- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: My family thinks I'm crazy.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_02]: Podcasts where I, your host, try to give you some tips on how you can explain all this weird, wild, crazy conspiracy stuff that the people you love most.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's what I've been trying to do for the past ten years with no success.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_02]: Now they don't want to listen.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to hear it.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're just like, oh, here we go, Mark.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Off again.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's the thing about all I've asked.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: I had just kind of come to this point of my life where I was like, you know, I...
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Either you're real or you're not.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not my job to prove anything.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: So it's your job to show up and prove you.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I sat down in my bedroom and I said if you've got something to say, why don't you just say it?
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I sat there for a few minutes and I felt so incredibly stupid.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're just asking God to talk to you, like, how dumb is that?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: and then I sat there and there was this voice that I heard in the room and it just sounded like rushing water talking about how much I was loved and how I wasn't alone and how my life circumstances had led me up to this moment where I would realize that he and I were the thing that wouldn't fail.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I, you know, I got really mad and angry because I was like, nobody talked to me about this.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if this is in the Bible, so I'm like emergency dial the charismatic friend.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, God just talked to me and she was like, what did he say?
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm telling her and she's like, well that's something.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: You just heard today's guest, visionary seer and host of the podcast, Mary for the ages, who joins me, Mystic Mark, here on the my family thinks I'm crazy podcast.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: They give a tuning in and enjoy this conversation with Mary a more.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the my family.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think some crazy podcast.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: Joining me today for the first time is somebody who I think this was one of the synchronistic connections that happened through the podcast and unfortunately sometimes I forget how those come about.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe she will
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: Help remind me, but Mary, Mary, a more joins us today who's a seer and somebody who has done a lot of fascinating research into some topics that we're going to get into today, particularly in the realm of spirituality, which is our own website and podcast.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mary for the ages.com is where you can find more about that, but without further ado,
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: Mary, tell us about you, tell us about what you do.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's a pleasure to have you on the show.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, thanks, Mark.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really happy to be here with you.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think we've tried to record this at least three times now.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: And then you texted me today.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought it was next Friday.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm in Paris.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: So I was like, murdered.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I gotta get on the subway.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, thank you for making it.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm just really excited to be here.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think I found your podcast a while back and I just really love the title.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest, I resonated.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: Really, really deeply.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I just so appreciate what a deep while you are.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's like your a geyser of like research and information.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: And I just really feel like you carry so much peace.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you really help people navigate murky waters with calm and clarity.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm just happy to be here with you.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_02]: Well, enough about me.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: That was very kind of you to say.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us about what you do and what's going on with your podcast and your website.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I, well,
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: Just not to, well, I mean, we might as well just jump in the deep end.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I grew up seeing things in the spiritual realm.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was really normal.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: I thought everybody was like this.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, you know, that this was.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: just a normal part of life.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: And when I was three, I grew up, I was telling you, in North Georgia, some of you may hear at Trace of an accent, but you know, I'm trying to train it out of myself.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: But I grew up in North Georgia and one of three, I had a vision of Jesus and he walked into my backyard and knelt down in the grass and said, you know, hey, can we hang out?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Can can I say with you?
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I knew it was Jesus and I just really liked his vibes.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: I said yes and that was kind of the first introduction that I had into the spiritual realm and into the Sierra realm and just really beginning to like see and comprehend the spiritual realm around me but you get older and you find out that that may or may not be something.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: that people see as common even if I see it as common in normal.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's where we get into my family thing some crazy bit.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: But that's I've been in the last couple of years.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: I went to seminary and I got a master's degree in theology.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_01]: I studied protocol interpretation of the Old Testament, which is a mouthful.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man, I decided in the last couple of years I really felt called to start writing about more of my experiences online and making a table for people that maybe they're having these spiritual experiences and no one has ever seen or validated it.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: And also I just think we're in a time where the spiritual realm the veil is getting really thin.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: So I think it's really important to start
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: writing about that to calmly discuss experiences and to help people have a framework for the world that we're living in.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, so take me back to that young age when you had this groundbreaking vision and was that the first of many was that the biggest that you remember like what how did that come about?
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've had stayed for me.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was the first submeni.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I now am in a cry.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, if you read my blog or podcast, you'll see a lot of really crazy
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: I call it, I'm from the South, everything's hitting any, it's just like hitting any spiritual experience and whatever.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: But for me, my relationship with Jesus has always been the rock bottom of who I am.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's my true north, it's my home base, it's what I return to.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I just remember seeing
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: at the time it was three so he was a lot taller than me just this white robe but like not over there's a light but it wasn't you know overwhelming it was enough for me to look and see like a man with kind of long dark hair and really kind eyes and a big nose and hands that
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're tracing the dirt that I was playing in.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I would say it was the first to many, but I actually really went through a long period of gaslighting myself into believing that that wasn't a real thing.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: And in my early twenties, I had an encounter with Jesus again that really kind of turned my world on its head and set it on its ear.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: and really shifted a lot of things in my life really, really quickly.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so there was just this return to what I knew and this return to the person that I know and that I love.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for sharing all this with us.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's such a powerful feeling and I don't blame you for crying because I moved to tears often when I think about, you know, where this is affected my life and somebody who, you know, in a way I can relate and in another way I can't relate because I haven't had such a profound vision.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: But let me ask you, you know, people often
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: say kids young people have you know a wider faculty wider perception right so was this part of the gaslighting like as you got older and maybe less open as we do as we get older you know was there's part of that like people telling oh that was just your imagination as a kid honey don't don't put too much into that but yeah you knew deep
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: because otherwise you wouldn't call it gaslighting, right?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I take me through what was going on in your head there because our families often don't help in this stage of growing up and opening our awareness, right?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: Especially if they think we're crazy.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, and you know, there was a lot of
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: I would say make sure going on in my life experience.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, raise in the American South point to a church.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm here.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: I know I've met Jesus and I'm hearing us talk about Jesus on Sunday and I'm just trying to put two and two together because one of these does not sound like the other.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm just, you know, trying to do math and, you know, I know that God is speaking to me.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_01]: I was not raised in a charismatic environment whatsoever.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I was not raised in a castle.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, I was raised the exact opposite.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: I was raised the satinist, which is kind of a strain of religious thinking that says, you know, hey, we've got the Bible now work good.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need any of the spiritual stuff.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so that was how I was raised.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: God doesn't speak.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's no visions, there's no dreams.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Your best chance is to open your Bible and maybe something will jump out of you.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so to say that I was having an experience that was outside my cultural and sociological box was an understatement.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, wow.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: I've never heard it put that way, but that's that's very much like what I experienced with canolicism and which is interesting because there are segments of Catholicism where that's not the case where there's big belief in saints and possession and all this other stuff, right?
