Newsom's Diaper Dollars & Dirty Deals plus AOC’s Insane 1776 Billionaire Claim · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

Speaker 1: As straightforward as securing the border seemed to be once
• 0:04
Speaker 1: you got into office, it almost implies that another president
• 0:08
Speaker 1: could reverse it as quickly. Is there any way to
• 0:10
Speaker 1: protect against that in the future?
• 0:12
Speaker 2: Vote Republicans. You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update
• 0:17
  Speaker 2: with Ben ferguson.
• 0:19
Speaker 3: Good Monday morning. Nice to have you with us from
• 0:20
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got two big
• 0:23
Speaker 3: stories for you. First up, corruption being exposed, this time
• 0:27
Speaker 3: through diaper kickbacks in California. So how to Gavin Newsom
• 0:32
Speaker 3: try to get away with this one? And it involves
• 0:34
Speaker 3: your tax dollars. Also, AOC is now coming out and
• 0:38
Speaker 3: saying she doesn't believe that anyone can actually become a
• 0:42
Speaker 3: billionaire legitimately in this country, as she's now opened a
• 0:46
Speaker 3: new war on any American that's successful. She's blaming Donald Trump.
• 0:51
Speaker 3: It's a forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 0:55
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 0:56
Speaker 3: So if you ever wonder just how corrupt Democratic Party
• 1:01
Speaker 3: could be, how corrupt could it be to take your
• 1:04
Speaker 3: tax dollars and use it for different projects to hook
• 1:08
Speaker 3: up your friends? Is there anything that Democrats won't do
• 1:14
Speaker 3: to make a buck? I asked this question because Gavin Newsom,
• 1:18
Speaker 3: the guy who's the front runner for the Democratic Party
• 1:20
Speaker 3: for the presidency. Well, there's a new report out that
• 1:24
Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom figured out a way to have twenty million
• 1:27
Speaker 3: dollar diaper deal work with a sweetheart relationship, all using
• 1:33
Speaker 3: taxpayers dollars. Now, they're just diapers, right, But even Democrats
• 1:39
Speaker 3: to figure out a way to corrupt diapers. They have
• 1:42
Speaker 3: now landed the California governor into a no pun intended
• 1:47
Speaker 3: messy accusations of corruption for dumping twenty million and taxpayer
• 1:53
Speaker 3: money into a non profit led by an executive who
• 1:58
Speaker 3: sits on the board of his wife's own organization. Some
• 2:03
Speaker 3: would refer to this as a massive kickback. Now, the
• 2:08
Speaker 3: initiative was called the Golden State Start, which would provide
• 2:14
Speaker 3: they claim free diapers. By the way, there's no such
• 2:17
Speaker 3: thing as free diapers. Somebody's got to pay for him.
• 2:19
Speaker 3: And well that just as the taxpayers at this point
• 2:21
Speaker 3: right to newborns and hospitals throughout the state. It also
• 2:26
  Speaker 3: was a big debut ahead of Sunday's Mother's Day. It's
• 2:30
Speaker 3: been promoted as a partnership between the state and the
• 2:34
Speaker 3: Los Angeles base Baby to Baby nonprofit organization However, the
• 2:41
Speaker 3: deal has resulted in massive well scrutiny, as it should,
• 2:46
Speaker 3: over how the organization was chosen and specifically it's proximity
• 2:51
Speaker 3: to Newsom's political and personal network. The California Post revealed
• 2:56
Speaker 3: on Saturday, if you take the number of diapers they're
• 3:00
Speaker 3: planning to send out and the amount of money that
• 3:03
Speaker 3: he's spending on it, it's about fifty cents for each one,
• 3:07
Speaker 3: which is like one hundred times more expensive if you
• 3:12
Speaker 3: just bought them literally at Costco. I'm gonna say that again.
• 3:16
Speaker 3: You could take the money that he is spending the
• 3:19
Speaker 3: twenty million, you could go and purchase at Costco retail
• 3:24
Speaker 3: just to have your Costco card. I've got one. Many
• 3:26
Speaker 3: of you listening have one, and you could buy them
• 3:29
Speaker 3: one hundred times less expensive than the diapers that the
• 3:34
Speaker 3: governor's plan is going to buy. Republican Govntorial candidate Steve
• 3:39
Speaker 3: Hilton told the Post, this is what literally corruption looks like.
