- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, Well, guess what, Just a few hours after
- 0:04Speaker 1: my conversation with Ken david Off was published, I now
- 0:07Speaker 1: have another legend on my line. It is lou Terminello.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Terminello's take. You know, we had a load choppiness on
- 0:15Speaker 1: Friday when I was trying to get to the games
- 0:17Speaker 1: for the physically challenge for the anniversary. But we got
- 0:19Speaker 1: that interview done before Game seven. Then add Game seven
- 0:24Speaker 1: happens and the Spurs look, uh dominant? Do they not
- 0:30Speaker 1: heading into this final? I mean, they look pretty good
- 0:33Speaker 1: heading into the final? But where did okay see go?
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's the other question I have for you, Louis.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Hey, Alex, thanks for having me. As always, what happened? Okay?
- 0:43Speaker 2: See's very simple? Uh? They really they didn't miss Jaalen
- 0:50Speaker 2: Williams in those earlier rounds because they just boat raced
- 0:56Speaker 2: the Suns and the Lakers. But as a competition got
- 0:59Speaker 2: tough for they missed their second best player, and they
- 1:06Speaker 2: missed aj Mitchell, who was having a tremendous postseason for
- 1:09Speaker 2: the last couple of games. And they got nothing from
- 1:12Speaker 2: Cheded Holmgren in this series, who was just terrible in
- 1:16Speaker 2: this series and really terrible on in Game seven and
- 1:21Speaker 2: they were throwing the Spurs with throwing two players at
- 1:25Speaker 2: Shane Gildas Alexander whenever he got the ball and he
- 1:29Speaker 2: couldn't do it alone. The Spurs were the better team
- 1:34Speaker 2: in the set. Over the seven games series, they were.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I think if they were if okay See was healthy,
- 1:41Speaker 2: okay See would have won. And if they were healthy,
- 1:45Speaker 2: I think they would have won the championship. But San
- 1:52Speaker 2: Antonio was the better team from really from when you
- 1:56Speaker 2: look at all seven games and just collaborate them, it's
- 2:02Speaker 2: alex they were a better team. They deserve to win
- 2:06Speaker 2: as young as they were, you know they they deserve
- 2:12Speaker 2: to win. I mean it's it was clear.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Wow. And I gotta say some kudos because I live
- 2:19Speaker 1: half a mile from Saint John, so Julian Champagny, who
- 2:23Speaker 1: was on our air waves. I mean when John Minco
- 2:26Speaker 1: would call his name, he most likely heard his name
- 2:28Speaker 1: on A five seventy and AM nine seventy during those years.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I mean that that was how I knew Champagny. And
- 2:37Speaker 1: look what he's on the NBA Finals now, So really
- 2:40Speaker 1: proud for that, Saint John. How about Dylan Harper, how
- 2:43Speaker 1: about Stephen Castle in the Big East and Yukon alone.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's a nice representation in the tri stated area.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Is they have three contributing Big East players. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 2: Champagne was cut by the Sixers, and I give him
- 3:01Speaker 2: a lot of credit continue to work on his game,
- 3:04Speaker 2: and he's a you know, he's a really good perimeter shooter,
- 3:08Speaker 2: which opens up everything for Victor webin Yama, who could
- 3:12Speaker 2: also hit from the outside. But Stephen Castle, obviously he's
- 3:17Speaker 2: a superior defensive player. He's especially perimeter defense, and he's
- 3:24Speaker 2: going to be a key guy guarding Brunson in this series.
- 3:28Speaker 2: And Dylan Hawpe. We know how good he was at
- 3:34Speaker 2: Rutgers last year, and I was really hoping that he
- 3:38Speaker 2: would be playing in the Metropolitan area if the Nets
- 3:40Speaker 2: had gotten that number two pick behind a Cooper flag.
- 3:43Speaker 2: But they didn't. The Spurs got lucky. They moved up
- 3:46Speaker 2: a significantly amount of spaces and they draft him and
- 3:49Speaker 2: he kid's not playing like a twenty year old. He
- 3:51Speaker 2: really isn't. I really, I really like the kid. I
- 3:57Speaker 2: love the kid at Rutgers. I love him. I was
- 4:00Speaker 2: gonna get better and better this This this Spurs team
- 4:03Speaker 2: is is very very good. But that being said. That
- 4:07Speaker 2: being said, I don't think they're gonna beat the next
- 4:11Speaker 2: you know my theory, four out of seven. I don't
- 4:15Speaker 2: think that the Spurs can beat the nixt four out
- 4:17Speaker 2: of seven. I really don't, you know, the you know
- 4:22Speaker 2: A Victor Weberama is the most talented player on the
- 4:27Speaker 2: on both rosters, and everybody's saying, well, he, you know,
- 4:30Speaker 2: the best, he's the best player in the series. I'm
- 4:33Speaker 2: not so sure. Alex. Yes, he you know, he's twenty
- 4:36Speaker 2: two years old. I don't know if his game is
- 4:39Speaker 2: complete yet. Yes, he plays a complete game, but can
- 4:42Speaker 2: he get better? I'm not blaming, don't get me wrong.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I'm not saying that Brunson is better than Wemby, but
- 4:51Speaker 2: maybe for the series, Brunson is the best player in
- 4:54Speaker 2: the series. He's going to control the ball. He's a veteran.
- 4:58Speaker 2: He got a veteran team again, aainst the young team.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Will San Antonio be happy just that they that they
- 5:05Speaker 2: beat Okase? And yes they want to win the NBA Championship,
- 5:09Speaker 2: But mentally are they are they there to win four
- 5:12Speaker 2: more games? Are they mentally tough? I know the Knicks
- 5:15Speaker 2: are mentally tough. That the Knicks the Knicks realize that
- 5:20Speaker 2: from the from the head coach on down to the
- 5:23Speaker 2: twelfth man, that this is their time to win the championship.
