- 0:12exposure for you and. Your brand make sure you keep
- 0:15listening to today's. Host Planet podcast featuring
- 0:18Miles Hobson. He also talks AI, how you can
- 0:21run your rentals on autopilot, plus a very exciting dynamic
- 0:26pricing announcement from one of the world's biggest property.
- 0:30Management softwares. This is an episode.
- 0:32Not to be missed, Miles, thank you so much for joining us on
- 0:41the Host Planet podcast. Now I'm excited today because
- 0:44Host Planet and Hospitable have got a really big announcement to
- 0:48make and I'll let you do the honours so.
- 0:51Take it away. All right.
- 0:52I feel very honoured. Thank you very much, James.
- 0:54Great to be here. And yeah, so I think something
- 0:57exciting that we've kind of been working on in the background for
- 0:59a little while and we're finally ready to kind of announce and
- 1:01share. And we are working on Host
- 1:03Planet's next big e-book for release in September.
- 1:07And obviously hospitable teaming up with Host Planet on this one.
- 1:11And the focus this time is really going to be the Host
- 1:13Planet playbook. And the idea is that we want to
- 1:16get 30 property managers together and we want to hear
- 1:19their stories and what their top tips are for software, how they
- 1:24manage their business, how they work with owners, all the good
- 1:27stuff. And really the point is we want
- 1:29to showcase some of those amazing property managers out
- 1:32there in the industry and also obviously produce something
- 1:35that's an amazing piece of content that lots of people can
- 1:38learn from. And obviously, James as part of
- 1:40that, because we love a podcast episode, as is clear from this,
- 1:44and we're going to do a podcast episode with each of those
- 1:47property managers as well. So that's going to be some
- 1:49really exciting and interesting content where we're going to
- 1:51hopefully learn a ton of information from some expert
- 1:55property managers. Yeah, it's, yeah, really
- 1:58exciting. And it's going to offer like a
- 2:00really deep dive into the best property managers around the
- 2:04world. And we're trying to get and make
- 2:05it a really varied bunch, you know, some property managers
- 2:09who've got loads of rentals that they're managing, some maybe
- 2:12like a boutique few. And we're also opening it up if
- 2:16you'd like to be part of this. We're going to have stuff on the
- 2:19website where you can basically nominate, tell us your story.
- 2:22And then we're going to pick 30 people from around the world.
- 2:26And I think just just explain to us like what are the real
- 2:29opportunities for the property managers here in terms of like
- 2:31showcasing themselves and their brands?
- 2:35Yeah, for sure. So I think, you know, it's
- 2:37obviously your name is going to be featured, your brand is going
- 2:40to be featured in the ebook itself, which is going to be
- 2:43distributed to, I mean, thousands and thousands of
- 2:45people, I'm sure, and also obviously on the podcast there.
- 2:48And I think it's an opportunity for you as a property manager to
- 2:52really show that you are a thought leader and that you're,
- 2:55you know, at the forefront of the industry.
- 2:59You're not just, you know, one of the masses of just another
- 3:02property manager. You are the one of the ones that
- 3:04are really kind of pushing the direction of the industry and
- 3:07someone that you know can help an owner with their property and
- 3:12help them host or maybe yourself health manager and you can just
- 3:16educate others out there and maybe start some Co hosting with
- 3:19them too. So really I think there's tons
- 3:21of opportunity here from kind of a brand perspective, but also
- 3:24really kind of being seen as a leader in the industry.
- 3:27And who knows, maybe you'll get some other speaking
- 3:30opportunities off the back of it.
- 3:31And host planet is definitely growing its exposure, doing some
- 3:34fantastic events. So I'm sure that that's going to
- 3:37lend it to speaker opportunities with host planet potentially
- 3:41down the line and other industries.
- 3:42And this is going to be read by people from across the industry.
- 3:45So really an exciting opportunity for all hosts out
- 3:48there. They're wanting to potentially
- 3:50get involved. Exactly.
- 3:51Yeah. It's going to give you a lot of
- 3:52exposure. So if you've got a unique story
- 3:56to tell, head to the Host Planet website on the blog section
- 4:01there. There'll be an opportunity to
- 4:03tap in your details. What's going to happen is that
- 4:06we'll kind of come up with a shortlist over the next few
- 4:09weeks and then eventually we'll be contacting the people who
- 4:12would like to get involved in this.
