- 0:00Better rock better talk damn radio Hello good evening welcome I am Samuel trap.
- 0:10This is international flavor.
- 0:13You are listening to damn radio.
- 0:14It is 9 p.m. In Central Missouri and Many other places but Central Missouri is
- 0:23what's important to us.
- 0:24What's going on today?
- 0:25I have Quite a bit.
- 0:27I want to talk about lawsuit got filed today.
- 0:30I told you a little bit about it last night There's still plenty of
- 0:34international news to go into as well That I wanted to talk about but before I
- 0:40get to that I thought it would be Excuse me appropriate to go through some of
- 0:49these I Everybody knows me to be pretty much I don't know.
- 0:58I used to describe myself as a Conservative when it came to fiscal and
- 1:06financial policy, but otherwise Well, I suppose more of a libertarian approach
- 1:12hands-off.
- 1:13You know, what do I care if?
- 1:15somebody wants to I don't know be gay somebody wants to Marry, you know a man
- 1:22wants to marry a man or a woman wants to marry a woman I disagree with it, but
- 1:28Okay, you know people might disagree with the way the way I Decide to run my
- 1:34life and but I've always been kind of a long as you're not bothering me Okay,
- 1:42you know I I found it interesting in High school the army afterward Dealing
- 1:50with people that I knew to be The gay alternate lifestylists of whatever kind
- 1:59that they were but it doesn't Impact me so I haven't really paid attention to
- 2:04it Well, I have a ton of stories that I could give you in that regard from when
- 2:09I was in the military Policy in the military was don't ask don't tell when I
- 2:16went in then they changed it to Well when I went in I believe it was you
- 2:23couldn't Have that kind of a relationship and it stayed that way but before
- 2:30They would prosecute on it and after it was the don't ask don't tell was a
- 2:36pretty big deal you know, and so and I and Homosexuality is not the point of my
- 2:43discussion tonight.
- 2:44My the point is basic freedoms of a person and what that is in America and the
- 2:50fact is you can Disagree with what other people choose to do in their Lives and
- 3:00the approaches that they take so as many of you if you may know I grew up
- 3:06Mormon and I remember when I Was in the military and had an idiot Sergeant
- 3:16was just dumb as a bag of hammers At least it was a whole bag of hammers
- 3:22though, and it wasn't just what but he basically Told me that I couldn't be a
- 3:28good Mormon and I said well You know That's for me to figure out and none of
- 3:33your damn business if I am or not But tell me why it's important to you and he
- 3:39said well, I saw you drinking You know milk you drink milk like it's going on
- 3:45style.
- 3:46I was like, oh, yeah well, I'm from one of them sects of Mormonism that You
- 3:51know allows you to drink milk, you know, yeah, I thought it was something like
- 3:54that he and then he says when you're gonna get your Second wife, you know, I
- 4:00noticed you married I said, oh well Here's just something like you know the you
- 4:06have to be married a certain number of years I said, I don't really know, you
- 4:10know, I said I can barely handle one wife but I'm not sure I could handle two I
- 4:14said, but they Basically you have to have so many kids and you gotta you know
- 4:22the the brotherhood comes and they check you out and then they they kind of Set
- 4:28you up with or kind of like issue you another wife and the guy goes.
- 4:32Yeah, I thought it was something like that I was like, yeah Never did tell the
- 4:35idiot that that he was you know That I was yanking his chain and the trouble is
- 4:40he's probably wandering the planet telling all no I knew this Mormon kid and he
- 4:45said blah blah blah and You know took it took it to Heart, you know, but the
- 4:51point of that it's not what the show is about tonight or what I want to talk
- 4:55about it's I Remember when the big discussion was about whether Gay marriage
- 5:04was gonna be able to take place and I remember Doing a show about it from when
- 5:10I was in Qatar because I knew a guy my brother Matthew and I were working with
- 5:17a Qatari guy that Matt knew a hell of a lot better than me I was only
- 5:21peripheral but we would go sit with him and basically him and he's really nice
- 5:26guy and really wealthy and really pretty cool and basically There were some
- 5:33issues with people as they got older and how they I don't know And I did my
- 5:41what was never fully versed in it and I didn't know many Qataris you know, but
- 5:46those that I did know and the other people I thought I know that Polygamy or
- 5:53having more than one wife is definitely allowed and in some ways it was kind of
- 6:01Politically expected, you know as you got further up in The issue according to
- 6:07certain people and I don't know I never really paid that much attention to it
- 6:11but I do know that was the discussion that some of the People that you know
- 6:17were were of that I don't know what Generation I suppose because he was older
- 6:26than me that you know, basically was Looking into it and I don't know whatever
- 6:33happened to it It was only a peripheral discussion, but the way I understood it
- 6:37was that it took place.
