- 1:01And today, Elon Musk little bit of little bit of news, little
- 1:05bit of 9.2 percent. By on Twitter, it's almost 10
- 1:10percent and we can talk about that.
- 1:12We're going to be talking about the wet dress rehearsal for the
- 1:15SLS. We're going to be talking about
- 1:16booster, 74, Starship. We're going to be talking a
- 1:20little bit about some stuff going on at Starbase that some
- 1:24other people may not have shown you yet.
- 1:26There's a little bit of behind-the-scenes stuff.
- 1:28There's maybe a A delay for some stuff happening at Starbase that
- 1:35we were kind of hoping would happen in the next week or so.
- 1:39So the might get pushed back a little bit, so stay tuned for
- 1:43that. Thanks everybody for tuning in
- 1:45today. What's up Andy?
- 1:46What's up, Michael? NASA's continuing with SLS wet
- 1:49dress rehearsal after 24-hour reset?
- 1:52Yes, yes, I'm excited. I am one of those people, right.
- 1:57There's people that are strictly Starship Then there's people
- 2:00that are like go NASA go SLS go Artemis they don't care about
- 2:04Starship you know and then they make it about blue origin they
- 2:07make it about a whole team thing and they'll fight about it and
- 2:09I'm like why can't we just have nice things?
- 2:13Why can't we have? S LS we can have Starship.
- 2:17We can have blue Origins big Rockets.
- 2:20We can have all the big Rockets I think that's important.
- 2:23I think it's important to have more than one launch provider
- 2:25for these things and have more than one version.
- 2:28NASA's SLS does cause Has billions of dollars more than
- 2:31the others but, you know, you gotta do what you gotta do.
- 2:34Right? You know, it's a they create
- 2:37jobs, Etc. It's a whole, it's a whole
- 2:40thing. We could get into that some
- 2:41other time, but right now we have to talk about what's going
- 2:44on with the Elan. Because what in the heck is Elon
- 2:51doing? What is he doing with Twitter?
- 2:54It's kind of funny. What's up Neil?
- 2:58You're looking at tan. Thanks for putting in the hours
- 3:01in the house. A time.
- 3:02I am getting tan. I am like the whitest.
- 3:05Like, my skin is so pale and I'm, like, I've been out there
- 3:08for the last, like, two or three days and just, like, baking in
- 3:12the Sun, and not only is Starbase.
- 3:13I've been going to the island and like, hanging out, and
- 3:15stuff, and finally, it's coming around.
- 3:18So I tan Thai bird and then I tan.
- 3:21So, so it's like it's finally coming around.
- 3:24So it's pretty fun. It's pretty fun here.
- 3:26I actually enjoy it and I'm finally enjoying this.
- 3:30On again. Yeah, Elon Musk.
- 3:33Mesas investment at Twitter only because over 95% of his
- 3:36followers repaid. Twitter, Bots, just being real.
- 3:39It's, I mean, we don't know. You know, who knows?
- 3:43I mean, we're not the engineers at Twitter, so jet.
- 3:47That's what jet Eisen said. Michael Maxie.
- 3:50I'm concerned about what delays, with SLS will affect axioms.
- 3:54A x1's falcon 9 launch on Wednesday.
- 3:56Oh yeah. I'm a little bit concerned about
- 3:58that too. Little bit concerned about that
- 4:01too. I hope it all works and I hope
- 4:05it's hope it's all good, you know.
- 4:08But you never know what the SLS stuff because for NASA, that's
- 4:11the most important thing right now and the X1 mission is kind
- 4:15of it's important. You know for other reasons it's
- 4:19a private space flight but also SLS is super important for
- 4:23everybody else. If you think about it it's like
- 4:26NASA is such a big deal. SLS is Such a big deal for NASA.
- 4:31Also for the country to get people back to the Moon.
- 4:34That I understand, you know why they might push back other
- 4:38launches because SLS is such a huge, huge deal.
- 4:43But I am concerned to Michael, and if they keep doing that, you
- 4:47know, if they keep pushing things back, it's going to be
- 4:51kind of annoying. I mean, if you were going to X
- 4:53One participant, like if you're going to be in the Dragon
- 4:58capsule, How annoying would that be if they're like, oh yeah,
- 5:01you're going to go Wednesday and then they're like, oh wait we
- 5:05never mind. Hold on, hold on.
- 5:06You were going to make you go Sunday, you know, instead and
- 5:10then they're like, oh yeah. By the way, because they keep
- 5:12getting pushed back and that's the that's the problem.
- 5:15With private spaceflight working with NASA is that NASA stuff
- 5:19always takes precedent but they know that going into it too.
- 5:23So it's kind of a, you know, it's a thing, you know, that
- 5:26they that they sign up for. So, They understand it.
- 5:30Passing wind said, bad weather. Wednesday to.
- 5:34Yeah, the weather doesn't look very great on there, too.
