- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody. As you know, mostly my show has been
- 0:05live lately with questions and answers from all of you.
- 0:09But every once in a while, I like to bring
- 0:11on a very special guest. I never know who's going
- 0:14to pop onto my radar, but when I find them,
- 0:16I know this is the one. And that's the case
- 0:19with today's guest. I'm going to introduce you to somebody
- 0:21you may already know, but perhaps not in the light
- 0:25we're sharing today. I'm going to bring her on now,
- 0:27then we'll talk about her so she's not sitting back there.
- 0:30twiddling her thumbs. Our guest is Stephanie Kramer. Stephanie, welcome
- 0:34to the show.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Hi, thank you for having me. Thank you. I'm happy
- 0:38to be here. You are welcome.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Well, everybody, I got to know Stephanie because she reached
- 0:43out about interviewing me for her podcast, The Other Side.
- 0:48And as you will feel, if you can't feel it already,
- 0:50she just has this beautiful energy about her. And we
- 0:54just clicked, which is called Coming Into Resonance. And I
- 0:57said to her at the end, well, that was a
- 0:59great interview, but I want to interview you for my show,
- 1:02because this is a woman who really gets what the
- 1:06awakened way is all about, even if she never put
- 1:08it in those terms. I know she knows we're not
- 1:11only human, and I know she knows we're all connected
- 1:14by one big web, and that love is the basis
- 1:18of all that is, and that's the awakened way. But
- 1:20let me tell you a little bit about Stephanie that
- 1:22you may say, oh my gosh, yeah, now I know
- 1:25who she is. She's perhaps most well-known for playing Sergeant D.D.
- 1:31McCall on the hit show Hunter. That started in 1984.
- 1:35I was deeply immersed in my Navy career then, Stephanie,
- 1:38so I actually don't know the show at all. That's okay.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It's on reruns everywhere.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so I hear it's really popular in China. Is
- 1:46that right?
- 1:47Speaker 2: It was huge in China. It still is. They invited
- 1:50me just last year, and it was so humbling because
- 1:55they were honoring me from way back because when they
- 1:59opened up their country to receive any television whatsoever, they
- 2:02only chose two programs and one was Hunter. So it
- 2:06became this national phenomenon culturally through everybody. It was just,
- 2:11it was really amazing. Wow, that's awesome.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Well, you became a national phenomenon because you were this beautiful,
- 2:18powerful female police sergeant at a time when that wasn't
- 2:21focused upon on TV, right?
- 2:24Speaker 2: That is correct. Yeah, they didn't have, generally speaking, I
- 2:29was a character that was a woman who held her
- 2:32own alongside this man. And it wasn't, I was a
- 2:37subversive to him or what should we do? We're crying
- 2:40in the corner. You know, no. It was, it was,
- 2:45it was a wonderful opportunity.
- 2:47Speaker 1: All right. And then when I read through the list
- 2:50of other shows you were on, oh, my gosh, everybody,
- 2:51you're ready to be just catapulted back to the past.
- 2:55Listen to some of these shows that she's been on.
- 2:58Guest starred on Starsky & Hutch, Dynasty, Knotts Landing, Bosom Buddies, CSI, NCIS, 9-1-1,
- 3:06and others.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Boy, is that a flash to the past.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It is for me, too.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And then I understand you started... a second career as
- 3:16a professional singer and songwriter.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Actually, I always was. I always was. I started in
- 3:22musical theater when I was, you know, started in high school. Briefly,
- 3:28when I graduated, I wound up auditioning and getting cast
- 3:31as Maria in West Side Story, the Valley Institute of
- 3:34Musical Theater out here in L.A., which is no longer here.
- 3:37But opening night was my 18th birthday. And I was
- 3:40trained as a legit mezzo-soprano. And the board of directors
- 3:45of the academy, which is where I wound up going
- 3:47to school, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, said, we've
- 3:49got to go to New York. And I was like,
- 3:52I think I'm going to stay in L.A. and join
- 3:54a rock and roll band and have some fun. But,
- 3:57you know, that's what I did. And I wound up
- 4:00singing four sets a night, five nights a week in
- 4:03clubs all over California. And at the same time, auditioning
- 4:07and starting to build my resume, working in television. And
- 4:10I told my agents, one of them is going to
- 4:12take off. Whichever one that is, I'm going to go with.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It turned out to be television. Okay.
- 4:19Speaker 1: So that's your backstory. But I want your current story
- 4:22and what led to it. Because I can tell you've
- 4:25had experiences, and we discussed a few when we were
- 4:28chatting after you interviewed me, about some spiritually transformative experiences
- 4:33you've had. And so what led you to host the
- 4:38Other Side podcast?
- 4:40Speaker 2: It's just like... Natural for me to do that. You know,
- 4:47I listen to, as many people do, on YouTube or
- 4:51read books, spiritual books, higher learning, whatever you want to
- 4:55call it, the esoteric sciences. And I've always resonated with
- 4:58that ever since I was about seven years old. So
- 5:02when I was a little child, my mom had one,
- 5:07maybe two books on Edgar Cayce.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Oh, sure. Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 2: And I remember being seven years old and opening that
- 5:14book and reading it and going, yes, well, yes, of course. Oh,
- 5:19I love that. It was sort of like a remembrance.
- 5:22You know, not like, I don't understand, this doesn't make sense,
- 5:24or this is weird. It felt totally natural to me.
- 5:28She also had this very old book called Phantasms of
- 5:31the Living that dealt with a lot of documented cases
- 5:35of paranormal and supernatural things. And in reading that, it felt... Well, yes,
- 5:42of course.
- 5:43Speaker 1: See, at seven years old, that's amazing. And no wonder
- 5:46you felt that way because you hadn't built up this
- 5:49materialist story yet and turned your focus outward. You were
- 5:52still aware of who you are. Yes.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And I also started, honestly, getting visits from people that
- 6:00passed over when I was a child. Oh, see, we
- 6:03love these stories. You don't love them when you're seven, though.
- 6:07They kind of freak you out.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Okay, so can you remember
- 6:12any in particular and how you reacted and if you
- 6:14shared it, that kind of thing?
- 6:17Speaker 2: There's a lot, but I can tell you, for example,
- 6:20this is one that's probably common with a lot of people,
- 6:23I would think, is my father died when I was 12.
