- 0:08Speaker 1: Sable Advice Shogar, Nicella Loallo. Welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:18Speaker 1: Nic Show host Shooter. It's Tuesday, which only means one
- 0:21Speaker 1: thing a round here, it means a dear friend, Delana Dixon,
- 0:24Speaker 1: Miss de joints us, Mr. Are you there? I am,
- 0:28Speaker 1: and I'm coming to you from Lovely Georgia. Lovely Georgia.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Are you with your mom? What? What brings you to Georgia? Mr? Yes,
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm with my mom and my family. It just came
- 0:38Speaker 1: down for a couple of days. We're going to drive
- 0:40Speaker 1: back to New York. So it's gonna be a little
- 0:43Speaker 1: ladies road trip. I want to say Thelma and Louise,
- 0:46Speaker 1: but I really don't. That did not end well. I'm
- 0:48Speaker 1: sure with this so much nicer, Hey said my love
- 0:51Speaker 1: to your mom and let's jump into the show. What
- 0:52Speaker 1: time is it, my friends? It is so? Jay Z
- 0:56Speaker 1: Andbiance could make history at this year's Oscar. So Over
- 1:00Speaker 1: the course of three decades j and Beyonce, they've won
- 1:03Speaker 1: dozens of Grammy Awards, they've sold out stadiums, and they've
- 1:07Speaker 1: earned the billy Ian dollars. But now the two moguls
- 1:11Speaker 1: might be going head to head in the world of film,
- 1:15Speaker 1: where they could be competing for an Oscar. Neither one
- 1:19Speaker 1: of them have an oscar. Jay is credited for two
- 1:22Speaker 1: songs on the soundtrack of the highly anticipated new film
- 1:26Speaker 1: The Harder They Fall. Meanwhile, his wife Beyonce is the
- 1:31Speaker 1: voice behind be Alive from the upcoming Will Smith film
- 1:37Speaker 1: King Richard. So all three songs could be considered for
- 1:42Speaker 1: the Best Original Song category of the twenty twenty two
- 1:46Speaker 1: Academy Awards. Oh what do you think, miss d Are
- 1:50Speaker 1: these two gonna win an Oscar? They both can't. One
- 1:54Speaker 1: of them is gonna win an Oscar? Maybe? What do
- 1:56Speaker 1: you think? Maybe? Well, first of all, I just have
- 1:59Speaker 1: to say beyond saying jay Z are always diversifying their profiles.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Jay z songs are part of a Western that features
- 2:07Speaker 1: a large black cast, and Beyonce's song is about Serena
- 2:13Speaker 1: and Venus's father, King Richard. So they're always trying something new. Now,
- 2:19Speaker 1: let's put it this way. I think they're gonna get
- 2:21Speaker 1: nominated because we know if the two of them perform
- 2:25Speaker 1: at the Oscars, that's a win. That's all you need.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Beyonce on the Oscar stage singing Hello. So I think
- 2:34Speaker 1: this is just great, and it just shows how talented
- 2:37Speaker 1: and just how well known they are super superstars. Do
- 2:42Speaker 1: you think this jealousy amongst them? I mean, I'm so
- 2:45Speaker 1: far that they've sort of merged their careers together. They've
- 2:48Speaker 1: gone on two together, they they've sung together, but they
- 2:50Speaker 1: both have their own distinctive brands. They're gonna be up
- 2:54Speaker 1: against each other in this, in this massive competition, the Oscars.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It doesn't get any bigger than that. Do of think
- 3:00Speaker 1: this competition? Whoever wins the Oscar it will be in
- 3:05Speaker 1: the same house. Now, the question is which side of
- 3:08Speaker 1: the house will it be. I it's tricky because some
- 3:12Speaker 1: celebrity couples, we know who the most popular is. I'm
- 3:17Speaker 1: not going to name them, but we all know who
- 3:19Speaker 1: the most popular is. Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Brodrick, we know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: we know, we know. But with Jabiance, they're pretty much
- 3:26Speaker 1: an equal match. Now. I know some people are going
- 3:29Speaker 1: to prefer him than her. I'm personally a huge fan
- 3:32Speaker 1: of hers. I think he's great, but I would pick
- 3:35Speaker 1: Beyonce every day. But he has an extraordinary fan base too,
- 3:40Speaker 1: So they're really even matched, which makes this even more exciting.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It brings us to our pole question of the day.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Jay Z and Beyonce couldn't make history this year's Oscars
- 3:51Speaker 1: were they both could be nominated, He could be nominated twice.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Who deserves the award the most? Now? I know we
