- 0:00Speaker 1: Thanks thinks that must go on the radio.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Let's see things that must go. Well, we have got
- 0:13Speaker 2: a whole list of things here. People send these to us.
- 0:16Speaker 2: There are things that are bugging them, things that must go.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Get them out of our lives. If you've got to complaint,
- 0:22Speaker 2: If you've got a thing that must go, send it
- 0:23Speaker 2: to radio from Hell at x ninety six dot com.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Put must go on the subject line. If we read
- 0:28Speaker 2: it on the air, it might give you some relief,
- 0:30Speaker 2: it might make you feel better. And sometimes we are
- 0:32Speaker 2: told these things magically disappear from people's lives when we
- 0:36Speaker 2: read them. So I hope this works. For this first one,
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'll start. My name is Benjamin. My thing that must
- 0:44Speaker 2: go is my cancer. Actually I'm probably having surgery right now,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and we'll have to listen to this as a podcast.
- 0:52Speaker 2: My real must go is the god awful anxiety dreams
- 0:56Speaker 2: that I've been having ever since I had my diagnosis.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Please help, Benjamin, Benjamin, Benjamin, I hope this helps. I
- 1:04Speaker 2: hope maybe the magic will occur. Good luck on your surgery.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Let's see this one, says Timbo here from Bellingham, Washington.
- 1:14Speaker 2: My thing that must go are people who don't know
- 1:15Speaker 2: what they want to order when they get to the counter,
- 1:18Speaker 2: despite having waited in line for over five minutes. I
- 1:22Speaker 2: was recently at my favorite donut shop, the Blueberry Fritters
- 1:25Speaker 2: are to die for, and there were several people in
- 1:29Speaker 2: front of me, including a dad and his young daughter.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Having waited in line for over five minutes. You would
- 1:34Speaker 2: have figured they knew what they wanted, but no, they
- 1:37Speaker 2: took another two minutes or so to order their six donuts.
- 1:41Speaker 2: It's like the person who still writes checks and then
- 1:44Speaker 2: waits for the groceries and to be all wrung up
- 1:47Speaker 2: before they even start to take their check put a count.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You don't see that very much anymore, but I saw
- 1:55Speaker 2: it recently, an older woman, and there she was all
- 1:58Speaker 2: rung up and she took her check book out. Now
- 2:01Speaker 2: what is it again? This one says, please do not
- 2:04Speaker 2: use my name or email. Hi. My last email was
- 2:07Speaker 2: too long and convoluted. Sorry, I'll be more concise today.
- 2:10Speaker 2: In the inspiring spirit of Bill's Relentless must goes about
- 2:13Speaker 2: Hoda and Kathy Lee, which worked. I'm resubmitting this because
- 2:18Speaker 2: the ORUM disorganization is rotten. Over the past few years,
- 2:22Speaker 2: about forty percent of ORUM Library staff has left. Some
- 2:25Speaker 2: moved on to libraries that pay better, some have more respect.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Others retired or resigned or were fired. The exodus started
- 2:35Speaker 2: when the former library director abruptly retired many years too early.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's a tricky move. The mayor replaced the position with
- 2:42Speaker 2: a new director of leisure. Now the library is lumped
- 2:48Speaker 2: in with the recreation center under this bizarre umbrella. Yes,
- 2:52Speaker 2: the library is now a leisure center. This bureaucratic nonsense
- 2:56Speaker 2: must go. The the Department of Libraries. Lackey, a micromanaging
- 3:04Speaker 2: knit wid rules like a mini dictator and surrounds herself
- 3:07Speaker 2: with unquestioning yes people. She must go. And finally, local
- 3:11Speaker 2: government and business is taking organizational cues from shiny soulis
- 3:15Speaker 2: Trump must go. This approach is hurting institutions, services, and
- 3:19Speaker 2: real people. Thanks for letting me listen invent Kerry.
- 3:22Speaker 3: All right.
- 3:24Speaker 4: First one from me. Things that must go is the restaurants.
- 3:29Speaker 4: When you go in and there's the podium for the.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Host or hostess.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and the podium never has a place for you
- 3:35Speaker 4: to be able to sign your check. When you do
- 3:38Speaker 4: the takeout, there's no place to oh yeah, put it
- 3:41Speaker 4: down to sign it and figure out the tip and everything.
- 3:44Speaker 4: The podium is built so that you can't do that.
- 3:47Speaker 4: How am I going to fill this out and tip you?
- 3:50Speaker 2: There is no place to rest my check.
- 3:53Speaker 4: And this one from Sue jump rope must go when
- 3:57Speaker 4: you hit yourself with the rope well jump roping. Also
- 4:02Speaker 4: not being able to wear my hair in a ponytail
- 4:04Speaker 4: when I jump rope.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Because it gets caught in the rope A tough problem. Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 4: This one from Tony Dan eating a fresh five inch
- 4:13Speaker 4: jalapeno pepper after the Volebeat concert must go. It was
- 4:18Speaker 4: way too spicy for him. His face was flush red
- 4:21Speaker 4: for an hour.
