- 1:08Speaker 1: parts of America, but by and large, you can't just
- 1:11Speaker 1: go before Patty. You couldn't just go and grab a
- 1:14Speaker 1: sweet potato pie that was good. I didn't know that
- 1:17Speaker 1: non baker Patty. Patty came in with the Patty's pies.
- 1:21Speaker 1: She got all kinds of desserts. So you get in

- 8:47Speaker 4: Ropes Claire Bartholomew Huxtable Bartholomew is a uh you the
- 8:55Speaker 4: sex name yea it is today. Claire Huxtable is just
- 9:01Speaker 4: the ultimate TV mom. Yes, the perfect mix of firm, soft, fair, funny.
- 9:09Speaker 4: She just she was firing on them all cylinders. She
- 9:12Speaker 4: reminded me of my own moms.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, man, Felicia Rashad.
- 9:17Speaker 4: If she didn't win an Emmy for that role, somebody
- 9:19Speaker 4: need to be slapped forth with the best TV mom
- 9:24Speaker 4: of all time, hands down for me. She ain't take
- 9:27Speaker 4: no ship. She was also loving at the same time,
- 9:30Speaker 4: and she would she would go at it with anybody.
- 9:33Speaker 4: She ain't care and I loved it all right, and
- 9:35Speaker 4: then the rapport with her and Cliff Fire.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It's great, all right. I'm gonna go with Aunt viv
- 9:41Speaker 1: original Janet g. Hubert, the actress she gave us. She
- 9:50Speaker 1: had personality. She was squeezing the hands, tough, hurting people's hands. No, No,
- 9:56Speaker 1: her sisters, that was just fun. She didn't take no crap.
- 9:59Speaker 1: They they were well to do. Will was in good
- 10:01Speaker 1: hands when I'm Viv. When they switched to the Uh,
- 10:05Speaker 1: they didn't give her much to do. That's on her.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I don't blame her, no, but the original aunt Viv
- 10:11Speaker 1: had a more well rounded character. I liked her.
- 10:14Speaker 2: They was regular black.
- 10:15Speaker 1: They was there was well off, but they wasn't snooty
- 10:17Speaker 1: and high for louton. Yes, there was regular black, and
- 10:20Speaker 1: I love that about them. She raised some good kids.
- 10:22Speaker 1: She did good with her kids, and she did good
- 10:25Speaker 1: with will.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yes, all right, had I'm coming in with Florida Heavans.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Oh my god. She held the family back. They were
- 10:36Speaker 1: in the lottery. She said no. Every time something good happened,
- 10:40Speaker 1: she was shooting it down, keeping.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Them in the hood. She was scared though, man, Man,
- 10:45Speaker 3: she held her back.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Man, we had some stuff going.
- 10:47Speaker 4: That was very reflective of a lot of people's mindset
- 10:50Speaker 4: back in the day. Man, we were scared, like we
- 10:52Speaker 4: getting opportunities, were getting change, and like opportunities, that's scary
- 10:57Speaker 4: when you don't know nothing else.
- 10:58Speaker 3: So that was a very realistic betrayal or somebody like
- 11:01Speaker 3: even me, you know what I'm saying.
- 11:02Speaker 4: You got that broke mindset, like I'm scared to spend
- 11:05Speaker 4: the money, and so a lot of a lot.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Of people are like that.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You took your money and threw it in the ground
- 11:09Speaker 1: and buried it.
- 11:10Speaker 3: And that's cool.
- 11:13Speaker 4: What was gonna happen anyway. So I feel like that
- 11:15Speaker 4: was a very realistic betrayal. And you know what I'm saying,
- 11:18Speaker 4: I'm going Florida evans Man.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:20Speaker 4: And the way she tried to hold the grief in
- 11:25Speaker 4: and try to work through it, that was very real.
- 11:28Speaker 3: People do that all the time.
- 11:29Speaker 1: She was like, damn, damn, that was that was good man.
- 11:35Speaker 3: So shout out to her.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Harriet Winslow, Okay.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I liked Harriet wins.
- 11:39Speaker 3: She ain't do much.
- 11:40Speaker 1: She was a good mom, like just on the motherly
- 11:43Speaker 1: mother tip. She was up there with the mom stuff,
- 11:45Speaker 1: with the little white thing.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I ain't give her nothing to do, but she was
- 11:49Speaker 3: doing stuff.
