- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means. He smarts
- 0:06Speaker 2: amone on seven to ten. R. Well, hey Wednesday, you
- 0:16Speaker 2: got a big, big night tonight the Knicks game four tonight.
- 0:22Speaker 2: It was a game four, game five. I can't remember
- 0:25Speaker 2: Game four tonight. Game four tonight at the garden. You
- 0:28Speaker 2: know everybody said, well, Trump went to a game, So
- 0:31Speaker 2: that's what Jinks did. They won thirteen in a row.
- 0:33Speaker 2: All of a sudden, Trump's there. They lost. Mom Donnie
- 0:38Speaker 2: was there. You know, you forget forgetting Mom Donnie was
- 0:40Speaker 2: there for the first time. He was the jinx. It
- 0:42Speaker 2: was the Mom Donnie curse. First time Mom Donnie shows up,
- 0:46Speaker 2: they lose. That's the curse. So hey, Trump, a long
- 0:51Speaker 2: long time Knicks fan, Mom Donnie all of a sudden
- 0:54Speaker 2: pretending to be a Knicks fan.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I think that's what screwed them up, the Knicks complaining
- 1:01Speaker 2: about the referees, the calls, the file shots, all the anyway,
- 1:05Speaker 2: we'll get to all of that. We'll get to Platner,
- 1:08Speaker 2: We'll get to Nancy Mace, We'll get to Scott Pelley,
- 1:13Speaker 2: the most pompous man ever. We'll get to Artemis and
- 1:19Speaker 2: a whole lot more coming up. Oh, also, we'll get
- 1:21Speaker 2: to CNN what a future they're going to have. And
- 1:25Speaker 2: now Iran fired a couple of drones, fired a couple
- 1:29Speaker 2: of shots at us. We responded, the President announcing it
- 1:33Speaker 2: was a proportional response. We took out a lot of
- 1:36Speaker 2: stuff along the coast of the Straight of horm Moose,
- 1:39Speaker 2: especially at the opening of the Straight of horn Moose.
- 1:41Speaker 2: We took out a lot of stuff there. Iran kept
- 1:44Speaker 2: firing back. We responded. They responded to the response, So
- 1:48Speaker 2: that means more is coming, the President indicating it will
- 1:52Speaker 2: be a much much bigger, massive response this time, and
- 1:57Speaker 2: that we'll probably for the first time, start taking out infrastructure, bridges,
- 2:02Speaker 2: power plants, all of that sort of stuff, which is
- 2:05Speaker 2: you're going to hear. By the way, and let me
- 2:07Speaker 2: just point this out, and it could happen to night.
- 2:09Speaker 2: They could take out bridges, power plants. You're gonna hear
- 2:12Speaker 2: every Democrat saying this is a violation of international law,
- 2:16Speaker 2: this is a war crime. You'll hear this a thousand times,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and the network news will report it as if it's
- 2:25Speaker 2: a real It's not a violation of international law. There
- 2:29Speaker 2: is actually no such thing. As international law, it doesn't exist.
- 2:34Speaker 2: It's just a term they throw around. It's not a
- 2:37Speaker 2: war crime. It's usually what you do day one of
- 2:39Speaker 2: any war. And every time the US fought a war Iraq, wherever,
- 2:46Speaker 2: day one you take out power plants and bridges. It's
- 2:49Speaker 2: so usually the first thing you do. So don't pay
- 2:51Speaker 2: any attention when they start all of that stuff. The
- 2:54Speaker 2: blockade continues, President Trump, what has.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Proven to be a very powerful thing is the blockade.
- 3:00Speaker 4: The blockades turned out to be much stronger than bombing,
- 3:04Speaker 4: And it was really a combination. Was our initial thrust and.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Then the blockade. I remember, the blockade halts their entire economy.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Iran has no economy and no revenue, no money coming
- 3:16Speaker 2: in as long as that blockade, as long as they
- 3:18Speaker 2: can't use the straits. Hey, these pilots that were shot down,
- 3:21Speaker 2: these helicopter pilots, more details coming up. Apparently we knew
- 3:24Speaker 2: it was a drone. That was the helicopter was attacked
- 3:28Speaker 2: by a drone, but apparently the drone landed right in
- 3:32Speaker 2: the helicopter, right between the two pilots. There was fire
- 3:36Speaker 2: and smoke and everything. But you know, they think those
- 3:38Speaker 2: drones are made to explode when they get inside. So
- 3:42Speaker 2: the pilots ejected quickly, but very brave guys.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Hey, pilots are fine, yeah, and what nobody jured. Now
- 3:51Speaker 4: we are going to issue report tomorrow. But the pilots
- 3:54Speaker 4: are fine.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And they were quickly rescued. By the way,
- 3:57Speaker 2: they were rescued by a drone drone boats. There's an
- 4:01Speaker 2: unmanned drone boat that could be sent, and they used
- 4:05Speaker 2: an unmanned drone boat. These were developed a few years ago,
- 4:08Speaker 2: actually during the Biden years. They were developed. One of
- 4:11Speaker 2: the few things Lloyd Austin accomplished to get these things built.
