- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: You are listening to Do Valley Deep Divers with Eric Trickle and Lance Sanderson Well, comes out of the hands of Newton.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's gone the ground picked up by T.J.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: Gordon at the 4-yard line.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_01]: Von Miller did it again on over time media.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome into another episode of The Dead Valley Deep Divers.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: I am your host Eric Trickle and join me tonight is Carl Dumber.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_02]: Carl my man, how are you doing on this fine Friday night?
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing great, man.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's like said, it's Friday.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: I get a love the weekend coming around and Bronco football, gonna be coming up actually early morning.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of weird.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna be working unfortunately.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm gonna have to watch it later.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure during my work, I'm gonna be getting lots and lots of messages from you guys.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, man, I can't believe the Broncos did this and this and this and I'm just gonna feel this buzz going off the entire time I'm preaching on Sunday.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: But hopefully it's good news.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it is a early early morning game.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's like five, 30, I had to double check the time.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's like five, 30 in the morning for me.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: I am not looking forward to that granted.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm up at that time anyways.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's what time my wife leaves for work.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I get up and say goodbye to her.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: But it's different when you can wake up, say goodbye, and then go back to sleep.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: I got a wake up and then stay awake at that point.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say thank you for joining us.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: Lance is obviously not here tonight.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: One of his kids is back to health back healthy and able to go play football and he's playing his first game back from being hurt tonight So Lance took the night off to go do that.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's a shame, but that's okay.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: We don't need another week of Lance predicting a hundred-yard russia for the Broncos But it's got that off my list
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's good to have you.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad you can fill in and this is a exciting game to talk about not necessarily because of who they're playing, but because of the game that they're coming off of against the Philadelphia Eagles, how they managed to beat that, although maybe it's not as you know, big of a win as we felt it was after watching last night's game, but it still was a tough win and going into it teams were on the road prior to traveling to London.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: the week before they're only 21 14 so Denver managed to overcome the bad history of traveling teams before going to London as well as their own history of what 111 and 112 went on the road trailing by 14 or more points going into the fourth quarter.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: It was a great turnaround but it has made excited for this jet's game because this is a bad jet's team and if Denver can you know stack a third win in a row it really puts them in such a good spot for what they have coming up on the schedule.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I don't read too much into, especially like Thursday night games, they're always so weird.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: And they were missing Jalen Carter.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: He played against the Broncos.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Quinion Mitchell got hurt early.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: That that's their two best defenders.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: And all of a sudden, oh, giants can play offense.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so I mean, that helps where the Broncos didn't have that.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos were also coming off a Monday night football game.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Short week, then traveling to London, you know,
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: They don't lose and Philly, very often.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then this one was on the road and New York.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: So it just, like, is very different situations.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't read too much into that.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: Philly is still a great team.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Gonna be a playoff team.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they're Super Bowl calibrated this year.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a few things missing more.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive coordinators not doing a whole lot of great things for them as listen to Drew Breeze talk earlier, I think today and he was like, that is the most boring offense to watch.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they just don't do anything that makes you go, oh, wow, we got a plan for this.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: And so I mean, maybe that helps help the Broncos out whatever, but more than that, the offense and the way that they were able to come alive against a very good defense.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: and put up some really nice points, like I said, end of game, situation where the Broncos have struggled.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: And now come into the jets, you know, a team that I would say their O-1-5 record is a little deceiving.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: They've taken some pretty good teams to the variant.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: And probably should have beat Pittsburgh week one.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think who else they they've played that actually made it a pretty close game.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: And then yelling the giants the next week,
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: Giants are just so up and down.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: They can beat the undefeated charters and then lose to the Saints bad.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they lost to the Saints really bad in that game.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then they come back and beat Philly.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: So it just, it's one of those games.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: You could go either way, I think, because it's a home game for the Broncos.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think they've got a good chance, but anyway, we've got lots of talk about it.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm kind of going all over the place here because we just have so much going on with Broncos right now.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, then that giant's game.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's the week of the meet and greet.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe we're just a little over a week for this.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I leave a week from tomorrow is when my traveling starts.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I'm super excited for the giant's game because the way the giant's look, but we got to get to the jets first, but before we get into break and down this jet's game, gotta say hello to some people in the jet.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: We have Max coming in saying evening, Broncos country taught also coming in saying hello, Broncos country.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: David Publicer, McGill Ross, and Good evening, Broncos Country, Hashtag 11 and 6, Pearl Header, saying hi all.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: Chemnitz and what's up, Broncos Country.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: We've got out of sight, sports, and Broncos Country, let's ride.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: He makes me feel dirty saying that with Russell Wilson.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's also good.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: Chemnitz and Go Broncos, and we have Zachary coming in.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: Zachary hints coming in.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good evening, gentlemen.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Hope your night is going well.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: Just want to ask your thoughts on how Denver will do against the Giants based off last night's game.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there is a lot in the Giants favor.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: They get that many by week.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: They're not having to travel back from London.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: They're playing good football all around.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: Denver just lost a key on the offense with Ben Powers.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be out until December.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't been placed on the reserve yet, but I guess that's expected to happen tomorrow with activating Malcolm Roach.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: for this.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: So there's a lot going in the giant's favor.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: I still think there's a lot of issues with this giant's team that Denver can exploit and there seems to be some issues with the head coach right now.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: There is a possibility, I guess, of him being suspended.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: I saw somebody talk about that today, because he went over to the blue medical tent with, and I believe Jackson Dart was getting evaluated for a concussion, and there's been some speculation that he kind of may have influenced the decision to clear Jackson Dart or not, and I saw an announcement today that there's a investigation being launched into it that might result in a suspension, or something to that effect.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: So it is a lot into it, but we will have all of next week to talk about it.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: Right now we got to get to the Jets in the Jets are not as easy of a task as people think but before we get into that again Michael and Kayla coming up with a $5 Jets and good evening, Eric and Carl on the Dev Valley deep divers go bow Broncos chase malnour saying Eric and Carl go Broncos
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, talk to me about college football in January.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'll start scouting guys here probably at the end of this month, but I don't like college football, really.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: Right, I was going to say, I'll be the Eric and Carl, can't wait to see you guys.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: Can't wait to meet you.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: I know there's a quite a few people who are making it this year that haven't made it before.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that has me super excited for it to meet everybody and put faces to the names and Patrick Grant saying Broncos, AFC, West champs.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: Let's hope so.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: There's the doors opening.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers are dealing with a lot of injuries on their offensive line and with Justin Herbert's injury history.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_02]: He maybe he doesn't safe healthy throughout the season.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: That can help open the door.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: The chargers are also about to hit that the tougher part of their schedule with some of their games coming up for the broadcast.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: Because they're hitting the easier this hitting their stride with a little bit of easier games.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_02]: I should say plus they still have one more where they can tie that head to head match