- 5:37So, we'll see what happens with the ax 1 Mission.
- 5:40Now, Elon Musk, but 9.2 percent of Twitter.
- 5:46So let's talk about that. I want to show you a tweet here.
- 5:48Real quick from Elan. This is from March 25th.
- 5:53I'll show you this tweet from him.
- 5:56Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy.
- 5:59Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this
- 6:02principle? And the consequences of this
- 6:04poll will be important. Please vote carefully.
- 6:07Two million people voted 2.0, 35 million.
- 6:13People voted 70 percent said no, 29.6% said yes, Free Speech,
- 6:22it's a private platform. I want to know what you guys
- 6:24think about this. This, if it's a private
- 6:27platform, should you be able to speak freely, since Twitter is
- 6:32the biggest platform where people have the ability to speak
- 6:37with each other. So, think about that.
- 6:39It's not just, it being a private thing or a public thing.
- 6:43It's that it's a, it's a, it's a platform where people speak
- 6:47regularly, you know? So there's a I think there's a
- 6:51difference to wear. You know, people people kind of
- 6:55conflate it into Free Speech, you know, are you allowed to
- 6:58say, whatever you want to say, sure?
- 7:01But other consequences? Yes, you know, those kind of
- 7:03things, but should Elon have bought this stock, or should you
- 7:08be, you know, should he have made his own platform?
- 7:10It's easier to buy Twitter for him, he has the money, he spent
- 7:14billions of dollars getting this.
- 7:17There's nothing here, not do nothing with it.
- 7:20Yeah. So at this point all so let's
- 7:22take it. Let's take a little step.
- 7:23Up back here with this 9.2% share that Ilan has has gotten.
- 7:29He doesn't have the ability to change a lot right now.
- 7:34There's a board of directors. There's other people involved
- 7:37that are higher up, you know, he's a stockholder, he bought
- 7:41some, he bought some of the company, right?
- 7:43So he does have some pull, they'll get me wrong, he does
- 7:46have some pulley as a majority pull of the stock, but the the
- 7:52fact that he has to go through, People democratically through
- 7:56other people to make changes that still a thing.
- 8:01So just take that in a into consideration with his
- 8:05investment. You know, he's not in charge
- 8:09yet, you know, there is a possibility that he just, you
- 8:12know, he could buy people out to.
- 8:13He could get a majority eventually.
- 8:15But right now him and, you know, the other people have to work
- 8:20together as opposed to him. Just doing whatever he wants.
- 8:24He can't do whatever he wants. Not at this point.
- 8:27Greetings earthlings. Greeting Bob.
- 8:29What's up? My nigga?
- 8:30Substantial is investment in Twitter.
- 8:32Micromax has Elon, can say what he thinks about getting
- 8:34restricted or sanction. Yeah, yeah, he owns, you know,
- 8:40he's part of it. Now, he's part of that platform
- 8:42so he can kind of he has a little bit more pull now, right?
- 8:46So he can kind of do things, I mean, I don't know.
- 8:50Do you think it gives them a little bit more?
- 8:51Power jet says, it's The platform.
- 8:54If you want to use it you can it's optional for now one day
- 8:57case, maybe be that there is no option tread lightly Freedom.
- 9:01Seekers so yeah. And I think that's a that's a
- 9:07very valid point to it's a private platform.
- 9:10You have the opportunity to just go away, I do that, I do that.
- 9:18I don't use Twitter a lot. I use it sometimes but I
- 9:22sometimes I I just put my phone in a drawer, I do that every
- 9:27once in a while, like every day I put my phone in a drawer for
- 9:29an hour and I just don't look at Twitter.
- 9:32I don't look at social media, I don't look at my computer, don't
- 9:35look at any screens. Do it for an hour a day, people
- 9:37can not join Twitter, you know, the conversations that happen on
- 9:41Twitter, aren't the conversations that happen every
- 9:43place else to so free speech, functional democracy.
- 9:50Is this where people communicate the most is it on Twitter.
- 9:53Do people have the most influence on Twitter?
- 9:56It's a business though. So you have to think about that.
- 9:59Can you talk to your friends still?
- 10:00Can you voice your opinions to people in your community?
- 10:04Yes, you always can it. You always could.
- 10:07But can you also talk on Twitter?
- 10:11Of course you can. It can you reach a broader
- 10:13audience on Twitter than you can in your hometown probably you
- 10:18know it really depends. So, those are things you have to
- 10:23take into consideration when Ilan says this.
- 10:25You know, like, when he buys these things, it's the, it's the
- 10:30right to speak your mind, but they're always be consequences
- 10:33for how you speak your mind, you know, so that's a principle of
- 10:37democracy and Ilan. Thanks free speech is essential
- 10:41to a functioning democracy. Do you believe Twitter
- 10:43rigorously adheres to this principle?
