Transcript
- 0:09Speaker 1: Inside the Birds is back.
- 0:13Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 0:13Speaker 3: Everybody?
- 0:14Speaker 1: It's Jeff Mosher and Adam Kaplan here and we are
- 0:16Speaker 1: going to start a podcast series that we did last year.
- 0:19Speaker 3: We might have even done it the year before.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I really like this concept, Adam that we do, which
- 0:23Speaker 1: is what's it going to take for the Eagles to
- 0:25Speaker 1: get back to the Super Bowl? And the reason we
- 0:27Speaker 1: can do this podcast over the last few years is
- 0:30Speaker 1: because the Eagles consistently are in the playoffs. They're consistently
- 0:33Speaker 1: one of the best teams in the NFL from a
- 0:36Speaker 1: roster standpoint, right, It's not like if three of six
- 0:39Speaker 1: years they were last place or not even like the rebuilding,
- 0:43Speaker 1: we wouldn't.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Be able to do this.
- 0:44Speaker 1: But each year the Eagles expect to be in the
- 0:48Speaker 1: Super Bowl conversation, and this year their roster is good
- 0:51Speaker 1: enough to.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Be in it. In it may not be the number
- 0:55Speaker 3: one team going into.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It, but good enough, and we're going to talk about
- 0:59Speaker 1: what it's going to take for that to happen.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, this is different from depth charts or team needs.
- 1:07Speaker 2: This is really to win a Super Bowl. What's going
- 1:09Speaker 2: to have to happen. It's not just players, it's coaches,
- 1:12Speaker 2: we're gonna talk about some coaches, particularly the head coach,
- 1:15Speaker 2: who's got to do a better job than last season.
- 1:18Speaker 2: We saw what happened in twenty three. When you don't
- 1:19Speaker 2: do a good enough job, you don't go anywhere. Despite
- 1:22Speaker 2: that great run, they crashed on both sides of football.
- 1:24Speaker 2: But Siriani is one of the best head coaches in
- 1:27Speaker 2: the league, there's no question, But he could do a
- 1:28Speaker 2: better job. We'll get into what we're headed there, and
- 1:31Speaker 2: then the front office has has their challenges too, which
- 1:34Speaker 2: we'll talk about a lot of the stuff we've never
- 1:35Speaker 2: talked about before. So this is good.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be great to get inside it. So again,
- 1:39Speaker 1: this one will start off offensively. What will it take
- 1:42Speaker 1: for this team, which has really struggled at times offensively
- 1:47Speaker 1: over the last few years, especially in the pass offense,
- 1:49Speaker 1: now to be good enough so that the team overall
- 1:53Speaker 1: can get back to the Super Bowl. And Adam, you
- 1:55Speaker 1: and I both agree it's got to start with the
- 1:58Speaker 1: run game again. It was a loss art last year
- 2:01Speaker 1: for them. It was like taking their superpower away. Teams
- 2:05Speaker 1: found the kryptonite, whether it was offensive line health or
- 2:08Speaker 1: the way defenses were even defending some of their run schemes.
- 2:11Speaker 1: What it did was lead to a total implosion. I mean,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I think the Eagles led the NFL in three and
- 2:17Speaker 1: outs by leave some bounds over whoever was the second worst.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And then obviously it led to it not just a
- 2:24Speaker 1: firing of a play caller, but then a complete and
- 2:27Speaker 1: total changing of an offensive scheme that is built on
- 2:32Speaker 1: running the ball and play action off of that.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is where look, Sirianni and the coaches
- 2:40Speaker 2: don't control the health of the offensive line. But if
- 2:44Speaker 2: they're healthy enough, we'll start to learn a little bit
- 2:46Speaker 2: of that in training camp. You're not totally, but you'll
- 2:48Speaker 2: get some sort of a picture of how you are healthwise.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But you'll learn the rest of it during the regular season.
- 2:53Speaker 2: But if they're relatively healthy or healthy or obviously have
- 2:55Speaker 2: to be healthier than last season, how could they not be,
- 2:58Speaker 2: They're going to be better. They're going to be better now.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Obviously they have a new offensive line coach. You mentioned
- 3:02Speaker 2: the scheme change, you play caller, change your first time
- 3:05Speaker 2: play calling Sean Mannion, and Sirianni's got to do a
- 3:08Speaker 2: better job of coaching his coaches. Like last season was
- 3:10Speaker 2: not good, you could blame petula all you want, Well,
- 3:13Speaker 2: guess who hired him. They head coached it. It was
- 3:15Speaker 2: his call, right, And when it's not going well, you
- 3:18Speaker 2: see what happens that Buffalo game when he was pressed,
- 3:22Speaker 2: he goes barely won that game at Buffalo. It was
- 3:25Speaker 2: a defensive struggle, and Nick was asked about it, about
- 3:30Speaker 2: what happened, and he said he had to help Kevin.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And even your dog doesn't agree.
- 3:36Speaker 3: He rarely does.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Oh it's a hit.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I don't mind.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I thought it was a shake, but Nick Nick said, hey,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I got to do a better job of helping Kevin.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And then almost someone followed up. But then he said,
- 3:46Speaker 2: he jumps in and goes, well, I also have to
- 3:47Speaker 2: coach the football team. Well, guess what this is what
- 3:50Speaker 2: a senior offensive assistant is. That's why you need that guy, right,
- 3:53Speaker 2: You need someone to take some pressure off of view.
- 3:56Speaker 2: You're you're a non play calling head coach. Okay, your
- 4:00Speaker 2: scheme anymore, not your offense anymore. You're gonna be freed
- 4:03Speaker 2: up here. I don't no more excuses. You got to
- 4:05Speaker 2: do a better job. You don't have to micromanage. Got
- 4:07Speaker 2: to like guys do their job. But when they're struggling.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You got to figure out the root cause and make
- 4:13Speaker 2: the correction. He did not do a good job of
- 4:14Speaker 2: that last season.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Agree.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I like how you say the no more excuses
- 4:18Speaker 1: topic because I think that carries into how they have.