- 6:38Well different cultures different things It's not for me to judge and I've
- 6:42never judged You know the the Mormon side it's like I mean, I'm being truthful
- 6:47when I say I can't handle You can't handle one wife.
- 6:51Why why would I and Why would I want more than one?
- 6:55You know what?
- 6:55I mean?
- 6:56And at any rate The point of the show tonight is basically Freedom of speech if
- 7:04you were listening to me last week on the Sunday night deep dive when I was
- 7:08talking to Scott Ritter and the punishment that he's taken the punishment that
- 7:15people from RT Russia today basically Has taken in our government overreach,
- 7:23which I always like to talk about and things like that well the topic for today
- 7:29and some of the discussion that I want to get into has to do with this kind of
- 7:38I Don't know judgment against other People and tonight especially I want to
- 7:47talk about free speech Adult expression and Things
- 7:58like prostitution I've been around the planet I've been to 54 countries, I
- 8:08think and by the way, Belarus and Latvia are coming up and You know, I will
- 8:17that'll be 55 and 56 I believe and Basically you can disagree with
- 8:26some you know with with some of these things but I Want to give you a little
- 8:32bit of a backdrop and then tell you about what's going on particularly in the
- 8:38case of the state of Missouri but in order to get there, let's let's look at
- 8:44from my non-judgmental point of view in the way that I Take or accept things in
- 8:51the real world in my adult life that I just don't Try hard not to judge other
- 8:59people.
- 8:59It's not for me to judge if these things are wrong and people are doing them
- 9:04here on earth and I believe in a God well, then That any God that I believe in
- 9:11will perhaps judge those people if he so chooses but then again, maybe I'm
- 9:18incorrect and they have a Kind of a leg up in that regard as it were and I'm
- 9:24and I don't I don't know I'm not the person in charge of that, but I didn't
- 9:29want to talk about it because it's I remember again from when I was escorting
- 9:38Russian Soviet Diplomats and especially during the times that we were in Vegas
- 9:45and it was around this time if any of you went to Vegas in the 80s What a dump
- 9:55In all seriousness it was You would go walking down the street and it was trash
- 10:00everywhere people were handing out flyers all day long about You know getting
- 10:07laid finding a hooker strip clubs You know, who knows the nastier the better
- 10:13and and Vegas was really kind of dirty It began to change and I think
- 10:23what they did was they turned it into they started having some Believe it or
- 10:28not some family venues and it wasn't just a sin city sort of a thing.
- 10:33They started Changing They started having high-dollar Family sorts of
- 10:42Adventure.
- 10:43No, you know, there's still plenty of gambling going on plenty of adult
- 10:47entertainment, there's I Forget some club out there.
- 10:52It was called the Palomino Club.
- 10:53I remember I remember when I was on the Nevada nuclear test site and the way
- 11:01the way that Worked was if you were going to be out there for The the typical
- 11:07was you'd go there for a week and then you'd go to a to DC for a week back and
- 11:12forth But sometimes you would have to be out there Two three four weeks in a
- 11:17row and if you were out there two three four weeks in a row Then you would get
- 11:22two days off a week and you could you know go into Vegas and I remember One
- 11:28particular time there was this colonel whose name I won't give out It was funny
- 11:33as hell and I thought he was just hilarious and he was out there with us And he
- 11:37was just an old crusty dude had a lot of things and he goes one day it was a
- 11:42Friday afternoon and he goes comes into my my Everybody had a separate Sort of
- 11:51a hotel room out there, you know I had my own room and he came into the room
- 11:57and he goes trap.
- 11:58I was like, yeah, he goes It looks like you're off next couple of days with And
- 12:05I remember his name, but I'm not gonna say it's the Navy guy He goes this Navy
- 12:10guy is is off and he's a good guy and it's his birthday I was like, oh, I
- 12:15didn't know that he goes.
