- 0:19Speaker 3: Not outside?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Oh, inside your house?

- 1:26Speaker 2: then there's a cono there as always good.
- 1:29Speaker 3: And just it's Manatee Appreciation Day, So Neil, I appreciate you.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Because Neil looks like a manatee. That's correct. Oh also, Jeff, well, no,
- 1:42Speaker 5: that's a fun story I have to share with you
- 1:44Speaker 5: at some point, but it takes too long. But Will
- 1:47Speaker 5: Cole Schreiber also looks like a manatee. Thank you so much.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Hey.
- 1:51Speaker 6: By the way, I want it noted, Cono Drew first blood.
- 1:55Speaker 6: It's gonna be ugly today, Cono. Okay, you little Futi
- 1:59Speaker 6: piece of crap.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Ex excellent, Will, good morning, good morning Italian restaurant. Last night,
- 2:04Speaker 5: black and white stripes and it actually has to be
- 2:06Speaker 5: red and white, checks and blue and white. Yeah, okay,
- 2:10Speaker 5: so I take that back, Amy, good morning, Hi Bill, Hey,
- 2:14Speaker 5: and got a lot of emails by the way, about
- 2:17Speaker 5: you're really going to Disneyland? You bet, I'm going so
- 2:20Speaker 5: and we should go together. You those are the two
- 2:23Speaker 5: days we should go and enjoy ourselves because I want
- 2:26Speaker 5: to enjoy you enjoying me. In line going on for
- 2:32Speaker 5: the wide. I haven't been on that auto ride. Last
- 2:35Speaker 5: time I went.
- 2:35Speaker 4: That auto ride you mean cars?
- 2:38Speaker 6: Yeah, we had that auto the Utopia, the Autopia, the
- 2:42Speaker 6: original one.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Is it still there?
- 2:45Speaker 5: It is? Yes? Wow, I didn't know that, Bob, And
- 2:49Speaker 5: give you an idea of the last with you to
- 2:51Speaker 5: give me idea. The last time I went, Uh, the
- 2:54Speaker 5: newest ride that just opened up was Indiana Jones.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Yeah, and I was so impressed. And then of course
- 3:04Speaker 5: these spectacular eyes that have opened up since. Uh, I'm
- 3:08Speaker 5: actually looking forward to it. Okay, I do, actually I
- 3:13Speaker 5: do like rides.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 3: The Rise of the Resistance is going to blow your
- 3:16Speaker 3: freaking mind.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 2: No, I you know, no, I like rides Galaxy.
- 3:21Speaker 5: You know, I've always I have always, uh, for example,
- 3:25Speaker 5: wanted to go into space, uh to uh feel what
- 3:30Speaker 5: weightlessness looks like. But you can do that on a
- 3:32Speaker 5: very fast elevator and not spend hundreds of millions of
- 3:36Speaker 5: dollars going up.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Well, you can kind of do it on Guardians of
- 3:38Speaker 4: the Galaxy. It's a drop ride. It's really fun.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Oh okay, yeah, those drop ridses are kind of neat. Okay,
- 3:43Speaker 5: uh and uh, I will I said goodbye? Oh Cono, Hey, Cono,
- 3:47Speaker 5: real quickly? Are you going broke again with gasoline coming in?
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's a it's a good it's a struggle.
- 3:54Speaker 2: We're back to a struggle. We tried to tried to
- 3:58Speaker 2: unstruggle you.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Uh.
- 4:00Speaker 2: We succeeded for thirty seconds.
- 4:01Speaker 5: And now gasoline is so expensive, we're back to a struggle.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Yeah, even where I live, which is always cheaper than LA,
- 4:08Speaker 6: but it's up there.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, because the gas station's over there in the
- 4:13Speaker 5: Inland Empire, all subsidized by the meth labs that are
- 4:17Speaker 5: right next door, same owners, so we at a cheaper price.