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of football up to play only five weeks in, but the the door for the division is still open.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not as open after losing the first game to the chargers, but it's still open.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_02]: But of course, again, you got to stack wins together.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: It all starts with a giant scheme and before we get into this, just going over the injury report real quick.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, Joan Ben Powers, he will be out for this game, whether he's placed on injured reserved tomorrow or not, expectation he is Malcolm Roach is questionable, but he has to be activated off of injured reserve before he can play and the corresponding move there's been power, so those two are tied together.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_02]: Either way, no Ben Powers may be Malcolm Roach and no Jonah Ellis, which is a bit of a bummer because of how well he's been playing in part of the
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: Nick Benito and Jonathan Cooper and particularly being one of the, probably being the best run defender out of that edge room and then on the jet side of things.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: Two guys are out, Michael Carter, Elma Zard, both of them we knew about they were, they were said to be out by the coach in on Wednesday.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: I believe as it was, as when he came out and said that they will be out for the game and then Brandon Stevens, one of their top corners is questionable with the neck injury.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: But Denver, I think Denver's loss on the offensive line with Ben Powers and the loss of Jonah Ellis might be a little bit more harmful with where the jet strengths are both on offense and defense because Ben Powers despite a lot of hate that he gets from Broncos Country.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: He has probably established himself as a top five polling guard in the NFL, especially this year.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos have like,
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Ashenomically better EP, I can't remember exactly what it's like it's almost like 10 points higher of an EPA on runs where powers poles compared to when he doesn't.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: So that is a big loss for them, especially when you have Quinn and Williams in the middle and then Jonah Ellis the just rushing offense is no joke.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_02]: So losing Jonah Ellis who does so well against it is obviously a loss.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're definitely going to miss those two guys.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Q Robinson finally got to get a chance to possibly be activated for this game.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: So get a chance to see the rookie and what he can bring to the table.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: But Jonah Ellis has been proven.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: There'd be a lot of teams he'd probably be starting on with the way that he's been playing.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: And so can't overlook what that can mean when you're talking about the rotation and this past rush, somebody asked that question earlier
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: One of the big advantages Broncos have is that Jackson Dart takes a lot of sacks.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: He holds on to the ball.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: He plays a lot of hero ball and when he got a pass rush like the Broncos, that could be a fun one, but you need Jonah Ellis back for that too.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so hopefully hopefully it's just a one week injury, come back, be fine, well up to see how that plays out.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: And Ben Powers, I mean, I like the offensive line depth.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think that was one of the fun things to watch in preseason this year is that when the second unit came in.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: They did great.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: They really look strong.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I know they're going against backups, but there's a lot of preseason games that you watch for the offensive line is just a business.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, guys are just running through free missed communications left and right and you can tell that the backups here and brought in and then have been really well coached they understand what they're supposed to be doing have we heard who's for sure taking over is it map parrot for sure or.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I believe the expectation is still map here, but Sean Payton is still doing his coi-ness of we'll see.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_02]: I believe that was the comment when on Wednesday, he was asked when he was asked about it.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, we'll see.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: But the belief is map here again.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: I talked about this on Wednesday.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: Alex Paul Cheski has two snaps on the left side in his NFL career.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them come this year, and both of them have been at left tackle with Garrett Bulls playing an inline tight end off the right side, where they really stacked McLenshee and Bulls next to each other to get a strength on that side to run behind.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: And Sean Payton has talked about it before a couple times I think you talked about it this preseason and I know we talked about it two or three times last year that sometimes offensive linemen are more comfortable on one side and that they try to coach that and when you look at Sean Payton's career he's typically had that backup on the left side the back up on the right side.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: I believe that it'll be Matt Peart starting at left guard just because he has been that back up on the left side in preseason.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: He was the back up left guard.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_02]: And if you put in pal Chesky at left guard, well, then you're now creating two moves because now you need Matt Peart to step in and be that that six offense alignment that they've been using so much.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I believe that'll be Matt Peart, but haven't heard for sure yet.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I see another name being brought up Throck Morton off the practice squad.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: They can, you're probably like, is that Pirates are gonna probably be that guy.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: And, and he, he's solid.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: He really is.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: I loved his past blocking, especially.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're gonna see a huge drop off in the past blocking ability.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: But like I said, that pulling guard part.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: There might be some questions there of how that's going to work just because it's such a timing thing.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: And if you not been on the field working with the other four guys and with the running back as well, that that could be a problem for sure.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: So what we'll see, I think the offensive line will be fine.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is a drop off anytime you lose a starter.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: There's always going to be a drop off that there's not very often in the NFL that you have a backup that's better than the starter.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just a guy that hasn't had a chance to get out there and and they'll be fine, but yeah, like I said, I think they'll be okay.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jonah Ellis one is the one that worries me a little bit more, honestly.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Just because I've been such a strength of this team is that edge group and their rotation.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: And just missing that kind of guy, Hugh Robinson.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: I like the graphic.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's got some ability, but he's still a rookie.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: And they're gonna come after the rookie.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: If they see him on the field, they're gonna be like, oh, that's the guy we run at.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what he can do on the field.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_02]: especially with run defense not being a strong suit for him like that was a big area of issues in the preseason and with the rotation and losing to an analyst.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: Part of what has helped Nick Benito be so effective is they've been able to cut down his nap count because they have John Ellis who stepped up in such a big way behind them that they're able to
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: But not quite, but be like, I'm pretty close to a 6040 split between the two.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: And so that has helped Benito, who has been far in a way, the most efficient past rush or the NFL this year, not just with, you know, leading the league in SACTS right now, lead, lead, lead, lead in pressures, which he's doing it on a far lower snap, past rush snap count than a lot of these other guys are.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: But we have Michael Rinkill, a common in saying gift with gifting five mile high-hotel memberships.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Michael.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: We appreciate it so much.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: If you guys were fortunate enough to get gifted a membership for Michael and you're sitting here in the chat, make sure you guys give a thank you out to Michael.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: And we have Camden with a $15 superchette saying because this be a game where the Broncos need to have a quarterback spy to contain just a field.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe who Fonga can play in the box as a QB spy or hers
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is a game where they need to do a lot of what they did in the second half against the Eagles, which is play Marzone and put Hufanga down closer to the box and letting him kind of be that guy to spy Jalen Hurts or spy just that feels like they did with Jalen Hurts.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: And on top of that, have their past rush and this is one of the things that stood out to me.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember which player it was that said it, but they talked about one of the plans for the Eagles game.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: was to not really rush jail and hurts.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like obviously they're trying to get after him, but more so playing contain keeping him in the pocket and making sure he couldn't use his legs to such great effectiveness and they still picked up what five sex against the Eagles, and despite that, so I think that similar kind of faking with Justin Fields.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, you still rush him, but you don't do so where you lose gap or get land integrity, where you don't open up the lanes for him, where you're staying disciplined and keeping those running Lynch shot and forcing things out if we form to get outside of the tackle if we want to use his legs and just make him uncomfortable because one thing Justin feels like to do obviously he loves to use his legs.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: He can be very quick to use his legs, but he loves to get to using his legs by thinking up through the offensive line and not so much out he looks a little bit more comfortable with that.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: So forcing that uncomfortableness upon him could lead to some great plays by the Broncos defense.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, honestly against Jalen Hertz, would you allow him to only rush for three yards?
