- 0:01Speaker 1: With Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Let's go, baby, let's go.
- 0:04Speaker 1: From a championship backfield to your morning drive. Hands to Hester,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and Hester, yep, got it, five out of five. You're
- 0:11Speaker 1: locked in to Off the Bench.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Flynn is back to throw for the end zone ball.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Live from the Raising Cane Studio, here's Jacob Hester and
- 0:23Speaker 3: Matt Flynn.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Welcome in OTP.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Is it?
- 1:00Speaker 5: I can't hear you.
- 1:01Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 1:02Speaker 6: Matt, I can't hear you.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:10Speaker 7: I was on push to talk.
- 1:13Speaker 8: Instead of push to mute.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Yeah. All right, bud. All right, guys.
- 1:18Speaker 7: Here we go.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Your fanny pack's still on. Settle in. Settle in.
- 1:22Speaker 7: You're good. It's a long show. We got a long
- 1:24Speaker 7: time to settle in.
- 1:26Speaker 5: How we feeling?
- 1:27Speaker 7: Hey, you left us. It's a McDonald's thing.
- 1:29Speaker 5: That's your free food. That made it all day. Right
- 1:34Speaker 5: there on that desk.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Yeah, nobody was like, let me.
- 1:37Speaker 9: 24 hours.
- 1:37Speaker 7: A lot of integrity in this building.
- 1:39Speaker 5: In the same spot. A lot of integrity. No one
- 1:42Speaker 5: took the you won food Monopoly piece. Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 6: They probably didn't read it.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Well, I mean, Hunt's about to go on like a vacation.
- 1:50Speaker 4: So maybe he's watching the waistline. Moscona feels like.
- 1:54Speaker 6: Too good for McDonald's.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I was just about to say like McDonald's is underneath
- 1:57Speaker 5: him a bit.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Yeah, a bit.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 7: Body's a temple.
- 1:59Speaker 6: I don't know if I've ever heard him speak the
- 2:01Speaker 6: words McDonald's.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Yeah, me neither.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Here's the thing. Here's the way I look at that.
- 2:05Speaker 8: It's like good food is really good for you. Healthy food,
- 2:08Speaker 8: very healthy for you. But you don't throw a little
- 2:10Speaker 8: garbage in there every now and then. Your body stops
- 2:12Speaker 8: recognizing the good stuff.
- 2:13Speaker 6: Yeah, true.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Got to.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Where there's a greater good, there's a greater evil.
- 2:17Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 2:18Speaker 5: It's like you talked about wanting to have a couple
- 2:20Speaker 5: beers with Sam Levitt.
- 2:21Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Change up a little bit.
- 2:24Speaker 6: Yeah, Sam needs some McDonald's.
- 2:25Speaker 7: He needs some blue light. Fancy having given that.
- 2:29Speaker 5: I mean, Ocho Cinco is all about McDonald's. He ate
- 2:32Speaker 5: it every day. Every day.
- 2:35Speaker 8: Literally, I think you can pick anything on the menu.
- 2:37Speaker 8: It says you want food. I want you to go
- 2:39Speaker 8: to McDonald's, pull up, and be like, I'd like some food, please.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Yes, I want food.
- 2:42Speaker 5: That's what this card says.
- 2:43Speaker 7: This is my proof. Give it to me. What do
- 2:48Speaker 7: you want?
- 2:48Speaker 5: What do you got? And they probably would.
- 2:53Speaker 7: Maybe.
- 2:53Speaker 5: All right, here you go.
- 2:55Speaker 7: Anyway, a lot of integrity in this building. Good job.
- 2:58Speaker 7: Nice work. Well done.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Back to you. How you feeling there, bud?
- 3:05Speaker 7: Pretty great. Pretty great.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Is this your Jordan flu game?
- 3:10Speaker 8: This is my Jordan flu game tonight. It's not a
- 3:12Speaker 8: big deal. Some people, when they get sick, they're out
- 3:17Speaker 8: multiple days.
- 3:18Speaker 7: A little cold, a little fever. A fever tried to
- 3:24Speaker 7: come for me last night. Guess what?
- 3:26Speaker 5: What'd you tell it?
- 3:27Speaker 7: Wouldn't let it. Not today. I don't have the time.
- 3:29Speaker 7: I got a Thursday show today.
- 3:33Speaker 5: You're like, not on a Thursday.
- 3:34Speaker 7: No, I don't have time for this. Fever broke a
- 3:36Speaker 7: couple hours ago. Not a huge deal. Still a little chilly.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Some would say, you know, it's a mindset.
- 3:45Speaker 7: It is a mindset. 100% it's a mindset. Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 8: You know, again, there's some, you know, things that are,
- 3:49Speaker 8: you know, tougher to get your mindset over. But that
- 3:52Speaker 8: little bug got him in. He was like, oh, I
- 3:54Speaker 8: picked the wrong dude. That was a bad, that was
- 3:58Speaker 8: a mistake.
- 4:05Speaker 5: All right, we'll see how much you're thriving today.
- 4:10Speaker 6: So you, like, woke up in the middle of the
- 4:11Speaker 6: night and checked it, and then you were like, I'm good.
- 4:14Speaker 8: No, you wake up in, like, a pool of just
- 4:17Speaker 8: absolute mess and sweat.
- 4:19Speaker 6: So to be clear, you didn't check if you actually
- 4:21Speaker 6: had a fever or not.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Oh, you can't count, like, you've never, like, had a
- 4:25Speaker 7: broke fever?
- 4:25Speaker 5: You're 40, you can probably tell is what you're saying.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Like, I had a fever going to sleep.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 7: And woke up in the middle of the night just
- 4:32Speaker 7: absolutely in a pool of sweat.
- 4:33Speaker 10: Right.
- 4:34Speaker 5: That's it.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Pretty much like the indication that it broke. Okay. Am
- 4:39Speaker 7: I crazy on that?
- 4:39Speaker 5: No, I just, I mean, I was just asking.
- 4:42Speaker 6: I'm not trying to get sick is what I'm trying
- 4:43Speaker 6: to say.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Oh, that's true. No, it's not.
- 4:45Speaker 5: I don't remember the last time I got sick.
- 4:47Speaker 4: It must have been when you had to do the
- 4:48Speaker 4: show of Rouses by yourself.
- 4:50Speaker 5: That was a different type of sick, though.
- 4:53Speaker 11: So since you're fever broke, what's the issue now? Like
- 4:56Speaker 11: just lack of sleep or?
- 5:00Speaker 6: You could feel bad without a fever.
- 5:02Speaker 8: Yeah, a little achy, little pains.
- 5:04Speaker 7: You know, skin a little sensitive to the touch. A
- 5:08Speaker 7: little chilly.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Nobody touch Matt. Nobody touch him.
- 5:12Speaker 7: But it's every single minute, it's better.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Oh, dude, by hour three?
- 5:17Speaker 7: Dude, don't be cartwheeling.
- 5:18Speaker 5: You're going to be ready to roll.
- 5:19Speaker 7: No ninja flips this morning, though.
- 5:20Speaker 5: Those QB rankings are going to be great.
- 5:22Speaker 7: They're going to be really good. Supposed to have a
- 5:26Speaker 7: golf match today, too.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Oh, I forgot about that. Matt, are you canceling this again?
- 5:31Speaker 7: I can't. I've done it so many times. This whole
- 5:35Speaker 7: day is a Jordan flu game.