- 4:20Speaker 5: They have to bring in customers, right, And I don't
- 4:23Speaker 5: know where Anne is.
- 4:24Speaker 2: By the way, I have no strike.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Yeah that is. We'll talk about that today on strike. Also,
- 4:32Speaker 5: I want to there's going to be I'm going to
- 4:36Speaker 5: make an announcement today about this station, and it is
- 4:40Speaker 5: a big, big announcement and it is going to be
- 4:44Speaker 5: based on what's going on Monday. It will not be
- 4:50Speaker 5: the Bill Handle Show anymore. It will be far See
- 4:53Speaker 5: Folks Songs with a mirror, and I will explain why
- 4:57Speaker 5: the station is going from from talk to far Sea
- 5:01Speaker 5: Folks songs.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Hmm, okay, day the day you have a mental breakdown.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I no, no, I'll explain. I'll explain. Just had a
- 5:12Speaker 5: conversation with a mire and it was it was good.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It was good.
- 5:17Speaker 5: All right, let's uh, I everybody's looking at me no,
- 5:21Speaker 5: there's a method to this madness. I'm letting you know
- 5:23Speaker 5: there is no there is no, there is there absolutely is,
- 5:27Speaker 5: and you will appreciate exactly what I'm saying. You're gonna go,
- 5:31Speaker 5: oh yeah, understand completely. All right, there's time for that,
- 5:36Speaker 5: time for handling the news with Amy Neil and me
- 5:40Speaker 5: lead story. Well, it turns out that the President was
- 5:48Speaker 5: sort of kind of right when he said negotiations are
- 5:50Speaker 5: going on between Iran and the United States. Very preminentary prominent, priminarily,
- 5:56Speaker 5: very preliminary.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that too.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Putting just a toe into the water, and those are
- 6:04Speaker 5: the toes that have been blown off, So people grab
- 6:07Speaker 5: a tow that's been laying on the sidewalk and then
- 6:09Speaker 5: just put the toe in the water. The President is
- 6:13Speaker 5: proposing a fifteen point ceasefire plan, of which Iran is
- 6:17Speaker 5: going to admit to absolutely none of it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Will not agree.
- 6:23Speaker 5: One of them the nuclear program, maybe maybe because they
- 6:26Speaker 5: can be secret about that. But the other one is
- 6:30Speaker 5: that ballistic missile program be eliminated, the drone program be eliminated,
- 6:37Speaker 5: the state sponsor of terrorists all over the world be eliminated.
- 6:43Speaker 2: And Iran.
- 6:44Speaker 5: The reason Iran says outright the reason we pay for
- 6:48Speaker 5: these freedom fighters around the world is for our security.
- 6:51Speaker 5: So this thing is not going to go very far,
- 6:53Speaker 5: but at least there's a start. And of course, part
- 6:57Speaker 5: of the fifteen point plan is going to be open
- 7:00Speaker 5: up the Strait of Hormus, and zero point thirteen is
- 7:04Speaker 5: to rename Iran the country of Trump. That may be
- 7:08Speaker 5: a little problem. Yeah, it's going to be Saudi Trump.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I mean the whole area will be middle It'll be
- 7:15Speaker 5: the middle of Trump.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Is this just on the east, like Bill, isn't he
- 7:19Speaker 6: just building a case? Are you just doing this and
- 7:23Speaker 6: they're gonna say note everything. He's gonna say, hey, I tried. Maybe, yeah, maybe,
- 7:27Speaker 6: But it's then just bombs away.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Yeah. At this point, I think the demand is pretty
- 7:32Speaker 5: outrageous relative to what Iran is willing to do. While
- 7:35Speaker 5: this is going on, the attacks are still going on
- 7:38Speaker 5: like crazy, and federal true, and US troops are being
- 7:41Speaker 5: spent sent there as a matter of fact. That's our
- 7:43Speaker 5: next story, Amy, Yeah, help is on the way right Well, theoretically, thousands.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Of soldiers are headed to the Middle East, including about
- 7:55Speaker 4: a thousand soldiers from the Army's Elite eighty second Airborne Division.
