- 0:54Speaker 1: I think maybe I had too much coffee, or maybe
- 0:57Speaker 1: it's just that I have a lot going on, so
- 0:59Speaker 1: my brain is on overdrive. But I'm Terry Truecrime and
- 1:04Speaker 1: welcome to Midday Missing, where I highlight ongoing missing person
- 1:09Speaker 1: cases in hopes of bringing more attention to them. And

- 1:34Speaker 1: those guys. And we have the investigation into the disappearance
- 1:38Speaker 1: of Chase Lackey and night Court will be returning on
- 1:42Speaker 1: October sixth with a new format. And we are also
- 1:49Speaker 1: excited to announce, which I know I've shared here, up
- 1:52Speaker 1: coming launch of our new series, Dearest Mother's Darkest, Darkest Secrets,
- 1:58Speaker 1: which premieres for the public on October second, with early
- 2:03Speaker 1: access for our paid members starting September twenty fourth. Now
- 2:08Speaker 1: paid members will get every episode a week early. And
- 2:14Speaker 1: I thought I would just share a quick little video
- 2:18Speaker 1: for Dearest Mothers. Okay, guys, and I need to tell
- 2:40Speaker 1: you it is truly going to be the darkest series
- 2:46Speaker 1: I've ever done. It goes beyond bunny boilers. I have
- 2:52Speaker 1: yet to come up with a new name for bunny boilers,
- 2:56Speaker 1: So if anybody has suggestions on what we call females
- 3:02Speaker 1: who are just beyond bunny boiler, batshit, crazy, insane, send
- 3:08Speaker 1: it to me, because I need a new word because
- 3:11Speaker 1: bunny boiler just doesn't do it for what we've got
- 3:15Speaker 1: going on with Dearest Mothers. Now today I am going
- 3:20Speaker 1: to cover a couple of cases heartbreaking as always, but
- 3:27Speaker 1: first I want to share about Corey Daniellie Danielle. I'm
- 3:34Speaker 1: having trouble seeing his name, but he is a well
- 3:37Speaker 1: known figure in the North Bay music scene and he
- 3:41Speaker 1: has been missing since August seventh, twenty twenty three. And
- 3:45Speaker 1: as you can see from his photo, I mean he
- 3:50Speaker 1: is he's loving that guitar and he is an attractive guy. Now.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He performed under the stage name crumb Dread, which I
- 4:01Speaker 1: thought was kind of interesting, but he was last seen
- 4:04Speaker 1: in the early hours on his thirty third birthday. Guys
- 4:09Speaker 1: in Kerman, California. Family and friends have been desperately searching
- 4:14Speaker 1: forever answers ever since he disappeared, and in thirties are
- 4:21Speaker 1: saying the more time goes they suspect foul play in
- 4:25Speaker 1: his disappearance. So what happened? On the night of August sixth,
- 4:30Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, Corey was visiting an acquaintance in Kerman,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which is a small city in Fresno County for those
- 4:38Speaker 1: of you that don't know the Bay Area, and according
- 4:40Speaker 1: to reports, he left the residence on foot around three
- 4:44Speaker 1: am on August seventh, which was his birthday. Now, at first,
- 4:48Speaker 1: when I read that, I was like, wow, three am,
- 4:51Speaker 1: But then I'm like, it's his birthday. He's a musician.
- 4:55Speaker 1: They don't go to bed like nine o'clock like I
- 4:58Speaker 1: do because he's young. I'm old. But it was his birthday.
- 5:03Speaker 1: But despite numerous attempts by his family to reach him
- 5:07Speaker 1: via phone calls and text messages to say happy birthday,
- 5:11Speaker 1: Corey never responded, and his family said the lack of
- 5:16Speaker 1: communication was highly unusual and raised immediate concerns. He was
- 5:22Speaker 1: one of those people that was going to get back
- 5:25Speaker 1: to you. He was going to answer his phone and
- 5:27Speaker 1: say Hey, I'm caught up right now. Kind I call
- 5:30Speaker 1: you back. So he was much better about answering text
- 5:34Speaker 1: messages than I am. But Corey's family reported him missing
- 5:39Speaker 1: on August night, after two days of silence because at
- 5:42Speaker 1: first they were like, he's out partying for his birthday.
