- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice spell Hello, welcome to the naught even niceall.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob shoots are It's Tuesday, which means
- 0:19Speaker 1: our dear friend Delna Dixon joins us. How miss they
- 0:21Speaker 1: are you there? I am? How are you doing today?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Mr donn good, good, good, bright and early had a
- 0:27Speaker 1: little bit of us all throout yesterday. But I'm feeling
- 0:29Speaker 1: good right as rain today. I think that one hour
- 0:32Speaker 1: time difference messed me up. Miss b d Oh, it
- 0:35Speaker 1: does it does? It was two am and then it
- 0:38Speaker 1: was one, and I was so confused it was I
- 0:41Speaker 1: couldn't get over it with thankful let's jump in the show.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We've god so much gossip to get to. What time
- 0:46Speaker 1: is it? My friends? It is? It's time. This story
- 0:50Speaker 1: is evolving. Its big, It's massive. Kathy Griffin was kicks
- 0:54Speaker 1: off Twitter for impersonating Ellen Musk, so she has since
- 0:59Speaker 1: snugged back onto the platform by using her dead mother's account,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and she's calling the new owner Ellen and a whole
- 1:09Speaker 1: for suspending her. So she was suspended on Sunday because
- 1:14Speaker 1: she went against their policy of impersonating somebody. She changed
- 1:20Speaker 1: the name of her account to Ellen Musk without making
- 1:23Speaker 1: it clear that it was a parody. So you can
- 1:26Speaker 1: be other people on Twitter, but I think you have
- 1:29Speaker 1: to write in big letters parody. It's a joke account,
- 1:32Speaker 1: it's not really me. She didn't do that, so he
- 1:36Speaker 1: kicked her off, and he said to somebody that she
- 1:39Speaker 1: was suspended for impersonating a comedian, not for impersonating him funny.
- 1:46Speaker 1: She didn't find it funny, so she jumped onto her
- 1:49Speaker 1: mom's account, Remember her mom, Maggie. She's no longer with us,
- 1:52Speaker 1: but oh, she used to make me laugh so much
- 1:54Speaker 1: on that that show of hers on The Deals. So
- 1:57Speaker 1: she jumped onto Maggie's account and said that she did
- 2:01Speaker 1: not think he was very funny at all. She thought
- 2:04Speaker 1: he was an a whole we don't use that word
- 2:07Speaker 1: on the show, and she wants him to do better
- 2:10Speaker 1: at running Twitter. Since then, the hashtag free Kathy has
- 2:17Speaker 1: blown up Misty, So yes, it does sound like a
- 2:20Speaker 1: silly lot of nonsense. Kathy Griffin is always causing trouble,
- 2:23Speaker 1: which I sort of like about her. She makes me laugh,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but I understand she's not everybody's cup of tea. But
- 2:29Speaker 1: if Eli is going to stop banning people for making
- 2:33Speaker 1: fun of him, that doesn't feel good either. Yeah, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: think it's one of these things. I mean, we have
- 2:38Speaker 1: to accept it. Elon Musk is now the owner of Twitter.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And you know what, if you don't like a product
- 2:44Speaker 1: or a service or a destination, you know what you do.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You don't go there, you don't patron it. So Kathy Griffin,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I know she has a lot of followers on Twitter,
- 2:52Speaker 1: but there are a lot of other social media platforms,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and I think people leaving a certain platform makes a
- 2:58Speaker 1: big statement. Now I think I have a blue checkmark
- 3:02Speaker 1: on Twitter? Do I have to pay eight dollars now
- 3:04Speaker 1: to keep it? Is that monthly or yearly? I was
- 3:08Speaker 1: thinking about that because I think I have a little
- 3:09Speaker 1: blue tick too. We got us at the same time VH.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I remember they helped us get it when we were
- 3:13Speaker 1: on that morning show. So I would lose my blue check.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'm not paying eight dollars a month. What will you do?