- 5:36Speaker 5: You're like, guys, you're not going to believe this. I'm
- 5:38Speaker 5: sick again.
- 5:39Speaker 7: From sunup to sundown is a Jordan flu game for me.
- 5:43Speaker 4: This golf match has been going on since April.
- 5:51Speaker 5: This tournament has. Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 7: No, this tournament's been going on since March.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Okay, and it was in the spring. This is like
- 5:56Speaker 5: the tour de France.
- 5:58Speaker 8: It's a four ball. It starts with 64 teams. It's
- 6:00Speaker 8: a four ball event. So you have a team, you have,
- 6:02Speaker 8: you have a partner. So it's two man teams and
- 6:05Speaker 8: it's a 64 team bracket, but like you schedule it
- 6:08Speaker 8: as everybody can align their schedules together.
- 6:11Speaker 5: And so you go, whether it's a Tuesday or Wednesday
- 6:13Speaker 5: or a.
- 6:13Speaker 8: Weekend, whatever the semifinals took about four months to get
- 6:18Speaker 8: in because we had it scheduled. Everybody's got jobs. Everybody's busy.
- 6:22Speaker 8: So like, and I don't want to play on the
- 6:24Speaker 8: weekends cause it's like family time. And, um, I think
- 6:30Speaker 8: it rained out twice at least, and then I had
- 6:32Speaker 8: to hurt back another time.
- 6:34Speaker 7: Then we ended up playing it. We got it in.
- 6:36Speaker 5: This is our first try at the championship game.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Okay.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Who are we playing in the championship? I don't like
- 6:44Speaker 5: to talk about it. I don't like to talk about
- 6:46Speaker 5: the opponents. Do you know who you're playing?
- 6:51Speaker 7: Because it's not about them, Jake.
- 6:53Speaker 5: It's about you.
- 6:54Speaker 7: It's about us.
- 6:55Speaker 5: And your partner.
- 6:56Speaker 7: It's about us.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Who's your partner?
- 6:57Speaker 7: Jeremy Perk.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Hey, Jeremy.
- 7:02Speaker 7: A.K.A. Perk 30.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Well, hey, Perk 30. I don't know about your guy today, bud.
- 7:07Speaker 7: Oh, dude. I think a lot more than that. You
- 7:10Speaker 7: know how little tiny those bugs are?
- 7:12Speaker 5: They're tiny. Is Jeremy a good player?
- 7:14Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 5: I was about to say, he's going to have to
- 7:15Speaker 5: do some heavy lifting today.
- 7:16Speaker 7: No, I'm fine. Teammate, ham and eggs.
- 7:21Speaker 5: He's probably already doing some pretty heavy lifting. Some real strong.
- 7:25Speaker 8: You know how much physically bigger I am than that
- 7:28Speaker 8: little bug? Doesn't stand a chance.
- 7:33Speaker 5: All right. I hope it doesn't. But it also saw
- 7:39Speaker 5: you get out of your car this morning.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Well, I got to limber up a little bit.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 7: All right.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Fair enough.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Alondra, Tay-Tay, hopefully you are doing better this morning than Matthew.
- 7:53Speaker 6: I mean, I feel fine right now. I don't.
- 7:56Speaker 5: You're not wrong.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I almost told you. No, I almost told you, like,
- 7:59Speaker 6: you know what? Just stay calm. Stay your ass over there. Like,
- 8:02Speaker 6: leave that wherever it's at. I'm not trying to get
- 8:04Speaker 6: any parts of that.
- 8:05Speaker 7: That's true.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Should I do that?
- 8:07Speaker 6: In this room, we're, like, enclosed.
- 8:10Speaker 7: I'm sure they recycle the air in here, though. It's
- 8:12Speaker 7: new air.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Feels like an airplane.
- 8:17Speaker 6: I will say one time, though, T-Bob and I, like,
- 8:20Speaker 6: we got sick around the same time last year. Like,
- 8:23Speaker 6: I was sick. I'm pretty sure I had COVID, but
- 8:25Speaker 6: I don't.
- 8:26Speaker 7: I didn't.
- 8:26Speaker 6: Get tested or anything like that so I don't know
- 8:28Speaker 6: what it was but I was not I was down
- 8:30Speaker 6: and out I was here at work and then T-Bob
- 8:35Speaker 6: got sick like the next day or like two days
- 8:37Speaker 6: later he did not come into work and I was
- 8:40Speaker 6: like bro I was sitting back here dying.
- 8:44Speaker 5: That man was that the poodle was that the.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Blake Baker poodle yes that's when we got Blake to
- 8:48Speaker 6: call him a poodle and then I got food poisoning
- 8:50Speaker 6: that next week yeah it was awful I was so.
- 8:54Speaker 8: Skinny I need to do that again like I don't
- 8:58Speaker 8: have the mindset to not.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Right?
- 9:00Speaker 6: Yeah, because you're not a poodle. T-Bob poodle.
- 9:07Speaker 8: But y'all do have the autonomy to make me leave
- 9:11Speaker 8: for your self-preservation.
- 9:12Speaker 5: I think you're good.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Matt, get out.
- 9:14Speaker 6: I would like for you to not be here, but.
- 9:20Speaker 5: If you had told me last night, like an eight, like, hey,
- 9:21Speaker 5: I'm not coming. But now you're here, so. The hard
- 9:27Speaker 5: part's over. You got out of bed. You're pot committed.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:30Speaker 8: No, we're good. We are good. I told you. I
- 9:32Speaker 8: told you last night it was going to be a
- 9:33Speaker 8: flu game. Wasn't even a thought to knock him.
- 9:36Speaker 6: I have Marler's wedding on Friday.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Nice.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 9:39Speaker 6: I can't be sick for that.
- 9:41Speaker 7: You're not going to.
- 9:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 6: If you somehow are contagious, I'll beat it out.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Well, for sure. Yeah. Don't even think about getting sick. Mindset, Alondra.
- 9:54Speaker 6: True. I'm un- Penetrable. Or what is it? Penetrable?
- 9:58Speaker 7: Nailed it.
- 10:01Speaker 5: College eight.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Can't penetrate me?
- 10:03Speaker 5: The opposite of penetrable. Whatever that is.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Uncomfortable.
- 10:16Speaker 7: Anyway, relying on you guys for a lot of energy today.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Yeah, everybody's doing good outside of Matt.
- 10:20Speaker 7: Y'all are doing great. I'm looking forward to hearing y'all.
- 10:23Speaker 5: How nervous do y'all think Marla is right now? About what?
- 10:26Speaker 5: Getting married on Friday. He doesn't seem like the type
- 10:28Speaker 5: to get nervous. So probably not. What? Probably not at all.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Brittany texted me yesterday and she was like, did Chris
- 10:35Speaker 6: take off the entire week for his wedding? And I
- 10:38Speaker 6: was like, no, he just took like the rest of
- 10:40Speaker 6: the week. He was here Monday and yesterday.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:43Speaker 6: And she was like, I didn't even take time off
- 10:46Speaker 6: for my wedding and I'm the bride.
- 10:47Speaker 5: And I was like, yes, but.
- 10:50Speaker 6: This is Chris. Like you got to understand like you
- 10:53Speaker 6: and Chris are completely different people.
- 10:56Speaker 7: He's definitely not overthinking it. No.
- 11:01Speaker 6: I don't think he's nervous. I think he's just Chris
- 11:06Speaker 6: about it.
