- 0:18Speaker 1: Hey, good afternoon, and welcome to another episode of Wellness Uncensored.
- 0:23Speaker 2: My name is Dr. Patty G.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I am your host here today to talk to you
- 0:27Speaker 1: about all things health, wellness, mental health, physical health, and
- 0:31Speaker 1: what's out and about today in the community in healthcare
- 0:35Speaker 1: and psychiatry. You guys have heard a little bit. For
- 0:39Speaker 1: the past four years, we've actually been coming to you
- 0:41Speaker 1: across all the major podcast outlets and And each week,
- 0:44Speaker 1: we love to bring you something provocative, something that will
- 0:47Speaker 1: allow you to text in questions. So today, we would
- 0:51Speaker 1: be remiss if we didn't say, just feel free to
- 0:54Speaker 1: text in your thoughts, your opinion, your questions, anything that
- 0:57Speaker 1: you'd like to talk or hear more about. A couple
- 1:01Speaker 1: of quick, brief points of interest. Many of you know
- 1:04Speaker 1: I spent the last however many days doing this 75-day
- 1:08Speaker 1: hard challenge. Today, I have come upon day 75. And
- 1:13Speaker 1: it was not without a lot of hard work and perseverance.
- 1:19Speaker 1: There were a couple of days, actually, there were many days.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I didn't think I was going to really be able
- 1:23Speaker 1: to wear the test of time, but no joke, no worries.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Today's day 75. I completed my second workout of the
- 1:30Speaker 1: day just about an hour and a half ago. And
- 1:32Speaker 1: so I just need to make it till midnight and
- 1:36Speaker 1: I will have successfully completed that challenge. And why I
- 1:39Speaker 1: did that challenge is is a personal journey. And that
- 1:42Speaker 1: personal journey is something each one of you can take.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I want you all to realize that we're here to
- 1:47Speaker 1: try to help you become your best self, your strongest self,
- 1:51Speaker 1: your self that allows you to not let anyone make
- 1:54Speaker 1: you breakable or shakable. We really are living in some
- 1:58Speaker 1: tough times. And during those times, we have been questioned,
- 2:01Speaker 1: we have been challenged, we have been made to be fearful.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And the only thing you can control is you. And
- 2:09Speaker 1: so what we've tried to build in these past episodes
- 2:13Speaker 1: over the last four years is to help you be stronger,
- 2:15Speaker 1: have resiliency, gain some self-care, and really feel comfortable and
- 2:21Speaker 1: confident in all the things you do. And so if
- 2:25Speaker 1: you want to take that challenge, it's out there on
- 2:27Speaker 1: the internet. You can do a 75-day hard or 75-day soft.
- 2:32Speaker 1: There's a little variance to each one of them, but
- 2:34Speaker 1: I think it's a great personal journey. So today is
- 2:36Speaker 1: my day 75. We are here today with a special guest. And,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know, last week I had the pleasure of sharing
- 2:43Speaker 1: what I had done last Monday in joining fellow nurses, providers, patients,
- 2:49Speaker 1: survivors and victims and families who have lost loved ones
- 2:54Speaker 1: all during that five year period of the pandemic. We
- 2:57Speaker 1: are still losing people today and we're still using some
- 2:59Speaker 1: of those medications today that we have basically tried and
- 3:03Speaker 1: tested and knew before the pandemic. probably shouldn't be utilized,
- 3:06Speaker 1: but we were relegated to one plan, one protocol. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: in doing such, we limited a lot of the options
- 3:12Speaker 1: that were available to the public and providers were limited,
- 3:16Speaker 1: nurses were restricted, and so many went through the test
- 3:19Speaker 1: of time. And it really took a toll on families,
- 3:23Speaker 1: on spouses, on parents, loved ones, and especially the healthcare staff.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And in my trials and tribulations of meeting people across
- 3:34Speaker 1: the country and the world for the last five years,
- 3:36Speaker 1: I had the pleasure of meeting Jodi O'Malley. She's a
- 3:39Speaker 1: master's prepared RN. And her and I have traveled in
- 3:42Speaker 1: similar paths, but on separate journeys. And in getting to
- 3:46Speaker 1: talk with her and be on her podcast, we came
- 3:50Speaker 1: to meet last Monday. And I want to welcome Jodi
- 3:53Speaker 1: and have her come on and talk a little bit about,
- 3:55Speaker 1: she's got her own podcast as well as a website.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's called Nurses Out Loud, but.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Jodi, welcome.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm really grateful that you're here because you are another voice,
- 4:04Speaker 1: a very strong voice. And I feel when two or
- 4:07Speaker 1: more come together, not only are we blessed, but we're
- 4:10Speaker 1: sharing a very prophetic message. And so today we've got
- 4:13Speaker 1: you on and I'm super excited to chat with you.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I know you're a little under the weather and again,
- 4:19Speaker 1: even harder for you to be able to talk and
- 4:20Speaker 1: be here, but welcome. And thanks for joining us. Tell
- 4:24Speaker 1: us a little bit about your journey.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yes. Hello, Patti. Thank you for having me. Oh, my journey.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Where to begin? Where to begin?
- 4:32Speaker 3: It's a long one. I don't know.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It was a little, you know.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I can talk a little bit.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Let's talk just from 2020 onward because I think that's
- 4:42Speaker 4: when my life changed. I was working as a As
- 4:47Speaker 4: a float pool nurse. So I worked in critical care, ER, ICU, pre-op, PACU,
- 4:54Speaker 4: anywhere they needed me. And early in that, in 2020,
- 4:59Speaker 4: they asked me to be a hospital supervisor and to
- 5:02Speaker 4: fill in.
- 5:03Speaker 3: So I've worked.
- 5:04Speaker 4: That role for about 60, a little bit more than
- 5:08Speaker 4: 60% of the time for the next 15 months.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Until I became a federal whistleblower. But being in.
- 5:16Speaker 4: That role, I knew what was going on with admin.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I knew the directives that were coming down and how
- 5:26Speaker 4: policy and protocol was changing. And basically my first alarm
- 5:32Speaker 4: was when we shut down non-essential surgeries, right?
- 5:37Speaker 3: That's basically- The moneymaker, yeah. The moneymaker, yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 4: The moneymaker, really, truly that for your listeners out there,
- 5:48Speaker 4: hospitals make the most money off of their surgeries and
- 5:51Speaker 4: their diagnostic tests or colonoscopies anytime you're under, so to speak.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And so that was a big shock to me, especially
- 6:00Speaker 4: with the Native Americans. We were working closely with Mayo
- 6:05Speaker 4: because they were what they called the zebras of cancer. Uh,
- 6:10Speaker 4: so Mayo had a big interest in this population and, uh,
- 6:15Speaker 4: it just, I, I knew that if we're not diagnosing
- 6:19Speaker 4: and we're not treating, everything's going to get backlogged, you know? Uh,
- 6:23Speaker 4: but then the big, the big one for me was
- 6:26Speaker 4: when we removed the advocate.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, there are eyes and ears. nurses, eyes and ears, right?
- 6:37Speaker 3: We can't be in three, four or five rooms at
- 6:40Speaker 3: the same time.
