- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Planet Butter,
- 0:01my planet where I hopefully inspire you to take fun seriously
- 0:06by being intucentric,
- 0:08leading with intuition while prioritizing self-control and
- 0:12self-expression in the
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: best interest of all.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: Every episode is designed to provoke consciousness through entertaining
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: perspectives and applied Planet Butter's philosophy of intucentricism.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Say it with me.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Intucentric-ism.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: into centricism.
- 0:32Each week we explore new ways of applying Planet Butter's
- 0:35critical and creative
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: thinking lens to modern society.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: I'm Jordan Blizzard Planet.
- 0:42Thanks for joining me in our 92nd episode where we'll continue
- 0:48to relate Planet
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Butter's philosophy to Earth's current society.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Today,
- 0:53we'll be doing that with a bit of a story time episode
- 0:57featuring a perspective
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: dance with evolution,
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: a random page read supporting this evolution boogie,
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: and a snippet from my latest book,
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Inducentric,
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: to seal the boogie and much more.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: All the boogies.
- 1:13As always,
- 1:14email me any questions you have about your world or Planet
- 1:18Butter's life approach.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: Myplanetoyours at gmail.com.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: myplanetoyours at gmail.com.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: When I do these story time type of episodes,
- 1:30sometimes I feel like it's my confession to the universe framed
- 1:34in a valuable way
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: for you.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: But there's something about my personal responsibility where it's like,
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: if I don't broadcast it,
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: then I'm not in alignment.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Here's to the podcast.
- 1:51all right so let's start well first of all guys i am wearing
- 1:55well i have to i'm
- 1:56still making the button for the choker so this is the choker
- 2:02from that doha fabric
- 2:04so now the last three episodes we wore the first top that i
- 2:07made then we were the
- 2:08second top that i made and now we got this cute little choker
- 2:11i'm gonna put a
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: wooden button on it but it's a work in progress so hang on we are
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: For now,
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: we tie it in the back,
- 2:21which reminds me of this kind of scary story that I used to
- 2:25love when I was a kid.
- 2:28The girl wore something like this,
- 2:31and if they untied it from her neck,
- 2:34her head fell off.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And then at the end of the book, her head fell off.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Spoiler alert.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: I guess not really an alert because I did it after the fact.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Very planet butter of me.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Anyway, now we've got the clothing update, sort of.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm wearing this then.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Remember the lady I told you from that,
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: one of the designers that I had met in Bali,
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: blah.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: We had our meeting.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: It went well.
- 3:03She wants to teach me how to properly sew because I showed her
- 3:07my stitches and
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: she's like,
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: what the fuck is this?
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: It's street style.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: But I mean it.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: That's the thing.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: It does look good if I do say some myself.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And I get lots of compliments on both tops everywhere I wear them.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So I will not have it.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: But I will definitely learn from her how to sew quote unquote properly.
- 3:32I was just doing it intuitively as being into centric humans on
- 3:37Planet Butter.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Duh.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: So that's still in the works.
- 3:41And the way I'm going to do it,
- 3:42and it's fun to share with you guys because
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: You guys are the gentlemen of Planet Butter.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: We don't have the ladies really yet.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: There's still only, I think we're at, it's 98.2% men on here.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: Hi guys.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: So if you're wives,
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: daughters,
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: girlfriends,
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: if you guys want to wear some feminine looking tops,
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: let me know.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: The way I'm doing it is made to order.
- 4:04And it's kind of like a custom piece because depending on where
- 4:07I am in the world,
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: you choose which style of the two that I've made or the choker.
- 4:14And then I will send you the options of fabric we have on hand
- 4:20or available,
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: I should say,
- 4:23because we don't purchase the fabric or make the items until
- 4:28they are ordered.
- 4:29Hence,
- 4:30made to order and custom because you're choosing your fabric
- 4:34and of the two styles.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, super cool.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: So depending where I am in the world, you get a different type of fabric.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Let me know.
- 4:43You can email me,
- 4:43myplanetsyours at gmail.com or Instagram at planetbetter.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Next, book update, you guys.
- 4:53So these were important to me to share at the top because then
- 4:56we're going to get
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: into the whole evolutionary stuff.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And because I'm wearing this, so we needed to acknowledge it.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Now the book.
