- 0:33Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess we got to watch the
- 0:35Speaker 2: same clips.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We've got to talk about Mary being the favorite ex wife.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Nobody here.
- 0:40Speaker 2: I literally don't care.
- 0:41Speaker 1: We already thought it. I'm getting ahead of myself. Let
- 0:45Speaker 1: me start by saying that we have to issue you
- 0:47Speaker 1: a disclaimer. Please hide your wife and hide your kids.

- 2:00Speaker 1: we take our journey up the mountain to six thousands
- 2:06Speaker 1: and subscribers, we're long ways away. I think we're at
- 2:09Speaker 1: the first base camp.
- 2:10Speaker 2: We're at five point two five.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We're acclimating China. Get us to the elevation like we are.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That's our goal is to be all the way up
- 2:17Speaker 1: there the six k.
- 2:19Speaker 2: So what do you think you can do?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Truly helps? Thank you in Bingos. All right, your takeaway,
- 2:25Speaker 1: you watched it, I assume you were conscious for the
- 2:29Speaker 1: whole thing I was, you didn't like rage, quit your
- 2:32Speaker 1: consciousness and end up teleporting to another dimension to get
- 2:36Speaker 1: away from Cody Brown. So what are your thoughts?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Well, I'm loving Christine and Janelle kind of calling out
- 2:42Speaker 2: Cody a bit. That's really great. I want more of that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And I thought Robin in particular looked really mad. I
- 2:50Speaker 2: feel like she's hiding her anger in that tense Joe.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it is so tight.
- 2:55Speaker 2: She can't even watch the clips because she's so pissed off. Yeah,
- 2:59Speaker 2: and I'm kind of living for it really, Yeah, I'm like,
- 3:02Speaker 2: stay mad, Yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Cry harder. Yeah, I really noticed that. I'm like, what
- 3:08Speaker 1: are you bringing to the table, Robin, Like, why are
- 3:11Speaker 1: we employing you to entertain to us?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:13Speaker 1: If this is all you're doing is sitting there with
- 3:16Speaker 1: your nasty ass expression in your eyelashes and a very
- 3:22Speaker 1: resistant to answer questions, as if it's below you to
- 3:27Speaker 1: even be there, So then why are we paying? Why
- 3:29Speaker 1: do you got this two point one million dollar manch
- 3:32Speaker 1: and off of our raccoon back?
- 3:33Speaker 2: For real?
- 3:34Speaker 1: And you be mad?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah I noticed that as well. Yeah. My takeaway was
- 3:39Speaker 1: that I kind of like sue Kanya really suky Yes,
- 3:44Speaker 1: I saw a little bit of fire from her. She
- 3:47Speaker 1: was definitely pushing back against Cody Brown.
- 3:51Speaker 2: God.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah, the finale stare off was very awkward. That was
- 3:56Speaker 1: so crazy and super pathological, malignant narcissis performances, Yeah, which
- 4:02Speaker 1: I loved. And she sat there in the silence, she
- 4:05Speaker 1: didn't squirm. I I'm kind of writing for Fukie.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah, calling him a baby yeah yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah. Another thing I saw as I was wandering the
- 4:15Speaker 1: internets was that people were kind of coming for Christine
- 4:18Speaker 1: quite a bit, why, saying that she seems to be
- 4:21Speaker 1: still fixated on Cody and like David is sitting there
- 4:25Speaker 1: right next to her, and still she's going on and
- 4:28Speaker 1: on and on about how terrible Cody is. And I'm like,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I'm loving this version of Christine.
- 4:33Speaker 2: This is literally her life and she's just talking about
- 4:37Speaker 2: it with her new man right there supporting her. Like
- 4:39Speaker 2: I don't I don't understand that criticism. Like Mary made
- 4:42Speaker 2: that comment too in this being like why do you
- 4:44Speaker 2: talk about Cody with David? Why do you talk about
- 4:48Speaker 2: him so much? Like because she was married to him
- 4:50Speaker 2: for twenty six years and she's on a show that's
- 4:52Speaker 2: got nineteen seasons and she's commenting on it, like, why
- 4:56Speaker 2: would it feel like that's kind of normal?
- 4:57Speaker 1: And don't you want her to be real?
- 5:00Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:00Speaker 1: The more that she better, says like, the better that
- 5:03Speaker 1: it is. Keeping in mind, of course, that this tell
- 5:06Speaker 1: nothing is being filled. Filmed approximately two weeks after she
- 5:11Speaker 1: filed suit, right, and so later in this episode, when
- 5:14Speaker 1: they're talking about going on double dates and Cody's like, well,
- 5:17Speaker 1: we're not healed yet, what he really means is there
- 5:20Speaker 1: is a pending lawsuit and there's no damn way I'm
- 5:23Speaker 1: gonna sit down at a table with that woman because
- 5:25Speaker 1: I hate her.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I think that's why he did the stare down.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yep, And I love her, and I think we're seeing
- 5:30Speaker 1: kind of this unbridled Christine. She's a bit more brave
- 5:35Speaker 1: with some of her commentary, and I just want so
- 5:38Speaker 1: much more of that. She's releasing her book this fall,
- 5:42Speaker 1: which I still have not pre ordered Why It's Your
- 5:45Speaker 1: cho But like, I hope she's bringing some of that
- 5:50Speaker 1: to the book.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I hope so too.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It'd be so fun.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I hope so too. I don't want any more cryptic crap,
- 5:56Speaker 2: like just lay it on the table, say how you
- 5:59Speaker 2: really feel.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I want it with Janelle, for example, like why are
- 6:04Speaker 1: you being so careful? Like why did it take you
- 6:08Speaker 1: twenty hours to get to the sentence where you say
- 6:11Speaker 1: I just don't like them. We don't need to hear
- 6:14Speaker 1: all the equivocating, like I'm sure I have no problem
- 6:18Speaker 1: with Cody and it's not that I can't be in
- 6:19Speaker 1: the same No tell us that you hate them, I know.
- 6:23Speaker 2: And then she says I don't like them, and then
- 6:25Speaker 2: Suki's like why and she's like.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I don't know, I just don't like them, Like I mean,
- 6:29Speaker 1: just expect why do you say, Suki?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:32Speaker 1: But also Suki, some of her questions were so dumb.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I know. I'm so I have a love hate relationship
- 6:39Speaker 2: with Suki because she's a terrible interviewer. She's good at
- 6:43Speaker 2: the same time, she's getting better with Cody. I just
- 6:46Speaker 2: I don't know some of the questions she asked.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm just like, really, you can just feel her though,
- 6:50Speaker 1: like trying to find trying a space where she can
- 6:53Speaker 1: insert a question and follow up. Yeah, Like, just dealing
- 6:56Speaker 1: with all of these people has got to be a nightmare.
- 6:59Speaker 1: She's doing pretty yeah, Okay, So those are my thoughts,
- 7:02Speaker 1: all right, those are your thoughts. Yes, let's get into
- 7:05Speaker 1: this episode. Season nineteen, episode twenty seven. This is my
- 7:12Speaker 1: other takeaway. I'm so fucking tired of this show, right,
- 7:15Speaker 1: this is like one of my favorite shows. I know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: we go crazy, have so much fun talking about it,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but like, I need a break.
