- 1:08Matter, Part three and Part four from Hollywood. It's time now for Johnny
- 1:18Dollar. Hello Dollar, you than miss a Dollar that's been trying to phone
- 1:23me. Is this doctor big Bean? That's exactly who it is, and
- 1:26I'm very busy right look, doctor Bigbe, I want you to come out
- 1:29here just as soon as possible. It's the old Cronan summer place, about
- 1:32five miles up the river from where I know where it is. I know
- 1:34what are you doing up there? Years missus Cronan opened it up for a
- 1:40party this weekend, but she was taking In on the train coming up,
- 1:42and I want Tony out there. Yeah, she's the one I want you
- 1:44to look at. So she's back after all these years, she's coming back.
- 1:48She had a prescription from our doctor in New York, but she's taken
- 1:51the last of it. It's apparently her heart. I'm sorry, it's a
- 1:53dollar. I'm very busy tonight. What much too busy than Niss's torm coming
- 1:57up? And I have a patient someplace. I think. Now, wait
- 2:00a second. If you're a friend of Dolly's missus Cronin's, do one thing.
- 2:06Take her back to New York now tonight. Get her out of it
- 2:09here fast before it's too late. Tonight and every weekday night. Bob Bailey
- 2:22in the Transcribed Adventures of the Man with the Action Packed Expense a goud America's
- 2:25Fabulous Freelance Insurance Investigator, Yours Truley Johnny Dollar from Special Investigator Johnny Dollar at
- 2:39Wells Falls, New York to the home office Shorty Mutual and Trust Company,
- 2:43Hartford, Connecticut, assignment the Kronin Matter a half million dollar necklace expense account
- 2:47continue. I'm seven five dollars and forty cents TAXI. I figured i'd find
- 2:54doctor Bigbie in one of the local pubs, but I covered them all in
- 2:58about thirty minutes. No sale, and unfortunately Bigbie was the only doctor in
- 3:01Wells Falls. Worse, the local druggist couldn't fill Missus Cronin's prescription. The
- 3:07nearest chance was Tupper Lake, twenty five miles away. Back out at the
- 3:13Cronin place, I turned the taxi over to Jason prel Missus Cronin's business advisor,
- 3:16and he took off for Tupper Lake to look for the medicine. Then
- 3:20I went looking for Missus Atherton, a village woman who had been housekeeping on
- 3:23the estate since the place was built. I found her in the kitchen,
- 3:28storms brewing up coming out of the mountains. It'll hit us four morning.
- 3:32They always come in the night. I guess you've seen a lot of storms
- 3:36in these hills. Missus Atherington live here all my life, never been out
- 3:38of them. It's miss Atherton, not missus. Oh, she's the missus
- 3:45up in the bed, even if she is a widow, little dolly,
- 3:50Missus Cronin. Till death do us part? Did you know Barnaby Cronin,
- 3:54Miss Atherington? Yes, I knew him, of course I knew him.
- 3:59I worked here. Oh, yes, you were here then. What kind
- 4:02of a man was he? Like any other man? And according to Dolly
- 4:08missus Cronin, she apparently worshiped him, still does. In fact, Dolly's
- 4:12always worshiping something. Everybody was always worshiping her. She had us all dancing
- 4:17to her tune and without even trying. You know her back then she was
- 4:21born and raised here in the village. I thought everybody knew that. No,
- 4:26that's when I missed who. He used to work together waiting tables at
- 4:30the summer hotels around here. That's where Jason Prell saw her, told her
- 4:35she ought to be on Broadway. She left the town the next week,
- 4:40didn't come back again till after she and Barnaby was married, and she got
- 4:45him to spend a fortune to build this place for her. Well, I
- 4:47guess he had the fortune to spend. Oh yes, she married well,
- 4:51count on Dolly for that. Always got whatever she wanted and never even had
- 4:57to ask. Things were just given to her always. Yeah, probably so.
- 5:01But she's been pretty generous herself, like keeping you on here, for
- 5:05instance, when the house has been closed up for years, with nobody using
- 5:09it. Oh she's the dancing darling, all right, right to the end.
- 5:14Well, I feel excuse there was something else I wanted to ask you,
- 5:16Miss Atherton. I'm not one to talk ordinarily, but you got me
- 5:19started. This is not about missus Cronan, at least not directly. She
- 5:23was taken hill on the train. I don't think it's serious, but I
- 5:26wanted a doctor to look her over her The only one in the village seems
- 5:29to be a man by the name of big Bee b. He's the coroner
- 5:33here, but he's not a doctor. No, no, not anymore.