- 5:27Speaker 2: And I think I think they're going to. I think
- 5:29Speaker 2: they're gonna get physical with Wemby.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And right, that's the logical matchup.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if they're gonna put
- 5:38Speaker 2: Cat on him or if they're gonna put O g
- 5:41Speaker 2: and Unobi on them. Now, don't don't be surprised when
- 5:46Speaker 2: this series is over and if the Knicks win, if
- 5:51Speaker 2: Brunson in all likelihood probably would be the MVP of
- 5:55Speaker 2: the finals because obviously he's gonna you know, he'll be
- 6:00Speaker 2: a key guy. But Anonobi could be a finals MVP.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It really, I mean, I really think he's the key guys.
- 6:08Speaker 1: You know, and I know, I know I mentioned baseball
- 6:10Speaker 1: last week too, but he's almost like the Matsui of
- 6:13Speaker 1: this team, you know what I mean, Like he's got
- 6:15Speaker 1: that clutch in him. But he's not the always talked
- 6:18Speaker 1: about guy either, That's correct.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Uh, you know, I would agree with you. I think that,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you know, Ananobi can throw Wemby if he's on him,
- 6:31Speaker 2: which I think he will be, especially in some of
- 6:36Speaker 2: the big possessions throw off his game just enough to
- 6:43Speaker 2: create those segments of the game where the Knicks get
- 6:48Speaker 2: those six points and uh, San Antonio turns the ball over,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you know, and this I just I just think that
- 6:59Speaker 2: they're gonna throw a lot, a lot at him. But
- 7:03Speaker 2: you know, San Antonio is a deep team. But they're
- 7:05Speaker 2: also the youngest team in the NBA. Are they mature enough?
- 7:10Speaker 2: You know, Stephen Castle, Stefan Castle is uh. You know,
- 7:14Speaker 2: he's an excellent defender. He's an excellent player, but sometimes
- 7:17Speaker 2: it's just his decision making comes into play. He turns
- 7:21Speaker 2: the ball over. They need DeAndre Fox to have a
- 7:25Speaker 2: big series. He's a veteran. He's an eight or nine
- 7:28Speaker 2: year veteran. You know. I know he missed a couple
- 7:31Speaker 2: of games with the ankle, but he has to put
- 7:33Speaker 2: that past them, and they need that ankle to hold
- 7:36Speaker 2: up for four seven game series. I think the Knicks
- 7:41Speaker 2: are and I think the Knicks are in great shape.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I really do. I think I think they're gonna get
- 7:45Speaker 2: a split in San Antonio. I mean, I think they're
- 7:48Speaker 2: got split in San Antonio. I think they're gonna win
- 7:50Speaker 2: both games in New York. I think they're gonna go
- 7:52Speaker 2: back to San Antonio for Game five up three to one,
- 7:55Speaker 2: and uh, they might lose Game five, but I think
- 7:58Speaker 2: they're gonna win Game six. I really, I really think
- 8:02Speaker 2: this is their time. And yes they have the way
- 8:06Speaker 2: the bracket has fallen their way, Yes it has fallen
- 8:09Speaker 2: that way, but that's that's the way it goes. And
- 8:14Speaker 2: they're playing great. They're not beating people, they're pulverizing people.
- 8:18Speaker 2: They send an NBA record they're plus what plus two
- 8:21Speaker 2: sixty two or some ridiculous total like that. They've killed everybody.
- 8:27Speaker 2: No team has, No team has had a point spread
- 8:33Speaker 2: like they've had in the history of the NBA playoffs.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I think it's their time, Alex. I do. I really do.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well. Yeah, And I'll tell you how interesting and generational
- 8:46Speaker 1: this is. Even those in the seventies that were around
- 8:49Speaker 1: wanting to see it again after that, and they've been
- 8:52Speaker 1: waiting just as long as the younger nick fans. So
- 8:54Speaker 1: it's it's all like a homeoltivelative.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Wait, you know what's uh ironic for the other MSG tenant,
- 9:03Speaker 2: it was fifty four years the drought. This is fifty
- 9:06Speaker 2: three years. So there's come there's some kind of uh
- 9:13Speaker 2: you know, comparison similation, whatever you want to call it. There. Uh,
- 9:17Speaker 2: it just seems to me that that, uh, this could
- 9:23Speaker 2: be it. Really this this drought could could end for them.
- 9:27Speaker 2: They're playing great. I mean, they they got they've actually
- 9:31Speaker 2: turned the game around during the playoffs. They've he actually
- 9:35Speaker 2: turned even some of the assignments that some of these
- 9:37Speaker 2: players had during the playoffs, which is hard to do.
- 9:43Speaker 2: You know, you talked about Cat, he's playing great defensively,
- 9:46Speaker 2: and they probably will'll start him on Wenby. I don't
- 9:49Speaker 2: know if they will, because the one one downfall for
- 9:53Speaker 2: Cat is he has it he has a tendency to
- 9:56Speaker 2: get into foul trouble. Now, Mitchell Robinson has a broken pinky,
- 10:00Speaker 2: it's I don't think first of all, they'll they'll tape
- 10:03Speaker 2: them up and they'll they'll put some kind of everything
- 10:07Speaker 2: legally that they could put on them, whether it's a
- 10:09Speaker 2: splint or you know, a soft splint. I don't think
- 10:14Speaker 2: the injury is gonna hurt his game that much because
- 10:17Speaker 2: he doesn't pass the ball, he doesn't shoot the ball
- 10:20Speaker 2: except dunk. And you know he's a great rebounder and
- 10:23Speaker 2: shot blocker. Uh so uh and I think they're going
- 10:27Speaker 2: a rough Wemby up a little bit, I really do.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I mean, and I don't mean that I legally, I
- 10:32Speaker 2: mean just within the framework of the rules. And I'm
- 10:40Speaker 2: really uh positive about this next team. Hey could could they?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Could they lose? Can they lose the series? Sure? They could?