- 7:22Speaker 2: There's a reason breaks exist. But we've had a freaking
- 7:25Speaker 2: hiatus in the mid season and these four tell alls
- 7:28Speaker 2: and then allegedly we're gonna have season twenty in like
- 7:31Speaker 2: two months.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I know, crackers. So we are in episode twenty seven
- 7:37Speaker 1: entitled one on one, Part two, Part two, take it Away, Beatrice.
- 7:41Speaker 2: When we start off kind of wrapping up the conversation
- 7:43Speaker 2: about what a big giant failure code is from their faith,
- 7:48Speaker 2: which I do love. We have Christine saying, you know,
- 7:52Speaker 2: by polygamous standards, like if a man loses three of
- 7:56Speaker 2: his wives and they all leave, it's a problem with
- 7:58Speaker 2: the man, not the women every time, every single time.
- 8:02Speaker 2: And so I do love that little jeb to Cody
- 8:05Speaker 2: because it is the truth. It's like, it's not just
- 8:08Speaker 2: these women. If it was one woman leaving and the
- 8:10Speaker 2: rest stayed, okay, maybe it's that woman maybe, but if it's.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Three of them out of four before, Yeah, you don't
- 8:17Speaker 1: have a good drug record, and if all of their
- 8:20Speaker 1: children have a problematic relationship with you, that is also
- 8:24Speaker 1: an indication that you're the problem Cody.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Brown exactly, But he can never admit to that because
- 8:29Speaker 2: he can't look in the mirror and just be humbled.
- 8:32Speaker 2: And then we have another conversation about Janelle thinking that
- 8:36Speaker 2: Cody is playing the devil to run interference for Robin.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Right, like, intentionally villainizing himself to take the heat off
- 8:46Speaker 1: of Robin. And I think she's probably right. I think
- 8:51Speaker 1: so too, And I think the best that he can
- 8:53Speaker 1: do is this cartoonish caricature of what a devil would be.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And I think that there's nothing that he can do.
- 9:02Speaker 1: There's no amount of villainy that he could show us
- 9:05Speaker 1: that we'll take my attention away from Robin. Oh for sure,
- 9:09Speaker 1: because sitting there cold on the couch interview after interview segment,
- 9:14Speaker 1: she is just an evil woman in my opinion.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she does not like the other women or
- 9:21Speaker 2: Suki or Suki or production. No, she only cares about
- 9:24Speaker 2: Cody and herself and those tight curls that she's styling
- 9:29Speaker 2: in her hair. But yeah, I mean, like I can
- 9:31Speaker 2: see Cody playing this caricature of a devil to defend
- 9:36Speaker 2: Robin and to protect Robin because he does love her
- 9:39Speaker 2: and she is his soulmate, and like that is a
- 9:42Speaker 2: natural human thing to do, Like you want to protect
- 9:45Speaker 2: your spouse if you care about them, right, But I
- 9:47Speaker 2: think Cody is also just evil, Like I think he's
- 9:51Speaker 2: a terrible person and he's bitter and he's a narcissist.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So there's like two things going on here, Like it's
- 9:56Speaker 2: it is his ego, but he is trying to defend
- 10:00Speaker 2: Robin in his weird way, because Robin can do no wrong.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And we've seen that theme over the last simple seasons
- 10:07Speaker 2: for sure.
- 10:07Speaker 1: That's why we say that she's the sacred cow. She's
- 10:11Speaker 1: the untouchable person in the family exactly, and that is
- 10:16Speaker 1: how he's he's treating her. But I just felt like
- 10:20Speaker 1: him being called out for that, like that was pretty juicy.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's Janelle kind of getting close to the soft parts
- 10:28Speaker 1: with him. And I just always watch these thinking to myself,
- 10:32Speaker 1: what is Cody going to think when he watches it back.
- 10:34Speaker 1: When they start this episode calling him a failure, I know,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and then they end this episode with him looking like
- 10:39Speaker 1: an absolute toddler with the stare off with Suki like
- 10:43Speaker 1: it's just.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So good, it is really good. Yes, what did you
- 10:47Speaker 2: think about Cody like addressing the camera in the scene
- 10:50Speaker 2: with his fake accountability to the og wives being like, no,
- 10:54Speaker 2: it's my fault too, I did stuff bad too.
- 10:57Speaker 1: He was being a baby, which Suki called him appropriate.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I thought that it was not accountability, No, not at all.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Suki follows it up by saying, well, that's you being accountable. No,
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's not, because what brings him to even say it
- 11:10Speaker 1: in the first place is like, well, what do you
- 11:11Speaker 1: want me to say that? I have ownership in this too? Okay, fine,
- 11:14Speaker 1: I have ownership in this too. I was a part
- 11:16Speaker 1: of it too. Are you happy? Yeah, Suki, that's not
- 11:20Speaker 1: accountability all. That's somebody having a temper tantrum. That's petulance.
- 11:24Speaker 1: That's baby shit.
- 11:25Speaker 2: And that's why I don't really like her because she
- 11:27Speaker 2: gives into that and it's like, oh, that's accountability, good job, Cody,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and it's like it's not, though, it's really fake and stupid.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And then Cody follows it up with saying, well, I
- 11:36Speaker 2: would love to have it back.
- 11:37Speaker 1: What does that mean? What did he mean by that
- 11:39Speaker 1: he would love to have the accountability back.
- 11:42Speaker 2: He would love to have the other women take accountability
- 11:44Speaker 2: for being terrible.
- 11:46Speaker 1: God, yeah, that's right over my head. I'm like, what
- 11:49Speaker 1: are you even saying?
- 11:50Speaker 2: He wants the other women to be like, you know what,
- 11:52Speaker 2: Cody's sorry, I was the worst sister wife ever. I
- 11:55Speaker 2: couldn't be like Robert. I'm sorry, fault.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that was wild, but I do think Suki in
- 12:01Speaker 1: that moment, was trying to finesse the conversation. And with
- 12:05Speaker 1: a narc like Cody, you have to give them something,
- 12:07Speaker 1: You have to feed the ego. It's in order to
- 12:10Speaker 1: get something right from him that's honest and true, and
- 12:12Speaker 1: he's going to do it so begrudgingly, And that's what
- 12:15Speaker 1: that was. That was true him begrudgingly looking at his
- 12:18Speaker 1: wives and taking ownership. But he wasn't doing that at all.