- 4:14Speaker 2: This drone boat. It's got a range for like a
- 4:16Speaker 2: thousand miles. It can show up pick up pilots in
- 4:19Speaker 2: the water. And the reason they used this drone boat
- 4:22Speaker 2: it's in the Strait of Hormose and they were worried
- 4:24Speaker 2: about mines. If you sent a man ship in there
- 4:27Speaker 2: could blow up with the mine. So they used this
- 4:29Speaker 2: and the pilot successfully rescued. Now the deal is still
- 4:33Speaker 2: apparently coming. He can it's supposedly a deal.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I don't think Garar in his second point, I think
- 4:38Speaker 4: we're very we're very close to having a very very good, strong,
- 4:44Speaker 4: powerful deal.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah. So again, if you watch all the crazy shows,
- 4:49Speaker 2: the Morning Joe's, the CNNs, the New York Times, they've
- 4:53Speaker 2: been going after him for he kept keep saying there's
- 4:55Speaker 2: a deal. CNN they thought this was a brilliant accomplishment.
- 5:01Speaker 2: CNN counted how many times during this conflict Trump has
- 5:04Speaker 2: made the claim that they're close to a deal. It
- 5:09Speaker 2: turns out it's a wopping thirty eight times, according to CENA,
- 5:13Speaker 2: and they act like they conducted some massive investigation. There's
- 5:17Speaker 2: a thing called Lexus Nexus, and it keeps a transcript
- 5:20Speaker 2: of everything, every speech by everybody, everything on the airwaves,
- 5:24Speaker 2: every newsca, every show. So you can go to the
- 5:28Speaker 2: Lexus Nexus, which every newsroom has, and you could just
- 5:32Speaker 2: type in how many times as President Trump said, we're close,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and it'll spit out the number instantly. It's not that complicated.
- 5:39Speaker 2: CNN actions acts like this was a major thing that
- 5:43Speaker 2: they've come up with. The fact that he said at
- 5:46Speaker 2: thirty seven thirty eight times would indicate I don't know,
- 5:50Speaker 2: you could interpret it to mean we are close to
- 5:53Speaker 2: a deal. If he mentioned it once and never said
- 5:55Speaker 2: it again, then I think, man, maybe we're not so close.
- 5:57Speaker 2: He never mentioned it again. But if he keeps saying
- 6:00Speaker 2: at thirty eight times, they're probably close to a deal.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And you know it's not like remember Trump, the master negotiator,
- 6:09Speaker 2: has spent his life negotiating with business people, unions. People
- 6:13Speaker 2: are running a business of some kind. They have to
- 6:16Speaker 2: make a deal at some point. They've got to do
- 6:18Speaker 2: what's logical for them, what's most profitable for them. In
- 6:22Speaker 2: this case, you're dealing with lunatics, with crazy people, so
- 6:28Speaker 2: they don't have to ever do anything logical. So that's
- 6:31Speaker 2: the tough part here. But they should see another round
- 6:37Speaker 2: of massive strikes. Democrats will go nuts tomorrow. But we'll see,
- 6:43Speaker 2: we'll see. We're close. We're close. So Platner actually won
- 6:49Speaker 2: last night, was quite shocking. He won big too. He
- 6:52Speaker 2: got seventy five percent of the vote. That's pretty amazing.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Platner actually wins big. Now he's going after Collins. That's
- 7:02Speaker 2: his whole thing. He immediately in the in the victory speech,
- 7:05Speaker 2: just shifted right away going after Colins.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Susan Collins has used her privilege and power to funnel
- 7:12Speaker 3: sixty million dollars in federal contracts, sixty million of our
- 7:17Speaker 3: tax dollars to her lobbyist husband. If that's not corruption,
- 7:26Speaker 3: I don't know what is.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Sounds like Kathy Hockel, sounds like that's like half the Congress.
- 7:33Speaker 2: If you're against that, I don't know where you're going
- 7:35Speaker 2: to Congress where everybody does that there. But you see,
- 7:37Speaker 2: he's becoming Trump. Now, he's going to be coming after me.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's not me thereafter, it's you there after you, And
- 7:44Speaker 2: he's going to do all the Trump stuff. He's going
- 7:46Speaker 2: to be the new Trump.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I will stand up for you and against billionaires and
- 7:51Speaker 3: greedy corporations. I will serve you the people of May,
- 7:59Speaker 3: not some lobbyist or party boss. I will be the
- 8:03Speaker 3: champion for your dreams as if it were my own,
- 8:07Speaker 3: no matter the challenge or the expense.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Now, in Trump's case, was going for the deep state,
- 8:13Speaker 2: but he basically stole Trump's twenty sixteen convention speech. But
- 8:16Speaker 2: he's going to go after the billionaires and the big corporations.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Now it's main. I don't think there's any billionaires there.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Maybe there's two corporations. It's not a big billionaire corporate
- 8:27Speaker 2: kind of a place Maine. But that's a difference. It
- 8:30Speaker 2: sounded good.
- 8:31Speaker 3: If you believe as I do that we can change
- 8:35Speaker 3: our politics and change our country, then you must also
- 8:39Speaker 3: believe that people can change.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he's referring to all the horrible things he has
- 8:47Speaker 2: done and said, all the horrible things he put online,
- 8:51Speaker 2: all the horrible things he tweeted, all the disgusting things
- 8:54Speaker 2: he said. He's changed now. The only thing is he's
- 8:58Speaker 2: forty one, and one of these horrible things were like
- 9:01Speaker 2: a year ago he was forty. I mean, I could
- 9:03Speaker 2: see if you were sixteen and now you're forty one,
- 9:06Speaker 2: you changed. How much could you change from a year ago?
