- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from midtown Manhattan.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on seven ten wo R.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Well, the mayoral race. Will give you all the latest
- 0:13Speaker 3: all the latest polling information, all the latest info coming
- 0:16Speaker 3: up in just a second. We'll get to the World
- 0:18Speaker 3: Series last night. We'll get to Joe Biden. There's a
- 0:22Speaker 3: new report coming out about how really bad he was.
- 0:25Speaker 3: At the end, we'll get to the president's trip to Asia.
- 0:29Speaker 3: It's a pretty amazing trip. We'll get to a ballroom
- 0:32Speaker 3: derangement syndrome and more. Don't forget this is the last
- 0:36Speaker 3: week of daylight saving time, starting Sunday. It's going to
- 0:40Speaker 3: be dark out five point fifteen, five point thirty. It's
- 0:44Speaker 3: just terrible. It takes a lot of getting used to.
- 0:47Speaker 3: So where do we stand in the mayle race. Well,
- 0:50Speaker 3: it doesn't look good, Momdannie maintains a pretty comfortable lead.
- 0:55Speaker 3: And well, i'll give you the latest poll, the latest poll.
- 1:00Speaker 3: And again, these are not great polls. These are these
- 1:02Speaker 3: college polls which don't mean much of anything. But the
- 1:06Speaker 3: latest one, the latest college poll shows Andrew Cuomo ten
- 1:11Speaker 3: points behind. Now, there was a previous poll. Again, these
- 1:14Speaker 3: are all junk polls, but it showed him twenty points behind.
- 1:18Speaker 3: So you know you're in real trouble when you're cheering
- 1:22Speaker 3: that you rose up to only ten points behind. Ten
- 1:24Speaker 3: points behind is still ten points behind. Now, what's interesting
- 1:28Speaker 3: in this poll is if Sleewood dropped out, we don't
- 1:34Speaker 3: think Curtis needs to drop out second to solve Cuomo's problems.
- 1:38Speaker 3: His unlikeability, his terrible track record as governor turned off
- 1:42Speaker 3: a lot of people. That's why he's been just stumbling
- 1:46Speaker 3: through this campaign. You know, in the had he not
- 1:49Speaker 3: been in the primary, we might be in a different place.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Had he stayed out of this, Eric Adams would have
- 1:55Speaker 3: run in the Democratic primary, and who knows, he might
- 1:57Speaker 3: have had a much better shot at beating Mom down
- 2:00Speaker 3: in the primary. We know one thing that Cuomo absolutely
- 2:04Speaker 3: screwed up in the primaries. He got killed in both debates.
- 2:08Speaker 3: He lost by a lot in the primary, had nothing
- 2:11Speaker 3: to do with the wrong choice. He lost by a
- 2:13Speaker 3: lot in the popular vote, and because of him, we
- 2:16Speaker 3: got Mam Donni as the Democratic nominee. Maybe Eric Adams
- 2:20Speaker 3: could have stopped him had there been no Cuomo. But
- 2:23Speaker 3: and if Cuomo got out of the race, there is
- 2:25Speaker 3: one poll that came out on Friday. The only poll
- 2:29Speaker 3: that at that time was after the debates that showed
- 2:32Speaker 3: Curtis would do better against Mam Donni, then Cuomo would
- 2:36Speaker 3: by two points if it were a two man race.
- 2:39Speaker 3: But here's the latest in this poll. If Curtis were
- 2:42Speaker 3: to drop out now, Cuomo in the latest poll ten
- 2:45Speaker 3: points behind us Mam Donnie forty four percent, Cuomo thirty
- 2:49Speaker 3: four percent. So Mam Donni has a ten point lead
- 2:53Speaker 3: now in this polling in all the data, if you
- 2:55Speaker 3: go through it, if Curtis were to drop out, only
- 2:58Speaker 3: thirty six percent of his votes would go to Cuomo,
- 3:01Speaker 3: and they'd surveyed these people pretty carefully, so out of
- 3:04Speaker 3: the courtis y wild vote. If he dropped out, Cuomo
- 3:06Speaker 3: would only get thirty six percent of that vote, which
- 3:10Speaker 3: would give him another four percent. So what that means
- 3:14Speaker 3: is if if Curtis were out of the race in
- 3:16Speaker 3: this poll, it would be Mam Donni forty four percent,
- 3:20Speaker 3: Cuomo thirty eight percent. So still not good. The only
- 3:24Speaker 3: thing that could change all of this is massive turnout,
- 3:29Speaker 3: and it looks like we're getting that so far. Turnout
- 3:31Speaker 3: in the early voting, which is now three days. This
- 3:34Speaker 3: will be day four early voting is almost five hundred
- 3:39Speaker 3: percent above normal, above the last few elections. So if
- 3:44Speaker 3: there's massive turnout, that could change things, and that depends
- 3:47Speaker 3: who turns out. It could be you know, these crazy
- 3:50Speaker 3: twenty somethings who love Mom Donni. But pole watchers are
- 3:55Speaker 3: saying it looks like boomers gen xers are dominating. That's
