- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome back to episode thirty nine of Inside the Bus.
- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm Jack McPherson. With me is JP Hovey, Cooper Comstock,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Mitchell Carsley and the One, the Only, the sub Bend
- 0:13Speaker 1: Derek White, and give a round of applause.
- 0:14Speaker 2: People, thank you for being here.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We'll address it soon, but our podcast studio is on
- 0:22Speaker 1: the second floor of our building. Derek has sustained an
- 0:24Speaker 1: injury recently that will dive into later, but.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Just real respect for you to climbing up those stairs
- 0:30Speaker 2: on crutches, so that goes a long way with this community.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So before we get going, we're gonna address possibly the
- 0:37Speaker 1: elephant in the room to some of our real hardoes
- 0:40Speaker 1: who listen.
- 0:41Speaker 2: To this show.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And we are missing a host, Garrett Hargas. He is
- 0:46Speaker 1: no longer with busting with the boys. He is now
- 0:50Speaker 1: onto bigger and better things, taking a chance a new opportunity,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and we will sadly miss him on all fronts of
- 0:58Speaker 1: our business, including Inside the Us. He was a staple
- 1:01Speaker 1: member of this podcast. We obviously have him on the
- 1:05Speaker 1: carpet behind us and we'll never take him off obviously.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I mean, how crazy be if we just got a
- 1:10Speaker 1: new carpet.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Jack bby Jack BB.
- 1:14Speaker 4: No.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Hopefully Garrett Hargas will join us back here in the
- 1:19Speaker 1: podcast studio in the future, but not as a host
- 1:22Speaker 1: but as a guest, and we can check in on
- 1:24Speaker 1: what he's up to and the cool things that are
- 1:27Speaker 1: ahead of him.
- 1:27Speaker 2: But yeah, guys, what's up? How are we doing good?
- 1:31Speaker 3: I'm fired up to see what Garrett does next, because
- 1:35Speaker 3: obviously none of this would have happened. He wouldn't have
- 1:39Speaker 3: part of ways. He would have done his own thing
- 1:41Speaker 3: if it wasn't best for him. So you know, G's
- 1:44Speaker 3: gonna cook up something.
- 1:46Speaker 5: He's going to crush whatever he does. Yeah, that dude
- 1:50Speaker 5: has a mind of his own.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I know. And some people, like a few people have
- 1:54Speaker 3: reached out to me like, hey, what were Garrett's like skills?
- 1:57Speaker 3: Where what is he really succeed in kind of in
- 2:00Speaker 3: y'all's company. And it's so funny whenever you go back
- 2:02Speaker 3: and talk through it, it's like, well, you know, in
- 2:05Speaker 3: the beginning, he was making a bunch of clips. He
- 2:07Speaker 3: did all the graphics, then he started doing all the
- 2:09Speaker 3: merch then he started making the vlogs. Then he started
- 2:12Speaker 3: doing all the operations and logistics. So everybody I tell him, like, man,
- 2:16Speaker 3: you you kind of pick your pick your spot for
- 2:18Speaker 3: him shotani of podcasting industries, Garrett Harky is.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And outside of how versatile he is, just from the
- 2:27Speaker 1: production standpoint, when I think of Garrett Hargas, I think, man,
- 2:31Speaker 1: that dude's cool, right, he just oozes that like just
- 2:35Speaker 1: really casual confidence, good style, a good hang. Just yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 1: he'll be missed sadly here, but hopefully in the future
- 2:44Speaker 1: we're gonna have him back if he'll have us. Really,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know, if he's killing to he might he might
- 2:49Speaker 1: outgrow us.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So we'll see.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But uh, yeah, do we want to dive into some
- 2:53Speaker 1: of the gifts we got before?
- 2:54Speaker 5: You said you bringing up the carpet and shout out
- 2:57Speaker 5: Jack GB Jack BB.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Did y'all see his Instagram?
- 3:01Speaker 2: Dude, he did it.
- 3:01Speaker 4: He did it. He got the golf simulator in his apartment.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Which is which is so sick what I'm about to say.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is no disrespect to you, Jack at all, So
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't want it to come across this way. But
- 3:13Speaker 1: when he says I'm going to build a golf simulator,
- 3:16Speaker 1: my first thought is, like an apartment complex golf simulator
- 3:19Speaker 1: that's like spending like thousands of dollars. They've got the turf,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and like, I love it that it's just literally this
- 3:25Speaker 1: gritty net with a backdrop and like literally just in
- 3:28Speaker 1: the middle of his legity and he's.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Just got like a little TV monitor that shows where
- 3:32Speaker 4: he is.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It's everything you need as a man.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Like that is he said he was gonna do it,
- 3:37Speaker 5: he followed through with it, and it's like, fuck it.
- 3:40Speaker 5: It's like one of those things like Jack, You've tweeted
- 3:42Speaker 5: a lot, like guys are gonna see this and just think.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Hell yeah, hell yeah. Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 1: This is a good reminder too to anyone that you
- 3:50Speaker 1: possess free will and you truly do whatever you want
- 3:52Speaker 1: with your life. So don't let the system or your
- 3:55Speaker 1: parents or negative people in your life tell you that
- 3:58Speaker 1: you can't build a golf simulator in your room.
- 4:00Speaker 5: And he's just like he's literally just finished graduating school
- 4:03Speaker 5: and like now he has access to grown up money, right,
- 4:06Speaker 5: And it's like now.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Now he has access to golf courses, just.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Has grown up money. Now he's like, this is what
- 4:11Speaker 5: I'm going to spend money, grown up money on it.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And it's like, yes, dude, all I can think of too,
- 4:17Speaker 3: because I mean, Jack is We've had him on the show.
- 4:19Speaker 3: He's one of the nicest people ever, and but I'm worried.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I'm like, Jack, please do not be playing too late,
- 4:26Speaker 3: because I'm seeing the video and I'm hearing the sound,
- 4:28Speaker 3: and all I'm thinking about is if I'm the neighbor
- 4:31Speaker 3: next to him, what is the mother ef for doing
- 4:34Speaker 3: in here? Half the day he's drilling, he's creating carpets.
- 4:37Speaker 3: The other half the day he's hitting golf balls. And
- 4:40Speaker 3: I got no piece of quat.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I'd be the loudest neighbor of all might be.
- 4:42Speaker 3: The loudest neighbor of all time. But I know Jack's
- 4:45Speaker 3: very respectful.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Just invest in some soundproofing material. Ye squares on the wall.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Throw up a blanket, and we need to do it
- 4:53Speaker 3: inside the bus blalok to his apartment.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Yeah, honestly, Jack, I haven't texted you yet, but you
- 4:58Speaker 5: are on our next flag team, so he would be
- 5:00Speaker 5: around much more often.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Make announcement.
- 5:02Speaker 6: Recruiting never stops.
- 5:03Speaker 3: No recruiting never stops.
- 5:05Speaker 1: But yeah, he's a spending big boy money. We had
- 5:08Speaker 1: a loyal listener, I believe Derek. He goes by the
- 5:11Speaker 1: name of mister White Chocolate.
- 5:12Speaker 7: Mister White Chocolate, do you want.
- 5:14Speaker 2: To give a description?
- 5:15Speaker 1: Because you were familiar with mister White Chocolate and I
- 5:18Speaker 1: think he's kind of online and so just.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yes, a description.
- 5:22Speaker 7: No, he was just a guy that when I had
- 5:24Speaker 7: first started, I had seen in the comments before the
- 5:26Speaker 7: dads and he had a call in and so we
- 5:28Speaker 7: were just kind of dming here and there, and he
- 5:30Speaker 7: had a DM just asking him to send us a
- 5:32Speaker 7: Christmas card in a couple of gifts a while ago.
- 5:34Speaker 7: So I gave him, like, there's two addresses you can
- 5:36Speaker 7: give out and it's the address or the PO box,
- 5:38Speaker 7: and so I give the PO box and then it
- 5:40Speaker 7: took a while to get it here because Brett goes
- 5:42Speaker 7: and checks it and stuff. So the other day he
- 5:44Speaker 7: sent us a video to me and Sherman was like, Hey,
- 5:46Speaker 7: what's all this stuff? And I was like, I don't know,
- 5:48Speaker 7: but it's sick. And then turns out it's from a
- 5:51Speaker 7: loyal listener, mister White Chocolate.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so we actually before we really explain all the
- 5:56Speaker 1: things he's saying, he sent us a letter.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Also.