- 12:17Yeah, it's his birthday.
- 12:18I said, here's what I want you to do He said no guarantee me you're gonna do
- 12:21this.
- 12:21I was like, you know, whatever, you know, I'll do I'll do what you're gonna say
- 12:24he goes you guys are going in and what you would do is there was a There was a
- 12:30Like an apartment a two-bedroom apartment that the the agency had that was
- 12:36there in downtown Vegas and you would swap out.
- 12:42Sometimes there'd be some FBI guy.
- 12:44There's FBI guys there sometimes there'd be us military some, you know, you'd
- 12:50basically swap it out And when we got there turned out there were two other
- 12:54guys, you know So it ended up being four of us, you know, I slept on the floor
- 12:58somebody slip on the couch, you know, we all end up you know sharing whatever
- 13:03was available, but this this this colonel says You know trap he goes you you
- 13:09Take this guy out to this Palomino Club because you're a bit of the Palomino
- 13:13Club.
- 13:13I think no Everybody goes what's a strip club?
- 13:16He goes there's a girl that I want you to introduce him to and she's gonna and
- 13:21you have you you give her this $50 and you tell her to show him a good time
- 13:26some, you know lap dance or whatever and he goes and here's another You know 20
- 13:3130 bucks.
- 13:31I want you to take him out get him some alcohol and have a good time tonight
- 13:36And you know, it's my my birthday present him.
- 13:40I'm like, okay Went out and we did that.
- 13:42Okay.
- 13:43Now you could judge that, you know, but it was it was pretty innocent You know
- 13:47for the basic part and I went to a went to a strip club with this guy at the
- 13:51direction of some colonel or offer of some colonel depending on how you look at
- 13:56it and Anyway, you could judge for that or you could not judge but the women
- 14:02that are there make Extremely good money.
- 14:06Okay.
- 14:07Now one of the other things that happened also in Vegas outside a town There
- 14:14about a hundred miles outside of town, but from the Nevada nuclear test site
- 14:20probably only about 20 minutes 30 minutes, you know There is a little town
- 14:30Still exists today if I believe it is It is called Pahrump Pahrump is an
- 14:40unincorporated town Located at the southernmost chip of Nye County, Nevada 50
- 14:48miles only west of Las Vegas Pahrump lies adjacent to the Nevada, California
- 14:55border Pahrump was originally inhabited by the southern Paiute Indians It was
- 15:03slowly inhabited by settlers in the late 19th century They chose the name for
- 15:09Pahrump after the original southern Paiute named Pahrumpy or water rock so
- 15:16named because the abundant artesian wells in the valley Because of the
- 15:21development of those wells recent inhabitants of Pahrump established a number
- 15:25of large ranch style holdings mostly over a thousand acres in size and they
- 15:35Generate alfalfa, cotton, livestock until the 60s Pahrump had no telephone
- 15:40service except one radio transmitter phone in a public booth next to a small
- 15:46market and not a paved road at all as Las Vegas grew grew the Pahrump region
- 15:53also saw more real estate development and population growth that led to the
- 15:57introduction of telephones and The construction of a paved highway between
- 16:02Vegas and Pahrump during the 60s later this Nevada 60 was extended to 95, okay
- 16:10now there was also a Casino owner named Ted Binion who owned Binion's horseshoe
- 16:19Who allegedly buried a large quantity of silver in a secret underground vault
- 16:23in 98 He died under Suspicious circumstances and one of those accused of
- 16:29murdering was apprehended digging up the vault in Pahrump a book about this
- 16:34murder Trial and Las Vegas poker is called positively fifth Street, and it's a
- 16:41book by James McManus In November 2006 the town board voted an ordinance
- 16:48declaring English the official language Limited the display of foreign flags
- 16:54and denied housing or illegal immigrants a Measure of this ordinance required
- 17:00American flag be displayed above any other flag regardless of what organization
- 17:05nation or government it represented Okay We get into geography and climate
- 17:13where is the economy two legal Brothels one named Sherry's ranch
- 17:23and the other named the chicken ranch are Located in Pahrump due to their
- 17:30proximity to Vegas.