- 6:28And shortly after his death, he basically stayed in the house.
- 6:34I'm sure his soul was shocked at having to suddenly
- 6:38depart so quickly. And he left behind a young mother
- 6:42and a 12 and a 13-year-old. And I think that
- 6:46was his intention. You know, I'm not ready to go.
- 6:48What do I do with my family? I think a
- 6:50lot of souls do that before they truly then disengage,
- 6:54at least for a period of time.
- 6:56Speaker 1: May I interrupt here a second? Because I have a
- 7:00bit of a different perspective on that, that they absolutely
- 7:03hang around, and yet their soul is fully aware that
- 7:06There's nowhere to be but here in awareness, which would
- 7:09include across the veil and here.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So I actually don't feel that souls are stuck. It's
- 7:14a choice. And you can use that word, but a
- 7:17lot of people go to fear, Stephanie. I know this
- 7:20when they hear that.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And that was a choice your dad made, but his
- 7:22soul was perfectly fine in allowing him to hang out
- 7:25with all of you.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Absolutely. And I agree with you 100%. He wasn't stuck.
- 7:29He was just bouncing back and forth across the veil.
- 7:33But when he was alive, we had one of those
- 7:36old low to the, you know, those mid-century stereo cabinets.
- 7:42Remember those big old record player things? Oh, we had one.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Right?
- 7:46Speaker 2: A dozen knobs. So he's always getting irritated. Turn off
- 7:53the power switch. Turn off the power. And we'd always
- 7:56forget because we were kids. So shortly after his death,
- 8:00my brother and I were in the living room doing something.
- 8:02And all of a sudden we heard click. And we thought,
- 8:05that's the power. And we looked and we watched every
- 8:07single knob all the way down from right to left
- 8:10turn off. And I went, oh, it's dad. Oh, that's
- 8:13a good one. That's not just the radio came on, right?
- 8:16You saw the movement.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And it didn't scare me. I just said, oh, sorry, dad.
- 8:21We'll try to remember because I knew it was him.
- 8:23I was never frightened by it. And I heard him.
- 8:27He used to walk around and lock the doors at
- 8:28night after we'd go to sleep. And I would lay
- 8:31there and I'd hear him. He'd walk front door, he'd
- 8:33go around, he'd knock. He also would knock on the
- 8:36front door a lot. But he would go and walk
- 8:39around the house and I'd hear his footsteps on the
- 8:41wooden floor and it would come down the hallway and
- 8:44come into my bedroom and he would sit on the
- 8:46end of my bed and the bed would go poof
- 8:49where he was seated. And so I knew it was him.
- 8:51And I just thanked him for being there and that
- 8:55he was loved and he was missed and whatever else
- 8:58I said. I don't know.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Did you share that with your mom?
- 9:02Speaker 2: I believe I did at the time. Yeah, I believe
- 9:05I did at the time.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I imagine she would be open to that if she
- 9:08had those books you mentioned around the house.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yes, yes. But she also, I mean, she was in
- 9:14a great deal of grief at the time and a
- 9:16lot of stress. But I always thought that was kind
- 9:20of interesting. And boy, there's so many. I mean, I
- 9:24used to go hiking up in the Santa Susana Mountains,
- 9:29which is out in the mountains. Chatsworth area, big rocky
- 9:34caves and stuff. And, um, I spent a lot of
- 9:38time on weekends, just, you know, you drop your kid
- 9:40off at 10 and you pick them up at five
- 9:42and they would just rum ramble around in these rocks.
- 9:45And I was just, that was when you could do that. Um, and, um,
- 9:51I was coming around a path that I knew very
- 9:53well toward a cave. I was going to with my
- 9:56friend who was behind me and, uh, I came around,
- 10:01you know, you're in the middle of nowhere. I came
- 10:03around and I got that kinesthetic response that the energy
- 10:08field had moved, had shifted. And I was now in
- 10:11a different energy. And I used to that as a child,
- 10:14but I didn't know. Now it was, oh, what's going
- 10:17to happen? Who's here? What's this? And I stopped waiting
- 10:22and I looked and above, beyond me in the path,
- 10:25was a woman holding the hand of a little girl.
- 10:29And she was dressed in like 1860, you know, black collared,
- 10:35big poofy sleeves, long dress. And she was holding the
- 10:39hand of this little child walking up the path. And
- 10:42there's nothing out there. And I looked at her and
- 10:45they stopped and she turned around and just.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Looked at me.
- 10:47Speaker 2: So this is full objective.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Right in front of you. Right. Not transparent. And I
- 10:53just looked at her. And I just was like, hi.
- 10:59And she went around. She walked and went around the corner.
- 11:02And I ran after her. You know, I was like,
- 11:04wait a minute.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Wait, wait, wait.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm going to talk to you. But she was gone.
- 11:09There was nothing there. Not in this dimension anyway. Yes,
- 11:13that's right. I've always had veils sort of open up.
- 11:17for me ever since I was a kid. So that
- 11:20has continued then. That didn't stop at age 11 or
- 11:2312 like it does for many. No, it didn't stop
- 11:26at all. Yeah, I have a lifetime of, wow, am
- 11:29I the only person that sees?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Wow, I love that. I love that. It's been interesting.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Have you ever been used by spirit to deliver a
- 11:38message to someone else from somebody who passed? Yes.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Can you remember any worth sharing? Yeah. Uh, let's see,
- 11:49which one should I choose? Um, wow. There was a
- 11:55gentleman who's a dear friend of mine and we were
- 11:57working on a script together. We, we, we write together and, uh,
- 12:02I had not seen his brother and his brother's wife
- 12:05in quite some time. And he's like, oh, come on,
- 12:07let's go back and, you know, have lunch with them.
- 12:09It'll be fun. And, you know, went over to their
- 12:12home and on like that Saturday and we all had
- 12:15lunch together. It was really nice.
- 12:17Speaker 1: It was great.
- 12:17Speaker 2: It was like, I've known him since he was 18.
- 12:20So it was really catching up kind of thing. And
- 12:24then on Monday morning we were back writing and he said,
- 12:29so wasn't it nice to see him? I go, yeah.