- 11:50Speaker 1: She was like, y'all, the family matters, y'all. And it
- 11:52Speaker 1: was like it does, Mama.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I think you're just saying her just to say nah.
- 11:55Speaker 5: She came down.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I was like, whoa, she came down there. She was like, look, Steve,
- 12:03Speaker 1: get in here and be my children.
- 12:06Speaker 3: She was just a good mom.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I feel like I want her to be my mom.
- 12:10Speaker 1: She was a mom, That's what I feel like.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Like.
- 12:12Speaker 2: She was a mom.
- 12:13Speaker 3: And they give him nothing to do.
- 12:15Speaker 1: If somebody had to pick me up from school and
- 12:16Speaker 1: Harriet Winslow pulled around on the station wagon, I'd be like,

- 14:10Speaker 1: She was good, a good show. I'm gonna go. Hmmm,
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. D Mitchell from Moesha Moisha just wasn't
- 14:24Speaker 1: letting her mom enough. But she was a good mom.
- 14:28Speaker 2: She was just angsty. You ain't my mom.
- 14:32Speaker 1: So they were always like at each other.
- 14:35Speaker 3: But fact he was fair, YEAHD was legit.
- 14:38Speaker 1: D was legit. She was fair. Moisha was just like
- 14:41Speaker 1: you ain my mom, always pulling that car. Yeah, like
- 14:49Speaker 1: was good. She didn't go with Miles like, that's not
- 14:52Speaker 1: you know I and you also really hadn't seen that
- 14:55Speaker 1: dynamic a lot. I can't remember anybody in the sitcom
- 14:59Speaker 1: where the mom didn't get along or she didn't get
- 15:02Speaker 1: along with the mom. But the mom wasn't she wasn't
- 15:04Speaker 1: doing anything. You know what I'm saying. Demitch could have.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Been my mom.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I better have her mom than Rita's mom and sister too.
- 15:11Speaker 1: She didn't believe in your dreams, but when she got
- 15:12Speaker 1: to the Moosha, she turned her life around. She believing
- 15:15Speaker 1: in dreams and stuff. She would let you go to
- 15:17Speaker 1: the choir in the competition, de Mitchell, you could go
- 15:20Speaker 1: choir competition, are in if Mitchell is your mom.
- 15:23Speaker 3: But then she came back from the choir competition you're
- 15:25Speaker 3: not my mom.
- 15:28Speaker 2: After they won.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Loki, I was rewatching Moosha and I was like, Moysha
- 15:34Speaker 1: is kind of a brat. Of course, Moaysha. As a kid,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I identified with her way more because I was like, yeah, man,
- 15:40Speaker 1: parents son, he got the step mom going. But as
- 15:42Speaker 1: an adult we were were watching, I was like, Mosa
- 15:45Speaker 1: sucks man.
- 15:47Speaker 4: Yeah, nine times out of ten, I'm not feeling the
- 15:51Speaker 4: teenage kids. Nine times out of ten the teenage kids
- 15:56Speaker 4: annoying when it comes to the parent interactions.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Nine times.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Okay, cool, I'm going Janet Kyle.
- 16:06Speaker 1: And that's my next one.
- 16:07Speaker 4: She was fantastic. She was probably she might be the
- 16:12Speaker 4: funniest mom on here. Yes, straight on, straight, pure last.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Your last, for sure.
- 16:17Speaker 4: She is the funniest mom on the list so far,
- 16:20Speaker 4: by far, because a lot.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Of times you just want the mom to be the mom,
- 16:24Speaker 3: like the straight.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Man in the sense. But man, they let her rip
- 16:28Speaker 4: and run and hang with Damon Way and it was
- 16:32Speaker 4: just fantastic. She is easily one of the best.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm with you Cambell her second syndicated TV show, I'm
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm Gonna Slide around the side on your tone White Woman.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Jill Taylor from Home Improvement.
- 16:50Speaker 1: She was good, Big White Mom, Pizza rolls in the
- 16:55Speaker 1: oven Mom, Jim was legit. Jim was legit. She was funny.
- 17:00Speaker 1: She she was a good foil to Tim. The two
- 17:03Speaker 1: man Taylor. She had the three kids. You know, Jonathan Taylor, Thomas,
- 17:06Speaker 1: the other two whites. Uh, they never really got cracked
- 17:10Speaker 1: off as much as Jonathan Taylor Thomas. You know, Zach
- 17:12Speaker 1: something and don't know Brian. There you go. There was