- 5:04So guys,
- 5:04it's been pretty crazy,
- 5:05as you guys know,
- 5:06if you've been watching at all.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: So the book is now done again because what had happened is we,
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: as you maybe last know,
- 5:21the e-book has been published and now I recently unpublished it
- 5:25because when it got
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: to the paperback and hardcover,
- 5:29first there were back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back
- 5:31tech issues with even
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: just downloading the files.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And then after we got through that hurdle, then it became...
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Every little step had issues, issues, issues.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: And it resulted in me excitedly reviewing the book again.
- 5:52So the latest is I went through and reviewed all the writing
- 6:00again and adjusted all
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: of the art to suit for the necessary positioning for printing purposes.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Now, guys, remember, I'm doing like 15 people's jobs.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Okay, so that's also why there's so many tech hurdles.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't per se know what I'm doing.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: We're just intucentrically navigating such as such as such as such.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And it's creating all this wonderful content.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: So, still working, isn't it?
- 6:30So,
- 6:31that said,
- 6:33the ebook has been pulled,
- 6:34which means none of it is published.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Gotcha.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: This is actually just one big giant marketing scheme.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Oh, man.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: So I am really excited,
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: which reminds me,
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: we do have a live seed of connection to Rick Rubin looking at the book to
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: potentially do the...
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: That was our brains.
- 7:03Mine and Rick Rubin's going...
- 7:05Mine's obviously the left one with the flower.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: So how cool is that?
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: So we have a live connection actively.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: in the mix,
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: because if you are new here,
- 7:18I have been on a mission for Rick Rubin to be cordially invited
- 7:23to write the
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: foreword to Inducentric,
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: your healthy ego.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: Because when I read The Creative Act by Rick Rubin,
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: I was like,
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: wow,
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: I am entirely mirrored by this person.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: He gets it.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: That's how I felt.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I was like, he gets it.
- 7:40Obviously,
- 7:40there was additional thought-provoking messages he has
- 7:44provided,
- 7:45but
- 7:45The way I have approached Planet Butter through my Intucentric
- 7:49way of being was
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: reflected to me through Rick Rubin's words and therefore his thoughts.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, wow, this man's mind and my mind belong in a collaboration.
- 8:02So when I created Intucentric,
- 8:04I was like,
- 8:05this man needs to write the foreword.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: And so off I went.
- 8:10We've even published the book with a forward that says to be
- 8:14written by Rick.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Well, we didn't publish the book.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: We wrote, well, it's to be published with to be written by Rick Rubin.
- 8:20But the fact that we've still had all of these little hurdle
- 8:23babies as this is unfolding.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: And right now we have a live connection to this man.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: I'm kind of like,
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: and it's not the first live connection either,
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: which just tells me we are on track now.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: So I'm like,
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: well,
- 8:36perhaps the universe wants the book to be published with the
- 8:39foreword by Rick
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Rubin.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: So maybe that's the uni stall, as we call it on Planet Butter.
- 8:46which is basically when it's a planet butter phrase blizzard's
- 8:50blictionary.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: We have words and phrases that I share on the planet butter sub stack.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Uninstall is one of them.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: It's basically when the universe is creating,
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: uh,
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: something so much cooler than we can imagine something like that.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I don't know if that's the precise language.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: That's why we write it down.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So, okay.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: That said,
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: The book is up in the air.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Still waiting to land.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: Still on the jet.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: The Planet Butter Jet.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: All right, guys.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: Onwards.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Onward.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: An individual's unique evolution.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: That's another one of our words.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Now, into this little perspective boogie of evolution.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: I love this flower so much.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: I was wearing it, but then I took it out.
- 9:45Because I was like,
- 9:45that's a lot going on between the earrings and the choker.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: So instead I decided to just sniff it occasionally and spin it around.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 9:57So I was at the gym today and I saw this person that I've met
- 10:01in passing and I just
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: said,
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: how are you doing?
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: And he said, up and down.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Get it?
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Because we're at the gym and we move a lot of things up and down.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: And I said, preferably rotationally.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: He obviously, I mean, not obviously, but so spider on my book.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: Hello.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: He's very small and he moves quite fast.
- 10:28I saw this little girl by the river the other day with little
- 10:33spidey hands like trying.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: Oh my God, it's coming towards me.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Hi, baby.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Do you want to come in the flower?