- 4:14You're you will be featured in the ebook, which will be coming
- 4:18out in September, provided we've got enough time to write and
- 4:22design it. I'm not well, it's going to be
- 4:24it's going to be pretty tight, but it'll be, it'll be ready
- 4:26hopefully. And also we'll start working on
- 4:28the podcast episodes as well. And like all our resources on
- 4:33host planet, it's going to be a free ebook to download.
- 4:36So that means thousands of thousands of people around the
- 4:39world will see it and also Hospit Hospitable will be
- 4:42talking about it on their channels as well.
- 4:45And with the podcast, what we're doing now is lots of video,
- 4:48social media clips as well. So you'll get even more exposure
- 4:51when your podcast episode comes out with an episode across all
- 4:55the podcast channels on our website, on YouTube and loads of
- 4:58social media clips as well. So if you want to grow your
- 5:01brand, increase your exposure and just tell your story to the
- 5:05industry so other people can learn from it, you're not going
- 5:08to get a much better opportunity than this.
- 5:10Emails. No, definitely not.
- 5:12So please, I encourage you submit.
- 5:14Even if you're not sure if we accept you, there's a strong
- 5:17chance we could. So go ahead and submit.
- 5:20We want all kinds of property managers, so please get involved
- 5:24no matter how many number of properties you're managing.
- 5:27We're interested to hear from you.
- 5:29Yeah, 100% doesn't matter where you are in the world, how many
- 5:32properties you're managing. If you've got a unique and a
- 5:34cool story to tell and you're keen to kind of, you know, get
- 5:37your face out there, then please do get in touch.
- 5:41We're we're really excited to to hear from lots of property
- 5:44managers around the world and, and start that selection process
- 5:46going to be really, really exciting project.
- 5:50All right, fantastic. Well, we'll move on to stuff
- 5:52away from that very exciting e-book and podcast series that's
- 5:56going to be coming up 2025 live. Talk to me about what you're
- 6:01seeing so far in terms of trends in the industry and you know,
- 6:06you're talking obviously to house and property managers all
- 6:08the time. What are they dealing with and
- 6:11and what's what's really been going on at the start of this
- 6:13year? Yes, so interestingly, I
- 6:16actually just got off a podcast recording yesterday with key
- 6:18data and was chatting sorry to them about some of the trends
- 6:23that they're seeing particularly in the US and Canada.
- 6:26And Q1 has kind of been a bit topsy turvy, kind of depends by
- 6:31region, but something that they are seeing is kind of bookings
- 6:34are generally down and that has definitely been seen in Q2 as
- 6:38well. An interesting data point
- 6:41looking at the US market, April 5th, 2025 versus April 5th,
- 6:462024, bookings were down 20%, which is quite a staggering
- 6:51number, right? So occupancy in terms of kind of
- 6:54the current market climate with things going on in the US
- 6:58economy and around the world is, you know, a great concern.
- 7:02And we've also kind of in Q1, you know, did a survey, they
- 7:06have our own hosts and, and asking them what their kind of
- 7:09concerns were. And again, yeah, occupancy came
- 7:12out as kind of the biggest hurdle, the biggest challenge
- 7:14for them for the year ahead. So 57.2% of hosts saying that
- 7:19they're struggling to maintain, maintain, sorry, consistent
- 7:22bookings. And so that's going to be a
- 7:24really big concern for them in the coming year.
- 7:26And I'm sure that other hosts are hearing and feeling that and
- 7:29seeing that too. And I think part of that as well
- 7:32is pricing. And so 28.9% of hosts in that
- 7:37survey said that they are struggling to set pricing right.
- 7:40So I know a large majority of hosts are using dynamic pricing,
- 7:44not everyone is. We were at your Air Success
- 7:47event with you, James through the week and there was obviously
- 7:51some debate there on the effectiveness of dynamic pricing
- 7:53and trying to get it right for your market.
- 7:56But dynamic pricing can obviously be a key to kind of
- 8:00unlocking that growth and making sure you're getting that
- 8:03occupancy. So I think that's going to be a
- 8:05bigger focus for a lot of hosts throughout the rest of the year
- 8:08is getting that pricing right and hopefully getting the
- 8:11occupancy that they really want for their properties despite the
- 8:14potential for, you know, reduced international demand.
- 8:18Certainly for the hosts in the US, it might be more domestic
- 8:22travel, but we'll see obviously how that's going to affect the
- 8:25UK, the EU and the rest of the world as well.
