- 0:44Speaker 2: from Inside the Birds. We've got our great beat reporter
- 0:47Speaker 2: Andrew Duiceco and our special guest, a man who's been
- 0:51Speaker 2: with Eagles a couple decades. He's an Eagles insider. He's
- 0:54Speaker 2: a great Dave Spernaro. Dave, break to see you, gentlemen,
- 0:57Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Twenty ninth, let's see nights.
- 1:00Speaker 3: That's thirty. That's amazing. Twenty ninth.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Wait twenty nine years, wait twenty nine seasons, twenty eight years.
- 1:07Speaker 5: How heavy is that ring?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:09Speaker 4: It's very heavy, Adam. You have not seen the ring?
- 1:11Speaker 4: You've have you held the ring? Have you seen ring?
- 1:14Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:14Speaker 3: It's uh, we don't talk about last.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Year's ring, but but I usually bring it around and
- 1:18Speaker 4: just give it to fans. It's a door knocker, it's
- 1:21Speaker 4: not a it's not a ring. There's nothing you can
- 1:22Speaker 4: do with it.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:24Speaker 4: It is so large that you have to have special
- 1:28Speaker 4: protection and a chiropractor handy to wear it.
- 1:30Speaker 3: But it is.
- 1:30Speaker 4: It is obnoxious, it is bling, and it is wonderful
- 1:35Speaker 4: and hopefully the Eagle will get an even bigger one.
- 1:36Speaker 5: They should it, right, who got to You've got to?
- 1:39Speaker 3: It's been, it's been, it's been a great run. I mean,
- 1:41Speaker 3: I it's funny.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Today I got a call from the Pro Football Hall
- 1:44Speaker 4: of Fame and are you going in? No, I'm not
- 1:47Speaker 4: going in, but they're they're doing some things and and
- 1:49Speaker 4: they they mentioned some, you know, some names that are
- 1:52Speaker 4: being considered out there, and one of the names in
- 1:55Speaker 4: the conversation was Jim Gallagher.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Now, Andrew, you're too young to know. Jim Gallaxer.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Jim Gallas is one of only I think two players
- 2:03Speaker 4: are two Media relations public relations to people in any.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Team's hall of fame. Lee Remner is in Green Bay's
- 2:10Speaker 3: Hall of Fame.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yes, yes, and and Jim Gallagher is in the Eagles
- 2:14Speaker 4: Hall of Fame. And for those who don't know who
- 2:15Speaker 4: Jim Gallagher is, Jim Gallagher worked with the Eagles for
- 2:18Speaker 4: decades upon decades through the sixties, seventies, eighties. I think
- 2:24Speaker 4: he made it midway through the nineties, late into the
- 2:27Speaker 4: nineties maybe, And it's just like such a you think back, like,
- 2:31Speaker 4: oh my god, I'm the one who's been around. It's
- 2:34Speaker 4: amazing for that long. And I used to be the
- 2:36Speaker 4: young guy. Now I'm the old guy. Certainly, certainly, certain
- 2:39Speaker 4: thank you.
- 2:40Speaker 3: That's say that's the old guy.
- 2:43Speaker 4: But it's really great to be around and fantastic organization.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Blessed to be a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So we are here at Chick and Pete on Roosevelt Boulevard.
- 2:52Speaker 2: It's Adam Kaplan, Andrew de Czecko, da Spanawo. So Dave,
- 2:55Speaker 2: let's get right to it. Yeah, you've been with this
- 2:57Speaker 2: team a long time. To shut a club, I don't
- 3:00Speaker 2: care what the record is, that's really impressive. Let's get
- 3:02Speaker 2: your opening thoughts on the big win against the Raiders.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think it was a needed win
- 3:05Speaker 4: for sure. I mean the three losses was taxing. I'll
- 3:10Speaker 4: give you a funny story to begin sure. So on
- 3:13Speaker 4: Friday morning, the couple of members from the Raiders alumni
- 3:17Speaker 4: program came in and they came to the Overcare complex
- 3:20Speaker 4: and they had flown in on Thursday night, and they
- 3:24Speaker 4: told us the first thing they did, they raced to
- 3:26Speaker 4: get a car and did they wanted to turn on
- 3:28Speaker 4: sports talk readings?
- 3:29Speaker 3: Oh? No, they wanted to hear.
- 3:31Speaker 4: They wanted to They wanted to hear if Eagles fans
- 3:34Speaker 4: are as the reputation suggests, and they could not stop laughing.
- 3:40Speaker 4: They were hilarious about the misery that Eagles fans are feeling,
- 3:45Speaker 4: or work feeling for a team that has been to
- 3:48Speaker 4: three Super Bowls in the last eight years, has been
- 3:50Speaker 4: in the last two of two of the last three
- 3:51Speaker 4: super Bowls, and his is won to of the last
- 3:53Speaker 4: eight super Bowls, and at that point was eight and five.
- 3:56Speaker 3: In first place in the NFC East.
- 3:58Speaker 4: And they're like, hey, we're two and eleven and we
- 4:01Speaker 4: haven't won a Super Bowl since nineteen eighty three, and
- 4:05Speaker 4: all Eagles fans are doing is complaining what is this
- 4:07Speaker 4: town all about? And our point was, it's just it's
- 4:10Speaker 4: great passion and so so to alleviate some of that stress,
- 4:14Speaker 4: some of that misery with a win over the Raiders,
- 4:16Speaker 4: a team that is as bad as I've ever seen
- 4:20Speaker 4: it was. It was really it was kind of a
- 4:21Speaker 4: they call it a get right game. It was a
- 4:23Speaker 4: get right game for the Eagles on every front. The
- 4:25Speaker 4: offense came right out scored, the defense played really well,
- 4:28Speaker 4: the special teams did his job. No injuries, and combined
- 4:31Speaker 4: with the loss by the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles magic
- 4:34Speaker 4: number in the NFCAS is now one.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Right, So let me ask you, Andrew, and we'll get
- 4:37Speaker 2: to you and Dave because you're in there too. Locker room,
- 4:39Speaker 2: you know, because Syrianna kind of alluded to it. If
- 4:42Speaker 2: you watch Hard Knocks, he's talking about shutting out the
- 4:44Speaker 2: outside noise and all that. Yeah, you've you really go
- 4:47Speaker 2: with a pulse of because you talked to a lot
- 4:49Speaker 2: of players, you've gotten to know them.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Were they feeling it with that Luke streak?
- 4:55Speaker 6: No, because the sense that I always got from talking
- 4:58Speaker 6: to them is that they know what they're case and
- 5:01Speaker 6: they knew what they needed to do in terms of
- 5:03Speaker 6: you know, details, fundamentals and things like that that they
- 5:06Speaker 6: sort of lost their way, but they know how talented
- 5:09Speaker 6: they are, so they never waivered or they never lost,
- 5:11Speaker 6: you know, belief in the messaging or anything. And I
- 5:13Speaker 6: think if you're an Eagles fan listening, you could take
- 5:16Speaker 6: salas in the fact that after that game, after they
- 5:18Speaker 6: demolished the Raiders blanking them thirty one to zero. Pre
- 5:22Speaker 6: eminent leaders on that unit, whether it was Jordan Davis
- 5:25Speaker 6: who said, we did what we were supposed to do
- 5:27Speaker 6: or Cooper dejen who said that's what this game should
- 5:31Speaker 6: have looked like.
- 5:32Speaker 7: They weren't feeling themselves.
- 5:33Speaker 6: They weren't getting complacent, but they were more having a
- 5:36Speaker 6: business like approach, and that, to me is the mark
- 5:39Speaker 6: of a really good football And I will.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Say this all Ed, I agree with you, Andrew. I'll
- 5:42Speaker 4: say this, I think that while that is all true,
- 5:46Speaker 4: I think the Eagles really did feel relieved just a
- 5:50Speaker 4: little bit. I mean, getting back on the winning track.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Winning does cure all ills, and this team knew it needed.
- 5:57Speaker 3: A win and to have the Cowboys.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Breathing down your neck like that, and to play the
- 6:04Speaker 4: game the Eagles played on Monday Night, where a lot
- 6:07Speaker 4: of things went well against the Chargers, but the giveaways really.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Costant team, so to come out and do things the
- 6:12Speaker 3: right way.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I think they expected that to happen, and then when
- 6:16Speaker 4: it did, I think they just felt really a pretty
- 6:19Speaker 4: deep sigh of relief and like, hey, let's go and
- 6:21Speaker 4: get ready for the Washington Commanders. And then when they
- 6:23Speaker 4: when the Dallas Cowboys lost to Minnesota, I mean that
- 6:26Speaker 4: that changes everything. Yeah, from a mindset standpoint, you know,
- 6:29Speaker 4: you're the Eagles need one win or a Cowboys lost to.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Clinch the NFC East.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Do you still hope to get the number one seed. Yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 4: but mathematically it's gonna be very difficult to do that. Sure,
- 6:40Speaker 4: but this might provide a chance for the Eagles with
- 6:43Speaker 4: a win on Saturday, to give them some rest going
- 6:46Speaker 4: down the stretch.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Let me, I see a question about Nick Siranic, because
- 6:48Speaker 2: every player we've had on we've asked this question, and
- 6:51Speaker 2: Nick has had an incredible run here. Let's let's face Yes,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I mean, I agree, he's been phenomenal. I mean he's
- 6:56Speaker 2: a guy that people thought was a joke when he
- 6:58Speaker 2: was hired. Same people said that about Andy Reid, who'd
- 7:01Speaker 2: never been a coordinator.