- 5:45Speaker 1: You know, we're giving him some space. But the same day,
- 5:49Speaker 1: on August night, a friend of Corey's, Zach Styles, posted
- 5:54Speaker 1: a concerning message on Corey's Facebook page, stating, this is
- 6:00Speaker 1: Zach Styles and I'm reaching out to see if anyone
- 6:03Speaker 1: has heard from Corey yesterday or today. I have his
- 6:07Speaker 1: phones and his belongings. Please let me know. Okay, My
- 6:14Speaker 1: first thought, guys, if he had his phone, why didn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: you answer it when it rang? Because you don't have
- 6:23Speaker 1: to unlock a phone to answer it. I don't think
- 6:26Speaker 1: maybe it's a setting, but that made me curious if
- 6:28Speaker 1: the family had been trying to call him, why wait
- 6:31Speaker 1: two days? But following the post, Corey's family reached out
- 6:35Speaker 1: to Zach for more information. Zach claimed that Corey had
- 6:39Speaker 1: hitchtike back to the North Bay after an altercation at
- 6:44Speaker 1: the home where he was last seeing, and Zach also
- 6:49Speaker 1: mentioned that Corey left the house without a shirt, and
- 6:54Speaker 1: Cory's mother confirmed this. I'm not sure how she confirmed
- 6:58Speaker 1: this if she, you know, just heard it from multiple people.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But adding to this mystery, Corey's personal belongings beside his
- 7:08Speaker 1: phone were left okay, which made it even more suspicious. Now,
- 7:14Speaker 1: the Fresno County Sheriff's Office has classified Corey's disappearance as
- 7:19Speaker 1: suspicious and does not rule out foul play okay. In
- 7:26Speaker 1: the days following his dis appearance, the Fresno County Sheriff's
- 7:30Speaker 1: Office launched an extensive search and rescue operations. Teams combed
- 7:36Speaker 1: through the surrounding areas, including the vast orchards, open fields, vineyards,
- 7:42Speaker 1: canals and ponds in nearby outbuildings, but unfortunately, they turned
- 7:48Speaker 1: up no trace of Corey. Now, the homework Corey was
- 7:53Speaker 1: last seen was also searched by police, but the police
- 7:57Speaker 1: are not releasing any information to the public about that search,
- 8:03Speaker 1: which I found that interesting. Now, in the Fresno area,
- 8:09Speaker 1: in case some of you don't know that up in
- 8:13Speaker 1: the Bay area, there are a lot of vineyards, but
- 8:16Speaker 1: there are also a lot of farms. Some of the
- 8:19Speaker 1: best white sweet corn I've ever had came from Brentwood,
- 8:24Speaker 1: which is up in the Bay area, so lots of
- 8:28Speaker 1: places to search, and they're saying they searched it all.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So I'm hoping they did. Now, Corey was more than
- 8:35Speaker 1: just a missing person to family. He was a beloved
- 8:39Speaker 1: musician with deep roots in the North Bay music community. Guys.