- 9:09Speaker 2: I don't know. So Nancy Mace, who went against Donald
- 9:13Speaker 2: Trump and then he went against her, just got wiped
- 9:17Speaker 2: out last night. I mean, a total embarrassing disaster, showing
- 9:22Speaker 2: she didn't come in third place, she didn't come in
- 9:24Speaker 2: fourth place. She came in a very distant fifth place.
- 9:27Speaker 2: She had all kinds of explanations for why, apparently I
- 9:31Speaker 2: chose wrong.
- 9:32Speaker 5: If the goal was winning an election.
- 9:35Speaker 6: I'm at peace with that, because when a candidate is
- 9:38Speaker 6: okay with corruption, when a candidate is okay with cover ups,
- 9:44Speaker 6: something is broken.
- 9:47Speaker 5: And that's not political opinion. That is a moral emergency.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's not her fault. It's your fault. It's
- 9:54Speaker 2: all your fault. One of the things that screwed her
- 9:56Speaker 2: up was Epstein. She got so busy attacking Trump over Epstein.
- 10:00Speaker 2: There's nobody that had less to do with Epstein than Trump.
- 10:03Speaker 2: If you read now the Epstein files, you see that
- 10:05Speaker 2: there were bitter enemies. Epstein hated Trump and was always
- 10:09Speaker 2: out to get them. But many of these people can
- 10:14Speaker 2: remember the Epstein files. He was a horrible guy, and
- 10:18Speaker 2: he had this thing for underage women personally, that's what
- 10:21Speaker 2: he did. Had nothing to do with these other guys
- 10:24Speaker 2: except maybe Prince Andrew. Maybe there were one or two
- 10:26Speaker 2: friends that were in on that. But all of these
- 10:28Speaker 2: other guys with Epstein, you can read all this in
- 10:30Speaker 2: the files. They were just after women, adult women. That's
- 10:33Speaker 2: what Epstein had, adult women all over the place at
- 10:35Speaker 2: his parties. He was always introducing you to adult women.
- 10:39Speaker 2: That's what Clinton liked. That's what all these guys liked,
- 10:42Speaker 2: the underage women. That was him on the side privately,
- 10:46Speaker 2: but they had themselves convinced that it was underage women.
- 10:49Speaker 2: For everybody. There was a client list. You never had
- 10:52Speaker 2: a sex business. There were no clients. So she went
- 10:55Speaker 2: crazy pushing this Epstein file and it just did her in.
- 10:59Speaker 2: She mentioned that last night I voted to.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Release the Epstein files and lost some support for that.
- 11:06Speaker 5: As a survivor, I chose to stand on principle and
- 11:10Speaker 5: stand against.
- 11:11Speaker 7: The Epstein cover.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but the files are out. Read them. There's
- 11:16Speaker 2: nothing in there. Nothing. The only thing in there about
- 11:18Speaker 2: Trump is how much Epstein hated him. So they were
- 11:21Speaker 2: not friends a million years ago. For two seconds they were.
- 11:24Speaker 2: But you know who's got to testify today. In fact,
- 11:28Speaker 2: he's already there. Bill Gates has to testify in front
- 11:32Speaker 2: of the Congressional Committee about Epstein. Now it's going to
- 11:34Speaker 2: be behind closed doors, but later today stuff will leak
- 11:38Speaker 2: out from the way he's been behaving on this. He
- 11:41Speaker 2: has been confessing even to his employees. Again with Gates,
- 11:46Speaker 2: it was older women. It was not underage women. But
- 11:49Speaker 2: with Epstein, it was a lot of women. For Gates,
- 11:51Speaker 2: a lot of women, and they were older women. But
- 11:54Speaker 2: he's going to have to testify. He'll be under oath
- 11:57Speaker 2: all day to day. He's going to have to testify
- 11:58Speaker 2: about this. I have a feeling he'll confess to a
- 12:01Speaker 2: lot of stuff on the way in. He said to reporters,
- 12:06Speaker 2: I'm glad to be here to you know, do what
- 12:08Speaker 2: I can to help. I'm glad, trust me, the last
- 12:12Speaker 2: thing on Earth he wants to do is go under
- 12:14Speaker 2: oath and testify about Epstein. He's glad to be here.
- 12:18Speaker 2: So he didn't look at him. He didn't look so
- 12:20Speaker 2: glad to be there. But that's coming up. Hey, the Artemis.
- 12:25Speaker 2: They've announced the new Artemis Astronauts. This is the new
- 12:28Speaker 2: lunar mission.
- 12:29Speaker 8: The crew will fly their journey in lower th orbit
- 12:31Speaker 8: on a circular trajectory around Earth Oriyan in the Blue
- 12:34Speaker 8: Origin Lander design well rendezvous in space, spending about two
- 12:38Speaker 8: days in docked operations, conducting test technology demonstrations, including inside
- 12:44Speaker 8: of Blue Origin spacecraft.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Does this sound like a lot of fun to you
- 12:48Speaker 2: in this little capsule up there practicing docking? I mean,
- 12:51Speaker 2: out of all the things you could be doing in life,
- 12:53Speaker 2: wouldn't rather be watching the Knicks to night? Who wants
- 12:55Speaker 2: to be in this space capsule around in the.
- 12:57Speaker 8: Area intended doc perform integrated stack? Have crew crossed the hatch?
- 13:02Speaker 2: I mean? Is that your idea of fun? Integrated stack
- 13:05Speaker 2: control crossing the hatch? Is this what you like to
- 13:07Speaker 2: do all day for a living.