- 17:31They tend to be more Expensive than other legal brothels in Nevada Okay So
- 17:41Pahrump has had these, you know, you can go to the Chicken ranch and it is a
- 17:48legal licensed brothel 60 miles West of Vegas and there are 60 courtesans
- 17:58called the chicken ranch home girls That means around 12 to 15 women that live
- 18:04and work there at any time The women stay for two weeks at a time.
- 18:09They are independent contractors set their own prices and menu Due to night
- 18:16County ordinances solicitation cannot be done outside of the house of the
- 18:21brothel The ranch used to house a collection of memorabilia from the original
- 18:27chicken ranch Which was located outside of LaGrange, Texas The ranch also
- 18:34houses the leghorn bar The bar has a separate entrance for visitors not wishing
- 18:39to until the brothel parlor So Walter Plankerton Operated
- 18:49the Nevada chicken ranch in 76 as close to Vegas as legally possible He
- 18:56encountered strong opposition from local law enforcement and other brothel
- 19:01owners It does remain the closest brothel to Las Vegas The initial location of
- 19:08the ranch was inside the town limits where prostitution was illegal He was
- 19:14arrested and found guilty of violating the town laws We moved his brothel to a
- 19:19new location within the county but outside of the city limits He served 60 days
- 19:26in jail in 1981 so Now a county didn't require brothels to be licensed and
- 19:34three other brothels operated legally in the county at the time Okay anyway, I
- 19:41do you don't you can go read the history of the chicken ranch if you like and
- 19:46it is There are some legal places in Vegas and that allow this so you can agree
- 19:53or disagree But we have it and if you want to talk it from an international
- 19:57level I'm telling you that I every army guy has probably done this in Frankfurt
- 20:05Germany that if you served in there, you can go and walk through these
- 20:12Basically apartment complexes and when you go through there's a girl selling
- 20:19her where in or well her lack thereof in the doorway of Wherever you walk
- 20:28past and the place is like crazy on a on a Friday Saturday night And me and a
- 20:34buddy went up there and wandered around just say we did it, right?
- 20:37We didn't imbibe, you know didn't go in there But it was an interesting concept
- 20:43and all of them are checked out by doctors I mean you you can agree or you can
- 20:47disagree with what it is But different cultures do different things, you know,
- 20:53some have more wives.
- 20:54I haven't been to Thailand but apparently that is the number one business in
- 21:01Thailand You know, some people call it the oldest business in Thailand The Fact
- 21:11is that I've been to Amsterdam a bunch of times.
- 21:15I love Amsterdam.
- 21:16It's a beautiful city.
- 21:17The Rijksmuseum is Unbelievable and you can go and see Van Gogh Paintings
- 21:25there's a whole floor and I you know, I spent an entire day there seeing Van
- 21:32Gogh paintings that were just Phenomenal and you can just sit there and stare
- 21:37at them forever Anyway, that's not the topic tonight, but in the red light
- 21:41district if you go walking through there it's a little bit different than it is
- 21:45and it's a little more I Don't know what A Little higher class I suppose it
- 21:55a little better structure because what they do there is they have little rooms
- 22:02and these rooms have Display windows imagine walking through a mall and you see
- 22:08these display windows Well, this is right on the street, you know, and they
- 22:12don't allow children in there Whatever the age is.
- 22:16I don't know that it's 18.
- 22:17It might only be 16 I have no idea but you know, they have a police that don't
- 22:23allow, you know kids in there and People can wander the street and you I mean,
- 22:31there's there's girls standing in windows It's crazy.
- 22:35And then some guy will go in and they'll pull the shade down and whatever they
- 22:40do They do and that's perfectly legal and there's nothing wrong with it.
- 22:44I Remember when I first went to Germany for any period of time and Somewhat
- 22:52shocking to me was that Bare-breasted women were shown on TV, you know in
- 23:01commercials and whatnot.
- 23:03It was not a big deal men could You know go to the bathroom right on the side
- 23:09of the room and often did I remember walking down the street and garmish and
- 23:14some guy going to the bathroom.
- 23:16They may have changed it by now I don't know.
- 23:17I haven't been there in a while but there's a guy going to the bathroom on the
- 23:21side of the road and Stand on the side of road taking taking a leak and some
- 23:25woman goes by.