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: And he is the athlete that he is, and then it's six acts actually in that game.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: I just looked it up.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: And the fact that they could do both contain and still get pressure like that, just speaks to how great this past rush is.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they set each other up.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think back to the the 2012 Broncos I know many people don't want to talk about how that season ended But part of the struggle was they had two great edge guys in Vaughn Miller and Elvis Dumerville But they didn't have a lot of guys that were pushing the pocket in the middle and Joe Flacco just had plenty of room to step up and it was like okay Yeah, we're gonna make you go around the edge
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: because we know that we will have still three, four yards to step up.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: And your edge guys are gonna be almost kind of negated because we can do this.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: And this is why I always say like interior pressure is probably more important than edge pressure.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, edge pressure is still important.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: But when you can get pressure in a quarterback space, that's where you see a lot of the bad throws, see a really bad decisions, all those kind of things.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, JFM, they have Zach Allen, they have a few orphans in the middle that can actually get after a quarterback and make life very, very difficult.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm that that's why it's such a complimentary group.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just a couple of guys on the edge.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's about six guys, six, seven guys that you can really count on that could get after the quarterback.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: If they have one on one opportunity.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Good.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and on that, when it comes to getting after Justin Fields fortunately, this Jets Offensive Line is terrible in past protection.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: And part of that is Justin Fields fault.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you touched on it with Jackson Dart about holding the ball to long.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's Justin Fields to a T. He also has the Russell Wilson problem, where he likes to drip back in the pocket a little bit too far and open up the door for to where you know, your tackles can't just guide around the arch because your quarterback's now standing in the pathway.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: So there's a lot of opening there.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: And they have one offensive lineman who's been really good this year.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_02]: And that is a rookie right tackle, Armin Membao.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: I'm really excited to see what Jonathan Cooper can do against him.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: Because there are a bunch of lapses in Membao's technique.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: And he's just able to get, he's been able to overcome it with, you know, just being gifted physically and athletically.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: But Cooper is such a one of the things that really sends out when you watch him is he does such a good job of breaking down techniques of offensive tackles so if you have a guy who struggles with that and that's what Cooper excels at is just capitalizing off of those technical issues.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: This could be a big game for him.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Olu Fashanu has been absolutely terrible at left tackle and pass protection.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: That opens up the door for Nick Benito.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: Joe Tippman has been one of their starting guards.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember their other guards name.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: Both of them have really struggled all season long, and their center hasn't been any better.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_02]: So John Finkenmeyers, even DJ Jones, Zach Allen, they all, and Malcolm Roche, if he gets activated for this, they can all have a big day with getting pressure off the quarterback.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: And to really capitalize on that even for even more, the thing that I think that that fans Joseph and his defense to do is they need to make the, make the, make the jets one dimensional.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: They need to make sure they take away the run game because the run, run game is the jets offense right now.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: That is about it.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: Run game and quick passes.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: And you know what, if you can take the way the run game and you can force them to be one dimensional, you can live with giving up those quick passes.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: You can live with forcing them to be a Dink and Dunk style offense, because of how exceptional you've been in the red zone, that needs to be the focus for me for fans shows that force them to be one-dimensional takeaway the run game.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: Breeze Hall has been a threat.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's been one of the better running backs.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's been
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think he leads to league in 10 plus yard runs is top three in success rate when running the ball.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's been phenomenal and the offensive line got to give him some credit with this.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: They are leading the league with over three yards allowed before contact in rushing.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like 2.18 yards specifically between the tackles.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: So they are doing something upfront to lead the league to keep
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I said, you got to be committed to stop the run.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to be disciplined in your lanes.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: You got to wrap up, make the tackles, singleton.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that guy drives me nuts when I go see him, try to make a tackle.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I saw a comment.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: from Zachary said, this might be my own thought based off of the last few games, but Singleton needs to be placed on the bench.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: He did lead the team in tackles a few years ago, but from what we have seen with the shoulder tackles, I don't see a point of keeping them on the field when he's barely making the tackles.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: He gets go Broncos, go Bob Broncos, and yeah, I mean, he's still always going to get a lot of tackles, but they're not quality tackles.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I remember
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: A linebacker for the Broncos a while ago that like led the league, I mean, this is like back in the early 2000s and he was close to leading the league and tackles.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was top three, but every one of his tackles were like five to seven yards down the field.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like that doesn't help the team like that was a positive play for the offense.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: You're not getting downhill.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: You're not making an actual run stop and and singleton.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's such a Feaster famine.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, there's gonna be some negative plays that he makes and people are gonna look at those and go, oh, wow, look at him, look at what he can do and look at all these tackle, he's getting on the field.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's gonna be a lot of plays where he's completely out of position.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: He still might go make the tackle, but it's already too late at that point.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: And so, yes, my hope is when Greenlaw finally does get healthy.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: that the Broncos make the right choice to leave strunaut on the field and replace Singleton with Greenlaw.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's what will happen.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: Singleton is well loved in that organization.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: He was a captain last year.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's making him quite a bit of money.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to put that much money on the bench.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: But at this point, he really is the true weakness.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: If I had to look at the 22 starters, offense defense,
- 23:24[SPEAKER_02]: dead last, maybe second to last over Luke Wattenberg, like, bottom two, like, easy.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly where you're at.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so when he is that kind of weakness,
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: And, and I do think that the Broncos have been trying to look at some linebacker help and looks like there's going to be a lot of trades coming up, maybe the Broncos get in on one of those linebackers and maybe the Broncos by the end of this, they replaced both strnod and single ten and just go like neither of you are worthy of being a starter at this point.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I do like what strnod's been able to do.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's been at least an average starter.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's been a quality starter, but for a guy coming off the bench.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's about all you can ask from them and I don't think he's been a negative player.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I should say at this point so far this year.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: So thankfully Jets really don't have much that can then they got a rookie tight end.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: I guess that can attack But I'm not too worried about him.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't really done a ton so far this year.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: And like I said, if you can just really key in on the run, get a couple of run stops, force, just in fields, a half to drop back in past rush situation, you know, past rest situations, you're going to have a lot of success and and like I said, make them march the entire field.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the big thing like yeah, you can have him pick up a couple first downs.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that they can go from let's say the 30 yard line, you know, 10 yards at a time and go score touchdown consistently, they might get one doing that.