- 12:32And he, he mentioned that his brother had not been
- 12:35feeling well. And I said, yeah. And I knew, and he,
- 12:42He knows me and he knows my abilities and the gifts.
- 12:45And so he's like, what'd you get? And I said,
- 12:50I'd rather not tell you. And he goes, no, I
- 12:52really want you to. I said, I really don't want
- 12:55to share the information. He said, please tell me. I said, okay.
- 13:01And this was, we saw him in March. And I said,
- 13:04he'll be dead in three years in March. And I
- 13:09think it's cancer. And it was. And he was dead
- 13:12three years later in March.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 13:15Speaker 2: And now some people don't want to hear that. But
- 13:17I said, the reason you're getting the information is now
- 13:20you have the opportunity to help him and his wife
- 13:23to prepare. That's right. Get all the state in order,
- 13:27because there was a lot about that. Get the family
- 13:30prepared energetically. That sort of thing.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's very interesting because I tell my students, don't ever
- 13:37tell somebody you see they're going to die. And yet
- 13:39there are always exceptions. And I love how you handled that.
- 13:44You really made sure that he wanted to hear. He's
- 13:47the one that insisted with you. And the most important
- 13:50thing is you were sure. A lot of times people
- 13:54get random information and then they share it. And it
- 13:56can be very damaging.
- 13:57Speaker 2: No, my ex-husband knew. that would come up every once
- 14:06in a while and say, hey, I got a message
- 14:08about blah, blah, blah. He was bringing some fellow into
- 14:12his company and said, I want you to meet him
- 14:15and tell me what you think.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I was like, okay.
- 14:19Speaker 2: So we met briefly. It was, I don't know, a
- 14:2310-minute conversation in the lobby, you know, kind of a thing.
- 14:27And he left. And my then-husband looks at me and goes,
- 14:31what do you think? I go, don't hire him.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 2: And he goes, why?
- 14:37Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm all ready to give him a position. I said, uh,
- 14:43he's a drug addict and he's going to try to
- 14:46ruin your business and he's going to steal money from you.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Wow.
- 14:49Speaker 2: And he's like, well, you got all that. I said,
- 14:52just don't hire him. Of course he did hire him.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I was going to say, I'll bet he did. And then.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Every single one of those things happened in approximately 18
- 15:00months later. Oh my goodness. And I'm like, I hate
- 15:04to say I told you so, but if you ask me,
- 15:06I'll tell you. If you want to know, don't ask.
- 15:09That's right.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Clearly, you're very tuned in, and we could just call
- 15:13that intuition. It's just being aware of the connection that's
- 15:16always here with us with higher consciousness. How did that
- 15:20help you in either of your two careers? Well, it
- 15:24certainly helped me in regards to being able to deal
- 15:28with certain talent that I had to deal with. You know,
- 15:33I mean, when you work on a show for seven
- 15:35years or six years or whatever it was, I don't
- 15:39know anymore. You know, there's hundreds of people that come through.
- 15:44And like you, like many people, you can feel somebody's resonance.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 2: You feel that energy before it even comes in the room.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 15:54Speaker 2: And then if it comes in and it's a wonderful energy,
- 15:57you're like, you know, you open up. This is great. Or,
- 16:00you know, you get a name. Some actor you don't
- 16:03even know, but you can tell from the name and
- 16:06you think, oh, this is going to be a difficult week.
- 16:10I can sense that. And inevitably, it wasn't me projecting
- 16:14onto it or expecting that. It was just being shown. Yeah,
- 16:18it's an energy thing. It is an energy. It's all energy.
- 16:21So you know how to deal with that in a
- 16:23certain way. Actually, it was six years on Hunter. I
- 16:27knew that I was going to leave after six years,
- 16:30even though my contract wasn't over. Because I had been
- 16:34told and knew that I was going to get married
- 16:36and have a child. And I was like, yes, that's
- 16:40the next direction for my life. And I can't do
- 16:43that at the level and the depth and quality that
- 16:46I wanted to offer my marriage and my child if
- 16:49I was working 80, 90, 100 hours a week. And
- 16:53press tours on weekends and stuff. It's like, no. It's
- 16:57time for me to make this shift. And thank you
- 16:59for telling me. Very much. Thank you. And I knew.
- 17:03When I got on a plane going to this other
- 17:05place out of state, before I even left, I went, oh,
- 17:09I'm going to meet my husband this weekend. Thank you. Oh,
- 17:12no kidding. And I did.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Tell me about that moment. Did you know this is
- 17:16the guy intuitively? Was it like a soul thing or
- 17:18did it unfold later?
- 17:21Speaker 2: It wasn't later. It was very fast. It was very fast.
- 17:26I remember looking at him and going, oh, okay. that's
- 17:32what it felt like. And then when we got to
- 17:35where we were, a group of us, he and I
- 17:37just sort of walked away from the group and hung
- 17:41out the whole time, had a wonderful time. And maybe
- 17:45two weeks later, we took a road trip. And when
- 17:48I got back from that road trip, I was like, yeah,
- 17:51I'm marrying this man. How about that? But you knew
- 17:54it in advance. I love that. Soul plan there.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It is.
- 17:59Speaker 2: It was a soul plan. I mean, we're no longer married,
- 18:01but It was a soul plan. And I knew that
- 18:05my daughter wanted in.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I was going to say. It led
- 18:09to her soul's plan.
- 18:11Speaker 2: That's right. And I knew the dates. And I said, oh,
- 18:16we got to get moving on this now because she
- 18:19wants out. And practicing is fun. But that was something
- 18:24I used to be able to do pretty well. I
- 18:25haven't done it in a long time. Maybe it's because
- 18:28I don't see that many pregnant women anymore, but I
- 18:30used to be able to Occasionally I still do see
- 18:34somebody who's pregnant and I can tell them if it's
- 18:36a boy or a girl and give them the due date. Oh,
- 18:38that's really cool. Or within 24 hours.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow. So how about motherhood and your spiritual path?
- 18:47Did that change things for you in any discernible way?
- 18:51Motherhood is a spiritual path.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh, I love that. And it was the most profound, uh,
- 19:00And is the most profound thing I've ever done with
- 19:04my life. And it's the most fulfilling thing I've ever
- 19:06done in my life. It's being a mother. Truly.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Define profound in the spiritual. Oh, just the depth of joy.