- 12:20Speaker 2: No, not at all. And then we have Janelle saying
- 12:24Speaker 2: for like taking forever to say that she doesn't like
- 12:27Speaker 2: Cody and Robin, but she would never really want to
- 12:29Speaker 2: hang out with them. She's like, I think she says,
- 12:31Speaker 2: I don't even want to know them, yeah, which I'm
- 12:34Speaker 2: just like, so.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Nice, I don't need it, I don't want it. I
- 12:37Speaker 1: don't like them. And of course the subtext here is
- 12:41Speaker 1: the fact that she lost her son. Yet like the
- 12:45Speaker 1: things that are going unsaid, I think are much more
- 12:48Speaker 1: compelling than the things that are being said. And so
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm wondering about that rage that Janelle must have, oh,
- 12:55Speaker 1: knowing about the relationship that her son Garrison had with Cody,
- 12:58Speaker 1: which was a non relationship, knowing that Garrison was the
- 13:02Speaker 1: kid along with Gabe, or it might have just been
- 13:04Speaker 1: Garrison who called Robin and confronted her about how she
- 13:08Speaker 1: was an agent of wicked disruption and destruction in this family,
- 13:14Speaker 1: like he was the one who did that, and then
- 13:16Speaker 1: shortly thereafter, like he took his own life. And so
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's living inside of Janelle, and I wish we could
- 13:23Speaker 1: get more of that articulated, not necessarily specific to Garrison,
- 13:26Speaker 1: but like, give me more of what you're actually feeling.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Like right when you say, like I have no problem
- 13:31Speaker 1: hanging out with Cody, what do you mean to love?
- 13:33Speaker 1: I have any problem hanging out with the man who
- 13:36Speaker 1: isolated you and the man who favored another woman, and
- 13:39Speaker 1: a man who treated your kids like crap? What do
- 13:41Speaker 1: you mean I'd be okay to be in the same
- 13:43Speaker 1: room with him.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm really tired of like just kind of tiptoeing
- 13:47Speaker 2: around the actual truth, like we can be honest. Like
- 13:52Speaker 2: I think they think that it would be mean to
- 13:54Speaker 2: say that they just hate Robin and Cody and other
- 13:57Speaker 2: evil demons. I mean, I guess, but it's also the truth,
- 14:01Speaker 2: like just say how you feel.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I actually was wondering about that. I was wondering whether
- 14:06Speaker 1: Mary and Janelle and Christine to some extent, are being
- 14:10Speaker 1: this careful because maybe the show is tied to Cody
- 14:14Speaker 1: and Robin, and like they think, like in the back
- 14:17Speaker 1: of their mind, well, if I if I just come
- 14:19Speaker 1: right out and say all the terrible things I want
- 14:21Speaker 1: to say about these people, maybe they'd walk away from
- 14:23Speaker 1: the show, or maybe this show would end, And so
- 14:26Speaker 1: I kind of have to ride the lightning and just
- 14:29Speaker 1: imply how I feel.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Like. I hate that, though, but I'm like, I feel
- 14:32Speaker 2: like everybody in the world wants Cody and Robin to
- 14:35Speaker 2: be off the show. Hire them, and everyone in the
- 14:37Speaker 2: world would watch Mary and Janelle and Christine live their lives.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I mean, it might be.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Boring even if it sucked. I would watch it just
- 14:44Speaker 1: support it, and because they were off my television and
- 14:47Speaker 1: Robin exactly.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So I just I don't know. Maybe they're also just
- 14:51Speaker 2: trying to be the bigger people, trying to be good
- 14:53Speaker 2: people and not talk shit about Cody and Robin, because
- 14:56Speaker 2: Cody and Robin have been talking mad shit about them.
- 14:58Speaker 2: But I'm just like, just stoop down a little bit, Yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 2: just be honest.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Get to the real stuff a little bit.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, divine rage. And then we have clips of Mary's
- 15:10Speaker 2: moving day.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Oh my god, I had to watch that again.
- 15:14Speaker 2: With Nate, with the awkward Mary back in that caboose
- 15:20Speaker 2: up to Cody.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And the tittering and the laughing. You have to laugh
- 15:25Speaker 1: about it in the middle school. Oh t he Oh
- 15:28Speaker 1: it was sexual, but we didn't mean it that way.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But it does make me remember that. I'm like, oh god, courage.
- 15:36Speaker 2: The thing I loved about this though, was watching Robin
- 15:39Speaker 2: watch that clip because she couldn't even really watch it,
- 15:43Speaker 2: and she looked really mad. I feel like Robin, I
- 15:46Speaker 2: don't know, my fake psychic intuition. I feel like Robin
- 15:50Speaker 2: was super mad.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That really happened. Yeah, Well, because obviously when Suki questions
- 15:55Speaker 1: her about it, she's just like, no, this is the
- 15:57Speaker 1: Mary and the Cody that I remember, Like they play
- 16:00Speaker 1: full and they're laughing, and that's why I was telling them, like,
- 16:03Speaker 1: are you sure you guys want to throw it all away?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Because this is who you are. Like, so she was
- 16:07Speaker 1: acting like she wasn't bothered by it. She also said
- 16:10Speaker 1: something like, well, I wasn't really thinking about it in
- 16:13Speaker 1: those terms at the time. Well, but yes you were.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yes, you definitely you absolutely were. You definitely were well
- 16:19Speaker 2: and especially like when you have the clips of Cody
- 16:22Speaker 2: back then and now in the tell all being like no, no, no,
- 16:25Speaker 2: but like what I have with Robin is divine and
- 16:27Speaker 2: sacred and my body is hers, and like I love
- 16:30Speaker 2: her and I don't want to ruin that. I don't
- 16:32Speaker 2: want to break that covenant.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Like is that because she puts her brass knuckles one
- 16:36Speaker 1: walks in the door.
- 16:37Speaker 2: She's just like, yeah, yeah, I think she's jealous. I
- 16:40Speaker 2: think I think Robin has always been. I think that's
- 16:43Speaker 2: why Cody cut off intimacy with all the other OG wives.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I think, like you know, part of it was Cody too,
- 16:49Speaker 2: Like part Cody probably was like I cannot do this anymore,
- 16:53Speaker 2: right not bang these women anymore. But I feel like
- 16:56Speaker 2: Robin also had a hand in it of like, but
- 16:59Speaker 2: what we have is to fine. I know, on's special,
- 17:01Speaker 2: and like it hurts my feelings when you have sex
- 17:03Speaker 2: with Christine, It hurts my feelings when you bump up
- 17:06Speaker 2: against Mary and that big old booty, because I don't
- 17:09Speaker 2: got a big old but you know, like I feel
- 17:10Speaker 2: like Robin says these things. Yeah, that's just my thought, though.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't be a bit surprised. I mean I think
- 17:16Speaker 1: she was the manipulator all along, Yeah, and Cody kind
- 17:19Speaker 1: of just fell into whatever it is that she wanted
- 17:21Speaker 1: to do, yeah, and what she was orchestrating. I just
- 17:24Speaker 1: felt like this was an entirely strange segment. But what
- 17:26Speaker 1: I loved was when we cut to Christine, Yeah, because
- 17:30Speaker 1: it was in this part of this episode that Christine
- 17:33Speaker 1: really kind of unleashes on Cody and she's just like,
- 17:35Speaker 1: what are you doing? And they're showing or is it this?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We ultimately get to the long trip to Prawan and
- 17:42Speaker 1: Cody saying goodbye and sobbing, and this is where Christine
- 17:46Speaker 1: calls him out for being manipulative and she's like, this
- 17:49Speaker 1: is the kind of stuff he would do is just
- 17:52Speaker 1: yank her along and hot and cold, and this is
- 17:55Speaker 1: why Mary was always so confused, and he should hold
- 17:59Speaker 1: a mirror to himself. Also, with Cody saying that I
- 18:03Speaker 1: want to be the one to walk Mary down the aisle,
- 18:06Speaker 1: we've got Christine saying like that is a position of honor,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and the subtextas you do not deserve that or anything else.