- 5:58Speaker 5: We said before that we wanted to do like these
- 6:00Speaker 5: unboxings and stuff. I didn't even know the PO box address,
- 6:03Speaker 5: so we should, like, I don't know if we can
- 6:05Speaker 5: post something about.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It, and I'd love to know that address.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, oh, Derek knows it.
- 6:10Speaker 7: Like we did it for the reason I got it
- 6:12Speaker 7: was for for the dads. We wanted people to send
- 6:14Speaker 7: us their Christmas cards, and so I was like, let's
- 6:16Speaker 7: just pepper them there. Yeah, that way they're in one
- 6:19Speaker 7: spot and we've got a bundle of them.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Yeah, but we will be putting out our PO box
- 6:24Speaker 5: address somewhere so that if y'all want more stuff and
- 6:27Speaker 5: get featured on the pod and I thank you, you
- 6:30Speaker 5: can send us your stuff and it'll whether it's here
- 6:34Speaker 5: or somehow we'll figure out how to get all of
- 6:36Speaker 5: it hung up. So it's like just like a fan
- 6:37Speaker 5: wall of something.
- 6:39Speaker 3: But what you got there?
- 6:41Speaker 1: So this is from mister White Chocolate himself. I don't
- 6:45Speaker 1: know if you can kind of zoom in or you
- 6:46Speaker 1: can see this, but so this handwriting is very neat,
- 6:50Speaker 1: but it's slanted sideway.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Somebody do my best to read this. I think I
- 6:53Speaker 2: got it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: It's from mister White Chocolate boys. So sorry for the
- 6:57Speaker 1: late Christmas card and package. This month has been a
- 6:59Speaker 1: roller coach to ride. For sure, I lost my grandmother
- 7:02Speaker 1: on December twenty eighth. I'm sorry to hear that rest
- 7:05Speaker 1: in peace, so white chocolate to missus Senior white Chocolate.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It was a tough moment for sure, since the she
- 7:12Speaker 1: helped me raise me, my daughter took in the worst
- 7:14Speaker 1: way unfortunately, since they had a great relationship. I've just
- 7:18Speaker 1: been consoling her and reminding her that me maw is
- 7:20Speaker 1: now in a better place. Also, I'm in the middle
- 7:23Speaker 1: of a move as well and officiating flag football tournaments
- 7:26Speaker 1: and attending college football camp so hopefully get hired by
- 7:28Speaker 1: a college conference. Here's some autographed items you guys can
- 7:32Speaker 1: have and maybe hang up in your offices or the
- 7:35Speaker 1: back of the bus podcast set. Make sure you tell
- 7:39Speaker 1: it's on the other side very well, like we love
- 7:41Speaker 1: getting this stuff, so maybe we can do like a
- 7:43Speaker 1: little call in or mail in sat manywhere.
- 7:48Speaker 2: But sorry, got lost again.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Make sure you tell my guy Jack that I'm still
- 7:53Speaker 1: waiting for my signed girl Dad hats signed by Taylor
- 7:56Speaker 1: and Will that I won while doing or winning during
- 8:00Speaker 1: a red Dead Redemption live stream and if you remember
- 8:03Speaker 1: watching those, Taylor did that for about two weeks straight.
- 8:05Speaker 1: And I think he owes A lot of people will get.
- 8:09Speaker 4: You that doesn't even somebody like a cast iron skillet.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, I think it might be another guy
- 8:15Speaker 1: that we'll talk about almost two years ago, but he goes.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I bet his boo Veronica her prize. Ah, I remember,
- 8:24Speaker 1: but forgot about melloll. I hope you all have a
- 8:26Speaker 1: merry Christmas and happy New Year and can't wait to
- 8:28Speaker 1: see what's in Server twenty twenty six. And if any
- 8:30Speaker 1: of you guys come to Dallas, please let me know.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I love to meet you all and hang with the boys.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Here's my real is just in case you don't have
- 8:37Speaker 1: my hat loll. We'll leave that out, but keep being
- 8:42Speaker 1: great gents. Dash mister white Chocolate. I'm actually going to
- 8:47Speaker 1: Dallas in two weeks, so I think it's only.
- 8:50Speaker 6: Right I might have to.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Pull up for a little drink or something.
- 8:54Speaker 5: That would be you know what would actually be sick
- 8:56Speaker 5: is if you met up with him and did a
- 8:58Speaker 5: sandwich review.
- 8:59Speaker 2: That'd be awesome too, because we got that we need
- 9:01Speaker 2: more inside the sub.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Are you going to see him or are you going
- 9:03Speaker 3: for some other reason?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Well, I mean, unfortunately now I'm going for another reason.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But it feels like this is this is fate. So again,
- 9:11Speaker 1: thank you mister White Chocolate for the nice note. We're
- 9:14Speaker 1: sorry about your grandmother, but uh, we love you and
- 9:17Speaker 1: let's appreciate you.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Cooper, why don't you why don't you unveil this one?
- 9:21Speaker 3: And somebody remind me to ask a question after we
- 9:24Speaker 3: do the unboxing, because this letter made me think of something.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Well, we have here.
- 9:29Speaker 8: I don't know how well we can see it. It's
- 9:30Speaker 8: pretty big, like I feel like you can see pretty good.
- 9:32Speaker 8: Is a Chase Edmonds Cardinals legend autographed photo. One thing
- 9:38Speaker 8: about Chase Edmonds is he was just all right. But
- 9:43Speaker 8: but he reminds me.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Stay with me, you know, the Cardinals. I'm in a
- 9:49Speaker 6: bad head, a rough week, two weeks, but.
- 9:52Speaker 8: He reminds me of the good old days a few
- 9:55Speaker 8: years ago, when there was hope and I.
- 9:58Speaker 6: Was telling people, you know who Chase Edmons is not?
- 10:01Speaker 6: Oh he's really underrated. Yeah I thought he was, and
- 10:04Speaker 6: then you know, I mean he well you know he was.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I was.
- 10:09Speaker 4: What's his photo?
- 10:10Speaker 3: Explain this photo?
- 10:12Speaker 8: This photo appears to be Chase Edmonds scoring a touchdown
- 10:15Speaker 8: against the New York Football Giants. I actually remember this
- 10:18Speaker 8: game Josh Dobbs, Tennessee legend.
- 10:23Speaker 6: A yes VFL.
- 10:26Speaker 8: Josh Dobbs started this game and the Cardinals roared out
- 10:28Speaker 8: to a huge, like three touchdown lead and then just
- 10:31Speaker 8: completely pooped themselves and play with But this was this
- 10:34Speaker 8: was part of the.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I did not know that when I asked you to explain.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I'm thinking this is pick six game winner Chase Edmonds
- 10:41Speaker 3: or I guess.
- 10:42Speaker 8: He's a running he's a running back. Then he left
- 10:44Speaker 8: and then took green your pastures and then.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Sorry, I thought it was Patrick Peterson down Rogers Camardi legend.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Anyways, thank you for that. This is sick. This will
- 10:56Speaker 6: be going on the wall somewhere. Appreciate you. Thank you
- 10:59Speaker 6: for that.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I'll go next.
- 11:01Speaker 5: I have two things, but I want to save the
- 11:03Speaker 5: one for last because I think it is legendary. But
- 11:07Speaker 5: this is it Danty?
- 11:10Speaker 2: No, it's Yancy Nancy?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Is he related to Tyler?
- 11:15Speaker 2: I have no.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Idea actually signed on the back that actually is crazy.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I have no idea who they gave this.
- 11:23Speaker 1: The old guy he played for the Oilers and the Titans,
- 11:26Speaker 1: with the Oilers the Titans.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Old type feelings. I mean, it wasn't was Delaney two.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Yeah, Hey he walks Lady Run Yes, which Steelers legend.
- 11:42Speaker 3: We gotta break that down because I think the Lady
- 11:45Speaker 3: was in one of the photos. Taylor's most recent post
- 11:49Speaker 3: crop god Blur, God, Derek. I don't know if you've
- 11:52Speaker 3: seen his most recent post.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I don't think I have either.
- 11:54Speaker 8: I don't think anybody has transition from from professional sports
- 11:59Speaker 8: into media.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You'd think that he would at least just be able
- 12:03Speaker 1: to post a clear photo now. But it's almost like
- 12:07Speaker 1: maybe he's on the ultimate bit.
- 12:09Speaker 6: There's something endearing about it.