- 10:45Most people say, know the consequences of this pole will
- 10:50Be important, please vote carefully.
- 10:54So bring that up in the first meeting Elon, when you're
- 10:57meeting with a bunch of people. Here you go, buddy, like here,
- 11:00look at this pole, over two million, people voted, you know,
- 11:04voted for this thing. Here you go.

- 13:07Sign up. I you with it it's really
- 13:09powerful and is really easy to use.
- 13:11So go to back plays.com / heel on back plays.com Ilan,
- 13:17backblaze.com heel on the maybe there's a sort of in-between
- 13:23thing, you know, where there's there's free speech on Twitter.
- 13:26Maybe there's another part of Twitter that's like completely
- 13:28free. I Know Jack Dorsey has talked
- 13:30about this before. There's another part of Twitter
- 13:32that is just the wildlands and you can do whatever you want.
- 13:37Whenever you want, talk about whatever you want, and then
- 13:40there's the regular Twitter, you know, there's the wild Twitter
- 13:43and then there's, you know, the wild crazy Twitter where
- 13:46everything goes and then there's the other Twitter, which is the
- 13:50normal Twitter where everybody like myself.
- 13:53I'm just like I just want to. I just want like a space News,
- 13:55man. I don't want to deal with
- 13:57anybody's stupid political opinions or anything like that.
- 14:00Like, I don't care. I just want to look at space
- 14:02news, I wanna see what's going on at Starbase.
- 14:04I wanna see what's going on with SLS.
- 14:06I want to see what's Going on, you know, with all the launches
- 14:08and stuff. So now I you know like I don't
- 14:14want to go to the wild west of Twitter.
- 14:16I want to stay in like this kind of this subsection.
- 14:21Well I guess the normal section where it's mainly just either
- 14:26friends and family and space news.
- 14:28That's all I care about. That's it.
- 14:31And I don't want to see the other stuff.
- 14:33You know the Free Speech Advocates which I do believe in
- 14:37free speech. Of course I don't I would never
- 14:39want to help or anybody's. Free Speech.
- 14:41But I think it's important that we may have to have other places
- 14:45where free speech is, okay. And there are platforms out
- 14:48there for that. So of Elon wants to, you know,
- 14:53get a bunch of other investors together and kind of take over
- 14:56Twitter. Is that a thing in the future?
- 14:59To let's talk about a little bit so 13g filing released today,
- 15:05according to the finally must purchase the steak on March
- 15:0814th. So, on March 25th, that's what
- 15:10he tweeted this. So he bought it on the 14th musk
- 15:14has long been, what have, you know, as 80 million followers.
- 15:18He's, he's a huge deal on Twitter.
- 15:23Let's see. So musk tweeted also that given
- 15:26that Twitter serves as a de facto Public Town Square,
- 15:29failing to adhere to free, speech, principles,
- 15:32fundamentally, undermines democracy.
- 15:36And he's also said that he wants to build a new platform.
- 15:39So, here he is buying part of Twitter, 9.2 percent stake in
- 15:44Twitter and also Twitter's price has gone up the stock like shut
- 15:49up a little bit this morning, he's a free speech.
- 15:52Flutist thinks it should happen, no matter what Free Speech
- 15:55should be available to anybody. And also, he said, at one point,
- 16:00that his starlink SpaceX is starlink, would never hit her
- 16:04free speech. That communication can go
- 16:06through Star Lake. And there will never be any way
- 16:09for him to stop people's free speech.
- 16:12So, you know, he's had his his problems with the SEC due to
- 16:17Twitter and that now, you know, he said some things I've always
- 16:22had I have it here somewhere. I wrote it down in a text box,
- 16:25somewhere was in 2018. Oh, yeah.
- 16:31Ilan said secured funding or something like that in 2018.
- 16:35And then the SEC came after him, and that Tesla's lawyers have to
- 16:39pre-approve all of his tweets pertaining to Teslas.
- 16:47Money basically sales delivery numbers and stuff like that.
- 16:50So basically, he was kind of like, I shut off from by the FCC
- 16:54it by the SEC due to that which, you know, you can't make jokes
- 16:59about that stuff, that's just part of the deal.
- 17:01Like, if you're, if you're a CEO of company, if you have that
- 17:05kind of stuff going on, don't do it.
- 17:07It doesn't make sense. So 10 man, says, if we've
- 17:13already seen major changes in communication between because of
- 17:15Twitter, for example, Ukraine asking for help from Elon was
- 17:19start like business deals have been made on Twitter and other
- 17:21social media. Yeah, yeah.
- 17:22Clear communication with politics especially political
- 17:27stuff. That's a, that's a big deal, you
- 17:32know? So the Free Speech there, you
- 17:36know is Eli going to have a point, you know, to prove and
- 17:40push that through where everybody can speak their mind
- 17:43freely. And I know people politicians
- 17:46have been banned from Twitter due to their policies.