- 4:00Speaker 3: people over fifty and they generally don't go for Mom Donnie.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So in fact, some poll watchers are saying that they
- 4:08Speaker 3: believe sixty six h sixty percent of the ballots people
- 4:12Speaker 3: over fifty, So that could be a help to Cuomo
- 4:15Speaker 3: or Curtis. So we're up to about three three hundred
- 4:21Speaker 3: and fifty thousand voters so far, So if that continues,
- 4:25Speaker 3: we're on track to get record, you know, close to
- 4:29Speaker 3: two million votes, which is extremely high turnout. That's how
- 4:32Speaker 3: Giuliani beat Dinkins, very very high turnout. Republicans have won
- 4:37Speaker 3: five of the last eight mayoral elections, but it requires
- 4:42Speaker 3: extremely high turnout to do it. Now, you could argue,
- 4:47Speaker 3: some will argue, well, you can't count Bloomberg because he
- 4:48Speaker 3: spent something like one hundred million of his own money
- 4:51Speaker 3: for a huge turnout operation. Yeah. Maybe, but Republicans can win.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So Mam Donnie caught in a huge lie. Now everybody's
- 5:01Speaker 3: waiting to see if this is a big factor. We
- 5:03Speaker 3: don't know how many people are watching this, paying attention
- 5:06Speaker 3: to this, how focused there on this incident. But Mamdanie
- 5:10Speaker 3: got caught in a huge lie. He told the story
- 5:13Speaker 3: about his aunt after nine to eleven. She had problems
- 5:17Speaker 3: riding the subway because she wore the Muslim garb and
- 5:21Speaker 3: she would get stairs. And who knows what else but
- 5:24Speaker 3: this poor aunt to his on the subway in New
- 5:27Speaker 3: York right after nine to eleven, How tough it was.
- 5:29Speaker 3: He told this tear jerking story. People checked his aunt
- 5:34Speaker 3: wasn't in New York after nine to eleven. She lived
- 5:38Speaker 3: ten thousand miles away in another continent. She wasn't here.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And then it turns out his aunt never wears a
- 5:45Speaker 3: he job, never wears any Muslim garb, just looks like
- 5:48Speaker 3: anybody else on the subway. So a major, major lie.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Now this is all proven detailed that he out and
- 5:56Speaker 3: out lied about this aunt. He had to confess yesterday.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So he confessed that all of this is true. It
- 6:04Speaker 3: wasn't his aunt. But then he made up a whole
- 6:06Speaker 3: other story, Well, it wasn't his aunt, it was a
- 6:08Speaker 3: very distant cousin of his father. Well who is it,
- 6:14Speaker 3: Well she's dead, So it sounds like a convenient excuse
- 6:19Speaker 3: that there's a very distant relative who's dead. And generally
- 6:24Speaker 3: you know who your aunt is and you don't confuse
- 6:26Speaker 3: them with any very distant relative of your father. So
- 6:29Speaker 3: it's clearly a total out and out lie, absolute lie.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And then this whole thing about the Muslim discrimination having
- 6:39Speaker 3: a problem in being in New York being Muslim, it's
- 6:41Speaker 3: kind of ridiculous. It's a huge Muslim population in New York.
- 6:45Speaker 3: It's eleven percent. The Jewish population is also eleven percent,
- 6:49Speaker 3: so they're pretty much equal. The Jewish population and the
- 6:52Speaker 3: Muslim population are equal. They're both eleven percent. And if
- 6:55Speaker 3: you check with the police, there's no reports of anti
- 6:58Speaker 3: Muslim attacks. But if you check with the police, there's
- 7:02Speaker 3: thousands and thousands of report of anti Jewish, anti Semitic attacks.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I don't have to tell you've heard about millions of them.
- 7:09Speaker 3: There's thousands of incidents of that, No incidents with the
- 7:12Speaker 3: New York City Police of any anti Muslim activity. So
- 7:15Speaker 3: the whole thing is a complete, fake, ridiculous issue that
- 7:19Speaker 3: he's been using. Now, Cuomo, he's been looking better. He
- 7:24Speaker 3: was good in the debate, the last debate, he thinks,
- 7:28Speaker 3: and that really just was horrible. In the two primary debates,
- 7:32Speaker 3: first general election debate, he was bad. People think he
- 7:36Speaker 3: got injected in one of those Joe Biden injections to
- 7:38Speaker 3: give him some energy, wake him up. He was pretty
- 7:40Speaker 3: good in the last debate. Again, it's all about turnout.
- 7:46Speaker 4: In the primary. The turnout was totally different than they thought,
- 7:51Speaker 4: much younger, and the younger vote was a much higher percentage,
- 7:56Speaker 4: and that skewed.