- 4:22Speaker 3: To be this year.
- 4:23Speaker 1: In terms of their run game that we're talking about.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I don't know that they need to weaponize it the
- 4:30Speaker 1: way they did two years ago when they won the
- 4:31Speaker 1: Super Bowl, when the passing game basically was almost an
- 4:36Speaker 1: after I don't call it an afterthought, but it was
- 4:38Speaker 1: a second fiddle. The run game was everything, especially in
- 4:40Speaker 1: the second half, and then yes, in the playoffs, the
- 4:43Speaker 1: passing game really took to form. I mean, the defense
- 4:47Speaker 1: created a lot of turnovers and pass balls in the hands,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and then we saw them score fifty five points in
- 4:51Speaker 1: the NFC Championship Game and then of course dominate the
- 4:53Speaker 1: Super Bowl. But for the most part, the pass offense
- 4:56Speaker 1: was way behind the rushing offense. The whole point of
- 4:59Speaker 1: this is not to get back to twenty twenty four.
- 5:02Speaker 1: For a fan, that's fine, they care all they care
- 5:04Speaker 1: about is winning the Super Bowl. But from an organizational standpoint,
- 5:07Speaker 1: this offense is not supposed to be so that you
- 5:10Speaker 1: have to be like two years ago, where you need
- 5:13Speaker 1: to run the ball so fiercely and so much better
- 5:16Speaker 1: than everybody else and so explosively that the pass game
- 5:19Speaker 1: can just chug along and chug along. The whole point
- 5:21Speaker 1: of this is to build a consistency so that you
- 5:24Speaker 1: have a strong run game and then you have a
- 5:26Speaker 1: strong under center downhill play action game where you can
- 5:29Speaker 1: marry the concepts and everything looks the same.
- 5:32Speaker 3: It might look like a run, but it's a pass
- 5:34Speaker 3: vice versa.
- 5:35Speaker 1: So really, if people want the run game from two
- 5:38Speaker 1: years ago, you don't need that. You shouldn't need that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: The whole point is to get this passing game to
- 5:44Speaker 1: a respectable level where you're not ranking in the bottom
- 5:47Speaker 1: five anymore. So I don't see that it's important to
- 5:51Speaker 1: get the run game back. But to me, it's got
- 5:55Speaker 1: to be an effective run game, more so than prolifically
- 6:00Speaker 1: and explosion like it was two years ago.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It's gotta be better. It's got to be explosive. But
- 6:04Speaker 2: the thing that I'll add, and we're we believe this
- 6:07Speaker 2: is gonna happen, that they're gonna add the quarterback run
- 6:10Speaker 2: will be back in there. But there's no way to
- 6:12Speaker 2: know how much. It's got to be a meaningful part.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Like I know, some guys quarterbacks as they get older,
- 6:18Speaker 2: they don't want to do it anymore. They want to
- 6:20Speaker 2: do it way less. That's fine, do it, you can
- 6:21Speaker 2: do it. You don't do a lot. But Hurts is
- 6:24Speaker 2: a power vision runner. He's really good at it. He
- 6:30Speaker 2: could still do it. It's not like he's thirty five.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Come on, man, he's not even thirty yet like this,
- 6:34Speaker 2: and I know he stayed pretty healthy the last two seasons.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Mm hmm. But you got to make a meaningful part
- 6:40Speaker 2: of the offense. We're not talking about percentage. We're just
- 6:43Speaker 2: where we all watch it go okay, pick and choose
- 6:45Speaker 2: your spots. It doesn't have to be it could be
- 6:47Speaker 2: three runs a game, but make make it. Because Hurts
- 6:51Speaker 2: is a good runner. M h He's got he's gotta be.
- 6:55Speaker 2: He's got to be part of the run game because
- 6:57Speaker 2: because there's there's some guys who could run run look
- 7:01Speaker 2: at Lamar, Josh Allen and a couple others. It's because
- 7:06Speaker 2: with Hurts his arm strength, like you've got you, there's
- 7:10Speaker 2: a lot there that they're not taking advantage of. That's
- 7:11Speaker 2: why I bring this up.
- 7:13Speaker 1: This is an interesting discussion. I mean, because if you
- 7:16Speaker 1: look at the other teams that run the kind of
- 7:18Speaker 1: offenses the Eagles are about to run, they don't have
- 7:20Speaker 1: quarterbacks who run much, and some of them have quarterbacks
- 7:23Speaker 1: who can run. You know, Jordan love Ken run, he
- 7:25Speaker 1: just doesn't. I mean, he's a passing quarterback. He'll run
- 7:28Speaker 1: once in a while, but he won't weaponize it the
- 7:30Speaker 1: way Jalen Hurts used to weaponize his run game.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Do you.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Do you think that the the that hurts you just
- 7:39Speaker 1: said hurt should at least run three four times a
- 7:41Speaker 1: game too, because that's an a big part of what
- 7:44Speaker 1: he does. If he doesn't, does that mean this team
- 7:46Speaker 1: doesn't doesn't move the ball the way it should, or
- 7:49Speaker 1: that the offense doesn't work the way it should, because
- 7:52Speaker 1: he really is the only.
- 7:53Speaker 3: I mean, Trevor Lawrence will the same thing.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence can run. They'll use them occasionally as a runner.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Most of it is freelance, but it's not design. I
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't I didn't watch a ton of Jaguars, but I did.
- 8:03Speaker 1: There was not a lot of design runs.
- 8:07Speaker 2: The bottom line with Hurts is there's more that they
- 8:10Speaker 2: can get out of them m hm. And particularly when
- 8:13Speaker 2: you look at Okay is sae quon Barkley? Is you regressive?
- 8:19Speaker 2: It was it just the offensive line lass season and
- 8:21Speaker 2: not Barkley at all. I know Barkley could have been better. Obviously,
- 8:24Speaker 2: it's more offensive line than Barkley. So we don't know
- 8:28Speaker 2: if we've seen the best of we're actually at the
- 8:31Speaker 2: point do we know if he's on the downward side.
