- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Man, it's gonna be like one of those days you're gonna get real spoiled.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: You're gonna feel like, wow, this is great.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: It's up to like 80 degrees.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: It is a downward slide from here, my friends.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Now we're not immediately going downward, but by the weekend, you're gonna be going, whoa, how's that cold?
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: It's definitely gonna be chilly for our trunk or treat on Saturday.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna pussyfoot around this.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: So when you come on Saturday, 11 to 1 at Wise, just make sure that your kids are bundled up.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: But so much free candy.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Thanks to Wise for giving us all the free candy.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: And then we have a couple other people that are gonna be there with amazing trunks.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I know I'm doing a dolly trunk, of course.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Why not?
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I have all the dolly decorations left over.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: I'm absolutely gonna do a dolly trunk.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Um, there's gonna be a Christmas trunk, there's a spooky animatronics trunk.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's cool.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Yes, one of our co-workers, his um house really does it up, but I don't know if you know this or not.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: They don't do it till Halloween day because they are afraid of all their animatronics getting stolen.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: So, yeah.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: So he was like, Um, you can borrow my Halloween decorations.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: That's actually great.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: It works out really great for us.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna be out there at Wise on Saturday starting at 11.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Nice, very good.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Now let's go back to some of the text messages for two things that are happening.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: One of them was my stupid irrational fear of going on a slide after I went to a pumpkin patch over the weekend.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I'm not getting on that slide with that little flimsy burlap sack and that plastic that's like blah blah blah la.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Like that it's basically gonna just it's like three humps on the way down.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Three humps on the way down.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: It's made of taffy practically, where it's it's just gonna fly me off and I'm gonna be rolling down some other hill.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: I'm not doing it.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: And then the other thing we were talking about is Scott going to Maple Lawn Dairy for the first time for breakfast.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: I don't know how in 21 years of living here I just got there.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: It took me a while to get there too.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: It's only been within the past five years that I started going there.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: But once you go, Oh, you'll go back.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Yes, and somebody even said, What was the restaurant again?
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Maple something.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Maple Lawn Dairy is what it's called.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And by the way, the affordability of that place, oh my God.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, because if you go to, let's just say, a place that might be like uh a crack and a barrel uh together, they're good, but it gets pricier.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Uh I haven't even been there in such a long time.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: It's honestly been well, every time I went, my grandparents always paid.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: So I really don't know the price.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: I I will tell you that with the amount of food that we got, it was definitely cheaper and way more food.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, and it's like wow.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: And it's homemade.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: So 0042 nails it, their banana bread French toast is the bomb.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: I couldn't believe how good that was.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: It's homemade banana bread that they turn into French toast and the cinnamon one, and uh just anything you try.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Anything you try is gonna be amazing.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: That's really good.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Um, did anyone else uh comment on that?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Also, thanks to Chris.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Good everyone.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Made it back from our two-night Metallica experience at the sphere at midnight last night.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow, that's a late arrival.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: They said, What did you did?
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: I can't hear you.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're still deaf.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, that means you arrived right as the Bills game ended last night.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, that was somebody else had texted earlier.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: They said, What game was crazy last night?
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: That would have been the Bills game, which they did win, but oh, that wasn't overtime on a Monday night football game coming out.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: 37 to 34 right now.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think that's what it was.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Am I right on that?
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: And then um, about back to the slide thing, really quick.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Somebody even said, Amazing, we live through childhood between metal at the playground, garden hoses, homemade ramps for our bikes.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Because and speaking of, in Cortland, I forgot about this.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Emily brought this up.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: In Cortland, they got sued for the metal slide slicing a kid's finger off a few years ago.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I seem to remember that.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And they said it caused a whole catastrophe.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Um, here's a wait, hold on a second.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Let me see if there's any other ones.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Um okay, I think I think I hit all of those.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: There's something else from my childhood that I do miss though, besides a good metal slide.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Do you remember being with just you and a girlfriend, or you and two girlfriends, and then I know not your girlfriends, but your guy friends.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: And you would be having a little conversation between you two, like, oh my gosh, little Tommy is so cute.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: And then another person would come up and you'd be like, and they would be trying to talk to you, and you would say, This is an A B conversation.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: So see your way out.
- 4:22unknown: Like God.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's definitely something that's being said.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: You know where else I could see that being said is somebody trying to be cute in an office situation where they're, you know, like you, you're referencing how that was when you were a kid.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Now I could see somebody trying to be cutesy in the office and doing it, and I would be like, that is the rudest comment you've ever made.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, you can't.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: Maybe it was rude that I stepped in on your conversation, but the fact that you A took the time to point out that you don't want me in the conversation and decided to try to be cute about it, uh, screw off.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: I think that is the best way to say you weren't invited into this conversation.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's rude.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Just say that.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Do I say so?
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: As a kid, I go, we don't want to talk to me.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: No, no, no.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: As a kid, you're you're gonna come, you know, that's like mind your own beeswax or uh I love a mind your own beeswax.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, mind your own beeswax is one of my favorites.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Such a kid expression.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: But if somebody did that today, that'd be completely rude.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine?
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Just just simply go, you know, uh we've got to have this dis we're having this discussion uh about something that we need to figure out.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: This has happened between this has happened between um you and Wendy.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: You're both in management.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: We're having a conversation, and then I'm not in management, so I make no executive decisions in this building.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And so I walked- She makes it look like she does, though.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Don't worry.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: So I walk up and you, you know, you both are like, oh, this is a private conversation.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: We're trying to figure some things out here.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: We'll get back to you.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Right, exactly.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: If I would be sitting with Wendy, and we're going and all of a sudden I go, This is an A-B conversation, fee your way out.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: You can't do it as a.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: No, you cannot do that.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: It is horribly rude.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: But for you to say, we have we're having a private conversation.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: This is something, you know, that you that is not for your ears right now.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Okay, that's too much, too.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I I think it just like if it's between two managers, simple enough.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: We're trying to figure something out here.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get back to you in a couple minutes.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I start getting into the words private and everything else.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Now I'm complexing you.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, I already have a complex anyway, thinking I'm getting fired.