- 12:10Speaker 3: He really is.
- 12:11Speaker 2: It's like a kid showing you a draw and that's
- 12:13Speaker 2: so good.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Look at this post I made, Jack, and that's you
- 12:20Speaker 3: and that's the lady. Oh my gosh.
- 12:22Speaker 5: What you do to him on Twitter of like the
- 12:24Speaker 5: searching and googling thing is like I've had multiple people
- 12:27Speaker 5: be like, like, did Taylor actually do that?
- 12:30Speaker 4: Or is Jack just messing around.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's become my favorite bit on Twitter because it's it's
- 12:35Speaker 1: to the sentiment of what we're talking about Taylor being
- 12:37Speaker 1: like a little kid. That one, I'm like, like, crushing
- 12:40Speaker 1: him as an adult. I'm like, and what's funny is
- 12:44Speaker 1: people take Twitter Twitter is so negative compared to like Instagram,
- 12:48Speaker 1: and you can post one thing on Instagram and get
- 12:50Speaker 1: the most positive things in the world.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And you go to Twitter and people are like, you're
- 12:53Speaker 2: gay as fuck. So but I'm not.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I don't know if Taylor's gay, but I do think
- 12:59Speaker 1: that you got to just continue doing that for the
- 13:01Speaker 1: rest of time.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yea, his kids are going to think he played in
- 13:05Speaker 3: the seventies the way he posts the photos, which more
- 13:10Speaker 3: power to him. Yeah, I mean you played against plumbers.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Three time Pro bowler had the Bowl.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Do you have more stuff or did you not have?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, we do have this.
- 13:22Speaker 4: I want to save that one for last.
- 13:24Speaker 3: No, gotcha, Yeah, I'll hold him. Yeah, here, I'll hold
- 13:32Speaker 3: it up. You didn't talk about it.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It's just dud. I'm not even sure who this is,
- 13:36Speaker 2: to be honest, you.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Knows a Hall of Famer Robert who is the Midge.
- 13:43Speaker 6: Robert something Rende Barber.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Let's look it up.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Robert.
- 13:47Speaker 2: He's a Hall of Famer, Hall of Famer class. I'm
- 13:50Speaker 2: not to get crucified, but you know, we gotta.
- 13:53Speaker 6: Keep cut it on.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Robert b. Robert Bigelow Hall of Fame Class of eight.
- 13:57Speaker 6: He's no Chase Edmonds.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That he looks like dick buckets.
- 14:04Speaker 8: This is sick though, Let's see, you know we got
- 14:08Speaker 8: dirty in the trenches looking at it wasn't a hobby
- 14:12Speaker 8: for him.
- 14:12Speaker 4: This is this is poor podcasting.
- 14:14Speaker 2: But yeah, terrible, need more, need everything. At this point,
- 14:20Speaker 2: while we're waiting this breaks brought you by Chad GPT, Dude,
- 14:27Speaker 2: I am really not even getting Yeah, Robert Brazil, doctor.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Dude, doctor Doom.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna get killed in the comments man out right now.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I know, man, I'm literally wearing the Oilers jacket.
- 14:46Speaker 4: But dude, I'm about to get that was his nickname
- 14:48Speaker 4: was doctor Doom.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, he actually said, I'm starting to get a little quiet.
- 14:54Speaker 2: But anyways, thank you.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Hey.
- 14:57Speaker 8: Last week I sat there and said Kurt Warner was
- 14:59Speaker 8: the only quarterback the Cardinal's ever had, and I had
- 15:02Speaker 8: so many ads about Carson Palmer Twitter, which, by the way,
- 15:05Speaker 8: I do know Carson Palmer heat of the moment stuff.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Dude, you were dealing with the loss of Kyler.
- 15:13Speaker 6: I'm getting better on the mic, but I'm still not
- 15:14Speaker 6: that good man.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I forgot the last thing we have I think is
- 15:18Speaker 5: maybe one of my favorite things we've ever received.
- 15:21Speaker 3: But Jessica Simpson CUSTOMJ Simpson us O J Simpson USC Jersey.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Massive.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Dude, dude, how did you get your hands on that?
- 15:37Speaker 4: That's only that's a question that mister White Chocolate can answer.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I'll have to ask him for sure.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Because like a legit jersey, like everything.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Hanging in the locker room, in his locker and.
- 15:52Speaker 4: See two thousand and four limited edition shout out, mister
- 15:56Speaker 4: White Chocolate.
- 15:58Speaker 1: He's like a memorabilia collector or if he's against spending
- 16:01Speaker 1: his big boy money to just send us some cool stuff.
- 16:04Speaker 5: But I feel like either way, some of the stuff
- 16:06Speaker 5: is like kind of random, like the Yancy thig Pin one,
- 16:08Speaker 5: the Chase Edmunds one, like.
- 16:11Speaker 7: He has like a plug or he's deep in the
- 16:13Speaker 7: memorabilia game, and so his TikTok and his YouTube channel
- 16:16Speaker 7: just have jerseys and signatures and him and his wife
- 16:19Speaker 7: going I would assume his wife going to games and things.
- 16:21Speaker 6: So he's deep.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Also, why don't you to give him another shout out
- 16:24Speaker 5: shout out his socials because he sent us all this
- 16:27Speaker 5: cool stuff.
- 16:28Speaker 7: Absolutely, uh, he does have which I don't know if
- 16:31Speaker 7: the link's not working, but it's literally mister White Chocolate
- 16:33Speaker 7: eighty eight on TikTok. He does have a YouTube channel
- 16:36Speaker 7: where he'll uh makes a ton of content things like that.
- 16:39Speaker 7: For some reason, I can't see the link on here,
- 16:40Speaker 7: But dude is a stud, big memorabilia guy, a big
- 16:43Speaker 7: sideline guy, a Commanders fan.
- 16:45Speaker 4: It would appear white chocolate. Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 3: One of the best things about sports to me is
- 16:50Speaker 3: these is the pieces of memorabilia like the Chase Edmunds
- 16:53Speaker 3: photo because I don't know, I don't know why. It
- 16:55Speaker 3: just hits so hard. Would be like it is just
- 16:58Speaker 3: a random guy.
- 16:59Speaker 4: I know that.
- 17:00Speaker 3: You know that Cardinals fans out there, there's some kid
- 17:02Speaker 3: out there that Chase Edmonds was his favorite player for
- 17:05Speaker 3: whatever reason. And to have that come across the come
- 17:09Speaker 3: across the scene the screen is beautiful.
- 17:12Speaker 8: How much sports memberabilly is out there right like, And
- 17:17Speaker 8: it's kind of the same for every like hobby or
- 17:19Speaker 8: sports so to speak. If you want to count sports
- 17:21Speaker 8: as a hobby, but.
- 17:22Speaker 3: A hobby, bro, it's your line.
- 17:24Speaker 6: Ain't a hobby.
- 17:25Speaker 3: The question I had after this letter, oh man, oh
- 17:31Speaker 3: never mind, this isn't cursive. I thought this was cursive,
- 17:34Speaker 3: and I'm thinking, like there's a there. I feel like
- 17:37Speaker 3: there's a year that a person was born. And that's
- 17:39Speaker 3: the cut off of people that use cursive. Because my
- 17:42Speaker 3: dad writes in cursive, my mom writes in cursive. My
- 17:46Speaker 3: oldest brother does not write in cursive.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Do y'all know cursive?
- 17:49Speaker 3: Do you know cursive?
- 17:50Speaker 2: I went to a private school.
- 17:52Speaker 6: I got my cursive license in third grade.
- 17:54Speaker 4: The most.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Different to write.
- 17:59Speaker 5: I learned it in fourth grade. And my signature still
- 18:02Speaker 5: looks like a fourth grader like wrote it. That's how
- 18:05Speaker 5: bad my cursive is. But my dad went to Catholic
- 18:08Speaker 5: school growing up, like they had to write in cursive
- 18:11Speaker 5: every single day, so like his writing is still in cursive.
- 18:14Speaker 5: His writing was still in cursive, but like my mom
- 18:18Speaker 5: writes normal, So it's like kind of weird.
- 18:20Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 18:21Speaker 3: For the next bus scenes, I'm going to cove with
- 18:23Speaker 3: a sentence and I'm going to have the shop ride
- 18:25Speaker 3: it in cursive. There got throw the Z in there.
- 18:30Speaker 6: Is not easy either.
- 18:31Speaker 3: My favorite was the d well, what's the capital J?