- 7:57Speaker 5: All the polls.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah, Now, public polls are just junk. They're really flamensy
- 8:02Speaker 3: poles in private campaigns usually spend a fortune and get
- 8:07Speaker 3: the real serious polling companies to come in and do
- 8:10Speaker 3: of deadly accurate polls. Now Cuomo hasn't done that. Curtis
- 8:13Speaker 3: hasn't done that. We think Mamdani has and people are
- 8:16Speaker 3: noticing he's running a ton of TV ads, a ton
- 8:19Speaker 3: of social media ads, a lot of advertising, a lot
- 8:22Speaker 3: of commercials. They're pretty much not attacking Cuomo in them.
- 8:25Speaker 3: They're about affordability, but they're not Cuomo attack ads, that
- 8:29Speaker 3: would indicate that in his data he's not seeing a
- 8:32Speaker 3: big problem from Cuomo. If Cuomo were really getting close,
- 8:36Speaker 3: you'd see him run attack ads like crazy. So far,
- 8:38Speaker 3: he has not done that. He still keeps talking about
- 8:40Speaker 3: affordability too often.
- 8:41Speaker 6: We think of affordability as a young person's problem of
- 8:43Speaker 6: whether you can build a life here. But there's so
- 8:45Speaker 6: many who are asking themselves whether they can keep a
- 8:47Speaker 6: life here.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yeah. So and again, if affordability is the problem, if
- 8:54Speaker 3: this is a crisis housing affordability, if it's a disaster
- 8:58Speaker 3: here in New York, well that would be the Democrat's
- 9:00Speaker 3: fault because they've controlled every inch of New York government
- 9:03Speaker 3: for fifteen years, Democrat mayor, Democrat governor, Democrat City Council,
- 9:08Speaker 3: Democrat Legislature, both houses. So if affordability is such a crisis,
- 9:12Speaker 3: blame them. If it's that bad, the logical thing to
- 9:15Speaker 3: do would be a switch parties, try somebody else. So
- 9:20Speaker 3: Cuomo keeps he's been campaigning. You know, he took like
- 9:23Speaker 3: ten days off Vanish, but he's out there campaigning again.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I feel it. I feel it on the street.
- 9:29Speaker 6: I continue to be confident in our campaign as well
- 9:32Speaker 6: as in our outreach to voters above the age of
- 9:34Speaker 6: fifty five. And also, I will not allow myself to
- 9:36Speaker 6: become complacent.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, and you know Curtis. Curtis been campaigning nineteen
- 9:40Speaker 3: hours a day, just one appearance every hour, everywhere. He's
- 9:45Speaker 3: just been in all five boroughs, every neighborhood.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Like it or not, I'm running to the end. That's
- 9:50Speaker 7: what democracy is about. Let people vote the billionaires. They're
- 9:55Speaker 7: not going to choose the mayor. The inside is, Oh,
- 9:58Speaker 7: the influences are not going to He's the mayor.
- 10:00Speaker 3: And the people are Yeah, that's a good Oh, he's right.
- 10:03Speaker 2: New York City is best known as a city that
- 10:06Speaker 2: locks up toothpaste and does not lock up criminals.
- 10:09Speaker 3: And that's something.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Y'all do when I get elected mayor on November four.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's ridiculous. Criminals are all let loose thanks to
- 10:16Speaker 3: our da Alvin Bragg, who you can get rid of
- 10:19Speaker 3: next Tuesday, on election day, vote for Maud Maren the Republican.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It's very important. Get out there and get rid of
- 10:24Speaker 3: Alvin Bragg. Vote for Maud Maren the Republicans, big, big,
- 10:29Speaker 3: big crime fighter, long history, and get rid of Alvin Bragg.
- 10:33Speaker 3: On Tuesday. But this whole thing of letting the criminals
- 10:37Speaker 3: run loose, you can shoplift. It's all. You can thank
- 10:40Speaker 3: Cuomo for that, with his no bail, no jail. Also
- 10:43Speaker 3: with his closing the prisons. Rememory bragged about how he
- 10:45Speaker 3: closed all the prisons and let everybody out. So here's
- 10:50Speaker 3: more of Mom Donnie.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Together, New York. We're going to freeze the.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Did you get in New York?
- 10:56Speaker 6: We're gonna make buses fast.
- 10:58Speaker 3: And freeze the rent. He has no authority to freeze
- 11:04Speaker 3: the rent anywhere, make busses free. He has absolutely no
- 11:07Speaker 3: control over the buses. It's run by the MTA, which
- 11:10Speaker 3: is controlled by the governor.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Let our words ring out so loud tonight that Andrew
- 11:15Speaker 6: Cuomo can hear them in his eight thousand dollars a
- 11:18Speaker 6: month apartment. Let them ring so loud that his puppet
- 11:21Speaker 6: master in the White House hears us. New York is
- 11:27Speaker 6: not for saved.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Apparently it is because Mom Donnie took tens of millions
- 11:34Speaker 3: of dollars from all these sorrows types. Nobody had more
- 11:38Speaker 3: funding from billionaires than all sorts of special interests than
- 11:42Speaker 3: Mom Donnie. Did you knowice he took the shot at
- 11:44Speaker 3: Cuomo in Westchester. So the problem with Cloma's got a
- 11:47Speaker 3: lot of problems running. He's got terrible track record as governor,
- 11:51Speaker 3: got more baggage than Paris Hilton. And people remember all
- 11:55Speaker 3: these horrible things as governor, from closing Indian Point to
- 12:00Speaker 3: killing all the seniors and the nursing homes, to creating
- 12:03Speaker 3: the crime wave, the no bail, no jail, to all
- 12:05Speaker 3: all this stuff. I won't even read you the whole
- 12:08Speaker 3: list of the long list, not to mention he picked
- 12:10Speaker 3: Kathy Hockle. He's the one that stuck us with Kathy Hockle.