- 19:15The depth of fulfillment for my soul. The awe of
- 19:23being able to have the gift of this little person
- 19:27and watch them grow and change and see the world
- 19:31and help to guide them from a hopefully unloving, you know,
- 19:37with kindness and love and unconditional love and just watch
- 19:42this soul blossom into a human that you can enjoy
- 19:47and love as an adult. It is it's great.
- 19:52Speaker 2: It's just great. And She's quite gifted, too, although I
- 19:56can't talk about her experience.
- 19:58Speaker 1: No, I was going to ask, is she also intuitive?
- 20:00Has she seen spirits? If you don't mind going there,
- 20:03if she doesn't mind you saying. I didn't ask her
- 20:05about that, so I can't tell about her experiences.
- 20:08Speaker 2: But, yes, she's quite gifted as well.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 2: She is. She's very involved. I will share this one
- 20:15story about her that is already known, so I'm not
- 20:18speaking out of turn, Lily. She was. 22 months old.
- 20:28And I was in her little toddler bed reading her
- 20:32whatever book I was reading. And I'm reading like a Dr.
- 20:38Seuss thing or something. And all of a sudden.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I was going to say it was Dr. Seuss.
- 20:43Speaker 2: I think you're right. It was probably Green Eggs and
- 20:45Ham or something. Which, by the way, I still have.
- 20:50And so... And I'm reading it and all of a
- 20:53sudden she says... Now, my daughter has, I think, seven
- 20:59planets in Scorpio. So she's a very intense human. And
- 21:04she gets this look. And she's sitting there and all
- 21:07of a sudden she looks at me and she says, Mommy.
- 21:10By the way, extremely verbal, very advanced communicative skills.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Yeah, 22 months.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Okay, I'm ready.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 2: And she says, Mommy. I'm like, yeah. She says, I
- 21:21have something very important to tell you. I said, okay. okay.
- 21:26And she takes her hands, little tiny baby hands, and
- 21:29she puts it on the book that I'm holding and
- 21:31she pushes the book down and she leans into me
- 21:36and she says, are you listening? I've never done that
- 21:40to her. And I'm like, yeah. And she takes her
- 21:43hand and she puts it right here on my chest
- 21:46and she starts tapping my heart. And she says, mommy,
- 21:50it's important that, ah, You know and love God in
- 21:55your heart and remember that he is with you always.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Wow.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And I was like, I said, yeah, honey, you're right.
- 22:05And yes, I do. So, yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Wow.
- 22:10Speaker 2: She's pretty exceptional. That's awesome. She got it.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And she chose you. Pretty cool.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yay, thank you.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yay. Wow. So she learned that lesson very early.
- 22:25Speaker 2: She sure did.
- 22:28Speaker 1: What spiritual lesson did it take you decades to learn?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Well, I don't know if I've necessarily
- 22:35learned it. We're all still works in progress. Yeah, I'm
- 22:41still evolving and learning. You know, get out of your
- 22:44own way. Stop listening to the voice in your head,
- 22:47that one, that every once in a while creeps in
- 22:50and goes, and you're like, You know, the ego.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I would imagine that would be very challenging working in Hollywood.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, though, I always felt like, I remember
- 23:07hearing something that Sam Neill had said. He's recently passed.
- 23:11I was a big fan of his. I'm paraphrasing now,
- 23:15but I completely agreed with it. And that's how I lived.
- 23:18I said, it's what I do. It's not who I am.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 23:22Speaker 2: And there's a difference. I've talked to a lot of people,
- 23:25you know, actors and well-known people, and they go, well, no,
- 23:29I'm an actor. That's who I am. And I'm like, no, no,
- 23:32that's what you do. Who are you? Who are you?
- 23:38And it couldn't differentiate. For me, it was always a
- 23:41clean delineation.
- 23:43Speaker 1: And who are you, Stephanie? Who were you then and
- 23:45who are you now?
- 23:48Speaker 2: I'm a woman who is very grateful. to be here,
- 23:54who just takes, I try to take joy in everything
- 24:02I do and see the beauty in everything. There's so much,
- 24:06even amidst all the turmoil and everything's going on in life,
- 24:11there is such profound beauty here, I think. And I
- 24:17see it every day. I walk five miles a day
- 24:19and I go out and I will just stop and
- 24:21be transfixed by whatever, a flower, a bird. And people
- 24:26are like, what are you doing? And I'm like, look.
- 24:30That's great. You know, it's everywhere. The sky or the
- 24:33more natural beauty is what I resonate to. I really
- 24:37love nature. But I'm a soul in progress of learning.
- 24:43And my intention is to through my work, through my life,
- 24:48through my being and relationships, and just by being here
- 24:54to raise my consciousness to the highest level of vibration
- 24:57that I can, the highest level of love and light,
- 25:01and that that resonance is my duty here to be
- 25:08embodied and then to hopefully share it with other people
- 25:13and whomever it is that is to Resonate with my
- 25:17energy and that light, whoever recognizes it. You know, I
- 25:21can't change everybody. You can't fix the world kind of
- 25:24a thing. Start with you. Because since you, me, all
- 25:29human beings, all life is interconnected. We are all one
- 25:33from the one source, from the one being, from God.
- 25:36I call it God. And there's no separation. There's never
- 25:43been a separation. people think there is. And I think
- 25:49all religions at some level, except for perhaps Native American belief,
- 25:54has said, these are the rules. This is the book.
- 25:58This is the ideology. Here's the dogma. It fits right
- 26:01here in this box. And this is how it works.
- 26:04And if you want to reach to the higher level
- 26:07of spirit, you got to go talk to me, or
- 26:10you got to go talk to him, or you got
- 26:12to say these words and talk to her. Otherwise, it
- 26:14ain't going to work. And I'm not here to judge
- 26:17anyone's religion. But that's not been how I live my life.
- 26:23You can have connection with spirit. You don't have to
- 26:27go into somebody else and say, will you do this
- 26:30for me? I mean, we all need help. And we
- 26:34can all go to someone and say, can you help
- 26:35me to achieve this? But, you know, for my life,
- 26:39I am a spiritual being in a human body. And
- 26:47my body isn't me.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Did you have to unlearn any religion without naming it?