- 5:36Still calls himself one, but he lost his license ten years ago. He's
- 5:42a drunken sot. Yeah, I kind of figured, but he sobered up
- 5:46fast. When I told him on the phone that the patient was Missus Cronin.
- 5:48He refused to come out, told me to get her away from here
- 5:50fast, and then he hung up on me. Forget him. He couldn't
- 5:55do her any good, But I'd like to know why he acted that way.
- 5:59Do you happen to know any reason? Bigbie is a drunk who knows
- 6:02what his reasons are. I thought you might better ask him what difference does
- 6:11it make anyway. He can't help her, nobody can. What do you
- 6:14mean she's come back finally for the first time in all these years, took
- 6:19sick on the train. That wasn't any surprise to her. She knew it
- 6:24was going to happen. Well, I guess she halfway knew. She knew.
- 6:29It's like with an animal when it's hurt or sick and it comes home
- 6:31to die. And that's what she's done. She's come home to die.
- 6:35No, I think you're wrong there, Miss Everton. I don't think she's
- 6:39anywhere near that sick Barnaby didn't think so either. When he came back here
- 6:44to die. Barnaby died here, Yes, in this very house. A
- 6:50heart attack, it was called. He came up on the afternoon train,
- 6:55and that's range. There was the same kind of night, a storm like
- 7:03tonight. Strange how things moved and patterns. Were you here with him,
- 7:10Miss Athington. Barnaby died alone and the doctor, big b Miss Athton was
- 7:19the doctor. I'm sorry I was thinking the bridges were washed out. Bigby
- 7:28didn't get here the next morning. Wouldn't have mattered. He couldn't have done
- 7:32anything. Nobody could have when it's time for a thing to be done.
- 7:38It's done. Nobody can stop it. Nobody. It was a strange,
- 7:46ominous and oppressive, with a feel of violence in the air. Even the
- 7:51house itself added to the feeling, furnish lavishly in the style thirty years forgotten.
- 7:58It seemed garish, now old and tired and lonesome, like missus Cronin
- 8:03herself, who'd planned a grand party for all her old friends and instead lay
- 8:07ill and alone in the bedroom upstairs. The Queen gave a party and nobody
- 8:13came, all dressed up, no place to go, Yeah bloom evening.
- 8:18Jason Prell came back from Tupper Lake with a medicine. Miss Affordan served at
- 8:24dinner of sorts, served it in silence, and we were left to our
- 8:26own devices. Five guests and a mansion built for a hundred prel stayed pretty
- 8:33much to himself, lovely Laura Deane with that air of knowing innocence, and
- 8:37viggled a shorty Weather into teaching her some of his old dance routines. And
- 8:41they cranked up an old phonograph in the music room, and me I just
- 8:45stood at an open window and watched the rain come down and tried to think.
- 8:50That's the perfect touch. It's exactly what the evening needed. And music,
- 8:54Ah, Sylvia, really cornball, isn't it? No? No,
- 8:58Johnny, I I meant the thunderstorm, an isolated old mansion, fabulous necklace
- 9:03of diamonds and emeralds, weird housekeeper, a hostess lying ill, and now
- 9:09rain shades of the house of Usher. That'll make a good lead for your
- 9:13magazine story. I should have stayed in New York and just written it,
- 9:16not lived it. Oh, I thought you were the big take a chance
- 9:20girl, Miss Blake. Danger and mystery adventure. Don't those things appeal to
- 9:24you? Maybe? Is there any of that lying around somewhere there? Maybe
- 9:28before the night's ower. All I can see at the moment is sheer boredom.
- 9:31You have to know how to look the bottom of that scotch glass,
- 9:35for instance, just coming time. Oh, I've been wanting to ask you,
- 9:41Johnny, how'd you get that cut on your head. It's a long
- 9:46story. It happened on the train. I know that you didn't have it
- 9:48when we left a sudden stop. I fell over my suit. Kiss,
- 9:52Sure you did backwards. It's on the back of your head. Somebody made
- 9:58a try for it, didn't they on the train come up? Well,
- 10:00I don't know what they were trying for. I wasn't tying away. Maybe
- 10:03they even got it. That's the way you're betting. Wasn't it that it
- 10:05wouldn't be just an attempt that somebody was going to get it and get away
- 10:09with her? Did they? Is that what happened? Is it gone?
