- 29:21Speaker 1: because we got their favorite, which was the grapes, which
- 29:24Speaker 1: you didn't love. We got the rare snack, which was
- 29:26Speaker 1: the peach yogurt gummy. And then we got the highlight,
- 29:29Speaker 1: which was that noodle snack. I mean, the most unique
- 29:33Speaker 1: thing for me that I know I would have never,
- 29:34Speaker 1: ever tried would have been, you know, the way that
- 29:37Speaker 1: they did the ramen with the noodle snack, these little
- 29:39Speaker 1: rice cake. things that none of us liked your mom
- 29:42Speaker 1: your mom will end up probably loving them very unique
- 29:44Speaker 1: I love the packaging and I just love you know
- 29:47Speaker 1: trying food from other places that have better ingredients I'm
- 29:51Speaker 1: assuming can't read the ingredients but there's less on there
- 29:54Speaker 1: not overly chemically you know made and And what we'll
- 29:58Speaker 1: try to do, apparently this is some kind of project.
- 30:03Speaker 1: So maybe Lowe's going to tackle this. Or apparently it's
- 30:07Speaker 1: a two-player game. Yeah, right here. Players required to place a,
- 30:10Speaker 1: whatever this is, dadaki on a flat floor. The other
- 30:14Speaker 1: player throws downward. Oh, it's a game. So you, I
- 30:17Speaker 1: don't know. We'll look into it. Pretty cool that it
- 30:20Speaker 1: hit a game. There's a red, there's a blue. You
- 30:21Speaker 1: guys can try it out. There's a pro tip throw
- 30:23Speaker 1: with a fast downward motion hitting the edge of the
- 30:25Speaker 1: corner and create the best flip. So there we have it.
- 30:28Speaker 1: South Korea is in the books. We got some leftovers. Again,
- 30:30Speaker 1: we'll let the other girls try it out. And we'll
- 30:34Speaker 1: do it again next week. Probably not this next week,
- 30:35Speaker 1: but we'll come up with something, all right?
- 30:37Speaker 3: Yep.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You guys have anything else?
- 30:38Speaker 2: Nope, nope.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It's Sunday Funday at the time of the recording, so
- 30:41Speaker 1: we need to make sure we get some good snacks.
- 30:43Speaker 1: It's crockpot season. And I will tell you, you know what?
- 30:47Speaker 1: You're allowed to get in the fridge and bring some
- 30:48Speaker 1: of those to school so we don't throw it all away.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Except for Isla. I want you to stay out of
- 30:52Speaker 1: my fridge. We'll be back next week.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Take care, everybody.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Bye-bye.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Bye-bye.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Knock.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Who's there? It's the podcast you adore. Stay out of
- 31:01Speaker 1: my fridge.
- 31:02Speaker 2: We're back.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Ready to explore. Got a tale to tell. Gonna make
- 31:05Speaker 1: you laugh. Gonna make you smile. So buckle up tight.
- 31:09Speaker 2: It's gonna be all right.
- 31:12Speaker 1: We're diving deep into your fridge with secrets.
- 31:17Speaker 2: If you like the show, please take a moment to rate, review,
- 31:20Speaker 2: and subscribe.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It really does help the show to grow. Thank you
- 31:24Speaker 1: for listening.