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: Catholicism isn't uniform in that way, but secularization of religion is definitely what I'm hearing from that.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know what denomination you were a part of, but yeah, that is very reminiscent of what I kind of grew up with, where it's like, yeah, all that stuff is in the Bible, God doesn't exist outside of that, right?
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like other things.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: and creating everything and seeing everything you do is word only exists in those books that you gotta buy from the church.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's really sad because they're teaching a closed system theology where there is no supernatural intervention and the only supernatural intervention is bad.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, as an adult now, I read John one where it says that, you know, in the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_01]: And without him, nothing was made, that was made.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand that vibrationally, that God is holding the atoms of our world together.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand that we're not living in a close system.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand that you can't get very far without running into the word.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: But I was taught that God kind of created this mound of dust and left us defend for ourselves.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: And he might zap us on occasion.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: But he sounded a little bit more like Zeus than maybe
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe someone who is loving your kind.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_02]: I resonate with that what you just said.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's part of my approach with this podcast is trying to navigate what has been politicized and, you know, reduce down to certain categories in our culture.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: There's so much broader than that.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: And unfortunately, you know, when we're young, when I was young, I was taught, you know,
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's sort of other idea about God and science, and that kind of skewed my life for a few years.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm grateful that I've found my way back into an understanding that there is a creator.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that is sort of fundamental to most of the world's philosophies that are worth anything.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: And when you start to wake up to that, you're like, oh, wow, there's so much more to this than
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: There is this whole world of science and academia, not all of academia, but yeah, it is interesting.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: So with this period in your life where there's sort of questioning the validity where there are smaller experiences, dreams, little instances that kind of kept you going, what are some examples of that?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I just kind of the watershed moment came when I was about twelve and I decided that this was my imagination.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: I was shutting it off.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: There was just too much pressure from the environment that I found myself in to, you know, kind of as a child, I felt like I had to pick.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, can I survive in this system?
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Or can I have Jesus and, you know, that's kind of a false double bind that I look back as an adult and realize now, but, you know, I got really hardcore into apologetics in my
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: High school years, but I would still keep having dreams.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: And it would be really interesting because I would dream things before they would happen.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes I would go out in public and I would watch a scene.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_01]: play out in front of my eyes and I'd realize that I dreamed the whole thing the night before and there was just that like there's little nuggets where it was like you know the taff on the shoulder like
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're not gonna forget about this.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you're not gonna forget.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I just remember even like having people around me that would like really talk to me about how God spoke to them.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: And they would really try to normalize that for me.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: And even though I wasn't having it at the time, I was like,
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: that's all imagination.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: I've already made that decision, like, we're good with this.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't need to engage with this any further.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's just, I think about, I think about Jesus is he is extremely persistent.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's not pushing, but he kind of like tails you a little bit.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: And at least that was my experience, you know?
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so leading
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: through my twenties I got really burned out on religion and I got really burned out on trying to figure out systems of thought and so I for about a year I was in a Buddhist one-world religion kind of yoga studio was doing a lot of practicing had some interesting encounters and then in March, two thousand sixteen on Easter I had a
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: pretty wild encounter with Jesus that kind of turned my life on its head.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us about it.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into that.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was, you know, I would just kind of come to this point of my life where I was like, you know, I
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: Either you're real or you're not.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not my job to prove anything.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: So it's your job to show up and prove you.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I sat down on...
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: In my bedroom and I said if you've got something to say, why don't you just say it?
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I sat there for a few minutes and I felt so incredibly stupid.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, you're just like asking God to talk to you like how dumb is that?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then I sat there and there was this voice that I heard in the room and it just sounded like rushing water talking about.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: how much I was loved and how I wasn't alone and how my life circumstances had led me up to this moment where I would realize that he and I were the thing that wouldn't fail.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so I, you know, I got really mad and angry because I was like nobody talked to me about this.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if this is in the Bible.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like emergency dial, the charismatic friend.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: God just talked to me and she was like, well, what did he say?
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm telling her and she's like, well, that sounds like I'm like, and then I'm so angry because in my mind, nobody has ever told me that this is real.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I'm just like, I've got to find this in the Bible somewhere.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to find this in the Bible because that's all I knew was, you know, if it didn't happen in the Bible, it ain't real.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's Easter.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I had left my marker.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: I hadn't run my Bible in years and years.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I had left my marker at the Easter story.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I flipped it open.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh, that's interesting.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the one in John where Mary goes to the tomb to find Jesus.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: And she can't find him anywhere.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: And she's walking around in circles, looking for him.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: And he walks up behind her.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I've been here the whole time.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that's when I lost it and started crying.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: And then the power of God came into that room in a way that was
- 21:14[SPEAKER_01]: pretty spectacular.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: And it really felt like my body was going to split down the middle.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Is the best way that I can describe this.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: And the words of Isaiah were coming into my mouth like, holy, holy, holy.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: You are so holy.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: I have a person of unclean lips and you are very holy.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I sat there.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I think of my die.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so I said that out loud.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_01]: I said I think you're going to kill me.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: And the presence pulled back.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so I went to bed that night.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Real shook.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so I creep out of my bed the next morning.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, I wonder if he would talk to me again.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so I went out on my porch and I asked some questions and I heard some answers and that's kind of how we got off to the races.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: What made you feel
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: compelled to say those exact words, I think you're going to kill me.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_02]: Was this like confronting your own sort of, you get what I'm sort of leaning towards?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was sort of reflecting your emotions at you in a way.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: There was a weight in that room that
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: was very, very heavy and it wasn't bad.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was just very courier and powerful.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: And physically it felt like my body was going to split.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like because I mean, you know, in
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: in our world we call that a frequency and it wasn't a frequency of fear.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: It was just like whatever's happening is altering me molecularly and I could feel that in my body.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: It was just, there was just a power that was in that room that was very marking.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_01]: But as you said, I was raised with angry Zeus God, so that's a really insightful reflection that I hadn't thought of before, you know.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_02]: In this moment when you ask yourself, well, would they talk to me again?
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: Would he talk to me again?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: What was the first question that you asked?
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: I asked him the significance of my name.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_02]: Mary.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: Within I. Yeah.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_02]: Tell us about that.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_02]: Is that something you're able to share?