- 8:01Speaker 4: We know that there are marines on the way, and
- 8:06Speaker 4: Trump is still saying no boots on the ground, but
- 8:08Speaker 4: that could change.
- 8:09Speaker 5: And that's on top of the marines of twenty five
- 8:13Speaker 5: hundred marines, so he's loading up and that's on top
- 8:16Speaker 5: of I believe war warships are going into the Persian
- 8:20Speaker 5: Gulf and the Arabian Sea. So while we're sort of
- 8:25Speaker 5: hinting and talking about peace, it's actually expanding. The war
- 8:29Speaker 5: is actually expanding. I'll talk about that by the way,
- 8:33Speaker 5: coming up at seven already.
- 8:35Speaker 6: So we've heard about these speed cameras. They've done them
- 8:39Speaker 6: with the red light cameras and all that. Now LA
- 8:41Speaker 6: is looking at putting in at least one hundred and
- 8:44Speaker 6: twenty five cameras to start. These are going to be
- 8:48Speaker 6: installed by city workers starting between starting in April and
- 8:51Speaker 6: going between April and July. This is kind of a
- 8:55Speaker 6: sixty day public information campaign that will start on cas
- 9:00Speaker 6: are in to see how people like it.
- 9:02Speaker 3: They're gonna hate it, probably, but.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Everybody's going to get a ticket.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's it's gonna be like the red lights.
- 9:09Speaker 5: I can to the red light red light tickets that
- 9:13Speaker 5: when you blow through an intersection.
- 9:15Speaker 6: This is state law authorized LA to do this, So
- 9:18Speaker 6: it's not anything new. The fact is our streets are
- 9:23Speaker 6: horrible and dangerous, InCred What is if you look.
- 9:27Speaker 5: At the speed, how it has increased over the last
- 9:31Speaker 5: few years. Normal speed on the freeway is now seventy
- 9:34Speaker 5: five miles an hour.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Oh? Absolutely?
- 9:37Speaker 4: But are these going in on on freeways? Are these
- 9:39Speaker 4: going on city streets?
- 9:41Speaker 6: I think it's I would imagine the streets, but who knows.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Because city streets are so stupid congested you can't.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Speed, well, you can at certain points late at night.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Well, these are a lot.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Of these, are you know, in various areas or whatever
- 9:57Speaker 6: they're going to put these in. But they're saying that
- 9:59Speaker 6: it's cars are the leading cause of death in children
- 10:02Speaker 6: in Los Angeles.
- 10:03Speaker 3: That's we got some issues there.
- 10:05Speaker 4: And the fines are going to be fifty to five
- 10:08Speaker 4: hundred dollars depending on how fast you're going. And they're
- 10:10Speaker 4: going to start ticketing people probably in the fall, because
- 10:14Speaker 4: like Neil mentioned, they're going to have that public awareness
- 10:18Speaker 4: kind of a introduction where you're going to get warnings.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Yeah, they're pretty good about giving warnings like the HOA lane,
- 10:25Speaker 5: the Diamond lane. They give us plenty of time to say, hey,
- 10:29Speaker 5: effective this date, where you're no longer going to be
- 10:32Speaker 5: able to hit the diamond lane if you have an
- 10:34Speaker 5: EV that doesn't give you a license to do that, Okay.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Going to pack them in near train and bus stations.
- 10:42Speaker 4: The LA City Council is voted to adopt a strategy
- 10:46Speaker 4: to up zone fifty five single family and load density
- 10:51Speaker 4: areas of Los Angeles, mostly in Central La, West LA,
- 10:56Speaker 4: the east side in San Fernando Valley. Those low density
- 10:59Speaker 4: and single fan areas will be converted now and allowed
- 11:03Speaker 4: to allow for four to sixteen unit buildings that are
- 11:07Speaker 4: up to four stories tall.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Ye.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Yeah, and you can live up to half a mile
- 11:14Speaker 5: away and you're still going to have four story buildings
- 11:19Speaker 5: up to what the quarter mile is going to be
- 11:21Speaker 5: eight stories? Can you imagine living next story buy a
- 11:25Speaker 5: single family home? Yes, and all of a sudden, look, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 5: it's crazy.