- 10:48Speaker 2: But is San Antonio exhausted from the from Oklahoma City? Mentally?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Are they exhausted more mentally than physically? Like I said
- 10:58Speaker 2: a couple of minutes ago, are they happy that that
- 11:00Speaker 2: they beat OKAC? And okay? Mentally? All right? Will settle
- 11:05Speaker 2: for this? You know, young guys are are tough to figure.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You saw how emotional the Spurs were after the game.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Wemby was very emotional. But can he carry his team
- 11:21Speaker 2: to an NBA title which would be the sixth for
- 11:24Speaker 2: the Spurs since nineteen ninety nine, which is unbelievable. And
- 11:29Speaker 2: they should have also the one that they lost, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 2: they won five titles, the one that they lost to Miami,
- 11:35Speaker 2: they should have won that one. Popovich blew that series
- 11:38Speaker 2: that one game for him and it cost him a series.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Even the greatest coaches like Popovich make mistakes. So but
- 11:48Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to the series I am, I am,
- 11:53Speaker 2: and they got Bridges playing well, and you know they're
- 11:58Speaker 2: gonna use Shaman, who's been tremendous in the playoffs, both
- 12:02Speaker 2: offensively and defensively. If the Spurs cannot turn the ball
- 12:07Speaker 2: over and they did that sometimes with a lot of
- 12:12Speaker 2: Kalis turnovers in the last series, but they won't. They
- 12:16Speaker 2: still wont a game seven on the road, and for
- 12:18Speaker 2: a young team, that's pretty good.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Well, and they also made ninety nine percent of those shots.
- 12:24Speaker 1: It felt like everything was going in on Saturday night. Meanwhile,
- 12:28Speaker 1: meanwhile on the other side, okay, see was struggling. SGA
- 12:32Speaker 1: calling the failure. I told you in the beginning of
- 12:36Speaker 1: this playoffs or maybe even a couple of rounds, And
- 12:38Speaker 1: I said, remember how SJA was asked if this team
- 12:42Speaker 1: was a dynasty. You're not a dynasty if you can't
- 12:45Speaker 1: win win more than one championship in a row. I mean,
- 12:47Speaker 1: that's not dynastics. So no, it's not long ways to.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Go, and they're very young, so they'll be It's not
- 12:54Speaker 2: that they're going away, so you know they'll be back,
- 12:58Speaker 2: that's for sure. I was surprised they lost.
- 13:04Speaker 1: We'll have to see if Kennedy of heroes will have
- 13:07Speaker 1: it for eight and I have a certain mayoral march
- 13:11Speaker 1: in it. If that's the case, we don't know yet.
- 13:12Speaker 1: But anyway, one game at a time, one possession at
- 13:16Speaker 1: a time, NBA Finals, you know, anything can happen. I mean,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I was just thinking how it wasn't about ten years ago,
- 13:24Speaker 1: right Cleveland was up three to one and that they lose.
- 13:28Speaker 1: That it's just been you know the fin Anything can
- 13:30Speaker 1: happened in these finals.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Well, it's Golden State was up three to one and
- 13:34Speaker 2: Cleveland came back to beat them. That that's gold ye, yes,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and then Cleveland broke the long Cleveland drought of sports
- 13:44Speaker 2: championships and uh, Kyrie hit that shot at the end
- 13:50Speaker 2: and that was That was quite a series and you
- 13:55Speaker 2: know it broke broke that rout. But I could tell
- 13:57Speaker 2: you one thing this Cleveland team was that that was
- 14:02Speaker 2: breaking no droughts.
- 14:04Speaker 1: But I think you'd agree one possession at a time
- 14:06Speaker 1: and absolutely yeah, out of doubt.
- 14:10Speaker 2: So you gotta treat every possession like its gold.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Oh. I love that line well, and I think that's
- 14:14Speaker 1: a life lesson right there too. So with that in mind,
- 14:19Speaker 1: let's go to the ice and as we talked, about
- 14:23Speaker 1: the Canadian The Hurricanes did win obviously Saturday Night, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: more importantly the storylines Luis John Tortorella and the Golden Knights.
- 14:35Speaker 1: KeAndre Miller, who was just on the Rangers a year ago,
- 14:39Speaker 1: almost having that.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Alex. He's playing spectacular, almost.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Having like a sa Quan season where he lived in
- 14:46Speaker 1: New York and gets on a team that's in the final,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you know, like in the championship. Now, I think like
- 14:54Speaker 1: sa Quon winning Bowl his first year out of New York,
- 14:56Speaker 1: ke Andre has a very good chance of winning a
- 14:59Speaker 1: Cup his very first year out of New York.
- 15:02Speaker 2: He's playing the best hockey of his career. Alex. He's
- 15:04Speaker 2: not turning the puck over like he did with the
- 15:07Speaker 2: with the Rangers, you know, the last year a year
- 15:11Speaker 2: and a half, he was like the human turnover. And uh,
- 15:15Speaker 2: obviously he's playing on a team that's a better team,
- 15:18Speaker 2: more structured, but he's playing great. Another guy who is
- 15:23Speaker 2: an older guy, DeAndre Miller, still a young guy in
- 15:26Speaker 2: the prime of his career. But another guy that looked
- 15:29Speaker 2: like he was done, uh, and he's playing great for
- 15:32Speaker 2: them is Taylor Hall. I mean, he's playing he's playing
- 15:35Speaker 2: great for him and he's playing his best.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Hockey back in the day.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He won m v he won m v P, he
- 15:45Speaker 2: won the Heart Trophy. But I look for a low
- 15:48Speaker 2: scoring series, I really do. Both teams really pay mind
- 15:55Speaker 2: to their defensive assignments, and uh, I don't don't take it.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I don't think you're going to see a high scoring series.
- 16:04Speaker 2: You know, Carolina is so aggressive with their four check.