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: But I think you can easily hold them to 17 points or less, pretty sure, I mean, yeah, for sure.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: This defense can hold them to 17 points or less.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I believe in this offense, to put up a lot of points against this defense.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this defense, this just defense is bad.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: And one thing, Bonyx has been really bad against zone.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: And he hasn't been great against man coverage, but he has been better.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: And the jets are predominantly man.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: And what's more is the type of man coverage is that they've done when he split it, even when you filter it down even more.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_02]: The type of man coverage they run, Bonyx is absolutely excelled against going back to starting last year.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: So that provides a great opportunity for him.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then there is a lot of familiarity between these two teams.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: They've played each other multiple times.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: They're top corner and quote, and Sutton.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: They've had three battles.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: And it's been a lot of sauce Gardner unfortunately winning that.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: Sauce Gardner has only a lot of two catches on seven targets when matched up against some quote, and Sutton.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: And this year, he is matching up against number one receiver or teams top receivers over 50% of the time
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: So he's going to see a lot more quote and Sutton than he has in previous ones and then on the other side of it patch to Chan and Garrett Wilson they've been pretty well matched and both sides have had their wins and Garrett Wilson seems to have elevated his play this year against man coverage normally he's been a little bit more has struggled a little bit more with it.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: But he has been as close to perfect as you can be for a while receiver.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_02]: He's caught all but one pass.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: He has almost like 150 yards and like four touchdowns against man coverage this season.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: So that is a great match up for, but it all comes down to going back to Bonax with the coverages.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: They, the New York Jets, they love to man blitz.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_02]: And talking about Garrett Wilson being near perfect.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_02]: Bow nicks has been near perfect when handling man blitzes.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: There is something about it.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's able to see it quickly.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_02]: I was going back in last yesterday.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think I went back and I watched all of his plays again when team set a man sent man blitz against him.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: And he, there is something that he's able to pick up on, be pre-snap, he's able to see it.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: He adjusts the play and ends up being successful.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: So with the, the jets who use that, I believe the fourth most in the NFL, there is a really big door open for Bonax and his Broncos offense to have a lot of success against this jet's defense, which has been absolutely terrible in coverage, even saw Skarner, he's been really struggling this season, but they have been a good run defense, and that is led by
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: And they are just doing so well up front against the run, but it's not translating over to the coverage or not getting past pressure up front and without pressure their secondary can only hold on for so long and it's struggling.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_02]: And then last thing on that with with sauce garden or two, it's not that he's getting beat.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's allowing like 1.2 average yards of average separation.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's getting beat at the catch point.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's like he's being it's like they're specifically focusing on and being less physical because of all the penalties he's had throughout his career.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's really affecting him because he can't get away those being a little bit grabby at the catch point like he has previously.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: So they're working on fixing that.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: And so
- 28:21[SPEAKER_02]: So Scott and it might be a little bit more targetable for next, especially when they do those man blitzes.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and Quarton Sutton wants to see best at catch point catches.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: So that could be a place.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then missing the number two and number three corner most likely in this game, there's going to be some openings, you know, it might force him to play a little bit more zone when you're missing Michael Carter and I'm trying to remember Steven's.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: for their cornerback room, maybe they're playing a little bit more zone because of that, but I still think they're probably still gonna try to play a lot of man coverage, and this could be a poor friend playing game.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a hint at where I might be going with one of my bold predictions for this game.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: And really, for me, the big thing in this game, like I said, defense, stop and the run, offense, get going early.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: get that early lead, force the jets to have to get out of what they want to do, and if you can do that, like I said, you can force me into some really bad situations, and I think then you can run away with this game, I think if you can't get the offense going early, this will be a close game where it could come down to who has the most penalties, who has a turnover, whatever it may be, I know that jets have enforced a turnover yet.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: But it's coming.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like I don't think a team has ever gone through an entire season without forcing a turnover and and so there's going to be a point that you know, fumble comes out and bounces their way tip past quarterback just makes a bad decision as we've seen, phonics make that every once in a while.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so we'll just have to see how that plays out.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: I did see a few people making some comments, I'd since I brought up some trades earlier, somebody brought up, you know, like,
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: items is Cleveland is seller as Todd brought up.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think Cleveland's probably going to be a seller.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: What are they willing to sell?
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: I know a lot of people bring up and joke who's name.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: they seem to not be willing to sell him, he wants to be traded.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's brought it up multiple times, get me out of here.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: I know Jerry Judy hinted that he wouldn't mind getting out of Cleveland right now, which is pretty funny of he wanted out of Denver.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_00]: Got his wish, and hey, you went to an even worse situation.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_00]: Good luck.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side, and he's funny that out very quickly being on maybe the worst offense of the last 10 years.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: that defense.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, good.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: If they could just find it in the quarterback, like they're and that's been like that's been a comment thread for the Browns for a while.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_02]: There was a long period where they were just bad overall, but then they started to put pieces together and they can't get a solid offense and solid defense together at the same time.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but yeah, there's a good chance they are.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think David and Joku is in the plans for Denver.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: Gotta remember Denver's only sitting with right around six million in salary cap space and granted you do take off, games, game salary that's been paid already for the games by thinking Joku is still $10, $12 million against salary cap, the one that's come up.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: that came up earlier this week.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think on Monday was it's a lot of Mark Andrew stock.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_02]: Mark Andrew was way too way too much by the time it gets to where the he's cheap enough with what's left to be paid for the Broncos to be able to afford him with us under the salary cap.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: With how things currently stand, of course, I can trade a way a player and open up more so that I can space, it would have to be like two weeks after the trade deadline passes in order for them to be able to afford Mark Andrews.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_02]: So, and I would assume Denver is looking for something, looking for a couple pieces.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: The question is, is can they find something for it?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: Can they find something for the right price?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: traffic, so that's something to look for, Trump.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_02]: It loves to try them way, but George Peyton likes to be a little bit more hesitant with it.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_02]: So that is something to keep in mind there as well.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I do find it funny.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: Go on back.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned a bold prediction hinted at that with Troy Franklin.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think you and I are going to be on opposite ends with a Troy Franklin bold prediction going off of what you said here.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: But stay getting back to the judge's game.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_02]: there again, they're rushing off or before we get into that.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, there was some comments here.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to get.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: Where is it?
