- 1:56power and the glory forever in Jesus Christ.
- 1:59Holy and precious name I pray, Amen.
- 2:05Let's start in verse one. And he made the altar of burnt
- 2:09offering of Acacia wood, 5 cubits was the length of it, 5
- 2:13cubits was the breadth of it. It was 4 square and three cubits
- 2:17the height of it too. And he made the horns there on
- 2:20the four corners of it. And the horns of it were the
- 2:22same. And he overlaid it with brass.
- 2:25So can you see it, friends? This altar of burnt offering,
- 2:28it's got the horns there made of brass.
- 2:31That speaks of the refining fire.
- 2:34Three. And he made of the vessels of
- 2:35the altar, the pots and the shovels, and the basins, and the
- 2:38flesh hooks, the fire pans, and the vessels there of it he made
- 2:42of brass. Can you see King Jesus with eyes
- 2:45like fire and hair like wool, the voice of the many
- 2:48multitudes? Can you see, His legs are like
- 2:51brass, as they were refined in the refiner's fire?
- 2:58Four. And he made for the altar a
- 3:00brass grate of network under the compass of it beneath unto the
- 3:04midst of it. 5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the
- 3:08grate of brass, to be places for the Staffs. 6 And he made the
- 3:14Staffs of Acacia wood, and overlaid them with brass. 7 And
- 3:18he put the Staffs into the rings of the sides of the altar, to
- 3:22bear it with all. He made the altar hollow with
- 3:26boards, hey, and he made the lover of brass and the foot of
- 3:31it brass, and the looking glasses of the of the looking
- 3:34glasses of the women assembling and assembled at the door of the
- 3:38Tabernacle of the congregation. So here you can see that the
- 3:42women had brought their mirrors for them to meltdown to make
- 3:48this lover. This is where they would wash
- 3:50at. Friends, What an amazing thought
- 3:54that God wants us to trade our vanity for the reality, to give
- 3:59up the false self that we all hold and that we want people to
- 4:03see and to lay it all down for Him and to walk in the reality
- 4:08and the identity that He gives to us.
- 4:12If we will not do that, if we will not come to the place where
- 4:17we see ourselves the way that God does, then we will always be
- 4:22scratching at the surface. We'll always be running in
- 4:26circles trying to live up to the ways of the world.
- 4:30And it will always end in a shallowness and a hollowness.
- 4:35Friends, we've got to give up our vanity.
- 4:38We've got to give up trying to measure up, and we have to step
- 4:44into the reality that God made us perfect and God made us
- 4:49beautiful in our time. No matter who you are, no matter
- 4:54what you look like, God made You Beautiful because you were made
- 4:57in His image. Friends, never forget that 9 And
- 5:03he made the court on the South side southward, and the hangings
- 5:07of the court were of fine twine, linen, and 100 cubits. 10 The
- 5:11pillars were 20 and their brazen sockets 20 and hooks and pillars
- 5:15and their fillets were of silver.
- 5:17So here we're getting to see the court friends. 11 In the north
- 5:23side of the hangings were 100 cubit, their pillars were 20 and
- 5:27their sockets and brass 20 And the hooks of the pillars and
- 5:30their fillets of silver 12 And for the West side were the
- 5:33hangings of 50 cubits and their pillars 10 and their sockets 10
- 5:37And their hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver 13
- 5:41And for the east side eastward 50 cubits 14.
- 5:44The hangings of the one side of the gate were 15 cubits, their
- 5:48pillars 3 and their sockets 3, and the other side of the court
- 5:52Gaid on his hand that the hand were the hangings of the 15
- 5:55cubits, their pillars 3 and their sockets 316 And all the
- 6:00hangings of the court round and about were fine twine linen. 17
- 6:04And the sockets for the pillars were of brass, and the hooks of
- 6:07the pillars, and the fillets of silver, and the overlayings of
- 6:10the chapters of silver, and the pillars of the court were
- 6:13filleted over with silver. Think about it friends, here we
- 6:18get to see the making of this Tabernacle, this tent that God
- 6:22is going to come into and look at all the measurements and
- 6:25everything that He has told them to build to the exact
- 6:29measurement. What an amazing thought. 18 And
- 6:34the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework of the blue
- 6:37and purple scarlet fine twined linen, and 20 cubits was the
- 6:41length, and the height and the breadth was 5 cubits answerable
- 6:46to the hangings of the court. 19 And their pillars were four, and
- 6:51their sockets of brass four, and their hooks of silver, and the
- 6:54overlayings of the chapterters, and the fillets of silver, 20.
- 6:58And the pins and the Tabernacle and the court round and about
- 7:02were of brass. 21 This is the sum of the Tabernacle, even of
- 7:06the Tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted according to the
- 7:10commandment of Moses for the service of the Levites, by the
- 7:14hand of Itamar son of Aaron the priest. 22 And Bazalio the son
- 7:19of Urri, the son of her of the tribe of Judah, made all that
- 7:22the Lord commanded Moses. Think about it friends,
- 7:28Everything was done to the exact specifications that God told
- 7:31Moses when he was on Mount Sinai.
- 7:35He told him exactly what this was to look like, and then he
- 7:39supernaturally filled old Bazalil and gave him the ability
- 7:46to actually make everything exactly.
- 7:50What an amazing thought. 22 And Bazalil the son of Uri, made all
- 7:57that the Lord commanded Moses. 23 And with him was a holy AB,
- 8:01the son of Ahashima, the tribe of Dan, an engraver of cunning
- 8:06workmen of embroidery of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen.
- 8:1024 All the gold that was occupied for the work, in all
- 8:14the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was 29
- 8:19talents and 730 shekels after the shekel of the sanctuary, and
- 8:26they had more to give, but had to be commanded to stop. 25 In
- 8:33the silver of them that were numbered in the congregation was
- 8:36100 talents and 1703 score and 15 shekels after the shekel of
- 8:42the sanctuary. 26 A Becca for every man that is half the
- 8:46shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary for everyone that went
- 8:50to be numbered from 20 years old and upward for 600,000 and 3550
- 8:59men. So think about it friends.
- 9:01This was what they were required to pay, no matter if they were
- 9:05rich or poor, this half shekel. And here you can see that it all
- 9:12came together for the building of this tent 27.
- 9:20And of the 100 talents of silver were cast the sockets of the
- 9:24sanctuary and the sockets of the veil, 100 sockets of the 100
- 9:28talents, and a talent for a socket, 28.
- 9:32And of the of the 1770 and five shekels he made hooks for the
- 9:37pillars and overlaid their chapters and filleted them, 29.
- 9:42And the brass of the offering was 70 talents and 2400 shekels,
- 9:4730. And there with he made the
- 9:49sockets to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation
- 9:52in the brass altar, in the brass great, for in the vessels of the
- 9:57altar will end on 31. And the sockets of the court
- 10:00round and about. And the sockets of the court
- 10:03gate, and all the pins of the Tabernacle and all the pins of
- 10:06the court round and about. What an amazing chapter in God's
- 10:10Word. I hope you've been blessed by
- 10:11it. I know I sure have.
- 10:13I'm praying for every single one of you.
- 10:15I love you. We'll see you back here
- 10:17tomorrow. God bless you.