- 18:37Speaker 3: What's the capital J look like? Because I signed JP.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Capitol J is just a big yeah. Yeah, it's literally
- 18:44Speaker 1: just a big loop down.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I'm trying to actually, like one of the easiest ones.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 18:50Speaker 6: What the lower case license probably expired.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I think it's it's like a loop.
- 18:55Speaker 6: And then isn't it like a like you?
- 18:58Speaker 8: Yeah, I guess it's too it's too right. It's a
- 19:00Speaker 8: loop and then a loop back.
- 19:02Speaker 2: That's the upper case one.
- 19:04Speaker 1: The lower case one is like it starts as a
- 19:06Speaker 1: U and then you bring the J down and come
- 19:08Speaker 1: back up and then.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Yes, it looks like a you and a J combine
- 19:11Speaker 6: kind of.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Like a like a Y almost Yeah, two tails on
- 19:15Speaker 2: the end.
- 19:15Speaker 5: The hardest one for me to rate are RS and S'SRS.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Easy, but I like is like, yeah, remember I have.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I go like R and then S for my last name,
- 19:29Speaker 5: and it's like it's just I'm gotten getting to the
- 19:32Speaker 5: point where my signatures.
- 19:35Speaker 8: I think this is easy when I'm doing that S
- 19:39Speaker 8: T T combo and comstock.
- 19:43Speaker 2: But this begs the question. Is cursive writing a dying breed?
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yes?
- 19:49Speaker 3: And I need to stay dead.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Thinks of like digital media and everyone being on their
- 19:53Speaker 1: phone so much.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Like calligraphy is dead unless you're.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Like signing something or if you keep a journal. I
- 19:58Speaker 1: feel like most old, I like, at least in my profession,
- 20:02Speaker 1: my personal law. I don't write unless I'm writing in
- 20:04Speaker 1: a journal or signing something.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it's I'll write like to do lists and I'll
- 20:11Speaker 5: write brookets on my ass all for it, all of
- 20:14Speaker 5: the time. But I'll like, for my grocery list, I'll
- 20:16Speaker 5: put it on a sticky note and like just something
- 20:17Speaker 5: about like crossing it off. I'll do that, like that's
- 20:20Speaker 5: I'll handwrite that. But like cursive is, it's just my name,
- 20:25Speaker 5: and I feel like that is how like the majority
- 20:27Speaker 5: of people in our generation, the only thing they know
- 20:29Speaker 5: how to write in cursive is their signature.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Cursive died when we had to learn a S D
- 20:33Speaker 3: F J k L semi colon. That was the end
- 20:36Speaker 3: of it.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I don't even know what that is. You don't know
- 20:38Speaker 4: what that is as you.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Know what that is.
- 20:40Speaker 8: It's like like typing, you know, yeah, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 8: what are they?
- 20:45Speaker 3: What are they called?
- 20:47Speaker 4: Is that where you're supposed to rest your hands?
- 20:48Speaker 7: It's home base, baby, home base.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:51Speaker 3: I remember keyboard.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I remember you had to pass quirdy Cordy.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I dude, what was the robot's name? Uh? That would
- 21:01Speaker 3: help you with math? The robot and the guy do
- 21:04Speaker 3: you remember them?
- 21:05Speaker 6: Tim and Moby is it Timmy you're talking about brain Pop?
- 21:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's on brain Pop. It's Tim and Moby.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Where the rope?
- 21:11Speaker 6: Where the robotom guy? The copper like looking bronze robot.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I don't think I'm thinking of a brother.
- 21:18Speaker 4: What you're talking.
- 21:19Speaker 6: I'm pulling up Tim Moby.
- 21:20Speaker 2: There's no I know that, but I don't even know
- 21:22Speaker 2: we're talking. All I can think of is Clippy. You
- 21:26Speaker 2: know what Clippy is?
- 21:26Speaker 3: I don't think I do the.
- 21:29Speaker 2: What's the paper?
- 21:30Speaker 6: Yeah, that's the that's Tim and Moby. Yeah, brain Pop?
- 21:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, I just put the You don't yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I mean it's like.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Us the Microsoft Help.
- 21:43Speaker 3: What do you say?
- 21:44Speaker 7: I said, No, I don't know that is and keep
- 21:46Speaker 7: goes out.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I gotta see Clippy, you know, mister Bill.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Oh remember Clippy Clip was a beast?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, clipp is the kid.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It's the like your soft, like the original AI, almost
- 22:02Speaker 1: to where it could just help you find things on
- 22:04Speaker 1: your Now, what.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Duys pro Clippy? Clippy really was AI before AI, and
- 22:16Speaker 3: he does not get enough respect. No, I see all
- 22:18Speaker 3: these threads about Claude. I need to see a thread
- 22:21Speaker 3: about Clippy.
- 22:22Speaker 7: Did you see the episode of the Office where Darryl's
- 22:24Speaker 7: making his resume and he's on helpline and he goes, yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 7: there was a paper clip that used to come up
- 22:28Speaker 7: and help me make my resume, and I want to
- 22:30Speaker 7: know where it went.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Got it?
- 22:31Speaker 2: It just ends up?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Oh, all right, what else we got?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Thank you again, mister white chocolate.
- 22:39Speaker 1: If we didn't already reiterate that those are awesome gifts,
- 22:42Speaker 1: we'll get him hung up.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I wonder if we were in the I didn't mean
- 22:45Speaker 3: to overlook on your phone, but you just received a book.
- 22:51Speaker 6: Hey, y'all want to know what it is.
- 22:54Speaker 8: It's about my uh my least renewal. Oh I think
- 23:01Speaker 8: I've already said.
- 23:01Speaker 6: On your court courtland.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Are you going to resign?
- 23:04Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:05Speaker 3: I do.
- 23:05Speaker 6: I can't move again.
- 23:07Speaker 3: I mean you gotta started dropping lease uh like resigns
- 23:11Speaker 3: like for how guy's correct?
- 23:13Speaker 6: Yeah, I gotta I gotta resign there.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Man, it's coming back up for your boy.
- 23:17Speaker 9: Oh no, wait, really, how how many times have you
- 23:26Speaker 9: moved in the last calendar year from today?
- 23:29Speaker 4: Twice since?
- 23:31Speaker 2: Or is it over that?
- 23:33Speaker 4: No? Just once. I lived at the house this time
- 23:35Speaker 4: last year, and then I moved into.
- 23:37Speaker 1: The apartment So if I'd asked you this in January, though,
- 23:39Speaker 1: it would have been too no.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Because we moved into the house of September of twenty three.
- 23:44Speaker 3: So have you been there for wit.
- 23:45Speaker 4: September twenty four.
- 23:46Speaker 6: Mitch is a nomad.
- 23:48Speaker 4: I've lived in like five different places and four years
- 23:50Speaker 4: of three years of being here.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Five and three. Yeah, that is clippy.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean Brook and I are trying to
- 24:00Speaker 5: figure out what we're gonna do. She wants to I personally,
- 24:04Speaker 5: and I've talked to JP about it. I want to
- 24:05Speaker 5: live in Australia for a year and it's like getting
- 24:08Speaker 5: to getting to the age of like we want to
- 24:11Speaker 5: get we want to have kids or whatever.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Like that's like a thought.
- 24:13Speaker 5: And also with Brook being in the medical field, I
- 24:15Speaker 5: don't know how the medical field is like different in Australia,
- 24:19Speaker 5: Like pas aren't really a thing over there, which is
- 24:21Speaker 5: like scary.
- 24:22Speaker 4: So it's like what we're gonna do.
- 24:24Speaker 5: She wants to also live back out and like she
- 24:27Speaker 5: had like a mental breakdown, like I don't know what
- 24:30Speaker 5: I would do if we do not live back in
- 24:31Speaker 5: California for a year, And I'm like, so, I that's
- 24:33Speaker 5: something that we have to do.
- 24:35Speaker 4: But it's like I'm going to be moving kind of.
- 24:39Speaker 5: I know I'm going to be moving a lot, and
- 24:41Speaker 5: I think that's yes, it's it's become a bit that
- 24:44Speaker 5: I move a lot. But I also think like it's
- 24:47Speaker 5: a it's a real thing. But I enjoy moving other
- 24:50Speaker 5: than the Actually I enjoy living in different places.
- 24:53Speaker 2: But you enjoy a new scene.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Correct, Yeah, I get it.
