- 0:25Speaker 2: read my thing that must go on the radio, it'll
- 0:28Speaker 2: it'll make me feel better. Maybe it'll make these things
- 0:31Speaker 2: disappear from your life. Could happen. So send your must
- 0:34Speaker 2: goes to Radio from Hell at x ninety six dot
- 0:36Speaker 2: com and put Musco on the subject line and we'll
- 0:39Speaker 2: get to them. You want to go first, carry oh, okay.
- 0:43Speaker 1: First one from Chris the term breakfast cereal must go breakfast.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's an unnecessary qualifier. It's just cereal. You can have
- 0:54Speaker 1: it anytime.
- 0:55Speaker 2: That's true.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I have eaten at all times of the day.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You don't go around saying I could really go for
- 1:00Speaker 1: some dinner steak. I like that one. This one from
- 1:07Speaker 1: zaying things that must go Newer vehicles that don't have
- 1:11Speaker 1: automatic seats, seats should be a standard feature, like a
- 1:15Speaker 1: backup camera too. When you open your phone and wanted
- 1:19Speaker 1: to use a specific app, and then once your phone
- 1:21Speaker 1: is open, you've forgotten what you were going to do.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Videos that have captions with incorrect spelling of some of
- 1:29Speaker 1: the words.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Earth is spelled.
- 1:31Speaker 1: E A R t H, not E A R far.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I mean unus.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Uh. With all the technology we have today, why isn't
- 1:43Speaker 1: there a toaster that I can see through?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Oh that's interesting.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I would like to not burn my toast when a
- 1:48Speaker 1: timer feature doesn't work.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Uh, toaster, toaster, Yeah, I have a toaster, rob.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:55Speaker 1: And don't forget to ask doctor Cobble about how I
- 1:57Speaker 1: get my fart unstuck.
- 2:00Speaker 3: As Yeah, we have Doctor Davis.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Today, we have the veterinarian Timbo just returned from Iceland,
- 2:06Speaker 1: the land of Fire and Ice and midnight Sun. What
- 2:09Speaker 1: must go is people who stand right next to the
- 2:11Speaker 1: baggage claim carousel at the airport. On arriving at your destination,
- 2:15Speaker 1: you go to the baggage claim carousel and people are
- 2:17Speaker 1: clustered around it even before the bags start coming out.
- 2:20Speaker 1: There should be a line on the ground stating to
- 2:23Speaker 1: stay behind the line until you see your bag come out.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Standing next to the carousel is not going to make
- 2:28Speaker 1: your bag show up sooner, just like pushing the upper
- 2:30Speaker 1: down button on an elevator won't make it arrive sooner.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's a huge nuisance to have to make my way
- 2:36Speaker 1: through a throng of people like a Ratina aze just
- 2:38Speaker 1: to get my baggage when it comes out. Thanks for
- 2:40Speaker 1: letting me rant.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Got it. That's it, I'll go next. I've got one
- 2:44Speaker 2: of my own workplace courtesy.
- 2:47Speaker 3: It must go. No.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh, The topic is workplace. If you have a workstation
- 2:56Speaker 2: that only you use, yes, you can probably just leave
- 3:00Speaker 2: it however you like. But if there's a shared workstation
- 3:05Speaker 2: like a i don't know, like a radio studio perhaps
- 3:09Speaker 2: maybe studio like this where many people share it, it
- 3:14Speaker 2: is only courtesy to put things back the way you
- 3:19Speaker 2: found them. For instance, if you unplug something to use
- 3:26Speaker 2: the outlet, make sure that you when you are done
- 3:30Speaker 2: using that outlet, you plug whatever you unplugged back in,
- 3:34Speaker 2: because that's some other piece of equipment or something that
- 3:38Speaker 2: people need. Nick Davis, I'm talking to you all right.
- 3:43Speaker 2: This one says owners sitting in idling trucks with the
- 3:47Speaker 2: AC on for long periods of time when you're just
- 3:50Speaker 2: parked next to these jerks just trying to have a
- 3:53Speaker 2: quiet ice cream in your car.
- 3:55Speaker 3: A quiet ice cream.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Then this one says, leave a headlights on when your
- 4:01Speaker 2: damn truck warms up or you load it up with
- 4:03Speaker 2: all your crap. Oh, you're leaving the headlights on when
- 4:06Speaker 2: you're doing it. People who pull up to outside seating
- 4:12Speaker 2: areas and leave their headlights on, blasting in your eyes.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Dogs left in cars that bark at you when you
- 4:20Speaker 2: come back to your own car. And finally, my neighbor's
- 4:23Speaker 2: relatives parking in our parking lot instead of the street.