- 16:08Speaker 2: You know, they basically play play like a man to
- 16:11Speaker 2: man defense, both up front and with their defenseman. Vegas
- 16:19Speaker 2: checks very well also. But both teams are very deep,
- 16:25Speaker 2: and both teams are big teams. Both teams have goalies
- 16:30Speaker 2: that have played great. But both both Freddie Anderson of
- 16:38Speaker 2: the Carolina Hurricanes and Carter Hart of Vegas are trying
- 16:43Speaker 2: to overcome different kinds of past troubles inconsistency on Anderson's
- 16:50Speaker 2: part in the regular season in playoffs, is he the
- 16:53Speaker 2: goalider that could lead us to a championship? I mean
- 16:56Speaker 2: it was with Toronto and uh he had you know,
- 16:59Speaker 2: he was trade to Carolina and Carter Hart we talked
- 17:03Speaker 2: about his problems that he was acquitted in that sexual
- 17:08Speaker 2: assault trial with the of his four other teammates when
- 17:14Speaker 2: they won the World juniors back in you know, back
- 17:17Speaker 2: in twenty eighteen. I believe it was seventeen or eighteen.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Louis, because I want to
- 17:23Speaker 1: talk about the generic, the general scope of things. No
- 17:27Speaker 1: matter who's the NBA finals year after year, I always
- 17:30Speaker 1: feel like New York does follow the NBA Finals, But
- 17:33Speaker 1: then you don't see New Yorkers following the Cup as well.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I mean, what can the NHL do better to say, hey,
- 17:39Speaker 1: watch our Stanley Cup. Maybe they're not doing enough, Louise.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I think the league, I mean it is what is
- 17:46Speaker 2: If you're not a fan of I'm gonna watch all
- 17:50Speaker 2: seven games of both series if they both go seven.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You know that, you know, you know I'm a hockey guy. Obviously,
- 17:56Speaker 2: you know i am a basketball guy. These are big,
- 18:00Speaker 2: These are big events. I think the hockey will get
- 18:02Speaker 2: good ratings. They're not going to get NBA level ratings.
- 18:08Speaker 2: There's really nothing more you can do. Some fans of
- 18:12Speaker 2: the Rangers, the Islanders and the Devils, they only are
- 18:15Speaker 2: interested in the Rangers, the Islanders are the Devils. What
- 18:18Speaker 2: is there anything the NHL can do? I don't think so.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I mean, this year, thankfully, the Stanley Cup final is
- 18:26Speaker 2: on over the air TV, not on tn T. I don't.
- 18:29Speaker 2: As I've said to you in the past, I think
- 18:31Speaker 2: the NHL made a huge mistake by not having the
- 18:37Speaker 2: finals every year on and over the air network. They
- 18:42Speaker 2: could have done a separate deal just for the Stanley
- 18:44Speaker 2: Cup Final every other year instead of having it on
- 18:46Speaker 2: tn T. A tn T does a great job in
- 18:49Speaker 2: the regular season in the playoffs, but when you get
- 18:52Speaker 2: to the finals, you want it on over the air TV.
- 18:57Speaker 2: People just run into it. People do not run into
- 19:01Speaker 2: it if it's on cable most of the time. I
- 19:05Speaker 2: think that. I mean, yes, they're small markets, it's not
- 19:08Speaker 2: I mean, ideally what they would uh they would want
- 19:12Speaker 2: Colorado in it, and uh they probably would have taken
- 19:17Speaker 2: Colorado and Carolina, but they didn't get that. And you know,
- 19:23Speaker 2: I'm interested, some of my friends are.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'm probably going to tune in for the pregame show
- 19:28Speaker 1: because we know Vegas goes all out with their pregame stuff.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Yet there, I mean, it's Vegas. They're very theatrical, if
- 19:35Speaker 1: you will so well. Carolina has that damn thing they spin.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I don't know what it is exactly, but they wind
- 19:43Speaker 1: it up and all.
- 19:43Speaker 2: That yeah, but then they'll have somebody I think, I
- 19:46Speaker 2: think the Hall of Famer Luke Keikley of you know,
- 19:50Speaker 2: it was a legend in Carolina, even though in Charlotte,
- 19:54Speaker 2: not in Raleigh. That's the other thing. A lot of people,
- 19:57Speaker 2: if you tell them where does the Carolina uh Hurricane play,
- 20:00Speaker 2: They'll say in Charlotte, But the Carolina Hurricanes play in Raleigh,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and the Carolina Panthers playing in Charlotte.
- 20:08Speaker 1: And I know this because I actually passed through Raley,
- 20:11Speaker 1: Raleigh on the way down the spring training a couple
- 20:14Speaker 1: of years many years ago, and in a oh my gosh,
- 20:19Speaker 1: what's that place called like Jack in the Box I
- 20:22Speaker 1: think I went into on our way down to Florida.
- 20:26Speaker 1: They had Carolina Hurricanes stuff, you know, so I kind
- 20:29Speaker 1: of knew we were in Carolina in Hurricanes town, but yeah,
- 20:34Speaker 1: you mentioned them. Though. It's been a fun fall and
- 20:38Speaker 1: winter for Carolina because even their football teams showed a
- 20:41Speaker 1: lot of progress, you know. I mean, it's it's kind
- 20:44Speaker 1: of fun to be in Carolina right now.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah. No, absolutely, And this team has been good for
- 20:49Speaker 2: a long time. You know, they were They lost seventeen
- 20:53Speaker 2: out of eighteen conference finals games and then they won
- 20:56Speaker 2: four in a row and they wore down Montreal. And
- 20:59Speaker 2: when you look at my Montreal, Montreal reminds me a
- 21:01Speaker 2: little bit of the Spurs. They were a team on
- 21:05Speaker 2: you know, on the common, They're gonna team that's going
- 21:07Speaker 2: to be very good, and they're very young. I believe
- 21:09Speaker 2: they were the youngest team in the NHL. They beat Tampa.
- 21:13Speaker 2: You know, they play the seven game series against Tampa,
- 21:16Speaker 2: then the seven game series against another up and coming
- 21:18Speaker 2: team in Buffalo. That's fourteen games. When they got to Carolina,
- 21:24Speaker 2: who has gone to the Stanley Cup Final playing just
- 21:27Speaker 2: thirteen games, the least amount of games to get to
- 21:33Speaker 2: a Stanley Cup Final in history. Montreal is exhausted and that,
- 21:38Speaker 2: you know, if you want to parallel that to the
- 21:40Speaker 2: NBA Final, is are the Spurs going to be exhausted
- 21:44Speaker 2: in this final? So you know, there's always a lot
- 21:48Speaker 2: of ways to look at it. But you know, Carolina
- 21:52Speaker 2: never never stops. They never end with that relentless ford check.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I like Carolina and said.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Well, one other thing, and my friend was putting this
- 22:03Speaker 1: out the other day. Brenda Moore has not been has
- 22:07Speaker 1: always been part of this team since two thousand and four,
- 22:10Speaker 1: and he's always been in the playoffs as a player
- 22:12Speaker 1: or a coach. It's kind of cool to see him continue.