- 8:43Speaker 1: He began his musical musical journey at the tender age
- 8:48Speaker 1: of six when he received his first pair of drumsticks. Sex, Guys,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I mean that's impressive. His passion for music only grew
- 8:59Speaker 1: and he later joined the church choir and received a
- 9:02Speaker 1: keyboard at age twelve from a fellow musician. Now, guys,
- 9:08Speaker 1: Corey also is a father. He had a toddler at
- 9:10Speaker 1: the time he went missing. So families, this child, they
- 9:15Speaker 1: need to know where he is. Corey became a prominent
- 9:20Speaker 1: figure in the music scene with his band, and they
- 9:23Speaker 1: were scheduled to perform on August eleventh, just days after
- 9:27Speaker 1: he disappeared, and he didn't show. Now. Joss Windmiller, the
- 9:32Speaker 1: director of development at the Lost Church, a local music venue,
- 9:36Speaker 1: described Corey as an integral part of the community, someone
- 9:40Speaker 1: whose presence is sorely missed. And Corey is described as
- 9:46Speaker 1: a five foot eight inch tall man, weighing approximately one
- 9:50Speaker 1: hundred and ninety pounds, with long dreadlocks and brown eyes.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He was last seen wearing red sweatpants, Nike shoes, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: no shirt, which, guys, I thought that in itself was
- 10:05Speaker 1: interesting that he wasn't wearing a shirt, but I guess
- 10:11Speaker 1: he decided to not wear a shirt. But if you
- 10:16Speaker 1: have any information regarding the disappearance of Corey, please call
- 10:22Speaker 1: the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at five five nine six
- 10:26Speaker 1: zero zero three one one one. Now, his family and
- 10:33Speaker 1: everybody in the North Bay community is wanting to know
- 10:39Speaker 1: what happened to Corey as well as his family. Now, guys,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I am trying to be all technical, and we know
- 10:49Speaker 1: that is not my strong suit, but a girl is
- 10:54Speaker 1: going to give it a try. So I want to
- 10:59Speaker 1: share a picture of Laila, who we're going to talk
- 11:02Speaker 1: about next. Her picture is a little smaller, so hopefully
- 11:08Speaker 1: you guys are still able to see it. Ooh, that's
- 11:11Speaker 1: too tiny. Sorry, guys. I tried to do this last minute,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and as we see, I didn't succeed on that, But
- 11:24Speaker 1: that's okay. Next, we're going to talk about Layla don Atkins.
- 11:29Speaker 1: She also is known as Layla Blizzard. I couldn't find
- 11:33Speaker 1: anything about that a little bit more, but I thought
- 11:36Speaker 1: that was interesting because I like the name Blizzard. But
- 11:39Speaker 1: she has been missing since November thirteenth, two thousand and eight.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Her last known location was in Leeds, Alabama, specifically in
- 11:49Speaker 1: the eleven two hundred block of Shelby County Highway forty one,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and at the time of her disappearance, she was thirty
- 11:57Speaker 1: two years old. She was five foot eleven and weighed
- 12:01Speaker 1: around one hundred and twenty pounds. Now. She did have
- 12:05Speaker 1: some struggles previously in her life with prescription medication and
- 12:09Speaker 1: other substances, but she was a devoted mother who kept
- 12:14Speaker 1: in touch with her two daughters even though she did
- 12:17Speaker 1: not have custody of them. So Layla last contacted her
- 12:23Speaker 1: family on November thirteenth, two thousand and eight. She lived
- 12:28Speaker 1: with a man on a Highway forty one and Leads, Alabama,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but shortly after, like I said, she vanished without a trace.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Concerned about her sudden silence, her brother and sister in
- 12:39Speaker 1: law in North Carolina reported her missing two months after
- 12:45Speaker 1: anyone last heard from her two months now. In the
- 12:50Speaker 1: weeks leading up to her disappearance, Laila had written letters
- 12:54Speaker 1: to her daughters detailing her efforts to find a new
- 12:58Speaker 1: job and her plan to build a future with the
- 13:01Speaker 1: man she was living with at the time. She had
- 13:03Speaker 1: even expressed a desire to cook Thanksgiving dinner for him
- 13:07Speaker 1: and eventually move into an apartment together. These hopeful plans
- 13:12Speaker 1: stand and start contrast to her just disappearing. So because
- 13:17Speaker 1: she was doing that leads you to think she did
- 13:20Speaker 1: not just decide to go missing on her own. The
- 13:24Speaker 1: Shelby County Sheriff's Office took up the case, But guys,
- 13:28Speaker 1: the investigation has been challenging from the start. Two months later,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and it was a brother and sister in law, not
- 13:36Speaker 1: the man she was staying with, who reported her and
- 13:40Speaker 1: the boyfriend at the time claimed that she had moved
- 13:43Speaker 1: out and that he believed she was in Houston, Texas
- 13:47Speaker 1: with the man she had been commuting had communicating with
- 13:51Speaker 1: on Facebook. However, authorities track down this man. He said
- 13:56Speaker 1: he hadn't seen Layla in years, so maybe she reached
- 14:01Speaker 1: out to an old high school acquaintance or something. But
- 14:05Speaker 1: just because you talk to somebody on Facebook doesn't mean
- 14:07Speaker 1: you're going to run off and see them and as
- 14:10Speaker 1: you can imagine, that conflicting information made police a little
- 14:15Speaker 1: bit more suspicious. Now, further complicating the case is a
- 14:22Speaker 1: warrant issued for Layla's arrest in January two thousand and nine.