- 8:33Speaker 2: We don't know that yet. We'll find out this season.
- 8:35Speaker 2: But I wouldn't wait.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't wait.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's a change up. It's not it early in Hurts
- 8:41Speaker 2: his career that it was really about him running. It's
- 8:44Speaker 2: no longer about that. It's more about his arm. That's great,
- 8:46Speaker 2: But there's other things you can do with Hurts because
- 8:49Speaker 2: he can run. That's the point. He's very physical. You
- 8:53Speaker 2: could always back off. You look at a three to
- 8:55Speaker 2: five runs per game. That's it. And I'm not counting
- 8:57Speaker 2: toush pushes.
- 8:57Speaker 3: By the way, but no, no, definitely not made To.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Make that clear, and we're talking about QB design runs.
- 9:03Speaker 2: We need to see that Drake May as a runner scrambler.
- 9:07Speaker 2: We mentioned Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson. Everybody knows that we'll
- 9:11Speaker 2: see like some of the younger quarterbacks and more scramblers
- 9:14Speaker 2: like Bryce Young a little bit design scrambles. Brock Parties
- 9:18Speaker 2: got quick feet. You see some QB runs with him,
- 9:21Speaker 2: good scrambler. But I just want I want them to
- 9:24Speaker 2: take advantage of everything that's there, and we haven't. We
- 9:26Speaker 2: didn't see that last season.
- 9:28Speaker 3: No, we didn't. And last thing on the run game.
- 9:30Speaker 3: And we're not here to state the obvious.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So we know everybody knows that the health of the
- 9:35Speaker 1: offensive line is the key to making sure that the
- 9:38Speaker 1: offensive line can function the.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Way it has in the past. We know that it's obvious.
- 9:42Speaker 3: But they do also have to adjust to an entirely
- 9:46Speaker 3: new blocking scheme.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And I don't know that that's going to be like
- 9:50Speaker 1: a finger snap, but I think you've seen other teams
- 9:52Speaker 1: have to do that, and you know.
- 9:54Speaker 3: I go back. I'll go back to the Jaguars last year.
- 9:56Speaker 1: They were not a very good offensive team for the
- 9:58Speaker 1: first six or seven weeks of the season as Liam
- 10:00Speaker 1: Cohen was implementing his version of his McVeagh offense, and
- 10:05Speaker 1: that didn't look great, and then all of a sudden
- 10:07Speaker 1: second half of the year it did. It was crazy
- 10:09Speaker 1: to be Yeah, this is gonna be a big learning
- 10:11Speaker 1: cur and listen, he doesn't have the offensive line talent
- 10:13Speaker 1: that Eagles have.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Now, as long as you're healthy, they should be pretty good.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Here's why. Okay, let's go to another point. You and
- 10:21Speaker 2: I see and a lot of people watching know this.
- 10:24Speaker 2: We've talked about. We'll expand on. This leads into what
- 10:26Speaker 2: you were just talking about. So Trevor Lawrence was had
- 10:29Speaker 2: really to be honest with he. I don't want to
- 10:31Speaker 2: call him a bus Before last season, he'd been in disappointment.
- 10:33Speaker 2: There's no way to defend it. Great contract, very up
- 10:36Speaker 2: and down, more down than up. And then I don't
- 10:39Speaker 2: want to call him a leap. But he really took off. Okay,
- 10:42Speaker 2: he really took off. I mean you never probably heard
- 10:44Speaker 2: of Parker Washington. He became a player. Brenton Straaman came.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I right, Brenton Strange, Okay, became a player. Good quarterback
- 10:54Speaker 2: play makes everyone around them better. We saw what happened
- 10:57Speaker 2: at twenty two with Hurts. Everybody knows the timing element
- 11:00Speaker 2: of this. He just has to be more consistent. And
- 11:03Speaker 2: we've talked a lot about this offseason, so we don't
- 11:05Speaker 2: need to stay on this very much. He knows he's
- 11:07Speaker 2: got to throw on time. But the coaches mush must
- 11:10Speaker 2: reach him, coach him harder. We've talked about hard coaching
- 11:13Speaker 2: for nine years. We started this in seventeen. Ratings he's
- 11:16Speaker 2: made when we started this in the show, like hard
- 11:19Speaker 2: coaches are not yelling. It's pointing it out and not
- 11:21Speaker 2: letting this guy rest, like you don't let your quarterback.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Like whatever Liam Cohen did with Trevor Lawrence, it worked.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I know it's seven weeks, but it worked.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And it was it was incredible. But there were fourteen
- 11:34Speaker 2: to three last season.
- 11:35Speaker 3: I think, yeah, thirteen to four. But yeah, whatever he was,
- 11:38Speaker 3: it was iculous.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Notice Lawrence was the was the lowest rated quarterback as
- 11:44Speaker 1: far as passer rating through the first six weeks of
- 11:46Speaker 1: this year. I remember writing this, right, and then all
- 11:49Speaker 1: of a sudden, I think that Chiefs game, I remember they
- 11:51Speaker 1: won him on a he.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Ran Chris Jones play.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and then.
- 11:54Speaker 1: After that he just like it got better and better.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, you're getting to the
- 11:58Speaker 1: end of the year and you're like, holy cow, Then
- 11:59Speaker 1: Jackson are good and he's playing really well.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Right, but we're clearing the coaches here, we're not It's
- 12:04Speaker 2: not just in the quarterback. The coaches, you have to
- 12:06Speaker 2: reach them. You've got a young as we talked about
- 12:08Speaker 2: with with with the kid that's going to coach the quarterbacks.