- 10:15All right? Just stand there and grin then, O Rain, I'm going
- 10:20back to the city tomorrow. You are well. Don't smother me with your
- 10:24pleading. Stick around Sylvia. Things may get better, including the music,
- 10:31you know. In a way, I hope somebody did get the circle of
- 10:35Fire. Why what good is that fabulous necklace doing her now? Lying up
- 10:39there? She's had everything she ever wanted. Life's been too easy on her.
- 10:43She doesn't deserve it. She ought to lose it, her life or
- 10:46the necklace. The necklace, of course, you know, for reasons I
- 10:50can't go into. I think you'll be sorry you said that some days.
- 10:52Sorry. Why she's a woman who's at everything. You're pretty predator, aren't
- 10:56you hurting a phrase? Am I I feel something big may have passed you
- 10:58by and put up that tight bright front for protection. But inside your time
- 11:03of nuts and what is your recommendation? Doctor? A man? Perhaps that's
- 11:07the usual advice you said it. I didn't. Well you're a man,
- 11:09Johnny. Why don't you smooch with me? Be a way of passing the
- 11:13evening killing time? All right? What are you Johnny Wade? Johnny what?
- 11:24Why did you do it? Because you wanted me to? And because
- 11:28I wanted to adventure mystery danger? Who's bored? Who's going back to the
- 11:37city? Those doctors are right? What's the dollar? Could I talk to
- 11:48you for a minute? Why not? Surety? What's on your mind?
- 11:50I don't know exactly why you call assault to get her? And it was
- 11:54missus Cronin's idea. She set it up with me earlier. Well, I
- 11:56ain't gonn nothing to do with what I wanted to say. You've seen me
- 11:58in a bad light they yesterday or Dolly's apartment. Wow, Well you found
- 12:01a gun and me you know about my record, and made it look better.
- 12:05I know it did, But so help me, mister Dollar. Everything
- 12:09I told you was the gospel truth. Yeah, I'd break my arm before
- 12:11I do anything to harm Dolly in the least bit. You see, I've
- 12:16been in love with a woman for eighty five years, liked to broken heart
- 12:18when she married Barnaby, but I always know it didn't have no chance right
- 12:24from the start. She was up there big. Somebody me it was a
- 12:28nobody, but I'd still die for any time. That's all, mister Dollar.
- 12:33I just wanted you to know. They were all there gathering around the
- 12:39big dining table, watching me and waiting. Missus Crowlin had asked me to
- 12:43arrange it. She said that was the main reason they'd come, and she
- 12:46didn't want to disappoint them. I told them that, and then I took
- 12:50the circle of Fire from my pocket and laid it on the table. They
- 12:54all reacted in different ways. Laura Deane gave a gasp and her eyes open
- 12:58wide, and Sylvia look at it, just look as Sylvia Blake was fascinated
- 13:03hypnotize. Yeah, you should have seen an Anna Beck in the old days.
- 13:07It sparkled even twice as much. So that's what this is all about.
- 13:11It so only Jillry I've seen it. But there was one special reaction
- 13:13I was looking for, and I got it. Jason Prell's face went white.
- 13:18I could imagine anything so beautiful, mister Prell, you seem surprised.
- 13:22I wasn't carrying the necklace in its case, the case you stole from me
- 13:26on the train. I was carrying it loose in my pocket. What did
- 13:31you do? Throw the case off the train without even bothering. I went
- 13:35after him, but he'd already disappeared somewhere down the hall. He knew the
- 13:39layout of the house and I didn't. I searched the different rooms quickly as
- 13:43I passed, but there was no sign up. He couldn't have reached the
- 13:46floors above, but he might have gone down toward the game Roman lower halls.
- 13:48I eased my gun from its holster and started slowly down the stairs,
- 13:54and at that moment every light in the house went out. Johnny Dollar,
- 14:16Hello, Sheriff. I can't hear for the storm. We were cut off
- 14:20before. Hello, Is that you, Sheriff? I said, Hello?
- 14:28Get cut off again, mister Dollar. Not this time, shorty. Somebody
- 14:31cut the wire. The phone's dead. Then we've got no way getting wet
- 14:35out, no way getting out, No, not at the moment. And
- 14:37he's out there in the duck somewhere. He's got a gun and it's no
- 14:39told him, what do you make get away? When I went off?