- 22:16Speaker 1: And maybe we needed to talk about that for a second. Well,
- 22:20Speaker 1: you know, you don't appreciate the coaching matchups enough in
- 22:23Speaker 1: these hockey matchups. But I kind of like seeing Brenda
- 22:27Speaker 1: Moore versus Tortorella. That's gonna be really fun to watch.
- 22:31Speaker 2: And uh, oh would definitely be fun to watch. I mean,
- 22:33Speaker 2: Tortorella could win his second Stanley Cup one you know,
- 22:38Speaker 2: one with Tampa, one with with Vegas.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And if he does, I hope he credits Brooksy for
- 22:46Speaker 1: all of his drawing back and forth, because I'm sure
- 22:49Speaker 1: he's I don't think he will not think of him
- 22:53Speaker 1: right now, you know, because.
- 22:54Speaker 2: That was Alex. He gotta be realistic. He's not thinking
- 22:57Speaker 2: of He's not thinking of Lovery Brooks had knocked down,
- 23:00Speaker 2: diregged out fights with He's not.
- 23:04Speaker 1: He's not who knows, but anyway, No, it'll be fun.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Uh And then I mean when it broke down the
- 23:10Speaker 1: Vegas players the other day and the Keynes players. Now,
- 23:13Speaker 1: it's gonna see how it goes. I see that Brendan
- 23:16Speaker 1: Gallagher hint that he may not come back to Montreal,
- 23:19Speaker 1: Is that correct?
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yes? I saw that, and uh, there'll be a team
- 23:24Speaker 2: out there. I don't know how much he has left.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Like I said, I was surprise. I thought he would
- 23:29Speaker 2: uh uh. They put him in a lineup for Game
- 23:31Speaker 2: five against Carolina the other night. I thought they would
- 23:35Speaker 2: put him in the lineup for Game seven against Buffalo
- 23:39Speaker 2: and they didn't. Uh, so I you know, somebody will
- 23:44Speaker 2: pick him up. I don't think that he's totally done.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I could be wrong on that, but if somebody wants
- 23:50Speaker 2: somebody who has who's a little pugnacious, and you know
- 23:55Speaker 2: it was on the cusp between development and content there,
- 24:01Speaker 2: I could I could definitely see him there. Obviously, he's
- 24:05Speaker 2: had a terrific career with the Canadians, and by again,
- 24:09Speaker 2: Flyers would be.
- 24:09Speaker 1: An interesting team to go on. If they're looking to that, well,
- 24:12Speaker 1: that could that that could be.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I could see him on the Flyers. I could see
- 24:18Speaker 2: him on Toronto. They need a little kick in the butt,
- 24:24Speaker 2: you know, coming off the disaster year that they had
- 24:27Speaker 2: this year, and you know, months from now is the
- 24:31Speaker 2: beginning of trade and free agency in the NHL. Month
- 24:34Speaker 2: from today, and I'm sure the Austin Matthews rumors are
- 24:41Speaker 2: going to be kicking up if he's going to stay
- 24:44Speaker 2: in Toronto or is Toronto going to trade him? You know,
- 24:51Speaker 2: so it'll be it's gonna be interesting, interesting off season
- 24:55Speaker 2: for the NHL. But let's let's get through the Stanley
- 24:58Speaker 2: Cup Final, which I'm really looking for, and I think
- 25:00Speaker 2: it's going to go to limit. I mean it's that
- 25:02Speaker 2: it's that tight. Well haven't you got You got twelve
- 25:06Speaker 2: thirteen guys, including Tortorella who won the Cup, and there's
- 25:12Speaker 2: something that experience you can't you can't underestimate.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Well, I know you want to focus on both the
- 25:21Speaker 1: NBA Finals and a Stanley Cup, but I want to
- 25:24Speaker 1: give a shout out this Monday night to a team
- 25:27Speaker 1: in Queens, not the Mets, not Queen's College baseball I
- 25:32Speaker 1: think the earlier, but Saint John's Baseball going to the
- 25:38Speaker 1: Super Regional finals.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Congratulations, they won a nice game today.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I mean, lou I just saw them a couple of
- 25:46Speaker 1: weeks ago in their home ballpark, and I'm like, you know,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you kind of knew they were gonna win the Big
- 25:52Speaker 1: East at some point because they had the momentum. But
- 25:55Speaker 1: they look like a put together team, and they've got
- 25:58Speaker 1: really great talent. In fact, one of the kids was scouted.
- 26:01Speaker 1: The catcher was scouted that day I was at the ballpark.
- 26:06Speaker 1: So Mike Campton's doing a great job. He's been there
- 26:10Speaker 1: a lot of years of course, learned under ed Blankmeyer,
- 26:13Speaker 1: and he's taking him further than anybody in a while.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So I'm excited. It is always fun to see them
- 26:19Speaker 1: succeed because of my personal connection to that team, you know,
- 26:23Speaker 1: knowing Patino, now I know Hampton, I mean just and
- 26:27Speaker 1: and New York City deserves to see Saint John's go far.
- 26:30Speaker 1: But as we talk about over and over, we need
- 26:32Speaker 1: more outlets than just mind talking about it. You know,
- 26:34Speaker 1: like this is a big deal at Saint John's.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Baseball's moving on, no, and if they if they advanced
- 26:42Speaker 3: into super regionals, it's uh going to uh uh be
- 26:48Speaker 3: more interesting.
- 26:49Speaker 2: And use has a great history. I mean we you know,
- 26:54Speaker 2: we know of some great players to have played there,
- 26:56Speaker 2: including John Franco and uh so it's uh, you know it's.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Not I believe someone who used to coach at Queen's,
- 27:03Speaker 1: Joe Russo, used to be the coach over there as well.
- 27:05Speaker 2: So I mean a.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Lot of memories. And you know, I remember gonna say
- 27:10Speaker 1: when Stonybrook was going far in their in their years
- 27:14Speaker 1: there a couple of times. So, you know, college baseball
- 27:18Speaker 1: New York is here. I just feel like it needs
- 27:20Speaker 1: more eyes on it.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and again we've talked about stuff like this in
- 27:25Speaker 2: the past. New York has so many teams, so many sports,
- 27:30Speaker 2: it's hard to it's hard to uh follow them all.