- 8:29We can't predict the future, unfortunately.
- 8:30You know, there's kind of a wait and see at the moment.
- 8:34But hopefully, you know, we still have a positive year
- 8:36ahead. And hosts definitely though need
- 8:38to be thinking about how can they get that occupancy up and
- 8:41potentially as well, how do they differentiate from their
- 8:44competitors, right? How do they offer that extra
- 8:46level of personalization so that guests have that really kind of
- 8:49positive experience and are thinking about rebooking with a
- 8:52host again in in the future? How is the, the political
- 8:57situation in North America affecting hosts?
- 9:01Because we've got the situation between the US and Canada, while
- 9:05the US and the rest of the world with, with all the, the tariffs
- 9:08and the, I guess the uncertainty of not knowing where people
- 9:12stand. There's a lot of people around
- 9:14the world outside of the US are saying, I'm not going to travel
- 9:16to the US at the moment while, while stuff is going on.
- 9:18So I guess, yeah, like you said there, the house there in the US
- 9:21maybe need to focus on the domestic scene a bit.
- 9:25But yeah, what's what's sentiment like in North America
- 9:27at the moment? Yeah.
- 9:29So, you know, Canadian perspective here from the UK,
- 9:32originally based in Toronto for listeners that don't know that
- 9:35and probably can't tell I'm in Canada from my accent.
- 9:38And so, you know, there's obviously a, a certain
- 9:43perspective here in Canada and you know, unfortunately there's,
- 9:46there's quite a bit of anti US sentiment based on the tariffs
- 9:50and, and what's happening. And you know, certainly in
- 9:53Canada there's kind of a protectionist economy effect.
- 9:58And so Canadians definitely we're seeing that a lot of folks
- 10:02are trying to buy Canadian versus buy from the US and also
- 10:06plenty of people saying that they're cancelling their trips
- 10:08and not planning to go to the US and instead planning to go to
- 10:11the UK. So Europe and maybe just
- 10:14domestic travel and you know, we'll see, I'm not a political
- 10:20analyst and but we'll see what happens throughout the rest of
- 10:23the year. But I can imagine that in the US
- 10:25in particular, there's going to be a need to focus more on those
- 10:29driving kind of markets and those guests that are
- 10:32potentially going for a shorter length of stay, right?
- 10:34And you might not be getting as many international travellers
- 10:37that are coming for a week or two long and you might just be
- 10:40getting folks from, you know, the same state or the state over
- 10:44coming in for a couple of days for a shorter vacation.
- 10:46Obviously, there's probably some worry at the moment in terms of
- 10:49kind of the, the bigger picture for the economy.
- 10:51And I'm sure that some people are thinking about, you know, do
- 10:54I really need to go on that big vacation and, and do I need to
- 10:59tighten my belt a little bit and, and reduce the number of
- 11:01nights that I'm going for? So I think that hosts might have
- 11:03to be looking at, you know, their minimum length of stay and
- 11:06considering if it's currently, you know, too long and if they
- 11:10need to be kind of reducing that to make sure that they can still
- 11:12be getting bookings and, and filling up their calendar.
- 11:15How important is it for hosts in the current climate to be
- 11:19flexible in terms of the minimum stays and, and the price?
- 11:23Is it imperative really if you want to try, and I don't know,
- 11:26make sure that your occupancy is up to scratch and make sure that
- 11:28you're getting those bookings in?
- 11:30Yeah, definitely. I think you've always got to be
- 11:33aware of what's happening. I think at any time you need to
- 11:36kind of be listening to what's happening in the market using
- 11:40some tools that allow you to kind of look at, you know, your
- 11:43demand, your occupancy versus the rest of the market, and
- 11:45also, you know, your pricing versus competitors in your
- 11:49market and really adapt to that. Right.
- 11:52Again, you can't go off just what some guy says on the
- 11:55podcast. You really need to look at your
- 11:58market and what's happening with you and adapt to that.
- 12:01And that's always the case. But I think, you know, now more
- 12:04than ever where there's there's increased economic pressures,
- 12:08you know, folks need to be thinking on their feet and kind
- 12:10of just keeping any close to the ground to understand what's
- 12:13happening in their markets. House Tub is a top rated
- 12:16property management platform for short.