- 17:49So you know is that That, is that what's going to happen with
- 17:54Elon Musk? I mean, there's so many thanks
- 17:56things that could happen. The quantity of Vlad, dracul
- 18:01says, the consequences of speaking?
- 18:03Your mind is being cancelled or not.
- 18:07Well, I guess scroll up here because it just popped up here
- 18:09and not being able to speak your mind.
- 18:12Sounds logical. Hey, happy Cappy.
- 18:14Thanks so much for that. Super Chat, man, I appreciate
- 18:17that. Let me get over here.
- 18:19Let me, let me get this out there.
- 18:21We got to get you some Starships, buddy.
- 18:23Happycabbie, anything will always be better than Facebook.
- 18:27I'm 100% with you there. Dude, I am 100% with you.
- 18:31Thank you so much for that. Super Chat.
- 18:32Appreciate that the strips to Starbase funding secured funding
- 18:39secured four trips to Starbase. Thank you so much for that.
- 18:43Yeah, anything will always be better than Facebook.
- 18:46Yeah, I had to use Facebook the other day.
- 18:47Let's get, let's go on a little little side like side tangent.
- 18:51I do use Facebook. The other day because I was
- 18:55selling something and I was like, well, the easiest way to
- 18:57do is through Facebook Marketplace and so I so I did
- 19:01that I did the Facebook Marketplace thing and I just, I
- 19:05hated everything about it. I don't know, but I hate
- 19:08Facebook is horrible and I go out.
- 19:10I only want on there for that thing and then I left, like I
- 19:15sold the thing and then I left, so I was like, I'm never I'm
- 19:19never going back. It's just like our people people
- 19:22post. Edge on there.
- 19:23It's like Twitter to Twitter does the same thing but Facebook
- 19:25is just horrible. So I'm there with you happy.
- 19:30This is this is an AI played by Elon.
- 19:32People are all missing this part of it, Twitter and social media
- 19:34cannot function. Without AI is the next step past
- 19:37test based AI o dang okay. Okay.
- 19:44So Jude that's a very interesting, very interesting.
- 19:50Take out everything. I like that up to, you know, if
- 19:54you want to elaborate, that's cool.
- 19:55But I haven't looked into that yet.
- 19:57That's really, really interesting.
- 20:01Huh, task-based. He's a, I am not a big.
- 20:04A, I like, I don't know, a ton about a ice F, so I can't really
- 20:08get into that. But that's really, really
- 20:11interesting and I'll take that in consideration, but I look
- 20:14into this a little bit more. That's very cool.
- 20:17So he Lon And that Elon tweeted us, check this out, Ilan,
- 20:22cheated tweeted. Oh hi lol, what a troll, what a
- 20:28troll. Oh hi lol.
- 20:31April 4th 11:04 a.m. so that's about an hour ago, an hour and a
- 20:35half ago. Actually exactly an hour and a
- 20:38half ago. Oh hi.
- 20:39Lol, lol. So I was like, yo, he Lon video
- 20:44playback is horrible on Twitter. Please talk to engineering and
- 20:46help out content creators. I want to Ice cream from
- 20:49Starbase on Twitter but not worth it.
- 20:52Yeah. That.
- 20:54I mean, like, come on, dude. You got some pull now talk to
- 20:56engineering. So Scott Manley says, so do we
- 20:59start asking you for an edit button, right?
- 21:06Yeah. It's it's a it's a tough play by
- 21:10Elon here. He buys a stake in this if it is
- 21:13for AI stuff. I know Tesla, of course, is an
- 21:18AI company. You know, the robot, the cars,
- 21:22everything. Of is a I you know they want to
- 21:25be as opposed to a car company be an AI company make the future
- 21:31basically. So if that's if that's the case
- 21:34and there's something going on with Twitter and getting data
- 21:38from Twitter for something or, you know, whatever it is, I'm
- 21:42not sure what it is, what they would use the a i play for for
- 21:46Twitter, but it would be really interesting to see where that
- 21:48goes. And if he buys the whole thing
- 21:51eventually, If he if he dislikes Like scoob's up all the stock,
- 21:54he had 9.2 percent, maybe he'll get 51% 50.5 or whatever
- 22:00whatever you need. Then do an AI move.
- 22:05That's pretty smart, man. I like that.
- 22:08Jess said, it's not easy moderating chat but before you
- 22:11go hiding people's comments just because you don't agree member
- 22:14that, that's the problem with Twitter.
- 22:15Now, I have mods to. Yeah, I have mods to and also
- 22:22hiding people's tweets. It's automatic sometimes on
- 22:24YouTube. So just so, you know, some most
- 22:28of the, most of those things they get automatically held in,
- 22:30then I do. Do anything with them if they're
- 22:32held. Then that's not my phone.
- 22:35Not my, not my deal. So Dave's with the space pants,
- 22:39Jude Jack Dorsey only has two point eight.