- 7:02Speaker 4: But Jeffrey Lourie has an amazing record, really good coaches.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So let's get to it. Your thoughts on Nick Siriotti
- 7:08Speaker 2: from day one and twenty one through now.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Uh, At first, you know, a little overwhelming for him.
- 7:17Speaker 4: He didn't really surround himself with those veteran coaches, and
- 7:20Speaker 4: you kind of wondered, like, you know, when Andy came in,
- 7:23Speaker 4: it was Jim Johnson as a defensive coordinator. The offensive
- 7:26Speaker 4: coordinator was a long time guy in the league. Two,
- 7:28Speaker 4: I forget who it was. Do you remember Adam who
- 7:31Speaker 4: got dal exactly?
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and then b and then Brad Schilders and so
- 7:35Speaker 4: guys have been in the league for a while to
- 7:36Speaker 4: kind of paved the way and trying to do things.
- 7:39Speaker 4: But Nick figured it out and and with the surrounding cast.
- 7:42Speaker 4: You know, the one thing about the Eagles, there's a
- 7:44Speaker 4: lot of longevity in the building. And I'm certainly not
- 7:48Speaker 4: part of the coaching staff, but I'm part of the longevity.
- 7:51Speaker 4: So you know how he's been there for a while. Uh,
- 7:53Speaker 4: the Eagles John Ferrari's assistant general manager. I mean, there's
- 7:56Speaker 4: a lot of people who had been in place and
- 7:59Speaker 4: had had a lot of success who could kind of
- 8:01Speaker 4: show Nick the way he learned very well. He delegated well.
- 8:05Speaker 4: He was smart enough early to give his play calling duties,
- 8:11Speaker 4: and he creates and still does an incredibly energetic atmosphere,
- 8:17Speaker 4: a collegiate atmosphere, everything from all the competition they have,
- 8:22Speaker 4: to the various speakers and motivational moments that they have,
- 8:26Speaker 4: to the basketball hoop in the auditorium. Yes, sure, I
- 8:30Speaker 4: mean it is a very lively, entertaining message from him
- 8:35Speaker 4: on a daily basis, and I think that really makes
- 8:38Speaker 4: it fun for the players.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Andrew, you've been covering the team for a while now,
- 8:42Speaker 2: You've been around Nick. You've seen nickuld practice and training camp,
- 8:44Speaker 2: so forthwar are your thoughts on this guy.
- 8:46Speaker 6: He has a lot of passion and he's obsessed with
- 8:50Speaker 6: the game of football, but he finds different ways to
- 8:53Speaker 6: freshen his messaging and it always seems to resonate to
- 8:56Speaker 6: be able to get and Dave, you know this, to
- 8:58Speaker 6: be able to get ninety players, I'm looking at it
- 9:00Speaker 6: through the lens of training camp. To get all of
- 9:03Speaker 6: those players to buy in, it takes a special kind
- 9:05Speaker 6: of leader, and just from being around Nick Sirianni, he
- 9:09Speaker 6: he learns from previous mistakes, whether it was twenty twenty
- 9:12Speaker 6: one in the play calling, whether it was twenty twenty
- 9:14Speaker 6: three and the slide at the end of the season,
- 9:16Speaker 6: he's talked about having notes about how to you know,
- 9:19Speaker 6: rectify that' so that it doesn't happen again. I just
- 9:21Speaker 6: think that he's constantly searching for different ways to you know, refine.
- 9:25Speaker 7: His coaching, and even if that's talking.
- 9:28Speaker 6: To other other coaches and other sports in the offseason
- 9:31Speaker 6: just to kind of, you know, hone in on that area.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Andrew hit on a really important point.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Nick is a student of the game.
- 9:38Speaker 4: You know, there have been multiple instances where during a
- 9:40Speaker 4: press conference he's asked about something and he'll cite case
- 9:44Speaker 4: studies or various examples of moments during a game, or
- 9:48Speaker 4: you know, scenarios that he had researched that he had
- 9:51Speaker 4: prepared for. And this is a man who is completely
- 9:55Speaker 4: obsessed with the game. And I harken back to that
- 9:57Speaker 4: first press conference when he's in an empty auditorium, all
- 10:02Speaker 4: of the media are EPs and it was during COVID
- 10:05Speaker 4: and they're they're up on a board, right, so they're
- 10:07Speaker 4: up on a video screen, and he really stumbled and
- 10:11Speaker 4: he got skewered for his opening press con right, and
- 10:16Speaker 4: the and the seeds, you know, playing with the and
- 10:19Speaker 4: so like, you know, kind of making the squaring the
- 10:22Speaker 4: circle here, the way that the Raiders organization when they
- 10:26Speaker 4: came in, they couldn't wait to sample the Philadelphia Eagles
- 10:30Speaker 4: fan base. Right, And when the when the media makes
- 10:34Speaker 4: such an immediate verdict on a head coach a hot take,
- 10:40Speaker 4: that is so premature, uh, to have Nick Weather that.
- 10:45Speaker 4: I think he's a Philly guy. I mean he's very
- 10:47Speaker 4: strong internally. I personally think he's one of the best coaches.
- 10:51Speaker 4: And his record shows it that the NFL has had
- 10:54Speaker 4: in a modern day. I mean, his record has been fantastic.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Now do you question some of his play calls? Yes,
- 11:00Speaker 4: do you wonder some of the things that he does,
- 11:02Speaker 4: the methods that he has. Of course, and then you
- 11:04Speaker 4: look around the league and you see just how bad
- 11:08Speaker 4: it is around the league and you kind of go, hey, wait,
- 11:10Speaker 4: we got something pretty special here in Nick Sirianni. And
- 11:12Speaker 4: I think his win lost record talks about that speaks
- 11:15Speaker 4: about it speaks to that.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And Howie Roseman, you mentioned how he's a long time employee.
- 11:19Speaker 2: This is another guy that's been incredibly resilient. You know,
- 11:21Speaker 2: of course what happened in twenty fifteen when he's reassigning,
- 11:24Speaker 2: comes back with just incredible passionate.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Energy, and he's hitting on his draft which is second
- 11:33Speaker 3: top of the draft, which they.
- 11:34Speaker 2: First and second round. He's phenomenal. He's actually one of
- 11:37Speaker 2: the best drafters early. Yeah, first day, second day, third
- 11:40Speaker 2: day is another story, but first and second day phenomenal.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I it's hard to know what he was thinking or
- 11:46Speaker 2: why he's turning around, but I got to bring up
- 11:49Speaker 2: one guy. This made me think of as you said
- 11:51Speaker 2: that all a minute, I never thought Jordan Davis would
- 11:54Speaker 2: be a player because we saw he was grossly overweight.
- 11:58Speaker 5: You wondered how much how you love football.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I was in a scoutle report from talking to people
- 12:01Speaker 2: around the league, and this kid is dominating now, Dave.
- 12:05Speaker 5: He's been around this kid, and Andrew, you've been around him.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Dan Davis, isn't he I mean, he's he's physical, he's penetrating,
- 12:12Speaker 3: He's he's really really played well against the run. He's
- 12:15Speaker 3: added to the pass rush a little bit. His durability
- 12:17Speaker 3: has been terrific.
- 12:18Speaker 4: He's made plays, and I think it's fair to wonder, uh,
- 12:22Speaker 4: for the first couple of years of his career, would
- 12:25Speaker 4: he make it? And then all of a sudden midway
- 12:26Speaker 4: through last season, you see a new Jordan Davis.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:29Speaker 7: He also brings a lot of levity, right.
- 12:31Speaker 6: I think that in the you know, the marathon that
- 12:33Speaker 6: is an NFL season, you need that. But he's sort
- 12:36Speaker 6: of taken on that role where he's never in a
- 12:38Speaker 6: bad mood. He you know, is somebody whose voice resonates
- 12:42Speaker 6: throughout the locker room. And I just think he's really
- 12:45Speaker 6: grown into his role. You know, everybody progresses at different
- 12:48Speaker 6: rates and you can't you can't you know, expedite that.
- 12:51Speaker 6: But for Jordan Davis, he's much more comfortable. He's in
- 12:54Speaker 6: better shape, and I think that when you're playing well,
- 12:56Speaker 6: that also lends to being, you know a little bit
- 12:58Speaker 6: more jovial and things like that. But he has also
- 13:01Speaker 6: stepped up as a leader.
- 13:02Speaker 3: You know.
- 13:02Speaker 5: It's incredible.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So we know they lost two weeks ago out the Chargers,
- 13:06Speaker 2: but to do for this defense to make a big
- 13:08Speaker 2: jump since the Bears game without Jaalen Carter Davis pretty
- 13:11Speaker 2: impressive to.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Me, no doubt about it.