- 14:27Speaker 1: She pled guilty to theft and drug possession in two
- 14:30Speaker 1: thousand and eight and was given a conditional suspended sentence.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The warrant was issued due to her failure to comply
- 14:37Speaker 1: with the terms of her sentence. But despite these issues,
- 14:42Speaker 1: her families remain adamant that something happened to her. She
- 14:47Speaker 1: did not just decide to walk away. And as I've
- 14:51Speaker 1: said before, aliens did not come down from the sky
- 14:56Speaker 1: and beam her up. Okay, Now, when investigators checked the
- 15:01Speaker 1: house where Layla was last known to be saying, they
- 15:04Speaker 1: found it unoccupied and none of her personal belongings were
- 15:08Speaker 1: presents and guys. That left police with not a lot
- 15:14Speaker 1: to go on. Now, investigators did conduct a polygraph test
- 15:18Speaker 1: on Layla's first X husband and her father, but her
- 15:22Speaker 1: housemate at the time refused to take the test. So
- 15:27Speaker 1: not only did he say he thinks she's in Houston, Texas,
- 15:32Speaker 1: he refused to do a light detector test. Now, that
- 15:37Speaker 1: to me doesn't make you automatically suspicious because I personally
- 15:42Speaker 1: wouldn't take a light detector test. But I will say,
- 15:46Speaker 1: if double H goes missing and everybody else is doing
- 15:51Speaker 1: a test, I'm going to talk to an attorney and
- 15:53Speaker 1: have them go with me. But I will do it
- 15:57Speaker 1: just so they can move past me unless the attorney
- 16:00Speaker 1: told me not to. But Layla's daughter, Caitlin, has been
- 16:05Speaker 1: very vocal about her frustrations with this investigation. She expressed
- 16:10Speaker 1: her belief that the involvement of drugs in her mother's
- 16:13Speaker 1: life may have led authorities to take her case less seriously.
- 16:18Speaker 1: She said, I hate to say it, but I don't
- 16:21Speaker 1: think the police take as much consideration when drugs are involved,
- 16:27Speaker 1: and she laminated the limited contact she and her family
- 16:31Speaker 1: have had with the authorities working on this case. Guys,
- 16:35Speaker 1: something I have learned in the Chase Lackey case and
- 16:39Speaker 1: with investigating and covering other missing person cases. I want
- 16:43Speaker 1: to say her daughter is absolutely right. I had yet
- 16:48Speaker 1: to be proven wrong on that. I would love to
- 16:51Speaker 1: be proven wrong, but I know for sure Harris County
- 16:55Speaker 1: doesn't take a case as serious if you were involved
- 16:58Speaker 1: with drugs, which the person is still a person, They're
- 17:02Speaker 1: still a human There's still somebody's child, there's still somebody's
- 17:06Speaker 1: loved one. So Caitlyn has struggled with the lack of
- 17:11Speaker 1: closure because the family has not declared Layla legally dead,
- 17:18Speaker 1: nor have they held any form of a funeral or
- 17:21Speaker 1: memorial service. So this instant the same as death, Caitlyn said,
- 17:28Speaker 1: with death, you have the opportunity to grieve properly. With this,
- 17:33Speaker 1: you don't get to grieve because you don't have any answers.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Caitlyn says she has found some solace in watching other
- 17:42Speaker 1: stories of missing persons, in connecting with others who have
- 17:47Speaker 1: faced similar situations. As the years have passed and continue
- 17:53Speaker 1: to pass, Layla's disappearance remains a haunting mystery for her
- 17:57Speaker 1: family and friends. Please say they are still investigating. We
- 18:02Speaker 1: know my thoughts on that, but there is hope for answers,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and those who loved Layla continue to search for the
