- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hello and welcome back to the Spiritual Shit Show.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: My name is Julie Wynn, your ultimate spiritual hype girl, and we are starting today's podcast with this phrase the only way out is through.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Because the energies we are collectively moving through right now, that phrase is asking to be understood in a much deeper way.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: We are still in the season of shedding.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: And it's important to reframe what shedding actually means.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Shedding is not about cutting things off.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: It's not about deciding something was bad, wrong, annoying.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Shedding is not just finally fucking releasing that thing that we just want to be done with.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: It's not about disconnecting and then calling that healing.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That isn't shedding.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: That's avoidance.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: True shedding, the kind that actually completes a cycle can only happen through love.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: And that's why this conversation right now matters.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: So these final three weeks that we are in, the snake energy still, it's not asking us to abandon parts of ourselves or our stories.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: It's asking us to go back and love what was unloved.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: The people, the experiences, the patterns, the versions of ourselves, the parts of our personality we learn to reject just to survive.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: We are not being asked to disconnect in this shedding.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: We are being asked to repair it, to touch it, to dance with it, to hold it, repair in love, because you cannot shed what you have not first loved.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Unloved parts don't dissolve, they linger, they loop, they resurface.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: But when something is met with love, real love, it completes.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: And this is where the phrase lands differently.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: The only way through is through love.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: And what I'm learning about love is that love, real love, is not passive.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: It's not soft in the way we sometimes imagine.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Love is strong, love is bold, love is disciplined, it requires devotion.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: For many people, the instinct when something becomes painful is to cut off, shut down, disconnect.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: And sometimes that strategy once served a purpose, but the invitation now is different.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: We are being asked to turn back towards the places we once avoided.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Not to fix, not to force, but to repair with love.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Because anything left unrepaired continues to hold energy.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It pulls on us.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: It repeats itself.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: It creates suffering.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Love is what completes the loop.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: This is why the current shedding phase is so important.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Shedding is not about erasing the past.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: It's not about pretending something didn't happen.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: It's not about rejecting who you were.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: It's not about holding on to guilt and shame and anger and resentment.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: True shedding happens when something is fully integrated.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: And integration happens through love.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: You do not step into a new version of yourself by abandoning the old ones.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: You step into the next version of loving every step that brought you here to this very present moment.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: And I know that can be hard.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: It can be annoying.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: When love is calling on your heart, that can feel so annoying because it's so much easier to be angry.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: It's so much easier to hate.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: When we are healing, and especially in this time, old memories, emotions, patterns may resurface.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And I want to tell you that that is not a sign of regression.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: It's a sign that something is ready to be completed.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Love in this context is an action.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: It asks us to see clearly, to soften where we have hardened, to meet ourselves and others with honesty and compassion.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: And yes, love can feel harder than anger, trust me.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: It can feel easier to stay resentful, closed, to want karma and validation, justice.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: But resentment keeps energy active, and love resolves it.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Love is the only thing that completes energy.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Love is the only thing that closes karmic loops.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: This phase is not about disconnecting.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: It's about healing.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: It's about repair.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: It's about loving all of it.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Every chapter, every lesson, every version.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And that is how cycles end.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: That is how energy clears.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And that is how true shedding happens.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: So here is the question to sit with.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: And if it feels uncomfortable, confronting, or difficult, consider this.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Love may be inviting you deeper because love isn't always easy, but it is always transformative.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And truly the only way through that is love.