- 14:45Wow, we know where he is now and what he intends because he just
- 14:48made a try at it. The only thing I can do, Shorty,
- 14:52go get him before he gets me. Tonight and every weekday Night Bob Bailey

- 15:31a half million dollar necklace expense account continued. Item ten, one hundred and
- 15:37thirty five dollars one tweet sport jacket to be purchased on my return, both
- 15:43lapels and one shoulder ripped by a bullet. Also one pair of slacks to
- 15:46match destroyed a few minutes later in the mud, slush and underbrush and the
- 15:50grounds of the Cronan place while pursuing a suspect who had already tried twice to
- 15:54kill me and who made a third go at it when I stepped out of
- 15:56the side door of the house. I'll wait from the door. Quick boy.
- 16:06You could see the door opening, but he can't see us. Not
- 16:07in this miss He's desperate, he's shooting blind. Look, shorty, why
- 16:15don't you go on back in the house. There's no reason for you taking
- 16:17chance. It's like this, you're taking him with me. It's a job
- 16:18of work. I get paid for it. I told you earlier. I
- 16:22know about Dully. I mean, I don't know what Jason Prole's game is,
- 16:25Missa Dolla, but if it's against her, then I'm against him.
- 16:27I'm streamed, all right, it's up to you. Thanks for giving me
- 16:30the gunpack emergency, that's all. You've got a prison record, shorty.
- 16:33You know what it means if you're caught with a gun. Yeah good,
- 16:40I figured Prelad give himself away. If he kept that up. I got
- 16:41him spotted now at the base of that tall pine a little to the left.
- 16:45Watch for it. The next flash you're lightning day. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:49no, I see it. I know that. When you mean,
- 16:52then stay here and keep him pinned down. It's a good spot. You've
- 16:55got cover from the wall of the terrace there. What are you going to
- 16:56circle? Around and come up easide him. Just throw us shout at the
- 17:00base of that pine tree now and keep'em tied down, keep'em busy.
- 17:02He got it right, and good luck. I left the shelter of
- 17:08the house and started edging through the shrubbery. The undergrowth was a regular jungle.
- 17:12It would have been impossible to slip up on Pearl without his hearing if
- 17:15it hadn't been for the storm. Shorty Webber fired now and then of the
- 17:18pine tree, and twice Peil fired and answering. Jason prel so called friend
- 17:25of old Missus Cronin knew I had him tagged at first. I'd been guessing
- 17:27mainly, but he didn't know it. And he lost his head and made
- 17:30the guests prove out. And now he was apparently ready to risk murder or
- 17:33death rather than face a prison term. I was within thirty feet him.
- 17:38He hadn't heard a sound. He was still firing it. Shorty over on
- 17:41the terrace. His back was turned partly toward me. He didn't know I
- 17:44was near, so I leveled my gun. Get your hands up, Pearl,
- 17:47drop that gun. You cover it. He quarreled, peering into the
- 17:51darkness of the Bush was trying to see me. He knew I was close,
- 17:52but he couldn't tell where. He raised his gun started to turn,
- 17:56and I'm not quite certain what happened next. The light was bad and I
- 18:00could hardly see him. Whether he stumbled accidentally or or what is something I'll
- 18:03never know. All I know is that when I walked over to him,
- 18:08he was dead. There was no good list a dollar. I always thought
- 18:17so, but Dolly swore by me and her fool What about Barnaby, her
- 18:21husband? He couldn't stay in pull at first? Lady, they got a
- 18:23tickets teaves. Yeah, well it's a mess, shorty, a real mess.
- 18:27All things that should have stayed dead and buried on the bottom, they're
- 18:30all coming to the surface. Now tell me something, list a dollar?
- 18:33Yeah? What about Dolly? Is this thing when a kick back on?
- 18:37Huh? Will she get hurt by it? Yeah? Surely, I am
- 18:40afraid she will, pretty badly. It was deep into the night, edging
- 18:48toward dawn. When I got back to the house, I changed out of
- 18:52my wet clothes, went to the game room and got Dolly's necklace from under
- 18:55a chair cushion. I'd stuck it there when Pearl had pulled the main switch
- 18:57and put the lights out. Then I went upstairs to look in on Dli
- 19:02chronin quietly, just a check. But it didn't work out that way.
- 19:08Johnny, Is that you? Yeah, I didn't mean to wake you.
- 19:14You didn't. I've been awake most of the night. Morning, Johnny,
- 19:18all right, how you feeling just fine? There's nothing wrong with me.
- 19:27I feel fine good. It's Laura Deane, a nice girl. Huh,
- 19:33yes she is, and I'm glad she came company for you. Johnny.