- 3:59Speaker 1: don't know the song, so it's a really silly question.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm basically asking who do you want to give the
- 4:04Speaker 1: award to? Because you like them? Are you gonna pick
- 4:06Speaker 1: Beyonce or are you gonna pick j Go vote on
- 4:09Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice. We're all by Facebook pages
- 4:12Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment there and be
- 4:14Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear the results. Miss
- 4:18Speaker 1: de Love, what are you working on that? Well? You
- 4:20Speaker 1: probably know that Judge Judy ended her show after twenty
- 4:24Speaker 1: five years, but she ain't done because she's actually starting
- 4:28Speaker 1: a new show called Judy Justice on IMDb, which is
- 4:32Speaker 1: owned by Amazon. She's not taking someone with her, and
- 4:36Speaker 1: it's her former law clerk, and that is Petrie hard Bird,
- 4:40Speaker 1: who served as her bailiff since Judge Judy premiered in
- 4:45Speaker 1: and he was revealing that he was not asked to
- 4:48Speaker 1: be a part of the show. So he says, my
- 4:51Speaker 1: assumption is if you were going to do something else
- 4:54Speaker 1: that you were at least going to ask me if
- 4:57Speaker 1: I wanted to have the opportunity to audition for the role.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So he found out about her new show just like
- 5:04Speaker 1: everybody else did in the press. But she did inform
- 5:07Speaker 1: me that fundamentally I was priced out as the new
- 5:10Speaker 1: bailiff on her new show. My salary would have been
- 5:14Speaker 1: too much. I was curious, how would she know. She
- 5:18Speaker 1: didn't ask me what my salary was. She didn't even
- 5:22Speaker 1: give me an opportunity to accept a lower salary. So
- 5:26Speaker 1: of course, a spokesman came out for Judge Judy and said,
- 5:29Speaker 1: but it is terrific and we had a great twenty
- 5:31Speaker 1: five year run. This is a whole new program, with
- 5:35Speaker 1: a whole new cast and exciting energy. What do you
- 5:39Speaker 1: think about that? This one's really difficult for me after
- 5:42Speaker 1: twenty five years. I get it. I would be loyal.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I certainly think Judy owed him a phone call to
- 5:49Speaker 1: at least tell him he's not coming with her. But
- 5:51Speaker 1: he's also had the best job in television for twenty
- 5:54Speaker 1: five years. Like, I don't want to look at the
- 5:56Speaker 1: downside here. She gave him the number one show for
- 6:00Speaker 1: twenty five years, let's face it, we were not watching
- 6:02Speaker 1: the show for him. We were watching it for her.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So she doesn't really owe him a job. But I
- 6:07Speaker 1: think after twenty five years, I think you've got hopefully
- 6:10Speaker 1: a friendship, You've certainly got a relationship. I would have
- 6:13Speaker 1: called him up and said it was been wonderful, I've
- 6:15Speaker 1: really enjoyed it. But I'm moving in a new direction,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and I think he would have taken it quite graciously.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Friends don't owe other friends jobs, they just don't, but
- 6:22Speaker 1: they do owe each other a conversation. So that's what
- 6:26Speaker 1: disappoints me. He well, actually, I'm going to give you
- 6:28Speaker 1: guys a little gossip right now, little little secrets from
- 6:32Speaker 1: my source. So sources are telling me that actually she
- 6:35Speaker 1: has hired her granddaughter to join the show and take
- 6:39Speaker 1: on kind of that law clerk Baila for Raws. So well,
- 6:43Speaker 1: i'll find out on November one when the show premiers
- 6:45Speaker 1: on IMDb. Family Like, if she wants to give the
- 6:48Speaker 1: job to somebody in her family, that's who's going to
- 6:51Speaker 1: get it. Instead of being angry, though, I think he
- 6:54Speaker 1: should just really celebrate for twenty five years, he got
- 6:57Speaker 1: a really good paycheck and a really secure her job. Hey,
- 7:00Speaker 1: moving along please? In the UK are no longer investigating
- 7:04Speaker 1: Prince Andrew after the sex assault claims popped back up,
- 7:08Speaker 1: So the Metropolitan Police put out a statement and they
- 7:11Speaker 1: said they're not taking any further action into the sex
- 7:14Speaker 1: abuse claims against Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. In August,
- 7:20Speaker 1: Virginia Juffre, a one of Jeffrey Epstein's longtime accusers, sued
- 7:26Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, claiming that he sexually assaulted her when she
- 7:29Speaker 1: was under age at the London home of Delane Maxwell.
