A massive landslide in Chongqing, triggered by heavy rain, buried over ten homes and forced more than 1,100 people to evacuate. Rescue crews have pulled at least ten survivors from the rubble amid dangerous, unstable terrain and the constant threat of another slide. The disaster zone, near the Wujiang River in karst terrain, has lost power and water/gas services as safety measures are enforced.