- 19:38Oh, yeah, quite a storm we had, wasn't it. It was
- 19:42beautiful, all that lightning, wind, thunder. Oh. I haven't seen
- 19:48such a beautiful storm since I was a little Johnny thought. I heard shots
- 19:55a while ago, shots outdoors after the woods where one might have been a
- 20:02lightning thunder sounded like a gun, like somebody shooting. Well, sound plays
- 20:07funny tricks up here in the mountains, I guess so. But well,
- 20:14I've been thinking back over the past so much that makes the president a little
- 20:18unreal. I'm afraid the past it's about all I have left now. I
- 20:23don't be so quick to sell this future of your short You've got a lot
- 20:26of years yet good years. I had a lot of good years, good
- 20:33friends, good times, a good life. The best of all was bound
- 20:40Toby. You loved him very much, didn't you, missus Cronnin. I
- 20:45wish him. He was perfect, never did a wrong thing in his life.
- 20:52Now that he's gone, is the one fine memory I always cling to.
- 21:00I didn't have that there. I just couldn't go on. Well,
- 21:06then let's hope you never lose that memory. Of course, there were other
- 21:11good friends too over the years, like Jason Prell. He is so quiet
- 21:18and withdrawn. It takes a long time to get to know him. There's
- 21:23been such a good friend to me. It's a patient with all this silly
- 21:29ignorance of mine about business problems. Yes, I'm sure he has. I
- 21:33just don't know what I do without him. Yeah, Now, don't you
- 21:38think you'd better get some sleep in a little while? No journey, It's
- 21:45funny. I think it's worked out in one way. I was born and
- 21:49grew up right here in this village. Yes, your housekeeper, Miss Evden,
- 21:55told me that two of you were girls together. They were inseparable.
- 21:59Black said, I grew up here and then I went away Barnaby, and
- 22:04I came back and built this house, and we went away again. We're
- 22:11always so many places to go, new things to do. It's a big
- 22:15world, isn't it. And finally Barnaby came back the last time and died
- 22:22here all alone, poor boy. And now I've come back place where I
- 22:30was born. Everything finally comes home, doesn't it, Johnny, Yes,
- 22:41really always. I'm very tired. I think I will sleep now. Be
- 22:48good for you. The necklace, Johnny, do you have it with you?
- 22:51I sure do. You are so beautiful and so many memories, oh
- 23:00so long ago. Put it on me, will do Johnny? Of course?
- 23:07Reason now just a love? Yeah? How do I look sweet enough
- 23:15to kiss? Well? Nice? You gotta sleep now, yes, sir.
- 23:23I'll only look at the necklace for one minute only. Then I'll take
- 23:29my pills and go to sleep. Then I'll dream up a dream, a
- 23:34great big dream. Good night, dancing, darling. It's been a long
- 23:45time since anyone called me that, A long long time. Good night,
- 23:52Johnny, thank you. I left joun one downstairs and rustle myself a pot
- 24:00of coffee. I sat down by a nice window and drank a cup after
- 24:04cup and watched the morning sun come up dream a big dream. Well before
- 24:11many more hours, she was going to need a big dream. There was
- 24:14no way of keeping it from her. All of it, the fact that
- 24:15Jason Prell was dead shot, that he'd attempted murder and tried to steal on
- 24:19necklace, and worst of all, that her beloved Barnaby had probably been as
- 24:23big a crook as prel Is it all right? If a girl who can't
- 24:30sleeps, is this one out with you? Sure? Pull up a chair,
- 24:33Laura, like some coffee, just black? Thank you. I guess
- 24:38it wouldn't do much good to ask you what's been going on around here all
- 24:41night? Something als like I said. I guess it wouldn't do much good.
- 24:45Here's your coffee. Thanks. That's how I found you, Just followed
- 24:49the smell of this coffee. Good. I guess if I said I heard
- 24:55somebody shooting up the place during the storm, you just say really never used
- 24:59the word. And I guess if I showed you that broken window over there,
- 25:02you'd say, maybe a pigeon flew in. Might if I happen to
- 25:03think of it, I'm sorry, I'll just kept your way. Well,
- 25:07don't apologize. I probably wouldn't have slept anyway, Why not guilty conscience?