- 7:35Speaker 1: The Prince has been relieved of his duties and he
- 7:38Speaker 1: has denied this. Now the Metropolitan Police in London have
- 7:42Speaker 1: dropped the investigation, so they're saying in a statement that
- 7:46Speaker 1: the department looked into the claims and they determined that
- 7:50Speaker 1: the probe would be largely focused outside the UK. A
- 7:55Speaker 1: lawyer for Jeffrey told The Sunday Times, given the clear
- 7:59Speaker 1: and impelling evidence implicating Prince Andrew, the Metropolitan Police should
- 8:04Speaker 1: reopen its investigation and stand by their statement that no
- 8:09Speaker 1: one is above the Lord. It does feel here, Misda
- 8:13Speaker 1: as if a prince got special treatment. I'm kind of angry.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It's already hard enough for women who have been victims
- 8:21Speaker 1: of sexual assault to come forward and tell their story,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and then just to have the police drop it, especially
- 8:27Speaker 1: when it's someone so high profile. It's really disheartening. And
- 8:31Speaker 1: I definitely think that the case should be sought through,
- 8:35Speaker 1: or I definitely think that they should see the case through.
- 8:38Speaker 1: They're saying that they did, but it just seems like
- 8:40Speaker 1: there's so much glaring evidence. Rob you probably know more
- 8:43Speaker 1: about this because you're from the UK. Why is this happening?
- 8:47Speaker 1: I don't know. People are outraged by this. The police
- 8:50Speaker 1: owe us an explanation, this statement that they're going to
- 8:54Speaker 1: let it focus outside the UK, meaning basically they're going
- 8:57Speaker 1: to let the American authorities prosecute the But the problem
- 9:01Speaker 1: is is that she claims he took place in a
- 9:03Speaker 1: home in London. Yes, she also claims that she was
- 9:08Speaker 1: abused in America, but there is a photograph of her,
- 9:11Speaker 1: Prince Andrew and Gilline Maxwell in Gillane's house in London.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't understand it. I'd been hitting the phones in
- 9:19Speaker 1: the moment I do. You will be the first to
- 9:22Speaker 1: know what's happening with Dancing with the Stars. Well, you
- 9:27Speaker 1: remember the former host Tom Bergeron, Well, he is. So
- 9:30Speaker 1: he's getting real about how he's feeling after departing the
- 9:33Speaker 1: show about a year ago. So from what it sounds like,
- 9:38Speaker 1: in some ways, the writing was on the wall for him.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So he says, in all candor, the show that I
- 9:44Speaker 1: left was not the show that I loved. Now, let
- 9:48Speaker 1: me explain, he says, So the end of the season
- 9:51Speaker 1: that turned out to be my last season, that was
- 9:53Speaker 1: back in two thousand nineteen, I kind of knew what
- 9:57Speaker 1: was going on, so I took everything out of my
- 10:01Speaker 1: dressing room that I really wanted. Can I tell you
- 10:03Speaker 1: I've done that at a job. It was kind of
- 10:05Speaker 1: obvious that we were kind of butting heads. And the
- 10:08Speaker 1: reason why this was happening is because he was upset
- 10:11Speaker 1: that the show had cast former President Trump's Press Secretary
- 10:17Speaker 1: Sean Spicer. At that time. When the cast was announced
- 10:21Speaker 1: back in summer twenty and nineteen, Tom berger On he
- 10:23Speaker 1: released a statement that he did not want anyone from
- 10:27Speaker 1: any political affiliation on the show. He just didn't want
- 10:32Speaker 1: that to be a part of the show. He wanted
- 10:33Speaker 1: it to be late and fine. And of course he
- 10:36Speaker 1: was like, oh, what do you think I think Tom's right? Here.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think once that show got political, I don't know,
- 10:41Speaker 1: it's more difficult to watch. I think for both sides here,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I wanted to escape this nasty world to politics. We
- 10:47Speaker 1: we deal with that on this podcast. We very very
- 10:50Speaker 1: rarely have ever do politics. It's not that type of
- 10:52Speaker 1: show or a celebrity silly gossip show. And once we
- 10:55Speaker 1: start trying to get deep and heavier, it doesn't work.
- 10:59Speaker 1: There are other play is to go if you want
- 11:01Speaker 1: to talk politics, not here, not Dancing with the Stars.