- 3:18Speaker 1: Will you pay to keep yours? Oh? No, absolutely not.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'll just stop using the platform. It's not that I
- 3:23Speaker 1: don't have such an investment. And as as somebody as
- 3:26Speaker 1: Kathy Griffin word invested in it either, I haven't been
- 3:30Speaker 1: on it for a while. I post that poles each day,
- 3:32Speaker 1: and I love the feedback of that, but I'm not
- 3:34Speaker 1: that that invested in it. But it's gonna be interesting
- 3:38Speaker 1: to see what happens with Kathy here. I think what
- 3:41Speaker 1: my sources are telling me is that she has made
- 3:44Speaker 1: peace with the fact that she'll probably be kicked off,
- 3:46Speaker 1: so she's gonna go out in magnificent Kathy style. She's
- 3:51Speaker 1: gonna literally blow as much up as she can, I
- 3:54Speaker 1: guess on the way. But it brings us to our
- 3:56Speaker 1: pole question of the day. Kathy Griffin is using her
- 4:00Speaker 1: late mommy's accounts to evade the Twitter ban. Should she
- 4:05Speaker 1: just be allowed back? Should Cathy be allowed back? Pay
- 4:08Speaker 1: go votes on a Twitter page? But bum at naughty
- 4:12Speaker 1: nice rob with a blue check that I'm not paying
- 4:14Speaker 1: eight dollars four or a Facebook page which I don't
- 4:18Speaker 1: think has a blue check. That's fine To check back
- 4:22Speaker 1: tomorrow to hear your results. Hey mimster, what are you
- 4:25Speaker 1: working on them? Well? Jessica Simpson says she's feeling angry
- 4:29Speaker 1: and defensive over comments she received over her now viral
- 4:34Speaker 1: ad for pottery bond something that she did about her
- 4:36Speaker 1: daughter's room. So you can go check it out. So
- 4:38Speaker 1: she She posted a video of herself passionately singing along
- 4:41Speaker 1: to her song Party of One, with the emphasis I
- 4:45Speaker 1: don't give an f about you line. This is in
- 4:48Speaker 1: response to people. I needed to be in my studio
- 4:51Speaker 1: today because that's where I ground myself to heal, she
- 4:54Speaker 1: began in a very lengthy Instagram message. As much as
- 4:58Speaker 1: I have learned to block out the instructive noises, people's
- 5:01Speaker 1: comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with that incessant nagging. Obviously,
- 5:08Speaker 1: we start with Kathy and Ellen. They don't like it either,
- 5:11Speaker 1: And she said for anybody who was questioning her state
- 5:14Speaker 1: of mind, she's been five years sober. So she's just saying, look,
- 5:19Speaker 1: this is my life and if you don't like it,
- 5:21Speaker 1: you can step off. What do you think about this?
- 5:23Speaker 1: I love this, but I used to work with Jess,
- 5:24Speaker 1: so I miscalled this. I thought she would be in
- 5:26Speaker 1: on the joke. I thought she would enjoy it, but
- 5:28Speaker 1: clearly not. We have hit a nerve here and I
- 5:31Speaker 1: think it's the alcohol rooms. People think she was slurring.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You know, if you've been sober for five years, that
- 5:38Speaker 1: is something to celebrate. And I understand why she doesn't
- 5:41Speaker 1: want anybody to diminish that, and so she's making it clear.
- 5:44Speaker 1: If it looked like she was slurring on this video,
- 5:47Speaker 1: it wasn't because she had been drinking. She's been sober
- 5:50Speaker 1: now for for five years. It's amazing, isn't it. Even
- 5:54Speaker 1: with all her money, all her success, it does heart,
- 5:57Speaker 1: It does her strangers. These are people that she doesn't
- 6:01Speaker 1: even know, come at her. You forget that, don't know.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's so easy to post something mean, leave a mean comment,
- 6:08Speaker 1: people read it, people see it. I'm more careful now
- 6:11Speaker 1: about my post's misty. I wouldn't say it online if
- 6:16Speaker 1: I wouldn't say it to your face. That's my rule.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm going criticize a person, a celebrity, a friend, somebody
- 6:23Speaker 1: that I work with, somebody that I don't even know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: My rule is, if I won't say it to your face,
- 6:28Speaker 1: I can't say it from behind my keyboard. I think
- 6:32Speaker 1: the problem is that people post things. Why would you
- 6:35Speaker 1: think that a pottery barn ad would cause controversy? Right,
- 6:38Speaker 1: it's my daughter's beautiful bedroom. You know she has kids.