- 4:28Speaker 2: That must go, Thanks Joel. This one says, feel free
- 4:32Speaker 2: to use my name happy. No, I'm not gonna say
- 4:34Speaker 2: a happy hump day. Will not say.
- 4:36Speaker 3: That that's something that must go.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah it is. That's one of the early things that
- 4:40Speaker 2: must go. A couple of quick things. People please stop
- 4:43Speaker 2: saying full word. There's an R in there. It's forward.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I know it's nitpicky, but it makes me almost as
- 4:50Speaker 2: crazy as hearing somebody say familiar familiar. It's familiar, not
- 4:55Speaker 2: familiar familiar. And when traffic is backed up, you please
- 4:59Speaker 2: not leave your three car lengths between yourself and the
- 5:01Speaker 2: car ahead of you. I find myself trying to squeeze
- 5:04Speaker 2: past the car so I can get into the left
- 5:06Speaker 2: turn lane, only to find it's because the driver left
- 5:09Speaker 2: a full car length or more in front when they
- 5:12Speaker 2: could have made room for me. Thanks for making my
- 5:15Speaker 2: mornings brighter. Don't ever leave us. You give me ulcers
- 5:19Speaker 2: every time you stop talking about contracts for that's scary
- 5:23Speaker 2: week or two.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well, I can talk about it.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's not like you know, Brent, or I would just
- 5:28Speaker 2: say we can't. We don't really talk about contracts because
- 5:31Speaker 2: we don't have one, not right now.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we right out of contract, all right, Gina. This
- 5:36Speaker 3: is from our friend Lisebrarian. Accidental drownings must go. She
- 5:40Speaker 3: mentions a couple of them here. One of them is
- 5:44Speaker 3: Chase Childers, former Georgia police officer and Major League Baseball player.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Childers dove in to save a struggling family. He succeeded,
- 5:52Speaker 3: but he lost his life in the process. Witnessed by
- 5:56Speaker 3: families of the victims. The Childer's widow had to do
- 6:00Speaker 3: so go fund me to be able to take care
- 6:01Speaker 3: of her family. Please pay our police officers a living wage.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Insomnia and imposter syndrome please brain, just stop it. Anxiety,
- 6:10Speaker 3: screw your negative comments in my head and private holiday
- 6:14Speaker 3: fireworks before and after the provided days after curfews. It's
- 6:18Speaker 3: great for you you don't have to work the day
- 6:19Speaker 3: after the holiday, but some of the rest of us do.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Please Magic box, by the power vested by the lords
- 6:25Speaker 3: of morning Radio, please make these thing go like librarian.
- 6:29Speaker 3: This from Sherry. My thing that must go is my
- 6:32Speaker 3: son having an autoimmune disease. Every time he begins to
- 6:35Speaker 3: feel better, he ends up having something new happening. Today
- 6:38Speaker 3: he had surgery for an issue that isn't caused by
- 6:40Speaker 3: the disease. Will he ever catch a break? When he
- 6:43Speaker 3: was in high school, it was the pandemic. He completed
- 6:45Speaker 3: one year of college before getting diagnosed. I'm worried he's
- 6:48Speaker 3: going to lose his job for missing work. He's got
- 6:50Speaker 3: a lot going on.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Please make this go a ways.
- 6:54Speaker 3: And finally, this from Austin. Vacation renolds and hotels that
- 6:58Speaker 3: don't have enough towel hooks for the number of guests
- 7:01Speaker 3: that are staying there. If it accommodates ten guests, there
- 7:05Speaker 3: might be only four towel hooks. So now we're hanging
- 7:08Speaker 3: them on doors. And chairs and wherever else we can
- 7:11Speaker 3: find a hold towel. Also, I'm in text groups for
- 7:14Speaker 3: my kids' soccer teams. Often a parent can't take their
- 7:17Speaker 3: kid to practice, so they'll ask the group if someone
- 7:20Speaker 3: can pick up their kid. What must go is when
- 7:22Speaker 3: a parent responds, and then they use the group text
- 7:24Speaker 3: to coordinate the pickup. We all get too many texts.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Can't you take that private and not include all of
- 7:30Speaker 3: us in all of your arranging? Thanks Austin.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Thanks that must go on the radio
- 7:42Speaker 3: Show.