- 11:06Speaker 8: I think he probably has a lot of nervous energy.
- 11:08Speaker 8: It has nothing to do with the wedding. It's just
- 11:10Speaker 8: his day to day.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Just in general.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 5: That makes sense. Who's Alabama play this weekend? Alabama has.
- 11:17Speaker 6: I don't actually know.
- 11:19Speaker 4: That could be real important for him. After they lost
- 11:24Speaker 4: to Tennessee.
- 11:25Speaker 6: His soon-to-be wife is an Auburn fan.
- 11:27Speaker 5: They're not losing this weekend.
- 11:29Speaker 7: Directional school year.
- 11:30Speaker 5: They got the Aggies, so pretty much.
- 11:34Speaker 7: That is shocking to me that he would.
- 11:40Speaker 7: Have a fall wedding? Yeah, a little bit.
- 11:44Speaker 5: If anybody's going to do it, though. Yeah. It's Marler.
- 11:47Speaker 6: So the thing is, like, it's on a Friday.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:50Speaker 6: And then the next day they're doing at their house, like,
- 11:52Speaker 6: a tailgate for people to come watch the games.
- 11:55Speaker 7: That'll be fun.
- 11:55Speaker 5: And they have one TV currently at their house.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, that's true.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Because he broke the TV.
- 12:02Speaker 6: He broke one, yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Although when he said that.
- 12:04Speaker 6: Whoever's taking the one that's in her office, though.
- 12:06Speaker 4: When he said that on Monday, I was.
- 12:09Speaker 5: Like, so you're going to have all these people at
- 12:10Speaker 5: your house and you're going to have two TVs.
- 12:13Speaker 6: They're planning on having three.
- 12:15Speaker 5: That's not much better.
- 12:16Speaker 6: No.
- 12:20Speaker 5: Especially when it's like a 32-inch TV that you're talking about. Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 7: I mean, right? Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 5: There's some things that you can watch on a small TV.
- 12:28Speaker 7: You can get a 35-inch for double digits.
- 12:31Speaker 5: You can get one in the backyard. It's got the
- 12:34Speaker 5: crank on it still. You can get like 52 inches
- 12:35Speaker 5: for like $ 300.
- 12:36Speaker 3: If that.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Probably $ 200.
- 12:42Speaker 11: That's the one thing, like, when I became an adult
- 12:45Speaker 11: that I was surprised did not cost more.
- 12:49Speaker 5: They used to be. You get some deals on TV.
- 12:50Speaker 5: It's inflation free. They used to be so expensive.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:54Speaker 5: A flat screen, like a 32 inch flat screen was
- 12:59Speaker 5: all the money.
- 12:59Speaker 6: That was like when all the TV still had junk
- 13:01Speaker 6: in the trunk.
- 13:01Speaker 12: Right.
- 13:02Speaker 11: The flat screens were like the one snap. Now everything's
- 13:04Speaker 11: a flat screen and they're like, not a big deal.
- 13:08Speaker 4: That's like one of the only things in history that
- 13:10Speaker 4: I can tell you. That's just like continues to go
- 13:13Speaker 4: down and down and down in price.
- 13:15Speaker 11: Yeah, like Matt was saying, it's the opposite of inflation.
- 13:18Speaker 11: It's like when I go get donuts in 2026, I'm like,
- 13:21Speaker 11: thank you guys for having the same prices when I
- 13:23Speaker 11: was 10 years old. I can go get two dozen
- 13:25Speaker 11: donuts for like 16 bucks, and.
- 13:27Speaker 7: You're like, hey, hell yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Yeah, so donuts, Costco hot dogs, pimento cheese sandwiches at
- 13:34Speaker 8: the Masters, and flat screen TVs.
- 13:36Speaker 7: Those are the only things.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Those are the only things in life that we can
- 13:39Speaker 5: count on to be consistent. The list.
- 13:42Speaker 7: That's it.
- 13:42Speaker 5: I don't think there's anything else. Honestly, those are all
- 13:45Speaker 5: pretty good things.
- 13:47Speaker 7: Yeah. You could live on that.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Never been to the Masters, but.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Hey, ramen noodles, they don't go... They haven't changed price, really.
- 13:55Speaker 7: I don't think so. Okay. Maybe a little bit.
- 13:59Speaker 6: I think they're still like a dollar down.
- 14:00Speaker 5: The Hester Boys?
- 14:02Speaker 7: Oh, yeah. Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Delete them ramen noodles.
- 14:03Speaker 7: It's true. They got all the fancy ramen. I didn't
- 14:05Speaker 7: know if you were talking about fancy ramen.
- 14:06Speaker 6: No, I just mean... I've never had ramen noodles that's not...
- 14:11Speaker 6: What is it, Maruchan or whatever?
- 14:12Speaker 5: I feel like I used to go get a flight
- 14:15Speaker 5: of those in college.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Yeah, probably.
- 14:16Speaker 7: I feel like they're a quarter piece.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Sometimes they pay you to take them if you're lucky.
- 14:21Speaker 7: I mean, expiration date's more of a suggestion than anything.
- 14:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 8: I wonder how the TV people make their money. You
- 14:32Speaker 8: know how like the HP and the printing company they
- 14:36Speaker 8: got a new CEO like decades ago and they're like,
- 14:38Speaker 8: she changed the game plan. We're going to charge you
- 14:40Speaker 8: nothing for the printer because we're going to over, we're
- 14:44Speaker 8: going to inflate this ink.
- 14:46Speaker 7: The consumable part. Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 8: What's a consumable on a TV? I guess you could
- 14:51Speaker 8: like sign up for maybe Samsung account. Like if you've
- 14:53Speaker 8: got a Samsung, I don't know.
- 14:55Speaker 4: I think you're just slinging more. They weren't that expensive
- 14:58Speaker 4: to make. They just know the margins weren't going to
- 14:59Speaker 4: be the same.
- 15:00Speaker 5: You just know more.
- 15:00Speaker 8: Maybe they get a kickback from the streaming services because, like,
- 15:03Speaker 8: more screens that are streaming.
- 15:05Speaker 11: People are buying more TVs, too. Like, I have, we
- 15:08Speaker 11: got a back porch. I got an outdoor TV now
- 15:10Speaker 11: because they don't cost that much.
- 15:16Speaker 6: I don't know about y'all's TVs, but I got one, like,
- 15:20Speaker 6: At some point last year. But it only, like, it broke.
- 15:24Speaker 6: It only lasted me a year. So maybe, I don't know.
- 15:27Speaker 5: That's true, too. Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 11: And you're not mad about it because you're like, oh,
- 15:31Speaker 11: you know, it was only 200 bucks.
- 15:32Speaker 5: No big deal. I'll go get a new one.
- 15:33Speaker 6: I was like, no, mine was like 100 and something.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Like a smart TV, too. I was like, oh.
- 15:40Speaker 8: You don't want a dumb one. A buddy of mine
- 15:43Speaker 8: was doing an outdoor kitchen recently. And he was like, man,
- 15:46Speaker 8: he's pricing out outdoor TVs. Because he wanted a big one.
- 15:49Speaker 8: He likes to watch sports. He's like, I want this
- 15:51Speaker 8: outdoor TV. I'm like, don't get an outdoor TV. You're
- 15:54Speaker 8: a sheep if you do that. Yeah, because those are expensive.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Three or four grand for an outdoor TV to be waterproof, whatever.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Just get you a $ 200 to $ 300 TV. Replace it
- 16:03Speaker 8: every three years.