- 13:08Speaker 8: The lander and get critical test of the life support
- 13:11Speaker 8: systems that can only be done in space.
- 13:13Speaker 2: All right, so they're happy about it. Now the next
- 13:17Speaker 2: lunar landing, I think it's not for a while, and
- 13:20Speaker 2: they said they're going to stay there for a while.
- 13:22Speaker 2: You see these pictures of the moon, so look like
- 13:25Speaker 2: a place you'd like to hang out. It looks like
- 13:27Speaker 2: a lot of fun to be up there. I mean
- 13:29Speaker 2: you get to look all the way back at the Earth,
- 13:31Speaker 2: but just looking back at what you're missing down there. Hey,
- 13:36Speaker 2: we'll get to Scott Pelley coming up, the most pompous
- 13:39Speaker 2: man ever, will play more of his interviews. He was
- 13:43Speaker 2: the king of fake news. Scott Pelly, Leslie Stall and
- 13:48Speaker 2: the others they're staying with sixty Minutes and apparently the
- 13:52Speaker 2: new owner. It's David Ellison, who's the chairman, the owner,
- 13:57Speaker 2: the whole, the big boss. Apparently he called Leslie Stall
- 14:00Speaker 2: at home on Sunday and had a nice conversation with her,
- 14:04Speaker 2: happy that she's going to stay. Stall is eighty four
- 14:07Speaker 2: years old, which is young for a sixty Minutes correspondent,
- 14:11Speaker 2: but she told the staff that she had a nice
- 14:15Speaker 2: talk with Allison. He called her this is good just
- 14:18Speaker 2: to upset Scott Belly. Why did he call her? Why
- 14:21Speaker 2: did he not call me? I'm Scott Belly. So and
- 14:27Speaker 2: they also, you know, they're about to buy CNN Paramount
- 14:31Speaker 2: sky Dance is about to acquire Warner Brothers Discovery. CNN's
- 14:36Speaker 2: in there. They announced that Barry Weiss will also run CNN.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So you guys over there at CNN, you old old
- 14:46Speaker 2: fake news guys, I don't know. Now, you gotta remember,
- 14:50Speaker 2: Barry Weiss is not a Republican. She's not a conservative,
- 14:53Speaker 2: she's a Democrat. She's from the New York Times. All
- 14:56Speaker 2: these people are putting in her Democrats. They're not Trump's,
- 15:00Speaker 2: they're not right wing Republican types. But if you're over
- 15:05Speaker 2: there at CNN, they got to have to change things.
- 15:07Speaker 2: CNN has no ratings, no audience. It's basically failing. And
- 15:12Speaker 2: you got guys there making a fortune. You know, you
- 15:14Speaker 2: got like, hey, wolf Blitzer, very nice guy, but get
- 15:18Speaker 2: millions and millions, and it's really not worth it anymore.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Do you know anybody that says, oh, look what time
- 15:25Speaker 2: it is, Oh I gotta go watch wolf Blitzer. Nobody's
- 15:28Speaker 2: tuning in for wolf Blitzer, nobody else what time he's on.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Do you have any idea what time he's on? No,
- 15:34Speaker 2: So they're going to try to trim the fat over there,
- 15:37Speaker 2: the big bloated budget. So some of those guys should
- 15:41Speaker 2: be worried. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred
- 15:44Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 15:47Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Piece, mister
- 15:52Speaker 2: New York Mark Simone, wor Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 16:01Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Let's go to Peter in Jersey City. Peter, how you doing.
- 16:10Speaker 9: I'm good, Mark, thanks for taking the call. Just two things.
- 16:14Speaker 9: First of all, go back to the beginning. And we
- 16:19Speaker 9: all know that President Trump exaggeration. You know he always
- 16:24Speaker 9: does that. But they did not finish what they started.
- 16:28Speaker 2: What are we talking about. Give us a clue as
- 16:29Speaker 2: to what you're talking to.
- 16:31Speaker 10: The war?
- 16:31Speaker 2: The war, well, let's not finish yet.
- 16:33Speaker 9: It did not finish yet.
- 16:34Speaker 2: I know it's not finished yet. It's in the middle.
- 16:37Speaker 9: Well, they dealing with disease minds.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yes, we know that. I think the idea here is
- 16:43Speaker 2: he'd liked to negotiate a settlement and you could finish it.
- 16:48Speaker 2: You could just go wipe everybody out. That's not tough
- 16:51Speaker 2: for our military to do. I think he wants to
- 16:52Speaker 2: get a settlement, make a deal, and not have to
- 16:55Speaker 2: kill everybody and anybody and wipe everything out. Also, you
- 16:59Speaker 2: got to number. You could take out all their oil facilities.
- 17:01Speaker 2: You could take out carg Island. You could take out everything,
- 17:04Speaker 2: but then it'll be years before they can produce oil again.
- 17:07Speaker 2: So that would keep the price of oil high for
- 17:09Speaker 2: a long time. So they'd like to do this the nicest,
- 17:13Speaker 2: easiest way. But if you have to, it can go
- 17:16Speaker 2: back in. You could wipe out everybody. You could finish
- 17:18Speaker 2: the job whenever you want. You could finish it, but
- 17:20Speaker 2: I think you'd rather do it through a deal. Let's
- 17:23Speaker 2: go to Jim in New Jersey. Jim, how you doing?