- 24:56Speaker 6: It's like two days of hell and then you're good
- 24:58Speaker 6: for a while.
- 24:59Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, like that hell, Yeah, I would.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I would argue that moving is probably like one of
- 25:07Speaker 3: the top three worst things that you can do in
- 25:09Speaker 3: your in your personal life.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I would argue for a one almost it's fun.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I can't think of anything worse are you talking about?
- 25:16Speaker 4: Just like the process, talking about the process.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Thinking that you're done and then you aren't.
- 25:21Speaker 1: You're halfway done, and then like the little things that
- 25:24Speaker 1: collect and the amount of trips you gotta take from.
- 25:26Speaker 6: A to B and once you move in you got
- 25:28Speaker 6: to organize.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, that's half to do.
- 25:30Speaker 6: That's like a that's like weeks.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And then like you get your WiFi set up, things
- 25:34Speaker 2: like that, little things you don't know about the.
- 25:37Speaker 8: It's always something Comcast is the final cancels leaning against
- 25:42Speaker 8: the wall, cancelings electric and water and like having a
- 25:46Speaker 8: new Yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Dress, Shannon is about to move and we just toured
- 25:51Speaker 1: an apartment yesterday for her, and we're doing one today
- 25:53Speaker 1: and the one yesterday. I won't say it to dog them,
- 25:56Speaker 1: but it's a new one going up in Wedgwood, Houston,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and from the oulex I looking in, it looks very nice.
- 26:01Speaker 1: But dude, they have a like one hundred seventy five
- 26:05Speaker 1: dollars amenutity fee and all they have is a pool
- 26:07Speaker 1: that they call a plunge pool. So it's tiny, a
- 26:10Speaker 1: small weight room and that's it. One hundred and twenty
- 26:16Speaker 1: five dollars to park, so it's three hundred dollars just
- 26:19Speaker 1: like without rent.
- 26:20Speaker 2: It all involved. And they also split utilities.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever heard of this because
- 26:25Speaker 1: I'm not an apartment guy, but they split the electric
- 26:28Speaker 1: bill in the common rooms.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Yep, Brooks Building had to do that. Like so Brooke brook.
- 26:33Speaker 2: In her roommate for a lobby lights to be onto.
- 26:36Speaker 5: We're paying for like the gym lights and everything. It's
- 26:38Speaker 5: like in reality it's an extra five to six bucks,
- 26:41Speaker 5: but still It's like, that's kind of fuck that.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Switch out Trump.
- 26:48Speaker 8: All the fees are such I pay for parking and
- 26:50Speaker 8: then I got my car broken into explain that logic.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Oh, we don't in the garage.
- 26:54Speaker 6: We don't have cameras.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I don't have a window to pay for cameras.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Yeah right, I don't know what our amenity fee is,
- 27:01Speaker 5: Like we're we pay for like uh uh yeah, pest control,
- 27:07Speaker 5: and like that ship doesn't.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Work for the one we toured yesterday.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Instead of physical keys, they have an application that you
- 27:14Speaker 1: get on your phone you can scan in, so like
- 27:16Speaker 1: on the surface level, I see, I'm like, all right,
- 27:18Speaker 1: that'd be pretty cool. First door we go in, the
- 27:20Speaker 1: tour keyworks perfectly. The next like six doors. It took
- 27:24Speaker 1: like ten seconds each time, and she's like, oh, this
- 27:26Speaker 1: doesn't need to happen.
- 27:27Speaker 2: We go down. She's explaining it you have to pay
- 27:29Speaker 2: to buy the app too, And now now I'm pissed.
- 27:33Speaker 3: And so does she sign a better one today?
- 27:37Speaker 1: And that one actually has real amenities? And yeah it's
- 27:40Speaker 1: the fineries we're touring today. I won't say the one
- 27:43Speaker 1: that I don't like, but they got a great pool
- 27:45Speaker 1: and they have a half basketball court inside there.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's epic.
- 27:49Speaker 3: We uh we get free coffee, I mean obviously it's
- 27:52Speaker 3: in some of the things.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Yeah, we get free. Yeah, but we get but.
- 27:55Speaker 3: It's like a coffee shop. Yeah, that's sick free coffee.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Shop, not like a cure like machine.
- 28:00Speaker 4: No.
- 28:00Speaker 3: No, there's like are there and it's like including whatever.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Then there's also a pet center where people that work
- 28:06Speaker 3: they board their dog for the day. The worker will
- 28:08Speaker 3: go take them out on like two walks. If you
- 28:10Speaker 3: leave town, you can bring it there. And it's so
- 28:13Speaker 3: much cheaper than normally boarding your dog. And I'm thinking,
- 28:16Speaker 3: how in the world has every apartment complex.
- 28:19Speaker 2: That would sell me in an apartment so fast?
- 28:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Yeah, they like I've seen like a bunch of the
- 28:24Speaker 5: apartments that I like we've toured and have been in.
- 28:26Speaker 5: They have like a dog washing area, like a pet
- 28:29Speaker 5: wa yeah, or they'll have like my apartment has like
- 28:32Speaker 5: a green way kind of like just turf area.
- 28:35Speaker 2: For like a little like a dog run.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and they can just go out there and like
- 28:39Speaker 5: pee and poopy and just pick up it. Well, you
- 28:41Speaker 5: have a bag and you can throw it away. But
- 28:43Speaker 5: like a watcher is sick. That's awesome.
- 28:45Speaker 3: So what if moving is number one, what are some
- 28:48Speaker 3: other things that are just war Like.
- 28:51Speaker 1: My mind is so just all over the moving trail
- 28:54Speaker 1: and how much it takes from you. There's gotta be maybe,
- 28:58Speaker 1: I say, like each year, because it can sin. Having
- 29:00Speaker 1: to file your taxes is definitely up there. It's not
- 29:03Speaker 1: the hardest thing in the world, but it's just something that's.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Always annoying to me. Yeah, one of the things in
- 29:08Speaker 2: life that will always remain.
- 29:10Speaker 5: I feel like, and I don't know if it's because
- 29:13Speaker 5: my dad normally handles it most of the time, but
- 29:16Speaker 5: like when you're buying a car and like haggling them
- 29:19Speaker 5: and trying to go back and forth, and then all
- 29:21Speaker 5: of the paperwork that you have to go through, and
- 29:23Speaker 5: then just to find out.
- 29:24Speaker 1: That I think I'm about to buy a car. I mean,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I've told you guys that I'm overdue, but I've figured
- 29:29Speaker 1: out this week what car I want. I want to
- 29:31Speaker 1: buy a Toyota land Cruiser.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Oh.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I feel like I'm gonna have to buck up and
- 29:37Speaker 1: buy like a newer one, and they're very expensive.
- 29:39Speaker 2: But I've never.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Gone through that process because I've always bought used cars
- 29:42Speaker 1: and never bought from a dealership.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So I don't know if that's the route, but if.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Anyone out there works for a Toyota dealership and you
- 29:50Speaker 1: want to point me in the right direction, we're looking
- 29:51Speaker 1: for land cruisers.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Baby, they spend.
- 29:54Speaker 5: I always feel so awkward of like haggling and like negotiating,
- 29:58Speaker 5: like come on, I guess it's down, and then they're like,
- 30:00Speaker 5: this is I asked my manager.
- 30:02Speaker 4: They have like they have like, oh yeah, this is
- 30:05Speaker 4: the lowest, the absolute love.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Okay, Well, we're gonna walk out, and he's like, well,
- 30:10Speaker 5: let me go talk to him one more time.
- 30:12Speaker 4: It's like, what are we doing here?
- 30:13Speaker 6: It's like we're gonna we're gonna play.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Yeah it is. How about we just meet in the middle.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Let's just like I'll pay performance. It truly is. It's
- 30:22Speaker 4: like it's like a.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Song of that too.
- 30:24Speaker 4: I just get so uncomfortable.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I get so uncomfortable, and like that's why my
- 30:28Speaker 5: dad normally does it, and he just like, we're not
- 30:30Speaker 5: doing that.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Give us that, okay.
- 30:33Speaker 3: So that's why Tesla is so intriguing to me, because
- 30:36Speaker 3: I'm like, hey, let me just purchase this online and
- 30:38Speaker 3: they'll just deliver it to me. I don't got to
- 30:40Speaker 3: deal with anybody. The price is what the price is,
- 30:43Speaker 3: and I think more car company should take that approach
- 30:46Speaker 3: for those listening. And that segment was presented by.