- 23:27Hey good.
- 23:27She's waving.
- 23:28He's He waves back keeps up, you know, no big deal They think differently than
- 23:35we do and if you went into a gas station to pay for your gas Laying right up on
- 23:41the counter where you pay for gas.
- 23:43We're I don't know rated X magazine Any pert any kid of seven or eight could
- 23:50see them and they don't hide them now I remember one person explaining to me
- 23:55that you know, well in Germany guess what?
- 23:57Guess what?
- 23:57We don't I was like man.
- 23:58You got this stuff laying all over.
- 24:00Don't you have kids and they said it I said, yeah, we have kids, you know, we
- 24:03like our sex just as much as everybody else and We appreciate it and we look in
- 24:09the books and we do all those things that you American do we just don't feel
- 24:13guilty about it and Guess what problem we do not have.
- 24:17It's like what says You know teenage pregnancy you know, I don't know that I
- 24:24agree with that or know anything about it, but I Don't dictate or judge what
- 24:30people can and cannot do.
- 24:32Anyway, I've talked about that for a very Good and long time to tell you that,
- 24:37you know different strokes for different folks and Missouri has For
- 24:47example they don't allow a Prostitution obviously that's again.
- 24:56They do allow Have allowed strip clubs.
- 25:01Okay, and It is that Topic in general that I want to get to
- 25:10and some of the some of the law that goes up to this and some of what the u.s.
- 25:17and The state of Missouri have input regarding such laws, right?
- 25:23Because anywhere you go in the world you have a different different approach
- 25:27depending on where you are You know what they what they allow and what they
- 25:32don't allow and what sort of?
- 25:34governmental Restrictions there are upon such activity over time.
- 25:40We have changed as well I don't know that we're more liberal less liberal, but
- 25:45we live Republic and so the states can have different interpretations.
- 25:49You go to Vegas you got all-out Prostitution where it's illegal and in
- 25:55Missouri.
- 25:56I Assume it probably still takes place.
- 25:59It's just a little more Closed off, you know what?
- 26:04I mean that people either, you know get away with it or they don't And I don't
- 26:12you know, I don't judge not my problem But I'm here to tell you tonight about
- 26:17some of the laws that we have in Missouri and some of the stuff but the freedom
- 26:23of speech in America is We're gonna talk a little bit about adult expression
- 26:32and freedom of speech expressive content expressive conduct But not high-value
- 26:40speech the Supreme Court and I mean the Supreme Court of the United States
- 26:45treats nude or erotic dancing as expressive conduct that gets some first
- 26:55amendment protection and Laws requiring pasties and or g-strings, you know Not
- 27:02totally nude dancing were upheld in case cases called Barnes versus Glenn
- 27:10Theatre in 1991 and in the city of Erie Erie versus Pabst A&M under
- 27:19intermediate scrutiny, so if somebody's going to interfere with your
- 27:24constitutional rights You would prefer that it be at the strict scrutiny level
- 27:32meaning look I have the right to do this if I want to But you know, you better
- 27:39have a damn good reason I'm putting this law But on intermediate scrutiny that
- 27:44law is a little less strict intermediate scrutiny basically, it just means that
- 27:50they're going to weigh the Weigh the need for the statute against
- 28:00the person's Free speech and the restriction upon it.
- 28:05So these are these are important things Those are both United States Supreme
- 28:09Court cases, which we may get into here in a little bit in Missouri, they have
- 28:17Secondary effects of zoning so like you can restrict what part of a city These
- 28:25things can be in or these venues to curb I don't know Undesirable buildings so
- 28:35long as they target the secondary effects and not the protected conduct itself
- 28:43and that's from a case called young versus American mini theaters in 1976 and
- 28:50That was in Oklahoma and then City of Renton were playtime theaters in 86 they
- 28:55had a 1,000 foot buffer space from any, you know, like a school or a church or
- 29:03anything and that was Refined in certain cases and so it's an interesting
- 29:10Series of law that goes about or it gets checked out in these things and let's
- 29:18Let's get to a little bit of language on one of these here cases and go to
- 29:25young versus American mini theaters, which is a 1976 case decided
- 29:35June 24 1976 it is constitutional for a city to enact a zoning rule That
- 29:45treats ordinary cinemas different from adult cinemas, okay so the facts of that
- 29:52case were zoning ordinances in the city of Detroit Required adult movie
- 29:59theaters to be dispersed across the city They couldn't be located within a
- 30:05thousand feet of any two other Regulated uses other adult theaters or nine
- 30:13other types of establishments or Nor could they be within 500 feet of a
- 30:20residential area Okay, so the majority opinion one two, there were five of them
- 30:26including Stevens Burger White Powell and Rehnquist That said the city can
- 30:33regulate the use of commercial property in its boundaries and its interests
- 30:38maintaining the quality of Urban life supports the implementation of this
- 30:44thousand-foot restriction on its own.