- 18:13Speaker 1: And furthermore, you're calling it an end of an era,
- 18:15Speaker 1: but it's an end of an era. It is an
- 18:17Speaker 1: end of a family that you brought about. Yep, you're
- 18:20Speaker 1: blaming everybody else, but it's you that has done all
- 18:22Speaker 1: this and now you want to cry.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I loved that. Yeah, I love that she was calling
- 18:27Speaker 2: that out because it brings a different perspective because I
- 18:29Speaker 2: think when we talked about that episode, we kind of
- 18:32Speaker 2: gave Cody a little bit of grace and we're like, oh, well,
- 18:34Speaker 2: like maybe he is genuinely sad, Like a part of
- 18:36Speaker 2: him is sad that he lost all of this, and
- 18:39Speaker 2: maybe that's true. But at the same time, like Cody
- 18:42Speaker 2: being a narcissist is totally weaponizing his tears there and
- 18:46Speaker 2: trying to like manipulate Mary, who quite honestly is really
- 18:51Speaker 2: easily manipulated by Cody, And like even Mary talks about
- 18:55Speaker 2: this section and says that she was super confused and
- 18:58Speaker 2: super weirded out by Cody's emotional reaction to this, and
- 19:03Speaker 2: then talks about a time where they had lunch recently.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Like two weeks previous to the filming of this Tell.
- 19:09Speaker 2: All, and he said, like, I'm still grieving the loss
- 19:12Speaker 2: of our marriage, and Mary's just like, you don't get
- 19:14Speaker 2: to tell me that, Like, you don't get to tell
- 19:16Speaker 2: me that kind of stuff anymore, Like we are done.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Don't burden me with that. That is your own shit.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Yeah, do you not believe it?
- 19:24Speaker 2: No?
- 19:24Speaker 1: I do, I absolutely do. But I think that Cody
- 19:28Speaker 1: was not actually grieving the loss of his marriage to
- 19:31Speaker 1: Mary in the conversation two weeks before they filmed this.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I think he is manipulating in that moment
- 19:36Speaker 1: so that when they get to the tell all, Mary
- 19:39Speaker 1: is not going to tell all the truths that he
- 19:42Speaker 1: knows that she can tell. He knows Christine's showing up
- 19:44Speaker 1: because Christine just sued him, he knows that Janelle has
- 19:47Speaker 1: no love for him. He's hoping he can have an
- 19:50Speaker 1: ally and Mary which is why we see him continually
- 19:53Speaker 1: call her a friend. You know, we're friends.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Now.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I don't want to go over that because he's hoping
- 19:58Speaker 1: she's not going to talk shit about so he's trying
- 20:00Speaker 1: to call ahead of time, which is something Kyle Richards
- 20:03Speaker 1: does on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Like she'll send
- 20:05Speaker 1: these mass texts to different people to form alliances for
- 20:09Speaker 1: the reunion so that he's not dragged too much. That's
- 20:12Speaker 1: why he did that.
- 20:13Speaker 2: That actually makes so much sense, because I kept feeling like,
- 20:16Speaker 2: even though I was happy that Mary was saying some
- 20:18Speaker 2: of these things, like Mary was saying, you know, Cody,
- 20:21Speaker 2: you don't get to burden me with your grief, like
- 20:22Speaker 2: that's your own shit, we're done. I was happy to
- 20:25Speaker 2: hear that, but at the same time, I still felt
- 20:27Speaker 2: like she was being too nice to Cody and too
- 20:30Speaker 2: nice to Robin, and like not saying the full truth
- 20:33Speaker 2: because she does have all the secrets and it is
- 20:35Speaker 2: really annoying that she still sees some good in Cody,
- 20:40Speaker 2: Like I don't know if I'm like, I don't know
- 20:43Speaker 2: if I should think that that's an admirable trait about
- 20:45Speaker 2: Mary that she tries to see the good in people,
- 20:48Speaker 2: or that she tries to move on and be light
- 20:50Speaker 2: and happy and not be bitter, or if I.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I think it's a weakness because I don't think she
- 20:55Speaker 1: tries to see the good in Christine. I don't think
- 20:57Speaker 1: Christine tries to see the good in Mary. She doesn't
- 21:01Speaker 1: do that with other people for whatever reason, she does
- 21:03Speaker 1: do that with Cody. Let me ask you a question though,
- 21:07Speaker 1: speaking of Cody weaponizing his tears in order to manipulate
- 21:12Speaker 1: Mary when he helped to move her to Pawan, to what end?
- 21:16Speaker 1: Like if he's manipulating her, what's he trying to get
- 21:19Speaker 1: out of her in that moment?
- 21:21Speaker 2: I don't know money, because wasn't Didn't she come back
- 21:25Speaker 2: after that to make the I think so payment from
- 21:29Speaker 2: Coyote Pass?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Maybe I can't remember.
- 21:31Speaker 2: It gets so many episodes.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I think she did come back into town, though, and
- 21:36Speaker 1: she brought that check that could have been it.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think you're right that he does need
- 21:40Speaker 2: somebody on his team because Janelle and Christine are not
- 21:44Speaker 2: going to come to his side and don't hear his
- 21:47Speaker 2: bullshit and they're done talking to him, because even Cody
- 21:50Speaker 2: says in this episode that him and Christine are not
- 21:52Speaker 2: speaking at all, not on good terms whatsoever. So yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 2: I think he probably was just like, Okay, I know
- 21:58Speaker 2: that I can at least manipulate Mary a little bit
- 22:01Speaker 2: to get her to be my friend.
- 22:03Speaker 1: And let's not forget that this was filmed early October
- 22:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, so the majority of the episodes for
- 22:10Speaker 1: season nineteen have not aired, and none of the folks
- 22:14Speaker 1: here have seen any of the episodes, And so Mary
- 22:17Speaker 1: doesn't see how Cody continues to talk about her in
- 22:21Speaker 1: season nineteen and drag her and even in this interview,
- 22:24Speaker 1: the backhanded commentary that he's giving about Mary and the
- 22:27Speaker 1: other wives, like it's no, it was around Christine, but
- 22:30Speaker 1: like he's continuing to do that, but she doesn't know
- 22:32Speaker 1: it at this time. And I think this is where
- 22:36Speaker 1: her and Jen went up on their Instagram, like in
- 22:38Speaker 1: January or February of this year, after seeing Cody call
- 22:42Speaker 1: Jen and Mary's other friends a bit yeah, and Mary
- 22:46Speaker 1: went up on Instagram and said, if I had known
- 22:48Speaker 1: that when I sat down to film the reunion, it
- 22:50Speaker 1: would have been a different reunion. So she's trying to
- 22:53Speaker 1: play nice, and I don't know why she would After
- 22:55Speaker 1: season eighteen, I know, and all of the fuck shit
- 22:57Speaker 1: that he did. But I think she's sitting here trying
- 23:00Speaker 1: to play nice and that's why we're getting what we're
- 23:03Speaker 1: getting from Mary.