- 13:13Speaker 4: And it's look, there have been a lot of great
- 13:15Speaker 4: coaches in the history of the Philadelphia's coordinators. I would
- 13:20Speaker 4: put Vic Vango up with any of them obviously, right, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 4: I mean his ability to identify the skills of his
- 13:28Speaker 4: the skill sets of his players, and to tailor the
- 13:31Speaker 4: scheme to those skill sets rather than trying to fit
- 13:35Speaker 4: the square hole or the square pegans of the round hole.
- 13:38Speaker 4: And Cooper Degene, all right, we we know Cooper Degen's
- 13:41Speaker 4: a really good slot maybe the best slot cornerback we've seen,
- 13:45Speaker 4: nickel cornerback we've seen in recent years. You know, you
- 13:49Speaker 4: try to make him an outside cornerback, you give him
- 13:50Speaker 4: a shot, you realize it's just maybe not quite there.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Get him right back into the into the into the
- 13:55Speaker 4: slot position. Like I just think the coaching's great, the
- 13:57Speaker 4: way that he's used the linebackers, the way he has
- 14:00Speaker 4: brought back to Kobe Dean and accentuated his skill set,
- 14:04Speaker 4: a guy like Byron Young who stepped up and become
- 14:06Speaker 4: such a really good you know, the way that Jalx
- 14:10Speaker 4: Hunt has come from such a small school and in
- 14:13Speaker 4: year number two, what we're witnessing here is a kid
- 14:15Speaker 4: who's just played great football off the edge. To incorporate
- 14:19Speaker 4: Jalen Phillips so quickly into the defense is impressive. So yeah, uh,
- 14:23Speaker 4: it's a terrific defense, and it's a terrific Fick fan.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Joe's an awesome coaching and that's part of the magic
- 14:28Speaker 4: too of Howie Roseman and Jeffrey Louri and Nick Sirianni.
- 14:32Speaker 4: And it's a trust factor and the reason the Philadelphia
- 14:35Speaker 4: Eagles are so successful. It starts with Jeffrey his ability
- 14:38Speaker 4: to identify head coaches, his trust in Howie Roseman, the
- 14:41Speaker 4: people they put around them, the culture that is there
- 14:44Speaker 4: at the Novacare Complex. And it really gets highlighted when
- 14:47Speaker 4: you see that the Eagles play a team like the
- 14:51Speaker 4: Las Vegas Raiders who had no interest in being on
- 14:54Speaker 4: the field Sunday at Lake at Financial Field, so much
- 14:57Speaker 4: so that they were there for only two and a
- 14:59Speaker 4: half hours before they fall. That was that is we
- 15:02Speaker 4: all make the fastest game exactly in the NFL history
- 15:05Speaker 4: or where like recent years, like maybe ninety one or Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 4: that's that crazy.
- 15:09Speaker 6: But just to quickly add to what you were saying,
- 15:11Speaker 6: you know, in addition to Vic van Jail, his coaching
- 15:14Speaker 6: staff is assistant coaches Christian Parker. I've talked about for
- 15:18Speaker 6: the better part of the past two years. I think
- 15:20Speaker 6: he's going to be a defensive coordinator in the future.
- 15:22Speaker 3: We hope.
- 15:24Speaker 6: But you look at Bobby King Clint Hurt, they do
- 15:27Speaker 6: such a fantastic job of explaining the fundamentals and the
- 15:30Speaker 6: wise behind what they're asking their players to do. And
- 15:34Speaker 6: there's no mistake when you look across the board that
- 15:36Speaker 6: pretty much every player has making notable strides in their development.

- 18:04Speaker 2: on Rezuo Bovar till seven pm. It's now time for
- 18:07Speaker 2: this week's injury Review, brought to you by the attorneys
- 18:10Speaker 2: at Begley, Carlin and Mandio. Contact them today for a
- 18:14Speaker 2: free consultation at two on five eight six three six
- 18:17Speaker 2: eight nine. That's two on five. It was six three
- 18:21Speaker 2: six eight nine, So we'll get right to the Eagles.
- 18:23Speaker 5: They have a short list.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Lane Johnson with this lit frog Sprain which hadded Mike
- 18:28Speaker 2: Wimola's career. Mike was our guest and we talked about
- 18:31Speaker 2: that here on the Pro Football Report. But Lane is
- 18:34Speaker 2: going to try to get back very very soon, as
- 18:36Speaker 2: we understand it. We'll see what he does this week
- 18:38Speaker 2: in practice him. We'll see today today was a walk through.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I don't know yet if he was there.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Interesting, you know, does does the lass by the Cowboys
- 18:48Speaker 4: change how quickly.
- 18:50Speaker 3: You want to bring Lane back.
- 18:51Speaker 4: You don't really have to force him back against the
- 18:54Speaker 4: Washington Commanders, but the fact that he's even being considered
- 18:58Speaker 4: to play on Saturday is extremely.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Encouraging for the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 19:02Speaker 4: All you want is to have Lane Johnson on the
- 19:04Speaker 4: field when the playoffs begin, and the same with Jalen Carter.
- 19:08Speaker 4: If you can get those two players back and there's
- 19:10Speaker 4: no further injuries, I mean, look, if Eagles get a
- 19:12Speaker 4: little bit of rest down the stretch here, guys, I
- 19:14Speaker 4: feel that they can beat anybody in the NFC.
- 19:17Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I agree, And yeah, to your point, maybe
- 19:21Speaker 6: they change their approach with Lane Johnson.
- 19:23Speaker 7: We'll find out.
- 19:24Speaker 6: But you know, I think Fred Johnson has done a
- 19:26Speaker 6: nice job, you know, filling in for the last four games,
- 19:29Speaker 6: you know, and very valuable.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Andrew think about it, how it didn't reacquire him from
- 19:34Speaker 2: Jacksonville because they traded Canard. They were running out of players,
- 19:37Speaker 2: and he's he's a solid It's.
- 19:39Speaker 7: Just a solid football day.
- 19:41Speaker 2: It's amazing me about Fred Johnson's career, right, this is
- 19:44Speaker 2: guy's a journeyman. He was very upfront, he was very
- 19:46Speaker 2: down on himself when he first got here. And you
- 19:51Speaker 2: guys know so tell us about Fred Johnson, Dave, You've.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Got really athletic, huge body. Jeff Stealton believes in him.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Didn't work for him really with the bang with the Steelers.
- 20:01Speaker 4: I think he was with Tampa Baya and all of
- 20:05Speaker 4: a sudden he comes here, he gets he's impressive. The
- 20:07Speaker 4: Eagles extend him. I remember in that training camp back
- 20:09Speaker 4: a couple of years ago, and he has ended up
- 20:11Speaker 4: playing a pretty key role in the last couple of
- 20:13Speaker 4: years here with various injuries at the offensive tackle positions,
- 20:17Speaker 4: notably with Lane Johnson.
- 20:19Speaker 3: But he's he's done well.
- 20:20Speaker 4: He's believe Look, Jeff Staltlin likes to get these big
- 20:24Speaker 4: pieces of clay and then mold them into really good
- 20:27Speaker 4: offensive linemen. And Fred Johnson is an excellent example of
- 20:30Speaker 4: one of those players.
- 20:31Speaker 3: And so it just is amazing to me.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Fred goes and signs with the Jacksonville Jaguars and just
- 20:38Speaker 4: didn't find any traction down there, was not playing well
- 20:41Speaker 4: in the summer. So the Eagles kind of flipped the
- 20:43Speaker 4: Jaguars a late pick. Yeah, and and he's here and
- 20:47Speaker 4: he's starting, he's playing well. And where would the Eagles
- 20:49Speaker 4: be without attack Fred Johnson. And of all of the
- 20:52Speaker 4: free agents that how he brought in, you know, not
- 20:56Speaker 4: not a lot of them have worked out, right, Like
- 20:58Speaker 4: you know, yeah, but was well, but okaj didn't work
- 21:03Speaker 4: You got hurt that Dori Jackson has stepped up and
- 21:06Speaker 4: played well. Yeah, but I would say Frank Jrrison Bryant, Yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 4: j Dillon you know, had his shot and kind of
- 21:12Speaker 4: kind of after that fumble at New York, he hasn't played.
- 21:16Speaker 4: It seems like Fred Johnson has been the marquee guy
- 21:19Speaker 4: in free agency and he was kind of an afterthought
- 21:21Speaker 4: as as as the regular season was beginning.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Sure, right, So the other injuries, Jalen Hurts turned his ankle,
- 21:25Speaker 2: we'll see if he chose the INTU report. Uh Sae
- 21:27Speaker 2: Quon with a neck if you saw him in the
- 21:29Speaker 2: sidelines working it out, Andrew. You will see about Jalen Carter,
- 21:32Speaker 2: not this week, but when he could return with the
- 21:34Speaker 2: procedure from both shoulders, which we think is some sort
- 21:38Speaker 2: of a shot, whether it's quarter shon or whatever. But
- 21:40Speaker 2: now this, let's get to the commanders. He goes play
- 21:42Speaker 2: at Washington while we should say in landover Maryland, Dave.
- 21:45Speaker 5: Yes, we'll get to that later.