- 16:04Speaker 9: Right.
- 16:04Speaker 7: You are coming out on top, buddy.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Did Mark agree to do it? It wasn't him, actually.
- 16:12Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure I gave him that same advice.
- 16:13Speaker 11: Victoria got me a, because we had this little TV
- 16:16Speaker 11: for outside. It's 40 inches maybe. And it's a weather box.
- 16:21Speaker 11: It's called like a hurricane weather box.
- 16:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 16:23Speaker 11: And it looks like this black like gun case on
- 16:25Speaker 11: the side of my wall.
- 16:27Speaker 5: Unlatch it. Take it off. TV in there. So it's covered.
- 16:30Speaker 7: There you go.
- 16:31Speaker 5: That's LP right there. Oh, yeah. This is great.
- 16:34Speaker 7: By the way, those home printers, that's a racket. That
- 16:36Speaker 7: company's a scam. What? That ink is expensive. That ink's expensive.
- 16:42Speaker 7: The quality is crap.
- 16:44Speaker 5: I'll tell you what's a scam. At-home printers are terrible.
- 16:47Speaker 5: What's the Rolo? I don't know. Right, the one that
- 16:51Speaker 5: prints off. That's a candy, right? And stickers.
- 16:53Speaker 7: Yes, it is. The caramel.
- 16:55Speaker 5: Prints off in stickers, because you're talking about for shipping, right?
- 16:58Speaker 8: No, no, no, just like regular printing. My kids need
- 16:59Speaker 8: to print out homework or whatever. The ink's always out.
- 17:03Speaker 8: It's always, like half the page is always faded, at least.
- 17:06Speaker 8: There's so many different numbers. You're like, oh, I'm fine. Hey, babe,
- 17:10Speaker 8: check this out. I got this sweet printer for 80 bucks.
- 17:13Speaker 5: Brand new. Pay $ 350 for the ink. It's going to
- 17:16Speaker 5: last two weeks. What a scam.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Ridiculous.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I don't think I've ever seen you get so upset
- 17:24Speaker 5: about something. I like it.
- 17:26Speaker 8: I got like a nice printer at the office, like
- 17:30Speaker 8: a Gulf Coast office product printer.
- 17:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 7: And that ink just lasts forever.
- 17:33Speaker 5: You can print as many.
- 17:34Speaker 7: It just goes forever.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Not the little bitty home one.
- 17:37Speaker 8: Not the little bitty home one. The technology is out there.
- 17:39Speaker 8: They just need to reach for it. They need to
- 17:41Speaker 8: try a little bit harder.
- 17:42Speaker 5: It's a scam. All right. We'll take a break.
- 17:49Speaker 4: And when we come back, as Tay-Tay told you in
- 17:52Speaker 4: the open there, some big, big news for LSU football
- 17:55Speaker 4: when it comes to the old injury report.
- 17:58Speaker 5: We'll get to it right here on OTB.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 18:01Speaker 3: 2007 champs. Purple and gold to the core. This is
- 18:24Speaker 3: Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn. Baton Rouge's go-to
- 18:27Speaker 3: for all things Louisiana sports.
- 18:44Speaker 12: All right, welcome back in OTB.
- 18:56Speaker 5: We're live from the Raising Cane Studio.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Some big news for LSU, LSU fans, LSU football, anybody
- 19:07Speaker 4: in purple and gold, trade as green. Not on the
- 19:10Speaker 4: injury report. Not a probable, not a questionable, not a doubtful,
- 19:17Speaker 4: not an out.
- 19:18Speaker 7: You think someone accidentally deleted him on the spreadsheet?
- 19:21Speaker 5: I hope that's not the case.
- 19:23Speaker 7: I've done it.
- 19:26Speaker 5: I hope it is because he is ready to go.
- 19:28Speaker 4: And initially we thought it was going to be after
- 19:33Speaker 4: the bye week for the Alabama game. But if you
- 19:36Speaker 4: can get him back, He is as important as anybody
- 19:40Speaker 4: on this team. You think about when he went out
- 19:44Speaker 4: to play against Ole Miss, you're driving. And you're driving
- 19:47Speaker 4: and try to go tie it up and that'd be
- 19:49Speaker 4: a pretty good weapon to have available down there when
- 19:52Speaker 4: you were trying to score a touchdown in the red
- 19:55Speaker 4: area all right you didn't have him at Kentucky a
- 19:58Speaker 4: couple plays in that game you'd like to have trade
- 20:01Speaker 4: as green out there very important to the team this
- 20:04Speaker 4: is a very important game it's going to be a
- 20:06Speaker 4: difficult game it's going to be In an opposing stadium
- 20:10Speaker 4: that I've got a lot of respect for. That's great news.
- 20:15Speaker 8: Oh, it's awesome, isn't it? Literally the first time I'm
- 20:18Speaker 8: hearing about it, so I'm excited.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Oh, I forgot you were sick.
- 20:23Speaker 7: He's back?
- 20:24Speaker 6: Okay, so I will say, okay, maybe he is back, right? Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 6: like Trey does, got healthy, yay, woo. But Lane, we know...
- 20:33Speaker 6: also trolls with his injury reports. So I think that
- 20:38Speaker 6: the semantic game that Lane plays with this is that
- 20:41Speaker 6: it's more of an availability report than an injury report.
- 20:46Speaker 6: So I guess, like.
- 20:48Speaker 5: He could dress out, go through warm-ups, and not play. Right.
- 20:50Speaker 7: He tweaked it.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Yeah, you could say he tweaked it. He tweaked it
- 20:53Speaker 5: during warm-ups.
- 20:54Speaker 7: I thought he was good.
- 20:55Speaker 5: Just to make Auburn get ready. He was a true game-time.
- 20:57Speaker 6: But I hope so badly that Trey Desgreen is back.
- 21:00Speaker 5: What was he officially last week? He was out.
- 21:04Speaker 7: During the game, out.
- 21:05Speaker 5: But during the week.
- 21:06Speaker 11: On the report, he has been out since Ole Miss.
- 21:10Speaker 1: He had it.
- 21:10Speaker 7: It's tough to go from out to nothing.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Right.
- 21:13Speaker 4: And you've had multiple weeks. An MCL typically, when I've
- 21:19Speaker 4: had it, it's been two weeks.
- 21:22Speaker 5: You have it. You miss a week. Miss a game.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Miss a week of practice and try to play on
- 21:27Speaker 4: that Saturday. Now, he's a little bit different of an athlete.
- 21:30Speaker 7: His MCL is longer than yours. Could be.
- 21:33Speaker 5: A lot bigger area.
- 21:34Speaker 7: Could be.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 21:37Speaker 7: I mean, come on now.
- 21:39Speaker 5: I don't know. I got big knees. I don't know
- 21:43Speaker 5: how long an MCL traditionally is, but either way.
- 21:46Speaker 7: That was great news.
- 21:51Speaker 8: I mean, and you talk about the red zone weapon
- 21:54Speaker 8: that he should be, could be, but I mean, it's
- 21:58Speaker 8: really all over the field. I mean, he was over
- 22:00Speaker 8: the middle. You just can't. you can't stop him with
- 22:03Speaker 8: one person. You can't stop him with a traditional zone
- 22:05Speaker 8: just because his body is so big. Like a lot
- 22:09Speaker 8: of those routes that he was running, he's in the
- 22:11Speaker 8: areas where you have to get it over people, right?