- 6:41Speaker 1: She might have been tired. It's hard to be a
- 6:44Speaker 1: mama out there. So I just say people, if you
- 6:48Speaker 1: have nothing nice to say, just like your grandmother taught you,
- 6:51Speaker 1: if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything
- 6:55Speaker 1: at all. Hey, moving along. Chris Pratt has endorsed billionaire
- 7:01Speaker 1: Rick Caruso for l A mayor. He said the city
- 7:04Speaker 1: is in utter disoray, so the midterm elections are here.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Go vote, Go vote, go vote. Chris took to Instagram
- 7:12Speaker 1: yesterday to say that he's stumping for Mr. Caruso, who's
- 7:16Speaker 1: a former president of the l A Police Commission. He said, quote,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I've lived in l A for over twenty years. It's
- 7:23Speaker 1: been great to me in that time. I've seen what
- 7:26Speaker 1: many residents have seen here and the city's gradual decline
- 7:30Speaker 1: into paying and utter disarray. He said. He normally doesn't
- 7:34Speaker 1: support political candidates, but in this election, there's too much
- 7:39Speaker 1: to lose. Now there's could go either way. Chris has
- 7:42Speaker 1: been criticized in the past for some of his conservative beliefs,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and he doesn't like that. He's also been criticized for
- 7:50Speaker 1: some of his religious beliefs. He doesn't like that either,
- 7:53Speaker 1: So I'm surprised that somebody who has not really enjoyed
- 7:58Speaker 1: us commenting about what he thinks. I'm surprised he's done
- 8:02Speaker 1: this what about you. Well, I think everybody's saying that
- 8:05Speaker 1: this is such a critical election season that everybody is
- 8:10Speaker 1: jumping in the fray. And we know that celebrities do
- 8:13Speaker 1: have a lot of power when it comes to politics,
- 8:15Speaker 1: just by making it a a mention. So I don't know
- 8:18Speaker 1: much about what's going on in l A because we're
- 8:20Speaker 1: here in New York. But the only thing that that
- 8:22Speaker 1: makes me pause is that you're promoting your your millionaire friends.
- 8:26Speaker 1: So that might give people pause. But you know what
- 8:30Speaker 1: I say, whoever is running, do your own homework. Find
- 8:33Speaker 1: out what their platforms are, find out what they stand for,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and make sure it aligns with your views, not just
- 8:39Speaker 1: your favorite celebrity endorsing, right, right, right, Yeah, we don't
- 8:42Speaker 1: talk about politics on this show, but obviously it is
- 8:45Speaker 1: a big election today. Don't worry, we're not going to
- 8:47Speaker 1: get into it. But I think of politics like a
- 8:49Speaker 1: buzz i. Get other bus that's going to take me
- 8:52Speaker 1: to the closest to where I want to go. It's
- 8:55Speaker 1: not an uber, it's not a taxi won't take me
- 8:57Speaker 1: door to door. I get on the bus that takes
- 9:00Speaker 1: me to the closest place that I want to be,
- 9:03Speaker 1: So use politicians like that too. Before you look at politicians,
- 9:07Speaker 1: my advice is decide what you want when you think
- 9:10Speaker 1: about the issues, and then find somebody who's going to
- 9:14Speaker 1: reflect those beliefs. Okay, I probably no more politics. What's
- 9:18Speaker 1: going on with Nick Carter? I believe he broke down
- 9:22Speaker 1: and during his show in London, mystery he did. Obviously
- 9:25Speaker 1: he just lost his brother, which can be extremely emotional,
- 9:29Speaker 1: so that there was a touching tribute to Aaron at
- 9:32Speaker 1: the Backstreet Boys concert one day after Aaron's death. So
- 9:36Speaker 1: the band played no place during a Sunday show in
- 9:40Speaker 1: London as photos of Nick and his brother were on
- 9:43Speaker 1: the screen. Now, the forty two year old Nick was
- 9:46Speaker 1: visibly emotional. He was sobbing as his his cohorts, his
- 9:51Speaker 1: bandmates A. J. McLean, Brian Littrelle and Howie de Row
- 9:55Speaker 1: hugged him. Kevin Richardson actually became a spokesperson and said, tonight,
- 10:01Speaker 1: we've got heavy hearts because we lost one of our
- 10:05Speaker 1: family members yesterday and we just wanted to find a
- 10:09Speaker 1: moment in our show to recognize him. Next little brother,
- 10:12Speaker 1: Aaron Carter passed away and he was a part of
- 10:16Speaker 1: our family, So you know, rest in peace. Aaron is
- 10:20Speaker 1: so sad to hear about. Yes, yeah, this story is
- 10:23Speaker 1: far from over. TMC and now reporting that the police
- 10:26Speaker 1: found cans of compressed air and the death scene, so
- 10:30Speaker 1: we know that Aaron has struggled with for years with
- 10:35Speaker 1: substance abuse. Now this has been found at the scene
- 10:38Speaker 1: and we're going to find out soon from his autopsy
- 10:42Speaker 1: results what he actually died off. But just such a sad, tragic,
- 10:48Speaker 1: tragic story here. I'm not sure if I would have
- 10:52Speaker 1: gone ahead with the concert in London. I'm not telling
- 10:56Speaker 1: people had to grieve here, I'm really not I'm just
- 10:58Speaker 1: saying from my point of you, had my brother, god
- 11:01Speaker 1: forbid passed away, I'm not sure I could have performed
- 11:04Speaker 1: that night. Where are you mis doing? It's it's very challenging.