- 6:41Speaker 4: And, and, and so that really Patty started leading me
- 6:45Speaker 4: down this path of just researching all these things I
- 6:50Speaker 4: knew to be true. And then realize that we were
- 6:54Speaker 4: doing the opposite. For example, public health policy 101, you
- 6:59Speaker 4: don't isolate the sick with the healthy. What in the
- 7:03Speaker 4: world was our government thinking.
- 7:07Speaker 3: To isolate, you know, the kids?
- 7:10Speaker 4: And we know that the kids, most of the times
- 7:13Speaker 4: that they only get a reprieve from their abusers when
- 7:16Speaker 4: they're at school.
- 7:18Speaker 3: All these kinds of things just really made my day. uh, discern,
- 7:23Speaker 3: I guess. Yeah. Lift. Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 4: And, um, and then let's move on until, um, you know, well,
- 7:32Speaker 4: first of all, the, the native Americans, they had the
- 7:36Speaker 4: highest rate of death, uh, to the, to COVID.
- 7:42Speaker 3: In general, uh, seven, they lost seven years off of
- 7:45Speaker 3: their lifespan, uh, during 2020, 2021 and 22.
- 7:48Speaker 4: So, uh, We saw our first wave, I call it,
- 7:55Speaker 4: in the summer of 2020. And that's when we shut
- 8:00Speaker 4: down the reservations. And then all of a sudden they
- 8:03Speaker 4: shut down the reservations and then we get this influx
- 8:06Speaker 4: of COVID positive patients. But again, a lot of things
- 8:11Speaker 4: weren't making sense to me. I knew that they had
- 8:15Speaker 4: been giving hydroxychloroquine and it had been working. And then
- 8:19Speaker 4: all of a sudden we got this new medication remdesivir
- 8:23Speaker 4: coming out.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yeah and that's the thing you know where i was
- 8:27Speaker 1: at up in idaho we were having such success with
- 8:30Speaker 1: hydroxychloroquine and patients were going home and then the mandates
- 8:35Speaker 1: came down and it was pulled out of the formulary
- 8:38Speaker 1: and the push for remdesivir we've got a quick question
- 8:41Speaker 1: and since you had mentioned about being a whistleblower i
- 8:43Speaker 1: love when the audience kind of texted some questions we'll
- 8:46Speaker 1: probably get a lot more today too but um Vita
- 8:49Speaker 1: is asking, you know, was it hard for you to
- 8:51Speaker 1: start speaking up? And I've told the viewers many times
- 8:54Speaker 1: about how challenging it was because you not only do
- 8:56Speaker 1: you get beat down, but then you typically run a
- 8:59Speaker 1: risk for even losing your job. But how was it
- 9:01Speaker 1: for you to start speaking up? Where were you speaking
- 9:04Speaker 1: up before you.
- 9:05Speaker 2: You know, I guess change jobs?
- 9:08Speaker 4: I was speaking up to everybody. Yeah, I did what
- 9:12Speaker 4: we always did.
- 9:13Speaker 3: And that's how scientific.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Discourse and debate at the nurses station with the doctors,
- 9:19Speaker 4: the therapists, the nurses. So was it hard for me
- 9:24Speaker 4: to speak up? No, because that's my nature.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 4: My dad is a little kid would be like, damn it, Jody,
- 9:32Speaker 4: why you ask so many questions?
- 9:36Speaker 3: So that's just who I was.
- 9:39Speaker 4: And as a nurse, I would always make sure that
- 9:42Speaker 4: my question was asked before I acted.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Or was, you know, was answered before I acted.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And that's the critical thinking. But how many people around you,
- 9:53Speaker 1: did they, did they all go, yeah, Jodi, yeah, what
- 9:55Speaker 1: are we doing? Or did they go, oh, well, I
- 9:57Speaker 1: don't know. We got to follow what they tell us
- 9:59Speaker 1: to do.
- 9:59Speaker 5: I mean.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Did you get a lot of response from people around
- 10:01Speaker 1: you like.
- 10:02Speaker 4: No they were they were fearful yeah they were fearful
- 10:06Speaker 4: and i i i knew so how the lord started
- 10:10Speaker 4: talking to me was through scripture through the word And
- 10:15Speaker 4: I was raised in church. I went every time those
- 10:18Speaker 4: doors opened up until I was about 12.
- 10:21Speaker 3: So now here I am in my early 40s.
- 10:24Speaker 4: I'm not a big Bible reader.
- 10:27Speaker 3: But all of a sudden.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Huh?
- 10:31Speaker 3: You have faith.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Well, yes, I've always had a very strong relationship with him,
- 10:36Speaker 4: but I, I didn't know, you know, the Bible per se,
- 10:40Speaker 4: but he started speaking to me that way. I started saying, um,
- 10:45Speaker 4: for example, um, the enemy is the author of confusion
- 10:50Speaker 4: and I would just Google.
- 10:52Speaker 3: And I was like, yes, that's a scripture. The enemy
- 10:55Speaker 3: is the author of confusion.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Um, fear not for I am with you.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I would, you know, Google it.
- 11:01Speaker 4: So that's how he was speaking to me. And that's
- 11:06Speaker 4: how I knew, wait a second. I'm also from Chicago.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So I have a lot of street smarts.
- 11:13Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:14Speaker 3: There you go. And so, uh, looking at that death
- 11:17Speaker 3: toll ticker 24 seven, And fear, fear, fear, fear, fear.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Nothing positive. Don't go outside.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Don't take big, deep breaths. Don't be happy. Don't see
- 11:32Speaker 4: your loved ones. You know what I'm saying?
- 11:34Speaker 3: So, yeah. That made sense. None of it made sense.
- 11:39Speaker 4: And then when I went through my whistleblower, because this
- 11:43Speaker 4: is I mean, this is still ongoing, guys. I did
- 11:47Speaker 4: get a discovery that in June of 2020, the chief
- 11:52Speaker 4: nursing officer and the chief medical officer.
- 11:56Speaker 3: In an email said, well, we don't have.
- 12:00Speaker 4: She's not violating HIPAA and she removed her affiliation with
- 12:06Speaker 4: the hospital. So we can't get her on anything.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 1: How about that?
- 12:11Speaker 3: They were already starting to look at me for speaking out.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You and I both, I had my CEO started looking
- 12:18Speaker 1: at me for my Facebook post, which were, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: just basically speaking up. And I didn't really have a
- 12:26Speaker 1: high regard for Dr. Fauci or the CDC. And so,
- 12:30Speaker 1: you know, little memes that I would put out, you know, again,
- 12:32Speaker 1: they were fun. They were, you know, certainly not hostile,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but they were speaking out like, oh, she doesn't believe
- 12:38Speaker 1: she doesn't believe us.
- 12:39Speaker 3: And I didn't.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And so how did that go? I mean, as far
- 12:42Speaker 1: as them not being able to do anything to you,
- 12:44Speaker 1: what was that like?
- 12:45Speaker 4: Well, they say that when you're in a federal position,
- 12:49Speaker 4: it takes an act of Congress to fire you. And
- 12:53Speaker 4: it almost holds true to win a whistleblower lawsuit as well.