- 27:06Speaker 2: I wasn't raised with any religion.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I wasn't raised with any religion at all.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Did you have any favorite... Did you read much
- 27:15about spiritual things or have any favorite authors?
- 27:18Speaker 2: Probably changed over the years. Golly, I could pick this
- 27:22up and take you up to show you my bookcase.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I know what it would look like.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet you do. You know, for me, it was...
- 27:29It's funny.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I always.
- 27:32Speaker 2: And I know this is from another life. I always...
- 27:36I do believe in reincarnation. Otherwise, I wouldn't have said that.
- 27:40But there's... even as a little kid, whenever the television
- 27:47or something in a magazine would show a cross or
- 27:51a church, I would get charged. Never told anybody, but
- 27:58I would get a real like, oh boy, I want
- 28:01to go in there. You know, it's like, oh, I feel,
- 28:05I can't wait to go in there. And my family
- 28:07never went there. And so when I got old enough,
- 28:12And started, like, I'd park in front of some, you know,
- 28:15like a Catholic church, a big cathedral. And I'd walk
- 28:18in and I'd be like, wow. And I still do that.
- 28:26That's beautiful. So much in the power of prayer or
- 28:30whatever word you want to call it. Power of intention, manifested, focused, energetic, vibration,
- 28:37you know, whatever word you want to give it. I
- 28:39don't really care. Just do it. I am guided by
- 28:45my higher self, by what I call God, by my angels,
- 28:50by my birth angels. I think I believe in archangels.
- 28:53I believe in all of it because I've seen so
- 28:56much of it. And when I read, I'm like, yes,
- 29:01I feel the truth of that. So I embody that
- 29:05in everything I do. And I mean, in work, I
- 29:09can remember many, many times and I still do this,
- 29:14before I would go on stage to sing, or step
- 29:19in front of a camera for a scene, or even
- 29:22just to go on to the set before I'd go
- 29:24in front of all the people, I would always take
- 29:27a minute and just say, or a variation of this,
- 29:31may God's light and love emanate from me now, so
- 29:37that whatever is captured on camera, or whatever the audience feels,
- 29:41may they feel your resonance. May they feel your light
- 29:45and love. May it go to whomever is open to
- 29:47receive it. And may I be a conduit for you.
- 29:51And then you have to change your mind because you've
- 29:53got to focus on the scene. But you set the
- 29:55intention for the kinesthetic response. And a higher level of response.
- 30:02And you know it is so, so you can just
- 30:05let it be because you know it's there. And put
- 30:08it out.
- 30:08Speaker 1: What I love about this conversation is that you've been
- 30:12seeing spirits your whole life. You know the greater reality
- 30:15is real. You're highly intuitive and empathic. You're tuned in.
- 30:19And so many people feel that because they're that way,
- 30:23that they're supposed to make that their career. And you're
- 30:26showing how you work that into yourself. your way of being,
- 30:30your life in general. And that's the point of the
- 30:33awakened way. It's being consciously connected, divinely guided all the time.
- 30:38And you may not think of it every moment, but
- 30:42it pervades clearly your life.
- 30:47Speaker 2: It does. And I think there's every day, all of
- 30:49us have moments in our day where you could make
- 30:53just a You know, a simple little choice, a simple
- 30:57little thing, even if it's just hold the door open
- 31:01for somebody. If, you know, can I help you with
- 31:05that bad, ma'am? Just get out of yourself.
- 31:12Speaker 1: None of us are perfect, but you are clearly going
- 31:14to have a really nice life review.
- 31:16Speaker 2: When you cross. Well, hey, I've had my moments too.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I know, that's what I mean. We all do human things,
- 31:23but there was little things like that moment when you
- 31:25opened the door for somebody. You see those things in
- 31:28the life view because of that butterfly effect. That person
- 31:31you held the door for may be having a bad
- 31:34day and you just change things for them.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Oh, it happens all the time. I was in a
- 31:39bookshop in Malibu and I don't remember what I was
- 31:45looking for, and there was a young man that came in.
- 31:48He was 22 or something. He was young. And he
- 31:52was over there. And I'm looking at this book and
- 31:54I look and he picked out a book and I
- 31:57can't tell you right now what it was, but I
- 31:59have it. And I loved it, whatever it was. That's
- 32:02the other thing. Yeah, that one that he had pulled
- 32:06off the shelf. And I'm sorry, I don't remember the name.
- 32:10And he's looking at it. I said, oh, that is
- 32:13a really good And he's like, oh, you've read it?
- 32:15I go, yeah, it's really good. And he goes, yeah.
- 32:18And he said something to me. It's the other thing
- 32:20about these moments. I don't necessarily remember the interchange because
- 32:23it's happening for my higher self. It's not my ego
- 32:27saying it, you know? Love that. You know what I mean.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I do know.
- 32:29Speaker 2: And so I said, he said something. And I responded
- 32:35and had this little conversation with him. And he just
- 32:37stared at me. And he closed the book. He went, oh,
- 32:40my God, you just told me exactly what I needed
- 32:43to know to solve this problem in my life. I
- 32:46was meant to meet you here today. And I said, yes,
- 32:48you were. And buy that book.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I hope you did.
- 32:53Speaker 2: You did. But the point is, that's not unique. That
- 32:57can happen for all of us. If you are open
- 33:00to just say, hey, you know. And be open to
- 33:07what it is. People tell you who they are. It's
- 33:10your job to remember. And they can tell you without
- 33:13words what it is they need. But you have to listen.
- 33:18Speaker 1: And it's not just listening with the ears. And that
- 33:20word you're using is just key for me. I've been
- 33:23teaching a lot about being open. And it means widening
- 33:28your perspective, widening the lens. Most of us are so
- 33:31focused on our local field, who we are, and they don't.
- 33:35Open a little and then you can't help but tune
- 33:38into what's going on around you. And it really is
- 33:41as simple as just saying open. And it happens, right?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yes. And the word let, I think is an important word.
- 33:50Let it be. Like allow. Allow. Exactly. Exactly. And bring
- 33:58it in. And then how can I best use this today?
- 34:02Maybe it's just what I have to do later is,
- 34:05mop that dang floor in there, you know, but that's okay.