- 30:51Speaker 6: What else I have a I have a selfish one.
- 30:53Speaker 6: It's gonna make me sound super selfish.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Love it.
- 30:55Speaker 8: I'm actually scared to say it, but I will. And
- 30:58Speaker 8: this might be because I'm getting older. We're talking about like
- 31:01Speaker 8: just super annoying inconvenient things, right, yeah, Christmas shopping.
- 31:06Speaker 2: No, I I understand. I think I understand.
- 31:08Speaker 8: It's it's not it's it's not about like I don't
- 31:11Speaker 8: want to give people get Like that's not it at all.
- 31:13Speaker 8: It is like the stress of all of a sudden,
- 31:16Speaker 8: like the last few years, I found out how many
- 31:17Speaker 8: people I like need to get a gift for and
- 31:19Speaker 8: then finding them and then worrying about them getting I
- 31:21Speaker 8: had a couple like stolen from my apartment, which I
- 31:24Speaker 8: do love, but I have just so many problems out it.
- 31:26Speaker 8: I talk about it out loud, like all of that,
- 31:29Speaker 8: like getting them in and then like I live out
- 31:30Speaker 8: of state, so I gotta like find a way to
- 31:33Speaker 8: get them home, Like.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole fair, the whole.
- 31:36Speaker 8: Like half of November December updil Christmas was so stressful
- 31:41Speaker 8: just figuring all that out, Like just the logistics. Again,
- 31:43Speaker 8: it's not about all the people I love, I love
- 31:46Speaker 8: getting I'm excited to give them gifts. It's about finding
- 31:50Speaker 8: out what to give, of the logistics of getting it
- 31:54Speaker 8: to them, and then like the timing, it's all of
- 31:56Speaker 8: it combined.
- 31:57Speaker 5: It's because you like giving them so gifts they again
- 32:00Speaker 5: it's because of Jesus Christ, because you enjoy giving the gifts.
- 32:05Speaker 5: That makes it stressful because you want the gift to
- 32:07Speaker 5: like be good.
- 32:08Speaker 8: Yeah, but it's just like it literally feels like a
- 32:11Speaker 8: sprint from November to December, like this has to happen
- 32:14Speaker 8: in this window, and like obviously you can start a
- 32:16Speaker 8: little earlier, which for some like little things.
- 32:18Speaker 6: I would like if I see something that's.
- 32:20Speaker 3: A good three moving, taxes, logistics of Christmas.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Shopping, yeah, I'll hang my hat on that.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, buying cars for oh yeah, true, true.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Buying a car.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Once I go through that process, I'll reevalue that.
- 32:35Speaker 5: That's not something you do all that often. So I
- 32:37Speaker 5: understand that like taxes, moving and.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Midge, Midge about to start buying cars like he moves apartments.
- 32:45Speaker 4: I can't afford that, dude.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Definitely dropping the comments one of the most annoying things.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I feel like there's fat ones that were missing.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's all we need comments. We'll revisit this.
- 32:55Speaker 2: We always need a Vince session.
- 32:57Speaker 3: We always need one.
- 32:58Speaker 5: We were talking about it briefly this morning, and we
- 33:00Speaker 5: want to do a social video about it. And I
- 33:03Speaker 5: think I don't know if I saw JP tweet about it,
- 33:05Speaker 5: Like the best sports tournaments.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like do a bracket for the best?
- 33:10Speaker 4: Yeah, off the top, Like what is like everybody's top three?
- 33:14Speaker 3: Number one is the World Cup. There's no better atmosphere
- 33:17Speaker 3: because there's no better buying from fans. If all you
- 33:20Speaker 3: gotta do is just look up the first goal of
- 33:22Speaker 3: the twenty ten World Cup in South Africa, when how
- 33:26Speaker 3: you say his name hits the goal, they hit the
- 33:30Speaker 3: dance in the corner. Look up that one, and then
- 33:33Speaker 3: also look up Argentina's parade from the last World Cup,
- 33:36Speaker 3: and it's like Americans think we go hard. Philadelphia thinks
- 33:39Speaker 3: they go hard for a Super Bowl parade. They do
- 33:42Speaker 3: not touch argent and celebrating.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why.
- 33:47Speaker 3: I said, Philly, So I got I got World Cup
- 33:50Speaker 3: number one for me.
- 33:52Speaker 8: Uh, I don't know, Man, turn this out, Like that
- 33:58Speaker 8: includes like small playoffs, right, yes.
- 34:01Speaker 2: All, Like we're talking March Maddens, college football playoffs, NFL playoffs.
- 34:06Speaker 5: One that gets like a lot of that gets a
- 34:08Speaker 5: lot of views. It's like, I don't know. To me,
- 34:10Speaker 5: it's sneaky because I'm not in. It is Wimbledon, and
- 34:12Speaker 5: like it's one of the highest viewed on TV.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It comes at the perfect time of the year, right
- 34:17Speaker 3: around fourth of July. Everyone is typically off of work.
- 34:21Speaker 3: It also happens in the morning, so it's like the
- 34:24Speaker 3: first thing you can do and you still have the
- 34:25Speaker 3: whole rest of your day. We've been blessed with great
- 34:28Speaker 3: tennis players over the last twenty five years in the
- 34:31Speaker 3: transition from Federer to al Karaz, so like you'll probably
- 34:35Speaker 3: see the greatest tennis player to ever play tennis in
- 34:38Speaker 3: the next twenty finals of Wimbledon, plus Djokovic. I mean
- 34:43Speaker 3: I would as a big tennis fan, I could probably
- 34:46Speaker 3: put Wimbledon at two and three. Is so tough for
- 34:49Speaker 3: me because like I love college football, and I'm sure
- 34:52Speaker 3: if South Carolina has one one of them, I would
- 34:54Speaker 3: put college football. But we haven't as a kid. I
- 34:58Speaker 3: used to love the NBA finals. Three is so.
- 35:02Speaker 8: Hard NBA and NHL, and I like, I don't like
- 35:06Speaker 8: the NBA as much anymore. But when the Mavericks used
- 35:08Speaker 8: to be good and they're playing playoffs, the thing I
- 35:10Speaker 8: love about It's kind of true for baseball too. I
- 35:12Speaker 8: feel like baseball's a little shorter. NHL and NBA playoffs
- 35:15Speaker 8: are like such a marathon. Yeah, it's truly like a postseason.
- 35:19Speaker 8: It is like almost three months of high like playoff sports.
- 35:24Speaker 8: And I just feel like, obviously love the NFL. That's
- 35:27Speaker 8: that feels very quick to me. Always like yeah, right,
- 35:30Speaker 8: it's week in, week in, week in, Bam, super Bowl.
- 35:32Speaker 8: Those are like you got a game every two days.
- 35:36Speaker 8: There's like five to seven of them in each series.
- 35:39Speaker 8: There's a ton of series, and I mean, I don't
- 35:41Speaker 8: even know. They start in like May and end in
- 35:43Speaker 8: mid June or something like.
- 35:44Speaker 4: It starts like late April and goes into it.
- 35:46Speaker 8: It's just like June generally, like it just a completely
- 35:50Speaker 8: new season, right rather than just all right, here's the
- 35:53Speaker 8: teams and they're gonna play a few games and decide
- 35:56Speaker 8: the champions, Like no, you gotta That's why Lebron has
- 35:59Speaker 8: so many like extra seasons under his belt because he's
- 36:02Speaker 8: played so many postseasons. Like I don't know what year
- 36:04Speaker 8: it is in the NBA for him, but it's it's
- 36:06Speaker 8: he's probably played like eight more right, cumulative seasons. But
- 36:10Speaker 8: I do enjoy that about NHL and NBA, Like those
- 36:13Speaker 8: are up there for me just because of the longevity
- 36:15Speaker 8: of them.
- 36:16Speaker 5: I think I would put like I just watched, like
- 36:19Speaker 5: the other day, the like the Preds in their run
- 36:22Speaker 5: to the Stanley Cup, and I'm like, and especially with
- 36:24Speaker 5: the way the Olympics just went, like the hockey culture,
- 36:28Speaker 5: I'm like really starting to buy into. I think Stanley
- 36:30Speaker 5: Cup's definitely in the top three. I would put NFL
- 36:33Speaker 5: playoffs at number one, just being a football guy. Probably
- 36:36Speaker 5: Stanley Cup at two, And I like the World Cup
- 36:40Speaker 5: is like obvious to me. But just like I think
- 36:45Speaker 5: of like fan pop moments and like I feel like
- 36:47Speaker 5: baseball has that.