- 11:04Speaker 1: I think it was a mistake. I understand why they
- 11:07Speaker 1: did it. I understand the press, Sean Spicer guards and
- 11:10Speaker 1: it did work for the first episode. Everybody tuned in,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but then nobody came back. And I think in the
- 11:16Speaker 1: long run, Tom's going to be proven absolutely right because
- 11:20Speaker 1: their numbers for Dancing with the Stars with Tyra are
- 11:23Speaker 1: at an all time low, down thirty percent. That's an
- 11:28Speaker 1: enormous amount, down thirty percent. So I think, here, Tom,
- 11:33Speaker 1: you are right, and quickly before we get a break,
- 11:35Speaker 1: Hallmark has released a shocking statement about Laurie Laughlin. Basically,
- 11:40Speaker 1: she's not returning to When Calls the Heart. So in
- 11:43Speaker 1: September there were reports that she was heading back to
- 11:46Speaker 1: TV in the show that she'd been on for years
- 11:50Speaker 1: after Hallmard cut ties with her for her involvement in
- 11:54Speaker 1: the college admission scandal Hallmark and now saying no, that's
- 11:58Speaker 1: not true. Quote horn Mark Channel has not cast Laurie
- 12:02Speaker 1: Laughlin in any current projects, including When Calls the Heart,
- 12:07Speaker 1: nor do we have any plans to cast her in
- 12:11Speaker 1: the future. Hallmark do not want to be in bed.
- 12:15Speaker 1: They do not want to have anything to do with
- 12:18Speaker 1: Laurie Laughlin. I think this is going to be a trend, mister.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I think it's going to be more difficult for her
- 12:25Speaker 1: to return to work than she thinks that a lot
- 12:28Speaker 1: of other people. What do you think you know TV
- 12:30Speaker 1: really well, mister, Yeah, this is definitely not a part
- 12:33Speaker 1: of the Hallmark brand. You know, they're they're very wholesome.
- 12:36Speaker 1: They want movies that are family friendly, and right now,
- 12:39Speaker 1: she's just not that person. Now. I disagree with you
- 12:43Speaker 1: slightly about her not being cast in anything. There might
- 12:46Speaker 1: be some place, maybe a TV dance show possibly that
- 12:52Speaker 1: loves controversy and wants to set it up, and so
- 12:55Speaker 1: she might get cast on something like that, but finding
- 12:58Speaker 1: legitimate work and TV networks that are trying to keep
- 13:02Speaker 1: a certain high standard, and of course they don't want
- 13:06Speaker 1: to even deal with any type of product boycotts. They're
- 13:09Speaker 1: not going to touch her. It's really tricky this one,
- 13:11Speaker 1: isn't it. You're right, she's gonna end up on Dancing
- 13:13Speaker 1: with the Starts. Hey, We're gonna take a quick break
- 13:15Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome by to the
- 13:20Speaker 1: Naughty but I Show. I'm rob shoot them with my
- 13:22Speaker 1: dear friend. Mister. Hey, misty, let's get to the polls.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Do so. Yesterday we talked about Kim Kardashian getting offers
- 13:29Speaker 1: to go on the comedy circuit. Yes, comedy clubs want
- 13:33Speaker 1: to book him after that really remarkable performance on s
- 13:36Speaker 1: n L. Would you go and watch Kim in a
- 13:40Speaker 1: comedy club? Let's have our look. Eight N said, no,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you don't want to see him doing comedy. I normally
- 13:47Speaker 1: always agree with the majority. I don't today. I would
- 13:52Speaker 1: love to go and see him do standard. What about you,
- 13:56Speaker 1: miss do you? I think what Kim did on SNL
- 13:59Speaker 1: was fair, tastic and fabulous, and I think that's the
- 14:02Speaker 1: extent of her comedy skill set, and so I think
- 14:06Speaker 1: we should just leave it there. Look, if she takes
- 14:08Speaker 1: skims on the road and does it tour. The place
- 14:10Speaker 1: will be packed. I'll be first in line. Give me
- 14:13Speaker 1: all the colors, all the colors, girl. But I think
- 14:16Speaker 1: for comedy, you know, she'll need a teleprompter. She doesn't
- 14:21Speaker 1: have a lot of rain. Even though she was really good,
- 14:24Speaker 1: range is a little limited, so I think she'll stick
- 14:26Speaker 1: to the lawyering. I don't forget to vote on today's pool.
- 14:32Speaker 1: We're gonna at Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robber, or
- 14:35Speaker 1: a Facebook page where she's Naughty Gossip. You can leave
- 14:37Speaker 1: a comment there and be sure to check back tomorrow
- 14:40Speaker 1: to hear your results. And now it's time for the day. Well,
- 14:49Speaker 1: our nicest of the day is Timothy Salome. I love
- 14:53Speaker 1: it rhymes. So he is revealing the secrets to his
- 14:57Speaker 1: success and he says one of my heroes I can't
- 15:00Speaker 1: say who, or he'd kick my you know what. He
- 15:04Speaker 1: put his arm around me the first night we met
- 15:06Speaker 1: and gave me some advice. He said, no hard drugs
- 15:11Speaker 1: and no superhero movies. So if you if you think
- 15:16Speaker 1: about it, we've never seen Timothy in a superhero film.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And he said it's a combination of luck and getting
- 15:23Speaker 1: good advice early in my career not to pigeonhole myself.
