Van Eyk Sent Down After Brief MLB Stint | Toronto Blue Jays News
Blue Jays crush Mariners in a three-game sweep, capped by a shutout, but send rookie pitcher CJ Van Eyk back to Triple-A Buffalo just days after his MLB debut. Veteran Max Scherzer anchored the win with seven scoreless innings, 10 strikeouts, and one hit allowed. As the Jays build momentum, Van Eyk heads back to Buffalo to keep developing — a routine but crucial part of baseball’s grind.