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I think, you know, Mary, among other things means beloved.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: And there was a sense in which I was carrying a lot of rejection.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I knew what the name meant, but I didn't believe it.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: And there was just a simple moment where, you know,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: When identity is spoken, like, from God, it changes things.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: And so, just in that moment, like, hearing my name reflected back to me and saying, no, this is what I've chosen for you.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: This is well-suited.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like that lands a little bit different.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: makes me wonder about my name.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: Mark.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's biblical.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think Mark is a. You know what I'm what's kind of coming to mind, Mark is that you are marked.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like there is like that weight.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: on your own life, I think is really profound.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I think there's, you're not the odd man out.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: You're somebody that's been chosen.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: You've been marked.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: You've been set aside.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I also think about, you know, John Mark in the Bible.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: He was always sort of like a secondary character.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that might have been like the past, but I feel like you're moving more into like Mark who wrote the Gospel of Mark and it's
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: all about like actually the supernatural and documenting what Jesus did, particularly with darkness.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like there's really something profound about your name and what you do now, which is documenting what light does against darkness.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that tracks in some ways.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know how you feel and I'd love to know your technology, but as far as my astrological houses go where my planets are, I've been told that I have a lot of, you know, like Pluto and Scorpio and like the sort of
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: people tell me like that's part of why I'm interested in the occult the underworld but I'm not the type of guy who likes to wear black or like you know I don't appear like gothic you know like that's not my right and also it's a little bit of like a strange kind of thing and that resonates with me because
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: that's really what my focus is is not the darkness it's like how we can bring light shit light on those topics and it really clear out all that mold and that funky just like the sunlight does when you rip a roof off an old building
- 27:40[SPEAKER_02]: you know what I mean like it's the sun cleanses things and brings things back to the way it should be you know so that's my approach with with interest in this stuff and it's come up in the past with different you know people that I'm connected to where they're like oh well why why would you look into that you know for example skull and bones and
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: I do feel trepidation because it's something close to home.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like I'm, you know, talking about communist China and I'm, you know, I have the safety of being an American citizen if that even counts for anything.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's like, you know, right, right down the road, so to speak.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: And here I am trying to expose what I can learn about it to all the, listen to the podcast.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: So I love that.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for sharing that.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let me ask you this because I don't know much about the Virgin Mary, but certain things that I've talked about and learned through this podcast, I have heard that there's a sort of deemphasis these days.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_02]: on Mary, and then church tends to be more patriarchal or masculine in the sense that they very much put the focus on Jesus, Joseph, and these other male figures.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I think
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think in some of the circles I'm running in, there is actually a switch back to seeing the feminine in leadership and in guiding the church and in sacred spaces.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: But what I'm really loving is seeing the masculine and feminine together in the sacred spaces.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: I can tell you right now.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I grew up.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: There was definitely a DMVs.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_01]: I was not allowed to pray aloud in front of a man until I was about twenty-two.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how far back I had to work my way for now I talk on the internet.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like, wow.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that was definitely wiring.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's very hard for me to relate to.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't grow up with many people, at least that I was aware of who were in such a restraint, religious or otherwise.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: But wow, that's, yeah, that's pretty interesting.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, I think I was raised in a more controlling religious environment.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I have dear friends that have come out of that environment and just watching them, I'm picked with scars and the pain.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know in my own life it was
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot of religious trauma.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: There was spiritual trauma on a count of experiences that I've had with darkness and other, but I separate that from religious trauma, which is just the inability to separate someone's interpretation from what God might actually be saying.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I think
- 31:15[SPEAKER_01]: Religion is always after control without fail and that's like that's your tell right there.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's always about control and manipulation and it's not about seeing, you know, sons and daughters be free.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I think, you know, with my name, it's a common name, but I love that Jesus was always surrounded by Mary's.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm really happy to be one in a pack.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I also really love that, you know, all the marries were defined by their proximity to Jesus.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you had the one that found him at the tomb.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: You have the one that washed his feet.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_01]: You had the one that he was best friends with with lads.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: Or as you got the one that gave birth to him, you know, it's sort of a whole pack of marries.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: And then there was like a few additional ones like Mary, the wife of Clopus.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: And apparently we don't even have time.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: take it in her.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not her.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: It just says marry the wife of clobus.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have any more info.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I think we are seeing, you know, I think we are seeing women that rise up that are more interested in their proximity to God than they are to people's opinions.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: Well set.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: The church hasn't been rolled great about that, but you know, can't keep a good woman down, I guess.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: And on that note, I wanted to ask you, like, what would you say to females out there who might have been, you know, turned away from spirituality or Jesus because of religion or because of the church or family cultural out of yada?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like, what advice do you have for someone in that position who wants to have a close relationship with Jesus or themselves?
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: I always think of the words that Jesus spoke like my yolk is easy in my bird in this light.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: And so if you've been under a heavy yolk, that's not Jesus.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_01]: And you have permission to throw that off.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: And people will always misunderstand you.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: You're always going to get hateful Instagrams and people in your community that don't understand.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, Jesus said there would be days like this.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, it's okay.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: And there are going to be your people.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: It might take time to search them out and to find you.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: And that's okay, too.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I would also say that, you know, you were made to speak and that you were made to be heard and that you were created to have an opinion and a perspective and that your voice is not only valuable and important, but it's needed.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for sharing that.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, all the seals.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: Now, when it comes to your ability to see talk about that, because I'm very curious about this is affected you in your life.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure it's not always easy to have this sort of responsibility, right?