- 18:11Speaker 1: truth behind her sudden, an unexplained disappearance. Now, the cold
- 18:18Speaker 1: case Squad says they continue to seek information and they
- 18:21Speaker 1: will follow up on credible leads. So if you have
- 18:25Speaker 1: any information about Layla, please call the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
- 18:31Speaker 1: They can be contacted at two oh five six' six'
- 18:35Speaker 1: nine four to one, eight one, and guys you can
- 18:40Speaker 1: also submit tips online at shelbyso. Dot com and gonna
- 18:47Speaker 1: be honest and say it does not say that it.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Is ANONYMOUS so i am going to go out on
- 18:56Speaker 1: a limb and say it is. Not anonymous so just
- 19:00Speaker 1: keep that, in. Mind, Okay so i'm also going to, ask,
- 19:05Speaker 1: you guys please share the missing person flyers that are
- 19:09Speaker 1: posted On Our true Crime And Wine time facebook page
- 19:13Speaker 1: so that we can help these families get the word
- 19:16Speaker 1: out about their. Loved ones, NOW today i don't have
- 19:22Speaker 1: a cute story. FOR you i do not have, anything
- 19:25Speaker 1: Lighthearted and i'm not going to give you tips on what. To,
- 19:28Speaker 1: Do instead i'm going to give you tips on what
- 19:35Speaker 1: not to do if a loved one. Goes, missing, OKAY
- 19:40Speaker 1: guys i got, to Think and i'm always telling you
- 19:42Speaker 1: what to do or what you, should DO and, i decided,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know there's just as long a list of things not. To,
- 19:50Speaker 1: Do okay so let's. Get ready don't wait to report.
- 19:56Speaker 1: The disappearance time. Is critical you do not need to
- 20:00Speaker 1: wait twenty. Four hours report the. Person immediately do not
- 20:07Speaker 1: clean or disturb their. Personal belongings you want to leave
- 20:12Speaker 1: everything as is in case law enforcement needs to search,
- 20:16Speaker 1: for clues FINGERPRINTS or. Dna, evidence now one, Little caveat
- 20:22Speaker 1: i'm going, to say take a picture of. This stuff
- 20:24Speaker 1: don't touch it because as we learned In The chase,
- 20:28Speaker 1: lackey case his family took pictures and because of that
- 20:32Speaker 1: was able to prove that somebody went into the house
- 20:36Speaker 1: after he. Went missing so, YOU do i, would say,
- 20:39Speaker 1: take pictures but do not. Touch anything do not, Withhold
- 20:45Speaker 1: information be completely honest and provide any and, all details
- 20:50Speaker 1: even if you think it's small and it not. Be. Relevant,
- 20:54Speaker 1: okay also do not delay checking hospitals, and shelters call,
- 21:00Speaker 1: them all call, rehab centers do whatever you. Have to
- 21:06Speaker 1: if you know they hang out at a bar, like cheers. Call. Cheers,
- 21:10Speaker 1: okay also do not rely on social media only. For
- 21:16Speaker 1: help social media, is helpful but it is essential to
- 21:21Speaker 1: engage with law enforcement local. Authorities first once you get that,
- 21:27Speaker 1: police file that, report number then go to, social media
- 21:31Speaker 1: then go look. To, organizations also do not ignore, potential
- 21:36Speaker 1: leads no matter how small. Or trivial inform the authorities. About,
- 21:42Speaker 1: IT guys i can tell you that In The chase,
- 21:46Speaker 1: lackey case some information that we've recently received that we'll
- 21:50Speaker 1: be sharing on an. Update soon somebody thought it was
- 21:54Speaker 1: a very small didn't, really matter but they went ahead
- 21:58Speaker 1: And called it led us to several things and is
- 22:02Speaker 1: opening a Nice little. Pandora box so even if you
- 22:06Speaker 1: think it's, very small. Do, it okay go ahead. And,
- 22:10Speaker 1: share also don't assume the person will come back on.