- 36:48Speaker 6: I was gonna say, I hyped up NHL and NBA.
- 36:51Speaker 6: My my number one goes with that.
- 36:53Speaker 8: Zayies baseball, like the crowd pops from a postseason home
- 36:55Speaker 8: run are just dude.
- 36:57Speaker 5: I watched the insane the Dominican Republican Venezuela will Baseball
- 37:00Speaker 5: Classic highlights.
- 37:01Speaker 4: It was poll play time like it was insane.
- 37:06Speaker 8: And that's like the World Baseball Classic goes crazy obviously
- 37:09Speaker 8: because it's countries and yeah, like you know, but the
- 37:13Speaker 8: like World Series and the just to play, like the
- 37:15Speaker 8: the atmosphere in October Baseball it is just like insane,
- 37:20Speaker 8: like it.
- 37:20Speaker 6: It's Fall like Fall Classic for a reason.
- 37:24Speaker 8: The ball flies a little further, every every pitch matters
- 37:27Speaker 8: a little more like it's I love baseball, so I'm
- 37:30Speaker 8: biased for that part.
- 37:31Speaker 5: I think I still think baseball needs to shorten their season. Yes,
- 37:33Speaker 5: every year comes down to like the playoffs, like it
- 37:36Speaker 5: comes down to a singular game, but I feel like
- 37:38Speaker 5: that would have happened no matter how long your season.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 6: The only problem with that is baseball is just so old.
- 37:45Speaker 8: They've been doing it for that way for so long,
- 37:47Speaker 8: and it's just like the players won't let that happen
- 37:50Speaker 8: because it'll change their money. And also I feel the
- 37:53Speaker 8: same way about the NFL adding games, like all the
- 37:55Speaker 8: history books and the records. Yeah, all these great players
- 37:58Speaker 8: that are about to like come to pass in the
- 38:01Speaker 8: future that we don't even know about yet, right, like,
- 38:04Speaker 8: what are their career stats and records like all gonna
- 38:07Speaker 8: look like compared to a dude like Aaron Judge or
- 38:10Speaker 8: do like Alex Rodriguez.
- 38:12Speaker 3: What for Lebron's legacy?
- 38:13Speaker 6: What does this mean for Lebron's legacy?
- 38:15Speaker 8: But I I like I see short end the season,
- 38:18Speaker 8: but I really don't.
- 38:20Speaker 5: And more so, it just sounds like hell as a
- 38:21Speaker 5: baseball player, because I think Bryce said like one hundred
- 38:24Speaker 5: and sixty two games in like one hundred and ninety days.
- 38:27Speaker 3: It is.
- 38:27Speaker 4: It's a lot like eighteen days off in six months, and.
- 38:31Speaker 6: They got like the shortest offseason.
- 38:33Speaker 3: It feels like the four hundred mil I'm in.
- 38:36Speaker 6: I'm just like going to work every day we do that.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I'm going NFL playoffs at number one.
- 38:40Speaker 1: It's the only playoff or sporting event that I've got
- 38:43Speaker 1: to experience.
- 38:44Speaker 2: My team.
- 38:44Speaker 1: The Titans make a run at two away games back
- 38:47Speaker 1: to back, which will forever be one of my favorite
- 38:50Speaker 1: memories as a sports fan, even though we lost the.
- 38:52Speaker 2: AFC Championship to the Chiefs.
- 38:54Speaker 1: And there's something about it now that working with busting
- 38:57Speaker 1: the fact that we get a week off right after
- 38:59Speaker 1: Super Bowl that like psychologically does something to me where
- 39:02Speaker 1: I'm like, man, I love this time of year. My
- 39:05Speaker 1: second will be March Madness, because I mean the first
- 39:07Speaker 1: weekend of March Madness is unbeatable. And I'm actually gonna
- 39:10Speaker 1: be in Vegas next weekend for a buddy's bachelor party
- 39:13Speaker 1: for that with like twenty dudes might go to the Eagles.
- 39:16Speaker 1: We're gonna watch out or hang out, watch ball. It's
- 39:18Speaker 1: gonna be fun. So March Madus two. Number three that
- 39:21Speaker 1: our Shocks hasn't even made a list is the Masters.
- 39:25Speaker 1: The Master's Weekend is Even if you've never watched golf
- 39:28Speaker 1: for more than five minutes in the year, you're tuned
- 39:31Speaker 1: in at some point to the Masters. Some about it
- 39:33Speaker 1: makes you want to get back on the course. It's
- 39:35Speaker 1: coming up here soon. When you see the promos start
- 39:38Speaker 1: going with a Georgia Georgia, I mean you start getting chilled.
- 39:43Speaker 2: So some about that one of those that I want
- 39:46Speaker 2: to make a trip down for really bad, like probably
- 39:48Speaker 2: for a practice round.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Experience the concession food. It's legendary. The cheap prices. Yeah,
- 39:53Speaker 1: just put your phone up for the day, not even
- 39:54Speaker 1: worry about it.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Use one of the phones they have there.
- 39:58Speaker 5: They have like those like pay just like not being
- 40:00Speaker 5: able to use your phone beer and it's.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Like, did you I went two years ago?
- 40:06Speaker 4: Like it's what like a beer is like five bucks Sananches.
- 40:09Speaker 3: The sandwiches are super cheap. I can't remember. The beers
- 40:12Speaker 3: might be normal priced, but all the concessions like pimento
- 40:15Speaker 3: cheese sandwich two dollars.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Yeah, all that.
- 40:18Speaker 3: You know, the merch is so expensive. But you're walking
- 40:21Speaker 3: around at the Masters is one of those experiences. It's
- 40:24Speaker 3: almost like going to the Grand Canyon and seeing the
- 40:26Speaker 3: Grand Canyon for the first time, you're just speechless. It
- 40:29Speaker 3: doesn't feel real. The Masters doesn't feel real. It's so
- 40:33Speaker 3: well kept and it's so big. You're like cutting across
- 40:36Speaker 3: whole number one and with the whole crowding, you just
- 40:40Speaker 3: look to the left and look to the right. You
- 40:42Speaker 3: do feel like you're not even in a You definitely
- 40:45Speaker 3: don't feel like you're in Augusta, Georgia because for those
- 40:47Speaker 3: of I have been that have not been to Augusta, Georgia,
- 40:50Speaker 3: it's almost a nothing city. Yeah, and to have all
- 40:54Speaker 3: of just that golf oasis right in the middle of it,
- 40:56Speaker 3: it's too pure. Hopefully it can go again, but it's
- 41:00Speaker 3: definitely worth.
- 41:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I would. I would love to go. I've had,
- 41:03Speaker 5: like you've gone to a practice around. I've had a
- 41:04Speaker 5: couple buddies good.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to Saturday oh, which was fun. Now,
- 41:11Speaker 3: but I will say I think practice rounds might be
- 41:13Speaker 3: better because everything is way more relaxed. I've never been
- 41:16Speaker 3: to him, but.
- 41:17Speaker 2: The golfers are like interacting more.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard the tensions that as big. Also an
- 41:22Speaker 1: honorable mention before we kind of close this one out.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I got to hear Derek's too.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well, Derek I is, and I feel like we
- 41:28Speaker 1: would all agree with this. He's either a summer or
- 41:30Speaker 1: winter Olympics. I don't know if that's in this mold. Yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 1: and I would love to know if we're summer or
- 41:35Speaker 1: Olympic people. But I want to hear from Derek his
- 41:38Speaker 1: top three.
- 41:39Speaker 7: Yeah, it'd be woke up one. I think to your point, JP,
- 41:42Speaker 7: the moments to come out of it are it is
- 41:44Speaker 7: a universal language. Like there's one too with Mario Gutse
- 41:47Speaker 7: when they're subbing him in in like the one hundred
- 41:49Speaker 7: and eleventh minute in double overtime and he says, go
- 41:51Speaker 7: win this for your country, and he subbed on in
- 41:53Speaker 7: one and it's just cool. Two would be NFL playoffs.
- 41:57Speaker 7: I've been blessed with some runs nineteen years ago that
- 41:59Speaker 7: were really good, and so we're happy about that.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Uh.