• 3:43
Speaker 3: Where's the money coming from? Is the other question people
• 3:46
Speaker 3: should be asking. The answer is us. Now, this is
• 3:50
Speaker 3: where it gets really interesting. Newsom's wife co founded the
• 3:55
Speaker 3: California Partners Project, which helped facilitate this quote. Partnership. It's
• 4:01
Speaker 3: a ripoff. It aims to increase women in leadership, is
• 4:05
Speaker 3: what their state of goal is online. The co CEO
• 4:08
Speaker 3: sits on Newsom's board of directors. Yes, so this is
• 4:13
Speaker 3: just extreme corruption right in front front of your face.
• 4:18
Speaker 3: And so therefore it's like, yeah, we just do this
• 4:20
Speaker 3: all the time. Now. The diaper deal, as it was
• 4:23
Speaker 3: reported in LA is glaring evidence of what sweetheart relationships
• 4:28
Speaker 3: between state funded programs and then like basically the equivalent
• 4:33
Speaker 3: of INNGO right, non governmental agency organization or affiliated nonprofit networks.
• 4:40
Speaker 3: Instead of taking our money putting into some let me
• 4:43
Speaker 3: rephrase that quote, instead of taking our money putting into
• 4:48
Speaker 3: some scheme that benefits their friends and cronies. Hilton said,
• 4:53
Speaker 3: why don't they let us just keep more of our
• 4:54
Speaker 3: money in the first place, so we can decide how
• 4:56
Speaker 3: to spend our money. Now, the cozy relationships are not
• 5:00
Speaker 3: limited to just diapers. Were also learning the woman's family
• 5:04
Speaker 3: has ties that have also drawn attention from other critics,
• 5:07
Speaker 3: including her marriage to a film producer whose father is
• 5:11
Speaker 3: a longtime Democratic donor who has deep ties to the
• 5:14
Speaker 3: Clinton air political network. According to the Post, some seven
• 5:20
Speaker 3: point four million has already been approved for the diaper's program.
• 5:25
Speaker 3: There's twelve point five million that has been proposed for
• 5:28
Speaker 3: the program for twenty twenty six and twenty twenty seven
• 5:32
Speaker 3: state budget. Now, other critics also argue that the comparable
• 5:37
Speaker 3: bulk retail prices are significantly lower than what the state
• 5:40
Speaker 3: will be paying. The Post reach out to Newsom's office
• 5:44
Speaker 3: and Baby's Baby to Baby for comment, but guess what.
• 5:48
Speaker 3: Neither of them have said a word in response. Newsom,
• 5:52
Speaker 3: who many observers predict will run for president in twenty
• 5:55
Speaker 3: twenty eight, appears undeterred. He's promising the Golden States Start
• 6:00
Speaker 3: as a unique child welfare initiative, calling it a first
• 6:05
Speaker 3: in the nation program to provide free diapers to all
• 6:09
Speaker 3: newborns born in California. Now, I go back to the
• 6:13
Speaker 3: dollar amount here, and this is the part that should
• 6:16
Speaker 3: really make people angry. They are deliberately funneling money to
• 6:19
Speaker 3: their family and their friends. That's the only way that
• 6:22
Speaker 3: you could describe this logically. Otherwise, why would you spend
• 6:27
Speaker 3: on average fifty cents for each newborn diaper? Right? It'
• 6:30
Speaker 3: one hundred times more expensive than if you bought them
• 6:32
Speaker 3: at costco. In fact, the state is spending more per
• 6:36
Speaker 3: diaper than any store. Basically, you could go to in
• 6:39
Speaker 3: California to buy diapers. So you could go into any
• 6:42
Speaker 3: grocery store, you could go into CBS, you go to Walgreens,
• 6:45
Speaker 3: whatever target, and you could get a better deal on
• 6:49
Speaker 3: diapers than what the state is paying while buying in
• 6:52
Speaker 3: massive bulk. And everyone knows that when you buy in bulk,
• 6:56
Speaker 3: what happens you get a better price. That's not hard
• 7:00
Speaker 3: math to figure out.
• 7:01
Speaker 2: Next story number two.