- 12:58Speaker 3: So I will say that kind of goes both ways.
- 13:01Speaker 3: But how did it go?
- 13:03Speaker 4: Well, they kept using me as hospital supervisor. I guess
- 13:08Speaker 4: whether they liked it or not, because I was a
- 13:12Speaker 4: great supervisor and a nurse and a critical thinker. So
- 13:16Speaker 4: I never had to call admin when I was at work.
- 13:19Speaker 4: And everybody was taking off. sick remember that's when you
- 13:25Speaker 4: if you had a sniffle you could take off for
- 13:28Speaker 4: two weeks and yeah for it.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Made it tough just enough yeah but everybody was out.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Everybody was doing that and me I refused any testing
- 13:38Speaker 4: I I knew you know that that it was experimental
- 13:42Speaker 4: and I didn't need anybody to tell me that I
- 13:44Speaker 4: was sick and so I was kind of a thorn
- 13:47Speaker 4: in their side in a way uh the masks I
- 13:50Speaker 4: wouldn't really wear that. I'd wear it under my chin
- 13:52Speaker 4: with a cup of coffee walking around. But again, they
- 13:57Speaker 4: couldn't debate me because when I would say why I
- 14:01Speaker 4: wasn't doing these things, they couldn't argue it.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I had science and facts on my side. You know
- 14:08Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 14:09Speaker 4: But it was polarizing, so it wasn't easy. And then
- 14:13Speaker 4: when the shot came out, everybody lined up to take it.
- 14:17Speaker 3: They wanted it.
- 14:18Speaker 4: And I had asked my leadership to put on the
- 14:23Speaker 4: triage note a question.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Are you vaccinated? If so, when? So we could start
- 14:30Speaker 3: to collect this data.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Because I had already known as house supervisor that the
- 14:36Speaker 4: majority of these people calling out had already received, had
- 14:40Speaker 4: already got COVID months prior.
- 14:43Speaker 3: And now why are they getting it again?
- 14:45Speaker 4: So I immediately knew the shot wasn't working and I
- 14:49Speaker 4: would say that to everybody. But then again, the enemy,
- 14:52Speaker 4: the author of confusion, remember how they kept moving the
- 14:55Speaker 4: goalposts and they said, oh, but no, you have to have,
- 15:00Speaker 4: two shots, two weeks apart.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And you may get milder symptoms, but at least you
- 15:06Speaker 1: won't really become so ill. There was so much confusion.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And that was what I shared with folks too. You know, again,
- 15:14Speaker 1: at the beginning, I was a nursing chief nursing officer
- 15:18Speaker 1: in Idaho. Then they had launched me out into the
- 15:23Speaker 1: sites where it was the masses, you know, there was
- 15:26Speaker 1: overflow and overload. And when I left that organization, I
- 15:29Speaker 1: had gone down to Texas and it was over three facilities.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And when you see it's such a broad brush, the
- 15:35Speaker 1: same mistakes, the same discord, the same confusion, but so
- 15:39Speaker 1: many people I found really just complied and few really
- 15:45Speaker 1: stuck their head neck out to do anything differently. Where
- 15:49Speaker 1: did you find the greatest pushback that kind of led
- 15:51Speaker 1: you into, you know, begin nurses out loud? What kind
- 15:54Speaker 1: of transformed your journey?
- 15:55Speaker 4: Well, the greatest pushback I got was when I had
- 15:58Speaker 4: to advocate for ivermectin. My patient or my colleague who
- 16:03Speaker 4: was a patient, I had found out about ivermectin in
- 16:07Speaker 4: October of 2020. And so a matter of fact, ER
- 16:12Speaker 4: physician knew Dr.
- 16:14Speaker 3: McCullough, Peter McCullough. Oh, yeah. Dr.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Peter.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:18Speaker 4: So he came out to Our pharmacy and therapeutics committee
- 16:23Speaker 4: in October of 2020 and did a PowerPoint presentation on
- 16:28Speaker 4: the use of hydroxychloroquine in COVID patients.
- 16:31Speaker 3: And they unanimously said no. Isn't that incredible? It's incredible. Incredible.
- 16:38Speaker 3: We were given.
- 16:39Speaker 4: EUA medication, you know, just experimental medications. And here's a
- 16:45Speaker 4: drug that has a safety profile.
- 16:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Decades.
- 16:50Speaker 4: And you're not going to use it. But so my
- 16:52Speaker 4: coworker wanted it. I was house supervisor, long story short
- 16:58Speaker 4: pharmacy blocked it. She said that she couldn't fill it
- 17:03Speaker 4: for anything other than lice or scabies. And that's when
- 17:06Speaker 4: I put my phone up.
- 17:07Speaker 3: On the desk and hit record. And then I started.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Recording over the next, just a few shifts. I got
- 17:15Speaker 4: the cases of myocarditis and healthy people and, I got
- 17:18Speaker 4: doctors saying that the vaccine is full of, you know what,
- 17:23Speaker 4: just what people's true thoughts were. And so I released
- 17:27Speaker 4: it with an organization called Project Veritas.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 17:31Speaker 4: And that video in 24 hours had over five million views.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Americans donated to me.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I had no idea how I was going to be received.
- 17:41Speaker 4: The Lord just told me to expose this. And this
- 17:45Speaker 4: was also when the mandates were coming down for all
- 17:49Speaker 4: healthcare workers by like October 1st, you needed to have
- 17:52Speaker 4: that shot or you were out.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah. So I put that out there to the world.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I had 18 board complaints against my license. I went
- 18:02Speaker 4: in front of the nursing board. They ordered me to
- 18:05Speaker 4: undergo a formal ethics evaluation. I was cleared of every single.
- 18:09Speaker 3: One of those. charges. So that's why I teach ethics now.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Cause I realized that we are not, um, we were
- 18:17Speaker 4: not taught the code of ethics.
- 18:19Speaker 3: We're taught the principles.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Of bioethics, but not the code and, um, that fear
- 18:24Speaker 4: and not knowing the code of ethics, not knowing, having
- 18:27Speaker 4: faith in Jesus and not knowing the code of ethics
- 18:30Speaker 4: are the two biggest things.
- 18:32Speaker 3: That's, that's my mission. I love that. Yeah. So that's
- 18:36Speaker 3: how it's been going. He's been breaking me up and
- 18:38Speaker 3: down and valleys.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It is full of emotion.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Well, and, you know, and there's so much like, gosh,
- 18:45Speaker 1: I want to cram in here.
- 18:46Speaker 2: There's so much.
- 18:47Speaker 1: But, you know, even to this day, just, you know,
- 18:52Speaker 1: all the things there's people we went to Washington. Right.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I found that to be such a wonderful event, sort
- 18:59Speaker 1: of a healing event, a come together event. It brought patients,
- 19:02Speaker 1: family members, victims, survivors, those who lost loved ones and
- 19:06Speaker 1: all the providers. Oh, yeah, we've got some pictures of
- 19:08Speaker 1: you guys. It was so great to meet you all.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And I felt that it was bringing the truth out.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But yet after we had been there and talking and
- 19:18Speaker 1: listening to people, there's still people that are just completely
- 19:23Speaker 1: shut down to the idea that, all right, we're done
- 19:25Speaker 1: with that. That was five years ago. What are you
- 19:27Speaker 1: all still talking about?