- 35:23[SPEAKER_02]: So tell me about that.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not all, you know, pick and make some of the part, can.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: Lobby dog.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, so, you know, I, in the last, you know, a couple of years, I've really had the incredible honor of, you know, both getting amazing Instagram and Slack messages from other Sears, and I've also had
- 35:48[SPEAKER_01]: just been so fortunate to be around people from five years old to ninety that see.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so when you start to pull yourself into the community and when you start to get around people that are making an experience more common or more normative, that can really help a lot.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I was not in that environment growing up.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: And I, you know, I think for me, I
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: I hear a really common thread with most sear stories, which is that darkness tries to come in as fast and as hard as it can to create an overwhelm that kind of fries your circuits.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so, for whatever reason, and I'm grateful, Jesus got to me before any of that got started.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I was raised in North Georgia, which is, you know, a stolen Cherokee land.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I,
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot going on spiritually.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I have ended in that time period see angels as well as darker figures, but you know, I don't think there was a whole lot of
- 37:06[SPEAKER_01]: really understanding that you have to take spiritual authority in a home or in a place because my family was really not interested in the spiritual realm.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: There was sort of this lack of realization that, you know, you might need to kind of like set some boundaries and be like, hey, light.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: the circus is not welcome in this place.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: We're not doing circus here.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I do remember seeing several angels in that backyard as a child.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember seeing some, you know, typically taller white figures, different details, different shapes.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I also remember
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we moved into this, for example, this house.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it was a new construction house.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: And in North Georgia, it was tornado alley.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: The pathway is kind of moved over a little bit now.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: But you build your house into the side of a hill if you can.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: So you can build a tornado shelter in the basement.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_01]: And so this house is built really deeply into the side of a hill.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: And new construction house, and I would go down in that basement.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was the most haunted place I think I've ever been in in my life.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I'm six, seven, eight, nine years old.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I would see stuff running around corners.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: like and it would just it was like little black with like and I would see them with my eyes um typically they were about three to four feet off the ground like about yay just like kind of like they would cut just at the corner of a door like at you know you feel something watching you and then you look and it's cutting around the door
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just remember seeing a lot of these types of figures as a child.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I remember to be honest seeing that in our church basement quite a bit.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: There was literally a spoke about mold and I love that because that's such an, and it's a very fitting analogy for the spiritual world.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: You know, where there's mold
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: There's usually some kind of issue, you know, you look in the Old Testament and you know, they used to say like a priest would have to go to a moldy home because they knew that something was not right where there was mold.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so they wouldn't, you know, they didn't send the drywall man to fix them all.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: They sent a priest to like exercise the house, basically.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so people will say, don't over-spiritilize something, but where there's mold, there's moisture.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: And so a lot of times when we see dysfunction in different areas, there is often a spirit that is either driving it or partnered with it in my opinion.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's no such thing as over-spiritualizing anything.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because the two realms are intrinsically interlocked and interconnected.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I think for me, I would see similar things in the church basement, and that was always really interesting to me as well.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's interesting to make that connection.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: The black wisps in the mold maybe there's something to that where as the energy sort of degrades in a space mold gets a foothold or vice versa something like that.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it was it was interesting and you know, I think
- 41:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I would continue.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: I really was trying to shut off like spiritual anything, but that began to open up to me again in my early twenties.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I think for a long time, the only thing I wanted to look for in a room was Jesus.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, there was a real process of like, you know, really choosing to
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: see and understand in that role more and that's what I've been writing about on the internet again.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right, ladies and gentlemen, let's take a quick break to think.

- 45:13[SPEAKER_02]: Well, tell us more about what you've been writing about and why this is all relevant today.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we've had some pretty profound conversations on this podcast and I'm already thinking this is going to be up there with some of the best ones.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: That idea that has resurfaced a lot on the show, thanks to me.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe my interest in it is the Yuga cycle, which I'm
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: wondering, well, explain.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the the U.S.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_02]: cycle is is a Vedic concept, I believe, so it comes from India, but they, they're idea of, you know, the ages, cycling, and so on and so forth.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_02]: I had to get a guest on the show who explained, you know, that the colleague U.S.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: was ending in
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: And there's some Christian parallels he talks about how the Greek translations of the Septuagint talk about this when they talk about the flood.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_02]: They also talk about a period of cleansing by fire.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_02]: And he says that this is what we're heading towards on a flood, but a period of cleansing towards fire.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_02]: very much seems to be that way if you look at the news and such so I don't know maybe I guess my question is sort of Armageddon apocalyptic related but I'm curious what are your thoughts on on that because you
- 46:48[SPEAKER_02]: you're bringing up a lot of thoughts for me and this this one's sort of yeah it's been on my mind a lot lately and I feel like you might be able to help resolve it maybe I don't know I don't want to put too much pressure on you but what's your biggest question about that what's the what's the pull well I want to know like is this just another
- 47:14[SPEAKER_02]: you know, because you hear that a lot where people will say the world is ending and it almost feels like it's just like a political sort of thing that people say to get a reaction certain, you know, think people to do certain things.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, it just does feel like there's something different.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: As you said, the veil is sort of thinning.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that's exactly what they would have said would happen after the Colleague, because there's this sort of period of a reset.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: We've heard that turmoil a lot lately in the past couple years, the great reset and all this.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: And then after that, we progressively get towards sort of heaven on earth.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I'm curious, like, is this just, you know, sort of pipe dream that's been preserved since ancient times or to be any truth to this that you resonate with?
- 48:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think there is some truth that I'm resonating with.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I think
- 48:19[SPEAKER_01]: To your point, you know, as we're talking about, you know, your relationship to darkness is that you want to like rip the roof off, right?
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's what's in your heart.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, let's just do this, get the light in, not let all the UV kill, all the mold.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: And like, I think that that's in the heart of God.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think that there is a thing
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: where, you know, if you've had a really good dad, he's like, oh no, that's my kid.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm gonna get some light in this and remove what's been causing harm.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that, you know, a lot of people right now are talking about Armageddon, you know, as we were recording on the night of yet another flare up in the middle east, you know, people getting bombed and sheld, and I was just on the phone with a friend from Iraq, and she's like, you know, Yani, it was just Kurdish, she's like, Yani, you know, we've been in war since.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was tiny.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: We survived the chemical gas rates.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now we have these bombings again.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we see these incredible amounts of suffering that are happening in the world and you can't ignore that and you can't look away from it.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: But in the middle of darkness, light has to be brighter.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: and in the middle of destruction, what's being revealed in the middle of pain, what's being shed light on.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because we see this so often
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: history is cyclical in nature like like your friend was saying you know there's a cycle of history where it you know the loop gets a little tighter and tighter and tighter and I'm not an alarmist I'm not an Armageddon kind of person and I
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: fully expect to live a long, healthy life personally, and I refuse to, you know, bunker down and think that the world is over.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be in the world with light, but it's hard to ignore that the cycles are getting a lot tighter and smaller.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_01]: and that it seems like these really intense things just keep happening.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so like, you know, I really love, because you know, traditional Christian thinking in the last is like, Jesus is gonna vacuum us up out of the sky and take us to glory while everyone else suffers.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I'm just like, that's a horrible eschatology.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I'm raised in the Americans to all for every
- 51:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Kuku with a bone to pick has made some cultish theology that's, you know, harming people.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, it's not to be disrespectful to anyone's beliefs, but when I got to seminary and did my master's, they started teaching us about this idea that, like, instead of earth being destroyed that heaven is getting closer and closer and closer,
- 52:02[SPEAKER_01]: And they weren't like role-pied in the sky kind of people.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: They were just these amazing professors that had spent their whole life studying, but not just studying, but also wrestling with God.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: And they were like, what we see is heaven actually coming down to earth.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: and bringing light down to earth.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: So what I personally believe is happening right now is that darkness is having its last hurrah and is pitching a fit because heaven is getting closer and closer and light is getting closer and closer and you know
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: as far as astrology goes.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you got to remember, I'm a biblical Hebrew Old Testament scholar.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_01]: The ancients believed that the stars were gods.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so when it says in Psalms that he calls the stars, he knows them each by name, the ancients would have believed that those stars were beings or entities that had been given a position in the night sky as watchmen, or otherwise, and they believed that falling comet's coming down out of the sky were the gods falling.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: And so when a crater would hit the earth, that was another one bites the dust or whatever.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so when you think about this, Armageddon type picture, it's like, oh, like the comments are falling.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_01]: And the entities are falling.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_01]: And the old construction that wasn't good is being pulled down, isn't something new can be in its place.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's not this notion of like death and destruction and God hates us and everybody's gonna suffer.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_01]: I actually really, I don't know if I, I think I believe this.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when you're like still kind of picking something out, I think I believe this, I think that the fire reference might actually just be the love of God poured out on us.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_01]: I really do.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_02]: The comparison was made to the biblical flood in that, you know, in the past when this period sort of cycled to where we are roughly now, we were a different culture entirely, and that culture was not listening to angry, not God, and angry Zeus God flooded the whole earth, right?