- 22:43Yeah, and Jack is the man, right?
- 22:45So Jack is the Twitter man. So Jack is, you know, he's a
- 22:52huge part of Twitter and I know him and he'll on our friends.
- 22:56So, do you think, maybe they talked about this beforehand?
- 22:59I don't know, speech recognition for future Vehicles, simplified
- 23:03commands, for users in their speech patterns.
- 23:06That's good. I like that.
- 23:07Yeah, there's got to be so much data from Twitter.
- 23:10Do they could the Elan could use for other things?
- 23:14You know, is this a strategic positioning from Elan to use
- 23:19data from this for as other projects, possibly possibly?
- 23:28I only have two people in my tutor Elon and a news guy.
- 23:30It nice. Nice, nice nice.
- 23:33So the The fact that Elon bought this, it's going to be a wild
- 23:41ride for the next few months to see what else happens.
- 23:44And I know there's going to be some, I hope there's going to be
- 23:47some changes at Twitter from this.
- 23:49I mean it's got me only says the edit buttons, kind of funny but
- 23:53the video playback of course, is somebody who creates content and
- 23:56would love, I would love to stream from Starbase out of
- 23:59Twitter, right? They make it difficult to do
- 24:02that, you know? It's just unbearable how you
- 24:08would do that. So I get it live streaming from
- 24:11your phone is a cool idea. But if you have gear, you know,
- 24:15it makes sense to make it easier to stream on Twitter and to
- 24:19monetize it. So for me, for me, that would
- 24:22make a lot of sense. That's what I'm hoping for.
- 24:26So, if there's anything else, I mean, I would tweet Elan right
- 24:28now and ask him for a stuff because I know he probably looks
- 24:33at the embassy. How many retweets?
- 24:36As to what a 31,000 point. Six likes sixteen point three
- 24:40thousand retweets. So you know whether their Bots,
- 24:44whether spammers whether they're real people, 16,000 people, he
- 24:47has, how many, how many files are they have?
- 24:49Let's find out 80 million followers, 80 point two million
- 24:53followers. Yeah, so yeah, 80 million
- 24:57followers. And, you know, 16,000 retweets?
- 25:02232,000 likes. That seems about, right?
- 25:04The ratio is pretty good. So that's not, that's not too
- 25:08bad. I'm sure there are Bots, though.
- 25:11I know this the tech a political show biz.
- 25:14Motivations are also about the censorship issue of Twitter yet
- 25:17and he said it to you said it before a storm storm D that, you
- 25:20know, he thinks it's free speech.
- 25:22You know, everyone should have a voice.
- 25:24It should be nobody gets censored Free Speech, advocate.
- 25:28He wants that to happen to. So do you Elon Musk?
- 25:33Give me back my Twitter account. I hear you.
- 25:38Yeah. Twitter has a bandwidth memory
- 25:39limit of how long a video could be.
- 25:40Exactly. Exactly.
- 25:42So there's that, there's that to like I would love, I would love
- 25:45to upload my videos to twitter and to YouTube, you know, make
- 25:48it a make it a whole platform and I know Twitter is a really
- 25:52quick news, right? Likes.
- 25:55You're supposed to get You know, get stuff really fast, but I
- 26:00think 10 minutes is, you know, if you're doing a 10-minute
- 26:02show, or if you do a three minute show, if you do a
- 26:04four-minute show five minutes, show, whatever I think it should
- 26:07be available on Twitter as well, but that's just, you know,
- 26:10that's my take as a content creator myself.
- 26:13There's other things that are probably more important than
- 26:16that Twitter in engineering and the what not just to kind of
- 26:20iron out in the background. So, let's move on to NASA.
- 26:24So there's a lot of lot of NASA stuff happening, the SLS.
- 26:29We talked about it a little bit earlier, they're doing the wet
- 26:32dress rehearsal, and if you're not familiar, this is when they,
- 26:35they basically do everything they have to do, in order to get
- 26:41the rocket ready for launch, but they don't launch it.
- 26:45That's the easiest way to put it, right?
- 26:47So, the, the easiest thing to say is they just don't push the
- 26:51launch button. Ian, but it's ready to go if
- 26:54they need it, too. So this is the test before the
- 26:57launch. So here we go.
- 26:58This is this was tweeted earlier today.
- 27:01I'll show you this real quick and then we'll go out and we'll
- 27:02move on a little bit. NASA.
- 27:04Kennedy teams are go to proceed with the Artemis.
- 27:06One wet dress rehearsal, the pre-launch test, for NASA, SLS
- 27:09rocket, NASA's Orion spacecraft weather is looking good fellow,
- 27:13NASA, ground systems. And here's a update from the
- 27:17NASA Artemis program. Cow dung for the wet dress,
- 27:20rehearsal has resumed at 10:52 a.m.