- 34:08At least I get to do that. I mean, I
- 34:12try not to, like, complain and whine and bitch and
- 34:16moan because the reality is I chose this.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Here's my definition of complaining. It's so helpful. Objecting to
- 34:26reality in a way that isn't helpful. Oh!
- 34:30Speaker 2: Right?
- 34:31Speaker 1: That's what complaining is. So you stop yourself and go,
- 34:34bitching and moaning and you say, is this helpful? What's
- 34:38really going on here?
- 34:39Speaker 2: This is reality. I can't, but maybe I can change this.
- 34:42Speaker 1: If you can change it, if you can't, why complain?
- 34:44Speaker 2: Doesn't help. Yeah. Someone else said that to me, but
- 34:47that's beautiful. The way you just said it is perfect.
- 34:50And something about, well, why aren't you upset over that?
- 34:53And I said, would it matter? Would it matter? Yeah.
- 34:58Would it help?
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 35:01Speaker 1: So how about anybody who's listening? Who's feeling disconnected. You're
- 35:05so clearly connected. They want some of that. I could
- 35:08summarize what you already said, but let's just really nail
- 35:11it down. For anybody who's listening who doesn't feel that connection,
- 35:14what would you tell them?
- 35:17Speaker 2: Don't give up on trying to open up to that.
- 35:20Don't think that it's not going to be there for
- 35:23you because you're in a state right now where you
- 35:27feel like you can't receive it. This is a transitory moment.
- 35:30Your life isn't going to be horrible and terrible forever
- 35:33just because it's horrible and terrible right now. This is
- 35:37a blip on the screen. This is a terrible moment.
- 35:42This is a difficult moment. That's part of the journey.
- 35:45Move through it.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Grow.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Expand.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Heal.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Whatever you need to do, but don't define the rest
- 35:49of your life. You know, you can have something horrible
- 35:51happen to you and say, that was a defining moment,
- 35:55but it doesn't define me. Mm-hmm. And there's a big difference.
- 36:00So if you're in a place where you're not feeling connected,
- 36:04perhaps move your body out of where you're at. You know,
- 36:09the body, mind, and spirit connection. For me, go out
- 36:13to nature. Change the energy around you. If you're unable
- 36:18to do that, then put on some meditative music.
- 36:22Speaker 1: I was just going to say, I know that we
- 36:25need to talk about music here because my gods are
- 36:26saying music, music.
- 36:28Speaker 2: You know all about music. Yeah. I mean, the resonant
- 36:32tones for music, they heal your chakras, your body, your
- 36:35cells vibrate to them. I mean, the sophageal frequencies. Do
- 36:42you listen to that?
- 36:43Speaker 3: Not often, but I don't know a whole lot about them,
- 36:46but why don't you Well, I'm not an expert in it,
- 36:49and I can't remember what century they were created by
- 36:52some monks somewhere, because I don't have my little book
- 36:57here with my notes, but there was an anthropologist that
- 37:01discovered these manuscripts that were old sheet music, and.
- 37:05Speaker 2: They were able to test and determine that the sulfasio frequencies,
- 37:13they activated all these different hertz patterns that Actually activate
- 37:19your organs. There's how many hertz is, I don't have
- 37:24my chart in front of me. The heart has a
- 37:26certain one. Yeah, the heart has a certain resonance, the brain,
- 37:28the spine, the body, the soul, whatever. They are so
- 37:35exceptionally healing because tone is energy.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Music is energy. And we come into resonance with it.
- 37:45Your whole field entrains for it. And it completely changes.
- 37:49It's like, I can't listen to a lot of certain
- 37:52types of music because it is so harsh and it's
- 37:57so dark and it's based in fear and it's combative.
- 38:02And I'm like, I gotta go, you know, but I
- 38:06can put on other music and absolute transport myself. So
- 38:10if somebody is out there and they need to shift
- 38:12that energy and you can't get outside and you can't
- 38:14be by nature and You know, if you can take
- 38:17a couple, just two-minute song, something that lifts your spirit.
- 38:21Put on your earphones and just, okay, okay.
- 38:25Speaker 2: And breathe. Inspirito Santos. Breathe the sacred breath. That changes
- 38:34the whole cellular structure. You know that.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:37Speaker 2: It changes everything.
- 38:40Speaker 1: But my guides just told me that you were a songwriter.
- 38:42We talked about that, right? But they told me you
- 38:45have channeled some of your music.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Yes, I have.
- 38:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I have.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Why don't you talk about that process?
- 38:56Speaker 2: Ah, they just said, hey, how about this? I mean,
- 39:01it's not, well, for example, there was one time I
- 39:05had this friend who was coming over to pick up
- 39:09this song that I needed to complete to take it
- 39:12to the producer. And I was leaving to do a
- 39:16movie the next day. I was leaving the country. And
- 39:19I was stuck on this bridge. And he was coming
- 39:23in an hour. Musical bridge. Musical bridge. Pardon me. Excuse me. Yes,
- 39:28not a building bridge. Musical bridge. And I kept going,
- 39:32what is happening here? And, and I'm feeling a little
- 39:36angst because he's knocking on the door in the hour
- 39:38and I got to, you know, and so I said, okay,
- 39:41calm down. And I just meditate. And I said, would
- 39:44you please give me this bridge? And here's the song
- 39:49and here's what it needs to say. Here's the connective
- 39:51link from the verse till we augment. And could you
- 39:56do that for 15 minutes?
- 39:58Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 39:59Speaker 2: All of a sudden it went. And I wrote it
- 40:02all down and it was perfect. And I wound up
- 40:05recording it and it worked great. There was another time
- 40:08I was. One of my favorite songs that I wrote
- 40:13was called Ella. There was a time and. I think
- 40:16I wrote that song in 15 minutes.
- 40:20Speaker 1: And it came through you.
- 40:21Speaker 2: It came through. That's exactly right. And that's what, that's
- 40:26what art does.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yes.
- 40:29Speaker 2: It often comes from, it comes from your heart.
- 40:33Speaker 1: It's God expressing itself through you. That's why we're here.
- 40:37We are the music of God.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Yes, we are.