- 15:27Speaker 1: And he doesn't want to be called a movie star either.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It makes some cringe, he says, I'm an actor. Oh
- 15:35Speaker 1: it's kind of nice, but it's a little naughty too, right,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I do like it. What's the best advice you've ever had?
- 15:41Speaker 1: Career advice? Misdy? What somebody told you? Oh? Well, I
- 15:45Speaker 1: would say that it comes from the Ford word. Answer
- 15:48Speaker 1: and just say yes, even when you're afraid say yes.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I think that's good advice. Say yes and niciest of
- 15:57Speaker 1: the day, and that I naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Paul McCartney is saying that John Lennon is responsible for
- 16:05Speaker 1: breaking up the Beatles, so Paul is saying that it
- 16:08Speaker 1: was actually John that instigated the split. He went on
- 16:13Speaker 1: to say, quote, this was my band, this was my job,
- 16:16Speaker 1: this was my life. I wanted it to continue. The
- 16:20Speaker 1: point of it is, really Johnna was making a new
- 16:22Speaker 1: life with Yoko on No, his wife, and that's why
- 16:26Speaker 1: the band ended. However, John sources and I push him back,
- 16:30Speaker 1: saying that's not exactly true. John and Paul had an
- 16:34Speaker 1: unwritten agreement that neither one of them would own more
- 16:37Speaker 1: shares in their music publishing company than the other. Unbeknownst
- 16:42Speaker 1: to John, Paul had been buying up shares secretly, and
- 16:47Speaker 1: when he found out that Paul had been buying shares
- 16:51Speaker 1: in their music publishing company behind his bag, John went berserk.
- 16:57Speaker 1: So you know, if you're going to tell these story
- 17:00Speaker 1: is tell the whole story at this point, Paul your
- 17:03Speaker 1: seventy nine, you're a beat or you're a billionaire. We
- 17:07Speaker 1: don't mind, we don't mind. But John's not around to
- 17:11Speaker 1: defend himself. So tell the whole story. Here. There's always
- 17:15Speaker 1: two or maybe three sides to a story, and naughtius
- 17:19Speaker 1: of the day. And now it's time for a moment
- 17:22Speaker 1: of rob. You getta rob, You're gonna rob, You get
- 17:24Speaker 1: a rob. Sponsored by my new book The foreword answer,
- 17:28Speaker 1: Thank you so much to everybody that's purchased a copy,
- 17:31Speaker 1: and if you haven't yet, you can do so on
- 17:33Speaker 1: Amazon dot com. So the book is fuller, absolutely packed
- 17:38Speaker 1: of celebrity quotes. And this quote really spoke to me today.
- 17:42Speaker 1: It's from Sting, he said. The following quote, the acceptance
- 17:46Speaker 1: of death gives you more of a stake in life.
- 17:50Speaker 1: A living life happily as it should be lived, living
- 17:55Speaker 1: for the moment, Live for the moment. Everybody. We don't
- 17:58Speaker 1: know how many we have. It's not going to go
- 18:01Speaker 1: on forever. I know we think it might, particularly when
- 18:04Speaker 1: we're young. We never ever think that it's coming to
- 18:07Speaker 1: an end. But that's one thing I can guarantee. It's
- 18:08Speaker 1: going to happen to all of us. All of us,
- 18:12Speaker 1: so remember that. Don't focus on it too much. But
- 18:15Speaker 1: remember this is not going to happen forever. So live
- 18:19Speaker 1: in the moment. What do you think, Oh that is
- 18:23Speaker 1: so deep. Well, they say you should live each day
- 18:27Speaker 1: as if it could be your last. And sometimes when
- 18:30Speaker 1: you get older, sometimes you think I've missed out. I
- 18:33Speaker 1: should have done it when I was younger, And I
- 18:34Speaker 1: want to encourage people. Don't let that stop you from
- 18:37Speaker 1: living your dreams because you don't know when it's going
- 18:40Speaker 1: to end. So start today, Start now, whatever dreams you have,
- 18:46Speaker 1: take a little step and put them into motion. Then
- 18:49Speaker 1: that's it for today. Thank you so much for listening