- 12:13Speaker 3: He chose her for us. So it's a terrible track
- 12:17Speaker 3: record as governor. And he's also, as Mom Donnie was
- 12:21Speaker 3: pointing out there, up in Westchester. He's the first mayoral
- 12:25Speaker 3: candidate who doesn't live in New York City, not a
- 12:27Speaker 3: New York City guy. His whole adult life, he's lived
- 12:29Speaker 3: in Westchester. He's been in the suburbs his whole adult life.
- 12:33Speaker 3: We've never seen that before. We had mayors that have
- 12:35Speaker 3: been born somewhere else, but they've always spent their entire
- 12:38Speaker 3: adult life living in New York City. Hey, even Mike Johnson,
- 12:43Speaker 3: speaker of the House weighing in on the raid.
- 12:45Speaker 8: We can't allow a rise of Marxist and far left
- 12:47Speaker 8: activist in one party to shut down the entire operation
- 12:51Speaker 8: of the federal government. And that is exactly what they
- 12:54Speaker 8: are allowing them to do. The Democrats have got to
- 12:56Speaker 8: come their senses. You can endorse communist all you want,
- 13:00Speaker 8: at least keep the government operating.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yeah, so again Cuomo, had he not been in the race,
- 13:06Speaker 3: everything might have been different. Eric Adams is a pretty
- 13:08Speaker 3: good campaigner. He might have had a better shot in
- 13:11Speaker 3: the primary and knocked out Mom, Donnie and then Cuomo.
- 13:15Speaker 3: It's all about the campaign. He hasn't been out there.
- 13:18Speaker 3: He hasn't He still hasn't opened a campaign office. It
- 13:22Speaker 3: doesn't that much of a staff. He's not a lot
- 13:25Speaker 3: of appearances, not doing much. And he's got this whole
- 13:29Speaker 3: thing about get everybody else out of the race, which
- 13:32Speaker 3: is when you got to do that, you know you're
- 13:33Speaker 3: in trouble. Remember Donald Trump in the primaries, he had
- 13:37Speaker 3: we have fifteen guys running against him. He didn't force
- 13:40Speaker 3: anybody out. The last time we saw that happen was
- 13:43Speaker 3: when Joe Biden was running and he couldn't win. So
- 13:46Speaker 3: to get him the nomination. The Democrats forced everybody out
- 13:49Speaker 3: of the race. Remember the day before South Carolina Elizabeth
- 13:52Speaker 3: Warren Withdrew, Buddha Jedge Withdrew Sanders Withdrew. They ordered everybody
- 13:57Speaker 3: out of the race. That's the only way Biden could win.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Trying that. Now they're ordering Curtis out of the race,
- 14:03Speaker 3: which is ridiculous. You know, Cuomo did that when he
- 14:05Speaker 3: ran for governor. When he was running for governor, David Patterson,
- 14:09Speaker 3: very popular, was going to be a candidate against him,
- 14:12Speaker 3: and he couldn't beat Patterson, so they had the Obama
- 14:15Speaker 3: administration get Patterson out of the race, which they did.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I've talked to Patterson. He's confirmed that although yesterday Patterson
- 14:22Speaker 3: endorsed Cuomo, that.
- 14:24Speaker 9: Is clearly advantageous to the former governor. That the senior vote,
- 14:31Speaker 9: which had been dwindling, is coming back almost with love
- 14:36Speaker 9: rhythmatic proportions.
- 14:39Speaker 3: What was that word love? Madic Well, I see that's
- 14:42Speaker 3: one smart guy. I don't know what the hell that means,
- 14:44Speaker 3: but I guess it has to do with a labyrinth. No,
- 14:47Speaker 3: I don't know algorithm. I don't know what it means.
- 14:49Speaker 3: But Patterson's a great and I've had Patterson had run,
- 14:54Speaker 3: I think we'd all vote for him. He would have
- 14:55Speaker 3: been a much better candidate than Cuomo. So again, we
- 15:00Speaker 3: don't know about these polls. They're not the greatest polls.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Anything could change. Also, don't go by the betting markets,
- 15:06Speaker 3: the poly markets. People look at this betting market. These
- 15:08Speaker 3: are just amateur's betting and it's usually based on the poles.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And one of the reasons those betting markets don't work
- 15:16Speaker 3: very well. And you'll know whatever it says, it doesn't matter.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Let's say something else in two days. They just move
- 15:20Speaker 3: up and down and up and down. They don't really
- 15:22Speaker 3: predict anything. Whoever bets the most money moves the market
- 15:27Speaker 3: the most. And like the poly market, there's four big
- 15:30Speaker 3: players who bet so much money that it's whatever these
- 15:33Speaker 3: four guys think that moves it more than anything. Anyway,
- 15:36Speaker 3: we got a lot to get to you, Bill, O'Reilly.