- 22:13Speaker 8: You got to get it over a linebacker, but in
- 22:15Speaker 8: front of a safety, those are tricky throws to make.
- 22:17Speaker 8: You have to have really good hands. You got to
- 22:19Speaker 8: have really good extension. You got to throw a tight
- 22:20Speaker 8: spiral for it to get up and down like that.
- 22:23Speaker 8: But with a tall body like Trey does, like you
- 22:27Speaker 8: don't have, it's not as hard of a throw.
- 22:29Speaker 5: You don't have to get it down this far. It's
- 22:32Speaker 5: hard to miss that guy.
- 22:34Speaker 8: And you talk about the red zone success that we
- 22:36Speaker 8: think that he will probably bring, we expect him to bring.
- 22:41Speaker 8: LSU is not terrible in the red zone. They're 51st
- 22:44Speaker 8: in the country at red zone offense. I think they're
- 22:47Speaker 8: scoring about 87.5% of their time. That's a field goal touchdown.
- 22:51Speaker 8: They're doing well. You want to finish with six, not three.
- 22:57Speaker 7: Right?
- 22:57Speaker 8: That's the goal is the offense when you get into
- 22:59Speaker 8: the red zone. And if you continuously finish with three,
- 23:02Speaker 8: that's unacceptable. I'm not saying LSU has done that. Obviously
- 23:05Speaker 8: very good this past weekend. But there has been some
- 23:08Speaker 8: critical down and distances and some critical plays where it
- 23:12Speaker 8: looked like, I'm not going to say you didn't really
- 23:15Speaker 8: know what to call, but you were calling and hoping
- 23:18Speaker 8: something would work. Instead of calling, like, Cherrydale's, of course,
- 23:21Speaker 8: he's going to be a great weapon in the red zone,
- 23:22Speaker 8: but what else he does is he frees up everybody.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Else because you have to pay attention to him. I agree.
- 23:29Speaker 4: And he's, like, always the point of emphasis for any
- 23:34Speaker 4: defensive coordinator. And we talk about guys that are Monday
- 23:39Speaker 4: meeting starters.
- 23:40Speaker 5: What is that?
- 23:41Speaker 4: It's a guy that when the opposing team meets for
- 23:44Speaker 4: the first time with their team on Monday morning, he's
- 23:47Speaker 4: the first guy they talk about. That's probably Trey Desgris.
- 23:50Speaker 4: He's that kind of guy. He means that much to
- 23:52Speaker 4: your offense. And, again, I sure hope this is not
- 23:55Speaker 4: a troll job. I hope this is actually him being available.
- 23:59Speaker 4: And it would line up with his injury. Again, he's
- 24:05Speaker 4: a very, very unique athlete, right? Size, speed, what he
- 24:11Speaker 4: can do for you. And so a lot of times,
- 24:13Speaker 4: and I'm not trying to be funny, a lot of
- 24:14Speaker 4: times those guys do take a little bit longer to heal.
- 24:17Speaker 5: For sure. But he's had some extra time. He very
- 24:20Speaker 5: easily could be ready to go.
- 24:22Speaker 8: I say cautiously optimistic what everybody should be right now.
- 24:25Speaker 5: You see that he's not even on it. We all
- 24:27Speaker 5: get excited.
- 24:28Speaker 8: But then I also kind of think about, I mean,
- 24:30Speaker 8: it's really hard to go from that many weeks just
- 24:32Speaker 8: completely out to at least not questionable or doubtful or something.
- 24:37Speaker 8: So to be completely left off of it could be
- 24:40Speaker 8: awesome news.
- 24:43Speaker 7: Could be a troll. I don't know.
- 24:45Speaker 8: But at least I got to prepare for him. Now,
- 24:48Speaker 8: let me ask you this. Is this even a thought?
- 24:50Speaker 8: Is he still doubtful right now if LSU is one loss?
- 24:57Speaker 8: Two losses, it's a must win.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Probably.
- 24:59Speaker 7: This is a must win.
- 25:00Speaker 5: I mean, maybe, yeah, one loss. Because you've got to buy.
- 25:02Speaker 5: You've got to buy a week. You've got to buy
- 25:03Speaker 5: a week after that. Yeah.
- 25:05Speaker 4: You're going into the place against a team that just
- 25:08Speaker 4: beat the number one team in the country.
- 25:10Speaker 1: On the road.
- 25:11Speaker 5: They beat them on the road. So, hey, push it
- 25:17Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 25:18Speaker 7: It's done.
- 25:19Speaker 5: You feel it? 85%, 90%? Yeah. We'll go. Being completely
- 25:23Speaker 5: out is a little bit fishy, though.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Princeville also not listed on there, which is awesome.
- 25:28Speaker 7: I think they've made it, forgot to do it.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I've heard good reports on Princeville.
- 25:33Speaker 7: The whole time.
- 25:33Speaker 11: Yeah, because they said head injury, and there were some
- 25:36Speaker 11: people that said he actually could have come back in
- 25:37Speaker 11: the game if he needed to.
- 25:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I've also heard the same, and they're like, Mississippi State's
- 25:44Speaker 4: not going to score here.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Right. Oh, okay.
- 25:46Speaker 4: We're just going to keep you out of here, though.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Richard Anderson being doubtful in there.
- 25:52Speaker 5: That's new. Also, like, Auburn likes to run the ball.
- 25:57Speaker 11: You need a heavy rotation in defensive tackles. Like, that
- 26:00Speaker 11: one's pretty concerning to me because, like, he's had some
- 26:02Speaker 11: good moments in the run game.
- 26:05Speaker 4: You did see Lamar Brown's kind of kick back inside
- 26:08Speaker 4: a little bit. He was starting on the edge. They've
- 26:10Speaker 4: kind of moved him back inside. So that's something to
- 26:13Speaker 4: pay attention to, too, see how much Lamar Brown can
- 26:15Speaker 4: get back in the rotation there. But, I mean, overall,
- 26:19Speaker 4: if that's it, if that's your injury report, feeling pretty
- 26:23Speaker 4: good about it, considering where you've been. I mean, you
- 26:29Speaker 4: know Spears is going to be out for the year. So, unfortunately,
- 26:32Speaker 4: like that's one you just kind of don't even look
- 26:34Speaker 4: at at this point. You know, Whit Weeks is going
- 26:38Speaker 4: to be tough to get back for the regular season,
- 26:40Speaker 4: any kind of regular season, maybe at the very end. So,
- 26:43Speaker 4: for the most part, every injury on there, you knew
- 26:45Speaker 4: about outside of Richard Anderson.
- 26:50Speaker 7: Sam Levitt's hamstrings are tough, too.
- 26:52Speaker 6: For real.
- 26:53Speaker 7: He's got, like, Patrick Mahomes doctor.
- 26:57Speaker 6: It's all that red light.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I was about to say.
- 26:58Speaker 7: It's that red light there.
- 26:59Speaker 5: You want him to go have a couple beers.
- 27:00Speaker 6: No beers.
- 27:01Speaker 7: I do. He'd be better. I promise you.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I mean, he hadn't missed any time.
- 27:07Speaker 7: I don't know. Can you imagine, though? Can you imagine
- 27:11Speaker 7: what it would be like if he did?