- 12:13Speaker 2: M h it's it's a big deal man. It's uh.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Nick has got to do a better job, There's no
- 12:20Speaker 2: question about it. And then with Howie, look, i'll tell
- 12:22Speaker 2: you what, you gotta have better depth here. You you can't.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I like one of the things I like about how
- 12:26Speaker 2: he is he lets guys that, he lets him play,
- 12:31Speaker 2: communicating with the coaches. Then he decides what he's going
- 12:34Speaker 2: to do. Don't wait. My issue for them at guard
- 12:38Speaker 2: is interior offensive line, but specifically guard because you know
- 12:42Speaker 2: Kennl's gonna be the backup center. That's we've been talking
- 12:44Speaker 2: about the four months five months now. But what they
- 12:46Speaker 2: have to do is they have to get a guard
- 12:49Speaker 2: because with Dickerson's significant injury history going back to his
- 12:54Speaker 2: early college days, who the heck knows whether how long
- 12:58Speaker 2: he'll last this season. We know about I'm thinking about retiring.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Miles, heyns. He's not a guard. He's not an answer. Okay, yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 2: nobody knows how. He's got to be careful him, be
- 13:12Speaker 2: proactive because again, this show today, to make it clear,
- 13:15Speaker 2: this is not a needs show. This is to win
- 13:17Speaker 2: a super Bowl. You have to assume that Dickerson is
- 13:20Speaker 2: going to miss time. Okay, now, now, could they move
- 13:23Speaker 2: dragons over? Yes? Okay, that's the post. He's done it before,
- 13:27Speaker 2: He's done that before, but he's played guard before. That's
- 13:30Speaker 2: where he started first. But don't wait. If you want
- 13:33Speaker 2: to make a super Bowl run, you got to you
- 13:35Speaker 2: gotta check every box off. And they've got to have
- 13:37Speaker 2: better depth at guard.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I agreed. I want to expand on that,
- 13:42Speaker 1: but I want to go back to something you said
- 13:43Speaker 1: that I think is really vital, all right, about Nick
- 13:46Speaker 1: Sirianni doing a better job.
- 13:47Speaker 3: As a coach.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Right, And this is not an ex's and o's thing.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And you can disagree with me on this, but I've
- 13:52Speaker 1: thought about this quite a bit. He took some heat
- 13:54Speaker 1: recently for saying that punting is okay, you know, like
- 13:59Speaker 1: sort of a non aggreat kind of I forget what
- 14:01Speaker 1: where he said it or in what context it was,
- 14:03Speaker 1: but I do believe again, all these radical changes they
- 14:09Speaker 1: made offensively, they need a mentality change, and it has
- 14:12Speaker 1: to start with him, down to the offensive staff, to
- 14:15Speaker 1: the quarterback, because the mentality for the last few years
- 14:18Speaker 1: is if I play it safe. If I play it
- 14:20Speaker 1: safe and I don't turn the ball over or we
- 14:23Speaker 1: don't turn the ball over, then we will be fine.
- 14:26Speaker 1: We'll score the points we need to win. And Hurts
- 14:28Speaker 1: has been excellent at taking a sack on third down,
- 14:34Speaker 1: staying in the pocket, not finding that open guy who's there,
- 14:37Speaker 1: and then they punt and then they try again next time.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He's probably his sack percentage for a guy who has
- 14:45Speaker 1: movement skills that he has is way too high. I mean,
- 14:47Speaker 1: takes way too many sacks. And that's just because he's
- 14:52Speaker 1: just said this. He's like, listen, I'll take the sack
- 14:55Speaker 1: hold onto the football and we'll live to see another
- 14:56Speaker 1: day because I don't turn the ball over. But if
- 14:59Speaker 1: you're going to make all these changes on offense designed
- 15:02Speaker 1: to have a better more rhythmic offense, more fluid offense
- 15:05Speaker 1: with openings that you're supposed to hit in rhythm. You
- 15:08Speaker 1: heard Sewan Mannion say it's about hearing your feet. Your footwork,
- 15:14Speaker 1: your drop has to mesh with the play call. If
- 15:17Speaker 1: it's a three step drop, you have to hear that
- 15:19Speaker 1: back foot on three bam out right five step.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Same thing.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We've watched tape with Greg coo Sel for years and
- 15:25Speaker 1: then seen, Yes, he can do great throws down the field.
- 15:28Speaker 1: He can make every throw. But how many times have
- 15:31Speaker 1: we pointed out some of those designed quick hitters where
- 15:34Speaker 1: the guy is there and the backfoot's not planted and
- 15:38Speaker 1: the ball doesn't come out, takes a sack, they punt
- 15:41Speaker 1: and then they end up winning the game, you know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: twenty four whatever, because you know they had a nice
- 15:46Speaker 1: fourth quarter drive or Saquon.
- 15:48Speaker 3: And the right that's got to go out the window.
- 15:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I know that a lot of people love that about
- 15:53Speaker 1: the Eagles, and his mentality is we don't turn the
- 15:55Speaker 1: ball over, and that was good for what it was.
- 16:00Speaker 1: This offense is not supposed to be This offen is
- 16:02Speaker 1: supposed to change that, and that's got to be a
- 16:04Speaker 1: mentality change that starts with Nick Sirianni.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I'm not saying he he.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Should say it's okay to turn the ball over.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is.
- 16:12Speaker 1: It can't be okay to just keep taking sacks. And
- 16:15Speaker 1: keep having three and outs as long as you don't turn.
- 16:17Speaker 3: The ball over over. Okay, mentality and aggressive mentality.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It had. The belief here is it started after the
- 16:24Speaker 2: twenty three season when Hurts turn the ball over too
- 16:26Speaker 2: much for too many throws, and then obviously twenty four
- 16:31Speaker 2: he didn't have to do a whole lot because they
- 16:33Speaker 2: had Barklay and the defense just just don't turn it over.
- 16:36Speaker 2: That that's what. Yeah, we've been talking about this. Greg
- 16:38Speaker 2: was the first one and brought up. In fact, Greg
- 16:40Speaker 2: gave Jalen a great compliment. He would say, I'm paraphrasing.