- 15:38Speaker 3: We'll see what he thinks. We'll talk to him in
- 15:39Speaker 3: a couple of minutes. We'll take some calls. Next eight
- 15:41Speaker 3: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the
- 15:45Speaker 3: number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten in
- 15:51Speaker 3: Mark on demand. By setting a preset for his podcast,
- 15:54Speaker 3: on the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simon on wor.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Well, that's takes the calls. You know, we get the
- 16:03Speaker 3: people pop from all over the country. But let me
- 16:04Speaker 3: see if I can find some New York City callers. First,
- 16:08Speaker 3: let's go to Phil and Queens. Phil. How you doing hey?
- 16:12Speaker 10: Mark?
- 16:13Speaker 11: I think Curtis is gonna win, and quite frankly, Cuomo
- 16:17Speaker 11: helped destroy the city. Mondamine will build on that and
- 16:21Speaker 11: make it worse. And I drive around the city quite
- 16:25Speaker 11: a bit. I see Curtis signs where I didn't expect to,
- 16:29Speaker 11: and I'm gonna give me another moment. There's a reverse
- 16:33Speaker 11: barometer of how this selection is going. Even though a
- 16:37Speaker 11: lot of people don't view New York One, they are
- 16:41Speaker 11: so in the bag for the Democrats.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah no, no, nobody sees Nobody sees New York One.
- 16:45Speaker 3: But a better rehearse barometer always follow the big money
- 16:48Speaker 3: donors because they always get it wrong every time. They
- 16:51Speaker 3: have an incredible track record of always getting it wrong.
- 16:54Speaker 3: So the big big money donors are behind Cuomo. So
- 16:57Speaker 3: just bear that mind. Let's see you in New York City.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Here's Bill and Brooklyn. Bill, how you doing him?
- 17:02Speaker 10: Mark? I'm supporting President Trump in the mayoral election. He
- 17:06Speaker 10: doesn't want us to vote for Curtis. We're gonna have
- 17:08Speaker 10: to throw Curtis under the bus and go with the Democrat.
- 17:11Speaker 10: He's rather a.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Democratic than the Democrat.
- 17:13Speaker 10: Is Mam donni no a Democrats Democrats democrat, not the
- 17:19Speaker 10: communist Democrat.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I don't know if you can make that case. First
- 17:21Speaker 3: of all, Cuomo is not at all a Democrat. He's
- 17:24Speaker 3: running on a third party ticket. He's not the Democratic nominee.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Democrats rejected him in the primary. And when he was
- 17:30Speaker 3: governor he was as far left as mam donnie with
- 17:33Speaker 3: his no bail, no jail, closed the prisons.
- 17:35Speaker 10: But he believes in capitalism. Mark, that's important.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Yeah, No, you're right about that. The argument is that
- 17:41Speaker 3: Mam Donnie would be worse, but Cuomo would be just
- 17:43Speaker 3: as bad. Cuomo, if you check his record as governor,
- 17:47Speaker 3: was so far to the left, crazy, woke crazy. Uh.
- 17:53Speaker 3: But again, he's not the Democratic nomine If you're voting,
- 17:56Speaker 3: don't say vote for the Democrat because that would be
- 17:57Speaker 3: mam donnie in the race. Mam Donnie's Democratic candidate curts
- 18:01Speaker 3: the Republican candidate. Cuomo running on a third party, which
- 18:04Speaker 3: nobody could probably name. Let's go six and one. Let's
- 18:07Speaker 3: go to Ron in Texas. Ron, how you doing? Wait
- 18:12Speaker 3: a minute, there you go, Ron, how you doing?
- 18:15Speaker 2: Oh?
- 18:15Speaker 12: Pretty good. There's something that's missing about Cuomo. He's got
- 18:21Speaker 12: a bucalo problems, and one of them is people missing
- 18:25Speaker 12: the pole board that he's put into place.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Half is still there.
- 18:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 18:29Speaker 3: No, that's another good point. Cuomo was as far left
- 18:32Speaker 3: as mom Donnie when he was governor. He replaced the
- 18:35Speaker 3: whole parole board with these far left woke kooks. They've
- 18:39Speaker 3: let out everybody, including they think about this. His parole
- 18:43Speaker 3: board let out forty three cop killers and that's just
- 18:47Speaker 3: an example of how he governs. Let's go to Jerry
- 18:49Speaker 3: in Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing?
- 18:51Speaker 12: I'm doing well, Mark, thank you for taking my call.
- 18:54Speaker 12: I met Camillo yesterday, Insider down.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Fred Camillo is the mayor of Grantweed. She's the best mayor.