- 12:18Term rentals house Tub can help you increase revenue, improve of
- 12:22operations and ultimately. Save you time and money.

- 12:36automated messaging. Team management and expenses.

- 12:42Task and cleaning management and automated door locks.
- 12:46Host Hub provides A0 double booking guarantee 24/7 support
- 12:51with an average response. Time below 3 minutes.
- 12:53And a fresh and friendly interface.
- 12:55That is easy to learn and use. And right now, host of is
- 12:59offering a 14 day free trial to any host or property manager who
- 13:03would like to try the platform. Head to hostof.com/HCH.
- 13:08For further details, and you mentioned they're getting the
- 13:11tech tools right, so talk to us about Hospitable because you
- 13:14guys really pride yourselves on helping hosts to run their
- 13:18rentals on autopilot. So how do you help hosts achieve
- 13:21that? Yeah.
- 13:23So, you know, automation is obviously key for us.
- 13:27We were born out of simply smart messaging and automated replies
- 13:32really that has now grown to kind of all, all kind of
- 13:35processes involved in property management.
- 13:37And we're kind of a property management software that's kind
- 13:40of growing beyond just a property management software
- 13:42there and becoming essentially a super app involving lots of
- 13:45different tools to help you really kind of grow and save a
- 13:47lot more time. We estimate something around 25
- 13:50hours saved per month per host. It's kind of a difficult number
- 13:54to kind of nail down and it's a rough estimate for sure.
- 13:58So we have a lot of AI tools that basically allow you to
- 14:01automatically respond to guests and we can generate responses
- 14:05based on your knowledge hub, which is essentially a tool
- 14:09where you can upload a guide book, you can connect a touch
- 14:12day guide book to that. And we can really, you know,
- 14:15provide contextual answers to all manner of guest questions.
- 14:18And it's really based on your property.
- 14:20So that's kind of one of the key features that really helps hosts
- 14:23to save a lot of time. We do have lots of other AI
- 14:26tools such as guest summary, which allows you to quickly see
- 14:30what a guest does and doesn't like based on their past public
- 14:33reviews on Airbnb and really help you to tailor the guest
- 14:36experience there and do it very quickly.
- 14:38Right. It's there in the inbox.
- 14:39It's ready and easy to go and easy to see.
- 14:43And obviously that kind of inbox is it's unified across your
- 14:46channels, your calendars unified.
- 14:48It means that you can manage all of your properties across all
- 14:51platforms in one place, which is obviously kind of now becoming a
- 14:55standard, but making it seamless and making it user friendly is
- 14:59something that we are kind of really focused on.
- 15:02So as a company, we really focus on customer feedback.
- 15:06We regularly hold customer town halls and James, I don't know if
- 15:09you've been on one before, but they're an amazing event.
- 15:12And every two weeks we have public town halls where we
- 15:14basically go, this is what we worked on for the last two
- 15:17weeks. And we basically open it up for
- 15:19customer feedback. And it's, you know, there's no
- 15:22filter and guests on the event can ask us anything they want.
- 15:26And so if we're not doing something right, they can tell
- 15:29us. And we need to action that,
- 15:30right? If we don't action feedback on
- 15:32those public town halls, they're going to come back in two weeks
- 15:35time and they're going to say it again.
- 15:37And it's not going to look great for our brand image, right?
- 15:40Because you don't have to be a customer even to join those
- 15:42calls. You could be a potential feature
- 15:44customer, you could just be a competitor, they're spying in on
- 15:47what we're doing, or we could be a media person personality of
- 15:51some kind, right? So I think that's really key for
- 15:54us is kind of looking at ways that we can automate for hosts
- 15:57and really asking hosts how we can help them automate and save
- 16:02time to really kind of like say, put their business on autopilot,
- 16:06make things easier for them, save them time.
- 16:08Hopefully also save them a little bit of money so that they
- 16:10can reinvest that into their business and, you know, provide
- 16:13a better guest experience and potentially grow their property
- 16:16portfolio too. I have seen your town hall
- 16:19announcements. I think they pop up on on my
- 16:21LinkedIn feed every now and again.
- 16:23I would be delighted to to join one, of course.
- 16:25And well, especially if I if I got to talk about host planner
- 16:28for two minutes. Yeah, so, so yeah, happy to,
- 16:30happy to join those. In terms of like who, the ideal?
- 16:34Kind of target customer is for hospitable.