- 11:31Speaker 6: There's no controls down these beautiful craftsmen homes and putting
- 11:36Speaker 6: up these cracker box eight unit apartment.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's because you're a homeowner.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Think about that, and there are people that need housing,
- 11:44Speaker 5: need apartments.
- 11:46Speaker 6: Okay, handle, let's say now the government comes after you
- 11:49Speaker 6: and says how many rooms do you actually need in
- 11:52Speaker 6: your house? And now you have to rent out rooms.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Because that was I mean, I think that's a stretch,
- 11:58Speaker 5: although I think the zoning will allow that. This is
- 12:01Speaker 5: the part that really is uncomfortable. Drug rehab centers can
- 12:06Speaker 5: go in residential areas. I think newdest colonies can go
- 12:10Speaker 5: into residential areas if I'm not mistaken.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Gee, daddy, what's that? Why it's a gearshift knob? Honey
- 12:18Speaker 2: it's so small?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Well, because that's handle's house.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Peepeepepepepepp.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, you make a joke out of everything, don't you?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Only you, sir, and your manhood ish.
- 12:33Speaker 5: In any case, homeowners are not very happy. Certainly people
- 12:37Speaker 5: who don't have housing are very happy. I asked the
- 12:41Speaker 5: question of what the government lines up with who? And
- 12:44Speaker 5: we know it's for.
- 12:46Speaker 6: More dense housing, less density in city hall.
- 12:51Speaker 3: How about that? So Minnesota is suing Trump. We all know.
- 12:56Speaker 6: About the very very publicized deaths of Alex Pretti and
- 13:03Speaker 6: Renee Good, and apparently they were told the folks of
- 13:09Speaker 6: the city so that they were going to get federal
- 13:12Speaker 6: government transparency, promised that they would cooperate with any investigation
- 13:16Speaker 6: they say that is not happening with their independent investigation
- 13:22Speaker 6: of these killings with federal officers.
- 13:28Speaker 5: I will see how far that goes. You know, what
- 13:31Speaker 5: will the court say? And then that's that may go
- 13:34Speaker 5: to the Supreme Court.
- 13:35Speaker 2: And the Supreme Court is.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Going to rule at federal agencies. There's immunity here, qualified immunity,
- 13:42Speaker 5: and the Minnesota officials were simply following the official policy
- 13:47Speaker 5: of the US government and no lawsuit.
- 13:50Speaker 2: We'll see. I think the lower court is.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Going to give it to Minnesota, and then it's going
- 13:55Speaker 5: to go the other way.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I am convinced of that.
- 14:00Speaker 4: No more special treatment. Delta Airline says it is stopping
- 14:06Speaker 4: its preferential service for congress members due to the impact
- 14:12Speaker 4: on resources from the long standing government shutdown. Delta will
- 14:15Speaker 4: temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress, things like
- 14:20Speaker 4: airport escorts and skipping TSA lines no more.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Hey, do you think that's one of the reasons why
- 14:28Speaker 5: you can't bring a weapon to a TSA checkpoint because
- 14:32Speaker 5: they're afraid you are going to shoot a congressman who's
- 14:36Speaker 5: cutting in line.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Today with the four hour lines at Houston's.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Aircar right, Yeah, And I heard of the six hour lines,
- 14:43Speaker 5: although there's no line at LAX, virtually none.
- 14:46Speaker 4: LAX hasn't had the problems at other airports.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Right, you've got Houston Jackson Hartfield if that's the name
- 14:52Speaker 5: of the airport that's the biggest one in the country.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I think you had JFK had some problems, but the
- 15:00Speaker 5: the country.