- 23:03Speaker 2: And that's the thing with Mary. It's like how many
- 23:05Speaker 2: times do you have to see this behavior from Cody
- 23:08Speaker 2: to like believe that he's a bad person? Like I
- 23:12Speaker 2: guess maybe now she sees it after the bitch.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Common But I wouldn't be a bit surprised that we're
- 23:18Speaker 1: filming for season twenty and it's gonna be the same thing.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yep, the same thing. And it's like, even in this
- 23:23Speaker 2: tall al, Cody's like going on a tirade about how
- 23:28Speaker 2: him and Mary and the rest of the wives are
- 23:30Speaker 2: never going to agree on like why things ended, and
- 23:33Speaker 2: so at least with him and Mary, they'll just like
- 23:35Speaker 2: agree to never talk about it and never deal with
- 23:37Speaker 2: it because they're just never gonna see eye to eye
- 23:40Speaker 2: because we have all of our own biases. And I'm
- 23:42Speaker 2: just like, well, then how can you even be friends
- 23:44Speaker 2: if you can't like be honest and authentic with each
- 23:47Speaker 2: other and you're just gonna like shove shit under the rug.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Well, now he wants to move on now, he doesn't
- 23:52Speaker 1: want to talk about it anywhere with Suki because he
- 23:55Speaker 1: doesn't want to have to sit in the ownership of
- 23:57Speaker 1: what he has done and what he has said against
- 23:59Speaker 1: these women and what do you done to these kids? Right,
- 24:01Speaker 1: So that's why he's just like, Okay, well I'm over it, though, Like,
- 24:04Speaker 1: why are we still talking about this? This is old shit. Sorry,
- 24:07Speaker 1: this happened just a couple of months ago. I still
- 24:09Speaker 1: pissed off about it.
- 24:10Speaker 2: You still have to react to the shit that just
- 24:12Speaker 2: aired on TV, dude.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, It's just crazy to me how unable they are
- 24:18Speaker 1: to sit there and watch some of these clips, Like
- 24:20Speaker 1: when we get to the clip of him meeting David, right,
- 24:22Speaker 1: the next one, let's do let's just go and.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Get to it. Yeah, no, go ahead.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Oh well, I think it's section three or whatever. We
- 24:29Speaker 1: start with discussing Cody and Robin meeting David for the
- 24:34Speaker 1: first time at Gwen's engagement party. I think it was
- 24:36Speaker 1: the engagement party and how awkward that was. And so
- 24:41Speaker 1: Suki's approaching it with Cody kind of bringing up the subject,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and Cody just starts to talk about, oh, yeah, well,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you know, I didn't know if I was going to
- 24:49Speaker 1: be meeting this stood or something, and then Suki responds
- 24:52Speaker 1: and says, well, let's watch the clip, and he's like, well, no, no,
- 24:54Speaker 1: but I mean, I'm just saying that it was and
- 24:56Speaker 1: it's actually a really good conversation. And I don't know
- 24:58Speaker 1: why he was talking to in particular, but he starts
- 25:01Speaker 1: to nervously filibuster audience just to continue to talk because
- 25:06Speaker 1: he doesn't want to watch the clip because he knows
- 25:09Speaker 1: he comes off super awkwardly and cringey, and he doesn't
- 25:13Speaker 1: want to have to watch it back himself yeap, or
- 25:16Speaker 1: have any of us watch it either, And so he
- 25:18Speaker 1: actually tells her like, no, don't roll the clip. I've
- 25:20Speaker 1: already seen the clip. Let's just talk about it. And
- 25:22Speaker 1: they do it anyway, and so she's while he's talking,
- 25:24Speaker 1: She's just like, Okay, roll the clip, which is really great,
- 25:26Speaker 1: which was awesome and I love that, Siky, yeah, yep.
- 25:29Speaker 2: And then we watched the clip, and like you have,
- 25:31Speaker 2: Christine and David talked about how Cody got really read
- 25:34Speaker 2: and it was like really awkward, and Christine was frustrated
- 25:37Speaker 2: because Cody last minute decided that he was going to
- 25:40Speaker 2: come to Gwen's engagement party. Even though he didn't RSVP
- 25:43Speaker 2: and this is just totally his mo o because he's
- 25:46Speaker 2: a narcissist and everything has to center around him. And
- 25:49Speaker 2: Cody's like, well, I wasn't read. I wasn't read there
- 25:52Speaker 2: and it was fine, and like over explains, like, no,
- 25:55Speaker 2: it was only cringey just because I felt like a
- 25:57Speaker 2: little awkward, but like it was nice because David's nice
- 25:59Speaker 2: and like I didn't feel weird around him, and it
- 26:02Speaker 2: was just weird because of Christine because I hate Christine.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Right, he said something like if we were benevolent, maybe
- 26:09Speaker 1: we would have gone out to dinner and met each
- 26:11Speaker 1: other that way, but we couldn't and we couldn't manage that,
- 26:14Speaker 1: so we did it at Gwen's and it was just
- 26:18Speaker 1: really wonderful to see him squirm like that and.
- 26:22Speaker 2: He is coping so hard because it was awkward. Like, yeah, everyone,
- 26:28Speaker 2: everyone could cut that tension with another.
- 26:30Speaker 1: For anybody, it would be awkward. If I were to
- 26:33Speaker 1: meet my ex husband's wife, which I've never met her,
- 26:35Speaker 1: that would be very awkward. I'd be super pretty though,
- 26:38Speaker 1: very cool, but it'd be awkward. Yeah, you can just say, yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: that was hella awkward. I feel weird about it. I'm
- 26:43Speaker 1: sure I came off like a bit of a clown.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry, like that's what I do well.
- 26:47Speaker 2: And even Robin says it, like Robin's like yeah, Like
- 26:51Speaker 2: I'm sure it was awkward, especially for Christine because that's
- 26:54Speaker 2: just how divorce is. Like Robin's being real here, but
- 26:57Speaker 2: Cody's the one that's like, no, but it was that
- 27:00Speaker 2: awkward for me, Like it was fine. It was just
- 27:01Speaker 2: like a weird moment, but like I was fine, and
- 27:03Speaker 2: I wasn't written I was, I wasn't awkward.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Was so great? Did you catch though, when Robin was
- 27:09Speaker 1: lecturing us about divorce and She's like, well, I'm sorry.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You guys have children together. You guys shared a life
- 27:14Speaker 1: and you're going to have to continue to share a life.
- 27:15Speaker 1: And I immediately went to David Jessop. I know, I
- 27:18Speaker 1: immediately went to you know, the older kids and their
- 27:22Speaker 1: biological father and how they systematically removed David Jessup from
- 27:27Speaker 1: those kids' lives. And now you want to sit here
- 27:30Speaker 1: on the couch with your hard ass jaw and lecture
- 27:33Speaker 1: us about how to move on beyond divorce and co parent.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I know, okay, I'm like, as if you did that right?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, huh leaves.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I can't with her. The thing that annoys me so
- 27:45Speaker 2: much about Robin is that she like acts dumb and
- 27:47Speaker 2: she acts like confused all the freaking time. I don't
- 27:50Speaker 2: think you're a sacred cow?