- 27:35Speaker 2: It just is. And that's why unlike say, teams in
- 27:42Speaker 2: the Southeast Conference Room, the Big twelve, where you see four, five, six,
- 27:46Speaker 2: seven people at their games, that that doesn't happen here
- 27:51Speaker 2: in the metropolitan area because you got the Mets and
- 27:53Speaker 2: you got the Yankees.
- 27:55Speaker 1: And uh, while the last Jack Frank Catalinado was coaching
- 28:00Speaker 1: Hofster baseball. I mean, they've got some good guys coaching
- 28:03Speaker 1: his teams, so.
- 28:05Speaker 2: No doubt they do.
- 28:07Speaker 1: But and and the other thing is when basketball goes
- 28:12Speaker 1: it sometimes brings a highlight to the rest of the programs, doesn't.
- 28:15Speaker 2: It without a doubt yep.
- 28:19Speaker 1: And it could be that Patino just changed the culture entirely,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and Hampton has changed the culture of Saint John's baseball
- 28:27Speaker 1: as well. But it's just interesting to see them both
- 28:30Speaker 1: in sync in the same year.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I love it. I love seeing it, so we'll have
- 28:36Speaker 2: no I can't disagree with you on that.
- 28:39Speaker 1: This is this kid you gotta gotta look up for
- 28:41Speaker 1: a kid named Cowen, Kyle Cowen, I think his name
- 28:46Speaker 1: or Cohen.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 28:47Speaker 1: When I saw him play, he had a triple. He
- 28:51Speaker 1: had like a double and a triple and a solid
- 28:54Speaker 1: single as well. He he, he hit, he gets the
- 28:57Speaker 1: bat on the ball. He's been helping him walk off
- 29:00Speaker 1: a couple of times, so keep an eye out for him.
- 29:03Speaker 1: A grease tea behind the plate is the guy that
- 29:05Speaker 1: was scouted that day. So hey, Hampton knows how to recruit.
- 29:10Speaker 1: And I don't know if you know the roster as much,
- 29:12Speaker 1: but I kind of just got to know it over
- 29:15Speaker 1: the last few weeks. And Evan Chappie's done a really
- 29:18Speaker 1: good job as one of our main starters. So we'll
- 29:22Speaker 1: have to see. And it all started because my connections Argus.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I met the assistant baseball coach who caught the last
- 29:29Speaker 1: out of the Biggiest Championship a few years ago now
- 29:33Speaker 1: at Saint John's Baseball and I got to know him
- 29:36Speaker 1: over the last few months. So small world, isn't it?
- 29:39Speaker 2: It is?
- 29:40Speaker 1: It is, Alex, now man, it gives me the press
- 29:44Speaker 1: box is named after it Saint John's Jack Kyser Stadium, I.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Think you know, yeah, absolutely, Bob Shephard, so Bob Shepherd,
- 29:54Speaker 2: tort Uh communications at Saint John's for many many years.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Great Bob Shepherd.
- 30:02Speaker 1: We miss him to this day. All right, Louis, Well,
- 30:04Speaker 1: your Mets hit on the hit on the West Coast
- 30:07Speaker 1: on a very good note after a sweep against the Marlins.
- 30:10Speaker 1: And look, I know the Marlins are not the cream
- 30:13Speaker 1: of the crop, but at least they swept them and
- 30:16Speaker 1: showed some urgency, right, I mean, you gotta love that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Well, especially after they got swept in Miami last weekend
- 30:23Speaker 2: and couldn't and couldn't hit their pitching. They turned it around.
- 30:26Speaker 2: They turned it around. Now, Alex, I I have no idea,
- 30:32Speaker 2: you know how the Mets are going to shake loose,
- 30:36Speaker 2: but hopefully they can get some of their key guys back.
- 30:39Speaker 2: If they can be around five hundred on July first,
- 30:43Speaker 2: at five hundred, I really think that's that's that's the key.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And one last thing about parallels. You talk about parallels
- 30:52Speaker 1: with NHL and MLB Tartarella and maddingly taking their teams
- 30:56Speaker 1: turning it around. Maybe madically had the same result in Philly.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I don't know yet because the Braves look unstoppable right now,
- 31:03Speaker 1: but there could be a wildcard team before we know it.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah no, And you know, it's so far with the
- 31:08Speaker 2: Braves had that series that season last year where everything
- 31:12Speaker 2: went wrong, everybody got hurt, you know, everything went wrong,
- 31:16Speaker 2: and that's something that's what the Mets season reminds me
- 31:19Speaker 2: of so far. And you know, and now this year
- 31:22Speaker 2: the Braves can't lose.
- 31:26Speaker 1: It's pretty And what about this stat If the Yanks
- 31:28Speaker 1: don't had that eleven running they're no hit most of
- 31:32Speaker 1: the game yesterday very well, or thirteen running. I mean
- 31:36Speaker 1: that's historic and of itself, but it's also baseball season.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Thirteen runs are winning and they don't do anything else
- 31:42Speaker 1: the rest of the game.
- 31:43Speaker 2: How funny is that, Alex It was. It's one of
- 31:46Speaker 2: the weirdest statistical quirks that you've ever seen. They send
- 31:53Speaker 2: eighteen batters to the plate, get third, score thirteen runs
- 31:57Speaker 2: on eleven hits. They steal four base they had ten
- 32:01Speaker 2: They scored ten runs before the A's were able to
- 32:04Speaker 2: record an out, and then the other eight innings they
- 32:08Speaker 2: had no hits and one base runner who was who
- 32:12Speaker 2: was erased on.
- 32:13Speaker 1: A double play and almost they thank god they scored
- 32:16Speaker 1: all those runs because the A's did make a comeback
- 32:19Speaker 1: a little bit yesterday.
- 32:21Speaker 2: The A's are pretty good, especially in that in that
- 32:24Speaker 2: bad Western division.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I know they're a little under five hundred, but I
- 32:27Speaker 1: think the Yanks had a show because especially the A's
- 32:31Speaker 1: man hindled them when they were in town. Yeah, mistaken.