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: I'll show you guys.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: I think I'm scaring him.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Also, that reminds me, I saw, he's on the finger.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Look.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, he's on my finger.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, we see he's fast.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: I think he's creating a web on me.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Dude, I'm in the middle of my show.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, gosh.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Hey.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: So it went over that guy's head, the rotational movement commentary.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: But the important thing is, that's what hit me.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: When I said that, I had this whole process come into my brain of
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: The fact that we're not up and down,
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: like our moods,
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: which is all relevant to the rest of the episode,
- 11:33because what we do is we're talking about evolution here and
- 11:38we're going to relate
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: it.
- 11:39We're talking about evolution and we're going to relate it to
- 11:43Planet Butter's
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: concept of oscillation,
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: specifically my oscillation as the living,
- 11:48breathing example of being into centric in all of my vulnerable
- 11:51efforts and
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: confessions to the universe in the best interest of all.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: So.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: We're not our moods, our emotions, all these things.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: We're not up and down.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: We are not up and down.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: We are rotational.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Everything is interconnected, right?
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: So if the way we move in the gym and the way our moods,
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: well,
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: especially as women,
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: which you guys,
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: most of you aren't,
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: but as women,
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: the mood swings,
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: if you must.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Hormones changing constantly, whatever, all that stuff.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: It's not, it's like, are hormones changing, for example?
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: It's a cycle, right?
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: It's a 27, 28 day cycle.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: So cycle is rotational.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: So everything is rotational.
- 12:47So this idea of this man saying up and down,
- 12:51obviously terrible joke,
- 12:53but...
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: saying up and down,
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: inspiring me to say,
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: preferably rotationally,
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: and then connecting it to this broader picture,
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: as we do,
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: of the fact that,
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: as we always relate,
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: is everything is interconnected,
- 13:10and that means that even if and when our emotions are seemingly
- 13:16up and down,
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: we are still
- 13:22rotating because we're on earth and therefore evolving because
- 13:25that's what that's
- 13:26what we're doing so what excited me about that is in relation
- 13:35to oscillation which
- 13:39is as planet butter defines it wavering between who we've been
- 13:43and who we want to
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: be
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: So even by the way my hands just moved,
- 13:48it's like wavering between who we want to be is like this back
- 13:51and forth kind of
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: thing.
- 13:52So for those of you listening,
- 13:54my hands are going left to right in front of me.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: And so what that looks like is linear motion.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: However,
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: the reality is our wavering,
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: it's that concept of however many steps forward,
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: however many steps back,
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: blah.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: It's a dance, a rotational dance, an evolutionary dance.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I love talking about things as dances, perspective dancing.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Right, guys?
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: So I say write in the spirit of being like, you with me?
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: So that said,
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: we're going to do a random,
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: quote unquote,
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: random page read from,
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: again,
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: we did this book a couple weeks ago.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: The Art of Clear Thinking by Hazard Lee.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: This was a random page, quote unquote, random.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: Nothing's random.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: Everything's interconnected.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: So this was my random page read from this morning.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: I rolled over in bed.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: I love,
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: that's my favorite thing to do is like first thing in the morning,
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: just like because my mind is like the clearest.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: So there's less of a,
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: it just feels like the most pure because I'm at my purest,
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: most like a very delicate state.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: So,
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: And, okay, wait.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Before we get in, this is a big drum roll.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: Before we get into the random page read,
- 15:12what I want to make sure I say about this random page read is I
- 15:17extracted sentences
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: from these two pages,
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: 138 and 139,
- 15:28and I'm stringing together sentences that are serving the
- 15:32podcast because...
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: This isn't about this book and his context,
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: but it is from his book and his context,
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: which is why it's,
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: well,
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: you'll see.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: All right, now we can read.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: So again, The Art of Clear Thinking by Hazard Lee.
- 15:51Our brains merge memory and processing together into an
- 15:54extraordinarily effective package.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And through neuroplasticity, our brains can quickly rewire themselves
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: adapting to new and changing conditions.
- 16:07Nothing comes close to the way our minds can connect one
- 16:11pattern to a seemingly
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: unrelated different pattern,
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: forming the basis for creativity.