- 17:27Speaker 11: Mark? I was listening to two morons on TV last night,
- 17:30Speaker 11: Stephen A. Smith and Chris Cuomo, and Stephen A. Smith
- 17:33Speaker 11: was talking about how Trump cost the Knicks the game
- 17:36Speaker 11: and he's going to cost him the series, and how
- 17:38Speaker 11: those poor people couldn't have their block party because the
- 17:41Speaker 11: Knicks having won in the titles is nineteen seventy three,
- 17:45Speaker 11: when they won in seven games with my man Will
- 17:47Speaker 11: Clyde Fraser was Stephen Smith. In nineteen seventy three, the
- 17:51Speaker 11: Knicks won in five games in Los Angeles because I
- 17:54Speaker 11: remember watching the game till one in the morning, Mark,
- 17:57Speaker 11: it was Jill Russell and Keith Jackson doing the game
- 18:00Speaker 11: him on ABC. The game started ten o'clock our time.
- 18:03Speaker 11: So for all the money, this clown makes Mark Stephen A.
- 18:06Speaker 11: Smith the gay. Nineteen seventy three, the Knicks one in
- 18:09Speaker 11: five games, not seven.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Well, listen, you can make us. Stephen A. Smith a
- 18:15Speaker 2: nice guy, not too bright. He's not the brightest guy
- 18:17Speaker 2: in the world. But he's colorful. He's got a lot
- 18:19Speaker 2: of energy, he's animated. He's good on TV. You know,
- 18:24Speaker 2: he's one of those guys you just want to keep watching.
- 18:25Speaker 2: He's got a lot of personality.
- 18:27Speaker 11: I think he got mixed up, Mark, because the Knicks
- 18:29Speaker 11: won it in seventy I.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Understand that's that doesn't mean every if you talk for
- 18:34Speaker 2: ten million hours on the air, you're going to make
- 18:36Speaker 2: a mistake somewhere in there. Yeah, I've done it. Everybody's
- 18:40Speaker 2: done it. Everybody's done that. Yeah, no, every so often
- 18:43Speaker 2: you say something, you got your fact wrong or so
- 18:46Speaker 2: it happens. But again, he's a He's a great personality,
- 18:50Speaker 2: Stephen A. Smith, but not the brightest guy in the world. Well,
- 18:54Speaker 2: let's go to Kevin in New Jersey. Kevin, how you doing?
- 18:58Speaker 10: Listen little how we are you good? There's a miss smart.
- 19:03Speaker 10: There's a game show that comes on at night. There
- 19:06Speaker 10: are six celebrities. And what's nice about it? When when
- 19:11Speaker 10: a question comes.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Are you talking about that at midnight on Sittney Channel
- 19:14Speaker 2: two CBS. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the New Byron Show.
- 19:19Speaker 10: Yeah. And a thing I like about it is that
- 19:22Speaker 10: when I asked a question or your celebrities give out
- 19:25Speaker 10: nice jokes and they're very smart. I'll tell you something,
- 19:29Speaker 10: if you could have one of those celebrities on your show,
- 19:33Speaker 10: it'll be very good, very good.
- 19:36Speaker 2: All right, Well, maybe maybe you should leave the programming.
- 19:38Speaker 10: To us, right, I like how you work.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. You didn't notice it's
- 19:47Speaker 2: a good show. It's a very good show. Byron Allen
- 19:48Speaker 2: produces it. You didn't notice it. They just out and
- 19:51Speaker 2: out copied Hollywood squares.
- 19:54Speaker 10: Well, no, they're not really. I notice that they're up there.
- 19:57Speaker 10: I know that they're they're updoing.
- 20:00Speaker 2: It's fascinating he can get away with that. It's a
- 20:02Speaker 2: cheap version of Hollywood Squares. Byron Allen just copied Hollywood
- 20:07Speaker 2: Squares and the same thing, although it's cheaper. It's a
- 20:10Speaker 2: much cheaper version. Instead of nine celebrities, it's six celebrities.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Instead of a huge, huge audience, it's a small audience.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And it's the same. It's Hollywood Squares. They ask a
- 20:20Speaker 2: question and then first the celebrity gives a very funny
- 20:24Speaker 2: answer that the writers gave him, and then after everybody
- 20:27Speaker 2: laughs and he's done, then he gives a real answer.
- 20:29Speaker 2: It's Hollywood Squares, but it's very well done. It's on
- 20:33Speaker 2: CBS instead of Colbert, they've replaced it with two Byron
- 20:36Speaker 2: Allen shows. He has the whole hour. First half hour
- 20:41Speaker 2: is Comics Unleashed. It's a bunch of committed it's just
- 20:44Speaker 2: like Gutfeld. It's four comedians and chairs and they're discussing topics.
- 20:48Speaker 2: The only difference is no politics, no politics. And then
- 20:52Speaker 2: the second half hour is the game show. That's a
- 20:54Speaker 2: total copy of Hollywood Squares, but it's very good. Let's
- 20:58Speaker 2: go to John and Queen's John you doing.
- 21:01Speaker 12: Yeah, I'd like to ask you about that. The basketball game.
- 21:05Speaker 12: I don't think it was spare one that. I don't
- 21:09Speaker 12: know what his name. The tour guy on.
- 21:11Speaker 2: The on Texas the Spurs, what's his name? Wimbley?