- 27:22Eastern daylight time and clocks of pick back up at T-minus six
- 27:26hours, 40 minutes on the clock, seven hours, 10 minutes, new
- 27:29plan to t- O of 60 2 p.m. has been established.
- 27:36So, this is the get into this a little bit too.
- 27:37And I want to show you guys this to.
- 27:38This is, this is pretty. This is telling of what just
- 27:42happened. Dems.
- 27:43Thanks so much for that. Super Chat.
- 27:45You are awesome. You are awesome.
- 27:49In earlier issue with an outage with a Under of gaseous nitrogen
- 27:54required for techie. Preparation has been resolved.
- 27:57Happy! Why is you're still going Deb's?
- 28:00There you go. You got your Starship.
- 28:02You get your Starship finally. Right.
- 28:04So, let's keep going with this. You get this for the whole
- 28:06paragraph, overnight teams also resolve the issue with a
- 28:09malfunction of the fans used to provide positive pressure to
- 28:12enclosed areas in the mobile launcher and keep out hazardous
- 28:14gases. They have a plan for operating
- 28:16the fans to prevent issues from reoccurring in the team, was
- 28:19able to successfully bring up and One primary fan through the
- 28:23night to provide confidence and it's configure to configure the
- 28:26secondary fan to run 80% capacity support tanking
- 28:29operations. So, there we go.
- 28:31SLS is being updated right now and, you know, we hope that the,
- 28:40the whole wet dress rehearsal happens and everything goes Goes
- 28:47well and up-to-date. You know, they get ready for the
- 28:52SLS, launch the Artemis, one launch.
- 28:55It's important, you know, as much as some, you know, some
- 28:57people are doubters. They're haters about this thing.
- 29:00But it's very important that we get people back on the moon,
- 29:03because in those people that have been sent to the Moon that
- 29:06data, that information helps people get to Mars in the
- 29:11ultimate goal is to get to people to Mars, right?
- 29:14So, that's the thing that's the I think we're working for
- 29:17getting people from the earth to the moon and then from the Moon
- 29:21to Mars. So that's the, that's the plan
- 29:24for the next 15 years. You know, like just keep doing
- 29:28that keep working on it. And this is the small, you know,
- 29:30a small hiccup. You know I don't think the SLS
- 29:36launch Tower was well grounded when it was hit by lightning
- 29:38says Michael. Yeah, I think it was I don't
- 29:42know exactly the technical What about that at this point?
- 29:47But yeah, it's I mean, it's a huge possibility.
- 29:52That's a thing that I could have had an effect on one of the
- 29:55system's there, right? Just hit the SLS locks
- 29:57temperature issue during chill down.
- 30:00I'm not sure. I didn't hear about that one.
- 30:02So I can't comment on that but I can't comment on booster 7.
- 30:07So booster 7 Starbase, we're talking about Starbase now,
- 30:11we're talking about Starship, booster 7 on the The launch
- 30:16Mount. Now on the olm orbital launch
- 30:19Mount and this is from footage that I took from Starbase that I
- 30:24got from Starbase the other day. Let me, let me actually pause
- 30:27this real quick right here. I want to show you guys these
- 30:30covers, right? The arrow covers on the side of
- 30:36of the booster. See this kind of like this line,
- 30:38see this, where my, where my cursor is right here, I'm just
- 30:40moving down this thing. Those are huge.
- 30:44They're about the quarter. They're about a Order of the
- 30:46size of the, of the booster, right?
- 30:51So these Arrow covers. They seem like they're going to
- 30:55be providing maybe some drag and some aerodynamic guidance for
- 31:04the booster as it flies and also when it comes back down so it
- 31:08doesn't have grid fins quite yet.
- 31:10But I just want to point that out to you guys.
- 31:13Just so you have a little reference for the future that
- 31:15those Things can create some drag can kind of guide the
- 31:18guide, the rocket guide, the booster and we're going to get a
- 31:20couple of views of that throughout this thing.
- 31:23So, yeah, there's there's a, there's a ton of work being done
- 31:28on booster 7 right now. I heard that there's a and I
- 31:33just like barely saw this this morning that the Cutie arm was
- 31:38going to be attached today. I didn't get a chance to do it
- 31:41because I was setting up for the show.
- 31:42I didn't get a chance to see what's going on, but I was
- 31:44setting up for the show and if the To the arm does, which is a
- 31:47quick disconnect arm does attach to booster 7 today.
- 31:54I think it already did, I'm not sure, but I heard I heard about
- 31:58it this morning. I'm not 100% sure, but if that's
- 32:02happening, then expect some cryo test and there's some there's
- 32:05some other stuff going on to down at Starbase and I'm going
- 32:08to I'm going to talk about that really quick because so booster
- 32:13for and I don't want to spend too much time I my booster 7
- 32:16because it's there's not really much to talk about other than
- 32:20that. It's cool in the booster, 7 is
- 32:22the next because I've covered it so many times, but booster 7 is
- 32:25like the next part of Starship flight testing.