- 16:20Humans are great at making decisions because of our ability to
- 16:24make sense of
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: things,
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: to weave a lifetime of knowledge in dozens of fields across thousands of
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: experiences into an overlapping model of our understanding.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: We can think conceptually, critically, metaphorically, and imaginatively.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: So, how about that, guys?
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Let's go through it.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: So,
- 16:53in relation to oscillation being the wavering between who we've
- 16:56been and who we
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: want to be,
- 16:57our brains merge memory and processing together into an
- 17:00extraordinarily effective
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: package.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Yes?
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: So,
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: if that's the case,
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: which it is,
- 17:06this means that our decision to be into centric and embody
- 17:13relentless optimism
- 17:16When we merge our memory and our processing of our day-to-day
- 17:22experiences,
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: when we are self-reflecting on our life,
- 17:27especially in those moments of wavering between who we've been
- 17:30and who we want to
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: be,
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: and we choose to be anti-centric and embody relentless optimism,
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: what we can do is
- 17:43integrate that relentless optimism into this quote-unquote
- 17:47effective package that
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: our memory and our processing have created.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: So by obviously,
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: and I say that with intention,
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: obviously by choosing to be relentlessly optimistic,
- 17:59we can leverage our brain's natural way of processing
- 18:04information to better serve
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: ourselves,
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: to increase
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: the likelihood of becoming who we want to be.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: And I will ground this into my lived examples for you very soon.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: So next, his next sentence.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: And through neuroplasticity,
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: our brains can quickly rewire themselves,
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: adapting to new and changing conditions.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, so again, as we self-reflect and self-connect...
- 18:34infuse our relentless optimism onto our wavering between who
- 18:38we've been and who we want to be.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: By being relentlessly optimistic,
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: again,
- 18:43our natural neuroplasticity rewires itself and adapts to the
- 18:51new and changing
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: conditions,
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: which is that oscillation.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: Are you guys with me?
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'll pause here to give the example.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: So now,
- 19:03since my arriving in bali again post jungle post yeah post
- 19:11jungle we're in this new
- 19:13neighborhood we're in new home all the things right you guys
- 19:19saw all of that now
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: i've been so excited as you guys have seen again in the past episodes
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: about the newness.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yay, new, new, new.
- 19:31And I can be excited about the newness because I embody being
- 19:36into-centric.
- 19:38I've invested my life into prioritizing self-control and
- 19:44self-expression in the
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: best interest of all by leading with my intuition.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: So I know that the newness is everything that I want and need
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: It's what I've previously invested my time into.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: It's the compounding result of what I've invested my time into.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, time's not linear, so we don't know the way this flows.
- 20:07But the inevitability of the compounding of my own intention
- 20:14and efforts will
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: inevitably be in the best interest of all.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: And therefore...
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: what I, what is in my best interest, right?
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: So it's very exciting.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: However, oscillation is still a massive part of this.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: And it's really hard.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: It's really hard.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: I've had a few days in the last like 10 days where I'm like, holy shit.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Like the littlest of things just feels so energetically intense.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: And I'm like,
- 20:57because it's like I'm like I don't like the fear of regression
- 21:03that's that's part
- 21:04of this really in all my vulnerability guys really and I'm like
- 21:11well and then I
- 21:12quickly perspective dance it because I'm like well we've come
- 21:15too far we can't
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: regress there's no such thing boom sealed it done neuroplasticity papa
- 21:22out the door see you later see so relentless optimism
- 21:28regression not an option also
- 21:31all the that we've just worked through it's like you didn't go
- 21:36all the way there
- 21:37here to regress we are just oscillating which means i'm
- 21:45wavering between who i've
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: been and who i want to be so
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: In this newness, I am who I want to be.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: I'm where I want to be.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: I'm aligned.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: And part of alignment is oscillation.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: So that means sometimes finding myself in situations that trigger me,
- 22:05finding myself in situations that mirror past versions of me
- 22:09where I'm like,
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: oh,
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be here actually.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Later.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: To put it so simply.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: And it's really important to me to communicate this to you guys because,
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: and I was on the phone with my best friend this morning,
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: Diana,
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Diana Ray,
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: look her up.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: She's an incredible artist.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: So we're on the phone this morning and I'm like,
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: fuck dude,
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: if it's,
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: if I'm having a really hard time,
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: right?