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_02]: that but that's very reassuring to get your take on it and I prefer that divine fire more than actual you know inferno but yeah wow that's interesting so but on that note what how would you reinterpret what we're told about the flood because that is a part of your background right is old testament criticism word yes
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, oh boy, I'm gonna get in a lot of trouble if you made it this far in the podcast.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: And you're already on the floor.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, oh, let me, yeah, let me turn on a little light here.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's like ten o'clock here in Paris.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let me, let me put my flashlight on.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow, that is a lot of light.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: Not so much better.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that looks really scary.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to do that.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think Mark, I think you've got to look at the whole story because they watch this man named Noah build an arc for like hundreds of years.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: And he was probably telling them the whole time, like, hey man, like when the time comes, get in the boat, made plenty of room for ya.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: Just hop on in.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it wasn't this exclusionary thing that we may have been taught where God was just incredibly angry.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, hey man, get in the boat.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, it was, hey, like, yeah, we can go two by two with the animals.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: I got my family, but you look at the dimensions of that thing and it was massive.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it was
- 56:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know for scale, like how to describe how big that thing was.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_01]: But he was working on this monument for years and he was like, it's gonna rain and they're like, what's rain?
- 56:49[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, I don't know, but it's gonna rain, man.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: Get in the boat.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, I think when we, this is the controversial bit.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: When we have an idea where we're angry towards people, I think we want to enact our judgment on them.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_01]: And we want to say like,
- 57:13[SPEAKER_01]: This is actually my perspective and my opinion about you.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_01]: And so I want to put my story on it.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of Old Testament scholars will say that some of the, you know, the older ways of looking at different things were actually a perspective.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: And so when you get to the New Testament, and most people really like Jesus, unless he's flipping your tables and driving people out of market places with webs, which happens sometimes, you know, but you know, most people really like Jesus, but Jesus was like, hey, you've got it all wrong.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_01]: If you've seen me, then you've seen the Father.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, so it's just sort of this idea where there's a paradigm shift in the nature and character of God.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, you know, I know I've listened to some of your podcasts on Freemasonry and on different occultic rituals and practices.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, I almost always find that there is a false trinity involved.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_01]: So like, for example, you know, there was a lot of Freemasonry and my family history, and they have a kind of Trinitarian setup where, you know, it's three, when you really dig into it, there's three old gods.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_01]: You see the same thing on Olympia.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's Zeus, Athena, and is it Apollo?
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: But they were sort of like the triad, right?
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so you see these trinities all throughout these different occultic religions, and they're usually very punitive, and they're usually very, they're bit spicy, and they are the Thunderbolt Lightning.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now, is that not to say that God isn't powerful or can't, you know, enact judgment or righteous judgment?
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: But when we see these false trinitarian systems that have, you know,
- 59:34[SPEAKER_01]: inflicted a lot of suffering, it seems to be the false, not the true.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so you get these ideas worked into religion and worked into belief systems that God is awful and punitive and punishing.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: And there's actually entities behind that that I believe are driving the boat on some of those belief systems.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, I was raised in a church system, you know, and I probably won't say the name, but I actually don't consider them to be Trinitarian.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_01]: even though they talk about Father Son and Holy Spirit.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_01]: The Trinity that I was raised to believe was God is the Father is like Mr. Lightning Bolt in the sky.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: And Jesus is like the dude that that guy inflicted all of his wrath on to make us feel better and then Holy Spirit is like shows up maybe.
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not a true vegetarian system where it's the three and one.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_01]: And you see that with Olympia as well, where Zeus is kind of like the top of the triad or the totem pole.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: But then Jesus comes on board and he's like, if you've seen me, you've seen the father.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, what?
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, that was a really long spiel.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_02]: Glad we went down that road because it's a lot of stuff that I'm slightly familiar with, and it's helpful to put it all together.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think, Mark?
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think about the flood?
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think that we have impending Damoponus?
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_02]: Now, no one really resonated with your statement that you refused to believe anything other than that you're going to have a happy, long life.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's kind of fundamental, like we should all see that for ourselves.
- 1:01:45[SPEAKER_02]: In my life, a lot of the people and even myself, you know, when I was at my lowest or seen others at their lowest, it was partly because they didn't have a vision of where they would be for the rest of their life.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I think that's a big issue that a lot of people sometimes don't know how to confront.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, no, I...
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_02]: I have a lot of faith in that sense, and I'm really glad to hear you bring some light to that particular part of the Old Testament, because yeah, a lot of people might just take it for the sort of schoolbook version of it, which is, oh, Noah put every animal of two of every animal on the boat, and that's how we have the world we have today, thanks to Noah.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_02]: No, there's a lot more to it than that.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was really about like, hey, you guys going to save yourself or you're going to ignore this call, right?
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we all kind of face that in ourselves when we ignore the call to change for the better.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, the call to you.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, even to you.
- 1:03:05[SPEAKER_01]: find truth at all costs when you do so beautifully
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_02]: so let me ask you this and we can possibly save this for the supporters only section of the show just because it might get into some personal territory but based on some things that we've already talked about I'm curious if you've had any you know vision or or you could see into my life in any way
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't want to indulge too selfishly, but I feel like I've been in a particularly strange part of my life lately.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I want to lean in and embrace this opportunity because, yeah, it's not often that we meet people.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_02]: like yourself, Mary, so yeah, I don't, again, I don't want to be too selfish, but if that's not too much to ask, I'd love to hear any insights you have on me, because I know you've listened to the show too, so you might have gathered some info that only someone like yourself could gather.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest, I already have some notes.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_01]: We were going to meet a couple of months ago, and I just took some time to pray for you, and I saved the notes.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think it selfish.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_01]: I would have made you go in that direction anyway.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, cool.
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right on.
- 1:04:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_01]: Let me just pull that up and also in all my spiritual people, write your stuff down, write your stuff down.