- 16:44Speaker 2: He's said it many times on our show. Hurts see
- 16:46Speaker 2: him to understand his role within the offense, manage the game. Well,
- 16:50Speaker 2: don't turn it over and they're going to win. But
- 16:55Speaker 2: you're saying you don't want to. That can't be your mentality.
- 16:57Speaker 2: He's way too tolerantly. He's making too much money. Obviously
- 17:00Speaker 2: he's gonna want a new deal after the season because
- 17:02Speaker 2: his contract changed it significantly in terms of guaranteed money. Right,
- 17:05Speaker 2: I'm fascinated to see how this is going to work.
- 17:07Speaker 2: But on your point on three, five and seven, three
- 17:11Speaker 2: step typically is one point one to one point three
- 17:15Speaker 2: five step is one point five one point seven to
- 17:18Speaker 2: one point nine is seven, depending which coach you took.
- 17:21Speaker 2: But this is from the tell the coaches over the
- 17:22Speaker 2: years that balls like you talked about the back foot
- 17:25Speaker 2: three step drop, it's rhythmic, it's timing. It's got to happen. Uh.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Looking forward to seeing that in training camp because as
- 17:35Speaker 2: we correctly predicted, the reporters would go to OTA's and
- 17:38Speaker 2: they ripped the Oh looks terrible. Of course it's not
- 17:40Speaker 2: gonna lookod. We knew, we told people this is not
- 17:42Speaker 2: gona look good.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Hm.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Everybody's learning a new offense. You mentioned the offensive lineman.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It's all got to be rhythmic. So yeah, I mean
- 17:47Speaker 2: other than that on offense. Oh, what we really haven't talked.
- 17:51Speaker 2: We've talked about this in passing.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You have something that I that I completely agree with
- 17:55Speaker 1: that we really should talk about.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Something we've discussed and you have it here to talk about.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Is I don't think this works.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I don't think that the Eagles can can pull a
- 18:05Speaker 1: Seahawks of last year and just funnel that's everything to
- 18:09Speaker 1: DeVante Smith and think that they're going to win a
- 18:11Speaker 1: Super Bowl. They absolutely First of all they have. They
- 18:14Speaker 1: have more talent I think, from top to bottom among
- 18:16Speaker 1: their pass catchers than the Seahawks did last year even
- 18:20Speaker 1: without a J.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Brown.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And they they absolutely need a legitimate secondary passing option
- 18:28Speaker 1: to complement DeVante Smith if.
- 18:30Speaker 3: They want to be a super Bowl team. And that's
- 18:32Speaker 3: that's how I see. I don't. I don't think you
- 18:34Speaker 3: can get like.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I just don't think what you saw from the Seahawks
- 18:37Speaker 1: is the template for for how to win Super Bowl.
- 18:40Speaker 2: All right, Like you're saying, it's like, well, just because
- 18:42Speaker 2: they do it, we could do it. No, that that's
- 18:44Speaker 2: not That's not why they guaranteed Dantavian Wick's nine million.
- 18:48Speaker 2: That's not why they drafted McKay lemon. They want, they
- 18:51Speaker 2: want to have a deep passing target group. Now they
- 18:53Speaker 2: don't have a J.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Brown.
- 18:54Speaker 2: We get that that's the problem. But the best example
- 18:59Speaker 2: of you can win with a mediocre group of past
- 19:02Speaker 2: targets is the Niners. When brod Perty's at his best,
- 19:05Speaker 2: he's a top ten quarterback. When he plays on time,
- 19:08Speaker 2: he's I don't want to see elite. That's too strong.
- 19:11Speaker 2: He's really good, now, don't he doesn't have hurts his arm,
- 19:14Speaker 2: he's got hurts. His mobility, you can run. He's act
- 19:17Speaker 2: more of a scrambler. He's got very quick feet, but
- 19:20Speaker 2: he makes others around him better when he throws on time.
- 19:23Speaker 2: You could win with mediocre talent, but you don't want
- 19:26Speaker 2: to settle for that. As we just outline with Wis
- 19:30Speaker 2: and Lemon and Hollywood Brown, if he could still run well,
- 19:35Speaker 2: our guy Darius Cooper, We'll see about Elijah Moore, and
- 19:38Speaker 2: obviously Goddard and Stours. They're going to be fine as
- 19:41Speaker 2: a target group if Hurtz plays with an instruction and
- 19:44Speaker 2: the coaches can reach him. But the key is though,
- 19:48Speaker 2: so it's got to be someone else than Smith. Mkay.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Lemon should be fine for training camp coming off the hamstring.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You don't like that he missed time, but he should
- 19:56Speaker 2: be fine. And if he's ready to go, he their slot.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That's why they drafted him, which should play a lot
- 20:03Speaker 2: of the expositions. Somebody could play Acus. He's done a
- 20:05Speaker 2: little bit of it, but he's really a Z and
- 20:08Speaker 2: with Goddard and his athleticism, Stours athleticism look out. But
- 20:12Speaker 2: everyone's got to get it. As you mentioned timing, everybody's
- 20:15Speaker 2: got it. This is new people I know it's hard
- 20:18Speaker 2: for folks in our market to be patient, but it
- 20:21Speaker 2: could be a beautiful thing if you look at the endgame. Okay,
- 20:25Speaker 2: same for the Commanders fans. I know we have some
- 20:27Speaker 2: Commanders fans who watched with David Blau. He's going to
- 20:30Speaker 2: run a lot of Ben Johnson concepts. I'm told he's
- 20:32Speaker 2: gonna run a West coast and we'll see if he
- 20:34Speaker 2: blends anything else. But when you're learning something you've never
- 20:37Speaker 2: run before, the players have never run, it's not gonna
- 20:39Speaker 2: get done in two weeks. May not even look good
- 20:41Speaker 2: in training camp, but just be patient. These guys are talented.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You just gotta let it roll.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Hey, Philly fans, game day is stressful enough. Parking, traffic,