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Like right now, I mean, you know, it's wavering.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: So it's like,
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Right now, I'm not having a hard time.
- 22:47But like when I've had those moments of oscillation,
- 22:49I'm like,
- 22:50damn,
- 22:50dude.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: And the damn dude comes from my reflection,
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: my not wanting to regress,
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: which again,
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I quickly pivoted.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: However,
- 23:01my recognition that I am oscillating in these certain
- 23:07situations and that they are
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: necessary.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: I even tried to like talk myself into this idea of like,
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: There's no room for oscillation.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: We're not going to oscillate.
- 23:17And then I quickly reread my book into Centric and I'm like,
- 23:21yeah,
- 23:21no,
- 23:21oscillation is necessary.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: It is necessary.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: It is so necessary.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: And what was cool about it is there was a couple of situations.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: Like for example,
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: one,
- 23:30I went to a dinner with a good friend of mine and she had
- 23:33invited this other person
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: who was a stranger to me.
- 23:37And I had bumped into another person at that same restaurant on
- 23:42both of these meetings.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: People,
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: not my friend,
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: like the other two people that I had seen,
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: I'm like,
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: hmm,
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: these are not people I want to be around.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: They're lovely people.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: But lovely doesn't mean surround yourself.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, okay.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: Oscillation.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Even though I am in my newness, that's a form of oscillating, being in.
- 24:08around energies that reflect past versions of myself and it's
- 24:16the conscious
- 24:17decision to say to myself oh this is an oscillation and i don't
- 24:21want to be here and
- 24:22i will not spend more time with them even though they're lovely
- 24:25lovely doesn't mean
- 24:26surround yourself right guys and and so there was something i
- 24:30was going to say
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: about that um we lost oh i got it so
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: with that example, very soon after, was that that night?
- 24:45Or basically I was affirmed in my alignment through very little
- 24:50things like,
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: I'm actually not remembering what happened after that dinner,
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: but there's one example where
- 24:59I had an oscillating moment that immediately after I got locker
- 25:04number 11 at my spa.
- 25:06And it's like,
- 25:07these are the tiny things that I'm just like,
- 25:09ha,
- 25:09affirmed.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Because I'm feeling a little bit crazy.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: And sometimes those are the language of the universe, right?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: The little numbers.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: they're fun, they're cute, and they are affirming.
- 25:19So it's like,
- 25:19let it be grounding,
- 25:20you know,
- 25:21and just remember,
- 25:22it is alignment.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: And it, an oscillation is part of alignment sometimes.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: And I think that's a really tricky thing to dance with.
- 25:30So hopefully this is being communicated in a way that lands
- 25:35with you to some degree
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: or inspires questions for you to ask me,
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: myplanetsyours at gmail.com.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: So the oscillations have been quite crazy.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: Um,
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: small baby ones,
- 25:46but like the wavering is very intense because I'm so excited
- 25:51about the newness and
- 25:53I'm present in the newness and I'm embodying my entire most
- 25:59current version of
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: myself,
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: meaning I'm closest to who I want to be.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: And then the processing of that, the self-reflecting on these moments and
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: the practice of not shaming myself,
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: the practice of not judging myself,
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: the practice of not judging other people.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: When I am in those oscillations, example, those people are lovely.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: I'm not judging them for who they are,
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: what they are or anything,
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: but they are not people I want to spend my time with.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And so the next bit in this book,
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: again,
- 26:35nothing comes close to the way our minds can connect one
- 26:37pattern to a seemingly
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: unrelated different pattern forming the basis for creativity.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Well, I just love that one because planet butter.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: Literally.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: One pattern.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Peanut butter.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: My love for peanut butter.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: And my love for listening to my intuition,
- 26:59prioritizing self-control and self-expression in the best
- 27:01interest of all under one
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: ecosystem.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Planet butter.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Creativity.
- 27:08just a little nugget for you to remember that everything is
- 27:11interconnected and also
- 27:14tying it to this book and the clothes and all the things and
- 27:17all the loops that
- 27:17I've been spelling out for you guys through all the other story
- 27:20time episodes where
- 27:21it's like how wild it is that all these things are seemingly
- 27:27connected to each
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: other and they are connected to each other,
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: but I'm actually investing as much attention as
- 27:34into my life and the analysis of it to such a scary degree that
- 27:40I'm tracking the
- 27:42connections and doing my best as humanly possible in my alien
- 27:47ways to share with
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: you.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: Last bit from this book, The Art of Clear Thinking by Hazel Lee.