- 15:01Speaker 6: No, no, oh, what happened to the good old days
- 15:04Speaker 6: of alligators in the sewers? Now there's this growing concern
- 15:09Speaker 6: here in beautiful Los Angeles with the homeless living in
- 15:14Speaker 6: storm drains near the one ten Freeway.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I wouldn't even want to.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Live in a house near the one ten Freeway personally,
- 15:22Speaker 6: but you've got residents there that are frustrated. They're really
- 15:26Speaker 6: concerned with the conditions. It's horrible, tiny little space, filled
- 15:30Speaker 6: with trash, no running water, completely unsanitary. Yet Bill Handle
- 15:38Speaker 6: still lives in a gated community. Well, how many rooms
- 15:41Speaker 6: you got?
- 15:42Speaker 2: Oh?
- 15:42Speaker 5: My god, carry the one, carry the one, fifteen, eighteen,
- 15:47Speaker 5: twenty two, fifteen forty four, can't amount? Come on, give
- 15:55Speaker 5: me a break, but I'm stop into my house. Come on, No,
- 15:59Speaker 5: you have downside? I get it.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you like?
- 16:02Speaker 3: Six thousand square feet?
- 16:04Speaker 2: Now? No, how about half of that, okay, but thank
- 16:07Speaker 2: you very much.
- 16:07Speaker 3: No.
- 16:08Speaker 2: By the way, there's the story about this woman too,
- 16:11Speaker 2: And this is.
- 16:12Speaker 5: A LA time story that there is a guy by
- 16:16Speaker 5: named one now who found it something called clean la
- 16:20Speaker 5: with me and he documented the followed one woman who
- 16:26Speaker 5: took up residence inside of a sewer right next to
- 16:29Speaker 5: the one ten and she was late going to the
- 16:32Speaker 5: hospital to perform surgery and so it was hard to
- 16:37Speaker 5: take a shower. See, that is a homeless joke that
- 16:40Speaker 5: is so expensive.
- 16:41Speaker 6: That is one is an angel and should be protected
- 16:46Speaker 6: at all costs. He is actually putting his money where
- 16:49Speaker 6: his mouth is and vice vers doing things in this
- 16:52Speaker 6: city that others are not.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Trump's pollings tanking. President trumps approved rating has fallen to
- 17:00Speaker 4: its lowest level since he got back into the White House.
- 17:04Speaker 4: The pollsters are saying that respondents are saying there's rising
- 17:09Speaker 4: gas prices and food prices, and people don't like the
- 17:12Speaker 4: war in Iran. So thirty six percent of Americans approve
- 17:16Speaker 4: of Trump's job performance according to this new poll. That's
- 17:20Speaker 4: down four percent from a poll conducted just last week.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going down.
- 17:25Speaker 5: And if gas prices go I just saw an expert
- 17:31Speaker 5: financial expert say that if oil hits one hundred and
- 17:35Speaker 5: fifty dollars a barrel, see how long this war lasts.
- 17:40Speaker 5: We're on a full blown recession. Is Trump is falling
- 17:44Speaker 5: apart in the ratings, in the approval ratings.
- 17:47Speaker 6: But they say they're almost so low now they're lower
- 17:50Speaker 6: than Millennia's opinion of Trump.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Very funny. That actually is not bad.
- 17:56Speaker 5: But the point is is that the Republicans, he's still
- 18:00Speaker 5: very very strong with the Republican Party. It's obviously the
- 18:04Speaker 5: Democrats that's the issue. But the independence of the middle ten.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It's got him elected.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yep. And now he's going to whoop.
- 18:11Speaker 5: And here's why he's going against every single major well
- 18:15Speaker 5: every single one except one. Lower prices, right, inflation is
- 18:20Speaker 5: going to be on the move, certainly a lower gas prices.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I'm going to stay out of any foreign intervention.