- 19:28Speaker 3: Oh, I don't care.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Oh, I need to go get my booster. Had you
- 19:31Speaker 1: heard any of that since last week? And I guess
- 19:33Speaker 1: what were your thoughts on last week as well? And
- 19:35Speaker 1: then what's some of the stuff you're still hearing? I'm
- 19:37Speaker 1: just I'm hearing this little negative chatter.
- 19:41Speaker 4: You know, it's a divisive topic because those people that
- 19:44Speaker 4: got injected, they can't take that back. And so we,
- 19:49Speaker 4: you know, we're really fighting where we're fighting, you know,
- 19:54Speaker 4: the spirit of the enemy, right? The enemy, 100%. But
- 19:59Speaker 4: they're still watching us, Patty. So this is how I
- 20:01Speaker 4: look at it.
- 20:02Speaker 3: If they said what they said and then.
- 20:04Speaker 4: They blocked us and you never saw their name again,
- 20:07Speaker 4: you know, that's one thing. But for me, I have,
- 20:10Speaker 4: you know, almost 60,000 viewers on Facebook. I'll tell you,
- 20:13Speaker 4: a lot of them are sticking around.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. They want to
- 20:18Speaker 3: hear more. Yeah. They want to hear the truth. Yes.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I mean, even at my work, nobody says anything to me.
- 20:28Speaker 4: They don't talk to me about what I'm doing. And
- 20:31Speaker 4: I certainly don't bring it up. But they all know
- 20:34Speaker 4: that I'm very... vocal and out there. And sometimes when
- 20:38Speaker 4: I get a post that goes viral, I can see
- 20:42Speaker 4: certain people, you know, like whispering a little bit about
- 20:47Speaker 4: this and that, but you know what, that just makes
- 20:49Speaker 4: me want to be even louder. Yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It's the truth.
- 20:53Speaker 4: And we're, we as believers are called to share the
- 20:57Speaker 4: truth with the come.
- 20:58Speaker 3: What may attitude. Like my friend James says, my price
- 21:02Speaker 3: is my life. And that's how I feel.
- 21:04Speaker 4: It 100 percent is because as a believer, we know this.
- 21:08Speaker 3: World's not our home. So I try not to live
- 21:11Speaker 3: in it too much. Yeah.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting. And you said you had, you know,
- 21:17Speaker 1: 18 things against your nursing license. That is that's a
- 21:20Speaker 1: little scary to hear. And the fact that you came
- 21:22Speaker 1: through all that and, you know, you were you know,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you were found innocent of all those claims. And I
- 21:29Speaker 1: think that's the challenge is that people are so caught
- 21:32Speaker 1: up in, you know, we need an income. You know,
- 21:34Speaker 1: what will people think? What will people say? Peer pressure,
- 21:37Speaker 1: family pressure. Families all succumbed in many ways because they didn't,
- 21:41Speaker 1: you know, brother, sister, husband, wife, mother, father, daughter, son,
- 21:45Speaker 1: whatever it is. They're like, well, just to keep the peace.
- 21:48Speaker 1: And I think, you know, respectfully to everyone. You have
- 21:51Speaker 1: to do what's right for you. And I only have
- 21:54Speaker 1: one thing that I have the ability to control. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: that's me, what I do in my body. And like yourself,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I mean, I have such tremendous faith that you and
- 22:04Speaker 1: I both survived through these last five years. And for me,
- 22:09Speaker 1: when I was sick and I had COVID, I was
- 22:10Speaker 1: in the ICU and I really didn't have a choice.
- 22:13Speaker 1: And I've never been so sick in my life and
- 22:15Speaker 1: made such personal life choices. I, you know, had remdesivir.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I didn't, I knew that it was bad. I was
- 22:23Speaker 1: Googling it on my phone when I was actually getting it.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It felt like liquid cement. I think I told you,
- 22:28Speaker 1: but my prayer was when I got out, I said, God,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I will make a difference every day. And so while
- 22:34Speaker 1: all my goal, and I think yours is the same,
- 22:37Speaker 1: it's our mission. It's what we do living in this
- 22:39Speaker 1: world with people around us that judge and make such decisions.
- 22:43Speaker 1: You know, for me, it was quite telling because I
- 22:45Speaker 1: thought Monday was a beautiful day to give hope to
- 22:48Speaker 1: the survivors. Those widows and widowers, I mean, they looked
- 22:52Speaker 1: at you, they looked at me. Some of them knew
- 22:54Speaker 1: me and I had to like look because I didn't
- 22:57Speaker 1: really know where they were from. But I hugged them,
- 22:59Speaker 1: I acknowledged them, I supported them. And yet two days later,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I was given the opportunity of my full-time employment that
- 23:06Speaker 1: would no longer be after my contract's up. And it
- 23:10Speaker 1: came right on the heels of that. And while I
- 23:11Speaker 1: wasn't informed of any reason and had a stellar record,
- 23:15Speaker 1: Patients think I do a great job.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I've received great reviews at work.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Of course, nothing ever in writing, even my contract not
- 23:23Speaker 1: being renewed is not in writing, but I know my
- 23:25Speaker 1: end date. And while I can respect it, it's like
- 23:29Speaker 1: you and I stand in the face of danger, stand
- 23:31Speaker 1: in the face of truth, stand before God. If you
- 23:34Speaker 1: disagree with what we say, then why not have a conversation? Say, look,
- 23:39Speaker 1: you know, that's not what I feel. That's not what
- 23:41Speaker 1: I believe. But I respect you because you do have
- 23:43Speaker 1: strong convictions. And their faith and my faith, I think
- 23:46Speaker 1: we actually all believe in the same, you know, God, Lord,
- 23:49Speaker 1: being and Savior. However, when people are opposed here on Earth,
- 23:53Speaker 1: they don't even they don't even do it in such
- 23:55Speaker 1: a forefronted kind of way. But again, what did you
- 23:59Speaker 1: think from Monday? Did you walk away with some really
- 24:02Speaker 1: good things? Did you talk to some families and other nurses?
- 24:05Speaker 1: What were some of the positives of Monday's session with
- 24:08Speaker 1: Senator Johnson?
- 24:09Speaker 2: What did you love?
- 24:10Speaker 3: Well, I think the positive is that the truth went
- 24:14Speaker 3: forth to the world. Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 4: And it went, not even just the truth, the light, right?
- 24:22Speaker 4: As believers, we are that light of the world. And
- 24:26Speaker 4: we did shine on the darkness. We knew, I mean,
- 24:30Speaker 4: I kept saying over and over that, we were in
- 24:35Speaker 4: the most evil place in America and that's government, that's DC.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And it's true.
- 24:41Speaker 3: It really is true. I mean, Satan likes to hide
- 24:45Speaker 3: out in government, schools and hospitals. That's really where.