- 27:57So he says,
- 27:59humans are great at making decisions because of our ability to
- 28:02make sense of things.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: to weave a lifetime of knowledge in dozens of fields across thousands of
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: experiences into an overlapping model of understanding.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: We can think conceptually, critically, metaphorically, and imaginatively.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: How beautiful.
- 28:16Healthy reminder for all of us,
- 28:19I think,
- 28:19and that's why I wanted to highlight that as well.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: And of course, talk about a model of understanding is
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: as I see it, as Planet Butter sees it, being intucentric.
- 28:38Leading with intuition while prioritizing self-control and
- 28:41self-expression in the
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: best interest of all.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Through personal responsibility,
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: which we define as the willingness to do more,
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: do less,
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: and pivot what we can control.
- 28:53And we do that through intucentricism's fundamental concepts of
- 29:01self-friendship
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Embracing, understanding, and enjoying ourselves.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Our three core methods,
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: boundaries,
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: confidence,
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: alignment,
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: and the planet butter jet,
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: ring of consciousness.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Our cycle for decision-making, intuition, sensations, action, sensations.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: Again,
- 29:21those three concepts all work together to inform our personal
- 29:27responsibility and
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: also embody our personal responsibility and
- 29:32and furthermore ultimately be into centric it's in the best
- 29:39interest of all we're
- 29:43going to leave the book alone now thank you hazardly and even
- 29:51with all the
- 29:52oscillations and such everything is rooted in the first core
- 29:58method boundaries
- 30:01And that's why relentless optimism and being lovingly merciless
- 30:05with ourselves is
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: absolutely necessary.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: It really is.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And, oh, did I ever finish what I was saying about my friend, Diana?
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: Basically,
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: I was like,
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: damn,
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: if it's hard for me and I'm really good at having mental,
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: like my mental strength is supreme,
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: then I
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: damn, it must be so hard for so many people.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: And that is why I make this show.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: And that is why it feels like a confession to the universe.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: Because I'm like,
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: I am really good at handling shit,
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: like taking personal responsibility,
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: processing life,
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: and communicating it.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: So that is what I'm here to do.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: That's why Planet Butter sent me to Earth.
- 30:55And...
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: yeah, it's really fascinating because, and then she affirmed it.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: She's like, yeah, you are really good at it.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: So I don't know how, I don't know how people do it.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, it's crazy.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: Oh gosh.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: So now I'll tell you also how I grounded in these oscillating moments.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Uh,
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Lots of breath play.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Actually, not lots, but compared to what I would.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: I was going crazy.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: So much breath play through those last three months.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: That was really a reliable source for me.
- 31:37But now,
- 31:38because I'm in Bali,
- 31:39I have access to proper gym and proper sauna and ice bath.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: So I've been doing more of that.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: So that's grounding for me.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Beach, movement, sauna, ice.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: I understand sauna and ice bath might not be...
- 31:54available to everybody but or the beach necessarily however you
- 31:58can move your
- 31:59bodies and you can do breath play hopefully and also just like
- 32:05again this is just
- 32:06using myself as an example i'm not here to tell you what to do
- 32:09it's just you guys
- 32:10can consider this because i'm living breathing and embodying my
- 32:14little philosophy
- 32:15that i am sharing my big giant philosophy that i'm sharing and
- 32:21also i woke up in
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: the middle of the night last night
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: With a little bit of residual guilt from,
- 32:28I got really frustrated on the phone with the management
- 32:32company of this place.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: And I was like, because I had communicated my boundary multiple times.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: It was quite a simple one, too.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: Ring the doorbell before you walk in on a girl.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:49and communicate before you make an appointment with 10 people
- 32:53at my front door
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: while I'm in the middle of my work day.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Please, just check in.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
- 33:04After having already communicated my boundary multiple times
- 33:07and then still
- 33:08SPEAKER_00: disrespecting it,
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: I got frustrated,
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: really frustrated.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: And I know by my smile,
- 33:14you might not think that I can get frustrated because I've had
- 33:17friends be like,
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: I can't imagine,
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: like before they were close with me,
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: they're like,
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: I can't imagine you frustrated.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, really?