- 30:47This does not infringe on the First Amendment rights, even though adult movies
- 30:54are Admittedly a form of protected speech and the regulation is content-based
- 31:01These types of movie theaters are associated with serious risk to the public
- 31:05well-being So the city should have some flexibility in determining an
- 31:10appropriate location, okay dissenting were Potter Stewart Judge Brennan judge
- 31:19Marshall and judge Blackmon rather than mirror and they said rather than a
- 31:24content-neutral time place or manner or regulation of unprotected obscene
- 31:30speech This ordinance is a content-based Regulation of material that is fully
- 31:36protected by the First Amendment Even if some people find it socially
- 31:41undesirable Regulations governing it should receive no less stringent level of
- 31:47scrutiny meaning they wanted strict scrutiny, okay So the main interest stated
- 31:53by the city and putting this rigid rule in place with preserving the character
- 31:58of its Neighborhoods which seems pretty flimsy on face value, but the court
- 32:03gave deference to the city's rationale because of its connection to reducing
- 32:09crime and other social ills The law was not a categorical ban, which would have
- 32:16been struck down but a mere time place and manner type of restriction that is
- 32:23likely to be valid if it is reasonably late related to the legitimate
- 32:26government interest and Not overly burdensome, right?
- 32:31Now that's probably enough to give you the the whole there's no need to go into
- 32:37the whole case of this But remember these things It's still called freedom of
- 32:43speech to have this happen in Missouri has had always allowed the Strip
- 32:54clubs have been a part of Missouri for Long time, you know We could go into
- 33:01that if you'd like to but I don't really see that, you know any need to get too
- 33:05far into it Some people say that licensing is a gag order prohibiting this sort
- 33:13of I Don't know what this sort of display it equals a gag order, but that's
- 33:23That's not how people see it, you know I remember living in Dallas and we had
- 33:29these Germans come over that I worked for a German company and man Dallas had
- 33:35Extremely good strip clubs and all these German people had come over for these
- 33:40Friday afternoons and want to go to the strip club for lunch I had no idea what
- 33:44they were they called it buffet and I remember I didn't do it very often I
- 33:49went, you know, they only came over once a quarter or so and they wanted to go
- 33:54to buffet and buffet what it really meant was these are five-star strip clubs
- 33:59and Unbelievable these these idiot Germans who come in and spend, you know with
- 34:04their corporate credit cards and whatnot spend Jeez, they were high-level
- 34:09executives.
- 34:10They spent So much money in there when I'd go home at I mean we'd go to lunch
- 34:15at like two o'clock And I'd leave to go home at five.
- 34:18They were there still still going and Crazy times anyway, but but a lot of fun
- 34:25and a bunch of nonsense So there's a trend line the the court just upheld a
- 34:33Texas's age Oh, for example there are sites like I don't
- 34:43know porn sites that you can get online and in 2025 The court just upheld a
- 34:51Texas age verification law for porn sites And said that Texas
- 35:00can require A website a porn website to verify the age of
- 35:09the people that visit the site So, I don't know how in you know how they're
- 35:17gonna do that, but it says Texas law requiring adult websites to verify user
- 35:22age is constitutional and Can remain in effect This case came out It was a 2023
- 35:31case June 27 2025 is when this came out So the case stems from a
- 35:412023 law that required websites to verify that a user is over 18 if more than
- 35:47one-third of the content is Considered harmful to minors a group of adult
- 35:52entertainment websites sued Arguing this violated free speech Texas countered
- 35:58that the state had the right to protect children With what the solicitor
- 36:04general framed as a simple safe and common restriction while the Supreme Court
- 36:09Justices were divided on the free speech issue a 6-3 majority sided with Texas
- 36:17finding that requiring age verification is within the state's authority to
- 36:22prevent children from Accessing, you know porn online and it's a long long
- 36:28judgment.