- 27:12Speaker 4: You think he ate a quarter pounder from McDonald's that
- 27:14Speaker 4: one week he was struggling with his hamstrings?
- 27:16Speaker 7: No, I think he ate too much good, like, natural
- 27:19Speaker 7: grown organic stuff.
- 27:20Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying, though.
- 27:21Speaker 6: A little too much almond milk.
- 27:22Speaker 5: But he found his way to come back. You don't
- 27:23Speaker 5: think maybe he snuck in a quarterback? He might have.
- 27:25Speaker 5: He might have taken my advice. Day after the A
- 27:27Speaker 5: & M game.
- 27:27Speaker 7: I'm sure, yeah.
- 27:28Speaker 5: He took him to the drive-thru. I'm sure he's a
- 27:29Speaker 5: daily listener.
- 27:30Speaker 7: I mean, I know he's probably doing some yoga right now.
- 27:32Speaker 5: He's not in school.
- 27:34Speaker 7: Yeah, he's definitely not in school.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Nobody goes to school anymore. Probably meditating and listening to OGB.
- 27:38Speaker 5: He's in acupuncture right now. Lethal combo. He's like, wait
- 27:41Speaker 5: a minute.
- 27:43Speaker 7: What'd you say?
- 27:43Speaker 5: You're offering dry needling? I'll take some.
- 27:45Speaker 7: Yeah, me too. 100%. No, his is more like.
- 27:51Speaker 7: Meditative to that. Okay. Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 5: Not just shooting the bull with the trainer is doing
- 27:55Speaker 5: it back.
- 27:55Speaker 7: Yeah. No, not just shooting the bull. We're talking whale
- 27:57Speaker 7: sounds in the background. Sure. It's all falling water. Some
- 28:01Speaker 7: gongs for sure.
- 28:02Speaker 5: I was going to go gongs and I couldn't think of.
- 28:04Speaker 7: What I was.
- 28:06Speaker 5: Like, Oh, what's it called?
- 28:07Speaker 8: But I think when it gets home, he probably decompresses
- 28:11Speaker 8: with a little OTB.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 6: He's like, let me see what they got.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Maybe a couple of tendies.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Hold on. I need a beer.
- 28:22Speaker 5: I think it was actually cane sauce. Hold my matcha.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Hold my matcha? You got Caleb Williams diet? When I
- 28:33Speaker 6: see Caleb Williams walking in with that matcha and those
- 28:36Speaker 6: headphones in, I'm like, oh, he locked in.
- 28:38Speaker 7: Oh, he's locked in for sure.
- 28:39Speaker 8: I don't know who they're playing, but they're about to
- 28:41Speaker 8: give up Fitty.
- 28:43Speaker 5: They're about to give up Fitty. It's actually a good
- 28:46Speaker 5: game tonight.
- 28:47Speaker 7: Who's tonight? Bears-Patriots.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Oh, fun.
- 28:53Speaker 6: I think I'm going to bench Caleb until he gives
- 28:57Speaker 6: me two consistent games.
- 28:58Speaker 7: Yeah, they scored a lot last week. He didn't score
- 29:00Speaker 7: a lot of points.
- 29:00Speaker 5: He only had one touchdown.
- 29:03Speaker 7: You've got to watch the entrance to the stadium.
- 29:06Speaker 6: True.
- 29:08Speaker 8: Start watching about 435.
- 29:12Speaker 7: See what he's holding. See what he's drinking on. A
- 29:14Speaker 7: little matcha. Hammer it.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Our guest, Scott. Take the over.
- 29:18Speaker 7: Take the over.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Scott just gave me something to think about on the
- 29:21Speaker 5: way out. Okay. Toward all.
- 29:24Speaker 7: Yeah, I need some.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Toradol's not going to help you.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Like, if a doctor's ever like, you want to, and
- 29:30Speaker 5: he can't even get it out.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yes.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Shoot me up.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Toradol would definitely help me. It does everything.
- 29:35Speaker 5: It does.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Really?
- 29:36Speaker 7: If it's in an IV, straight to the veins.
- 29:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 5: That's how I used to get it before every football game.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Straight in the IV.
- 29:41Speaker 6: Well, I get the pain part, but if you're sick,
- 29:44Speaker 6: what's that going to do for you?
- 29:45Speaker 7: It's fever.
- 29:45Speaker 8: All the symptoms of a fever, it just knocks them
- 29:48Speaker 8: out for me. Ibuprofen does wonders for me when I
- 29:51Speaker 8: feel like this.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 7: I'm just trying to time up my first dosage. You know,
- 29:55Speaker 7: flu game later.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Yeah, no doubt.
- 29:58Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break. Continue reacting to the
- 30:01Speaker 4: good injury report. What does it mean for LSU? What
- 30:04Speaker 4: does the game look like overall as we give another
- 30:07Speaker 4: look at it?
- 30:08Speaker 5: Going to be on the planes early Saturday morning. We'll
- 30:10Speaker 5: do it right here on OTB.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Off the bench.

- 30:55Speaker 8: do laundry. You got to cook. You got to wash
- 30:57Speaker 8: the dishes. You got to, everyone's got to take showers, baths,
- 31:00Speaker 8: and you run out of hot water. That is the worst.

- 31:11Speaker 8: Central Plumbing, centralplumbing.org.
- 31:19Speaker 9: From the locker room to the airwaves, it's Off the

- 31:55Speaker 6: Do you know.
- 31:58Speaker 10: I'm faking When I'm lying next to you Do you
- 32:05Speaker 10: know that I am blind To everything you ever do
- 32:10Speaker 10: Must be something on your mind Something lost for me.
- 32:29Speaker 12: All right, welcome back in OTB.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Here live from the Raising Cane's studio. I want to
- 32:40Speaker 4: give a shout out, a little reminder about our friends
- 32:42Speaker 4: over at K-Z. K-Z Interiors and Outdoor Living. Brandon Barton
- 32:47Speaker 4: came out to the house yesterday. Getting some new shades there.
- 32:52Speaker 4: He had like two briefcases.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Full of options.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Of like different materials that we could use. I had
- 32:59Speaker 4: no idea that they could have that many, but him
- 33:01Speaker 4: and Katie sat there, they worked through it. She kind
- 33:03Speaker 4: of gave an idea of what she was looking for.
- 33:05Speaker 4: And Brandon's like, I got you flipped to.
- 33:07Speaker 5: It, pulled it. Here you go. Ready to go.
- 33:10Speaker 4: I did not even know that you could have motorized
- 33:14Speaker 4: screens in the house too.
- 33:17Speaker 5: I mean, and then we have one wall that had
- 33:20Speaker 5: an outlet where you plug it in.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:22Speaker 5: We're good. We had another one that didn't have one.
- 33:23Speaker 5: He's like, oh, it's good. We got one that has
- 33:25Speaker 5: a rechargeable battery. I was like, rechargeable? He goes, yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 5: you charge it like once every nine months, and you're
- 33:31Speaker 5: good to go. I was like, this is awesome. Didn't
- 33:36Speaker 5: know this was a thing. Dang, dude.
- 33:38Speaker 4: That's why Brandon Barton's been doing it since 2004.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Have KTC come out to your spot. Got it all
- 33:43Speaker 5: juiced up now, huh? Ready to go. Ktozblinds.com is the website.