- 21:47Speaker 2: That stadium, which is a nightmare, but at five eastern
- 21:49Speaker 2: kind of an odd time. Jane Daniels will not play.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He's got the the left elbow dislocation. He reinjured it
- 21:56Speaker 2: in the last game. They're being smart with their franchise quarterback.
- 21:59Speaker 2: He's gonna practice, but he will not play. Here's where
- 22:03Speaker 2: Here's where the Washington Smithson players. Austin Eckler, who was
- 22:06Speaker 2: their started for the season. He tours right a chilles
- 22:09Speaker 2: in week three. He's done for the season. Right, They
- 22:10Speaker 2: don't really have a third down back. Jerryman McNichols. I'm
- 22:13Speaker 2: told it's kind of it because he really good pest protector,
- 22:16Speaker 2: but he doesn't give you much juice.
- 22:18Speaker 5: He used to fumble a lot, but he's been illegal
- 22:20Speaker 5: he's been in league ten years. He's been a lot
- 22:23Speaker 5: of teams.
- 22:23Speaker 7: Started with the Buccaneers, Yeah, exactly, Jason Light drafted him.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Now Chris Rodriguez took over because talking to Washington, they
- 22:32Speaker 2: wanted they wanted a physical back Bill Jekwaski or not
- 22:36Speaker 2: Jack Corey, jackur what's his name, Crosskey.
- 22:40Speaker 7: Cross Crows, Yeah, Krosskey Merrit, Yeah, cross.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Right, Jackrey, Crosskey Merit right?
- 22:45Speaker 3: What was seventh? Yeah, I think he's a leading rusher.
- 22:50Speaker 3: He's done a good job.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Yeah, he's explosive, but he's not physical.
- 22:53Speaker 2: They wanted a physical run game because with Marcus Mariota starting,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you don't want him.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Throwing a lot with Brian What was the kid that
- 22:59Speaker 4: they went to San Franz Bra They did but one
- 23:02Speaker 4: cut guy downhill runner.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, they would have loved to have now, But back
- 23:06Speaker 2: then they thought cross Ky Merrick could be that guy.
- 23:09Speaker 2: But he's not physical enough. But Crossky Marroor you'll see
- 23:11Speaker 2: him on Saturday quite a bit. Other injuries, Look, McCaffrey
- 23:15Speaker 2: lost for the seat rest of the season, broke his
- 23:16Speaker 2: collar bone. Our friend Zach Ertz towards right a cl
- 23:20Speaker 2: You just wonder.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel for his family. Yeah, terrible. Uh.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Then defensively, this is how it's been injured for the season.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So they're feeling really good about themselves coming to the season.
- 23:31Speaker 2: We just talked about their offensive injuries. They lose both edges,
- 23:35Speaker 2: starting edges. Dietrich Gwise comes over on a free agent deal. Right,
- 23:39Speaker 2: quad tear? Who'll be out to next summer. That's a bad,
- 23:41Speaker 2: really bad injury. He's he went on our week three.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Dorant's Armstrong tears his ACL He's out week eight.
- 23:47Speaker 5: How do you survive this?
- 23:49Speaker 6: Yeah, you have to lean on your depth and then
- 23:51Speaker 6: probably saw some practice squad call ups.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Well, here's the thing about this, this means to me
- 23:57Speaker 4: coming out of last year, you know, Washington goes to
- 24:00Speaker 4: the NFC champions out of nowhere. The window in the
- 24:03Speaker 4: NFL can be so very quick closed very quickly. I
- 24:09Speaker 4: felt that going into the season. You know, they went out,
- 24:10Speaker 4: got Deebo, Samuel, they just they the Commanders weren't to
- 24:14Speaker 4: me an old team.
- 24:15Speaker 5: They're the oldest team in the NFL.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and that really kind of caught up with them
- 24:18Speaker 4: this year, and it's you look at Washington, you go,
- 24:22Speaker 4: they're not the hot young team in the NFC anymore.
- 24:24Speaker 4: They are a team where a year ago, if we
- 24:27Speaker 4: had talked about who made the best pick in the
- 24:30Speaker 4: twenty twenty four NFL Draft, would it be Chicago with
- 24:32Speaker 4: Caleb Williams or Washington with Jayden Daniels. One hundred percent
- 24:37Speaker 4: of the votes would have gone to Jayden Daniels. Now,
- 24:39Speaker 4: I'm not sure sure you would say that right. Jaydon
- 24:40Speaker 4: Daniels has been injured all season. Caleb Williams is leading
- 24:45Speaker 4: his Chicago Bears into the postseason to top the NFC North.
- 24:49Speaker 4: It's a crossroads kind of off season for the Washington Commanders.
- 24:53Speaker 3: This year is lost for them.
- 24:55Speaker 4: That said, it's really really difficult for the Philadelphiagals, for
- 24:59Speaker 4: any team to beat a team twice in three weeks.
- 25:02Speaker 3: First things first, got he beat them.
- 25:04Speaker 4: On Saturday at whatever the field is called, Northwest Field.
- 25:11Speaker 4: So but but I do think that there's a there's
- 25:13Speaker 4: a thought in me after watching the Raiders that teams
- 25:17Speaker 4: like this just don't show up on a cold December day.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Late in the season. It's just not going to happen
- 25:24Speaker 3: for the Washington Commanders.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Also in this this is where they also got crushed
- 25:27Speaker 5: in the Secretary h Latimer.
- 25:32Speaker 4: What they trade for him, Madam? They have two picks
- 25:34Speaker 4: for him and were they were they significant draft picks?
- 25:37Speaker 2: One of first they gave yes, yes, A Lottimore towards
- 25:40Speaker 2: a c L He went on ir Week ten. Trey
- 25:42Speaker 2: amis the second pick out of Mississippi broke exactly when
- 25:44Speaker 2: I are Week eleven. Jonathan Jones, who they acquired because
- 25:48Speaker 2: they had lacked up. He didn't play last week to
- 25:50Speaker 2: a rib injury. This is how bad it's gotten for them.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Antonio Hamilton, who's been a dime corner, basically like a
- 25:56Speaker 2: fourth or fifth corner.
- 25:57Speaker 3: He had a start.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Noah, he was a first round pick from Miami Dolphins.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Who's actually I'll give this guy credit. Yes, first round
- 26:05Speaker 2: pick of the Dolphins. He was a bust. He's actually
- 26:08Speaker 2: played some nickel, He's played corner. He starts in Saint Rastrol.
- 26:11Speaker 2: They he could play.
- 26:12Speaker 5: He's that's it. Kawan Martin out of Temple and Will
- 26:15Speaker 5: Harris has been around. They have nobody else.
- 26:18Speaker 7: Kuhan Martin Illinois.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Now he has quiet no no, no, but Will Harrison
- 26:21Speaker 2: quand Martin right, Illinois right. Kawan Martin was a team captain,
- 26:24Speaker 2: good player who could play Nickel, but they're running out
- 26:27Speaker 2: of players. Bobby Wagner, I'm told doesn't move very well anymore.
- 26:29Speaker 2: From tape, frankieluvu, mister mister blow up the US push
- 26:35Speaker 2: or you know von Miller you talk about it tape.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know, this is crazy for those locals. Jacob Martin,
- 26:42Speaker 2: who was a good player ten years ago, he was
- 26:44Speaker 2: their fifth edge to start the season.
- 26:46Speaker 5: He starts and they don't. They ran out of players.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Standrew, you know, Yeah, that's the situation that they had.
- 26:51Speaker 6: By the way, Uh Martin the safety he played at
- 26:55Speaker 6: Illinois with Kuhand.
- 26:56Speaker 7: Martin played with Sidney Brown. They were the two safeties there.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Quant Quanta, it's a pretty good player.
- 27:01Speaker 3: So what's your point here, Adam?
- 27:03Speaker 5: The point is you guys, you work for the Eagles,
- 27:05Speaker 5: so your team.
- 27:05Speaker 3: What is your points?
- 27:07Speaker 5: You guys are looking good here with matchups because what's
- 27:10Speaker 5: the record?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Four and ten?
- 27:11Speaker 5: Yeah, that's why they're so bad.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they've they've suffered injuries.
- 27:14Speaker 4: You let use your starting quarterback the offensive and score
- 27:16Speaker 4: many points of defense has been horrendous.
- 27:19Speaker 3: They're old.
- 27:20Speaker 4: They had the pressure of expectation this year after sneaking
- 27:24Speaker 4: up on teams last year. And let's face it, getting
- 27:26Speaker 4: lucky in a lot of games, the hell Merry Game,
- 27:29Speaker 4: for example, a lot of late wins, and when you
- 27:32Speaker 4: are a marked team in the NFL, it is very
- 27:33Speaker 4: difficult to win. So that said, they break an eight
- 27:36Speaker 4: game losing streak, or they end an eight game after
- 27:38Speaker 4: eight eighth straight losses, they end the losing streak with
- 27:41Speaker 4: a win over the Giants on Sunday, So maybe they're
- 27:43Speaker 4: feeling a little bit good about themselves with Marcus Mariota
- 27:47Speaker 4: as the starting quarterback looking for vengeance against the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I'm sure.
- 27:52Speaker 2: So all right, up next, we'll give our keys to
- 27:54Speaker 2: the game for an Eagles win over the host Commanders.
