  I think what was interesting this weekend just to get us

  started as the be events. You know, athlete X is best at

  this event but we're going to run in off of it just to, you

  of some be events. My favorite non-starting gator,

  Running people down the straightaway, again.

  Just want to get us started with the commercials from a Florida,

  relays. Well, the first thing I want to

  say about the floor, relays is, you know, big and probably

  should've did some heartbeat props.

  But big, big shout out to the officials to my coaching staff

  to the, to the staff here at the University.

  For, I mean, I'd, we got me completely shut down Thursday

  night. My director of Ops Adrian,

  Melendez, you know, we all in my staff, we sit down.

  Come up with a plan to get everything done.

  Only thing, we'd only event that we did not run this weekend was

  a high school boys and girls long jobs that was it.

  We got everything done on Friday which is incredible beautiful

  day. And then we got a sweep with a

  stone that was supposed to last for like, 90 minutes on Saturday
• 5:40
  because of some wind current changes in the being a six-hour
• 5:43
  storm. Oh my gosh.

  Again we said Down and you know, we get the schools that aren't
• 5:50
  coming back and we condense the Heats and know we put on the
• 5:54
  track meet and there were some great performances.

  I mean, big shout-out to a be Steiner and and I'm just telling

  y'all folks I witnessed this. There's more in there clearly,

  you know, you can see that know, maybe it's because she knows
• 6:14
  she's got 100 instead of a 60 that she's not.

  Aegis about her starts. Her start with very patient and

  consistent Abby's a problem cause she's a problem.

  Yeah, she is. Well since there's room spent a

  lot of time on the East Coast with track is back segment.

  thing I saw you know, live and in person this past weekend is I

  say the rest of it, but Jerry is Cooper and Stanford have a

  freshman A legitimate bona fide, 1007, wind legal running

  freshman, and you just got to go watch the tape.

  Because to take a very gifted high-school boy, for instance,

  who's jump 215 and spend the money necessary to get him.

  And the time necessary to coach him that you 25 and above

  doesn't make any sense. When you can find any number of

  international kids who have jumped to 23 or 221, and they

  may be two years older. But they now have the same
• 1:11:42
  eligibility as a high school kid.

  And so in the technical events, the high jump, the pole vault,

  The discus, the javelin, mostly the field events.

  It is without question I think suppressing and shrinking our

  pool of athletes in both genders only because I mean I hate to be

  glib but like in Clyde's words like it's just it's good

  business. At the end of the day, if I'm

  making six figures and I'm the head coach of a power 5 team,

  like nobody's going to give me credit for winning a national

  championship with All-American kids.

  internationally and what's available nationally is much

  better by end of story. They have fewer moving parts,

  So, like at the end of the day, like that just makes sense and

  it's caused the whole lot of of American throwers.