- 11:08Speaker 1: But but I will tell a personal story that um
- 11:11Speaker 1: my cousin passed away while we were doing Gossip Table,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and it was we found out on on Friday, the
- 11:18Speaker 1: day that we had off during the show, and I
- 11:21Speaker 1: was back on Monday because that was my obligation and
- 11:25Speaker 1: that's where I was supposed to be. It was a
- 11:26Speaker 1: live show and I think that's probably where Nick was
- 11:29Speaker 1: coming from. People paid good money to see this concert.
- 11:32Speaker 1: You are a performer and things are going to happen,
- 11:35Speaker 1: and that's part of the world. But I was extremely emotional.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I I remember you coming over and saying I'm so
- 11:42Speaker 1: sorry and giving me a hug and rallying around me.
- 11:44Speaker 1: So I thank you for that. Um, but I think
- 11:47Speaker 1: sometimes the show must go on. And and as we see,
- 11:50Speaker 1: he broke down on stage. So it was hard. Wow, hey, quickly,
- 11:54Speaker 1: before we get a break, let's talk about Share. She's
- 11:55Speaker 1: break a silence. It looks like she's confirmed that she
- 12:00Speaker 1: is dating Alexander A. E. Edwards. So they were spotted together.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He's a music producer, and so she outed the blue
- 12:10Speaker 1: just typed Alexander and she put a little red heart
- 12:14Speaker 1: emoji next two wids. So is this a cryptic answer?
- 12:19Speaker 1: She was participating in a Q and A on a
- 12:22Speaker 1: social media platform and somebody asked her about her new man,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and Share slightly replied with a smiley face with a
- 12:32Speaker 1: heart emoji. So good for you. Another fact tweeted saying,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I hope you are enjoying this and you deserve you
- 12:41Speaker 1: deserve to be happy. Share also she liked that. So
- 12:45Speaker 1: she is seventy eight years old. I love you. Share
- 12:50Speaker 1: Edwards is thirty sixious old and the haters are gonna
- 12:54Speaker 1: hate and those that are not are not now. He
- 12:58Speaker 1: has previously dated and the Rose and they share a
- 13:01Speaker 1: three year old son together. She's dated Sonny Bono. She's
- 13:06Speaker 1: married to him, wasn't Her Famous exs include Warren Beatty,
- 13:10Speaker 1: Richie Sambora, Bell Kilma and remember Tom Cruise when Share
- 13:16Speaker 1: dated Tom Cruise. I want to Share to be happy man. Yes,
- 13:19Speaker 1: forty years that's a massive age gap. But we're also
- 13:22Speaker 1: talking about Share who doesn't play by maybe the same
- 13:27Speaker 1: rules that we play by, So maybe this is all great.
- 13:31Speaker 1: What do you think? Um? Well, I guess there's no
- 13:34Speaker 1: age limit on a boy toy. I mean I have
- 13:37Speaker 1: my age limit. But Share, go on with your bad self.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I mean, why not have some fun. If he's entertaining
- 13:43Speaker 1: and he's charming, he makes you feel young and youthful,
- 13:46Speaker 1: go for it. But again, he is a producer and
- 13:50Speaker 1: she is a singer, so this could be a relationship
- 13:54Speaker 1: that's more business than it is personal. But girl, blur
- 13:57Speaker 1: those lines however you want. I say, have a good
- 14:01Speaker 1: al time. I love it, I love it, I love it.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Make sure you have the coconut water on hand, then
- 14:07Speaker 1: we will be ride back, come back to the naughty.