- 19:01Speaker 3: They call it the first selectman. But everybody make sure
- 19:03Speaker 3: to win. Vote for Fred Camillo on Tuesday. Make sure
- 19:06Speaker 3: you vote for him.
- 19:07Speaker 12: I'm definitely working for him. I mean, you know, I
- 19:11Speaker 12: asked him to give me two signs for his support,
- 19:14Speaker 12: and I put him on my property on North Street,
- 19:16Speaker 12: which is really really nice. And I support my friend
- 19:20Speaker 12: Heather for a tax collector. So I'm a great supporter
- 19:24Speaker 12: of Camillo and Heather.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody Greenwich vote for Fred Camillo, best mayor they had.
- 19:29Speaker 12: He's a great man and a great guy.
- 19:31Speaker 3: All right, thanks for calling. Let's go to sal in
- 19:34Speaker 3: Long Island.
- 19:34Speaker 5: Sal.
- 19:35Speaker 3: How you doing good?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Good morning Mark, Mark. I don't want to change the
- 19:40Speaker 1: subject too much from the campaign, but I wanted your
- 19:43Speaker 1: opinion on how do you feel about bringing back the draft?
- 19:46Speaker 1: So these eighteen year olds would learn respect, learn a career,
- 19:50Speaker 1: possibly learn that they just they can't eat with Mommy
- 19:54Speaker 1: makes them all the time, and they will learn to
- 19:56Speaker 1: be adults and turn out to be men after two
- 19:59Speaker 1: years of being in the well.
- 20:00Speaker 3: It sounds good on paper. It sounds good on paper,
- 20:03Speaker 3: but it can't happen because nobody's going to campaign about
- 20:05Speaker 3: bringing back the draft. You'd you'd get killed in an
- 20:08Speaker 3: election if that was your platform. And Democrats aren't going
- 20:11Speaker 3: to bring back the draft. They don't like the military.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Republicans would worry it would kill any chance of getting elected.
- 20:18Speaker 3: But it's a good idea.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I think I'm sorry. I think President Trump would be
- 20:22Speaker 1: all for it though, and that would bring back respect
- 20:25Speaker 1: and patriotism. Also, that's what we had at one time,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and that was one of the reasons we had it.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but again, bring back the draft. You probably can't
- 20:34Speaker 3: get elected. But President Trump's been very good on military recruiting.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Recruiting just stopped under Joe Biden because they went so
- 20:42Speaker 3: woke and you know, trans or whatever they went to,
- 20:46Speaker 3: it pretty much dried up. That's one reason you wanted
- 20:48Speaker 3: Pete Hexath. Hexath is very good at that. The one
- 20:51Speaker 3: thing he's done, he's dramatically increased recruiting by thousands of percent.
- 20:56Speaker 3: I mean he's just recruiting is now through the roof,
- 20:59Speaker 3: back where we wanted it. Let's go to Andy in
- 21:01Speaker 3: New Jersey. Andy, how you doing, Hey?
- 21:04Speaker 5: Mark The word that Governor Patterson was trying to spit
- 21:07Speaker 5: out with logarithmic, but even if you could pronounce it,
- 21:10Speaker 5: it didn't make any sense because logarithmic increases slower than linear.
- 21:14Speaker 5: What he wanted to say is an exponential increase, which
- 21:18Speaker 5: is much much faster than linear.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Well, he's a very smart guy, Patterson, but you got
- 21:22Speaker 3: to watch those words. Well, I don't need to give
- 21:24Speaker 3: him any advice. He knows that a speaking public. But
- 21:26Speaker 3: you got to watch that, that gibberish kind of what
- 21:29Speaker 3: So it's logarithmic versus exponential exponentially.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, logarithmic is slow. Exponential is very fast.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Oh, logarithmic is slow, exponential is fast. All right, let
- 21:41Speaker 3: me just write that down because I'm never going to
- 21:43Speaker 3: use that anywhere. Who's going to know what the hell
- 21:45Speaker 3: I'm talking about. Hey, well, Bill O'Reilly will be with
- 21:49Speaker 3: us next. Lots to talk to him about the mayoral race,
- 21:52Speaker 3: the World Series. Last night, eighteen innings. The game went
- 21:55Speaker 3: till two fifteen in the morning. Anyway, A lot to
- 21:58Speaker 3: get to next on seventy's.
- 22:01Speaker 1: The Marks among Show on seven ten WR.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Well Bill O'Reilly, of course, the number one TV anchor
- 22:09Speaker 3: for decades. You can watch his show the TV shows
- 22:12Speaker 3: on you just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com or
- 22:15Speaker 3: watch YouTube. He's got some great stuff on YouTube and
- 22:18Speaker 3: his latest best selling book. He's the biggest nonfiction author
- 22:21Speaker 3: on earth. The latest best selling book is Confronting Evil.
- 22:25Speaker 3: It is an amazing book. You gotta get it, and
- 22:28Speaker 3: you get his column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill, O'Reilly,
- 22:32Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Busy this morning? Just like you Mark? Right?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah? Well, hey President in China, you made the trip first,
- 22:40Speaker 3: you were in China meeting with all these leaders there.