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: I can get kind of bitchy, right?
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Like, can't we all?
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: And if you can't, you're not being honest with yourself.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: Like you have attitude.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: You just haven't let yourself express it.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Anyway,
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: so I woke up in the middle of the night because I was like,
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: I hate that I got so frustrated.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like,
- 33:43how do you not understand like basic respect for a person
- 33:48living in a property of
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: yours?
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: Like, anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: with the residuals of it.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: And I, I grounded myself by watching my podcast from last week.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: And then I did a breath play session and fell back to sleep.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: But like, it wasn't just the frustration, right?
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: It's the compounding,
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: which we also kind of touched on of like the multiple series of little
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: oscillations,
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: but then also like with oscillating,
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: with oscillating,
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: there are many steps forward as well.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Like,
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: that Rick Rubin connection also surfaced during this time.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: And the book is now done again.
- 34:32And like,
- 34:34we've made some other amazing friends and we're really happy in
- 34:37this location.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: And like the newness is still like, everything is live at the same time.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Like the newness,
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: the oscillations,
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: the excitement,
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: the,
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: the necessary perspective dancing about whatever comes up.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: That's not ideal.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: And,
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they just, it coexists.
- 34:59It coexists and it's holding space to allow ourselves to let
- 35:04everything coexist,
- 35:05digest them to a degree that I can formulate it into this
- 35:08podcast and hopefully
- 35:10SPEAKER_00: give you value.
- 35:13So I'm going to close this lovely little episode with a not so
- 35:22at all random,
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: because this one isn't a random,
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: I didn't
- 35:25turn to this page i consciously decided we're going to be
- 35:28reading from this so we
- 35:32will be reading a little excerpt from planet butter's latest
- 35:36book into centric your
- 35:38healthy ego coming soon honestly anybody watching this at any
- 35:44point in time is
- 35:44going to be so confused is a book available is it not i don't
- 35:48understand blah blah
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: blah
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: You have to go to planetbutter.com.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: Check it out.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: See if it's there.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: See if it's not.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: My flower fell when I just did that.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: It's because we're dropping out.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: So we will be reading this excerpt from Inducentric,
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: Your Healthy Ego,
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter's latest book.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: It's a mixed media chapter book designed to be read forwards,
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: backwards,
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: or one random page read at a time.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 36:23SPEAKER_00: This section is called Believing is Seeing.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: And again, it's just a little excerpt.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: If you want to read the whole thing, get the book when it's ready.
- 36:33So,
- 36:34seeing is believing is a lame excuse for humans choosing to
- 36:38live less consciously.
- 36:41SPEAKER_00: Ecocentric.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 36:44You need something to be tangible or visible to believe it to
- 36:48be true or real?
- 36:53Your entire existence is a physical expression of your
- 36:59intangible emotional experiences.
- 37:03Believing is seeing is Planet Butter's language for a
- 37:06self-fulfilling prophecy,
- 37:08particularly as it relates to the self-control and
- 37:11self-expression aspect of being
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: intucentric,
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: intuitively trusting,
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: disciplinary,
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: strategic,
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: and fun.
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: Who we believe ourselves to be,
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: and actualizing it.
- 37:27Being egocentric will be labeled as delusional by those stuck
- 37:33in the egocentric way
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: of being because it's seemingly irrational and illogical.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 37:43Now that relates to all the oscillations and the relentless
- 37:46optimism being infused
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: into these periods of our lives because the relentless optimism
- 37:53and the believing is seeing are kind of like best friends
- 37:56because the more
- 37:58optimistic we are and the more we believe so that we can see
- 38:01what we want to be,
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: then it happens.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: See you on the Planet Butter Jet.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: That sounded like goofy.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: Did we do it?
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: I think we did it.
- 38:19Oh yeah,
- 38:19wait,
- 38:19there is one last little quote that I came up with I wanted to
- 38:23tell you guys.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: Everything is nothing we can imagine and always obvious in retrospect.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Sit with it.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Let me know what you think.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: Email me.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: Myplanettoyours at gmail.com.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: Myplanettoyours at gmail.com.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: Now, we did it again.