- 21:16Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, the tour guy pushed what's his name on
- 21:21Speaker 12: the fraud. I don't think that's spare Well.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's basketball. You know, anything can happen. Now, you're not
- 21:26Speaker 2: the only one, even the coaches complaining about the referees.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Uh.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that that gets seven foot four guy. I mean
- 21:35Speaker 2: sometimes he jumps up there and he's above the basket.
- 21:37Speaker 2: He just drops it into the basket. But he did.
- 21:39Speaker 2: There was some pushing and shoving, and they're complaining about
- 21:42Speaker 2: their refs.
- 21:43Speaker 7: Maybe we fouled that many times, but they fouled too,
- 21:47Speaker 7: and it's not shown at the end of the day
- 21:48Speaker 7: on this box score.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so a lot of people think what went wrong
- 21:55Speaker 2: Monday night. It wasn't Trump being there. Maybe it was
- 21:57Speaker 2: Mom Donnie being there, but no, it was the referee.
- 22:00Speaker 2: They kept calling fouls on the Knicks but not on
- 22:02Speaker 2: the Spurs.
- 22:03Speaker 7: I never thought I'd be in the NBA Finals and
- 22:08Speaker 7: see a team get twenty four free throw attempts in
- 22:14Speaker 7: the second half to none of the team's eight. There
- 22:17Speaker 7: were opportunities for fouls to be called.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. Twenty four free throws. Yeah, okay,
- 22:25Speaker 2: Well that can change the outcome of a game. That's
- 22:28Speaker 2: I think what really happened there. Hey, when we come back,
- 22:31Speaker 2: we'll talk to the brilliant columnist Liz Peak. Lots of
- 22:35Speaker 2: stuff to talk to her about next, and don't forget,
- 22:37Speaker 2: we'll get to Scott Pelly, the most pompous man ever,
- 22:41Speaker 2: coming up a little later on Welcome back to the
- 22:44Speaker 2: Mark Simone Show.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Live from the Doubo r Life Back studios.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Well, Liz Peak, the brilliant columnist, the Fox News contributor,
- 22:56Speaker 2: reader columns at Foxnews dot com or The Hill dot com.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Check out lizpeak dot com and of course follow her
- 23:04Speaker 2: on Twitter and she's with us now. Liz Peak, how
- 23:07Speaker 2: you doing.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'm great? Thank you for having me on Mark.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Hey last night, what'd you think the primaries? I know
- 23:14Speaker 2: you thought Platner would win, but did you think he'd
- 23:16Speaker 2: win that big?
- 23:18Speaker 9: Well?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Who was the competition? All these headlines about Platner winning
- 23:22Speaker 1: the primary? Did you think that Janet Mills was going
- 23:25Speaker 1: to get a big following after she dropped out of
- 23:28Speaker 1: the race, or you know, one of the other I mean, honestly,
- 23:32Speaker 1: I'm kind of surprised that everyone is highlighting that race
- 23:35Speaker 1: when no one ever mentioned any other name race. Have
- 23:41Speaker 1: you ever seen I mean honestly, I've seen no commentary
- 23:46Speaker 1: about who else was running. So yes, I think it's
- 23:49Speaker 1: By the way, it's not just that there was no competition,
- 23:52Speaker 1: it's also the Plattner's following is energized. They wanted to
- 23:58Speaker 1: show the world that no matter whether he's a Nazi
- 24:01Speaker 1: and he's a person who is harmful to women, and
- 24:07Speaker 1: he's a liar, and he's a fraud and all the
- 24:09Speaker 1: things that I think you and I would agree on, boy,
- 24:11Speaker 1: they're in for the long run and they couldn't be
- 24:14Speaker 1: happier to support it. The question is whether that lasts
- 24:18Speaker 1: two November, whether there are other allegations that come out,
- 24:22Speaker 1: whether Susan Collins begins to punch back what she needs
- 24:25Speaker 1: to do so you know, we'll see. I don't think
- 24:29Speaker 1: this story is written, so.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Then is it. What would you have to do to
- 24:33Speaker 2: turn off Democratic voters if the Nazi tattoo and the
- 24:36Speaker 2: other stuff doesn't do it, what would you have to do?
- 24:39Speaker 3: Oh?
- 24:40Speaker 1: I think again, Remember who votes in the primaries, Mark,
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's the extreme on both sides. The extreme right comes
- 24:47Speaker 1: out to vote, the extreme left comes out to vote.
- 24:50Speaker 1: It is not all those centrist main voters who have
- 24:54Speaker 1: supported Susan Collins and defied her mediocre polling for decades.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I mean, you know, Susan Collins is a non Trump Republican.
- 25:06Speaker 1: That is a pretty safe place to be, I think
- 25:09Speaker 1: in the state of Maine. Obviously, between now and November.