- 18:27Speaker 5: My god, he's involved in wars and intervening all over
- 18:30Speaker 5: the place now, even immigration, which he has done a
- 18:37Speaker 5: good job in terms of stopping it, but the way
- 18:39Speaker 5: he's stopping it, people are very unhappy with this. So
- 18:41Speaker 5: he's taken a strength of his and moving it into
- 18:44Speaker 5: a liability. Right now, if the election were to hell
- 18:47Speaker 5: of the midterms, the Republicans would get slaughtered. And to
- 18:51Speaker 5: give you an idea, there was a state seat in
- 18:54Speaker 5: the district in which mar al Lago is in. Just
- 18:57Speaker 5: flip Democratic and that does not bode well. Every single
- 19:02Speaker 5: election has got has flipped. If there was a flip.
- 19:07Speaker 5: The Republicans weren't able to flip one seat this last
- 19:12Speaker 5: series of elections, and the Democrats flipped all of those
- 19:16Speaker 5: that were flipped.
- 19:20Speaker 3: All right, toe licking?
- 19:23Speaker 6: Was there a politician or somebody that was a toe licker? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 6: I think you interviewed him. I think I was accused
- 19:31Speaker 6: of that. And you know what it's you know, let's
- 19:34Speaker 6: look at it. It's not you have to there's two coin.
- 19:36Speaker 6: There's two sides of this coin. Okay, no, no, no, no.
- 19:40Speaker 3: No one side to that coin. This one especially.
- 19:44Speaker 6: You have this California man twenty eight years old from Modesto,
- 19:48Speaker 6: Christian Celario. He was sentenced to six years and eight
- 19:53Speaker 6: months in prison for the crime of breaking into a
- 19:56Speaker 6: woman's home. Man, this is horrifying and sucking and nibbling
- 20:00Speaker 6: on her toes. God bless her for her her clarity
- 20:05Speaker 6: of mine. She wakes up and she, even though it
- 20:10Speaker 6: was terrified, she found the wherewithal to have a friendly
- 20:13Speaker 6: demeanor and de.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Escalate the situation.
- 20:16Speaker 6: This is a guy that would follow her around, found
- 20:20Speaker 6: out where she worked, then found out where she lived,
- 20:22Speaker 6: waited for her dad to be gone, and yeah, right,
- 20:27Speaker 6: it's just a story. But I think she was strong
- 20:30Speaker 6: enough in that moment.
- 20:32Speaker 2: She was very calm. Good for her.
- 20:34Speaker 5: And then my question, my question is, isn't there a
- 20:37Speaker 5: vast difference between biting toes.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And merely nibbling a toes?
- 20:44Speaker 5: See, I think nibbling is okay, gentle nibble is just
- 20:50Speaker 5: biting in the story, I know, but and you said nibbling,
- 20:53Speaker 5: So I think biting is just a real problem.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Nibbling not so much.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I wanted to take a poor thing. That is horrible.
- 21:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's worth it for the joke, isn't It's
- 21:05Speaker 5: a small price to pay.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Let's move on.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Anaheim wants its angels back.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Now.
- 21:11Speaker 4: The angels have been the Los Angeles Angels for years.
- 21:15Speaker 4: But I just watched a thing on TikTok. I have
- 21:17Speaker 4: to share this with you where the guy goes, how
- 21:20Speaker 4: stupid was that? So it's like naming because Los Angeles
- 21:24Speaker 4: means the Angels. So it's like saying the the angel Angels.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Anaheim Angels, the Los Angeles.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Or the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Anyway, got it?