- 27:58Speaker 2: You're listen to the Pro Football Report presented by BCWSA

- 30:59Speaker 7: Right, yeah, but nothing by the pool, more like a
- 31:02Speaker 7: music venue and things.
- 31:03Speaker 5: No pizza joints, by the way, Do you get any
- 31:04Speaker 5: pizza when.
- 31:05Speaker 3: You're out there?
- 31:05Speaker 6: I went to the Rainbow Bar and Grill, the famous
- 31:08Speaker 6: Rainbow Bar and Grill, and had a really good, really
- 31:10Speaker 6: good pie there.
- 31:11Speaker 2: All right, interesting, All right everyone, it's time now for
- 31:13Speaker 2: this week's Penworth Financial Keys to the Game with Kitty.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Your financial future is Penworth Financial. Call them today at
- 31:20Speaker 2: two six seven nine nine seven four five oh three
- 31:23Speaker 2: or visit them at Penworth dot com.
- 31:25Speaker 5: All right, let's get to it.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Eagles offense, Dave, last two games, look, running game has
- 31:31Speaker 2: been better, Dave. How we feel about Saquon Barkley and
- 31:35Speaker 2: Tank Bigsby against Washington.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel good about the red skin of the
- 31:39Speaker 4: The Commanders allow I believe one hundred and thirty four
- 31:42Speaker 4: plus yards per game on the ground. I think they're
- 31:46Speaker 4: twenty eighth in the league against the run. They don't
- 31:49Speaker 4: generate a ton of pass rush pressure either. There's not
- 31:52Speaker 4: much of a threat on that defense. I feel like
- 31:56Speaker 4: a key to the game, of course, is look, I
- 31:58Speaker 4: always start with turnovers. The Eagles are forty one and
- 32:00Speaker 4: two when they win the turnover battle with Nick Sirianni
- 32:03Speaker 4: as the head coach. But I think they can run
- 32:04Speaker 4: the football, and I think they've shown signs here of
- 32:07Speaker 4: having an improved run game, hitting the edges a bit
- 32:10Speaker 4: more moving defensive lineman laterally effectively. I think that's been
- 32:15Speaker 4: really promising for them. Tank Bigsby, I know fans have
- 32:20Speaker 4: been calling for him, calling for him. We got to
- 32:22Speaker 4: see him late on Sunday against the Vegas Raiders and
- 32:25Speaker 4: he looked good again.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Saquon's got some juice.
- 32:28Speaker 4: I like the Eagles kind of controlling the line of
- 32:30Speaker 4: scrims and doing what they want against the Commanders defense
- 32:33Speaker 4: that just doesn't have much Andrew.
- 32:35Speaker 2: What would you like to see if from Eagle's offensive
- 32:37Speaker 2: terms of Okay, this is what they need to do
- 32:39Speaker 2: if they want to win this game.
- 32:40Speaker 6: Well, run the football. Foundationally, we know that that's what
- 32:43Speaker 6: they want to do. They made strives there the past
- 32:45Speaker 6: couple of weeks. Obviously, play a clean game. They had
- 32:47Speaker 6: three penalties. That just three penalties last week for about
- 32:50Speaker 6: thirty five yards. But really lean on Saquon Barkley, work
- 32:53Speaker 6: in some tank Bigsby, and continue to build on what
- 32:56Speaker 6: they were doing in games against the Chargers and the
- 32:59Speaker 6: Raiders when you know under center, mixing up you know,
- 33:02Speaker 6: a little pony package in there, and and motion, because
- 33:08Speaker 6: I think teams like this are really good to to
- 33:11Speaker 6: refine that you know against and work on that moving
- 33:14Speaker 6: forward into the postseason.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Dave, It's interesting because people are on kellenmore for two
- 33:18Speaker 2: months after that great game against Green Bay and Brazil,
- 33:20Speaker 2: and the offense sputtered for a couple of months, and
- 33:22Speaker 2: then all of a sudden more motion hurts us getting
- 33:26Speaker 2: more comfortable with him.
- 33:26Speaker 5: Well, I know the Charger game hurts, turned the ball over.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I'm not excusing that game.
- 33:34Speaker 2: And my big thing is we put this on ig
- 33:37Speaker 2: for our show is about when Jalen is decisive because
- 33:42Speaker 2: he's got a strong arm, he looks like you go, wow,
- 33:45Speaker 2: where's that been? Because it's a really good throw. He
- 33:48Speaker 2: made some really good throws last week, made.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Some really good throws, gave his his receivers an opportunity
- 33:53Speaker 4: to catch the ball through with some anticipation, some inside
- 33:56Speaker 4: that time he does not do as much. And look,
- 34:00Speaker 4: I think sometimes you need that game where you have
- 34:02Speaker 4: the step back game and you you take, you take
- 34:04Speaker 4: some chances, you turn the football.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Over and you go okay, well it's okay like it.
- 34:08Speaker 4: I know we lost the game, but I'm gonna take
- 34:10Speaker 4: the positives out of this and I'm gonna come out
- 34:13Speaker 4: slinging and when you get time out. Look again, go
- 34:16Speaker 4: back to Fred Johnson and the job he did. He
- 34:17Speaker 4: with Max Crosby a lot of one on one. He
- 34:20Speaker 4: did a beat, got beat once in the red zone.
- 34:22Speaker 4: But I mean that's gonna happen. Max Crossby is just
- 34:25Speaker 4: a terrific football player. I feel like Jalen is kind
- 34:29Speaker 4: of starting to really feel it a little bit and
- 34:32Speaker 4: it's really interesting that and one of the I always
- 34:35Speaker 4: love underdogs. Darius Cooper, Yeah, you guys should get on
- 34:39Speaker 4: the show. He's a great kid, a great story. He's
- 34:43Speaker 4: getting a little he's getting a little bit of time
- 34:45Speaker 4: here and there, a little bit more time, a little
- 34:47Speaker 4: bit more time, and he had a catch. He set
- 34:48Speaker 4: a couple of p i's the last two games, really
- 34:52Speaker 4: good blocking in the run game, and I just think
- 34:54Speaker 4: the the weapons are starting to open up a little bit.
- 34:56Speaker 4: And I really love the way that they used Dallas
- 34:58Speaker 4: Goddard in motion, the way they moved him around the formation.
- 35:02Speaker 4: The routes were were varied, and he killed the Vegas
- 35:05Speaker 4: Raiders defense. So and he and he got both aj
- 35:10Speaker 4: and DeVante involved in the game. And so sometimes that
- 35:13Speaker 4: is a challenge. But it's all going to start with
- 35:15Speaker 4: the run game. I think they come out running on Saturday,
- 35:18Speaker 4: and I think they'll have success as long as they
- 35:20Speaker 4: avoid the negative plays. If they can avoid playing from
- 35:23Speaker 4: behind the sticks, this offense I think will be okay
- 35:26Speaker 4: as the offensive line gets healthier and healthier.
- 35:28Speaker 2: So dave a key point here, and you were saying
- 35:30Speaker 2: it in passing is limiting mistakes. Only had three penalties
- 35:34Speaker 2: Degene on the personal foul which you shouldn't have had.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Well, he got called Tyler Lockett got in his face.
- 35:40Speaker 7: Can't push him exactly.
- 35:43Speaker 2: The veteran made him city Brown had had another and
- 35:47Speaker 2: Tyler Stein had his usual one. And it's funny because
- 35:50Speaker 2: the camera's looking he was looking up at the scoreboard.
- 35:52Speaker 2: He wanted to see the video board to see what
- 35:54Speaker 2: he did wrong. But that's Look, that's progress. Because they've
- 35:56Speaker 2: had a lot of penalties this season.
- 35:58Speaker 4: It's been too many penalties. And I mean, I know
- 36:01Speaker 4: that everybody wants to blame this or that. It comes
- 36:04Speaker 4: down to, as the players say, shooting themselves in the foot,
- 36:08Speaker 4: too many self inflicted wounds, way too many penalties. That
- 36:12Speaker 4: it's just a lack of focus, a lack of discipline,
- 36:15Speaker 4: a lack of technique. And so I think you have
- 36:18Speaker 4: to put an emphasis more on how you practice, how
- 36:21Speaker 4: you buckle down, how you focus, how you really play
- 36:23Speaker 4: with urgency. And clearly the Eagles played with more urgency
- 36:26Speaker 4: against a terrible football team on Sunday, and we'll see
- 36:28Speaker 4: if that carries over Saturday against another really bad team.
- 36:32Speaker 5: But it's a divisional game.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Yeah, no, Look, I'm not thinking anything for granted, I
- 36:35Speaker 4: just know this that you the Eagles are being presented
- 36:38Speaker 4: here with a scenario that's much more favorable than I'm
- 36:42Speaker 4: sure the conversation you had last week. If you win
- 36:45Speaker 4: on Saturday, you can really what are your chances of
- 36:49Speaker 4: getting to the number one seed? Very difficult?
- 36:51Speaker 3: Right? Sorry? Does two or three really matter that much?
- 36:54Speaker 3: I'm not sure it does.