- 24:49Speaker 4: You affect people and you affect the culture and the
- 24:52Speaker 4: family unit and individuals. And so there was a lot
- 24:59Speaker 4: of movement in the fact that See, these posts, like,
- 25:04Speaker 4: you know, Patty, we weren't able, I mean, for me
- 25:07Speaker 4: to get 5 million views on my video in 2021
- 25:12Speaker 4: would be more equivalent to 100 million like now because
- 25:18Speaker 4: we don't have the censorship.
- 25:20Speaker 2: We were so censored.
- 25:22Speaker 3: So here's the thing.
- 25:23Speaker 4: We know that we are on the side of truth
- 25:27Speaker 4: and we know how this ends. So the fact that
- 25:31Speaker 4: people are still so afraid to share it and speak it,
- 25:35Speaker 4: it blows my mind. I mean, especially as believers and
- 25:41Speaker 4: followers of Jesus, we know how this ends. You know,
- 25:46Speaker 4: when I had to go in front of the board
- 25:48Speaker 4: of nursing, I remember sitting there.
- 25:51Speaker 3: And I was terrified. I really was.
- 25:54Speaker 4: I didn't know what he was going to, if my
- 25:57Speaker 4: license was going to be taken away. I had just
- 26:00Speaker 4: gotten my master's degree. I was only a nurse at
- 26:03Speaker 4: this point for about five years, you know? So I
- 26:07Speaker 4: was very new. I was bright eyed and bushy tailed.
- 26:11Speaker 4: I believed everything I was taught. And when I was
- 26:15Speaker 4: sitting there, There was a lady that was an NP
- 26:19Speaker 4: like yourself that went in front of them and they
- 26:23Speaker 4: they were coming down on her for prescribing hydroxychloroquine and
- 26:27Speaker 4: they dismissed it and they dismissed her case. And she
- 26:31Speaker 4: walked out of there and I ran out of that
- 26:34Speaker 4: room after her. And I said, oh, my gosh, thank
- 26:37Speaker 4: you so much for helping people. And she said, you're welcome. Why,
- 26:42Speaker 4: what are you doing here? And I told her what
- 26:45Speaker 4: I had done. And she said, let me pray for you.
- 26:48Speaker 4: And right then and.
- 26:49Speaker 3: There with those doors where the, all of the board.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Members could see directly at us, we sat there and
- 26:57Speaker 4: laid hands on each other.
- 27:00Speaker 3: And I walked in and I was unscathed too.
- 27:02Speaker 4: So this is, we, we, as believers were told that
- 27:08Speaker 4: we are supposed to trust him in all things, but
- 27:11Speaker 4: yet we, we don't do that when it comes down
- 27:14Speaker 4: to it, whether like, are you going to choose what
- 27:17Speaker 4: he's laying on your heart or what your mom says?
- 27:21Speaker 4: Are you care more about uncle Bob not talking to
- 27:24Speaker 4: you anymore or, or not following that still small voice?
- 27:30Speaker 3: So the positives were you know the.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Nursing we really came together we got to see these
- 27:37Speaker 4: widows that we've been speaking out for and why.
- 27:41Speaker 3: We all blew the whistle basically so it was.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Powerful and meeting you I remember I just had found
- 27:48Speaker 4: out about you what a couple weeks.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Prior to this I was so excited.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I know it was really great I mean I truly
- 27:55Speaker 1: think it was it was a blessing it was a
- 27:56Speaker 1: God thing and you know, that's the thing, you know,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you know, when you, you get that feeling of, it's
- 28:04Speaker 1: almost as if, you know, God puts his hand on
- 28:07Speaker 1: you and go, you know what, go forward, my good
- 28:09Speaker 1: and faithful servant. I didn't say the road would be easy. However,
- 28:13Speaker 1: this is your path.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And that was it for me.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You know, when I sat in that ICU to where
- 28:19Speaker 1: I am today, I wouldn't do anything differently. I was
- 28:22Speaker 1: given the gift to get out and, I knew that
- 28:26Speaker 1: it was a very small window of time if I
- 28:28Speaker 1: didn't get out of the hospital and I didn't work
- 28:30Speaker 1: on my recovery. You know, I wouldn't be here to
- 28:32Speaker 1: see my kids.
- 28:34Speaker 2: And I am a mouthpiece.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I am an expert in clinical care. You know, the
- 28:39Speaker 1: funniest story, I don't know if we got to talk
- 28:41Speaker 1: about this before, but the whole thing that propelled me
- 28:44Speaker 1: into be a nurse practitioner was this God awful pandemic plandemic.
- 28:49Speaker 2: I had my master's degree.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I had no reason to do anything more. I was
- 28:52Speaker 1: in a chief nursing officer position. about, I don't know, 13,
- 28:55Speaker 1: 14 years at the time. And they wanted me to
- 28:58Speaker 1: go back for my doctoral degree. And I was like, oh,
- 29:01Speaker 1: holy Hannah, I'm going to be running three hospitals. Where
- 29:04Speaker 1: would I have time for that? And they said, oh,
- 29:06Speaker 1: you know, you can do a part-time on online. And
- 29:08Speaker 1: I said, I needed to find something meaningful. And with
- 29:12Speaker 1: all this in the pandemic, I was kind of like, God,
- 29:15Speaker 1: what do I do?
- 29:15Speaker 2: How am I going to go back to school?
- 29:17Speaker 1: And I've spent a lot of time with psych, a
- 29:19Speaker 1: lot of time with healing with patients. I was in
- 29:21Speaker 1: the room with the patients when we wouldn't let the
- 29:23Speaker 1: families in. And I couldn't save them all, but I
- 29:27Speaker 1: was at least there for some of them in their
- 29:28Speaker 1: darkest moments. And I chose the path of doctoral degree
- 29:33Speaker 1: in psychiatric nursing to get my psych nurse practitioner certification.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I got the certification first because I said, I'm am
- 29:40Speaker 1: never not going to be able to help someone else
- 29:43Speaker 1: because no one would prescribe me ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I asked for it three times when.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I was going into the ER, back to the ER
- 29:51Speaker 1: and back into ICU. And so that was what started
- 29:54Speaker 1: my journey. And so the ability now to help others
- 29:57Speaker 1: in such a, it's such a cool way for me
- 29:59Speaker 1: because Look at all the aftermath. Look at all the
- 30:02Speaker 1: people that struggle, the kids, the teenagers, the adults, social
- 30:05Speaker 1: anxiety from being masked up, the anxiety from everything being isolated.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So you're right.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Like if you if you follow the path, you know,
- 30:15Speaker 1: you get the reward of growing forward.
- 30:18Speaker 3: And I do.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I follow in faith and not fear. And I think
- 30:20Speaker 1: that was what was so exciting to me in talking
- 30:22Speaker 1: to you is you give me inspiration. You really took
- 30:25Speaker 1: on a lot. And I was just great, you know,
- 30:28Speaker 1: grateful to be able to hear your story and to
- 30:30Speaker 1: kind of, you know, share.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Things with you.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I think it's been great what what you've done. And,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know, I'm just a small piece of it, too.