- 40:41Speaker 1: That's lovely.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I love that. And There was times when, like I said,
- 40:46this one song, I was, gosh, I was being driven
- 40:50to some talk show. And I'm in the back seat
- 40:56hearing this song. So I'm like writing really fast. And
- 41:00when I got there, it was a lot of traffic
- 41:02as it is in LA. So I was a little
- 41:03bit late. And I ran in and they're like, oh, great.
- 41:06We're ready to go. I go, just give me one minute.
- 41:08And I ran over into this other room and wrote
- 41:11down the chorus. And dead. I said, now we can go.
- 41:14I had to finish a song. And it was that fast. Yes.
- 41:19Because it was already written at a different level. That's right.
- 41:22It was just waiting to come through. You know, I
- 41:26think music as it is out there in the spheres,
- 41:29there was a, I'm a massive Van Morrison song. His
- 41:32music just go for me. And there's one CD in
- 41:36particular at the time in the 80s called Inarticulate Speech
- 41:41of the Heart. And it's just a fap.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Okay, got to write that one down.
- 41:47Speaker 2: I always suggest listening to that. And he writes with
- 41:52such a spiritual fervor in that body of work. But
- 41:57there was this instrumental piece on that. And I can't
- 42:02remember the name of the song, but it was just
- 42:04one little piece of music that was in the background. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
- 42:12It was a little, that was it. But it was
- 42:14a big song. And I kept hearing that over and
- 42:17over again. And I gave lyrics to that for myself
- 42:22in my mind. And that was just it. I didn't
- 42:25do anything with it. It's just because it was my song.
- 42:27I just heard that little thing. Maybe two years, year later,
- 42:35what was the next one? It might have been a
- 42:37Poetic Champions Compose.
- 42:40Speaker 1: He.
- 42:41Speaker 2: had that same piece of music as happens with artists.
- 42:44Sometimes you use little bits in additional, and it was
- 42:48the exact lyrics. As I felt this story coming out,
- 42:53I thought, no way. Oh, yeah. It was, love will
- 42:58always last forever. This love will always last always. Oh,
- 43:03my gosh. And when I heard it, I went, say what?
- 43:06Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I got that first.
- 43:12But that's what it is. It just, it floats around
- 43:14out there. And sometimes it comes down and taps you
- 43:17on the shoulder and sometimes you reach up and go,
- 43:19thank you.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yes. And it's why you'll have two inventors coming up
- 43:22with the same thing at the same time in different
- 43:24parts of the world, even though it wasn't published. So
- 43:28where have your songs been played when you said, you know,
- 43:31you had to get this to a producer for this
- 43:32or that?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Oh, well, I've got a couple of CDs out and
- 43:35you can buy them on, uh, you know, Amazon, Apple music, uh, Spotify.
- 43:41I don't know where we're able to buy CD baby.
- 43:44You know, you can buy them. Uh, and I haven't
- 43:48been performing musically lately, but I got a message from
- 43:52spirit and it was a reminder to, you know, bring
- 43:58your voice back. Oh, nice. Okay. And I, I am a,
- 44:03freak for Christmas music. I mean, I'll play Christmas music
- 44:08in July.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And people are like, I'm sorry, what's wrong with you?
- 44:12I'm like, nothing. I just love it. Listen to this song.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Boy, if people can't feel your joy, something's, something is
- 44:19a little stuck. So just breathe, everybody open up and
- 44:22soak this up because it's part of the reason I
- 44:24wanted to have you on the show, Stephanie. You just,
- 44:26you radiate joy. You radiate an understanding at the deepest
- 44:29level of who we all are and how connected we are.
- 44:32And just being in the presence of that kind of
- 44:35energy is transformative. People will pick it up. So I'm
- 44:39sure that you're just uplifting people just by being here,
- 44:42I think.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Well, thank you. Well, having brought up the Christmas thing,
- 44:45I think there's got to be a Christmas album in
- 44:47my future. Yes, that's what I saw. That's where you're
- 44:50heading with that. No doubt. We love those. We need
- 44:53some new ones.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Yeah. So just a couple more questions. If you could
- 44:58sit with your younger self, Any advice you'd tell her?
- 45:05Maybe the woman who was just beginning to star in
- 45:07the show Hunter.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Oh, I think I would go back to much younger
- 45:12than that. Yeah. Don't listen to the negative programming.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Don't listen to negative programming. Don't worry about what other
- 45:29people think about you. Because it ultimately doesn't matter. It
- 45:34really doesn't. You run around going, you know, especially young people,
- 45:40regardless of their business, but narcissisms are very heavily layered
- 45:46in the entertainment business. And, you know, I've worked with
- 45:51a lot of them and you just kind of go, whoa, well,
- 45:54you know, I'm going to go sit over here, you know.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Good idea.
- 45:59Speaker 2: But the people that, Keep listening to the negative programming
- 46:03they got as a child into their adulthood. And it
- 46:09stops them from growing and expanding in their heart and
- 46:11their mind and their body and their soul to a
- 46:14higher level because they're crunched back. Make yourself smaller. Make
- 46:19yourself diminished. Be nice. You know, all that crap.
- 46:24Speaker 1: You know what just popped up in my mind as
- 46:25you said that?
- 46:27Speaker 2: Do listen.
- 46:28Speaker 1: But from a higher perspective. Yes. And then question it.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Discern it. Yeah. Discern it.
- 46:36Speaker 1: And say, why am I believing this? Is this helping me?
- 46:39Speaker 2: Or why do I think that? Where did this come from?
- 46:42I know that's what you were saying, but I just
- 46:44turned it on. It took me a while to get there.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 46:46Speaker 2: But, you know, but it's people, when I was younger,
- 46:49I wish I'd had more of that. But that's okay.
- 46:54It all served a purpose to get me where I
- 46:56am now. But if you're starting out and you're sitting
- 46:58there and you're wondering how to, you know, just, gosh,
- 47:04like I said, just don't listen to the negative voices.
- 47:07Have discernment. Listen to the ones that are empowering you
- 47:11to be the best that you can be on every level.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Good for all of us at any age.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Well, true, right? It's so true. And it's like opinions,
- 47:22people that put a lot of stock in people's opinions.