- 1:04:52[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Mart, I, yeah.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think I've already given some of this, but.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just take any of this that that sticks and none of it that doesn't, but I just really feel like the word calls you a man of peace.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_01]: and people make peace and you are a man that makes peace so you don't just bring peace you make it and there's an edge to you that I believe will really be called upon and it's almost like
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like you're a sword that slices through things very quickly and swiftly.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like you get down to the bottom of things, but I think people are really going to need that in days ahead.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: But you are a man of peace and blessed are the peace makers.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_01]: You actually care enough to make peace.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's who you are.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: that's who you are.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like your research, I have, and y'all, I know it's hard to take your own horn, but if you're not subscribed to Mark's Substack, you should be because he's a clear, sharp, insightful writer with a lot of creativity, and it's just a genuine pleasure to read his stuff.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I saw this image of like a geyser, and as you continuously research,
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_01]: It actually opened up a geyser under the ground.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: And so as you dig, there's something that you're going to really tap on that's going to open up like with great force, something that's been hidden and something that is really deep and impactful.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel that
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel that the Lord is saying that you thought that this was sort of like a wandering rabbit trail, but it was actually like a net.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's actually like this notion that like all the wandering pieces are going to suddenly drop into place and click in a really profound way.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's really, really proud of you.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that there's just a real amount of honor for you and for your life.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like you could have chosen a lot of different things and you chose to go deep.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: One others wanted to go wide, you went deep.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that there's something really profound like down at the bottom of those layers.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I heard this very clearly.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like you need to go by a suit.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that the reason why is that you will be asked, I saw you speaking in boardrooms.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_01]: and in places of influence where you would actually be invited in to speak to men and women of influence and power because of the work that you have done.
- 1:08:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going from being an outsider to being an insider, but to being an insider is only you could be an insider.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_02]: That reflects some things that have been happening.
- 1:08:34[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's in some ways, but I don't want to.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's too much.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just think that yeah, that was what I was really seeing and man, I just
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_01]: I also really believe that there is going to be a really strong angelic presence that starts to come with you into some of these arenas and places.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I even see, you can cut this if you feel, but
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like there's been some drama and betrayals.
- 1:09:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I see that just kind of being pulled out like just from where people that you trusted maybe weren't all that they should be.
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I see the word restoring your faith and trust, not just in humanity, but in him as he is.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_01]: and really like setting you up to just to walk forward with a lot of strength and peace and clarity and direction.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I think just in general, the summer feels like a really transitional time for a lot of us.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a time to go deep and deeper.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_01]: and to ask all of our big questions.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just really believe that the summer is going to pull you into corners of the internet that you never expected.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_01]: And into areas of research that you never expected.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's going to be really profound and impactful.
- 1:10:42[SPEAKER_01]: But it's been leading up to something.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's more than a podcast, but it's not more than a podcast.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like, does that make sense?
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_02]: Let's give the listeners any anxiety, but there definitely have been moments in the past few weeks where I've questioned this as a career in the long term.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it'll most likely be something in my life part time for as long as I can sustain it.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, that has struck me.
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_02]: And this now has me thinking maybe there's some more await to than I thought.
- 1:11:27[SPEAKER_02]: but I will say for the audience listening our entire conversation I have felt like very open because I'm empathic and to certain extent I certain I don't know I see certain things when I'm talking to people
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if the TV screen or the computer, but there are certain guests where I see, you know, sort of oras around their head.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_02]: And that was happening during this conversation.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, do you tell?
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, when I when I'm talking, I'm usually looking straight ahead, so I can focus on what I'm saying, but when I'm listening to you, I'm looking directly at you on my screen, which isn't, you know, straight into the camera, but on my screen, I'm seeing you and there's like a white
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_02]: yellowish sort of glow around you and this was happening with the recent guests too Kevin Turner he's a pretty profound guy spiritually speaking he teaches a class in Bali and his students often say they've seen him biolocate be in two places at once but anyways regardless so I felt this sense like
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_02]: Careful what you think of because she's gonna see everything, right?
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_02]: So I just did point that out for the audience that there is this really like palpable sense of like vulnerability talking to you and I am embracing that because I respect you and I trust you, but yeah, it is it is interesting to hear that and you know several times throughout my life I've had these sort of low points where
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_02]: whatever reason I've sought out psychics or I think the first instance of this was rakey but when my friends and I were young we had like sort of small kind of issue with another friend who stole something from us and we didn't we didn't suspect it was him we weren't sure but we wanted to be sure so one of us had the idea to go to a psychic
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_02]: And after that, I had several instances where whether it was heartbreak or just, you know, unsure where to go next in life, where to go and see psychic.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_02]: with mixed results, but over time I started to have more of an intuitive sense about things, and it's been a long time since I've gone to talk to any psychic, the only sorts of conversations that I've had like this have happened through the podcast, but I've never spoken to anyone with your
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_02]: background because I feel like you're average psychic.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's a mixed bag, you know, but I will say one person who I really do trust she actually was a guest on my podcast and I met her, you know, years and years ago away before I had a podcast and she gave me a reading several times in sort of help.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_02]: He course corrected my own way.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_02]: I guess I say all that if anyone's listening you know and here's what we just talked about you know don't be afraid to seek that out for yourself because I have found it incredibly valuable but on that note what would your advice be to me and you know knowing what I just said like would do you feel differently like about psychics and whatnot because I feel like it is a sort of risky thing to do
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_02]: You have to do that.
- 1:15:14[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_01]: Hit the nail on the head.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for sharing all that when personas, you know, there's this first that says that the Lord searches the hearts of men.
- 1:15:25[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, my guard rail that I have in my life is that I only try to
- 1:15:36[SPEAKER_01]: access spiritual information through the Holy Spirit and through the Father.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, there's this verse where Jesus says, I only do what I see my Father doing.
- 1:15:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's the measure of safety in that, where even if there's some level of really alarming information, which I did not see anything alarming.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, you're tathered to the perspective of heaven about what's happening.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like trying to expose someone or bring shame or condemnation or create a scenario where somebody needs to come back to me for words or vision or whatever.
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like the goal is to reflect light in such a way that you can have that and you can have a living breathing relationship with the voice of God.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_01]: like for yourself, you don't need, you don't need me, but we can be loved and encouraged.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of where I was leaning towards.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad you said it like that because what I sort of realized and you helped put it in an even more eloquent way than I could, which is yeah.