- 36:55Speaker 4: You're playing San Francisco, you're playing Seattle, playing potentially Green
- 36:59Speaker 4: Bay in the playoffs, are hosting that game, and then
- 37:01Speaker 4: you're playing the two seed or the three seed, which
- 37:03Speaker 4: could be Chicago. So if you can strategically rest some
- 37:09Speaker 4: of your starters and get them ready down the stretch
- 37:12Speaker 4: for that that playoff run, again, I feel great about
- 37:16Speaker 4: the offense.
- 37:16Speaker 7: So Dave seven snaps two sacks.
- 37:19Speaker 6: For Brandon Graham. You've been around him a long time.
- 37:21Speaker 6: What do you make about his transition inside? And do
- 37:24Speaker 6: you have a favorite Brandon Graham's story that comes to mind?
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yeah? Well, in life, everything about Brandon Graham is a scream.
- 37:30Speaker 3: I mean I did a lot.
- 37:32Speaker 4: I did a lot of things with Brandon while he
- 37:33Speaker 4: was retired, and he always had the itch. We talked
- 37:35Speaker 4: about it for weeks and weeks before Oh really it
- 37:37Speaker 4: actually happened that he was that he was going to
- 37:39Speaker 4: come back and play. He kind of knew that there
- 37:41Speaker 4: was an opportunity possibly.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Why do you do that?
- 37:43Speaker 3: So what will you think? He was like?
- 37:44Speaker 5: He never could get out of his mind. He wanted
- 37:46Speaker 5: to play well.
- 37:46Speaker 4: I think I think he felt he still had some
- 37:48Speaker 4: gas left in the tank. And you know, remember the
- 37:50Speaker 4: last time that he really played a healthy game was
- 37:52Speaker 4: the Rams game last year. Yeah, look, I think I
- 37:55Speaker 4: think a lot of it is. I mean, the Raiders
- 37:57Speaker 4: gave him a chance to play a little bit here
- 37:59Speaker 4: like he's he had. He was much better than what
- 38:02Speaker 4: the interior of the Raiders offensive line was, so I
- 38:05Speaker 4: like to move down. They got to take a lot
- 38:08Speaker 4: of Really, they really have had to focus offensive lines
- 38:11Speaker 4: focus on Jalen Phillips.
- 38:13Speaker 3: That opens up.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Brandon Grahant for one on ones and he was quick
- 38:17Speaker 4: off the ball, he was powerful, he was direct to
- 38:20Speaker 4: Kenny Pickett. And that kind of game helps in so
- 38:24Speaker 4: many ways. You know, we look at Brandon Graham as
- 38:27Speaker 4: kind of a leader of the team. Sure, and he is,
- 38:29Speaker 4: but when you're not really playing that much or that well,
- 38:31Speaker 4: that that message only goes so far with some players
- 38:34Speaker 4: who haven't been around, who kind of go okay, old man,
- 38:37Speaker 4: we hear you. We hear you, but you can only
- 38:39Speaker 4: say so much. Now that he's had some success, had
- 38:42Speaker 4: to do quarterback Sacks. I feel like his voice, his enthusiasm,
- 38:47Speaker 4: his energy will be felt more and more and it
- 38:48Speaker 4: gives them another option inside that defenses continue to move
- 38:54Speaker 4: pieces around. It's another piece of weap, It's another weapon
- 38:58Speaker 4: for vic. The offenses have to be accountable for Brandon
- 39:01Speaker 4: Graham now, and I like him inside more than I
- 39:05Speaker 4: like him on the edge. Yeah, Andrew, since he brought
- 39:07Speaker 4: up Graham. But I don't really have a funny story
- 39:09Speaker 4: about Bege other than or a favorite Yeah, I mean
- 39:12Speaker 4: a funny a favorite story about Brown. I mean, I've
- 39:14Speaker 4: had so many moments with beg coming back from the
- 39:17Speaker 4: just like the sixteen years, the sixteenth year coming back
- 39:20Speaker 4: into the fold. He was just like a little kid.
- 39:24Speaker 4: He was like a little rookie.
- 39:26Speaker 3: And the joy that he played with this which is
- 39:28Speaker 3: a big word now being used the Philadelphia Eagles, Uh,
- 39:31Speaker 3: the energy that he had.
- 39:32Speaker 4: This is the happiness that he had of getting this
- 39:35Speaker 4: one final chance. It was like it was really fun
- 39:39Speaker 4: to see and it was really cool to see him smiling,
- 39:41Speaker 4: and it was just genuine well his energy. Dave you know,
- 39:44Speaker 4: I think it's very genuine. When I played golf with
- 39:46Speaker 4: him at the Midpen Bank Classic and in Hershey, I
- 39:50Speaker 4: could tell you. I told him we were sitting down,
- 39:53Speaker 4: I said, Dude, being around you, I just feel different.
- 39:55Speaker 5: You can't have a bad Yeah, exactly.
- 39:59Speaker 3: And that's that's the strength.
- 40:00Speaker 5: It's a suplifting, isn't it crazy?
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:02Speaker 5: I never felt like that, no offense, Dave, but I've
- 40:04Speaker 5: never felt that with anyone around me.
- 40:06Speaker 3: For it grand or not.
- 40:07Speaker 2: But you know, Andrew brought up Graham and Eagles defense
- 40:10Speaker 2: versus the Washington offense. I'll say this about Washington. Yes,
- 40:13Speaker 2: they're having trouble at quarterback obviously because he's hurt. Eckler's
- 40:17Speaker 2: loft for the season. I've had receiver injuries. Their line
- 40:21Speaker 2: is really good. Tunsl's having a great year. He wants
- 40:23Speaker 2: a new contract if he plays. Josh Connolly has been
- 40:26Speaker 2: a good story. He's a left Tackleed Argan, it's not
- 40:28Speaker 2: playing right. He's great up pretty well. So they've talked
- 40:31Speaker 2: about this Chris Paul, who's their strongest alignment physically, but
- 40:33Speaker 2: he's super rowing or he's their left guard.
- 40:36Speaker 5: So we'll see about that matchup.
- 40:37Speaker 2: And Tyler Biadish is still there, Eagles know him former cowboy,
- 40:40Speaker 2: and Cosme's come back well from his ac eltry. So
- 40:43Speaker 2: it's a good line. Not great, but it's a good line.
- 40:45Speaker 2: This should be a challenge coming on Saturday.
- 40:48Speaker 6: Yeah, well, look, we'll see because the Eagles have been
- 40:50Speaker 6: generating some pretty good pressure.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Now you have to look at it by not blitz it,
- 40:53Speaker 5: yes and not that.
- 40:54Speaker 7: That was where I was going with that.
- 40:55Speaker 6: They've been able to facilitate a lot of pressure without
- 40:58Speaker 6: having to send a lot of pressure, and that that's
- 41:01Speaker 6: how fick Fanjo likes to ideally run it, at least
- 41:03Speaker 6: here in Philadelphia. But I'm curious to see the interior
- 41:06Speaker 6: matchup because you mentioned cos me H Biadas is a
- 41:09Speaker 6: player who we've seen play for a while and Moro
- 41:12Speaker 6: Jomo picked up his fifth sack of the season.
- 41:14Speaker 7: He's been playing some really good football.
- 41:17Speaker 6: I think that this is a matchup that favors, you know,
- 41:19Speaker 6: his quickness and power from the interior.
- 41:21Speaker 3: So if you're I've got the injury report for you
- 41:22Speaker 3: so to talk about it, but you guys don't have
- 41:26Speaker 3: it yet, but I do. That's why the insider.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Yeah, uh, if you are, you are the you are
- 41:31Speaker 4: the general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles. And you look
- 41:33Speaker 4: and you go, Okay, my defensive line, my interior Jalen
- 41:37Speaker 4: Carter is going to be going into year three next year,
- 41:39Speaker 4: Jordan Davis goes into what year four?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Next year? Yep, five and five.
- 41:43Speaker 4: They picked up the fifth year and more Ojomo will
- 41:46Speaker 4: be year four four, Okay, and that's on a four
- 41:49Speaker 4: year contract. How are you handling those contracts those players
- 41:53Speaker 4: moving forward?
- 41:54Speaker 3: Not easy?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Not easy?
- 41:56Speaker 3: And can you keep all three?
- 41:58Speaker 2: And you got the n Kobe Dean situation, which is
- 42:00Speaker 2: I am, Dave, I am. I've seen a lot in
- 42:02Speaker 2: this this market with players coming back from not just
- 42:05Speaker 2: one injury, multiple major injuries twenty three lists fronc injury
- 42:09Speaker 2: and then the torn but Taeler ten and twenty four
- 42:12Speaker 2: to be playing at this he's playing elite football, he is.
- 42:15Speaker 5: I've not said anything like this before.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Your first round draft pick last year is sjah Hot Campbell.
- 42:18Speaker 4: But you know by the way he was playing, well yeah,
- 42:22Speaker 4: I mean you can't. And then you got Cooper Egene
- 42:24Speaker 4: who's in his second year. You're gonna have to look
- 42:25Speaker 4: at that at some point.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Yep.
- 42:26Speaker 4: You've got Q of course, I think I think reed
- 42:30Speaker 4: Blanket Ship's contract is up after this year.