- 27:53Speaker 1: How do you? How do you not know what a
- 27:55Speaker 1: sacred cow is? Didn't we learn about what a sacred
- 27:59Speaker 1: cow was when we were in elementary school, middle school,
- 28:03Speaker 1: high school. We knew about India and about Acre. We
- 28:06Speaker 1: knew what we were talking about when we use the
- 28:08Speaker 1: term sacred. So we're just gonna pretend you don't know
- 28:10Speaker 1: what a sacred cow is, Robin.
- 28:12Speaker 2: That's always her thing, Yeah, just to act all confused
- 28:16Speaker 2: and like I'm innocent. I'm just buying American girl dolls
- 28:19Speaker 2: Withdelle's money.
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm not doing anything wrong exactly. I just can't with her.
- 28:26Speaker 2: And then we have this like weird, awkward conversation about
- 28:29Speaker 2: how like Cody would totally want to hang out with
- 28:32Speaker 2: David and he had a dirty thought that him and
- 28:34Speaker 2: David could go and take a guy dirty.
- 28:37Speaker 1: What was happening on that guy's trip? Dirty little thoughts?
- 28:40Speaker 2: Well, he was nervous about meeting a super handsome stud.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Right, I was like, what a weird word to you,
- 28:46Speaker 1: this little freudian.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Slip a little bit, but talking about taking a guy's
- 28:52Speaker 2: trip with David, I'm like, you're so lying. I don't
- 28:57Speaker 2: know why we're even having this conversation. And then Christine's like, well, yeah,
- 29:01Speaker 2: like maybe we'd have a double date in the future,
- 29:03Speaker 2: but like right now, I don't want to deal with him.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Christine was really weird here. Well she actually says, no, yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 1: it would be okay if they want on a guy's
- 29:13Speaker 1: trip together, and David's like, yeah, we could maybe do that.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I mean there'd have to be different rules. Well, what
- 29:19Speaker 1: kind of different rules? Well, that's between me and Cody.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Also sounding kind of weird, I'm remembering that weird dance.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm remembering that weird lap dance You've got DVA. But
- 29:31Speaker 1: I mean, Christine's acting like she would be just fine
- 29:34Speaker 1: to have some sort of a blind date, not blind date,
- 29:36Speaker 1: double date with Cody and Robin sometime in the future,
- 29:40Speaker 1: but then she starts to qualify it by saying, but
- 29:43Speaker 1: not right now though, yeah, because like I would be
- 29:45Speaker 1: way too nervous and I'd be very uncomfy to have
- 29:49Speaker 1: to sit with them and that's because he just does
- 29:52Speaker 1: not know who I am. And we were married for
- 29:55Speaker 1: twenty six years and he has painted that a certain
- 29:59Speaker 1: way as if he doesn't know who I am, when
- 30:02Speaker 1: when I am committed to something, I'm committed one hundred percent.
- 30:05Speaker 1: She went into this weird tangent to me, like you
- 30:08Speaker 1: didn't need to really say all that. You could have
- 30:10Speaker 1: just said, I will never sit down and have dinner
- 30:12Speaker 1: with bumb ass Cody and problem.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I know well, And I think she was like saying
- 30:17Speaker 2: that almost like a trauma dump a little bit, because
- 30:19Speaker 2: it's obviously like a pain point, and I'm like, we
- 30:22Speaker 2: get it, Christine, like just be honest and real about it.
- 30:25Speaker 2: But maybe she's trying to be careful because of lawsuit
- 30:28Speaker 2: and she's trying to like choose her words a little carefully.
- 30:31Speaker 2: But she does say she goes on and talks about
- 30:33Speaker 2: like I don't like the way that he talks about me,
- 30:35Speaker 2: and I don't like the way that he thinks about me,
- 30:37Speaker 2: and so I don't want to be around that. I'm like, Okay,
- 30:39Speaker 2: that's that's it right right there.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Took us a long way to get there, pretending that
- 30:44Speaker 1: you'd allow your husband to go on a boy's trip
- 30:46Speaker 1: with Cody in his dirty little thoughts, I know.
- 30:49Speaker 2: And then Cody talks about like, well, there would have
- 30:51Speaker 2: to be a lot of healing that would have to
- 30:54Speaker 2: occur for us to even get to that point. And
- 30:57Speaker 2: then he says like, I'm very forgiving. I'm like, okay, sure, Dan.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Well, you know he's sitting there pissed off so high
- 31:05Speaker 1: heaven because he's been sued by Christine and again his
- 31:09Speaker 1: house hasn't sold at this point. He's I mean, may
- 31:11Speaker 1: be under contract for the new mcmachin. I don't really know,
- 31:14Speaker 1: but like things are not solid for him right now,
- 31:16Speaker 1: and he's getting sued and I believe they can go
- 31:19Speaker 1: back three years for that child support based on all
- 31:22Speaker 1: the money that he's been making on Sister West. Till
- 31:24Speaker 1: you know, he's upset and he's pissed, and he's trying
- 31:27Speaker 1: to pretend he would hang out with David and maybe
- 31:30Speaker 1: someday hang out with Christine. But the mask starts to slip.
- 31:34Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, we're not healed though, Yeah, and she
- 31:36Speaker 1: likes to undermine me by trying to take all my money, right.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And then Suki's just like, well, have you seen each other?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Enough to like actually do some real healing, like maybe
- 31:46Speaker 2: you should, you know, hang out and like try and heal,
- 31:49Speaker 2: and Cody just gets silent. He's just like, well, maybe
- 31:52Speaker 2: or maybe not.
- 31:53Speaker 1: This is the weird kind of power dynamics that sometimes
- 31:58Speaker 1: emerge with Cody and other women. It's really misogynistic. It
- 32:03Speaker 1: is an attempt to be quite intimidating and or threatening.
- 32:07Speaker 1: And he seems like a little little man, like I
- 32:10Speaker 1: could just squash him if I wanted to. I'm like,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I don't know who you think you are trying to
- 32:14Speaker 1: intimidate you, frail, little old little peacock of a dumb.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Man straight up, I know. It's like he gives off
- 32:21Speaker 2: this energy, like how dare you even ask me? Like
- 32:24Speaker 2: I'm the King?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Do you not know who I am? Right? I could
- 32:27Speaker 1: stand up and walk out right now, then fucking do
- 32:30Speaker 1: it and don't pay him, I know, and then fire him.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Why are we having Robin again? I ask again, Like
- 32:36Speaker 1: she's giving absolutely nothing. She's unwilling to even watch the clips.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Why are we employing these people?
- 32:42Speaker 2: And that is also really weird because I don't remember
- 32:45Speaker 2: last year she was watching the clips last year, but
- 32:48Speaker 2: this year she's just looking down the entire time, and
- 32:51Speaker 2: it has like nothing.