- 4:22Speaker 1: The absence of frosted flakes tent.
- 4:24Speaker 4: On the second day of VIT alert, there was a
- 4:27Speaker 4: frosted flakes tent and on Friday when I was there,
- 4:30Speaker 4: they were giving away those small boxes of frosted flakes.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I wanted to stuff some boxes in the radio from
- 4:36Speaker 4: hell bag I got from carry on the first day.
- 4:38Speaker 4: So you should have just went right over like I
- 4:41Speaker 4: told you, that's gotten some frosted flakes. Also, Nathan Fillian's
- 4:46Speaker 4: bowl cut in as the green lantern in the Superman
- 4:48Speaker 4: movie must go. It's chunky and unflattering. No, I'm sorry,
- 4:51Speaker 4: that's the that's the character's look. Guy Gardner, the green lantern,
- 4:54Speaker 4: that's his look.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Good morning friends.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Feel free to use my name, It's Megan.
- 5:00Speaker 4: My thing that must go is people filing HR complaints
- 5:03Speaker 4: about not getting a fair interview. Guys, the person that
- 5:07Speaker 4: complained did not qualify for an interview. I did not
- 5:10Speaker 4: interview this person at all.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I had met with them.
- 5:13Speaker 4: They had requested a chat while I was on PTO
- 5:16Speaker 4: because it was the only time that they could also meet,
- 5:19Speaker 4: and I'm nice, damn it, to tell them more about
- 5:22Speaker 4: my team and what we do. Apparently this person thought
- 5:24Speaker 4: that that was the interview and was upset I didn't
- 5:27Speaker 4: ask them questions about themselves.
- 5:30Speaker 2: This one from Elizabrarian.
- 5:32Speaker 4: People that approach employees of any public government entity and say,
- 5:37Speaker 4: I pay taxes, you work for me, shorthand do what
- 5:41Speaker 4: I want.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I don't care about your rules or policies.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Okay. And this one from Alexa. People who walk in
- 5:49Speaker 4: the street in my neighborhood well maintained sidewalks, yet everyone
- 5:54Speaker 4: walks in the road.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I wonder why I see people doing that. I
- 5:58Speaker 2: wonder why. Yeah, I don't know. Uh nick uh.
- 6:03Speaker 3: This one first from kristin my first must go is
- 6:07Speaker 3: more of a request than I must go. But I
- 6:09Speaker 3: hope no one gloats about Ozzie's passing. I believe he's
- 6:13Speaker 3: on Katie's deadpool list.
- 6:14Speaker 2: He was.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Please give him the respect he deserves. I'm sure you will.
- 6:18Speaker 1: He meant the world to many of us.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Also, what must go is not knowing where the hell
- 6:22Speaker 3: Larry from Ogden is.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'm worried about him and I miss his check ins.
- 6:27Speaker 3: One last one, when people say six am in the
- 6:29Speaker 3: morning or seven pm in the evening, we get it.
- 6:32Speaker 3: The AMPM park kind of covers that, Yes, that's all
- 6:35Speaker 3: for now, thank you, and I love you all.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Thank you, Kristen.
- 6:38Speaker 3: This one from doesn't say I can use the name,
- 6:40Speaker 3: so I won't. The fact that I am not a
- 6:42Speaker 3: trust from baby two. The fact that I am not
- 6:45Speaker 3: independently wealthy. Three the fact I must work to pay
- 6:49Speaker 3: for food and shelter for the fact I also must
- 6:53Speaker 3: work to pay for the food and shelter of my
- 6:55Speaker 3: offspring and animals.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Five.
- 6:58Speaker 1: The fact that although I am surrounded by.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Multiple animals, none of them clean my house and help
- 7:03Speaker 3: with chores like the Disney Movies implied they would. And
- 7:06Speaker 3: finally six the fact that I am overworked and underpaid.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Thanks for letting me bitch. This one from doesn't say
- 7:13Speaker 1: I can use the names, so I won't.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Curtains sold individually must instead of a pair must go.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Oh besides a shower, why would anyone have just as
- 7:23Speaker 3: single curtain panels?
- 7:24Speaker 1: You gotta do what I do and have your mother
- 7:26Speaker 1: in law make the curtains for you.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Beach towels made of cheap polyester that don't absorb water
- 7:32Speaker 3: but do hang on to every grain of sand must go.
- 7:36Speaker 3: And stores that put away the swimsuits mid July. And
- 7:40Speaker 3: finally this one, please don't use my name? My job
- 7:44Speaker 3: must go. Each day there is more things that happen
- 7:47Speaker 3: that show me it's an accident waiting to happen. So
- 7:50Speaker 3: glad I put in my resignation this last week.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 7:57Speaker 2: That must go on the Ray from Hell Show