- 25:14Speaker 1: If we do not see a resolution of the Iran war,
- 25:18Speaker 1: if oil prices fight because we run out of crude inventories,
- 25:22Speaker 1: if any number of a dozen things happen that basically
- 25:26Speaker 1: worsen the people's perceptions of the administration, obviously Republicans are
- 25:32Speaker 1: going to take it on the chin, including someone like
- 25:34Speaker 1: Susan Collins, who again is not a Trump Republican. But
- 25:39Speaker 1: you know, failing that, if we just have sort of
- 25:42Speaker 1: neutral ground, if we get through this Iran war, if
- 25:46Speaker 1: oil prices and gasoline prices come back, I just think
- 25:49Speaker 1: a lot of the energy behind someone like Grand Platner
- 25:52Speaker 1: goes away.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, let's peak He wrote an excellent column it's
- 25:57Speaker 2: up on foxnews dot com about Democrats and turning their
- 26:01Speaker 2: back on Israel, their anti Israel stuff. It's shocking. But
- 26:07Speaker 2: when is this ever going to end? This anti Israel
- 26:10Speaker 2: nonsense by the Democrats.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I don't know. And I think it's astonishing that the
- 26:16Speaker 1: Democratic Party, now seventy two percent of the party now
- 26:21Speaker 1: thinks we should not be supporting Israel, we should not
- 26:24Speaker 1: give any aid to Israel. That's really concentrated amongst young voters.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Young voters have been convinced by their left leaning faculties
- 26:34Speaker 1: that Israel is the villain in the Middle East. I mean,
- 26:36Speaker 1: it's a pretty astonishing thing when both left and right
- 26:41Speaker 1: have taken on Israel for various issues. On the left,
- 26:45Speaker 1: it's all about values. Right, it's about colonialism and this
- 26:50Speaker 1: spurious charge of genocide against the Palestinian people. People should
- 26:55Speaker 1: remember the Palestinians voted in Hamas a terror organization. Hamas
- 27:01Speaker 1: killed twelve hundred Israelis on October seven, twenty twenty three,
- 27:08Speaker 1: for no reason whatsoever except that they were going to
- 27:10Speaker 1: a concert and Hamas wants to kill Jews. I mean,
- 27:14Speaker 1: it is an appalling organization. My point in this article,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Mark is not that everyone has to support Israel, but
- 27:21Speaker 1: if you don't, you have to fess up to who
- 27:24Speaker 1: is who you are supporting. Are you supporting Hamas and
- 27:29Speaker 1: Hezbala and the Hutis, the proxies of Iran that carry
- 27:34Speaker 1: out their dirty work? Are you just basically pro Iran
- 27:37Speaker 1: because Israel's at war with Iran? There is no neutral territory.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It's a binary choice. So you know, you can sort
- 27:45Speaker 1: of say a pops on both their houses. That's kind
- 27:47Speaker 1: of understandable. We don't necessarily have to engage in every
- 27:52Speaker 1: Middle East conflict emotionally or militarily, but you can't really
- 27:56Speaker 1: say that I'm against Israel and not claim ye four.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I think what's interesting is on the right, the American
- 28:05Speaker 1: far right now, like Tucker Carlson, some of these people
- 28:09Speaker 1: are saying, well, we have no self interest in defending Israel.
- 28:12Speaker 1: We are not aligned with Israel. You know, there is
- 28:17Speaker 1: credibly no other nation, there's maybe one or two nations
- 28:21Speaker 1: in the entire world that have the military, intelligence and
- 28:25Speaker 1: technology capabilities of Israel that makes them an important ally
- 28:31Speaker 1: no matter what. Consider the intelligence we get from Masade, well,
- 28:36Speaker 1: probably the best intelligence organization on Earth, not just about
- 28:40Speaker 1: what's going on in the Middle East, but also about
- 28:43Speaker 1: what's going on in Russia, what's going on in China.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Masad is everywhere, and they are incredibly capable, and we
- 28:49Speaker 1: use their intelligence and yes, we share intelligence with them. Militarily,
- 28:56Speaker 1: Israel has an incredibly strong and capable army, which we
- 29:01Speaker 1: have seen because we're not the only people fighting in Iran.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Israel is helping with that as well. And technologically it's
- 29:09Speaker 1: the biggest source of startups other than the US and
- 29:11Speaker 1: the world. So which which really is beneficial to US?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Iran a hostilation that you know, talks about depth to
- 29:19Speaker 1: America repeatedly and has nothing or Israel. I mean, it's
- 29:22Speaker 1: just stupid.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Yeah, what would the Middle East look like without Israel there?
- 29:26Speaker 2: What would happen to the east of the country the.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Question, because by the way, it's not just Israel versus
- 29:31Speaker 1: all of the Arab countries, it's and person nation whatever.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It's also Shia Muslims versus Sunni Muslims. Israel is not
- 29:41Speaker 1: the only problem that they have, and we've seen this
- 29:44Speaker 1: and more right I being because Iran has taken on
- 29:46Speaker 1: bombing Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, et cetera, Leben Jordan and other
- 29:53Speaker 1: Gulf states that are now more or less aligned with Israel.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So it, you know, to now sort of throw is
- 30:00Speaker 1: under the bus. It makes no sense whatsoever. But these
- 30:03Speaker 1: people don't make sense.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Hey, let's peak on Friday the big ipo SpaceX. Is
- 30:11Speaker 2: that going to be the most impressive IPO we've ever seen?
- 30:13Speaker 2: Or is it going to be one big circus on Friday?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Well, I think what's interesting is that SpaceX is being
- 30:20Speaker 1: valued very very richly, at one hundred times last year's revenues,
- 30:26Speaker 1: just as an example.
- 30:28Speaker 3: It is.
- 30:30Speaker 1: A price tag that assumes everything goes right. It assumes
- 30:35Speaker 1: that Elon Musk will be able to fairly soon commercialize
- 30:40Speaker 1: data centers in outer space and make all kinds of
- 30:45Speaker 1: technological breakthroughs with driverless cars, reusable rocket launchers, et cetera.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I never bet against Elon Musk. I think the guy
- 30:54Speaker 1: is brilliant. The question is whether all of that brilliance
- 30:57Speaker 1: and excitement about this company has already the stock price.