- 32:52Speaker 1: To say because we validated them by giving them thirty
- 32:55Speaker 1: episodes in season nineteen, so they must thought to themselves, Oh,
- 32:59Speaker 1: this this stuff that I'm doing, this villain stuff that
- 33:01Speaker 1: I'm doing, Like I don't have to show up one
- 33:03Speaker 1: hundred percent, I don't have to let them film in
- 33:05Speaker 1: my house, and I got thirty episodes. So this is
- 33:08Speaker 1: what they're thinking, and this is the perfect time to
- 33:11Speaker 1: lower the boom and fire their.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Asses, right, But we're not going to.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Or fucking cancel Sister Wives. Just people talking.
- 33:18Speaker 2: About that, but we're not. We're gonna get season twenty.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know.
- 33:24Speaker 2: So Cody just sits there and says maybe not, like
- 33:27Speaker 2: I don't know if I want to heal or whatever,
- 33:30Speaker 2: and Sukie's just like, well, why don't you meet Christine
- 33:32Speaker 2: where she's at? And this is the last part of
- 33:35Speaker 2: the episode where Cody just looks at her and stares
- 33:37Speaker 2: at her silently like a psychopath and goes something like
- 33:40Speaker 2: this picks off a piece of hair all dramatically. Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 1: She's like, what is that supposed to mean? Is that
- 33:45Speaker 1: symbolic of something? He's like, no, just a hair I'm
- 33:48Speaker 1: picking it off. I just want to condescend I I.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Just want to beat him up. I'm sorry, I shouldn't
- 33:55Speaker 2: say that. Legally that's a joke, but like, I just
- 33:57Speaker 2: want to do unspeakable thanks to this man.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Why I hate them so much? And I usually watch
- 34:05Speaker 1: each episode twice and it is so difficult for me
- 34:09Speaker 1: to take a second pass with some of these episodes.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I just can't stand them so deeply, so deeply all
- 34:15Speaker 1: the way into my butt for angry and mad at
- 34:17Speaker 1: these people are real.
- 34:18Speaker 2: It's terrible. And then we get to the preview, and
- 34:21Speaker 2: so the next couple tell alls we're gonna talk about
- 34:24Speaker 2: Coyote Pass.
- 34:25Speaker 1: We could have done this in one tell all, but no,
- 34:29Speaker 1: we go we.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Talk about Coyote Pass, and Janelle says something like Cody
- 34:34Speaker 2: always seems to.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Come out ahead because he's selfish.
- 34:37Speaker 2: And he's also been financially abusing everybody right taking that
- 34:41Speaker 2: the money.
- 34:41Speaker 1: That's the truth.
- 34:42Speaker 2: And then we have another conversation about the luggage rack metaphor,
- 34:47Speaker 2: which we talked about before, and it's how a metaphor
- 34:49Speaker 2: for their marriages and blah blah blah. Then we're gonna
- 34:52Speaker 2: ask Robin the stupidest question ever. Does he put your
- 34:55Speaker 2: luggage on the luggage rack in a hotel?
- 34:57Speaker 1: What do we think the answer is going to be.
- 34:59Speaker 2: She's gonna be like, no, it's Cody, and.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Cody's gonna be like, absolutely, Idea, that's my wife because
- 35:04Speaker 1: I'm a gentleman and my entire identity is being her
- 35:06Speaker 1: mea exactly yeah.
- 35:08Speaker 2: And then we have Christine saying something like appearance has
- 35:12Speaker 2: always mattered the most to Cody, and like he started
- 35:15Speaker 2: focusing more on what everybody else was saying in the
- 35:18Speaker 2: world instead of focusing on the inside and being a
- 35:21Speaker 2: good person. And then we have Mary making a comment
- 35:26Speaker 2: about Christine and like why does she have to talk
- 35:28Speaker 2: about Cody all the time? To David, Like, Mary, why
- 35:31Speaker 2: don't you just shut up?
- 35:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not a girl's girl. No, you're not a
- 35:34Speaker 1: girl's girl.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Maybe stop simping for Cody please, And then we have
- 35:38Speaker 2: Cody calling the rumor about Robin and him only wanting
- 35:44Speaker 2: each other just internet bs, right, so I'm like, oh,
- 35:47Speaker 2: so you are reading they twitting Hi, Hi, we hate you.
- 35:55Speaker 2: And then we have Janelle saying Cody has to justify
- 35:59Speaker 2: all of the reasons why Robin is so perfect to him,
- 36:02Speaker 2: which I love the little digs. And then we have
- 36:07Speaker 2: to ask Robin again, would you consider polygamy?
- 36:11Speaker 1: We've already done this.
- 36:12Speaker 2: How many times would we have to?
- 36:13Speaker 1: And then we referenced it through flashbacks already.
- 36:16Speaker 2: And we all know no matter what she says, they
- 36:18Speaker 2: will never be polygamists ever again.
- 36:20Speaker 1: If I could get a guarantee bullshit that it would
- 36:23Speaker 1: work out, then yeah, I'd be open to it. Fuck you,
- 36:26Speaker 1: Fuck you.
- 36:27Speaker 2: You're the one who.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Ruined these families and these relations.
- 36:31Speaker 2: You literally stole Cody away from his entire family.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you're the reason there's no guarantee women like you.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Yep, because you're an evil snake.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Yep. You're an awful person.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Yeah, with a hard job.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Wow.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Sorry, I thought she looked kind of pretty.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Not that we'd need to comment on people's appearances, but
- 36:50Speaker 1: we will. Oh, but I thoughtually looked kind of pretty,
- 36:53Speaker 1: Sutch and she smiles. I think, oh my gosh, you
- 36:56Speaker 1: should smile more. First of all, because your mouth is
- 36:58Speaker 1: literally trendly like it's it's the gravitational pull of your
- 37:04Speaker 1: mouth line and stuff is going down to your boobs
- 37:06Speaker 1: and stuff. It's like really bad. It's like a muppet.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's super bad. These are called marionette lions, Robin, and
- 37:12Speaker 1: you want to probably get those fields or something. Anyway,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm just saying smile more, But then I sound like
- 37:17Speaker 1: those toxic men are just like, why don't you smell more? Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 1: but I mean it looks pretty. Smile more.
- 37:22Speaker 2: And Robin's case though, yeah, she could take that advice.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I didn't think she looked pretty at all. Well, I
- 37:26Speaker 2: means because I think she's an ugly, horrible, awful person.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Oh okay, and so it's just you know, leaking out
- 37:33Speaker 2: of her in her appearance.
- 37:34Speaker 1: But there have been other seasons recently where she's looked worse,
- 37:38Speaker 1: like her whole head looked like a square when her
- 37:41Speaker 1: like eyebrows were apostrophes, and she did not have herself
- 37:44Speaker 1: together at.
- 37:45Speaker 2: All because she was high on ambient, which.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Looks better now. Yeah, she got some highlights and her
- 37:49Speaker 1: eyebrows are better and she's putting some makeup on. I'm
- 37:53Speaker 1: just trying to throw a bone. You're being too nice, okay,
- 37:56Speaker 1: But anyway, so any final thoughts that we get up
- 37:59Speaker 1: on Addie.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Just I guess we'll be back next week.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm just exhausted a third. I'm really fatigued by this.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm like wondering what TLC is even thinking, like why,
- 38:09Speaker 1: who thought? What world? How did we get to let's
- 38:13Speaker 1: give them thirty episodes after last season.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I just like don't understand. I really don't understand it.