- 1:17:03[SPEAKER_02]: The voice of God speaks to us sometimes we just need a little help and reassurance to realize that that's actually what we're listening to.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_02]: And again, people who come from a background that's not Christian might hear that and think like, oh gosh, this isn't for me.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_02]: But I felt that same way, ten years ago.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, I would kind of get like a sense of, ugh, if I heard somebody get to, you know, I felt it was like, you know, gloting or something.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_02]: That was like the response I would give.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_02]: But really what it was, is somebody was reassured in their sense of spirituality.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_02]: And because I didn't have that myself,
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_02]: I had this sort of response that wasn't very pleasant.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_02]: And now that I've taken the time to really sit with myself and those ideas and gave myself space to contemplate it, I can hear anybody talk about, you know, and I don't have any sort of, you know,
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_02]: We're just, unless they say something that truly deserves revolt, I'm very open-minded to any spiritual belief system for the most part.
- 1:18:16[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, it is, it is very, you know, to me.
- 1:18:22[SPEAKER_02]: it kind of opens my heart more and more to have conversations like this and I think that's a big part of the process with this word that you know and again it's different for everybody so if that's not your path maybe you see it through other means you know I really am sensitive to all that but for me it has skewed towards nature which
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Birds and certain situations just present themselves to me.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_02]: Not always birds, sometimes bears and deer and other creatures, but yeah, that's typically where I see the most message, I guess.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's where I get my message, I guess.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, and too.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, for anybody feeling prickly right now, you know, you've got to remember that like when I heard God speak to me, I was offended and angry.
- 1:19:23[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have another human to blame it on.
- 1:19:25[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 1:19:28[UNKNOWN]: Wow.
- 1:19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you know, I hear you and I get that.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get that, but
- 1:19:36[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, I think source is everything.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_01]: And there is such a thing as stuff that will float by and pop nice information in your head.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's a living, breathing relationship with, for me, there's a living, breathing relationship with Jesus that transcends all the other voices that would speak.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: And that's that's home base and that's true north for me.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:13[SPEAKER_01]: And it not all this.
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: We've heard a lot of lies about him.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_01]: We've heard a lot of crappy things about God that are probably just the ideas of some false Trinity somewhere that weren't even true to begin with.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he is better and kinder and more loving than you can ever think.
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, it's all inspiring and holy and wonderful and all the things.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day, he's a father.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really good news.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you for the kind words.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, of course.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_02]: No, thank you.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's reassuring.
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it helps me sort of realize where I'm at.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_02]: And I hope I can
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_02]: open up that deep well and what you said about the net and the sort of pieces falling into place.
- 1:21:20[SPEAKER_02]: There are moments where I feel like I'm I'm just on the precipice of that and then and then I lose it for a few days.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so thank that helps me sort of feel right track.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if you want to go back to the cyclical nature of time, which is, and now I'm remembering the word Vatican.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I forget these things that I think I actually did listen to that episode.
- 1:21:47[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, anyway.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, but, you know, when you think about the cyclical nature of time, like, there's, you know, there's this idea that God works everything out for good and like if you miss it on one, you get it on the next.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_01]: like there's time as a cycle and you feel like it slips away for a couple days like it's coming back.
- 1:22:10[SPEAKER_01]: I went to a book outmark.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, when's my book on my, when's it on my desk is the first question?
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't even started writing it yet.
- 1:22:23[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I have a lot of notes.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_02]: I have a lot of ideas and anyone who's close with me will be like, what book?
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it's definitely feels like it's, it's not, not insights yet, but I have some other things I've been working on.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_02]: All going in the right direction I think we've got some new ideas for the podcast.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_02]: Right now I'm just sort of thinking of what's next for the merch and I want to create something that
- 1:23:01[SPEAKER_02]: has meaning that people would wear and inspire others and actually is valuable in the sense that it's you know nice material cotton organic cotton if we could get that that would be ideal but yeah and I want to make it myself with love so I have all the equipment and that's kind of the next step is to make some some cool merch for the audience to to buy and have and
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_02]: Support the show, I'm wearing a cool piece of clothing made by me.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's amazing.
- 1:23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when the book is written, I want to volunteer to be one of the ghost readers.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:23:47[SPEAKER_01]: I first draft.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 1:23:50[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't even realize that was the thing, but now that I know I need that you are the first on the list.
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Great, I want to read it.
- 1:23:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm right.
- 1:23:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's making notes.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_02]: I need to make a note because if not, I will not write anything.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, Mary goes straighter.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_02]: Write your notebook already.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm writing to myself.
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, write the damn book.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_02]: What on that note?
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_02]: What if you
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_02]: have, I'm sorry, let me rephrase that.
- 1:24:26[SPEAKER_02]: What can people expect to find on your subject?
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_02]: Because you have a subject as well, don't you?
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_01]: The subject is kind of taken some different forms.
- 1:24:36[SPEAKER_01]: I've written some prophetic words in the past.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's probably going to continue right now.
- 1:24:41[SPEAKER_01]: I have a few reels on Instagram that are taking off and people are asking about the sear realm voraciously.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm writing a lot about like mechanics of the sear realm, hearing the voice of God things like that, just finding that a lot of people
- 1:25:01[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just really don't have a grid for a lot of that kind of stuff, and they feel really isolated or alone.
- 1:25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also writing and have recorded several different courses on spiritual authority, the spiritual realm, sear around, hearing the voice of God through the Old Testament prophets.
- 1:25:23[SPEAKER_01]: That one's one of my favorites.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm writing and recording a lot of content because I really feel like we're moving into a time period where people are not just going to be hungry for this, you know, where they're like, cool, supernatural, they're like, what is going on with my life?
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have a grid, I need a grid and so I feel like I'm just trying to build a grid right now that can help sustain people because I didn't have anyone really do that for me.
- 1:25:57[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I had some really close friends that were able to kind of like validate and bring in some support.
- 1:26:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, no, you're not crazy.
- 1:26:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, this is real.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're not alone, you know, but as far as like building out a
- 1:26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Not a belief structure, but just some form of like a grid to understand anything and to feel rooted in reality.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's where my head and my heart have been at for the last several months.
- 1:26:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm getting ready to release a lot of stuff online because people need that.
- 1:26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like you need to have a grid to understand that you're not alone and you're not crazy.
- 1:26:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:26:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really grateful to facility sharing this with the audience and I hope if anyone listening can, you know, use this grid
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_02]: finds it and you know out to you for advice and I really think that this is something that's more common than people thinking a lot of people are just sort of either unsure or maybe unable to really tap into it on that or are there any
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_02]: sort of physical routines or regiments that you stick to, is there something like dietary that plays into this at all?
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's kind of the suspicion I have, but I could be completely off at a spiritual.
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't follow a particular diet, but I will say this.
- 1:27:37[SPEAKER_01]: So when I had that encounter with Jesus, I got plugged into a church that was super in a fasting, which is great.
- 1:27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Love that.