- 32:35Speaker 1: They had to show the league, hey, we are relevant
- 32:38Speaker 1: and and win that Yank.
- 32:40Speaker 2: The Yankees are the best team in the American League.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I mean that's you know, that's in my opinion.
- 32:47Speaker 1: We said that last year Louis and yet Toronto won
- 32:49Speaker 1: the division. So I don't know, it's all it's all
- 32:54Speaker 1: up in the air at the moment, although I do
- 32:55Speaker 1: think for them to run it back and have thirty
- 33:00Speaker 1: six wins by the end of May. Sometimes you don't
- 33:03Speaker 1: even see that there. How about the White Sox. I
- 33:05Speaker 1: mean they're now at thirty two wins before the end
- 33:08Speaker 1: of May, and they had just recorded their thirtieth wins
- 33:12Speaker 1: in August. Some years, you know.
- 33:15Speaker 2: The White Sox have done a fantastic job. And unfortunately
- 33:18Speaker 2: they got a terrible bad break yesterday with the Mirkami
- 33:23Speaker 2: having a hamstring muscle pull and he's going to be
- 33:25Speaker 2: out four to six weeks. He was on pace at
- 33:29Speaker 2: sixty home runs his first year in the United States,
- 33:33Speaker 2: which would have been tremendous. So but the White Socks
- 33:36Speaker 2: have done a great job. I mean they've lost over
- 33:39Speaker 2: one hundred games three years in a row. Two years
- 33:42Speaker 2: ago they lost one hundred and twenty one games, which
- 33:45Speaker 2: is just unbelievable.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I also love Andrew Bennettendie. I've always thought he's a
- 33:49Speaker 1: great hitter.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Oh he's a pro. He's a pro, and he gives them.
- 33:53Speaker 2: He gives them a veteran presence that a young team needs.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And yeah, the White Sox, they've done a good job. Yes,
- 34:01Speaker 2: the division stinks, but that's I'm sure no White Sox
- 34:05Speaker 2: fans do not care about that. They've done a nice job.
- 34:10Speaker 1: All Right, One last thing I want to ask you
- 34:12Speaker 1: about because and this goes back to the Mets for
- 34:15Speaker 1: a second, because I got nothing really else on my
- 34:19Speaker 1: mind as far as the four major sports. Peterson being
- 34:25Speaker 1: in the bullpen. I'm so used in being a starter
- 34:29Speaker 1: so why they make that move this year.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I think it's what you're gonna I think, well, you're
- 34:33Speaker 2: seeing a lot in baseball, these stacked starters, as they
- 34:37Speaker 2: call them. Where I think yesterday Seattle did it with
- 34:43Speaker 2: Castillo pitching the last three and Miller pitched the first six.
- 34:48Speaker 2: They both starters. It's the new wave of pitching. I
- 34:52Speaker 2: don't get it. I think the Mets are doing that
- 34:56Speaker 2: tonight with Austin Warren and I think then Manaig is
- 34:59Speaker 2: coming in. Uh, that's Alex. I'm gonna tell you that's
- 35:05Speaker 2: the biggest change for me as a baseball fan, the
- 35:08Speaker 2: way the pitching staff is handled. And I don't I
- 35:13Speaker 2: don't say I don't like it, but that's the way
- 35:16Speaker 2: the way it is very very strange.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Well, Louis will have to see. I think the strangest
- 35:24Speaker 1: thing so far though, is that Yankee tickets were six dollars,
- 35:27Speaker 1: while the Knixt tickets have been over thousands of dollars.
- 35:30Speaker 1: And you could see real great baseball for six dollars
- 35:34Speaker 1: in New York, and I think that's got so under sold.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I mean, it's a bargain. Does see Aaron Judge for
- 35:42Speaker 1: six dollars to see.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Sure, Yeah, it's a bargain.
- 35:45Speaker 1: You're correct, Soto for seven dollars. I mean, it's just
- 35:49Speaker 1: unbelievable how we are now. Of course, should either of
- 35:54Speaker 1: them advance to the playoffs, we know those prices are
- 35:56Speaker 1: gonna shoot right back up.
- 35:58Speaker 2: But that's what the secondary mark has done. I mean,
- 36:01Speaker 2: let's face it, you know, fifteen years ago, twelve years ago,
- 36:04Speaker 2: there really wasn't a secondary market. Now there's so many
- 36:08Speaker 2: ways to get tickets. That's why nobody should buy season tickets. Alex.
- 36:12Speaker 2: There's no need to buy season tickets.
- 36:15Speaker 1: No, there's not any more, not anymore, because you can
- 36:18Speaker 1: literally get and you know, everything's so walkative. They're walkative there,
- 36:22Speaker 1: so you can literally just get a ticket for six
- 36:23Speaker 1: dollars in a row wherever you want. It's amazing to me.
- 36:26Speaker 2: So, no, you're one hundred percent correct. One last thing,
- 36:32Speaker 2: uh Giants bringing back Odell Beckham. I don't understand that,
- 36:37Speaker 2: but uhty.
- 36:39Speaker 1: They had he had They had a softball game over
- 36:42Speaker 1: the weekend and Scott hit a homer and OBJ was
- 36:46Speaker 1: there as well. I thought it was pretty some from
- 36:49Speaker 1: when I saw the content was pretty cool. But yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 1: Odell coming back, we know he's played with hardball before.
- 36:56Speaker 1: We know he's been in a Giant uniform before. And
- 36:58Speaker 1: they added three receivers and people don't really think about this.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Juju Smith is a super Bowl champion. I mean, he
- 37:05Speaker 1: was a big part of those Chiefs runs. I'm glad
- 37:08Speaker 1: we got him.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I don't I don't know how much he has left.
- 37:12Speaker 2: But what it shows new then the signing three receivers today,
- 37:16Speaker 2: I don't know how well Elik neighbors recovery is going.
- 37:24Speaker 2: They have a lot, there's a lot of receivers in
- 37:27Speaker 2: that New York Giant receiving room and not all of
- 37:31Speaker 2: them are gonna make a team. But that was a
- 37:34Speaker 2: little When I saw those three receivers signed today, I said, hmmm,
- 37:38Speaker 2: I wonder if it has anything to do with the
- 37:40Speaker 2: slow recovery of neighbors knee injury.