- 22:42Speaker 3: What is he What is he in for there?
- 22:45Speaker 2: I think? Well, I got a text from him at
- 22:50Speaker 2: one in the morning's time and he says that everything's
- 22:57Speaker 2: going very well. And uh, I'm the scenes that Chinese
- 23:01Speaker 2: are cooperating. So I was happy to hear that. I'm
- 23:05Speaker 2: making a point tonight on my broadcast and No Spin
- 23:08Speaker 2: News that there are people in America I'm starting to
- 23:11Speaker 2: really teem me off. They want them to fail over there.
- 23:17Speaker 2: You know, they hate him so much. And I know
- 23:19Speaker 2: some of these people, and now I have a moral
- 23:22Speaker 2: quandary because I don't really respect that. If you are
- 23:29Speaker 2: going to put your hatred for an individual, whether it's
- 23:31Speaker 2: Donald Trump or Notack Obama, anybody above the welfare of
- 23:35Speaker 2: your own country and your own family by extension, then
- 23:41Speaker 2: I don't respect you, and so then I have to
- 23:44Speaker 2: reevaluate how I'm going to deal with that person. Now,
- 23:47Speaker 2: I don't think that's common in say a large amount
- 23:55Speaker 2: of people believe that, but certainly a significant amount of
- 24:00Speaker 2: people do, and you see it reflected in MS and CNN.
- 24:07Speaker 2: In fact, we're reporting a story tonight. I believe it's true,
- 24:10Speaker 2: although it's anonymously sore. So I always tell the audience
- 24:13Speaker 2: that got to bring him bit of skepticism when you
- 24:16Speaker 2: read about anonymous sore stories that the head of CNN,
- 24:22Speaker 2: Mark Thompson, actually ordered his anchors to knock it off
- 24:27Speaker 2: about the White House renovations and start covering the most
- 24:31Speaker 2: important story of the year, Trump's Asia trip. He had
- 24:36Speaker 2: to order his own people to do that. That's a
- 24:39Speaker 2: pretty sad state of affairs.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I think, Yeah, this ballroom derangement syndrome, it's just ridiculous.
- 24:46Speaker 3: And you're right, big things are happening in this trip, big,
- 24:49Speaker 3: big trade deals with mineral deals. It should be covered NonStop.
- 24:54Speaker 2: It's enormous and so far he's two for two Asia
- 25:01Speaker 2: and Japan. And the reason that he's succeeding is because
- 25:07Speaker 2: people fear him. So these countries in a like, Okay,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I want to give America a break. That's not really
- 25:14Speaker 2: the mentality. Mentality is I gotta get a deal with
- 25:18Speaker 2: this man, because if we don't, then our economy is
- 25:22Speaker 2: going to be hurt, particularly in Japan. They know they
- 25:25Speaker 2: have to calm it down. When I was in Japan
- 25:28Speaker 2: in May, I did not see one American vehicle. And
- 25:33Speaker 2: I traveled around a bit, there wasn't one American vehicle
- 25:37Speaker 2: on their streets that There were German cars and Korean cars,
- 25:44Speaker 2: but no American vehicles. What was that Because the Japanese
- 25:50Speaker 2: historically have kept out American cars from their marketplace, which
- 25:54Speaker 2: Trump's changing all of that. And so I was happy
- 25:59Speaker 2: to see the initial couple of days go well, But
- 26:04Speaker 2: the big day is Thursday.
- 26:07Speaker 3: The meeting was she Yeah, well, uh, there's no reason
- 26:13Speaker 3: to think he won't do very well with she for
- 26:14Speaker 3: all the reasons you just said. And a lot of
- 26:16Speaker 3: people think there also might be a wink in a
- 26:18Speaker 3: nod about Taiwan or something like that.
- 26:21Speaker 2: There's gotta be some accommodation made to the Chinese about Taiwan.
- 26:27Speaker 2: You're absolutely right. The American government cannot take a hard line.
- 26:33Speaker 2: There's a way to do this. But it's so emotional now,
- 26:39Speaker 2: particularly what happened in Hong Kong. You know, in the
- 26:41Speaker 2: beginning of Hong Kong is going to be autonomous, and
- 26:44Speaker 2: it's going to be part of China, but they're gonna
- 26:46Speaker 2: let the capitalistic system flow there. And then of course
- 26:49Speaker 2: the Chinese said, I don't think something. We will violate
- 26:53Speaker 2: every treaty, and that could happen in Taiwan, but you
- 26:56Speaker 2: gotta gotta try to tamp that down. Most important beside
- 27:00Speaker 2: the trade with China, and that is ultra important to
- 27:04Speaker 2: the American economy, is the back and away from Putin.
- 27:08Speaker 2: And that's what I discussed with the Pollit Bureau in
- 27:11Speaker 2: May when I was invited over there by the Chinese government.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I said, what are you into putin business for? What
- 27:18Speaker 2: is that? Why do you want to enable this guy?
- 27:20Speaker 2: You can get your oil from Opek and Rumble sell
- 27:22Speaker 2: you oil to a probably a better price than Putin.