- 42:02Speaker 7: Another one that's interesting is Champions League. Like Champions League
- 42:05Speaker 7: is the World Cup, but equivalent of soccer clubs, And
- 42:08Speaker 7: so it turns out there but three dejects. One is
- 42:10Speaker 7: Masters because it's like I don't watch golf a ton,
- 42:13Speaker 7: but watching the same course and the same shots. Oh
- 42:15Speaker 7: he hit it there. Phil did that thirteen years ago
- 42:18Speaker 7: and needs to.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Say the corner is just gonna kill some people.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Beautiful.
- 42:21Speaker 7: I used my entire family plans data one time just
- 42:24Speaker 7: watching the Masters in a two day span because it right.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Thank you, yeah for an American.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Now to close it out, we can choose.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Our summer Winter Olympics.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm I'll start since I proposed it, and it
- 42:38Speaker 1: is very tough because I love snowboarding so much, and
- 42:41Speaker 1: especially this past Winter Olympics, it felt like bigger than
- 42:44Speaker 1: it ever has on, just like such as big scale
- 42:47Speaker 1: and everyone was super tuned in. But I'm gonna have
- 42:49Speaker 1: to go summer because there's nothing like watching the swimming
- 42:52Speaker 1: and the running and I something about it just feels
- 42:54Speaker 1: more pure to me and like winners, like all right,
- 42:56Speaker 1: we're gonna throw this in so we can give you
- 42:58Speaker 1: guys a two year break and like so we don't
- 43:00Speaker 1: have to wait a whole like election cycle to see
- 43:02Speaker 1: the next races.
- 43:04Speaker 2: But that's where I'm at. I'm a summer Olympics guy.
- 43:06Speaker 3: I will also go summer and I can just chop
- 43:09Speaker 3: it up right to the or chalk it up to
- 43:12Speaker 3: the track events. I love everything else but track. I
- 43:15Speaker 3: feel like it's the first thing as human beings that
- 43:18Speaker 3: we ever compete in, right, just in our everyday life.
- 43:21Speaker 3: It's a race. The first thing you ever competed in
- 43:23Speaker 3: was a race against somebody. Yeah, And there's just something
- 43:28Speaker 3: about that feeling being the fastest.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and to.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Get to watch we're the fastest.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I bet we all were the fastest at our schools.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Well, talking about from from the jump, you know we
- 43:40Speaker 1: were the fast.
- 43:41Speaker 3: True, we won the first race.
- 43:43Speaker 6: See, I was thinking, like racing a recess like so
- 43:49Speaker 6: JP very clearly is talking about sperm.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Recess.
- 43:53Speaker 6: Yeah, they're both.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Valid, there they are. So I'm gonna go Summer Olympics.
- 44:02Speaker 8: Mine is not even close and mine is like more
- 44:06Speaker 8: tied into the memory of like all the legends from
- 44:08Speaker 8: the Summer Olympics and like, don't get me wrong, Winter Olympics.
- 44:12Speaker 8: Growing up watching Sean White and Apollo Antono, no, like
- 44:16Speaker 8: that was obviously iconic. The Summer Olympics. Just waiting to
- 44:19Speaker 8: see Usain Bolt run or Michael Phelps swim. It's just
- 44:23Speaker 8: like and just like as a kid, I just love
- 44:26Speaker 8: summer more so it's summer break and like the Summer
- 44:30Speaker 8: Olympics and all these legends, So it's summer for me
- 44:33Speaker 8: by far.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I feel like it kind of I don't know
- 44:35Speaker 5: if it's gonna be a clean sweep with Derek, but
- 44:36Speaker 5: summer it truly is like the swimming and the track
- 44:39Speaker 5: and field and then it's like the soccer league football,
- 44:44Speaker 5: but now the flag's in there, I'm gonna be tapped in.
- 44:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna be trying to make the team, but I
- 44:48Speaker 5: don't think I have any shot.
- 44:49Speaker 2: But you're gonna be pretty old by then.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Is it a next Olympics?
- 44:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I look, you got you gotta get on it.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Then I'll be twenty nine, almost thirty prime.
- 45:00Speaker 5: The way the way my athleticism is going, what I
- 45:03Speaker 5: with my age, I feel like that might be my peak.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I'm just trying to motivate you. That's all.
- 45:08Speaker 4: That's what I need.
- 45:09Speaker 6: There's people that's been preparing for that team for years now,
- 45:12Speaker 6: so you gotta.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know how do you get even get
- 45:15Speaker 5: in those crowds? So it is what it is, Derek.
- 45:21Speaker 7: I'm summer as well, but for the reason that, like
- 45:23Speaker 7: every summer event is what I like to do for
- 45:26Speaker 7: fun and so to watch like basketball or swimming or
- 45:29Speaker 7: even running in track and be like, oh, that's why
- 45:31Speaker 7: I can't do it.
- 45:32Speaker 4: Winter.
- 45:33Speaker 7: I can't snow, I can't skateboard, I can I can
- 45:35Speaker 7: ice skate, but I can play hockey. So summer being
- 45:37Speaker 7: obtainable and then being like, oh, it's not obtainable at
- 45:40Speaker 7: all made it my favorite.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 3: When I when I was working at IMG this is
- 45:44Speaker 3: Summer Olympic story, there was this guy that was trained
- 45:47Speaker 3: and obviously he was a track dude. I started talking
- 45:50Speaker 3: it up with him a little bit. I'm asking him, Oh,
- 45:52Speaker 3: where are you from. I'm from tradad and Tobago. Uh
- 45:56Speaker 3: you know, what what events do you do?
- 45:58Speaker 4: I do?
- 45:58Speaker 3: You know the one hundred meter in the two hundred meter.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I was like, oh, snap, have you ever been to
- 46:02Speaker 3: the Olympics. He's like yeah, three times. I was like,
- 46:05Speaker 3: oh dang, and this was so this was in twenty nineteen.
- 46:08Speaker 3: So I was like, which Olympics twenty two thousand and eight,
- 46:12Speaker 3: twenty twelve, twenty sixteen, did you have a favorite? Which
- 46:17Speaker 3: one was your favorite?
- 46:18Speaker 4: Well?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Probably the I think it was a twenty twelve one.
- 46:23Speaker 3: And he was like. I was like, oh, you know,
- 46:25Speaker 3: how'd you do? You ever get a medal? He's like, yeah,
- 46:27Speaker 3: I got silver. And I was like, you see in
- 46:30Speaker 3: the one hundred meter. It's like, so you were you
- 46:32Speaker 3: raced you sain Bolt? He was like yeah I did.
- 46:36Speaker 3: And you see how you don't know my name? I'm
- 46:38Speaker 3: thinking wow. He was like a lot of people say
- 46:41Speaker 3: he's like you know, or I like to say, I'm
- 46:43Speaker 3: the fat I was the fastest man from Earth in
- 46:47Speaker 3: twenty twelve because you say bold, there's no way he's
- 46:49Speaker 3: from this planet. And I'm like, dude, that and that
- 46:52Speaker 3: is just the testament to track of it being like
- 46:56Speaker 3: you're leader. You're either you sain Bolt or you're my guy.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Richard Thompson, who's was the second fastest man in the
- 47:01Speaker 3: world would have won gold in any other Olympics. But
- 47:04Speaker 3: because he's going against Usain Bolt in his peak, we
- 47:07Speaker 3: barely know who he is and he actually coaches and
- 47:11Speaker 3: coaches ant teachers at IMG Now amazing. Guy couldn't have
- 47:15Speaker 3: a better attitude. But I was just thinking, wow, man,
- 47:17Speaker 3: like this is the margins in track.
- 47:19Speaker 5: Is Usain Bolt like the perfect name for like his sport? Yes,
- 47:25Speaker 5: I think of like any sport ever, like baseball, Like he.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Has the first run in recess that he was gonna
- 47:31Speaker 1: be the fastest kid too with that name you grow up.
- 47:34Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean with the name of like Bolt, like
- 47:38Speaker 5: you have to be fast. And it's like you saying,
- 47:40Speaker 5: like I call him insane Bolt.
- 47:42Speaker 2: But because she's insane, it is there.
- 47:46Speaker 4: I know I'm really cooking.
- 47:50Speaker 3: All right, like end some episode on some laughs.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the time?
- 47:54Speaker 3: Add fifty seven eight boom perfect.

- 48:14Speaker 5: Now that we're saying it, they're gonna go back and
- 48:16Speaker 5: be like, yeah, that was actually kind of shit, but
- 48:17Speaker 5: that was completely on me for man same bolt Well