- 32:31So without the flight of course, and I got to fly it quite yet
- 32:34but in the future they will so they have to do all the tests on
- 32:37it first. So I want to talk about another
- 32:39thing that we that that right here, ship 20 so ship 20 booster
- 32:45for The two, that a lot of people thought were going to
- 32:47fly. Even Elan said at one point, the
- 32:49booster for ship 20 are going to fly in the first orbital flight
- 32:53test and Ilan. Said, you know, at one point
- 33:00that's not going to be the one that's not going to be the ship
- 33:02that's going to fly. That's not going to be the
- 33:03booster that's going to fly. But what are they going to do
- 33:07with these things? We've had numerous conversations
- 33:08on the show about this. Will they take booster for and
- 33:12ship 22 the shipyard? You know the sitcom the Rocket
- 33:21Garden. There we go.
- 33:22The rocket really take those to the Rocket Garden.
- 33:25Will they take them too? South Padre Island.
- 33:29Will they take them to the airport?
- 33:31You know, will they lay them down and ship them someplace
- 33:35else where they take him to the cape?
- 33:36We don't know. Like we just didn't know for the
- 33:38longest time. What's going to be happening to
- 33:39them? So here you can see that booster
- 33:44for is still at the pad. Ship 20 is still at the pad.
- 33:49Booster 7 is on the olm. So what are they going to do
- 33:52with booster for ship 20? We're not sure because check
- 33:55this out. Will show you this footage that
- 33:56I got the other day. I got this yesterday.
- 34:00There's construction going on right outside of Starbase
- 34:06production facility. There's road construction going
- 34:09on. The road is being ripped apart,
- 34:12they're driving backhoes, and diggers deep into the ground.
- 34:16Loud right next to the right next to the production facility
- 34:22at Starbase. So there's absolutely no way a
- 34:26booster or a ship can get past that until they repave.
- 34:30This is this all handheld footage, this is all Run and
- 34:34Gun, kind of stuff. I was stuck right there real
- 34:37quick. So so what I think is going to
- 34:41happen because I think booster for think they're going to rip
- 34:44the grid, fins off that thing if they're going to reuse.
- 34:46As those and I think they're going to just do what they did
- 34:49with booster three. I think they can just they can
- 34:52rip it apart right there. Like they did with booster
- 34:55three. It was very it was a very
- 34:57actually really quick process. It only took a day to do it.
- 35:01So Matthew little I think you're right, don't do you think
- 35:04they'll scrap before it launch site and said I think they're
- 35:07going to, I don't think they're going to.
- 35:09I don't think they're going to cart it off anywhere.
- 35:12I think booster for ship 20, maybe they might take ship.
- 35:16Place because all the tiles, how are they going to get those
- 35:19tiles off when they scrap it? It seems like a like more of a
- 35:23pain to scrap it than to like card it up to South Padre Island
- 35:27or like to the airport or something, or to the Rocket
- 35:29Garden. Just hang it.
- 35:30And then I'll put it over there near the boosters.
- 35:34Right now your boots are seven but that's also might just be
- 35:37what are those things that we wait for?
- 35:40For a while, right? So we might just have to hang
- 35:44out and wait and see what they do.
- 35:46This part of the road, I would say it's about a half a mile,
- 35:49maybe maybe a quarter mile of of road that was ripped up and
- 35:54there's no way, there's absolutely no way.
- 35:56There's no room for a booster or a ship to get past that.
- 36:00So unless they do really quick pave job on this thing, which I
- 36:04don't think they're going to. Because the the way that they
- 36:06did the Roads from the production site to the launch
- 36:12site. It took them a while.
- 36:16So I think it might be another. It least two weeks to a month to
- 36:21get this Construction done to get this road work done.
- 36:24I mean it's a smaller piece than from the production site to the
- 36:27launch site and maybe there's other things going on between
- 36:29their when they're when they're building that stuff down there
- 36:32at the launch site area. But there's a possibility that
- 36:38they just wait on that stuff. So that's kind of like the piece
- 36:42of the puzzle that I've been worrying and are like wondering
- 36:44about Longest time I wasn't worrying about.
- 36:46I was wondering about it for the longest time.
- 36:49What are they going to do with those things?
- 36:51I think it's cool that they're there.
- 36:52I also think it's it would be neat if it were someplace else
- 36:55so other people can see it. So I think it's pretty cool but
- 36:59I think they may describe before at the launch site.
- 37:02I think that's that's pretty much it.
- 37:04I think that's all they're going to do is going to scrap it right
- 37:06there. Tin man says SpaceX needs to
- 37:11just launch a Millennium Falcon ship on top of a booster to put
- 37:14in orbit. It'll be better home as a moon
- 37:16base instead of cylindrical modules.
- 37:18Yeah, that would be awesome. Right.