- 20:50Speaker 4: long lines, We've all been there. But when it comes
- 20:53Speaker 4: to your cannabis, Camden Apothecary makes it easy. This is
- 20:58Speaker 4: the dispensary for sports fans, just minutes outside of Philly,
- 21:02Speaker 4: with plenty of free parking. You'll be in and out fast,
- 21:05Speaker 4: no hassle, no waiting, and they don't just care about convenience.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Camedn Apothecary is all about the guest experience. Their staff
- 21:13Speaker 4: makes sure you feel taken care of every time you
- 21:17Speaker 4: walk in. Plus, they carry only the best quality cannabis
- 21:20Speaker 4: at the fairest prices, So whether you're stocking up for
- 21:24Speaker 4: the tailgate, the watch party, or celebrating a big win,
- 21:27Speaker 4: you know you're getting the good stuff without overpaying. They
- 21:31Speaker 4: even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 21:36Speaker 4: service members, and healthcare pros camedn Apothecary, top quality cannabis,
- 21:41Speaker 4: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 21:44Speaker 4: one and up.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that's funny. It's funny.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Every time you say something in passing it reminds me
- 21:49Speaker 1: of a bullet point that I wanted to bring up,
- 21:51Speaker 1: and I thought, I think, just like we talked about mentality, right,
- 21:55Speaker 1: patience from top to bottom, not just the fans, because
- 21:59Speaker 1: you know, don't make decisions on personnel, but the I
- 22:05Speaker 1: do think like when things are bad in Philly and
- 22:07Speaker 1: every you know, it's fans, it's media, sports writers, us
- 22:10Speaker 1: edering like getting on, then the organization fuels that right
- 22:13Speaker 1: and I can't. I don't think it's fair to expect
- 22:16Speaker 1: that they're just going to hit the ground running with
- 22:17Speaker 1: the entirely new offense I brought up the Jaguars, you know,
- 22:21Speaker 1: and even.
- 22:22Speaker 3: The Seahawks last year.
- 22:24Speaker 1: The first few weeks were as they were transitioning to
- 22:26Speaker 1: Clint Kubiak's offense. I don't think that they lit the
- 22:29Speaker 1: world on fire offensively.
- 22:30Speaker 3: I'd have to go back and look.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I think they've lost seventeen thirteen in their first game
- 22:34Speaker 1: of the Niners. Yeah, so there were then they had
- 22:37Speaker 1: some explosive games and they didn't. So I think I
- 22:41Speaker 1: think the organization has to not take a page from
- 22:46Speaker 1: a couple of years ago when Kellen Moore was the
- 22:48Speaker 1: offensive coordinator and he was trying to do X, Y
- 22:51Speaker 1: and Z and it was a little clunky. It was
- 22:52Speaker 1: very clunky for the first five or six weeks. You
- 22:55Speaker 1: know that Cleveland Browns, remember how ugly that was? And
- 22:58Speaker 1: the off Jags game. Oh, there were just some ugly
- 23:01Speaker 1: offensive games. And then and then yes, they ripped it up.
- 23:04Speaker 1: They said we're gonna go back to running the Eagles
- 23:06Speaker 1: offense and they won the Super Bowl. I'm gonna just
- 23:08Speaker 1: repeat this like until I'm blue in the face. That
- 23:11Speaker 1: can't that's not gonna happen again.
- 23:12Speaker 3: They're not.
- 23:13Speaker 1: You didn't make all these radical changes just so you
- 23:15Speaker 1: could trumple it all up if it's not working after
- 23:18Speaker 1: five weeks and say okay, we're just gonna go back
- 23:20Speaker 1: to running the ball ground to pound and you know,
- 23:22Speaker 1: trying to throw it deep down the sidelines.
- 23:24Speaker 3: That they wouldn't have.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Done everything they've done this offseason, including another first time
- 23:28Speaker 1: play caller, if they weren't totally committed to real active
- 23:34Speaker 1: change and offense from mentality to execution. Right, So they
- 23:38Speaker 1: have to be patient too, because they're gonna have a
- 23:40Speaker 1: great defense, and they might win some games because of
- 23:44Speaker 1: their defense early on, and there might be a temptation
- 23:46Speaker 1: to be like, man, this offensive thing it's not coming along,
- 23:49Speaker 1: But we have such a great defense and our running
- 23:51Speaker 1: games back, let's just.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Let's just do that. Let's just do that again and
- 23:54Speaker 3: then maybe the next year or what. No, you can't.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Right then, you got a question why the hell they
- 24:01Speaker 2: bring Sean Mannion in that. That's like, I'm not saying
- 24:07Speaker 2: it can't happen. I mean it's because but of hers,
- 24:10Speaker 2: it's not playing well, you could become more just well,
- 24:13Speaker 2: they're going to try to be a run team anyway,
- 24:15Speaker 2: regardless of who the quarterback is. Just you have when
- 24:17Speaker 2: you have Saquon Barket. They're telling you what you're doing.
- 24:19Speaker 2: You're not. It's going for the run game. But we're
- 24:22Speaker 2: seeing with the Phillies. Phillies pitching right now is elite.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Most shoutouts in MLB twelve. It's credible. Okay, But at
- 24:30Speaker 2: some point the offense has got it to its job
- 24:32Speaker 2: if they want to if they want to win a ring.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And here the offense has gotta car there's enough talent
- 24:37Speaker 2: here on offense, everyone, not just the quarterback, offensive line,
- 24:42Speaker 2: the running game. The running back's got to be better
- 24:44Speaker 2: than last season. Offensive line's got to be. It's not
- 24:47Speaker 2: they're never gonna have a season like two years ago. Forget,
- 24:48Speaker 2: it's not gonna happen. Absolutely not gonna happen.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Doesn't mean they can't.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You're right, that's my total point is that you can't
- 24:54Speaker 1: just like take the outlier and then consider that you
- 24:56Speaker 1: were your ticket to another super Bowl.