- 36:29You can go and read that if you like, but that's not the point either Missouri
- 36:33let's go to where Let's see, what's what's the First Amendment to United States
- 36:39say it says Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
- 36:47of prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or
- 36:55of the press of the right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition
- 37:00the government for a redress of Grievances those things are the First Amendment
- 37:06and the Fourth Amendment sends those to the states, you know puts it out to the
- 37:14states and Let's see.
- 37:17Now.
- 37:18We're gonna get to the Missouri Constitution on the Bill of Rights and the
- 37:23freedom of speech and No law shall be passed impairing freedom of speech no
- 37:29matter by what means communicated Every person shall be free to say right or
- 37:36publish or otherwise Communicate whatever he will on any subject being
- 37:42responsible for all abuses of that liberty and that in all suits and
- 37:48prosecutions for libel or slander the truth may be given in evidence and in
- 37:54suits and prosecutions for libel the jury under the direction of the court
- 37:58shall determine the law and the facts, okay the Constitution This might not be
- 38:05the most most Detailed of statement that could be a summary, you know of the
- 38:13actual way it's written Okay, there's another law that says And this one is
- 38:18Missouri Constitutional Article 1 section 13 no ex post facto law nor law
- 38:26impairing the obligation of contracts or Retrospective in its operation or
- 38:33Making any irrevocable grant of special privileges or immunities can be enacted
- 38:39Okay, and what that means ex post facto means you cannot Institute a law
- 38:48in reverse so you can't say You know For
- 38:58example that a strip club can be an operation and it is an operation it is and
- 39:03then you know the business is in place and then you change the law and then
- 39:11that Law is applied retrospectively to a place that's already in business and
- 39:19you use it to shut down or Horribly regulate this business and that is where
- 39:26we're going today Because that is what's going on here many of you who know
- 39:32that I practice law I used to do something in federal court practice things in
- 39:38the 42 USC in 1983 and basically That is civil actions for the deprivation of
- 39:44rights, you know, whatever those rights are So every person who in that what
- 39:49that says basically is that any person who under color of statute ordinance
- 39:54regulation customer usage of Any state or territory or district to Columbia?
- 40:00Subjects or causes to be subjected any citizen of the United States or other
- 40:05person within the jurisdiction to the deprivation of rights privileges or
- 40:09immunity secured by the Constitution and law Shall be liable to the party
- 40:15injured in an action of law suit in equity or other proper proceeding for
- 40:20redress except that in an action brought against judicial officer for an act or
- 40:27omission taken in the officers judicial capacity Injunctive relief shall not be
- 40:33granted unless a declaratory degree was violated or declaratory relief is
- 40:37unavailable For the purpose of this section any act of Congress of applicable
- 40:42exclusive to the District Columbia blah blah blah We don't care about that so
- 40:46basically what that does is it passes to a citizen the right to go after the
- 40:50government if they are deprived of Constitutional rights or other laws in the
- 40:55in the state, right?
- 40:58so This is where I am going, okay Basically there has
- 41:08been Club and there's actually been several of them and one of them filed suit
- 41:19Today or yesterday pretty recent That I was gonna talk about it yesterday, but
- 41:24I hadn't I hadn't seen it.
- 41:26I'd heard it was coming, but I hadn't seen it and Basically the state of
- 41:31Missouri on the 28th of August of 2010 and acted a Let's
- 41:43see versions of the Sexually oriented
- 41:53Businesses, okay, and there were various histories to go along with it, but the
- 41:59law as it stands right now Basically chapter 573 531 That says until
- 42:09December 31 2016 Establishment of businesses is prohibited where?
- 42:16Nudity and establishment is prohibited display of sexual activities
- 42:19requirements state requirements hours of operation minors and alcohol
- 42:24prohibited and So you can't, you know have alcohol.
- 42:28No person shall establish a sexually oriented business When a thousand feet of
- 42:34any pre-existing primary or secondary school house of worship state licensed
- 42:39daycare facility public library public park Residence or other sexually
- 42:45oriented business this subsection shall not apply This is important.