- 1:27:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I was fasting, volunteering twenty hours a week, teaching people how to voice it, God.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_01]: which was great and I had no business doing that at the time, but they let me.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so I was doing that working full time, and then I started going to graduate school full time.
- 1:28:04[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I had been through a lot of personal transition and grief, and, you know, I lost about twenty-five pounds in six months.
- 1:28:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't recommend that to anybody.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_01]: It was not intentional.
- 1:28:19[SPEAKER_01]: It just I just stopped eating regularly or enough.
- 1:28:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so you can kind of see where this is going like, you know, by twenty twenty I
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I had gone through some really stressful things, not necessarily related to twenty-twenty, but just in my personal life and went into multiple organ failure.
- 1:28:44[SPEAKER_01]: And that was not very much fun, and you know, I
- 1:28:51[SPEAKER_01]: believe in supernatural healing and all the things I've prayed with people in hospitals.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, you know, I had the first time we were supposed to record, I had a foot infection.
- 1:29:03[SPEAKER_01]: I was in the hospital and, you know, this is a cool story.
- 1:29:09[SPEAKER_01]: rabbit trailing but I know you can follow.
- 1:29:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I went into the hospital with a foot infection not to get gross with anybody but you know stuff is coming out of the foot.
- 1:29:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in the hospital they're like you're getting one of three surgeries tomorrow and there's nothing you can do about that and so they put me in the MRI machine stuff is coming out of my foot.
- 1:29:32[SPEAKER_01]: They take me upstairs.
- 1:29:33[SPEAKER_01]: It stops overnight.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Some people came to pray for me and just, you know, in the name of Jesus, like this needs to be healed.
- 1:29:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm upstairs in the hospital room.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Stuff stops coming out of the foot.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_01]: I had to wait fourteen hours for the MRI to be read.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_01]: While I was in the MRI machine, there was stuff coming out of the foot.
- 1:29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Fourteen hours later, the doctor rang.
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_01]: He was like, yeah, we're taking you off the surgery schedule for tomorrow.
- 1:30:03[SPEAKER_01]: Your MRI is totally clear.
- 1:30:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing in your foot, there's no pass in your foot.
- 1:30:10[SPEAKER_01]: And they're in the mess coming out of the foot.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, so now Jesus does MRI felonies as well.
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_01]: And he's just like messing with medical records, you know.
- 1:30:22[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, that was actually where I was when we were, you know, first supposed to be recording as I was in the hospital having a miracle, which was wonderful.
- 1:30:35[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, backing up to twenty-twenty, you know, I had had a lot of people pray for me and I was like, there's something missing about my life.
- 1:30:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I am...
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_01]: Running on the ragged edge of burnout all the time.
- 1:30:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sleeping.
- 1:30:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not eating enough.
- 1:30:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not eating properly.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so I actually went on a
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I went on like about a two-year journey to like really get myself stable.
- 1:31:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know, a lot of people want to talk about like seers and mental health, and I'm a big believer in that.
- 1:31:11[SPEAKER_01]: But one of the things is that dehydration, then the symptoms of anxiety.
- 1:31:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so, you know, if you're not drinking enough water, if you're not eating enough food, if you're not sleeping regularly, if you're not moving your body, like you're gonna be skewed.
- 1:31:30[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not actually in a rhythm that is honoring your body and taking care of yourself, things are going to get really out of whack really quickly.
- 1:31:40[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're not tending to your emotions and to your mental health, like I see a counselor, I really
- 1:31:50[SPEAKER_01]: I try to stay in community.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_01]: I try to stay around people.
- 1:31:54[SPEAKER_01]: I try to be around people that get me.
- 1:31:57[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I have Sheila's seat in my bag.
- 1:32:00[SPEAKER_01]: You know, love me some Sheila's seat.
- 1:32:04[SPEAKER_01]: I know that's on the show right now, but shout out to the Sheila's seat people.
- 1:32:08[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I've got supplements.
- 1:32:11[SPEAKER_01]: I take pretty regularly.
- 1:32:13[SPEAKER_01]: And for me, it's that real overlap with like Jesus is the word.
- 1:32:18[SPEAKER_01]: He is
- 1:32:19[SPEAKER_01]: the one he created my body and he's holding it together at the sound of his voice even now.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's always gonna be something supernatural about that, but I have agency over my own life.
- 1:32:33[SPEAKER_01]: I have agency over my bedtime and if I eat breakfast in the morning and I'm a different person when I'm dehydrated.
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you that right now.
- 1:32:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:32:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:32:49[SPEAKER_02]: We all are.
- 1:32:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:32:51[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 1:32:52[SPEAKER_02]: Good reminders.
- 1:32:53[SPEAKER_02]: And on that note, I should probably get myself a glass of water.
- 1:32:57[SPEAKER_02]: So remind the people where they can go to hear more from you, read more from you.
- 1:33:04[SPEAKER_02]: And Mary, I'd love to have you back on the show.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Very soon.
- 1:33:07[SPEAKER_02]: We can continue this conversation.
- 1:33:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, send me some notes ahead of time for what you want to talk about next.
- 1:33:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure there's more stories that you have to share.
- 1:33:17[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, remind them where they can go to learn more about you and from you.
- 1:33:24[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_01]: So it's Mary Quirky spelling, MARI.
- 1:33:29[SPEAKER_01]: Mary with an eye.
- 1:33:30[SPEAKER_01]: So it's Mary for the ages.com.
- 1:33:33[SPEAKER_01]: And TikTok YouTube, Instagram, Substack.
- 1:33:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's Mary for the ages.
- 1:33:39[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a private chat on my Substack.
- 1:33:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to funnel everybody that wants to chat in there right now.
- 1:33:46[SPEAKER_01]: Because in part, I don't want to see people not feel like they're alone.
- 1:33:51[SPEAKER_01]: and I want to see people ask their questions bravely in community.
- 1:33:54[SPEAKER_01]: So we've got the private chat on some stack and I'm releasing a lot of courses right now online.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_01]: And they're really, they're not a lot of my personal experiences.
- 1:34:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're actually just really practical frameworks and really practical research on how to engage properly and in a healthy way with the spiritual realm.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_01]: All that's on Mary for theages.com and Mark I just want to honor you for your love for people.
- 1:34:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's you can have so many things and not have that and miss the whole thing and you just love and serve people really well and so I'm just really grateful to to know you.
- 1:34:43[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for having me on.
- 1:34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:34:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm grateful to know you as well.
- 1:34:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I really appreciate the depth of our conversation and what you're able to share with me.
- 1:34:54[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll try to take that and try to and live up to it because yeah, I definitely I am that person, but I'm not always perfect.
- 1:35:06[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, we neither.
- 1:35:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's always good to have their reminders, right?