• 7:03
Speaker 3: Now, while all of this is happening, there's also another
• 7:06
Speaker 3: very interesting story that goes back to this issue of
• 7:09
Speaker 3: massive corruption. Democrats don't want you to know about just
• 7:15
Speaker 3: how correct they are, so instead where they do every
• 7:17
Speaker 3: time they attack the rich in this country, AOC doing
• 7:22
Speaker 3: exactly that, showing how historically illiterate she is as a
• 7:27
Speaker 3: communist in her latest interview that she's set down to
• 7:30
Speaker 3: talk about the twenty twenty eight mindset right where the
• 7:33
Speaker 3: Democratic Party is going now, you should not underestimate what
• 7:38
Speaker 3: they're trying to accomplish here. The New York Post has
• 7:41
Speaker 3: an article out right now talking about this. The headline says,
• 7:45
Speaker 3: AOC claims the American Revolution was fought against billionaires. I'm
• 7:52
Speaker 3: gonna say that again. AOC believes that the American Revolution
• 7:56
Speaker 3: was to fight against billionaires. Now she's a squad member.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: She's obviously under fire because if any of you know history,
• 8:05
Speaker 3: you know that that is insane. She's under fire for
• 8:08
Speaker 3: radically rewriting history by claiming that the American Revolution was
• 8:12
Speaker 3: all about fighting against billionaires, similar to the fights she
• 8:15
Speaker 3: and other fellow socialists are waging now on capitalism. Quote
• 8:20
Speaker 3: the American Revolution was against the billionaires of their time.
• 8:24
Speaker 3: In fact, let me just let you hear from AOC
• 8:26
Speaker 3: in her own words. This is AOC describing the American Revolution.
• 8:31
Speaker 3: And the scary part is this was actually done at
• 8:34
Speaker 3: the instut of Politics at the University of Chicago. Another
• 8:36
Speaker 3: reason why you should be careful you send your kids
• 8:38
  Speaker 3: to college.
• 8:39
Speaker 4: Listen, the American Revolution was against the billionaires of their time,
• 8:47
Speaker 4: and we were declaring independence from such an extreme marriage
• 8:52
Speaker 4: of wealth and power in the state.
• 8:55
Speaker 3: By the way, just to be clear, the quote billionaires
• 8:59
Speaker 3: of our time when the American Revolution was happening was
• 9:02
Speaker 3: actually people like George Washington who are risking everything, Thomas Jefferson,
• 9:06
Speaker 3: Abraham Lincoln. They were very wealthy and they were spending
• 9:09
Speaker 3: their money at incredible rates to try to have an
• 9:14
Speaker 3: independent nation, the complete opposite of what AOC just said.
• 9:21
Speaker 3: But she wants you to believe this country was founded
• 9:24
Speaker 3: to destroy capitalism, when it was actually about freedom and capitalism.
• 9:29
Speaker 3: The American Revolution, or exact quote, was against the billionaires
• 9:32
Speaker 3: of their time. That is not true. And we are
• 9:34
Speaker 3: declarring independence from such an extreme marriage of wealth and
• 9:37
Speaker 3: the state. She went on to say again, also lie.
• 9:41
Speaker 3: Now she went to Boston University. Another reason why if
• 9:44
Speaker 3: you went there, maybe you should ask for a refund
• 9:46
Speaker 3: for noting the American Revolution was actually, in fact a
• 9:51
Speaker 3: rebellion against the British government. And what were we rebelling
• 9:55
Speaker 3: against over unfair taxation without representation and control by a monarchy,
• 10:01
Speaker 3: not a fight overwhealth. In fact, it was the opposite
• 10:04
Speaker 3: of that. You also, I go back to George Washington
• 10:08
Speaker 3: and some of our other founding fathers were among the
• 10:11
Speaker 3: wealthiest in the colonies. Washington himself was worth the equivalent
• 10:14
Speaker 3: of nearly six hundred million in today's money. So to
• 10:18
Speaker 3: answer the question, as Sener Mike Lee put it this week, No, AOC,
• 10:21
Speaker 3: the American Revolution was not against the billionaires of their time. Quote,
• 10:27
Speaker 3: it was against a large, distant and overly intrusive government
• 10:32
Speaker 3: that recognized no limits over its own authority to tax, regulate,
• 10:38
Speaker 3: and eat out the substance of the citizens that claim
• 10:42
Speaker 3: to serve. Now again that's coming from Senator Mike Lee.
• 10:45
Speaker 3: He's absolutely right. So take a listen to AOC talking
• 10:50
Speaker 3: and demonizing billionaires in this country, saying it's impossible for
• 10:55
Speaker 3: anyone to make a billion dollars.
• 10:57
Speaker 5: Legitimately, here's a level of wealth and accumulation that is unearned. Right,
• 11:07
Speaker 5: you can't earn a billion dollars, that's right. You just
• 11:12
  Speaker 5: can't earn that.
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: That's exactly correct.
• 11:15
Speaker 5: You can, you can get market power, you can break rules,
• 11:21
Speaker 5: you can do all sorts of things, you can abuse
• 11:24
Speaker 5: labor laws, you can pay people less than what they're worth.