- 30:36Speaker 1: But as each one of us does something, we're helping
- 30:39Speaker 1: the greater good. And I stand by everything I've done.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I stand by, you know, I put my story out
- 30:44Speaker 1: in a book. I think Rebel just showed it up
- 30:46Speaker 1: on the screen. But what's what's next for you? What
- 30:49Speaker 1: what's your plans as you grow this forward? You've got
- 30:52Speaker 1: the website, you've got education, you've got your podcast. How
- 30:55Speaker 1: do people find you? I wanted to know what your
- 30:58Speaker 1: how do people reach you?
- 31:01Speaker 3: So I have a book as well. Oh, yeah. It's
- 31:05Speaker 3: called Rare Courage. Rare courage for right when you're surrounded
- 31:09Speaker 3: by wrong.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Oh, I got to get it.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Yes, I actually, I was going to bring some with me,
- 31:15Speaker 4: but I didn't have, um, I didn't have any additional copies,
- 31:19Speaker 4: but I tell the story through this was outside of
- 31:24Speaker 4: my ER. So I actually, this book actually tells the
- 31:28Speaker 4: story of what I was thinking during the 2020. So
- 31:32Speaker 4: when people could come back and ask me what, well, why,
- 31:37Speaker 4: why did you feel that way?
- 31:39Speaker 3: What were you thinking? I remember being asked, do you journal?
- 31:43Speaker 3: And I said, no, I don't journal. And I said,
- 31:46Speaker 3: I barely read.
- 31:47Speaker 4: They're like, well, first of all, that's not true because
- 31:50Speaker 4: I was so researched on math and everything. So I
- 31:56Speaker 4: guess I read scientific journals and I journaled on Facebook.
- 32:01Speaker 3: That's where I journaled.
- 32:03Speaker 4: So I was able to go back to my Facebook
- 32:06Speaker 4: posts and that's how the story is guided. From February
- 32:11Speaker 4: of 2020, what I thought, what I shared, and I
- 32:14Speaker 4: tell the story of God just leading me to blow
- 32:18Speaker 4: the whistle.
- 32:18Speaker 3: So, yeah, it's Rare Courage.
- 32:21Speaker 4: And you could get it for free if you wanted
- 32:24Speaker 4: to read an electronic copy.
- 32:27Speaker 3: You can get it at RighteousRN.com. Now, what's RighteousRN?
- 32:32Speaker 2: What's RighteousRN? Is that a website?
- 32:34Speaker 3: RighteousRN is my provider website. a long-term provider, continuing education platform.
- 32:42Speaker 4: So where God called me, actually, Patty, I was going
- 32:47Speaker 4: to be a psych nurse practitioner too. Early in 2021,
- 32:52Speaker 4: I was researching schools because I knew that what we
- 32:56Speaker 4: were doing was going to create a massive amount of
- 33:00Speaker 4: psychiatric emergency during COVID.
- 33:03Speaker 3: And we were right. We knew that.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 3: And, but then I.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Lost my position, which I'm still fighting for and they
- 33:13Speaker 4: would have paid for it. You know, I was getting $ 20, 000
- 33:16Speaker 4: a year back to my student loans from them. Uh,
- 33:20Speaker 4: so it was definitely not a career I wanted to lose.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Let's put it that way. Um, but I got, uh, my,
- 33:28Speaker 3: where I'm.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Able to award CNEs continuing nursing education.
- 33:34Speaker 3: And I decided that ethics was my expertise.
- 33:39Speaker 4: And so I have that platform out so people can.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Get C & Es.
- 33:44Speaker 4: And all of your listeners on the show, if they
- 33:47Speaker 4: wanted to get a course, even if you are a
- 33:49Speaker 4: regular person, right? And you're not a nurse, you should
- 33:53Speaker 4: know what to expect of your nurses. And you could
- 33:57Speaker 4: use code RN50, RN50, RN50. We're 50% off on that site.
- 34:03Speaker 4: So I share the truth through that. And my Nurses
- 34:07Speaker 4: Out Loud podcast, that was born in 2022, the year after.
- 34:14Speaker 4: So we've been on air now for almost five years, going.
- 34:18Speaker 3: On five years.
- 34:19Speaker 1: How can people find you on your podcast? Is it
- 34:21Speaker 1: out there on like Apple or how do they find you?
- 34:23Speaker 3: Everywhere, Nurses Out Loud. It's all one word. It's all
- 34:28Speaker 3: one word. Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 1: It's on the top of our screen under Jodi's name.
- 34:33Speaker 1: It's got nurses out loud. So that's a great source
- 34:35Speaker 1: where they can hear everything. And you've got prior episodes
- 34:38Speaker 1: recorded as well.
- 34:39Speaker 3: I do. I do.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Yes.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:43Speaker 4: So it's just been, you know, not very profitable, but
- 34:48Speaker 4: we don't do this for money.
- 34:50Speaker 3: That's for sure.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But Hey, what we have is expertise and I think
- 34:55Speaker 1: helping to educate people and While it's priceless, I think
- 34:59Speaker 1: we will be gifted in the work that we do
- 35:02Speaker 1: as we go forward. You know, I really do live in.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Faith and not fear.
- 35:05Speaker 1: And, you know, now with the short sightingness of, you know,
- 35:10Speaker 1: what my path is going to be, I still have
- 35:12Speaker 1: the benefit. I'm doing telemed. It's a private business I have. But,
- 35:15Speaker 1: you know, it's a tough pill to swallow that it's
- 35:18Speaker 1: for perhaps whatever reason in a very, you know, in
- 35:21Speaker 1: the very career of mental health. that someone would take
- 35:24Speaker 1: a look and kind of strike a gavel and go, Oh.
- 35:27Speaker 2: No more, we don't need you. But you know what,
- 35:29Speaker 2: I'm not worried. I've got a plan as well.
- 35:32Speaker 3: We've got a couple questions.
- 35:33Speaker 1: And so maybe we could jump on those. And then
- 35:35Speaker 1: we'll kind of get to a few other things if
- 35:37Speaker 1: we have time. But Frank wanted to know, is there
- 35:39Speaker 1: still more that people need to know? And Hannah's asking
- 35:42Speaker 1: sort of the same thing? Is there more stuff coming?
- 35:44Speaker 1: And what do we need to look out for? Do
- 35:46Speaker 1: you want to kind of share your insight on that?
- 35:48Speaker 1: And I definitely know there's more coming and we have to,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we have to really discern, but what would you tell folks,
- 35:54Speaker 1: you know, what do we need to know and what's coming?
- 35:57Speaker 4: Well, if they're talking about what's coming next, I mean,
- 36:00Speaker 4: if you know the Bible and for me, I am
- 36:03Speaker 4: a Bible believing believer of Jesus. I don't even call
- 36:08Speaker 4: myself a Christian anymore. Although most people would identify me
- 36:12Speaker 4: as that. I just didn't like the way the Christians
- 36:16Speaker 4: in the church were handled COVID and still. Um, so
- 36:20Speaker 4: I stopped calling myself that I just say that I'm
- 36:24Speaker 4: a follower of Yeshua. And so having said that, I,
- 36:29Speaker 4: if it's not in the Bible guys, don't believe it, right?