- 32:48[SPEAKER_02]: I got to find it.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: David, he's saying coming in saying he's getting out of the ICU on Monday.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: Hope everything is getting.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, things are getting better.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hope you have continued.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: Good health going forward, David.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: And Michael coming in and saying, Eric and Carl, the Broncos play on my birthday on Sunday, October 12th.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Happy early birthday, Michael, hope you have a wonderful day.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: Hope the Broncos, you know, help lead you to having a wonderful day by winning and beating the chets.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: I would sing happy birthday, but I don't want to make anybody go deaf because I cannot sing.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: But our viewers would just drop to zero if you and I sang happy birthday.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, definitely, they probably start demanding money back as well, need it for hearing
- 33:33[SPEAKER_02]: But continuing on with this, I talked about it, the defense, Quinn and Williams, and Jamie and Sherwood, Jamie and Sherwood leads the NFL in run stops for zero or, Quinn and Williams leads the NFL in run stops for no gain or loss of yards.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: And Jamie and Sherwood leads the NFL in percentage.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: of negative, or negative force, negative plays against the runner, something like that.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember exactly off that mad.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_02]: I'd have to double check.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: So those are two guys you have to account for.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: And it's unfortunate.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_02]: No Ben Powers going back to that, Matt Pirate.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_02]: That is why I expect to be the starter just because that seems to be what preseason indicated, not even just this preseason, but last preseason.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_02]: When Matt Pirate was that backup on the right side, of course it didn't happen into it, because up until now, Ben Powers has started every game he's been eligible for.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_02]: Since starting to the Broncos, so it hasn't been an issue prior to now of needing that backup on the left side.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_02]: But Quentin Williams can cause all sorts of havoc.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: He has definitely whipped on Quinn minors in the past.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_02]: Their last meeting Quinn minors, I think, had did a little bit better.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: And so the jet started to flip him over and he started to have some success against Ben Powers.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: So when you're losing that,
- 34:51[SPEAKER_02]: That opens up the door for Quinn minors to be and that's also playing all down on the line with your hand in the dirt that is in the gap that Jamie showed what follows up behind so those two have been a great duo when they've done that it's been what it's been when they've been the best is when they're lining up on the same side of the line to finish one behind the other and so it then powers out.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they weren't Russian, so well, between the middle line on the left side, so that left side A gap and B gap, Denver hasn't been running so well.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is a game that that just becomes even more dangerous because of the loss of Ben Powers.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: Jets likely moving Quinn and Williams over to that side more consistently putting him at front of Jamie and Sherwood who have been to great run defenders on the jets and it's unfortunate because Jamie and Sherwood was one of those linebackers of the Broncos were interested in.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: He ended up resigning with the jets before for agency actually started and Denver had
- 35:53[SPEAKER_00]: imagine having a healthy linebacker that we paid and what they could be doing.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: But we got another birthday coming in here with Max saying evening, Eric and Carl, are we one of the least injured teams in the league?
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: We will win versus the jets 31 to nine.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: That is my birthday wish tomorrow.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for all you guys do.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go Broncos.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think if I remember right in our
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: predictive article that we put out.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think I said 27 to 9.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think is what I said where the Broncos kind of lean into the run game in the second half because they're dominating.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: And as for the least, injured teams and yeah, I think the Broncos are up there.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they're tops, for sure, but I would say they're top 10.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't looked at the stats or anything, but obviously almost all the starters have been pretty healthy.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: Evan Ingraham's been in and out
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think if anybody else on the offense, other than now, been powers being out.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: And then, of course, defense, you've had green law, missed the entire year.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_00]: Roach is missed time.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty much everybody else has been healthy.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody not, it's gonna be the case.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Joan Ellis, I guess, is out for a little, at least this week.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: What we'll see how that plays out, moving forward kind of thing.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_00]: And the great thing is a lot of these guys are gonna be able to come back.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going to have to live without him for the rest of the year, you know, like I said, Joan Ellis should be back, green law, hopefully, hopefully he plays this year.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's, this is where I hate coach speak, where coach is always trying to play down play and trees.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, they're making progress.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: They should be fine for week one, we get to week one.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know what, it's just a little bit more time.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're just being cautious.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, we're going to put them on and reserve short term.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: So in hamstring injuries, or I guess it's quad injury for him, even either of those.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's such a touchy thing where it'll feel better for a couple days.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you test it out, Ron, and all of a sudden you have a setback.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's just those are very, very tricky injuries.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the Patriots are running into that with Christian Zollis.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're corner back.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: I think so.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's been having hamstring injury and he re-acquivated it this last week.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, those were the tough things to fight through, but happy birthday to you as well, Max.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: Man, this is a good time to have a birthday.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_02]: And even though Paul says he can hit mutant we can sing happy birthday there's no guarantee everybody else would well mute unless we so but we everybody everybody mute and we'll sing happy birthday all right.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: We'll just do that.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_02]: There we go.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_02]: We'll just melt the words.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see here.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: You know speed number days.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's been a lot of times and then there's been able to have a game on my birthday and.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: We're getting to the point where with the quality of the team, it can actually happen.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: Not this year because my birthday is on a Thursday, but Denver, outside of you know that final regular season game, Denver's at a point where they're playing more games in January to where they can actually play on my birthday.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: Which is always nice to have.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_02]: But we have Quentin called, we'll come in with a $5 super jet saying, hey, everybody, I don't know why, but I'm having a feeling the jets will get their first in this section on us.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos just can't overlook the jets.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: And this is my slight fear with this game.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think Denver should be able to go in and easily handle the jets and walk out with the wind really easy.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: My fear is that they're slightly overlooking the jets and riding high after beating the eagles, helping lead to them overlooking the jets a little bit.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_02]: to where they come out, get punched in the mouth, and then don't respond very well to it.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: That is my fear with this.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think Sean Payton should have the team a little bit more focus in that, not like we've seen in with some previous head coaches that they knew how to get for one.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_02]: But that is my fear for it, especially with the jets, they are such an hard for that first win.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_02]: And they are trying to do something, and they've gotten close a few times this year.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're