- 42:33Speaker 5: He changed agents.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Yep.
- 42:34Speaker 6: Yeah, So the problem to have, yeah, that pendulum swinging
- 42:37Speaker 6: as you're outlining it, because eventually you're gonna have to
- 42:39Speaker 6: start paying some of these defensive guys.
- 42:41Speaker 7: You're gonna have to start paying.
- 42:42Speaker 6: It's happening right now, and you're gonna have to start
- 42:44Speaker 6: drafting offensive players.
- 42:46Speaker 3: I'm trying to have Christmas segment. All right, we got
- 42:48Speaker 3: too sorry. Let me give you a little bit of
- 42:49Speaker 3: the injury report. It was a walk through today.
- 42:52Speaker 4: Barkley did not practice with a stinger, of course. Carter
- 42:56Speaker 4: and Lane did not practice foot our shoulders and foot respect.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Dickerson did not practice CAF injury. Same one, Fred Johnson
- 43:05Speaker 4: ankle injury, same thing. Cam Latsu a singer.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 4: So we'll seek Bigsby limited with an illness and then
- 43:13Speaker 4: bond full, Phillips full, Cameron Williams FA.
- 43:16Speaker 5: Okay, so the ones with so Jalen Hursts not on
- 43:18Speaker 5: the injury list, okay? Good with the left and would
- 43:22Speaker 5: you say Lane worked at all?
- 43:23Speaker 3: They did not?
- 43:23Speaker 5: We're not all right, sure, week that's not good for
- 43:25Speaker 5: him to play?
- 43:26Speaker 3: All right? Well? Good stand no need to rush Lane Johnson. Sure,
- 43:31Speaker 3: win the game and then figure out what you want
- 43:34Speaker 3: to do. Is it ridiculous to think, well, let's win
- 43:36Speaker 3: the game first.

- 45:31Speaker 3: We used to back twenty years ago, but that's not
- 45:34Speaker 3: our thing anymore.
- 45:34Speaker 5: How'd you get there bother it?
- 45:35Speaker 3: From them? So?
- 45:36Speaker 4: I started with the Eagles. I just came out of
- 45:39Speaker 4: college and all I wanted to do was be the
- 45:41Speaker 4: next Merle Reese.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Really, you want to be a play by play guy?
- 45:44Speaker 3: I did.
- 45:45Speaker 4: I did play by play at college. I did basketball
- 45:47Speaker 4: play by playing college and I loved it. And then
- 45:49Speaker 4: I started sports writing for my hometown newspaper, the Westchester
- 45:52Speaker 4: Daily Local News. Shout out to them, and then we
- 45:55Speaker 4: started a publication called Eagles Digest Before You Were Born.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I was the origin.
- 46:04Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a It was a.
- 46:04Speaker 4: Publishing company in Miami, and they had the Steelers, the Dolphins,
- 46:08Speaker 4: and the Saints and.
- 46:08Speaker 3: The Eagles, and then the Eagles.
- 46:10Speaker 4: In nineteen ninety seven, while we were still housed at
- 46:14Speaker 4: the VET, gained permission to build the Novacare Complex and
- 46:17Speaker 4: link of financial Field.
- 46:18Speaker 3: You got all the funds.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Our brilliant sports marketing Vice president Lynn Kamarowski, a genius
- 46:23Speaker 4: in the business who later went on to become the
- 46:25Speaker 4: president of the Cleveland Cavaliers, created an in house media
- 46:29Speaker 4: team and I joined the Eagles organization to help run
- 46:33Speaker 4: the media team. And our purpose was to create inventory,
- 46:37Speaker 4: build an audience, and sell the inventory. And it was
- 46:40Speaker 4: that was through television shows and print and then especially
- 46:44Speaker 4: the the Internet, which had great success doing that. And
- 46:48Speaker 4: then that's just kind of mushroomed from there and gone
- 46:51Speaker 4: in a bunch of different directions.
- 46:52Speaker 5: You guys were the innovators.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Let me tell you Joe Banner and whoever's there then
- 46:56Speaker 2: and Gordon after Joe, I worked for you for a
- 46:59Speaker 2: few years, and I tell you that Eagles Live Show.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Andrew he this live program that he would have that
- 47:05Speaker 2: people would call on from, like line.
- 47:06Speaker 4: I had a guy at the game the other at
- 47:09Speaker 4: a game game on Sunday come up to me and say, Hey, Dave,
- 47:12Speaker 4: I used to be the one who would call the
- 47:13Speaker 4: show from. I was on in tour, on tour in
- 47:18Speaker 4: active duty in Afghanistan, and I was like, Holy Moly.
- 47:21Speaker 4: And that happens to me all the time, especially when
- 47:23Speaker 4: we go out to LA. You know, the LA game,
- 47:25Speaker 4: there were tons of Eagles fans and so many of
- 47:27Speaker 4: them are transplanted Eagles fans, and you really get a
- 47:30Speaker 4: sense of like how many Eagles fans there are around
- 47:32Speaker 4: the world. And my job has always been to connect
- 47:34Speaker 4: the organization's message with the fan base through all sorts
- 47:38Speaker 4: of media, you know, live events. I've done both of
- 47:40Speaker 4: the Super Bowls and you know anything that and we
- 47:43Speaker 4: have so many different corporate events and fan events, and
- 47:47Speaker 4: they give me a chance to kind of format all
- 47:50Speaker 4: the all the events and host them and and carry
- 47:53Speaker 4: forth the message of the Philadelphia Eagles. And you know,
- 47:55Speaker 4: fortunately we've been we've had great success. Like I was talking,
- 47:58Speaker 4: you know, I was a friend of mine with the Cardinals.
- 48:00Speaker 3: I was on the phone with him on the way.
- 48:01Speaker 4: Up, and you know, they're going through a miserable season.
- 48:04Speaker 4: And you know, Jeffrey Lourie, since he's been here, i
- 48:06Speaker 4: mean thirty one years, it's going to be twenty playoff appearances.
- 48:09Speaker 4: I mean, this has been a tremendous, tremendous run of success.
- 48:13Speaker 5: That's his secret, sauce.
- 48:15Speaker 4: So I'll give you a story. So we win the
- 48:16Speaker 4: Super Bowls, you know, and then we have the ring
- 48:18Speaker 4: ceremony in July, And it was a July.
- 48:21Speaker 3: It was July.
- 48:21Speaker 4: It was just before the training camp started, and we
- 48:25Speaker 4: have this big party and it's every employee and there's
- 48:28Speaker 4: two hundred and seventy employees of the Philadelphia Eagles who
- 48:30Speaker 4: are not players, and so everybody's there. Everybody looks great.
- 48:35Speaker 4: Everybody's having a wonderful time. And Jeffrey stands up when
- 48:38Speaker 4: it's time to present the rings and he thanks every
- 48:41Speaker 4: single person, not named by name, but you know, make
- 48:43Speaker 4: sure to mention that every single person in the organization.
- 48:47Speaker 4: The reason we won the Super Bowl is because everybody
- 48:49Speaker 4: in this organization contributed to it. And then when it
- 48:53Speaker 4: was time to get the rings, everyone, not just Saquon
- 48:57Speaker 4: and Nick and Jalen, everyone got their rings at the
- 49:00Speaker 4: same time. And you don't understand how much that means
- 49:03Speaker 4: to everybody that they feel so valued. It doesn't happen
- 49:08Speaker 4: in business, it doesn't happen in sports. It's it is
- 49:11Speaker 4: Jeffrey Lorie's leadership. He sets the standard.
- 49:14Speaker 3: And again when you play a team like the Raiders
- 49:17Speaker 3: where they did not give a darn.
- 49:19Speaker 4: On Sunday, I can't even imagine not caring if you
- 49:24Speaker 4: win Philadelphia the standard. If I could say that they
- 49:28Speaker 4: don't care, they don't care. And so Jeffrey just makes
- 49:33Speaker 4: everybody feel good about themselves. He has very high expectations.
- 49:36Speaker 4: If you do not perform, you will not be there
- 49:39Speaker 4: for long. But he's very fair. He encourages everyone to
- 49:43Speaker 4: push the envelope and you feel like your voice is
- 49:46Speaker 4: heard and so I and and so, and he throws
- 49:49Speaker 4: a lot of resources at coaching analytics.
- 49:53Speaker 3: The field.
- 49:54Speaker 4: When you look at all these grass fields around the league,
- 49:56Speaker 4: they're all torn up. I mean today the Eagles. He
- 50:00Speaker 4: soded around the around the logo in the middle of
- 50:03Speaker 4: the field today, understanding that there's not a game for
- 50:05Speaker 4: three weeks, and you can put a solar cover on
- 50:08Speaker 4: it and the heating coils underneath. You can grow grass
- 50:10Speaker 4: and the field for that last game of the regular
- 50:12Speaker 4: season and hopefully the postseason will be in phenomenal shape.
- 50:16Speaker 4: And when you look and you see Tampa Bay's fields
- 50:18Speaker 4: all ripped up, in Chicago's field's always ripped up, in
- 50:21Speaker 4: Pittsburgh's fields always ripped up, and et cetera, et cetera.