- 36:32Speaker 4: Whatever your pastor tells you or teaches you, uh, look
- 36:36Speaker 4: for scripture to back that up. And if it's not,
- 36:39Speaker 4: then it's just this doctrine that, uh, that they just
- 36:43Speaker 4: keep pushing out that you don't need to, um, It's
- 36:47Speaker 4: like an agenda.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It's their agenda. It's their man's platform.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Exactly. What's coming?
- 36:57Speaker 4: I believe we're to expect Jesus to return.
- 37:01Speaker 3: All the signs are pointing to that.
- 37:05Speaker 4: We see that the world is just really... There's more
- 37:09Speaker 4: evil now just flooding the earth. We got everybody talking
- 37:14Speaker 4: against Israel and We know how the enemy feels about Israel.
- 37:18Speaker 3: I mean, that's where Jesus is going to come and
- 37:21Speaker 3: set his foot on Mount of Olives. And so what's coming?
- 37:26Speaker 4: I mean, again, I look at it as a believer.
- 37:29Speaker 4: I believe that we are called, we're set apart. So
- 37:33Speaker 4: even the way that the Lord is guiding us right now,
- 37:38Speaker 4: all those people that descended on Washington, guys, the vast,
- 37:42Speaker 4: vast majority are staunch believers in Jesus.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Okay. So that's really what happened.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Um, you know, the Holy spirit really came and showed
- 37:55Speaker 4: up on Capitol Hill. And that was because everybody from
- 37:59Speaker 4: all walks of life, all denominations, people were called there. And, um,
- 38:06Speaker 4: and then again, I would, I would do what we
- 38:09Speaker 4: can to keep ourselves healthy.
- 38:11Speaker 5: Uh, we, uh, you know, if it wasn't for, if
- 38:14Speaker 5: it wasn't for me knowing, you know, alternative, what we
- 38:19Speaker 5: call alternative medication, I believe I would be laid out
- 38:23Speaker 5: right now, you know, with the flu, but I'm, I'm
- 38:28Speaker 5: getting by with a runny nose and a cough.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Because I am taking off-label repurposed alternative medication. So get
- 38:38Speaker 4: to know your people, follow what the Lord is laying
- 38:43Speaker 4: on your heart for you to do. And really, I mean,
- 38:46Speaker 4: if there's a time at any time in history, the
- 38:50Speaker 4: time is right now to live in his will and
- 38:53Speaker 4: find out what that is.
- 38:55Speaker 3: So that's really what I encourage people to do.
- 38:58Speaker 2: No, that's great.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And I share with people too, only because I do
- 39:02Speaker 1: really appreciate what the FLCCC brought together.
- 39:06Speaker 2: There's a bunch of providers on that website.
- 39:08Speaker 1: There's a bunch of holistic or interventional providers that you
- 39:11Speaker 1: can get functional medicine as well. So you can get
- 39:14Speaker 1: these off-label type medications prescribed to you should you get sick.
- 39:18Speaker 1: And I think, yeah, you know, the push is on.
- 39:21Speaker 1: People are now out there. There are certain vaccines that
- 39:23Speaker 1: are coming out that they're getting. And I think we
- 39:25Speaker 1: do have to be careful because all of these types
- 39:29Speaker 1: of shots do have a shed to it and they
- 39:31Speaker 1: do proliferate different.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Types of things. It's not what I'm teaching.
- 39:36Speaker 1: It's just what I've learned and what I've listened to
- 39:38Speaker 1: from very well-educated, you know, physicians, scientists, researchers. I've had
- 39:43Speaker 1: a couple of really good scientists and researchers on And
- 39:47Speaker 1: just learning from them in some prior shows, people can
- 39:50Speaker 1: always find our show, Wellness Uncensored, back on iHeartRadio. And
- 39:54Speaker 1: you can scroll back the last four years and you
- 39:56Speaker 1: can pick snippets of things to help educate yourself going
- 39:59Speaker 1: forward with some of this work. But, you know, there's
- 40:02Speaker 1: stuff in the air, there's stuff in the food, there's
- 40:05Speaker 1: all kinds of things. I don't want people to live
- 40:07Speaker 1: in fear. But I think, you know, to your point, Jodi,
- 40:10Speaker 1: you do have to live sort of a healthy, holistic lifestyle.
- 40:14Speaker 1: We talk about those things, you know, and when the
- 40:16Speaker 1: body gets inflamed, it's a ripe host to breed an infection.
- 40:22Speaker 1: So that's why the American diet is really fueled in
- 40:26Speaker 1: a way to keep you unwell, diabetes, you know, cardiovascular disease.
- 40:31Speaker 1: But if you lean up and clean up your diet
- 40:33Speaker 1: and you decrease the inflammation, you bring in those types
- 40:36Speaker 1: of prophylactic things of some of the off-label meds, utilize
- 40:40Speaker 1: a few good supplements. I'm always on here every week
- 40:43Speaker 1: talking to people about protein and hydration. And again, to
- 40:47Speaker 1: the question of Hannah and Frank, I think, yeah, there's
- 40:50Speaker 1: always going to be something. I mean, if you really
- 40:52Speaker 1: lay into the media, you're going to see that there's
- 40:55Speaker 1: this scare and that scare. I think people need to
- 40:57Speaker 1: be calm, read it through, read between the lines, and
- 41:02Speaker 1: then stay on to some of these offline. You know,
- 41:05Speaker 1: we are certainly not out there in the masses of
- 41:08Speaker 1: some of the big major networks, and I don't think
- 41:10Speaker 1: we ever will be. But there's a lot of good
- 41:12Speaker 1: stuff you can find on Substack. You can tune into
- 41:15Speaker 1: Jodi's podcast. She's going to have great stuff. We've got
- 41:19Speaker 1: great stuff here. We're also on X. But I think
- 41:22Speaker 1: you really need to watch what do you ingest? What
- 41:24Speaker 1: do you internalize? There's some really good, again, prophylactic type
- 41:28Speaker 1: stuff that you can use to be well. And I
- 41:32Speaker 1: think folks need to kind of check those types of
- 41:34Speaker 1: things out too. And we can always help refer you
- 41:36Speaker 1: to providers across the country at Wellness Uncensored. You can
- 41:40Speaker 1: get us on Magnolia B Wellness. It's Magnolia, the letter
- 41:44Speaker 1: B wellness. It's all one word.com. Our office is 904-377-1196.
- 41:51Speaker 2: I had on Dr.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Braun and I purchased his copperine, copperine and zinc. It's
- 41:58Speaker 1: a little mister. And what you do is you just
- 42:01Speaker 1: sniff it in two to three times a day.