- 40:09[SPEAKER_02]: So they've been close, I don't want to say they're better than the record indicates because this is a bad team.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: but they are a team that they're close enough to where a couple lucky breaks could be enough before them to walk out with the win.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: It gets the Broncos, especially with the fact that Broncos have not put a complete game together yet this season.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_02]: Outside the Bengals game, which I'm kind of throwing out because of how bad the Bengals were, and the status of them with their team both on offense and defense.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: And even then, I wouldn't say that was a real complete game.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: And the Jets, like I said, it's tough to tell, you know, last week against Dallas, they were downright terrible.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like the final score doesn't indicate how much of a beating that was.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Jets scored a couple points there at the end to kind of make it a little bit closer.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: But they took, like I said, Pittsburgh to the final, a little bit of the game, probably should have won that one.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just a couple bad penalties.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think they had a couple turnovers in that one as well.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_00]: but still ended up 3432 and then they took the bucks down to the wires, well, the only lost by two in that game.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_00]: So those are two playoff caliber rosters that they played really tough.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, just some fields, he's not a quarterback that scares me too much, but at the same time, if he makes a guy miss a tackle, he can take a three yard play and turn into a 50 yard play.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: And as here,
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: get a couple turnovers, those are the great equalizer.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_00]: If they can get plus two in the turnover department, yeah, they've got a great chance to win this game.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Brock has been pretty fortunate, not to have too many fumbles, they've been knock-on wood.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe this is that game where somebody has an inadvertent fumble.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe,
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: They say RJ Harvey, you know, being a rookie, that bad happens where they give them a little bit more run in this one and try to see if maybe his speed can help get them towards the outside where they're getting away from a Clinton Williams in a sure wood and and trying to use that to an advantage.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: There's always those ways that there's going to be those games every year that you're like how in the world did that team lose a game, like how did they lose against that kind of vote on it?
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I hope that's not the case for us.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: I do think like you said, Champagne's then a better job keeping this team focused.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, we won and Philly, we're not going home.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: We're just blind over now.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you guys aren't going to go home and party for the evening and then we're going to fly over.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: It sounds like there's a pretty big party on the plane from what I understand.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, getting away from everybody, they're having their practices out in the middle, nowhere, so it's not like you can even go explore all over the, all over Europe and see those kinds of things.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know Sean Peyton talked about it where he had one player try to sneak and take all the passports because he was gonna take the players to Amsterdam.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: And, yeah, that probably wouldn't have gone very well.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so thankfully, they didn't end up getting to go do that.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: But I do, I think he's done a pretty good job of keeping the focus.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's done a great job as we saw last year that the games that the Broncos should win, they won.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: They destroyed opponents that were a lesser team than them.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, like I said, looking ahead to the Giants, now after their Thursday night game, you could be overlooking this game just a little bit.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: And that's all it takes, a little bump, early game, where you get yourself in a hole.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams make some mistake.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: Special teams hasn't been great for the Broncos so far this year.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: They cost the Broncos a game.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_00]: You could say they're against the cults.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: And they've allowed, I think it was against the Titans.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: They allowed a really big return.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: Lutz has been, I mean, I know he's only missed one field goal, but he is not looked sharp so far this year.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, his kicks are not like straight down the middle, perfect kick every single time.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of going to the right and that against the Eagles, like there is one head and straight right and I'm like, oh my gosh, I don't know if the wind picked up and kind of brought it back or what, but it had a weird spin on it.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: So he's kicking a little bit weird.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: And,
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: So there's plenty of ways.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get to the to the two down part here, but the Broncos should win this game.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a very good team.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a very balanced both offense defense.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_00]: They can make life very difficult.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, they've been great against quarterbacks that want to take off running.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's had success against them so far.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_00]: Dale and Hertz three yards.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's actually the quarterback with the most rushing yards against the Broncos three yards.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: So Justin Fields will be a different kind of test, but I think they can handle it.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: And then real quick, we have Todd talking about trades.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: In other way to create money, as you wave a contractor, trade players have some solid chemistry created, but you're not freeing up a lot of money with that at this point.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: And restructures, during the season, they're doable, but the brokers have kind of exhausted themselves with their ability to restructured contracts, part of that being, a lot of new contracts.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_02]: You typically don't restrict your contracts within the first two years of the deal, either the year or the year after, Denver's already done that a couple times in it, put yourself in a pretty bad position with the contract.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: So that's rough to do.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then trading or waving players, it's not guys that are making enough money to be a significant difference maker.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: I saw Todd mentioned,
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually less than that because they've had their five game checks for it for the game already, which balances out because whoever you're trading for obviously they would have X amount of game checks at this point five pulled out of the out of what their base salary is or roster bonus or whatever than however the money is structured.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: So it doesn't really open up a lot of space to trade our way of players because it's not trading or cutting big contract guys with the exception and the possible exception of Alex single tin.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's the only guy that really that can make sense to be cut at this point or sorry, to be traded at this point and to free up a large space because you can't cut them because it's contract guaranteed.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: Veteran contracts, they guarantee after the first week of
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: his contracts guaranteed so you can't cut him you have to trade for him.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: And basically his value right now is a ham sandwich, which is that 2020 that three year down the road 7th round pick conditional is about all you're going to get for so there's there's not a lot of options to great salary cap space once you get into the regular season it is a little bit more difficult salary cap can always be manipulated.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_02]: far easier to do that in the odd season than it is in the regular season though.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, something you could do, you could, I guess, restructure the contract of the like, you know, sign them to an extension as you're doing the trade.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: So if you trade it for like an in joku,
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: you could, yeah, trade singles.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: That would be great.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: I really, if anybody gave anything for him, that would be a big bonus to like, I'd be like towards Peyton, man, you are the man.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like you should win GM of the year just for that kind of trade at this point.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: But, but no, I do think, like I said, you'd have to redo the deal at a couple of years to the contract and try to get that first year hit down to a couple million dollars and have it be that.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, well, we'll see, I do think the Broncos are probably working the phone's plenty, trying to find something to kind of come help this roster, because they're close.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: They are very, very close to being right up there with those upper echelon teams.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, especially if, if,
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: bonus can be that fourth quarter quarterback that he was.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you can put that together for a full game, obviously that puts him in that top 10 quarterback range.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll have to see, you know, maybe he does take off like he did last year or he just needed a month to kind of get his head right, get him get used to to how the NFL functions.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_00]: Once again, you know, I know, Sean Peyton throws a lot early in the year at a quarterback end and just the entire offense.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's very well documented that his
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: teams, especially on off and struggle in September, October is where they really start catching their footing, no members at time where they really start taking off.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we'll see that happen.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: I hope so, but we'll all just have to see.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_00]: So you wanted to get some some bold predictions.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, before I get to that, if you want to give a quick comment to test prep here,
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: Every time I see your name, it reminds me of my daughter's schoolwork because she has a whole thing of test prep and it's just teaching her tricks of doing test prep or testing all that's up.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_02]: As in Camden talking on the trades, what about JFM at the Broncos and what to pay him?