- 37:44Speaker 1: And that's a shame because he's such a great talent.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Oh, he's the He's a spectacular talent. And j Jackson,
- 37:52Speaker 2: Dart and him really only played together two games last
- 37:55Speaker 2: year before before he got.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Hurt, right, And I mean, look, I think him and
- 38:01Speaker 1: jamis connected well, him and Russell connected well those first
- 38:05Speaker 1: couple of games also, But you know, this is football.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Some of these guys have the worst injuries and just
- 38:12Speaker 1: never recover.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Oh absolutely.
- 38:16Speaker 1: But the other big story while we're on football, A J.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Brown is finally out of Philly. We knew this was coming,
- 38:22Speaker 1: and now he's going to be a headache for New England,
- 38:24Speaker 1: for Jet fans and Bill's fans. And look, Drake May
- 38:34Speaker 1: did an incredible job last year. Now you put AJ
- 38:37Speaker 1: Brown on that team, we could see them make a
- 38:40Speaker 1: real deep run at some point. With this team they.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Have well, I mean, obviously they got to the super
- 38:46Speaker 2: Bowl last year. The only thing left is to win it.
- 38:52Speaker 2: AJ Brown varible obviously, but together in Tennessee. I'm surprised
- 39:00Speaker 2: that the Eagles were able to get a number one
- 39:02Speaker 2: draft pick in twenty twenty eight for AJ Brown. I
- 39:05Speaker 2: thought it would been, you know, a second or a
- 39:07Speaker 2: third down the road because Eagles just you know, want
- 39:10Speaker 2: to get rid of them because of the issues he
- 39:13Speaker 2: had in Philadelphia. So the the Eagles did well getting
- 39:18Speaker 2: that number one pick. I didn't think they can get
- 39:20Speaker 2: a number one pick. I didn't really, but they did.
- 39:24Speaker 2: And A J. Brown is a great receiver. If he said,
- 39:26Speaker 2: you know, if he's and he should be into it,
- 39:28Speaker 2: you know back with Rabel if Vrabel is coaching this
- 39:33Speaker 2: year and who knows with his personal issues, what's happening there.
- 39:36Speaker 2: That's that's been quiet lately. But we'll see and uh, yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 2: are the new England Patriots better today than they were yesterday? Absolutely,
- 39:50Speaker 2: that's for sure.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Well Lou on that note, we'll have to see, uh
- 39:58Speaker 1: as the s progresses will have FIFA World Cup to
- 40:02Speaker 1: talk about in the next ten.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Days, in the wild months.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Yeah, if you don't know already, because they're already they've
- 40:09Speaker 1: been talking about it every day on Fox News and
- 40:11Speaker 1: Fox five and Fox.
- 40:12Speaker 2: It's been no Fox Fox has you know, they have
- 40:17Speaker 2: the contract for for these games. I think seventy games
- 40:21Speaker 2: are on over the air Fox and like seventeen on
- 40:24Speaker 2: FS one. So uh, it's gonna be all soccer all
- 40:28Speaker 2: the time on.
- 40:29Speaker 1: On And the US winning a friendly, I mean, I
- 40:31Speaker 1: know it's a friendly, but it's a good start.
- 40:34Speaker 2: So absolutely, I think the US will get out of
- 40:37Speaker 2: the group stage. I think they'll I think they'll get
- 40:42Speaker 2: out of the group stage and then then we'll see where,
- 40:44Speaker 2: you know, where they land.
- 40:45Speaker 1: And now I'm not mistaken. I think there's a bunch
- 40:47Speaker 1: of confusion where the final is. The final is not MetLife, right.
- 40:52Speaker 2: No, the finals at MetLife, Oh it is. Excuse me,
- 40:54Speaker 2: it's at New York New Jersey Stadium.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Okay, it is because I know SOFI is having contests
- 41:01Speaker 1: over there as well.
- 41:02Speaker 2: So yeah, now the finals at MetLife July nineteenth, and
- 41:09Speaker 2: I think that Sunday it's I think July nineteenth is
- 41:11Speaker 2: the Sunday. And yeah, the one side of there.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I used to play over there.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Oh, I saw many I saw many Cosmo games there
- 41:20Speaker 2: and it was happening.
- 41:22Speaker 1: And then Metro Stars played for a long time over.
- 41:25Speaker 2: There, Yes they did. I saw the Metro Stars play there,
- 41:28Speaker 2: and I saw nineteen ninety four. I swored three World
- 41:31Speaker 2: Cup games they're including the semi final between Italy and.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Let me get you, only paid like sixty bucks compared
- 41:36Speaker 1: to well, it.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Wasn't it's like it was today, that's for sure. I
- 41:39Speaker 2: paid whatever it was sixty seventy five bucks and there
- 41:45Speaker 2: was no trouble parking. Now I hear parking is going
- 41:47Speaker 2: to not only be astronomically high, but they're using parking
- 41:53Speaker 2: spaces for other things besides parking, So you're gonna have
- 41:58Speaker 2: to take shuttles there. I will not be attending. I'll
- 42:01Speaker 2: be watching right where I'm talking to you from now
- 42:05Speaker 2: in my living room, watching it, watching it on Fox,
- 42:09Speaker 2: and relaxing.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Well, that's Terminila's take on a whole swath of things,
- 42:15Speaker 1: and I feel like these takes are gonna get even
- 42:18Speaker 1: better as the summer rolls around, because there's gonna be
- 42:21Speaker 1: a lot to talk about. There's gonna be a lot,
- 42:24Speaker 1: especially if after four games there's a certain Hilari O'Brien
- 42:31Speaker 1: trophy in New York. That's gonna be a lot to
- 42:33Speaker 1: talk about. But one possession out of time as we
- 42:36Speaker 1: talk about. All right, Lud, thanks for your take this
- 42:39Speaker 1: week on Terminilo's take.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Alex, thank you very much. Always pleasure to doing this.
- 42:45Speaker 2: You know it all right.
- 42:47Speaker 1: We'll be back with more at one Lego Balax Media.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Thanks for listening as always,