- 42:04Speaker 2: And if you're.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Exposed to the flu or colds or anything, it helps
- 42:08Speaker 1: to break down and destroy that bad viral load but
- 42:12Speaker 1: there's a lot of stuff there's a lot of stuff
- 42:15Speaker 1: you know it's um it's more important to take the
- 42:18Speaker 1: time to learn and educate yourself than react in fear
- 42:22Speaker 1: yeah we've got it yeah we we've got some time
- 42:26Speaker 1: left and you know um with having had some of
- 42:29Speaker 1: the questions what other things are on your mind and
- 42:32Speaker 1: on your heart that you would love to share with
- 42:34Speaker 1: our viewers we've got i don't know seven or eight
- 42:36Speaker 1: different podcasts out that we stream to And so if
- 42:39Speaker 1: there's anything that we haven't yet covered in this journey
- 42:43Speaker 1: or in future conversations, other stuff that you think would
- 42:46Speaker 1: be helpful for people to know?
- 42:49Speaker 4: Well, I think that we have to also look at
- 42:52Speaker 4: our providers, our doctors and nurses as humans. And we should,
- 42:58Speaker 4: like you said, Patty, we have to do our own research.
- 43:02Speaker 4: And I think the best we can do is not
- 43:06Speaker 4: need them.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Truly. Uh, and if you'll make sure you trust them.
- 43:11Speaker 4: So if you are on one of those people that
- 43:14Speaker 4: believes that you need to be on a statin, uh,
- 43:17Speaker 4: you know, and an omeprazole and a blood pressure medication
- 43:22Speaker 4: and a diabetes medication, and you think that that's your
- 43:27Speaker 4: life and that.
- 43:28Speaker 3: You own those diseases, I would.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Really caution you against it. I, I would not, um,
- 43:36Speaker 4: you know, so many people, even our 30 year olds
- 43:39Speaker 4: are on all of those meds. They're on an Omeprazole.
- 43:44Speaker 4: That's supposed to be short term. There is, oh, what
- 43:48Speaker 4: is the, it just escaped me. I'll have to think
- 43:52Speaker 4: about it, but they deplete vitamins and minerals and nutrients,
- 43:57Speaker 4: you know, it doesn't come without risk. So number one,
- 44:01Speaker 4: try to get off all the meds that you're on.
- 44:04Speaker 4: do something about it. Watch what you're eating, exercise, be happy.
- 44:09Speaker 4: We have a choice and the mind's going to believe
- 44:12Speaker 4: what you tell it. So if you're going to tell
- 44:15Speaker 4: yourself that you are, you know, in pain and miserable,
- 44:20Speaker 4: that that's just the life that you're going to lead.
- 44:23Speaker 4: If you fake it till you make it, which I
- 44:26Speaker 4: like to say, Even when I'm not feeling the best,
- 44:29Speaker 4: I always try to look for the positive in things
- 44:33Speaker 4: because it's impossible to be upset and angry if you're
- 44:37Speaker 4: being thankful. You cannot do both at the same time.
- 44:41Speaker 4: So really dig into that part and enjoy your life
- 44:48Speaker 4: in the world. Don't wait until you are at the
- 44:54Speaker 4: where you're, you're wanting to be in the bank account
- 44:56Speaker 4: and this and that, because you know what, your health,
- 44:59Speaker 4: your family's health can be taken in an instant. And,
- 45:03Speaker 4: you know, I try to live my life as though
- 45:06Speaker 4: it were my last, right? So take that trip, do
- 45:11Speaker 4: the trip, be around your family, get your head out
- 45:15Speaker 4: of the phone, be present with people and really, um,
- 45:19Speaker 4: try to have that interpersonal connection that we've gone away from.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I think that would probably be my biggest advice.
- 45:28Speaker 1: That is so beautiful. It's so well said, Jodi. And
- 45:31Speaker 1: it's exactly the truth, folks. I mean, think about it
- 45:34Speaker 1: for what it is. And we teach this in mental health.
- 45:37Speaker 1: It's a lot of stuff I've shared in the past
- 45:39Speaker 1: about gratitude, mindfulness. You can make or break how you
- 45:44Speaker 1: feel by what you allow into your brain. what you
- 45:47Speaker 1: allow into your day. And likewise, you can also push
- 45:50Speaker 1: out what you don't want to receive, the negativity, the fear,
- 45:54Speaker 1: the sadness. There's lots of ways to heal. And like
- 45:58Speaker 1: Jodi said, a diagnosis does not define you. I have
- 46:03Speaker 1: people coming in, I'll play on my favorite one, attention deficit.
- 46:07Speaker 1: I could tell you a million times why I'm sure
- 46:09Speaker 1: I have attention deficit, but it doesn't.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Define me Right. We have to have.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Attention deficit with all the things that we do and
- 46:16Speaker 1: all the things we have to do. We just can
- 46:18Speaker 1: never catch up. But when you define yourself as I'm diabetic, oh,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I'm a heart failure.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Oh, I've got this.
- 46:23Speaker 2: You know, why don't you look.
- 46:25Speaker 1: At how you can improve yourself? And you can. I've
- 46:29Speaker 1: seen so many people that take the time to either
- 46:32Speaker 1: work with myself as an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner. This
- 46:36Speaker 1: has been the most rewarding career I've had far beyond
- 46:39Speaker 1: what I thought I was doing as a nurse leader.
- 46:41Speaker 1: because I really get in there and help to make
- 46:43Speaker 1: people better, better that they don't really require a lot
- 46:47Speaker 1: of medical treatment, because we fix the soul, we fix
- 46:50Speaker 1: the brain. And, you know, I tell people, the brain
- 46:53Speaker 1: is your motherboard. And if we can help to reprogram
- 46:55Speaker 1: the motherboard and really make it healthy and whole and positive,
- 46:59Speaker 1: you're going to be a whole lot better and things
- 47:01Speaker 1: will heal trauma we talk about. And to Jodi, your point,
- 47:05Speaker 1: when you manifest things, and you've had all this trauma
- 47:08Speaker 1: in your life and pain and sorrow and anxiety and
- 47:11Speaker 1: whatever traumatic things have happened. You guys all need to
- 47:14Speaker 1: read the book, The Body Keeps Score, because it manifests
- 47:17Speaker 1: with anxiety, physical ailments, back pain, hip pain. So it's
- 47:22Speaker 1: really true what Jodi's just shared. You know, we've got
- 47:25Speaker 1: to live each day with positivity, gratitude, and then take
- 47:28Speaker 1: the steps to fuel your body. I want to give
- 47:31Speaker 1: you last opportunity to Jodi, let's tell folks how they
- 47:34Speaker 1: can reach you.
- 47:35Speaker 2: And then I'll close this out for today.
- 47:37Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. JodiOmalleyRN.com. That's J-O-D-I-O-M-A-L-L-E-Y-R-N.com. NursesOutloud.com. RighteousRN.com. Say, look, I
- 47:51Speaker 4: got a bunch of dot coms.

- 47:59Speaker 3: all of it. And I will just say, truly, truly.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Your eyes need to be pointed up and expect uh,
- 48:07Speaker 4: Jesus to come at any moment, uh, live as though
- 48:11Speaker 4: it's your last day.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Uh, don't be fearful.
- 48:14Speaker 4: And please, please help us stand up and speak and
- 48:18Speaker 4: share and like, and comment the shows, you know, Dr.
- 48:23Speaker 4: Patty shows you need to, you guys are regular listeners.

- 48:30Speaker 4: it up in the algorithm.
- 48:31Speaker 3: And thank you, Patty.