- 31:00Speaker 1: The valuation price. I sort of think it is mark
- 31:04Speaker 1: And you know, I've taught I've had dinner the other
- 31:07Speaker 1: night with a few people who, all of whom have
- 31:10Speaker 1: some position in SpaceX because of private investments and so forth,
- 31:15Speaker 1: and there was a pretty good sense that they might
- 31:17Speaker 1: take some money off the table, and I think that
- 31:19Speaker 1: will keep the stock from you know, people are being
- 31:23Speaker 1: paid out who've been involved with this thing for several years,
- 31:26Speaker 1: and most have made multiples on their money. I think
- 31:30Speaker 1: you'll see some profit taking. But again, do you want
- 31:33Speaker 1: to own SpaceX or be involved for the long term? Yes,
- 31:37Speaker 1: I'm not sure I would buy on the offering.
- 31:40Speaker 2: No, And that day if it'll probably go crazy. The
- 31:43Speaker 2: price will just explode. But like the Tesla stock, it'll
- 31:49Speaker 2: go After that, it'll bounce up and down. There's plenty
- 31:51Speaker 2: of other times you can totally if you want to
- 31:53Speaker 2: get in totally.
- 31:54Speaker 1: And by the way, my view of the tech selloff
- 31:57Speaker 1: and the volatility and tech stocks recently, A valuations are high.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Everybody knows that. But also you have two other big
- 32:06Speaker 1: IPOs coming and Tropic and Open AI, and we're going
- 32:09Speaker 1: to see a lot of real data about how these
- 32:13Speaker 1: companies are doing, what they're spending, what their capital expenditures
- 32:17Speaker 1: look like, what their revenues look like. It takes a
- 32:19Speaker 1: little bit of the fantasyland aspect away from these valuations
- 32:24Speaker 1: and these investments and brings them down to earth. And
- 32:27Speaker 1: I think that's I think that's causing a little heartburn
- 32:31Speaker 1: amongst the AI enthusiast crowd.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Liz Peak brilliant has always great stuff. Go to you
- 32:38Speaker 2: can read Liz Peak's column Great Combat Israel at Foxnews
- 32:43Speaker 2: dot com and The Hill dot com. The columns are
- 32:46Speaker 2: up there, and follow her on Twitter and she's all
- 32:49Speaker 2: over television, and check out lizpeak dot com. Lizpeak, thanks
- 32:54Speaker 2: for being with us.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Mark, thanks for having me.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Take care all right, take care. Yes, SpaceX on Friday
- 33:03Speaker 2: price one hundred and thirty five dollars. It could go
- 33:06Speaker 2: absolutely crazy. It could go to two hundred five hundred twelvered.
- 33:09Speaker 2: You never know. But remember after that, like every elon
- 33:13Speaker 2: musk Stock, it'll go up and there'll be plenty of
- 33:16Speaker 2: other opportunities to get in. So Hey, coming up at
- 33:22Speaker 2: at twelve noon, Buck Sexton and Klay Travis will be here.
- 33:26Speaker 2: They do a really good show every day noon to three.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Then you got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 33:32Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. At three, you got Jesse Kelly. Every night
- 33:35Speaker 2: at six, you got Jimmy Faylor, really good very funny show.
- 33:38Speaker 2: It's every night at nine now on seven to ten.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Wr here's more Mark Simone on seven ten wor.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Well, Hey, a couple of beautiful days. Today. It'll be
- 33:53Speaker 2: some rain here and there tonight too. The rain will
- 33:56Speaker 2: get worse tomorrow. It might be some rain Friday night. Now,
- 33:59Speaker 2: tonight is the big game, Madison Square Garden Game four. Now,
- 34:05Speaker 2: when the President came in, they created this frozen zone
- 34:09Speaker 2: that was some thought way too big. It was like
- 34:13Speaker 2: thirty fifth Street down to thirtieth Street. It was like
- 34:15Speaker 2: five blocks. It was from sixth Avenue to eighth Avenue
- 34:19Speaker 2: is a big, huge frozen zone. But that's for the
- 34:21Speaker 2: President coming in. Well, for some stupid reason, they've decided
- 34:25Speaker 2: to do it again tonight for the game. So it'll
- 34:28Speaker 2: be a frozen zone from like sixth to eighth Avenue,
- 34:32Speaker 2: thirty fifth to thirtieth. Nobody will be allowed in unless
- 34:35Speaker 2: you have a ticket to the game. Now, there are
- 34:37Speaker 2: restaurants and things in that frozen zone. I don't know
- 34:39Speaker 2: how people get into them. I guess you got to
- 34:41Speaker 2: prove you got a reservation or something like that. But
- 34:44Speaker 2: it's going to cause a messy Nicks are not happy
- 34:47Speaker 2: James Dolan the garden. They're not happy criticizing the mayor
- 34:51Speaker 2: for sticking them with this frozen zone. I guess the
- 34:53Speaker 2: reason is they don't want a big Watch party forming
- 34:56Speaker 2: and getting out of hand like what happened in Bryant
- 34:59Speaker 2: Park the other Hey, we got a lot to get
- 35:01Speaker 2: to in the next hour. We'll get to Scott Belly
- 35:05Speaker 2: and a whole lot more coming up right after the news.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Mark Simone here on seven to ten Woir