- 37:20Did it get like the the Hologram chess board or whatever that
- 37:23thing was? I forgot.
- 37:24That's called there's like an actual name for that game but
- 37:27that'd be pretty sweet. Shake ship 20 till it breaks
- 37:30really test the limits of the heat tiles though they could do
- 37:33the can crusher. What if they do that?
- 37:38What if they shake until it just gets destroyed?
- 37:41That would be awesome. Yeah.
- 37:44So, all day today, there's a road closure.
- 37:48Is a road closure for Highway 4 and it's it's all been blocked
- 37:53off now. It's ready to, you know, they're
- 37:55ready for testing their testing right now.
- 37:57And I know that, you know, there's there's testing that's
- 38:02going to be happening all day long from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- 38:06here you go. I'm going to show you the road
- 38:08closures that have been happening that are going to be
- 38:09happening today. Beach is closed.
- 38:12That means a good they're doing. The doing something important
- 38:15April. 4th 2022 beats closed, Road closed. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- 38:21same thing for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday, 6:00
- 38:23a.m. to 4 p.m. as usual, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., so they're going to
- 38:27be doing something today. We're not exactly sure
- 38:29everything they're going to be doing today but yeah we'll see.
- 38:34We'll see what happens. Should be interesting.
- 38:39You know, I think it's, I think this is going to be really
- 38:44quick. Test schedule even wants to
- 38:46launch in May, right? So we have a place, the 4th of
- 38:50April Ilan wants to launch in. May the Peña is done April 28 so
- 38:59just give it like another 25 days there.
- 39:02So we have about almost two months.
- 39:05Probably of testing for booster 7 and ship.
- 39:09Keep whatever they're going to use on top of booster 7.
- 39:12Not sure if they're if they are going to use booster seven for
- 39:15the launch that would be great. What if they just do a couple?
- 39:21Maybe they have to test a certain part of booster 7, the
- 39:25move on to booster eight. Maybe there's a part of booster
- 39:287 that they're like, okay we kind of figure this out but
- 39:31we're not exactly sure if this is going to work, probably going
- 39:33to work but we don't know. Maybe they're going to test a
- 39:36certain part of booster 7 and then go, okay.
- 39:38We don't need this thing anymore.
- 39:39Scrap it. And then they build booster a
- 39:41move that in and then booster 8 is the one, but we'll see.
- 39:46We'll see what happens. But booster 7 right now, looks
- 39:49like they're testing at Starbase and you know it's going to be
- 39:56all day. So it's from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- 39:59it's 1:00 p.m. central Time here.
- 40:01So we have another nine hours of testing at least the window for
- 40:06testing. So yeah, there's there's a lot.
- 40:09It can happen in the next and the next bit here.
- 40:13And it looks like the cryo Farm the farm by booster seven.
- 40:18And at the launch site is going right now.
- 40:20So we'll see if they do a full cryo test if they're just
- 40:23testing the pumps. If they're just testing the
- 40:25pipes to get out to booster 7, make sure everything works
- 40:29right. That would be amazing, maybe
- 40:32that's the first day to test the pipes, test everything out, make
- 40:34sure everything works, right? And then the next day, Test
- 40:40actual loading of cryogenic into the cryo into booster 7, so,
- 40:47we'll see what happens. So, I'm going to keep my eye on
- 40:49it and I'll make sure that you guys are up to date on that
- 40:51stuff. So hey, before I go, I want to
- 40:54say, thanks to everybody. Who's been, who's been
- 40:59supporting the show? No, you guys are amazing.
- 41:02Really do help the show in the costs of the show.
- 41:06You know, I think the important thing going forward Word is
- 41:09that, you know, get that a Starbase more and I can show you
- 41:13guys this app to that your zap. Have you guys heard about that?
- 41:21so, Got a thing going on right now and I want to show you this
- 41:27to the yours app is helping us out.
- 41:29They're partnering with us so so you can take a better care of
- 41:36yourselves. So the yours app I use it all
- 41:41the time. I used to go to sleep, I've been
- 41:43finding different ways to kind of go to sleep because I need
- 41:48white noise or I need like something.
- 41:50The really does help me go to sleep because there's there's no
- 41:53noise. I don't like it.
- 41:55Absolutely quiet. So, what I what I was doing
- 41:57before is I had a playlist on Spotify and what it would do is
- 42:02it would it would just play like bird sounds, you know, bird
- 42:07sounds and things like that and it was really quite it was
- 42:11really tranquil and then I got the yours app and the hook me up
- 42:15with it. And it was really cool.
- 42:17I was just like, okay, what can I do?
- 42:20So there's and I'm looking at the app right now but you can
- 42:23get 60% off. On the app.
- 42:26If you go to yours, app.com space and that's our part right
- 42:32here. So you find your happy.
- 42:33I know you're busy and stressed but only takes a few minutes.