- 49:01[SPEAKER_02]: They him, can they just trade him for value?
- 49:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but then you're making your defensive line significantly worse because Savion Jones didn't look ready to step up.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan Jackson has been terrible in a UMA was a recade has not been good or consistent enough for it.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to think that has to be a factor into it as well.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos they still have playoff and more.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_02]: Beliefs in themselves.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_02]: So you got to figure out who you can cut that's not a significant hit to what you're doing on defense or offense, whichever side of the ball.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_02]: Dronfank Amir's would be a significant hit because he's doing a lot of things that is helping those around him.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_02]: Even if he himself isn't being part of the play.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: other people are.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's doing the right things to help others and Zach Allen actually had a comment about that today about the reason why he's having such a good that his two years year last year coincides with John Funk and Myers arriving and there's a reason for that.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: And he was looting to John Funk and Myers doing so much to help him be able to be as good as he is.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: So getting to a the ball predictions here
- 50:09[SPEAKER_02]: What is one of what is yours for do you have one for the offense and the defense?
- 50:13[SPEAKER_02]: Typically.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: What's your idea?
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we'll start with the offense here.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: I do think like I said with the number two and number three corner back being down for for the jets.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is a huge game for guys like MIMS and Franklin and Bryant.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think they've got a real chance to go make an impact.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think Franklin's going to get the first shot.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_00]: I he's been so up and down this year, but this will be a big game for him where he's going to he's been right against man coverage like he gets decent separation and I think this is one of those games where he's going to be targeted probably seven eight times.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think he can make five catches if he gets a hold of one go and deep off said he could be that guy that has maybe a
- 51:01[SPEAKER_00]: kind of think of how bold I want to make it what what yardage total like what we'll be considered bold for him and I guess I'll go 90 yards in a touchdown for Franklin in this game.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: Now mine is that.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: This is another rough showing from Troy Franklin.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say, I don't not that he doesn't do anything, but just be a little bit more limited.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: So Troy Franklin, he has four catches for 19 yards total when facing man coverage and he is barely being targeted.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's only been targeted at six times in man coverage.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_02]: He has been struggling to get separation in against man and that is, again, talked about earlier, that is where the defense lives and dies.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: So if Denver can force more zone or if they switch up more zones with Brandon Stevens having his neck hurt and possibly may or may not playing this game be as questionable, maybe they forced the chain force to change here, which opens the door for Franklin have a good game, but just with his track record against man coverage, I wouldn't be necessarily looking his way because Brandon Stevens has been a pretty good corner for the last couple of years.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: I think that this is a big game for for Evan Ingram to worry.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: He kind of started to see him come out in the Eagles game.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is one where he really emerges and kind of sets himself as that second receiver, that second offensive weapon I guess in the passing game in this one with a large J where he goes for not quite 100 yards but more than 75 and being that that counter
- 52:41[SPEAKER_00]: I get on board with that.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I debated ink from just because I did love what they saw last week.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, once they really made a commitment of we're going to go after this guy, he had some nice place for them.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they're going to try to push that a lot more as they go about just, I think by the end of the year, he will still be our number two receiving option.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's he's a very good target.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's just not been getting the snaps because they've been focusing on the run game.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: They've been going a lot of big packages.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: And rightfully so, you know, it's great that we're seeing Sean Peyton willing to commit to the run game, you know, sometimes in the past he's he's forced the past game.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: And there's been a couple games this year where he's maybe gotten a little out of control with some of that.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we saw it was at week one where there was like 18 straight passes.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: That wasn't all Sean Pate.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: That was Bow Nick's changing the plays a lot.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: And so I've got to make sure that's that's out there.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: But all right, so the defense.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say I know this is a great rushing team for the.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: for the jets.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm going to say that the Broncos hold them under a hundred yards rushing in this one.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Broncos are going to be so committed to that and just daring Justin Fields have to beat him through the air.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I love, you know, you're going to have, like I said, that
- 54:11[SPEAKER_00]: That match up between Garrett Wilson and Patrick Surtan.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think Surtan's gonna be fine there.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: I like our cornerbacks against all their other wide receivers.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you can play some man and really commit to the box those eight nine guys and just trust that those are, that's gonna hold up well.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: And so like I said, I think they're going to really try to force it that you're going to have to beat us over the top and just some fields just doesn't have that ability at this time and so that's where I'm going to be bold prediction under 100 yards rushing in this game.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now, every week I do an article, five bullet predictions, and I always try to go different in the ones that I talk the one I give on the show than I do on that, which articles not out yet comes out.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_02]: I believe tomorrow.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure you guys check it out.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: I have my key matchups coming out.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_02]: I believe the one for the defense is already on a mile.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'll come make sure you guys check it out.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_02]: But mine for the defense, I am going to steal it from this because it also coincides with yours.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: I think that they force Justin Fields to pass it over 40 times because I think they focus on stopping the run and they not only that, but the park is going to get out to an early lead and force it to where you can't really run the ball.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: You got to go for the big place to get back in it and that I didn't mention my score prediction earlier.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_02]: I have done for winning this 38 to 9.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's what it is.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have it being close.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think Denver is going to use that Eagles game.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_02]: And instead of using that and writing high, I think they're going to use that as a focus and build off of that.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_02]: And really put together a clean game and a complete game all around.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that they forced Justin Fields to throw the ball over 40 times.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_02]: Or the Jets quarterback over four times, I should say, because Justin Fields, he's been a little bit deemed dump already.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: He was caught limping after practice yesterday.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think is when it was so I don't know if he's I don't remember if he's on the injury report or not, but he's definitely seeming like he's a little being neat yet he's been a full practice all week, but he's been dealing with an injury on the injury report and yes, I pretty sure was actually he was caught limping after practice.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_02]: if he comes out then Tyra Taylor being forced to complete that so.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_02]: More than 40 passing temps against the jets from the jet's quarterback in general for that.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: Any last thing you want to talk about, Carl?