- 24:58Speaker 3: It doesn't happen that way.
- 25:00Speaker 2: But they could be a lot better. That you just
- 25:02Speaker 2: have to be better.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I agree.
- 25:04Speaker 2: And and how he's got help melt He's yes, let
- 25:08Speaker 2: these guys see what you have in training camp. Don't
- 25:09Speaker 2: wait forever, Okay, don't try to wait until the season
- 25:12Speaker 2: when someone gets hurt and okay, let's go with Michael Jordan,
- 25:15Speaker 2: the journeyman guard. That's a lot to ask me this
- 25:18Speaker 2: this Stefanwi Snoosky's of the world. That was a great story,
- 25:21Speaker 2: and I give how he's credit, but don't wait till
- 25:25Speaker 2: it has to be a great story. Be proactive. Everyone's
- 25:27Speaker 2: got their handed to get back. You know how hard
- 25:29Speaker 2: it is to get back with these things, to get
- 25:31Speaker 2: back to the Super Bowl?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 25:33Speaker 2: But they got a quarterback who's done it. Submitty has
- 25:35Speaker 2: done it. A lot of these offensive linemen we're there
- 25:37Speaker 2: and started. The tight end's done it, and we'll get
- 25:41Speaker 2: the defense in the next show. But there to finish
- 25:43Speaker 2: us off. There's a lot there that's got to happen.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Mm hm.
- 25:47Speaker 2: But everyone's got to be accountable for this thing.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think part of being accountable is understanding, right,
- 25:53Speaker 1: there's going to be growing pains.
- 25:55Speaker 3: But you made these moves for a reason.
- 25:58Speaker 1: So if they're two and three after five games, hypothetically
- 26:00Speaker 1: and the world hates them and the national media ates
- 26:03Speaker 1: them and the Philly fan base hates them, it's not
- 26:04Speaker 1: gonna be a reason that a to just rip it
- 26:07Speaker 1: all up. And I do worry about that with this
- 26:09Speaker 1: team though, I do. I do because Nick will be
- 26:11Speaker 1: on the hot seat as he always is, but especially
- 26:14Speaker 1: coming off of a first round playoff exit, and he's
- 26:16Speaker 1: gonna know that it's his hide if the Eagles don't
- 26:20Speaker 1: do well this year, you know, and then everybody else,
- 26:23Speaker 1: But really it starts with Nick, and you know, I
- 26:26Speaker 1: want to see him be able to say no, like
- 26:30Speaker 1: I'm not, We're not going to change, because he hasn't
- 26:31Speaker 1: done it yet.
- 26:32Speaker 3: It's always been revert back, revert back. He's got to.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Put the fist down and say we are soldiering through
- 26:37Speaker 1: with this or with this philosophy and trust us it's
- 26:41Speaker 1: gonna work.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And hopefully it does work for them.
- 26:43Speaker 1: But it can't just change or deviate or take a
- 26:46Speaker 1: back seat a couple of weeks into the season because
- 26:48Speaker 1: every because it doesn't look good and everybody's you know,
- 26:50Speaker 1: pounded on him, which that happens if they lose two games,
- 26:53Speaker 1: it's gonna happen. It hit last year, right they lost
- 26:56Speaker 1: to the Giants, and then who's it? Right after the
- 26:59Speaker 1: Giant they lost to another team. I can't remember their
- 27:02Speaker 1: schedule at this point. But you know, and the whole
- 27:04Speaker 1: world hated them, but they rebounded. You know, they got things,
- 27:07Speaker 1: They got things.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Right Bronchos and Giants.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Remember they had that that fourth quarter collapse against the
- 27:12Speaker 1: Broncos and then they lost to the Giants.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Remember twenty one. Remember twenty twenty one, Knick's first year,
- 27:17Speaker 2: they made the playoffs. He got off to the terrible start.
- 27:19Speaker 2: He out of the tight calling. They turned their season around, right, Nix, Listen,
- 27:24Speaker 2: we've actually been more defenders than the tract We run
- 27:26Speaker 2: after tractors. We've criticized when needs to deserve it. We
- 27:28Speaker 2: actually have gone in pretty deep. We thought he did
- 27:31Speaker 2: a bad job twenty three. He did a bad job.
- 27:34Speaker 2: You got to coach your coaches better, You got to
- 27:35Speaker 2: connect better. I know he's mister connection. But when you're
- 27:38Speaker 2: mister connection and you're missing it, when you're you're clearly
- 27:41Speaker 2: missing what's going on with their coaching staff, as he
- 27:43Speaker 2: did in twenty three till it was too late, you
- 27:45Speaker 2: don't have a great hold of your football team. That's
- 27:47Speaker 2: on him. That's not on Howe, that's on him. Gotta
- 27:49Speaker 2: do a better job, all.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Right, before we close it out, One more key for
- 27:52Speaker 1: me that pops up. I absolutely believe that they will
- 27:57Speaker 1: need to lighten Saquan's load a little bit this year.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Oh wow, two straight years of staying healthy with the volume.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I mean, he had all those injuries with the Giants,
- 28:06Speaker 1: and amazingly he's come to the Eagles and stayed so healthy.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But he's also had probably the NFL's biggest workload over
- 28:14Speaker 1: the last two years in terms of touches and certainly carries.
- 28:19Speaker 1: He has become in a way that I didn't think
- 28:21Speaker 1: that they could use him when he first got here
- 28:23Speaker 1: because of his injury history, but to expect a third
- 28:26Speaker 1: straight year of as many touches as he had, which
- 28:29Speaker 1: is also not even necessary when you have a guy
- 28:32Speaker 1: like Tank Bigsby as a backup running back and you
- 28:35Speaker 1: have a guy like will Shipley who has some juice
- 28:37Speaker 1: and gets some catches. But Adam the guy has had
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm looking at it right now. He had three hundred
- 28:42Speaker 1: and seventeen touches last year, after three seventy eight.
- 28:45Speaker 3: The year before. Okay, he'd never had.