- 33:49Speaker 5: Inside and outside, outside and inside. Ktozblinds.com. All right, let's
- 33:56Speaker 5: go around the room.
- 34:00Speaker 4: How are we feeling on Thursday, traveling to Auburn, Alabama tomorrow,
- 34:05Speaker 4: about the matchup? LSU, touchdown favorite, on the road, Jordan Hare.
- 34:11Speaker 4: How are we feeling about the matchup? Maybe like things
- 34:14Speaker 4: you're feeling good about, things you're feeling a little, I
- 34:19Speaker 4: don't really know about.
- 34:20Speaker 8: I felt very good about all the games this year, which,
- 34:23Speaker 8: you know. I don't have a great record, I guess.
- 34:26Speaker 8: Lost twice. I do, but I do feel good about
- 34:30Speaker 8: the way Sam Levitt's playing. Okay, so if Sam Levitt
- 34:34Speaker 8: continues to progress as a quarterback, I feel confident in
- 34:38Speaker 8: all the games. Not like confident, like I know we're
- 34:40Speaker 8: going to win. Like I know we're going to win
- 34:42Speaker 8: every single game we play. No, I'm not saying that.
- 34:44Speaker 8: I'm just saying that we are going to be in
- 34:46Speaker 8: a spot to win. We are going to be competitive.
- 34:49Speaker 8: We are going to have an opportunity in the fourth
- 34:51Speaker 8: quarter to win each and every game. Which you have.
- 34:55Speaker 8: Which you absolutely have been. You've lost twice on the road,
- 34:58Speaker 8: at night, in really tough environments, and lost a combined
- 35:01Speaker 8: nine points. Like, you have been competitive, and I think
- 35:04Speaker 8: you're going to be more and more competitive as Sam
- 35:06Speaker 8: continues to progress. And hopefully the news is true that
- 35:09Speaker 8: Trey Dez is actually back. That just adds a whole
- 35:13Speaker 8: different level to what is already a very good offense.
- 35:18Speaker 7: Are they a great offense?
- 35:20Speaker 1: No.
- 35:21Speaker 7: They're not a great offense. They.
- 35:23Speaker 8: they're ranked they're at top of the rankings throughout like
- 35:26Speaker 8: on a lot of different categories in the country and
- 35:28Speaker 8: certainly at the top of the sec when it comes
- 35:30Speaker 8: to a lot of those um but they have not
- 35:33Speaker 8: reached the you know a great level or or come
- 35:37Speaker 8: near it yet now they've played great at times but
- 35:40Speaker 8: consistently speaking um we haven't reached that point where every
- 35:43Speaker 8: time we get the ball like remember the feeling you
- 35:45Speaker 8: had when like this is an unfair comparison but you
- 35:47Speaker 8: remember the feeling you had when jayden took the ball
- 35:49Speaker 8: yeah and when they got the ball didn't matter if
- 35:50Speaker 8: it was on your own one yard line you're like
- 35:52Speaker 8: oh we're gonna score like 100 right that's what you
- 35:54Speaker 8: call greatness right now like that's hard to reach it's
- 35:58Speaker 8: hard to reach that level i don't know if they're
- 35:59Speaker 8: gonna get there this year i doubt it it's hard
- 36:02Speaker 8: to do it's very rare but the difference.
- 36:04Speaker 4: In that in that scenario because you're right like you
- 36:06Speaker 4: did feel like jayden's about to go score with malik
- 36:08Speaker 4: and btj was like are we going to be able
- 36:10Speaker 4: to stop a nosebleed you don't have that this year.
- 36:13Speaker 8: Yeah it's very everything's balanced And I know there's injuries
- 36:19Speaker 8: on defense.
- 36:21Speaker 7: We've talked about it a bunch.
- 36:22Speaker 8: Blake Baker's got to feel like he has the opportunity
- 36:27Speaker 8: to be a better coordinator because of what his offense
- 36:30Speaker 8: gives us.
- 36:32Speaker 5: In the past, he's had to be perfect.
- 36:33Speaker 8: This year, he doesn't because your offense is capable, and
- 36:35Speaker 8: it's going to be even more capable if Trey Des
- 36:37Speaker 8: is indeed back.
- 36:40Speaker 5: All right, blank space.
- 36:42Speaker 6: I feel a little nervous about it only because of
- 36:47Speaker 6: everything surrounding it, like coming off a win over top,
- 36:52Speaker 6: literally the number one team in the country, and then
- 36:54Speaker 6: you're hosting it at home. It's an 11 a.m. game,
- 36:57Speaker 6: which I think is the same for each team. You know,
- 37:01Speaker 6: like Auburn might be a little more used to it
- 37:04Speaker 6: than LSU is, but to me, the kickoff time doesn't
- 37:08Speaker 6: matter as much, I don't think. But I think whichever
- 37:14Speaker 6: way it goes, it's going to be an intense game,
- 37:18Speaker 6: I think. I think the whole entire time.
- 37:20Speaker 5: I'm going to be like, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh,
- 37:21Speaker 5: my God.
- 37:23Speaker 6: Yeah. Not because Auburn's a great team. I think they're
- 37:27Speaker 6: a good team. I think they can be a good
- 37:29Speaker 6: team at times. I think Byron Brown is good. But
- 37:33Speaker 6: the type of quarterback he is makes me a little
- 37:35Speaker 6: nervous because we've, like, struggled against ones like him.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yep.
- 37:39Speaker 6: I do think we do a lot better this season,
- 37:41Speaker 6: but I feel a little bit slightly nervous about it.
- 37:46Speaker 6: I think maybe we win, but I don't know.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, you're not just like, let's get in and get out.
- 37:54Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I think that they're going to give you
- 37:56Speaker 6: a little bit of a fight. I mean, they gave
- 37:59Speaker 6: Georgia a hell of one.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Yeah, all the way to the end, and they finished it.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:04Speaker 5: No doubt.
- 38:05Speaker 6: But I agree that you need to come out And
- 38:08Speaker 6: you need to score first.
- 38:11Speaker 5: Malone? Hey, you remember.
- 38:15Speaker 11: The only thing that worries me is that it is Auburn.
- 38:19Speaker 11: It is a Jordan Air Stadium. Weird crap happens in
- 38:23Speaker 11: this rivalry, home or away. That's why it's been my
- 38:26Speaker 11: favorite rivalry for such a long time is because you
- 38:29Speaker 11: never know what to expect. It really hasn't mattered in
- 38:31Speaker 11: the past how good or bad one of these teams are.
- 38:34Speaker 5: It's always been tight. It's always been competitive.
- 38:37Speaker 11: Having said that, though, I really like LSU's matchup defensively
- 38:41Speaker 11: against Auburn's offense.
- 38:42Speaker 5: Look, I keep bringing it up.
- 38:44Speaker 11: I brought it up before the season that you haven't
- 38:46Speaker 11: been great against running quarterbacks traditionally under Blake Baker. But
- 38:49Speaker 11: you have been this year. You've been a little bit
- 38:51Speaker 11: better this year than you have in years past. If
- 38:54Speaker 11: you can shut down Byron Brown... Jake, we talked about
- 38:57Speaker 11: Jeremiah Cobb a little bit yesterday. Good player has never
- 39:01Speaker 11: been a guy that's going to get 20 to 25
- 39:02Speaker 11: carries a game. So that puts more on his plate.
- 39:06Speaker 11: And also, Auburn's receivers on the outside don't scare me.