- 25:11Don't be silly. I didn't even do it. Do what whatever it is
- 25:15I'm supposed to feel guilty about lying, is what I had in mind at
- 25:18the moment. Oh I do that all the time, but I never feel
- 25:21guilty about it. I just call it making up things by claiming you were
- 25:23the niece of Fritzie Morraless Cronin's oldest friends, count my windpipe, by claiming
- 25:32you're Fritzie Morral's niece. Mostly I drink tea, but you already had the
- 25:34coffee claiming you're friend? Right? All right? How'd you find out?
- 25:41Nothing very spectacular? She just didn't have a niece. I wasn't sure,
- 25:45but I thought she must. Everybody her age has at least one niece.
- 25:48What was the idea? Well, well, I lived in the same rooming.
- 25:53How she did. She liked me, talk to me a lot before
- 25:56she died last year. So the invitation came last week. I got the
- 26:00idea of going as her niece. I didn't mean any harm by it.
- 26:03I just wanted to go to the party, all right, Relax, That's
- 26:10about the way I figured it. Well, it turned out to be quite
- 26:14a party, didn't I. I hope I never see another one like this
- 26:17is Johnny, Johnny, what's wrong with her? It was miss Etheton.
- 26:23I got up slowly from my chair as she walked towards us and then stopped
- 26:26a few feet from the table. Her eyes were fixed on something far away,
- 26:30and the look on her face was strange and grim. I think I
- 26:34knew even before she spoke Missus Cronin is dead. There'll be another intriguing episode
- 27:00our story of the Kronin matter tomorrow Tomorrow. The questions and the answers for
- 27:03the living and the dead, a final payoff, and fate itself plays the
- 27:08last Trump Join us, won't you? Yours Truly? Shine Dollar? Yours
- 27:26Truly? Johnny Doller starring Bob Bailey is transcribed in Hollywood, written by Les
- 27:32Crutchfield. It is produced and directed by Jack john Stone. Be sure to
- 27:36join us tomorrow night at same time and station for the next exciting episode of
- 27:41Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, Roy Rowan speaking welcome back. Well, there
- 28:45are a couple of things in this episode just really uh emblematic of what I
- 28:53love so much about this run of Johnny Dowler. First of all, you
- 28:57have the scene with Missus Cronin and Johnny Dowler just absolutely priceless. It's that
- 29:07ability to connect that tenderness that Bob Bailey brings to the role. And then
- 29:12you just have that perfect teaser for Friday's show. If you were sitting there
- 29:21listening to this in nineteen fifty five, how could you not tune in on
- 29:26Friday? Just absolutely absolutely makes you want to find out what's going to happen
- 29:33next. So good writing, great acting, and that right area is in
- 29:40a nutshell what makes this program so great, as well as the stores that
- 29:45are available to it. All right, Well, listener comments and feedback,
- 29:48and we begin with one from Mark, who's written to us before. Long
- 29:52time my friend at the show says, Dude, we get that you don't
- 29:56like the giant animal commercials on John A Dollar. You don't need to tell
- 30:02us about it every time one shows up. Well, Mark, I definitely
- 30:07appreciate the feedback, and I'll take it into consideration of future shows. When
- 30:11dealing with us somewhat trying commercials, I will say in my defense that we
- 30:21that not only were these commercials troublesome, but I had to listen to them
- 30:26ten times in a week. Now, say what you want about the Clipper
- 30:30Craft ants, which could be at times cheesy, tone deaf, just playing
- 30:38over the top. You only had to listen to those once a week.
- 30:41You get basically the same commercial five days a week, two times a show.
- 30:48So it's hard not to comment on. But thanks for the feedback.
- 30:52I appreciate it all right. Well, we have a comment on Facebook from
- 30:57David who talk on the last episode of The Big Guy. David said,
- 31:03wasn't too sure about this series at first, but this episode episode was great.
- 31:07We wish there were at least a few more to hear well, I
- 31:10definitely agree. There are so many shows we've played on the show. I
- 31:15love to play the short series just to give you a samples out there,
- 31:18but a lot of them leave you one and more. Laugh in your hands,
- 31:23Leonitis witherall the Quarro series with Harold Hoober, particularly that they had a
- 31:33daily serial that they aired over CBS only two episodes in existence, not a
- 31:40complete series, so I couldn't bring you that, but it definitely leaves you
- 31:47one and more. Well, this one's not one that I Big Guy's not
- 31:51one I'm particularly optimistic about. I'll keep an eye out see if I stumble
- 31:56across anything. All right, well, that'll do it for today. Join
- 32:00us tomorrow we'll be bringing you Sherlock Holmes, and then on Friday we're going
- 32:07to find out the conclusion to the Cronin matter. In the meantime, send