- 28:48Speaker 1: He had over three hundred twice with the Giants, and
- 28:50Speaker 1: each time the next year they would get hurt. So
- 28:54Speaker 1: they're they're playing with Hower's stunning on thin ice with
- 28:57Speaker 1: yeah the house money skating on thin ice.
- 28:59Speaker 2: He's been hell here like it's you know, it's funny
- 29:02Speaker 2: because the odds makers completely missed it two years ago
- 29:05Speaker 2: for twenty four. I love the over. Two years ago
- 29:07Speaker 2: it was like a Remember it was like a thousand
- 29:08Speaker 2: and five, some ridiculously low one. He had it within
- 29:12Speaker 2: like eight games or something. But anyway, right this year's
- 29:16Speaker 2: it's much higher than it was two years ago, but
- 29:18Speaker 2: it's still very reasonable. I think it's might be I
- 29:20Speaker 2: don't have fun, maybe twelve or thirteen hundred yards. I
- 29:22Speaker 2: like the over. Yeah it's going to go through him.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I agree with you. And that's something in defense they
- 29:29Speaker 2: could do and we'll talk about the next show. But yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 2: get it. Tank picks be looked great. He definitely looked
- 29:33Speaker 2: at not the Niners game because they were on it.
- 29:35Speaker 2: The way he runs, he tries to bounce when he
- 29:38Speaker 2: can't bounce, he's not as good. So we'll see how
- 29:40Speaker 2: he adjusts. But as a change up, which we called
- 29:44Speaker 2: him exactly first time we saw him, and he goles
- 29:47Speaker 2: uniform of code, there's a perfect change up to Barkley
- 29:49Speaker 2: completely contesting styles. You love this, and they just don't
- 29:53Speaker 2: use him enough, like it's okay, you can let him
- 29:56Speaker 2: actually have a series, it's okay, Like there's nothing wrong
- 29:58Speaker 2: with it. It's like they're so against it all. Jamal
- 30:01Speaker 2: Singleton's the running backs coach. But you have a new
- 30:03Speaker 2: play caller. We'll see what happens.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Man, if you would have told me two years ago
- 30:06Speaker 1: that Barkley would have six hundred and ninety five touches
- 30:10Speaker 1: in his first two years as an Eagle, which means
- 30:12Speaker 1: over seven hundred if you count the postseason, I would
- 30:14Speaker 1: have laughed at you.
- 30:17Speaker 3: To do it. Yeah, exactly exactly. You would think like that.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So so that's another That's just something that they've got
- 30:23Speaker 1: a monitor and they actually have a reason to be
- 30:26Speaker 1: able to play their backup a little more. And I
- 30:28Speaker 1: do think if getting to the super Bowl is the key,
- 30:30Speaker 1: then keeping Saquon healthy is the key, and lightning his
- 30:34Speaker 1: workload is would be a big part of that.
- 30:37Speaker 3: That's all I've got. You have anything else, of fend, We've.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Kind of we've some stuff, you know, we were we
- 30:43Speaker 2: kind of met in the middle.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Yep.
- 30:45Speaker 2: It's it's it's everyone's got a piece of this offense. Man,
- 30:48Speaker 2: it's it's not on just one person. It's not a saying.
- 30:50Speaker 2: It's just we just outline it for you. You know,
- 30:53Speaker 2: it's it's next. Got to help his coaches out, particularly
- 30:56Speaker 2: a new one Manion. Got to communicate better and get
- 30:59Speaker 2: guys the buy in more. I don't think there was
- 31:02Speaker 2: enough buy in with the former offensive coordinator. They all
- 31:05Speaker 2: liked them, thought it was smart, but a lot of
- 31:07Speaker 2: we heard was that you could question the buy in.
- 31:10Speaker 3: It was ultra bad.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Right. The passing game was atrocious. It's called it like
- 31:14Speaker 2: it is. Everyone had a part in it. So let's
- 31:16Speaker 2: see this season it also could look like a beautiful thing.
- 31:18Speaker 2: But the point of the show is to get back
- 31:20Speaker 2: to the super Bowl.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Everyone's got to be significantly better. The quarterback, the running back,
- 31:25Speaker 2: the offensive line, ye, all of it. Game by calling coaching.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I didn't think it was that bad until we did
- 31:32Speaker 2: the show today. Wasn't that it was that bad. It's
- 31:34Speaker 2: just there's a lot more to it, you know what.
- 31:36Speaker 3: I agree that I didn't think it was that bad.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And then I wound up reading some stories from that
- 31:42Speaker 1: we wrote on Philly Voice last year, and one of
- 31:44Speaker 1: them was about how bad they were on third downs,
- 31:46Speaker 1: and then how historically on pace for like the most
- 31:50Speaker 1: three and outs in the NFL. Remember they were, they
- 31:52Speaker 1: were so far ahead of whoever was the second worst
- 31:55Speaker 1: team on three and ounce that it was. It was
- 31:57Speaker 1: discussing it's embarrassing, hitting you over the head how bad
- 32:01Speaker 1: things were getting.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Yeah, well, so that that's it. By the way, it
- 32:04Speaker 2: doesn't mean they can't be fourteen to three thirteen. Okay,
- 32:08Speaker 2: it doesn't mean they camp. It's just that this is
- 32:10Speaker 2: the point of the show is if they want to
- 32:12Speaker 2: get back to the super Bowl, make a run. Yep,
- 32:15Speaker 2: They've got to clean up a lot of things. And
- 32:17Speaker 2: it started for the front office of small things. We
- 32:19Speaker 2: just outlined everything that's about it.
- 32:21Speaker 3: All right, great stuff.
- 32:22Speaker 1: In the next episode we will go to defense and
- 32:24Speaker 1: we'll tackle on special teams there as well. To finish
- 32:27Speaker 1: off this series. That's going to do it for this
- 32:29Speaker 1: episode of Inside the Birds, the leading podcast in Eagles Intel,