- 27:27Speaker 2: And why do you want to be in business with
- 27:28Speaker 2: this guy? He's killing women and children. And when you know,
- 27:32Speaker 2: the Chinese don't answer when you ask questions, they ponder,
- 27:35Speaker 2: they don't answer.
- 27:37Speaker 3: And when you deal with them, are they do? You
- 27:40Speaker 3: just see the brilliance, the incredible strategic minds. That is
- 27:44Speaker 3: it really that formidable these people?
- 27:48Speaker 2: There's one guy who was really brilliant, and I met
- 27:50Speaker 2: with him, uh one on one former ambassador to the
- 27:55Speaker 2: United States from China who served in Trump's first term,
- 28:02Speaker 2: and he boy, this guy eighty years old and he
- 28:06Speaker 2: knows what he's doing. The others were bureaucrats. I mean,
- 28:12Speaker 2: maybe that's unfair of me to say, because I didn't
- 28:14Speaker 2: spend a lot of I spent three hours with this crew,
- 28:19Speaker 2: but they were peppering me with questions and there was
- 28:21Speaker 2: a discussion back and forth. I didn't see, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 2: anything that stood out except for this ambassador, and he's
- 28:30Speaker 2: the she whisperer. He's the guy that she listens to.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Hey, Bill Riley, before we went out of time, CBS,
- 28:37Speaker 3: they got this Barry Weiss in there trying to straighten
- 28:39Speaker 3: it out, make it more fair balanced neutral. Is it
- 28:42Speaker 3: possible to do that? Does she have any chance of
- 28:44Speaker 3: succeeding at that you used to work there.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a very very good question. I think she
- 28:52Speaker 2: can stabilize the operation and bring back some credibility to it,
- 28:58Speaker 2: but I don't think they're ever going to have good ratings.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I don't think there's anybody in America under the age
- 29:04Speaker 2: of fifty that watches the evening news. My kids don't
- 29:09Speaker 2: ever on any of them. They're obsolete because you can
- 29:13Speaker 2: get the information on social media and the internet way
- 29:17Speaker 2: before they come on at six thirty at night, and
- 29:20Speaker 2: the morning shows are just ridiculous. I mean it's you know,
- 29:23Speaker 2: but what ms wis is going to do is get
- 29:25Speaker 2: the fanatics out, the progressive fanatics which dominated all three
- 29:30Speaker 2: networks for at least ten years, and that's what she's
- 29:34Speaker 2: going to do. You're going to get them out and
- 29:36Speaker 2: get more moderate people in, more professional people who aren't
- 29:40Speaker 2: going to you know, skew the news. So if I
- 29:43Speaker 2: were Scott Pelly, I wouldn't buy buying a house, you
- 29:45Speaker 2: know what I mean? There are people there who are
- 29:49Speaker 2: marked Gail King. I'd be hard to move her out.
- 29:55Speaker 2: But she's certainly going to get a haircut on the
- 29:57Speaker 2: paycheck and to bring down all the salaries. They're going
- 30:01Speaker 2: to bring in some people that are not identified with
- 30:04Speaker 2: the far left, and I think that Weiss will be
- 30:09Speaker 2: able to restore some credibility there.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Hey yeah, we'll get one minute left the election Tuesday?
- 30:15Speaker 3: What do you think is going to happen?
- 30:16Speaker 2: Mondney looks like Mandai is going to win. I mean,
- 30:20Speaker 2: you can you know that by the early voting. I
- 30:23Speaker 2: was surprised they gave out the tally so quickly. So
- 30:26Speaker 2: Mandmi is carrying Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and Cuomo's carrying
- 30:32Speaker 2: the Bronx and Saten Island. It's not enough for Cuomoy.
- 30:37Speaker 2: So I expect that, you know, in one week, everybody
- 30:43Speaker 2: will go. But the early voting is very significant in
- 30:46Speaker 2: New York City this year, and I don't think that
- 30:49Speaker 2: trend is going to change. So I think Mandamie would
- 30:52Speaker 2: be the mayor.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Well, we got through eight years at de Blasio and
- 30:55Speaker 3: it's basically the de Blasio team working for Mamdani, so
- 30:59Speaker 3: do the same thing all.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Of Yeah, next week we'll talk about this because the
- 31:02Speaker 2: Blasio was a disaster and he set the stage for this, yeah, debacle,
- 31:07Speaker 2: it's about to happen. But I know, you got to
- 31:10Speaker 2: sell some stuff and now, so it's a little bit complicated,
- 31:14Speaker 2: but you know, we got this is the way life is.
- 31:18Speaker 2: So when New Yorkers, we're tough and you just got
- 31:23Speaker 2: to go along.
- 31:24Speaker 1: All right.
- 31:25Speaker 3: We'll get to that next week, but everybody get Bill
- 31:27Speaker 3: O'Reilly's latest book. You'll love this book, powerful book called
- 31:30Speaker 3: Confronting Evil. It's already a big bestseller. Watch the YouTube