- 16:37Who are the hosts and property managers out there who really
- 16:39should be taking a look at your platform?
- 16:42Yeah. So I mean, we we're quite broad
- 16:44and so we really do work for self managers, Co host property
- 16:49managers. You know, historically we did
- 16:51start out and I think a lot of people when they think
- 16:53hospitable, they might think, you know, that that smaller self
- 16:56manager range of one to 10 properties.
- 16:59But we've really now built out our software to kind of be a
- 17:02great fit for everyone. And we now have, you know, owner
- 17:05statements and guest portals and rental agreements and we're
- 17:11bringing on security deposits pretty excitingly.
- 17:15I, I think depending on when this goes out, I think we've
- 17:17just released dynamic pricing and so built into the software,
- 17:21which is pretty cool and pretty exciting.
- 17:23So really, you know, the idea for us is looking for hosts that
- 17:27are looking to save themselves time, right?
- 17:30And and we're going to keep going back to that, but that's
- 17:33what we're focused on. It's people that are looking to
- 17:34kind of automate that potentially want to grow their
- 17:37business, but don't necessarily want to have to bring on new
- 17:41team members to do that. Or you know, I want to kind of
- 17:45focus on other parts of their business unless they're kind of
- 17:47the management and the guest management side of things.
- 17:50Maybe they want to focus on buying that next property and
- 17:52growing their portfolio elsewhere.
- 17:54Maybe they've also got a nine to five job, a W2 job kind of
- 17:58thing. Really we're there to kind of
- 18:01just help things be a lot smoother for the whole process.
- 18:05And we also see a lot of long term rental has actually come
- 18:10across landlords coming across to become short term rental
- 18:13hosts because it's scary and it sounds like a lot of work, but
- 18:17with a tool like hospitable, we can really save you a lot of
- 18:20time. So it doesn't have to have as
- 18:21many headaches as people think. And obviously, you can still get
- 18:24those greater returns in shop term rental versus long term
- 18:27rental. Fantastic and the dynamic.
- 18:29Pricing is to say brand new platform that Hospitable has
- 18:33created. Or are you teaming up with one
- 18:35of the other providers out there?
- 18:38Yeah. So we're collaborating with an
- 18:39expert in the industry on this. So, you know, they've got a
- 18:42wealth of experience, lots of data points that we can kind of
- 18:45pull from. But it is, you know, fully built
- 18:47into Hospitable and we've heard a lot of say in exactly how it's
- 18:51going to work for our customers. Again, it's listening to host
- 18:54feedback and figuring out what works for them and what they
- 18:57need and also making sure that it's actually built into our
- 19:00platform in a way that, you know, it works right and it
- 19:04works with the current setup. It's very easy to use, very,
- 19:08very friendly user interface. It's right there in your
- 19:11calendar. You can make tweets as you go.
- 19:13We show you why we've priced the property at the price we've
- 19:16priced it at. So you kind of know you can set
- 19:19your minimums and maximums. You can kind of be aggressive or
- 19:22conservative with your pricing. There's plenty of flexibility
- 19:25there and so that you can kind of have some control over it.
- 19:28But at the same time, we obviously encourage hosts to let
- 19:31the software do the work and it will definitely, you know,
- 19:35deliver great revenue for you and hopefully not just hopefully
- 19:39it will increase their occupancy too, which obviously, as we said
- 19:42at the start is a key focus for hosts throughout 2025.
- 19:47Exciting times then. And this is this is completely
- 19:50built in and will be part if you take a hospitable subscription,
- 19:54you'll you'll have the opportunity to to use this.
- 19:56And I guess if if you're already using one of the other dynamic
- 19:59pricing tools out there, I imagine it's integrated anyway
- 20:02you can pick which one you want to use basically.
- 20:04That's exactly right. So yeah, we're obviously already
- 20:07kind of connected with a ton of third party dynamic pricing
- 20:10tools and hosts are going to have that choice, right.
- 20:12So they can continue using whichever third party dynamic
- 20:15pricing tool they're using if they so wish.
- 20:18But I'm sure that many hosts will decide to switch across
- 20:21because yes, the dynamic pricing offering that we're offering is,
- 20:25you know, totally embedded, totally native and hospitable.
- 20:27So it makes it a lot easier to use, right.
- 20:30And we're managing the whole process of kind of that
- 20:33connection. And also yes, it's fully
- 20:36included in the price of all our plans.