- 21:37Speaker 4: So, Anaheim is now trying to take two different routes
- 21:42Speaker 4: to get their hometown back in the team name. So
- 21:45Speaker 4: assembly Woman Avelina Valencia, whose district includes Angels Stadium, has
- 21:49Speaker 4: introduced state legislation dubbed the Home Run for Anaheim Act
- 21:54Speaker 4: that would require any sale or new lease of the
- 21:57Speaker 4: stadium property be conditioned upon the team reverting to the
- 22:01Speaker 4: Anaheim Angels and then Anaheim Mayor Ashley Aidken has also
- 22:06Speaker 4: asked the city attorney to explore whether the Angels have
- 22:08Speaker 4: violated their current leaves by dropping the Anaheim name from
- 22:12Speaker 4: legal documents.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Why'd they change it?
- 22:15Speaker 4: Because they wanted to have broader appeal because everybody knows
- 22:17Speaker 4: Los Angeles.
- 22:18Speaker 3: On your mic, Hello, turn on your mic candle.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Oh, I was going for a joke.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Oh and you looked you looked like you were very,
- 22:31Speaker 6: very animated, But we didn't hear anything.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Now, yeah, I was, I was. In any case, aren't
- 22:37Speaker 5: they trying to figure out how to put the Trump
- 22:39Speaker 5: name somewhere in the Angels Moniker. Okay, I had to
- 22:43Speaker 5: say that.
- 22:44Speaker 3: That's what we were waiting for.
- 22:45Speaker 2: That's what I was waiting for.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Huh.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Moving on all right, Because California can't do anything right,
- 22:55Speaker 6: New Mexico is now leap fraud us when it comes
- 22:59Speaker 6: to social media's harm lawsuit.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Of course, we've got our own going on.
- 23:03Speaker 6: In California through the molasses that is the California system.
- 23:09Speaker 6: But they're in New Mexico. They're handing down a three
- 23:12Speaker 6: hundred and seventy five million dollars verdict against Meta or
- 23:17Speaker 6: meta if you're handled for endangering children. Now, the similar
- 23:21Speaker 6: lawsuit going on here in Los Angeles County.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Is go.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Slowly because everything is an unfilled pothole in Los Angeles.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Yeah, this lawsuit three hundred and seventy five million dollars
- 23:38Speaker 5: is nothing for Mayda. You know, it's a drop in
- 23:41Speaker 5: the blacket, and there's going to be an appeal, and
- 23:43Speaker 5: there's a very good chance that the judge is going
- 23:45Speaker 5: to make that way lower under a remitter, which where
- 23:50Speaker 5: the defendant says this is way too much money for
- 23:53Speaker 5: a single person, and it probably is. The problem is
- 23:57Speaker 5: that this may be a bell Weather case because there
- 24:01Speaker 5: are thousands of these coming down the pike, and if
- 24:05Speaker 5: a jury is going to give this kind of money
- 24:09Speaker 5: to the plaintiffs, now, Amanda has to be sweating bullets
- 24:15Speaker 5: if this is just the beginning of these awards.
- 24:21Speaker 2: So we will see.
- 24:24Speaker 4: To the moon Alice. NASA has announced long range plans
- 24:30Speaker 4: to spend twenty billion dollars over the next seven years
- 24:32Speaker 4: to build a base on the Moon near the lunar
- 24:36Speaker 4: South Pole. It'll have habitats pressurized rovers nuclear power systems.
- 24:42Speaker 4: This announcement came just over a week before the planned
- 24:45Speaker 4: launch of the Artemis two mission, which will just go
- 24:50Speaker 4: up and around the Moon and back.
- 24:51Speaker 2: It's not going to land, So we're going to see
- 24:54Speaker 2: that habitat on the moon.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's going to be a stopover on the way
- 24:58Speaker 4: to Mars.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Yeah, then are they gonna be able to come back?
- 25:02Speaker 5: You know, if there was a one way trip, you
- 25:05Speaker 5: go to Mars and you never come back, how many
- 25:08Speaker 5: people you think would line up to do that? And
- 25:10Speaker 5: I'm willing to back thousands and thousands.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Of people would do that because people are crazy.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Also, no, yeah, maybe it's better than Italy.