- 22:14Speaker 1: THEIR own, i mean some cases, resolve quickly but you
- 22:20Speaker 1: want to treat. It seriously waiting, A day waiting a
- 22:24Speaker 1: couple of days makes it more difficult for police to. Follow.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Up okay don't approach the media. Too EARLY what i
- 22:34Speaker 1: mean by that don't call the media before you have
- 22:38Speaker 1: a police. Report. Number okay sometimes, we, think oh let's
- 22:42Speaker 1: just get the. Word out you want to call. The
- 22:45Speaker 1: police so you don't want to approach the media. Too early, and,
- 22:49Speaker 1: also guys you don't want to. Isolate yourself it's a
- 22:52Speaker 1: time to lean, on friends family and support groups because
- 22:58Speaker 1: you're not prepared. FOR this i cover missing, person CASES
- 23:02Speaker 1: and i have to TELL you i would not know
- 23:05Speaker 1: exactly what, to DO and I worry i would have
- 23:08Speaker 1: a tendency to try to just hang out in my
- 23:11Speaker 1: own little WORLD because i wouldn't want to bother. Other
- 23:13Speaker 1: people you're not bothering, other people so don't. Isolate, yourself
- 23:19Speaker 1: also don't hesitate to follow up. With authorities be PERSISTENT
- 23:24Speaker 1: because i am a firm believer that the squeaky wheel.
- 23:28Speaker 1: GETS attention i can tell you that FAMILIES that i
- 23:33Speaker 1: talk to about missing person cases when, they, say yeah
- 23:37Speaker 1: we haven't heard from law enforcement in, six Months and, i'm,
- 23:39Speaker 1: like well have you? Called? THEM oh i didn't want to,
- 23:42Speaker 1: bother them. Bother, Them okay so, don't hesitate just. Do
- 23:47Speaker 1: it don't ignore. Your, Intuition, okay guys if you have
- 23:53Speaker 1: a gut feeling about something, or someone share it with.
- 23:57Speaker 1: LAW enforcement i believe they're are some of us that
- 24:02Speaker 1: have a unusual knack for. Gut feelings, for example my,
- 24:09Speaker 1: YOUNGER son i can tell you when something's going on
- 24:13Speaker 1: EVEN if i haven't talked to him or. SEEN him
- 24:15Speaker 1: i just get, a Feeling and i've been right. Every
- 24:18Speaker 1: time so do not ignore. Your, intuition okay follow. Your, gut,
- 24:25Speaker 1: also GUYS and i really want you to listen to,
- 24:27Speaker 1: this one do not confront someone you think is. A
- 24:33Speaker 1: suspect or had something to do with it on. Your
- 24:36Speaker 1: own if they did something to your, loved one what's
- 24:41Speaker 1: to stop them from? Hurting you to keep the, Secret
- 24:45Speaker 1: quiet so do not confront suspects on. Your own if
- 24:50Speaker 1: you suspect someone may, be, involved okay tell the authorities
- 24:55Speaker 1: and let the authorities. Handle, it also that prevents you
- 24:59Speaker 1: from jeopardizing, the, investigation okay so that the person can
- 25:04Speaker 1: be brought to justice if they. Are, involved also it's, Your.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Safety okay don't share unverified, information. Publicly okay spreading rumors
- 25:16Speaker 1: or unconfirmed details can hinder the investigation and can cause. Unnecessary,
- 25:22Speaker 1: panic NOW when i read, THAT one i got to
- 25:27Speaker 1: think in that about like what's Happened in, chase's case
- 25:31Speaker 1: Even in, bianca's case who we covered that sharing information
- 25:37Speaker 1: that you can't verify because the person isn't here is
- 25:41Speaker 1: different than spreading. A, rumor okay a rumor would, be
- 25:47Speaker 1: oh so and so told Me that jack had something
- 25:50Speaker 1: to do. With it but yet you've never Talked, To
- 25:52Speaker 1: jack you've never. Done anything you don't want to tell. Somebody,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that okay tell law enforcement so they can check. It
- 25:58Speaker 1: out but you don't want to just share that and
- 26:05Speaker 1: don't forget to check their digital. Activity okay do not
- 26:10Speaker 1: log into their, account yourself because that could ruin the.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Evidence chain, you, can however from, your account see when
- 26:18Speaker 1: was the last time? They posted when did you know
- 26:21Speaker 1: they go On? To snapchat you can do all, of
- 26:23Speaker 1: that but do not log. In. Yourself, okay also don't