- 20:39So no additional fee. I know something that that's
- 20:43great value add I would say, you know, that's again, a place
- 20:46where folks can be saving a bit of money and also again,
- 20:50reinvesting that into their business into growth.
- 20:53Fantastic. Yeah, well, check it out and
- 20:56nice for the hospitable users. I guess they can maybe get rid
- 20:59of one of their tech subscriptions if they if they
- 21:02think it's think it's something they should do.
- 21:05You mentioned that there's a, there's a lot of AI in involved
- 21:09in the hospitable platform and. Where?
- 21:12Where are things going? In relation to AI and you know,
- 21:15how do you see kind of your platform developing over the
- 21:17next year or so? Yeah, for sure.
- 21:20So I think AI is getting to the point where people are trusting
- 21:24it more and more, right? There's still that concern over
- 21:27hallucination and AI making up stuff by property and telling
- 21:32guests the wrong thing. And you know, we definitely know
- 21:34there's some house that kind of scared for AI to kind of be on
- 21:37autopilot. We're slowly moving towards
- 21:40that, where House have that option of turning AI on or off
- 21:45in terms of kind of that autopilot setting, right.
- 21:47So when we first started out, it's very much AI as an
- 21:50assistant and it's going to draft things for you.
- 21:52It's going to kind of give you a suggestion of the best response
- 21:55or it can redraft something that you've already put in a message
- 22:01you've already kind of put some bullet points into.
- 22:03Now moving towards though is kind of we've learned so much
- 22:06and we've kind of put inputted so much information into those,
- 22:10you know, language learning models.
- 22:12That's basically we're very confident at the point now of
- 22:16the confidence in those messages and how often we get it right
- 22:19first time. So we have now done an autopilot
- 22:24feature and slowly but surely we're going to kind of increase
- 22:28the ability of that autopilot, right?
- 22:29And in which circumstances it can step in for you and acting
- 22:33your behalf. Again, we're kind of giving
- 22:36hosts the option on that and like the some control, but
- 22:40that's going to become more and more prominent.
- 22:42I think having AI do a lot more stuff for you and really letting
- 22:47it do that, right? We want to get to a point where
- 22:50our copilot feature, which is essentially where you can kind
- 22:53of talk to our platform and tell it to do things with your
- 22:56calendar and make adjustments. We want to move to a point where
- 22:59essentially copilot is how you interact with hospital, right?
- 23:04The the dream is that we, you know, we almost have a hotline
- 23:07where you can just call hospitable copilot and be like,
- 23:10Oh, I need to adjust my calendar because there's some big
- 23:15festival coming up kind of thing that I've just heard about and
- 23:17make sure that my minimums are set accordingly kind of thing.
- 23:20And and I block out some time in my calendar for the owner that
- 23:23wants to come and stay kind of thing.
- 23:25And it hears all those different action items and it just goes
- 23:28and does those for you in your calendar.
- 23:30But it also does the the knock on effects, right?
- 23:32So the, the cleaning calendar needs to be adjusted.
- 23:36It automatically doesn't does that, you know, the reporting is
- 23:39updated to kind of inform the owner of that, like they've got
- 23:43their block scheduled in there. So really, yeah, we're kind of
- 23:47moving towards that. Yeah, autopilot and, and really
- 23:50kind of being, you know, letting AI do a lot more of the work for
- 23:55you for sure. There's going to have to be like
- 23:58some checks and balances in there to make sure it's it's
- 24:01behaving right. But we're doing it in a way that
- 24:04we're, we're very confident of, you know, building towards that
- 24:07in a way that basically make sure that we're very confident
- 24:11in those responses and those actions before it's just let out
- 24:15into the wild. And again, hosts can have their
- 24:18own individual input on it, but I think that the majority of
- 24:21hosts will see how amazing it is and we'll be very confident in,
- 24:24you know, hospitable and hospitals AI ability to kind of
- 24:27go and do those tasks on their behalf.

- 25:05playbook and podcast series. We've just had the exciting
- 25:08dynamic pricing announcement. Anything else that Hospitable's
- 25:11working on this year? Wow.
- 25:14I mean, is that not enough for you?
- 25:15James is enough, actually, yeah, No, We do have a few more things
- 25:21at the back, though. I won't go into detail on
- 25:23everything. You've got to join a town hall
- 25:25to get the real big scoop from us, of course, but we do.