- 50:25Speaker 4: Every little detail matters to Jeffrey and and that's why
- 50:29Speaker 4: we win. And I will say this also, the fans
- 50:32Speaker 4: make a huge difference. And when the fans are tough
- 50:35Speaker 4: on the Eagles, everybody takes note of it.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Everybody appreciates it. It means that you care. Last year
- 50:42Speaker 3: we had three home playoff games. It was great.
- 50:45Speaker 4: There was a great home field advantage, just like a
- 50:47Speaker 4: twenty seventeen and you win as a village.
- 50:50Speaker 3: And and that's why I believe we win.
- 50:54Speaker 4: That's why I believe the Field of Eagles are such
- 50:56Speaker 4: a class, class, class organization.
- 50:58Speaker 3: And he on two things here, Adam. He hit on
- 51:02Speaker 3: head coaching.
- 51:03Speaker 4: Every coach he's hired, right, Andrew has made the playoffs
- 51:06Speaker 4: and this amazing. And the line of succession at quarterback
- 51:09Speaker 4: has been strong. The line of succession at left tackle
- 51:13Speaker 4: has been really strong. The philosophy is to build the
- 51:16Speaker 4: offensive line and the defensive lines. And and that's why
- 51:20Speaker 4: you have sustains. And I'll give you one more.
- 51:22Speaker 2: You got to give Jeffrey credit for sticking by Howie.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Think about that, all the struggles he made, he instead
- 51:28Speaker 2: of firing me, resign him Andrew.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Most owners would have fired Howie. And you got to
- 51:32Speaker 5: give Jeffrey credit.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Why after when, after what happened with after No, I'm
- 51:37Speaker 2: going well, now I'm going back to fourteen, after the
- 51:40Speaker 2: after Chips start falling out, and what happened with Chip?
- 51:44Speaker 2: And then the year that how he got reassigned. Some said,
- 51:47Speaker 2: you know what, it's not good. I don't need this
- 51:49Speaker 2: guy here. He stuck by him. You give how he credit.
- 51:51Speaker 2: His resiliency is remarkable his energy and passion. You talk
- 51:56Speaker 2: to anyone who's ever dealt with him from another clubs
- 52:00Speaker 2: unless when he wants something, he don't stop.
- 52:02Speaker 4: And he clearly has some really good relationships because he
- 52:05Speaker 4: gets deals done.
- 52:05Speaker 5: He does, he does. He's great.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Agents.
- 52:08Speaker 2: You'll say this about agents, will tell you Andrew, you know,
- 52:10Speaker 2: deal with a lot of agents like I do. When
- 52:12Speaker 2: he wants something done, a deal done, It's gonna get done.
- 52:16Speaker 2: He's just very aggressive. Why is he the number one
- 52:18Speaker 2: GM in the National Football League Because he knows how
- 52:20Speaker 2: to roster build As we move forward here, Dave, that's
- 52:22Speaker 2: what makes him great.
- 52:23Speaker 5: He just gets it.
- 52:24Speaker 2: And it's started by Jeffrey understanding how do you win
- 52:28Speaker 2: offensive defensive lines. I remember talking to Joe Douglas about
- 52:31Speaker 2: it was but they all got it. Okay, they all
- 52:33Speaker 2: got it. Jeffrey knew you got to throw the score.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Now it's different. Yeah, run to win, but a little different.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Now that's okay, you got to change up. But I
- 52:42Speaker 2: just you mentioned earlier in the show, Dave, is that
- 52:46Speaker 2: it all works together. You have to figure it out
- 52:48Speaker 2: and communicate. Okay, how are you going to win? We're
- 52:51Speaker 2: gonna build on the lines Nick's gotta communicate. He's got
- 52:53Speaker 2: a high a good staff with how his assistance, and
- 52:56Speaker 2: then Jeffrey's got it. Okay, you mentioned the resources that
- 52:59Speaker 2: he gives him. This is why they went Andrew, how
- 53:02Speaker 2: you grew up here too, not just a reporter, but you.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Grew up here.
- 53:05Speaker 3: You've seen it all.
- 53:07Speaker 6: Yeah, and kind of hearing what the way that Da've
- 53:10Speaker 6: just outlined, that really puts everything into perspective because I'm
- 53:12Speaker 6: always really able to speak on the years that I
- 53:14Speaker 6: was covering the team, and you could see the the
- 53:17Speaker 6: investment that he puts in the team, and uh, just
- 53:20Speaker 6: the the resources and support. And you look at Howie
- 53:24Speaker 6: Roseman leaving no stone on turn. Being resilient and aggressive
- 53:27Speaker 6: if it means bettering the football team, I mean that matters,
- 53:32Speaker 6: and that resonates with with every player who comes through
- 53:34Speaker 6: that locker room.
- 53:35Speaker 7: They're they're well aware of it.
- 53:36Speaker 6: And then hiring coaches who have the emotional intelligence, right,
- 53:40Speaker 6: I mean, that's that's what.
- 53:41Speaker 5: Jeff brought up before, right, Buzzworth.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Yeah, uh huh.
- 53:44Speaker 6: I just think that they've really done a nice job
- 53:46Speaker 6: collectively of establishing the culture there that.
- 53:49Speaker 7: That makes it a place everybody wants to be. I
- 53:51Speaker 7: mean you hear that from players culture.
- 53:53Speaker 5: What does that mean to you, Dave?
- 53:55Speaker 4: It means that you know, here's again I've never worked
- 53:57Speaker 4: anywhere else, but the I give you an example again
- 54:02Speaker 4: speaking about the Raiders. So the Raiders people come in,
- 54:04Speaker 4: we have breakfast, and we do a little tour of
- 54:06Speaker 4: the building. And these are people who are running their
- 54:10Speaker 4: alumni program. And so Marcus Epps walks by former former
- 54:15Speaker 4: Raider Marcus Epps. Do you guys know each other?
- 54:18Speaker 3: Right?
- 54:18Speaker 4: And he goes, well, not in that building, because in
- 54:21Speaker 4: that building in Vegas, the team does not interact with
- 54:27Speaker 4: the rest of the organization. With the Eagles, our building
- 54:31Speaker 4: is relatively small by NFL standards. Everybody kind of co mingles.
- 54:36Speaker 4: We all eat in the same cafeteria. Our paths cross.
- 54:39Speaker 4: They learn who to trust, and they will learn who's
- 54:43Speaker 4: part of the team. So if they want to get,
- 54:45Speaker 4: for example, tickets to a Sixers game, they know who
- 54:47Speaker 4: to go to. If they want to get extra tickets, whatever,
- 54:50Speaker 4: they know where to go. And it builds a community.
- 54:53Speaker 4: It builds a team, not a football side and a
- 54:57Speaker 4: business side. And when and it was really when Chip
- 55:00Speaker 4: Kelly came in, Chip divided the building, and you cannot
- 55:04Speaker 4: you cannot have success if you are not all in
- 55:08Speaker 4: it together. Hence, you can't be great without the greatest
- 55:11Speaker 4: of others. We all we got, we all we need?
- 55:13Speaker 4: These are these are slogan? Yeah these are slow? Well
- 55:18Speaker 4: last year last year was last year? Was we all
- 55:22Speaker 4: we got? Last year was you can't be great without
- 55:24Speaker 4: the greatest of others because everywhere, and it's not just
- 55:27Speaker 4: the players, coaches, it's everyone in the organization feels if
- 55:32Speaker 4: they have a little tiny part, if they do their job,
- 55:37Speaker 4: sometimes you're not gonna like it. You're There was a
- 55:40Speaker 4: during that Super Bowl ring ceremony they played a clip
- 55:43Speaker 4: a video, great video, and during it there's a spot
- 55:46Speaker 4: of Nick saying, everybody's here for a reason.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Everybody here has a role. You may not like the role,
- 55:53Speaker 3: but you're here for a role.
- 55:54Speaker 4: And there have been times in my job when I'm going, man, this,
- 55:57Speaker 4: I'm not down with what they want me to do
- 55:59Speaker 4: right now, and I've oh, well yeah really and and
- 56:04Speaker 4: but you but you have to come to grips.
- 56:06Speaker 3: With it, and and and if you don't life, man,
- 56:08Speaker 3: if you don't want.
- 56:09Speaker 4: To come to grips with it, and I think a
- 56:10Speaker 4: lot of people all go through that, A lot of
- 56:11Speaker 4: people and I think a lot of people turn in
- 56:13Speaker 4: head the other way. With the Eagles have been able
- 56:16Speaker 4: to make sure that the people who are there are
- 56:19Speaker 4: there for the team first and for their individual success second.
- 56:23Speaker 3: And that and certainly, look, Jeffrey kick no. Here's another
- 56:27Speaker 3: thing that he does with the way they structure contracts
- 56:29Speaker 3: and the way they kick things down the road. A
- 56:31Speaker 3: lot of teams don't do that. And here we go.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Let's see the washing, all right, special thanks to check
- 56:40Speaker 2: We will be at Chicken Peter Malton next week. It'll
- 56:43Speaker 2: be Jeff Mosher and enteror Checko. Thank you for listening.
- 56:46Speaker 2: We'll speak to you soon.