- 25:23Speaker 5: Ooh oh, come on, you just may have Mars pizza
- 25:28Speaker 5: and it's really delicious, exactly, it's very light.
- 25:32Speaker 6: God, how come I'm get and why am I getting
- 25:35Speaker 6: all the weird sex stories? There's a man from Tolan.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I need to this.
- 25:43Speaker 6: A man was arrested for kidnapping. This is horrible to
- 25:46Speaker 6: UCLA students. I don't know that I remember this story
- 25:50Speaker 6: as well as separate sex assaults back in twenty twenty five.
- 25:55Speaker 6: So detective said this Alexander Scheckter was supposed to d
- 26:01Speaker 6: drop off to UCLA students on March eighth. Instead, he
- 26:05Speaker 6: prevented them from getting out of the car and continue
- 26:08Speaker 6: to drive half a mile further down. And he's been
- 26:14Speaker 6: identified twenty four year old guy.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Was he.
- 26:19Speaker 3: A third party car driver type?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Who Knowsn't? I have a question to Amy. I mean,
- 26:24Speaker 2: there are dozens of rapes.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Why did this one get attention versus the other half
- 26:29Speaker 5: dozen rapes that happened in southern California yesterday?
- 26:33Speaker 2: I'm always wondering.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Possibly because it had to do with UCLA students. It's
- 26:36Speaker 4: and it's interesting too because he apparently got them in
- 26:41Speaker 4: the car and wouldn't let him out, but then eventually
- 26:44Speaker 4: let him out. So the circumstances are a little bit.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Different, and they tied him to another previously unsolved rape.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I think as well. Yep, but all right.
- 26:54Speaker 5: But to me, unfortunately, he doesn't seem like a big
- 26:57Speaker 5: story because there's so.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Many of these.
- 26:59Speaker 6: I know, the UC I think, I agree the UCLA.
- 27:03Speaker 6: But the college students, I think, is.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Okay, we can do one more amy, Okay, do.
- 27:08Speaker 4: As I say, not as I do. President Trump voted
- 27:13Speaker 4: in the March twenty fourth special election in Palm Beach, Florida.
- 27:17Speaker 4: He cast his ballot by mail. In recent days he's
- 27:22Speaker 4: been ramping up a tax on mail in voting, calling
- 27:24Speaker 4: it away for Democrats to try to steal elections, and
- 27:27Speaker 4: he's fighting aggressively to get you know, people to stop
- 27:31Speaker 4: accepting mail in ballots.
- 27:33Speaker 2: And didn't the Democrat win that district?
- 27:36Speaker 5: It flipped that district went from a Republican to a Democrat,
- 27:41Speaker 5: I believe.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Because this was a state case. I'm not mistaken.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Is to put an assembly person up on in what
- 27:52Speaker 5: is the capital, Fort Lauderdale or Miami was the capital
- 27:56Speaker 5: of Florida, I don't even I don't even know.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:02Speaker 4: No, it's isn't it Tallahassee. Yeah, it's Tallahassee.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Wally. Oh, I never I guess that.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:09Speaker 2: So anyway back to the original story.
- 28:12Speaker 5: Where this is not bode voting well, I mean when
- 28:16Speaker 5: you lose your own district and your president.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Eh.
- 28:20Speaker 5: And then of course the issue of we don't like
- 28:23Speaker 5: mail in ballots. I hate mail in ballots. They're horrible.
- 28:26Speaker 5: By the way, I'm going to vote via mail in ballot. Okay,
- 28:32Speaker 5: we're done.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Guys.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Coming up, the US is sending Iran a fifteen point
- 28:37Speaker 5: ceasefire plan, and Iran is doing this with open arms,
- 28:41Speaker 5: right if it had arms after the bombing.
- 28:45Speaker 2: We'll be back. This is KFI AM sixty. You've been
- 28:49Speaker 2: listening to the Bill Handle Show.