- 47:25Or in my business, people were saying, for example, they'd
- 47:28come in and say, oh, do you see the numbers
- 47:30on the show this week? God, it's the highest rate
- 47:33of show. Isn't it great? I said, oh, yeah. Don't
- 47:36you read the numbers every week? I go, no, no,
- 47:39I don't. That's great. What do you mean you don't?
- 47:42How could you not? I said, I have no control
- 47:45over that. I'm here to do the best I can
- 47:48do and put it out there. And not be attached
- 47:53to the outcome, but enjoy the journey. Right?
- 47:59Speaker 1: That's how we live on my team, for sure.
- 48:01Speaker 2: If people watch it, great. If they don't, they don't.
- 48:04My life goes on. Oh, it's so freeing, Stephanie.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Well, it is.
- 48:10Speaker 2: You free yourself from other people's attachments. And it's just
- 48:17such a waste. You know, it's just such a waste
- 48:20of energy, I think. to get caught up in that
- 48:24spiral and and all of that stuff and i'm like
- 48:27i don't i i was i i can remember being
- 48:31interviewed and people would say how come we don't see
- 48:33you out at all the parties and going here and
- 48:36you're in that and i said well first of all
- 48:38i'm too freaking tired okay because the workload was enormous
- 48:43but also i just that's very boring to me you
- 48:47didn't need it for the ego I didn't. And I
- 48:50found it sucking your energy and I'd be bored. It
- 48:53was like, I don't want to stand around and hear
- 48:56you talk about acting. I was like, check, please. You know,
- 48:59I just, it just didn't resonate with me. I know
- 49:01what I do, but I didn't need to be a
- 49:03part of the external infrastructure at that level. I needed
- 49:09time for me.
- 49:10Speaker 1: As you're speaking, I can't help but think you, you
- 49:12talked about your daughter, Lily, and you said she's an
- 49:15old soul and very advanced.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I know that.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Your mother could have said the same thing about you
- 49:23because you clearly came here for a mission that you've
- 49:27been aware of without possibly naming it as a mission,
- 49:31but you're definitely fulfilling it. Yeah.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Hopefully. Hopefully.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I'm doing my best today. Wow.
- 49:41Speaker 2: I'll keep on keeping on.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I've just been brought in as a trustee for the
- 49:48organization Humanities Team, and I want to talk about them
- 49:51more as I go forward in the future because their
- 49:53mission is the same as mine, to make conscious living pervasive.
- 49:57Speaker 2: By 2040, that's a big goal.
- 49:59Speaker 1: But I believe that when more people become conscious of
- 50:03who we are and how connected we are, We will
- 50:06have more people like you who do see the positive,
- 50:09who don't listen to the negative, who aren't so concerned
- 50:12about their ego, who are a positive force for change
- 50:15in our world.
- 50:17Speaker 2: So thank you for modeling that. Oh, well, thank you
- 50:22for doing what it is you're doing because that's why
- 50:25we're here. I always said to my daughter, whatever you
- 50:28decide to do when you grow up, Whatever you decide
- 50:32to do, as long as you're fulfilled and happy and
- 50:35it's a passionate connection for you. But above all, you know,
- 50:42make a positive difference in the world. No matter what
- 50:46it is you do. And one little thing I used
- 50:48to do when she was little is when she'd go
- 50:51to sleep at night and I would always write a
- 50:55little word on her forehead with my finger. I'd say,
- 50:58close your eyes. What did I write? And she'd say, joy.
- 51:02I'd say, yes. And that's your birthright. Or what did
- 51:07I write? Love. Yes.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 51:12Speaker 2: So it's like, you know, just when you can be
- 51:17a mother to a child that's open to receive that
- 51:19information also, but even if they're not, help guide them to.
- 51:22I mean, it's the simpler things to help shift the mind.
- 51:28Speaker 1: This is the butterfly effect again here, Stephanie, because people say,
- 51:31you know, we need to change the world. But it
- 51:33really does happen one soul at a time, one interaction
- 51:37at a time. And then that radiates outward. This will
- 51:40be the way humanity is, perhaps much farther in the
- 51:43future than we would like. But this is how it's
- 51:46going to happen.
- 51:47Speaker 2: And, you know, something you said that's interesting. very prominent
- 51:51throughout my life today still when you were asking about
- 51:54how this has worked in my world when acting especially
- 51:57on that series unbeknownst to me because of the type
- 52:04of role I played I was and I still am
- 52:09constantly stopped all over the world and in like a
- 52:15supermarket in an airport a woman will come up to
- 52:18me in a restaurant and When I go and do
- 52:21Comic-Cons and meet fans, and they'll hand me these letters,
- 52:24pages of letters, and they'll say, you changed my life.
- 52:30And they say, because of you, I learned how to
- 52:34have the strength to leave my abusive husband. Because of you,
- 52:38I became an attorney. Because of you, I went into
- 52:41law enforcement. I wanted to make a difference. I learned
- 52:44how to stand on my own two feet and be
- 52:47my own empowered female strategist. And I mean, I didn't
- 52:52intentionally have that in my head, but I'm grateful, forever
- 52:57grateful that that role, which just put me in a
- 53:01position to be able to, like we said, use our
- 53:06position of what we're doing to go out and make
- 53:08a positive difference in the world. And in this case,
- 53:11it really made the difference in the lives of a
- 53:13lot of women. And for that, I'm most grateful.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Wow. Well, I know I speak for everybody that just
- 53:21listened to this episode, that we're grateful you came on
- 53:24and shared that positivity with us. It's not Pollyanna Kumbaya.
- 53:28It is what will change the world.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Just try it, everybody.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Just try it.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I think so much of you. I think you're so wonderful.
- 53:37So I'm so happy I got to come and join
- 53:40you today.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Yeah. So everybody, you now have some homework, right? Go
- 53:44out and change somebody every day and And what word
- 53:49would you write on your forehead as you go to sleep? Yes.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Yes. And sometimes if there's nobody there to hug you
- 53:57when you're feeling bad, don't forget sometimes you just have
- 54:00to hold your own hand. And that's okay, too.
- 54:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:05Speaker 1: All right.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Thank you, Stephanie. Thank you.
- 54:08Speaker 1: It was a delight.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Thank you, everybody.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did,
- 54:12and we'll see you back here next week.