- 14:13Speaker 1: But I'm still giggling this. Hey, let's get to our poles.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Yesterday we talked about Nick Carter morning the tragic death
- 14:26Speaker 1: of his brother Aaron Carter. Were you surprised by the passenger?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Let's have a look here, said Noah. In fact, some
- 14:34Speaker 1: of you even said that this is obvious that the
- 14:38Speaker 1: story was going to end like this. I know we
- 14:40Speaker 1: all hoped for a different ending here, but being troubled
- 14:43Speaker 1: for so long, I'm just hoping, mister, that he finally
- 14:46Speaker 1: found some piece. Don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Go to our Twitter page and Naughty Nice rab around
- 14:55Speaker 1: Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to
- 14:59Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 15:04Speaker 1: time for our day. Well, our nicest of the day
- 15:11Speaker 1: is actually Hilary Duff who used to date Aaron Carter,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and she left a very touching message, um kind of
- 15:18Speaker 1: in remembrance of him. So she basically took to social
- 15:22Speaker 1: media after his passing and said that you know, they
- 15:25Speaker 1: used to date, and she said, I'm deeply sorry that
- 15:29Speaker 1: life was so hard for you, and that you had
- 15:32Speaker 1: to struggle in front of the whole world. You had
- 15:36Speaker 1: a charm that was absolutely effervescent. Boy, did my teenage
- 15:41Speaker 1: self love you deeply? And she said. She ended her
- 15:46Speaker 1: note by saying she was sending love to his family
- 15:49Speaker 1: and rest easy, just like you said. We hope that
- 15:53Speaker 1: he's finally at peace. Absolutely, that's what the hope is
- 15:58Speaker 1: here and really touching note from Hillary Duff. Remember when
- 16:02Speaker 1: those two were so young, they were its couple, these
- 16:06Speaker 1: two young teenagers before just in Biber it was a
- 16:11Speaker 1: Saron Carter, what a troubled life. I had interviewed him
- 16:15Speaker 1: several times mystery over the years, and I always finished
- 16:19Speaker 1: the interview feeling really sad, like when he left the building,
- 16:24Speaker 1: it was no great joy. And I think he's been
- 16:26Speaker 1: the butt or was the butt of many many jokes unfairly.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So I'm glad to say I wasn't one of those people.
- 16:33Speaker 1: But I'm just hoping here, like like like Hillary Duff,
- 16:36Speaker 1: that he finally can rest easy. Hey, let's do and
- 16:43Speaker 1: naughty as the day, nor naughty naughty. Selena Gomez is
- 16:47Speaker 1: responding to criticism from an alleged snub so after Francaia
- 16:53Speaker 1: allegedly commented on a quote from Selena Gomez regarding their friendship.
- 16:59Speaker 1: The sing has responded online, let me explain. Let's go
- 17:02Speaker 1: back to the beginning here. So Selena Gomez did an
- 17:04Speaker 1: interview with Rolling Stone magazine and she was asked about
- 17:08Speaker 1: her friendships in the business, and she said, I'm actually
- 17:10Speaker 1: quite an outsider. I don't have many friends in the business.
- 17:13Speaker 1: In fact, the only friend I have in the business
- 17:15Speaker 1: is Taylor Swift. Now her friend that gave her the
- 17:18Speaker 1: kidney saw that and wrote interesting and as since deleted comments.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Now Selena has responded saying, quote, sorry, I didn't mention
- 17:29Speaker 1: every person I know. My sources are telling me that
- 17:33Speaker 1: because it was Rolling Stone. When she said the industry,
- 17:36Speaker 1: she meant the music business. And her friend is an actress.
- 17:40Speaker 1: She's not a musician. So are they as close as
- 17:43Speaker 1: they used to be? No, but they're still friends. But
- 17:47Speaker 1: it was a slip of the tongue. If you're doing
- 17:48Speaker 1: an interview for Rolling Stone and they ask you about
- 17:51Speaker 1: the business, the business that you think they are referring
- 17:54Speaker 1: to is the music business, movies, or the entertainment bus
- 18:00Speaker 1: this at large, so it sounds a little complicated, but
- 18:02Speaker 1: I can buy that explanation. Now I should point out
- 18:05Speaker 1: the person my source that told me that he's very
- 18:08Speaker 1: very close to Selena, so they obviously want to paint
- 18:11Speaker 1: her in a good life. But there's some logic to that,
- 18:14Speaker 1: do you think, Mr? Yeah, I mean her friend to
- 18:19Speaker 1: use social media, and this is why this platform can
- 18:21Speaker 1: be so challenging at times. If you were upset, call
- 18:25Speaker 1: your friend. I mean, I never want my friends to
- 18:28Speaker 1: text me when they're upset, I say, call me. I
- 18:31Speaker 1: need to hear your voice. I need inflection. And Selena
- 18:34Speaker 1: could have been like, oh my god, girl, I thought
- 18:36Speaker 1: they meant the music industry, So just to put it
- 18:39Speaker 1: on social media seems kind of crass. And why are
- 18:43Speaker 1: you putting your why are you putting a business out there?
- 18:45Speaker 1: Like that makes you think that there is a problem
- 18:47Speaker 1: between the two of them. Absolutely, Hey, let's end with
- 18:50Speaker 1: a moment of rob this quote from Charles Stickens. Of
- 18:54Speaker 1: all people, he said the following quote, no one is