• 11:28
Speaker 5: But you can't earn that, right, and so you have
• 11:32
Speaker 5: to create a myth that since you didn't earn that,
• 11:36
Speaker 5: you have to create a myth of earning it.
• 11:40
Speaker 3: A myth of earning it. So to be clear, if
• 11:43
Speaker 3: you're someone that started the personal computer, that you didn't
• 11:46
Speaker 3: earn that. If you decide to come up with like
• 11:49
Speaker 3: an amazing car that didn't actually use petrol called a tesla.
• 11:55
Speaker 3: You didn't earn that. If you created a company that
• 11:59
Speaker 3: decided to start flying people from point A to point
• 12:01
Speaker 3: B and it exploded, you didn't earn that. If you
• 12:04
Speaker 3: came up with some unbelievable technology like AI and it explodes,
• 12:09
Speaker 3: you actually didn't earn that. This is AOC and the
• 12:14
Speaker 3: Democratic Party making it clear ahead of the midterm elections
• 12:17
Speaker 3: what they're going to do. They're going to make this
• 12:19
Speaker 3: about us against them. If you're successful, you're the devil.
• 12:23
Speaker 3: They're also going to talk about race as much as
• 12:26
Speaker 3: they possibly can as well, AOC saying this after attacking
• 12:30
Speaker 3: anyone that's been successful in this country.
• 12:32
Speaker 5: There are very few real archetypes of in my opinion,
• 12:41
Speaker 5: truly what America is all about. I think about the
• 12:45
Speaker 5: civil rights and voting rights movement and how Black Americans
• 12:50
Speaker 5: really created democracy in US country. That's exactly right, How
• 12:54
Speaker 5: they literally made something from nothing, it is just beyond me.
• 13:01
Speaker 5: I think about how like Native people have survived and
• 13:09
Speaker 5: preserved and treasured their culture. I think about, and I
• 13:18
Speaker 5: think many of us think about immigrants, which if you
• 13:21
Speaker 5: aren't from one of those first two populations, you are
• 13:23
Speaker 5: certainly from largely the third.
• 13:27
Speaker 3: You listen to AOC, and this goes back to the
• 13:30
Speaker 3: core of the Democratic Party. They want you to hate
• 13:33
Speaker 3: this country at its core. They want you to hate
• 13:35
Speaker 3: anybody that works hard. They want you to hate anybody
• 13:38
Speaker 3: that doesn't depend on the government aka them, for your
• 13:41
Speaker 3: success or your livelihood, or just your survival. And then
• 13:46
Speaker 3: they want to divide also on the issue of race,
• 13:49
Speaker 3: because this is what AOC believes, This is what the
• 13:53
Speaker 3: Democratic Party believes. I will say it again. They are
• 13:56
Speaker 3: telling you what they think about this country. When they do.
• 14:00
Speaker 3: Believe them when they tell you they hate this country.
• 14:03
Speaker 3: Believe them when they tell you that they want to
• 14:06
Speaker 3: destroy this country. Believe them when they tell you that
• 14:09
Speaker 3: America is evil and that's what they're saying. Believe that
• 14:13
Speaker 3: that is what they believe in. So the midterms are coming,
• 14:17
Speaker 3: and if you want to know what the midterms are about,
• 14:21
Speaker 3: this is what the midterms are about. This is the
• 14:25
Speaker 3: whole ballgame. This is what they want to happen to America.
• 14:31
Speaker 3: You destroy it from within and you recreated it as
• 14:35
Speaker 3: a socialist, communist, Marxist society. I want to get your
• 14:39
Speaker 3: phone calls one A hundred four seven four nine seven
• 14:44
Speaker 3: three two one a hundred four seven four nine to seven,
• 14:49
Speaker 3: three to two patriotmonble dot com phone lines are open.
• 14:52
Speaker 3: We'll get your thoughts, your reaction to all this, see
• 14:54
Speaker 3: what you think about it. And again AOC coming out
• 14:57
Speaker 3: saying this, It truly is incredible. It's also not not
• 15:00
Speaker 3: surprising that this is what she believes, and this is
• 15:05
Speaker 3: why she's saying it the way she's saying it. She
• 15:08
Speaker 3: wants this country to burn to the ground, and then
• 15:12
Speaker 3: she wants the who sees the world that would be
• 15:15
Speaker 3: her and any others to be the ones that are
• 15:19
Speaker 3: in charge of it. That's the goal. And if you
• 15:23
Speaker 3: are a successful person, be ready. Okay, I just be
• 15:28
Speaker 3: ready because they also want to bring you down. They
• 15:32
Speaker 3: literally want to take you down.