- 26:30Speaker 1: handle the. Media alone if a reporter calls you and
- 26:34Speaker 1: wants to, interview you have a loved one, with you
- 26:37Speaker 1: or a law enforcement person or, an, advocate okay because
- 26:41Speaker 1: you want to make sure that you don't disclose something
- 26:45Speaker 1: the police do not want you. To share one of
- 26:48Speaker 1: the reasons law enforcement keeps so much to the chest
- 26:52Speaker 1: is because. Family members it's there's so many emotions, Going
- 26:57Speaker 1: on you're not thinking as, you normally and you might
- 27:00Speaker 1: share information that they don't want you. To share so
- 27:04Speaker 1: you want to have somebody. With. You okay, another thing
- 27:08Speaker 1: don't forget to notify their workplace. Or, school, OKAY guys
- 27:13Speaker 1: i haven't thought, of THAT and i, was like, Oh
- 27:16Speaker 1: crap AND then i got TO thinking i wouldn't know
- 27:20Speaker 1: how to contact wh's boss if he. Went, MISSING luckily
- 27:24Speaker 1: i know some of the people he. WORKS with i
- 27:26Speaker 1: could reach out to Him on LinkedIn. Or facebook so
- 27:30Speaker 1: you want to notify workplace. Or. School okay it also
- 27:36Speaker 1: what Doing that maybe their employer or coworker, will, say
- 27:41Speaker 1: yes so and so was acting really strange yesterday she
- 27:44Speaker 1: mentioned somebody made her. Feel uncomfortable so you want to
- 27:49Speaker 1: do it so, they're aware but also because they might. Have.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Information okay also share any notable changes. With investigators don't. Discount.
- 28:01Speaker 1: It okay so if you know that your loved one
- 28:06Speaker 1: all of a sudden in the last couple, of weeks
- 28:07Speaker 1: does it seem to, be sleeping tells you they're only
- 28:10Speaker 1: sleeping a couple hours. At night they have a lot on.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Their mind share that with. The. Police okay don't overlook
- 28:20Speaker 1: reaching out to. Community, organizations okay you want to get
- 28:25Speaker 1: those resources or volunteer help to. Do searches Here, In
- 28:31Speaker 1: texas texas equa search is amazing now to. Use them
- 28:36Speaker 1: they do make you go through, law enforcement but there
- 28:38Speaker 1: are so many other organizations. That, don't also don't agree
- 28:46Speaker 1: to meet strangers alone if they claim they, Have, information
- 28:51Speaker 1: okay always involve. Law enforcement do not get a Message
- 28:56Speaker 1: on facebook and THEY say i, HAVE information i will meet.
- 28:59Speaker 1: You here do not go meet, you know. Someone alone
- 29:04Speaker 1: that doesn't mean just take another. Loved one you want
- 29:06Speaker 1: to take law enforcement or somebody, with. You, okay also don't, lose,
- 29:12Speaker 1: hope okay or stop advocating for your. Loved ones persistence,
- 29:17Speaker 1: is crucial and you want to keep the lines of
- 29:20Speaker 1: communication open with authorities and continue to spread. Spread awareness,
- 29:25Speaker 1: but guys it's also okay to hold law. Enforcement. Accountable,
- 29:31Speaker 1: okay now this NEXT one i thought was a. Little
- 29:35Speaker 1: interesting do not pay. A ransom So what i'm going
- 29:41Speaker 1: to say, on that do not pay a ransom without
- 29:45Speaker 1: law enforcement. Being INVOLVED so, i MEAN because i have to.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Tell you if somebody you know took my granddaughter and
- 29:53Speaker 1: THEY said i could get her back for twenty, Thousand
- 29:55Speaker 1: dollars i'd probably, do IT but i will call, the
- 29:58Speaker 1: police tell them and let them set. It up, Be
- 30:01Speaker 1: watching so don't try to do that on. Your, own
- 30:06Speaker 1: also this one is. Very critical don't withhold information due
- 30:11Speaker 1: to promise of secrecy or fear, of embarrassment even if
- 30:16Speaker 1: your loved one shared something with you in confidence and
- 30:20Speaker 1: made you promise to, never tell or if you're worried
- 30:25Speaker 1: about damaging. Their, reputation guys it's more important to find
- 30:30Speaker 1: them than. Their reputation so it's crucial to share all
- 30:34Speaker 1: relevant details with law enforcement because every piece of information
- 30:40Speaker 1: helps and it could be vital to. Finding, them okay
