(1Cor.15:12-20; Ps.17:1,6-8,15; Lk.8:1-3) "Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep." This is the heart of our faith. This is the "Good News," the Gospel preached in our midst. This is our firm belief. Upon it all our hopes stand. Christ has been raised, and His disciples will follow Him. As surely as we accompany Him here in His mission on earth, so surely will we find ourselves in His presence in heaven. Dying in Him means rising in light.