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, I would say if the jets have any chance winning this game, Justin Fields has to have less than 25 pass attempts in this game.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the number he's got a shoot for it.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be the old Seattle Russell Wilson.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: Where you hope that he can complete about 17 of 22 passes and you know, he makes maybe a magical pass at some point that really opens things up, but you really lean into the run game as much as he possibly can.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: And just let his legs open up either a pass play or run down the field.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think Justin Fields will have that opportunity in this one, like you said, and they're going to force their hand.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I really, you know,
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: And he was talking about how the fourth quarter there with Bow Nix, like you just saw things clicking for him, like he just looked like he was seeing the field differently than he did earlier in the game.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, he talked about how when he was in college there was a moment where it just hit him.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like I belong here.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: He made a throw and practice and one of the coaches came up was like, man, that was perfect.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: And it was just that moment where he was like, oh, I can do this.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_00]: And I just feel like that was one of those moments where it's such a confidence booster for botanics, especially just those late game moments.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's been close.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes the failures have not been his own, you know, where Miss Peel Gold against the Chiefs, like that could have been one of those moments where it's just like fam, look at this, he welcomed in the NFL this guy belongs and unfortunately, field gold blocked.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: You think about the Bangle's game, two late, fourth quarter touchdowns, get that game back tied up, really wish the Broncos would have gone for two in that one, with how the Bangle's were playing, you know, on offense, man, you don't give them a chance.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: And that I wonder if that played into the decision against the John Peyton actually talked about it and he was he made a comment about how that Cincinnati Bengals game not going for to sat on his mind influence his decision to go for to against the Eagles, which is what I was going to bring up so that's still side again that was still a major coaching blender.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_02]: I will never not forgive Sean Peyton for not going for doing that situation.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I then shrink, I come in and turn over so that it's only hope.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say turn over specifically, but the Broncos shooting themselves in the foot.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Turnovers, stupid penalties which the Broncos have been doing all season long.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, stupid communication errors.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos shooting themselves in the foot enough is the way that jets went.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: Put it differently.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that Jets beat the Broncos, I think the Broncos beat the Broncos for the Jets.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: If that makes sense.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's where I think the Jets chances lie.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that's going to do it for us, but before we get out here, I do have some quick matters of business to go through as you guys can now see going across the bottom of your screen.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can become a member at youtube.com slash at mile and a hurdle where you guys can get access to all sorts of exclusive content that we have already included in government's corner and Broncos book club and some other stuff that's in the work, although it may not be until after the seasons over.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: you guys can also subscribe.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_02]: I can share it takes only a matter of time.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good way to just help spread the word and help us fight the algorithms that are ever changing.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_02]: Especially on Facebook and YouTube that are ever being so frustrating for us.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can also take a matter of time and go over to Spotify or podcasts or wherever you have going to be listening to this after the fact.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_02]: And leave a five-story view for a chance to win some gear, not swag.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_02]: I hate saying swag every single month.
- 1:00:06[SPEAKER_02]: You guys can also follow us on Instagram at Mila Heidel with an underscore between Mila and Hyen Hyen Heidel and if you guys are able to do so especially with the holiday holiday season coming up But you guys are going to start seeing boxes stack up behind me more and more as we do our holiday shopping for like 30 people But you guys can go to imageagemerks.com to get your gear on not shrank again a hate thing shrank where you guys get hats like the

- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm just excited to go watch the game.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I won't be able to watch it live.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_00]: I told my daughter, I might have her have the phone in the pew.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, be giving me thumbs up or thumbs down.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: But, I'll watch it afterwards and excited to hopefully see the Broncos forward to maybe even winning the division after this week.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_00]: I doubt it because Chargers play in the Dolphins.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: They should win that one.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_00]: But, if anybody saw this starting off, it's a line for the Chargers in this game.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_00]: Good luck, Justin Herbert.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'll be hard at starting it.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought Bobby Hart's been out of the NFL for like four years.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's not good, it's not good.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_00]: So Justin Herbert might not make it through the game.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_02]: No, Carl, what you should do is, do you have like a screen a projector for what what you do where you can hook your phone up to it?
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we do.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: You should do that and just put on the group chat and just let that play through and you can keep following the game through our messages.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because, you know, that won't get you in trouble like, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no bad things in our chat ever.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_02]: No, we're perfectly little, we're perfectly little angels in our group chat there.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_02]: But, Carl, I want to say thank you so much for joining us on this Friday night taken and hour out of your time.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_02]: And,
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_02]: for coming in and joining.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe that here in just over a week will be together in person.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_02]: Just like it was always meant to be, but unfortunately, Nick will be there as well.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's always a great time at the meet and greet and having that night before with all the staff.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, I'm really looking forward to this year.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_02]: So, can't wait to see you in a little over week.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_02]: Can't wait to have a wonderful time at the meet and greet.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: But before we get to that, we got to watch the Jets beat the, or the Broncos beat the Jets.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_02]: I almost said that backwards.
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_02]: Whew.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, it means a very early morning for me.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: I am not a morning person.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_02]: I am a night person, which is funny with me doing the morning shows twice a week.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, it's, I'm definitely a night person.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_02]: Bye, guys.
- 1:03:02[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Quentin.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: One day, one year, hopefully, we get to see there along with a lot of other guys here in the chat.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's not always easy financially, depending on where you're in the country.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's not easy for me financially with where I'm at, but it's always a fun time, hope to see a lot of you guys there.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_02]: We will be here.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_02]: I will be here on Monday, next Wednesday and next Friday.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_02]: So, normal week for me, the following week will be a little bit different.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_02]: So, can't wait to talk about hopefully the Broncos beating the Jets Monday morning.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_02]: Stay safe, don't drink and drive, and as our good friend Nick always says, choose kind of some compassion.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, go Broncos.