- 38:20Speaker 1: After the Christina David wedding special, I'm just like exhausted.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I'm like, this is so much.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Do they not care about the feedback of their fuers?
- 38:29Speaker 2: Obviously not, because they keep doing the same crap over
- 38:32Speaker 2: and over again. I'm just like, if season twenty is
- 38:35Speaker 2: thirty episodes again, it's gonna take us a whole year
- 38:37Speaker 2: to get through it. Yeah, I mean we're gonna cover it. Obviously,
- 38:41Speaker 2: we're gonna we have a job to do.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I was just sorry, that's all now. I was on
- 38:46Speaker 1: chat GPT today looking up what the most popular reality
- 38:52Speaker 1: TV recap podcasts are recapping to see if Sister Wives
- 38:57Speaker 1: even placed. It did not, but the shows that did
- 39:01Speaker 1: were like RuPaul's Drag Race, The Challenge, Team Mom, The Bachelor,
- 39:08Speaker 1: and I'm like, should we like switch Gears or something
- 39:11Speaker 1: Married at First Sight? Oh my god, my god, but
- 39:14Speaker 1: so boring. But I'm just like, I don't maybe there
- 39:17Speaker 1: are other shows out there that a couple of raccoons
- 39:20Speaker 1: in a dumpster should maybe focus on, which because this
- 39:25Speaker 1: is so toxic and I think production is crazy. I
- 39:29Speaker 1: think they're insane. There's no blueprint here, there's no logic,
- 39:34Speaker 1: no rhyme or reason, and I'm exhausted.
- 39:38Speaker 2: I just like can't imagine their editors having to go
- 39:40Speaker 2: through all of this footage and then like piece it
- 39:42Speaker 2: all together and all these different timelines, Like how do
- 39:44Speaker 2: you even keep it?
- 39:45Speaker 1: I could never.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I can't even keep it.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Could never. I mean I have put out content before
- 39:52Speaker 1: in my previous life, before I was a record you
- 39:55Speaker 1: were really famous, like yeah, and I had classes and stuff,
- 39:58Speaker 1: and I'd have to do video editing and I'd have
- 39:59Speaker 1: to like weave it all together. I mean, it's a lot,
- 40:02Speaker 1: a lot. They must have just a hundred video editors
- 40:06Speaker 1: trying to cobble this together. So it makes some kind
- 40:08Speaker 1: of sense, and no Slash, it doesn't. It doesn't make
- 40:12Speaker 1: any sense. Are do you ever approach the actual topics
- 40:15Speaker 1: with any kind of clarity and honesty that we want
- 40:18Speaker 1: to talk about it? Say, oh God, I need to pray.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I was wondering.
- 40:26Speaker 1: So I was watching this like, what are we going
- 40:28Speaker 1: to do this summer. I don't think the Plaths are
- 40:30Speaker 1: coming back anytime soon. There is so much drama happening
- 40:33Speaker 1: with the Plaths. I don't know if y'all know.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I don't even know if I want to cover plathfill
- 40:38Speaker 2: if Olivia is gonna.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Be Olivia Olivia disgust vagina chest hair. He's always walking
- 40:52Speaker 1: around with like his buttons open, so it looks like
- 40:55Speaker 1: a total v for vagina, So cringe. It's so terribly bad.
- 41:00Speaker 1: And of course we know that Ethan has a girlfriend.
- 41:02Speaker 1: She's so pretty.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Well, but I've been on his Instagram and he deleted
- 41:06Speaker 2: all the photos of her, so I wonder if they broke.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Did he wear like a mega hat or something with
- 41:12Speaker 1: his new girlfriend?
- 41:13Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. She looked like she was maybe
- 41:15Speaker 2: into the tradwife stuff.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I follow a little Lydia Plath. You
- 41:20Speaker 1: know she got married to that gooper, Yeah, and they
- 41:23Speaker 1: want to have babies and stuff. And then of course
- 41:26Speaker 1: there was all the drama at Lydia's wedding where Micah.
- 41:29Speaker 2: And Isaac got into it.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Isaac got into a drunk fistfight and Michael I had
- 41:37Speaker 1: to go to the hospital. His whole face was rearraised
- 41:40Speaker 1: by my on some ISYESI yeah. Then of course you've
- 41:42Speaker 1: got Kim who is a despicable alcoholic and then Barry,
- 41:46Speaker 1: who apparently, according to Veronica, Micah's ex girlfriend who left
- 41:50Speaker 1: him after that big wedding debacle. She says, Berry's a
- 41:52Speaker 1: freak yeah, and talks about reptilians and space overlords and
- 41:59Speaker 1: he's probably totally like in the Manno Sphere.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Probably with his non lips, taking steroids and stuff.
- 42:05Speaker 1: God, it could be so good, but that's another show
- 42:08Speaker 1: on TLC. Yeah that they're completely fucking up.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Oh for sure. And it's like there's so much layers
- 42:15Speaker 2: to that show and that's why we loved it. But
- 42:18Speaker 2: then it's just like we're not gonna talk about Kim Stui.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Like, God, you make it so hard DLC because you
- 42:23Speaker 1: suck yep.
- 42:25Speaker 2: And it really is such a disservice because TLC used
- 42:28Speaker 2: to be so fucking liah and he used to platform
- 42:31Speaker 2: the worst of the worst and we used to enjoy it.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Now it's just like, but we never pretended that they
- 42:36Speaker 1: were great, No, we never like gave them all of
- 42:38Speaker 1: this leeway, Like Cody Brown like as if he's an
- 42:41Speaker 1: actual person with integrity who should be on a couch
- 42:44Speaker 1: talking and pontificating and lecturing us about how to be
- 42:47Speaker 1: a good per The fuck you for like call him out?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Do more, do better? It makes me mad and I'm
- 42:52Speaker 1: just I'm just screaming into the void and I'll stop now,
- 42:55Speaker 1: But I do have a question. Is there anything else
- 42:58Speaker 1: that we need to say to these beautiful raccoons before
- 43:00Speaker 1: we get up on ad here be in realm?
- 43:03Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please go to your
- 43:05Speaker 2: favorite podcast platform and leave us a glowing five star review.
- 43:09Speaker 2: It really helps us grow the pod so more people
- 43:10Speaker 2: can join us in the dumpster, and we really appreciate it.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Till the cat Well, if you thought you were bad
- 43:15Speaker 1: about Sister Wives, you going be even madder when we
- 43:18Speaker 1: start talking about Polly Family. And so we will be
- 43:21Speaker 1: back later this week to do a recap of that
- 43:23Speaker 1: shit show Free. Oh my god, that shit show. So
- 43:26Speaker 1: please come back for that, and until then, do not
- 43:29Speaker 1: forget that we have nothing but love for you
- 43:32Speaker 2: And please a mighty by guys,