- 25:29We are working towards kind of a marketplace offering as well.
- 25:31We want to really be a hub for all things shops and rental for
- 25:35you. So you know, a place to go to
- 25:37find cleaners, a place to go to find, you know, virtual
- 25:40assistants if you do want a bit more helping hand from real
- 25:44people, because I know some hosts do.
- 25:46And also we want to kind of be a hub for even finding a property
- 25:49manager or a maintenance person, right?
- 25:51And maybe you're a self manager that's just decided that, OK, I
- 25:55want to find a property manager that's trusted by hospitable and
- 25:58there's a platform inside and out that can help me manage my
- 26:00property. We want to be the place you can
- 26:02find that person. And likewise, if you if the
- 26:05boiler blurrics or your air con goes out or a pipe burst, we
- 26:10want to be able to quickly kind of recommend and find someone
- 26:12for you. And you know, even be in a
- 26:14position where AI could potentially do that for you,
- 26:17right. Again, if a guest messages
- 26:19saying, oh, the air con broke and anything AI should be able
- 26:23to go and find an available maintenance person to come along
- 26:27and even maybe even book the appointment for you to get them
- 26:30to come out and make sure it's at all before you've even had a
- 26:32chance to see the message from the guest.
- 26:35So again, kind of moving towards being like that central hub and
- 26:39hopefully delivering an amazing guest experience at every stay.
- 26:43Yeah, and and lots of value for the industry as well.
- 26:46Sounds absolutely fantastic. Everything that's in the
- 26:49pipeline. All right then.
- 26:50Miles, we've got a. Few questions to finish Favorite
- 26:55brand in the STR space, apart from hospitable, of course.
- 26:59So well, this is going to sound like you paid me to say this,
- 27:02but I, I want to say host planet.
- 27:04I think what you've done with the, the launch of the brand is,
- 27:07has been fantastic. It's fantastic to see it finally
- 27:10come to life. I've obviously got a sneak peek
- 27:11of it a few weeks early and it's fantastic to see it.
- 27:15I'm loving the new swag and it's a really exciting time for host
- 27:18planet, I think, and it's going to be great to see you know,
- 27:21where you go and, and how you grow beyond your current reach.
- 27:25Exciting times ahead for his planet, I think.
- 27:27James, thank you so much. Yeah, we, we certainly think so.
- 27:30And yes, I am branded to. I won't use the bad the bad
- 27:34word, but yeah, I'm I'm a lot branded.
- 27:37Next question then, an individual in the STR space
- 27:41you'd like to give a shout out to and why?
- 27:44I won't say you, James. I've already said his planet.
- 27:47So I'm actually going to say Amy Davison, who is our account
- 27:51manager at Abode Worldwide. So Abode do a fantastic job for
- 27:55us in terms of kind of our press work and kind of getting our
- 27:59name out there. Abode, I'm sure for many vendors
- 28:03in the industry is a very well known term, a very well known
- 28:06name. And really, yeah, Amy is kind of
- 28:10a fantastic partner for us and has helped us to grow so much,
- 28:14kind of really helped be the voice of hospitable with press
- 28:18contacts and kind of getting our story out there, really helping
- 28:21to position us as the go to brand and a brand that is
- 28:25growing. So yeah, that is the person I
- 28:28would nominate. And yeah, Amy, Amy does an
- 28:32amazing job. And actually Amy organised the
- 28:34podcast interview that I did with Pierre Camille from from
- 28:39hospitable. So yeah, this this is where it
- 28:41all started. Thanks to thanks to Amy and and
- 28:43the brilliant team about finally then we've kind of already
- 28:48covered this, but let's let's sign off in style.
- 28:50The number one reason why hosts should apply to be part of our
- 28:54amazing e-book and podcast series.
- 28:58Oh, number one reason. I mean, it's, it's why not is
- 29:01the big question, right? And how can you figure that out?
- 29:04I think really just the wide exposure that you're going to
- 29:08get from this, right? It's going to be a free
- 29:10resource. The podcast is going to be free
- 29:13for folks to listen to you, right?
- 29:14So it's going to be opening you up to so many people and really
- 29:18getting your name, your brand name out there.
- 29:20So it's just it's, you know, all of this one, why not just go do
- 29:24it and sign up, tell us that you're interested and maybe
- 29:28you'll be picked. Yeah, exciting times ahead.