- 39:09Speaker 5: I mean, I think they're good. I think they're average receivers.
- 39:12Speaker 5: But I trust P.J. Woodland, D.J.
- 39:13Speaker 11: Pickett, and those two safeties over anybody Auburn rolls out
- 39:17Speaker 11: there and pass catchers. If you shut down Byron Brown running,
- 39:20Speaker 11: you shut down Auburn's offense. And I think LSU is
- 39:22Speaker 11: going to do that.
- 39:25Speaker 5: I am.
- 39:25Speaker 4: I'm in a little bit in the same thought process
- 39:27Speaker 4: as Alondra with the quarterback runs, the Q runs. And
- 39:33Speaker 4: I got to see that you got to be able
- 39:34Speaker 4: to go out there and you have to have a
- 39:36Speaker 4: good game plan. Now we'll say the only time we
- 39:39Speaker 4: really got a chance to see this, this year was
- 39:42Speaker 4: against Marcel and you.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Did a much, much better job. You had a really
- 39:46Speaker 5: good game plan.
- 39:47Speaker 4: I mean, remember, we were showing that they were showing
- 39:49Speaker 4: the looks where they were playing straight man cover one
- 39:52Speaker 4: across the board. They were dropping a cover two. The
- 39:54Speaker 4: guys were disguising it really well. They had a great
- 39:57Speaker 4: game plan to confuse him. So can they do it again? Like,
- 40:00Speaker 4: Trinidad didn't really run on LSU.
- 40:02Speaker 6: Trinidad didn't.
- 40:03Speaker 5: He had, like, two runs. Now, one went for a touchdown,
- 40:06Speaker 5: big play in the game, but he did not really
- 40:08Speaker 5: get loose.
- 40:09Speaker 6: But the biggest run of the season so far, you
- 40:11Speaker 6: let them convert two points on it. Oh, yeah.
- 40:16Speaker 5: Well, hell no. Hunt Palmer could have ran through that one.
- 40:21Speaker 9: Wow.
- 40:22Speaker 6: That's like a straight up hunt.
- 40:26Speaker 5: Anybody in this building.
- 40:28Speaker 11: I'm not even calling it a run. Kenny Minchie walked
- 40:31Speaker 11: his happy ass into the end zone.
- 40:35Speaker 5: My God.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:38Speaker 4: And on that note, but I do agree with Alondra.
- 40:41Speaker 4: Like you can't just go into this saying, oh, no doubt.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Let's just throw the helmets out there. You've got to
- 40:46Speaker 4: show up. You've got to play well. I think they'll
- 40:48Speaker 4: play well. You've got to stop the quarterback run. You
- 40:50Speaker 4: stop the quarterback run, I think you win this game.
- 40:52Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break. More OTB when we
- 40:54Speaker 4: come back here live from the Raising Cane Studio.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 40:57Speaker 4: All right, go to TrashRangers.com, residential commercial trash pickup service
- 41:03Speaker 4: right here in the Capital City area. Now, remember, they
- 41:05Speaker 4: also have roll-off dumpsters. So if you've got a project
- 41:08Speaker 4: at your home, at your business, they have got you covered.
- 41:12Speaker 4: Three different sizes to choose from. Make sure you have
- 41:14Speaker 4: the right size on your job. Also, the sanitation department,
- 41:18Speaker 4: portable restrooms. I got you covered there. If you've got
- 41:21Speaker 4: an event, if you have a job site, they'll drop
- 41:23Speaker 4: it off, pick it up. No hassle to you. Go
- 41:25Speaker 4: to TrashRangers.com today. Go to TrashRangers, TrashRangers.com. Commercial, residential, roll-off dumpster,
- 41:33Speaker 4: you name it. If you have a business and you
- 41:36Speaker 4: make a lot of trash, it doesn't matter if you
- 41:37Speaker 4: have like 10 people working there, 1,000 people. It doesn't
- 41:39Speaker 4: matter how much trash you make or how much. You produce, like,
- 41:43Speaker 4: just give them a call. Talk to their customer service agents.
- 41:45Speaker 8: They can customize a trash removal service for you, whether
- 41:48Speaker 8: it's one time a week, six times a week, 100 dumpsters,
- 41:50Speaker 8: 10 dumpsters, whatever it is. They're the best. We see
- 41:52Speaker 8: those big red dumpsters every single where. Trash Rangers, go
- 41:55Speaker 8: to trashrangers.com.
- 41:56Speaker 7: I see that I.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Never really got it right.
- 42:03Speaker 3: Tigers turn talkers. This is Off the Bench. I'm always
- 42:06Speaker 3: wrapped up in things I cannot win.
- 42:12Speaker 1: You are the antidote that gets me by.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Something strong like a drug that gets me high. What
- 42:23Speaker 2: I really meant to say is I'm sorry for the
- 42:29Speaker 2: way I am. I never meant to be so cold.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Never meant to.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Be so cold. What I really meant to say.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Is I'm All right, welcome back in. OTB. Hunt had
- 42:49Speaker 5: a rebuttal.
- 42:50Speaker 4: He said three-time first-team all-district 1-2-8, LSU intramural champion. Hashtag credentials,
- 42:58Speaker 4: hashtag elite, hashtag Snoopy speed. He was, look, basketball player,
- 43:04Speaker 4: baseball player, good player.
- 43:06Speaker 6: I'm unfamiliar with what Snoopy Speed means.
- 43:08Speaker 4: His mascot for the school that he went to, the
- 43:10Speaker 4: Loyola Flyers, is Snoopy.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Oh, like as the flying ace?
- 43:15Speaker 4: They are the only school in the country that has
- 43:18Speaker 4: permission to use Snoopy. The middle of their football field
- 43:21Speaker 4: has Snoopy on top of the Red House.
- 43:26Speaker 5: On the side of their helmet is Snoopy.
- 43:28Speaker 6: I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
- 43:30Speaker 5: It's the Red Baron.
- 43:32Speaker 6: That's adorable.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:34Speaker 5: It's their real mascot.
- 43:35Speaker 6: Go Snoops.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Loyola college prep.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Not collegiate. You good?
- 43:47Speaker 5: Stay away from me, Ricky Bobby.
- 43:50Speaker 7: Kind of hard.
- 43:50Speaker 6: I think we should at least have this door open,
- 43:55Speaker 6: just letting it let the air circulate.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Taylor's not going to let that happen. That door's open,
- 44:00Speaker 5: and we're about to come on. He slams it shut.
- 44:03Speaker 7: Get out.
- 44:05Speaker 5: Well, all these people working might come in.
- 44:09Speaker 6: The people in the hallway might distract us.
- 44:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 5: There's literally nobody ever here until like 9.30.
- 44:15Speaker 7: Maybe. Anyway. Cade.
- 44:20Speaker 5: Yeah, sometimes. Yeah, Cade normally gets here about 8.
- 44:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:23Speaker 7: Shut up.
- 44:26Speaker 5: All right.
- 44:26Speaker 4: We're going to make it, Flynn. I got faith in you.
- 44:28Speaker 4: I believe in you. We're going to get it done.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Just two more hours.
- 44:34Speaker 7: And the rest of the day starts.
- 44:39Speaker 5: Oh, the golf match. Hey, you know what you should
- 44:41Speaker 5: probably do? Drink some my high.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.

- 44:56Speaker 4: Three.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Three.