- 42:54Okay, this subsection shall not apply to any sexually oriented business
- 43:03lawfully established prior to August 28 2010 for purposes of this subsection
- 43:11measurement shall be made in a straight line blah blah blah So that is the the
- 43:16biggest kicker right is to have that now Anybody that knows anything about The
- 43:26lake knows that There's been a place in Lake Ozark called GQ and there's one
- 43:34over on 42 there might be even more alley too, but there's another one over
- 43:41there you drive past it.
- 43:43I forget the name of that one Hmm I can't remember I remember Club
- 43:53Flirt.
- 43:53It is called Club Flirt when you drive past across from The golf course and the
- 44:00big the cool breakfast place, which I also can't marry name of but you know,
- 44:06it's a Little place like that those places have been in place for the old GQ
- 44:13one has been around forever the The one flirt has been around for a good long
- 44:20time too.
- 44:21Okay, so there are laws that are enacted that say that you You know Can't
- 44:28affect them because they were already established and the reason is because it
- 44:33would be an ex post facto law to input a new regulation against them and
- 44:42Prohibit their business when they've been in operation for in GQ 4050 years,
- 44:52you know, they've been around a long time and been in that location for a long
- 44:57time and always sold alcohol, you know and always had that kind of thing, okay,
- 45:05and This Allows that no, it's it's a crime if you go and you create one
- 45:14somewhere else and it gives the ability to to it appears a person to
- 45:27Enforce this would be a police officer.
- 45:30Okay, and way back when there was a case called Where is this case?
- 45:38There was an opinion called Where
- 45:47is it?
- 45:50This case was a I Thought I pulled the right case.
- 45:57It looks like I might have pulled the wrong one Because club GQ Apparently
- 46:06either got sued or sued the city of Lake Ozark when this all occurred so
- 46:15that case was Where is it?
- 46:28Let's see that case was Well crap, I can't find it.
- 46:38I'm really frustrated because I pulled it out before so I would have it
- 46:41available and No, it's not here.
- 46:45And so it is I'm gonna give it one more effort to see if I can find it and Get
- 46:54that Jack's reference so that we can Show where it is, but apparently that is
- 47:02not gonna happen today In order to get that but at any rate there has been a
- 47:11Lawsuit filed today for a case relating to this Topic
- 47:23and specifically it's targeting the Use of
- 47:33Liquor control law to regulate a Sexually oriented business so
- 47:43there's been there's I think it's Something that you know, I might have to look
- 47:50around for an interview or something.
- 47:52Let's let's think about this Here's what the law at At 573 531 which was
- 47:59enacted on the 28th of August of 2010 and it said up until December 30 2016
- 48:07December 31, I'm sorry It it gave those Space distances then it said also no
- 48:14person shall establish a sexually oriented business if a person with an
- 48:21Influential interest in the business has been convicted or pled guilty to any
- 48:26specified criminal act Okay, so you can't be a criminal and open up one of
- 48:31these No person shall knowingly or intentionally in a sexually oriented
- 48:37business appear in a state of nudity meaning completely nude No employee shall
- 48:45knowingly or intentionally Appear in a semi nude condition unless while semi
- 48:53nude Shall be and remain on a fixed fixed stage six feet from all patrons and
- 49:0118 inches from the floor in a room that is at least 600 square feet Those are
- 49:09some pretty Pretty serious restrictions right now anybody that's been inside GQ
- 49:15knows that This has never been the case that these Because the reason is is
- 49:25because they have been in business already and they were somewhat grandfathered
- 49:30in.
- 49:30Okay No employee who appears in a semi nude condition in a sexually oriented
- 49:36business shall knowingly or Intentionally touch a patron or the clothing of a
- 49:42patron in a sexually oriented business Huh Curious, but that also has you know
- 49:51It's something that's been going on for years and every strip club you ever go
- 49:54in a sexually oriented business Which exhibits on the premises through any
- 49:59mechanical or electronic image producing device a film video cassette.
- 50:04Yeah We don't care about that Let's see.
- 50:08That one's about filming.
- 50:09Nobody cares about that sexually oriented business that do not have stages or
- 50:16Configurations to meet the minimum requirements of the above paragraphs shall
- 50:20be given 180 days after 2010 August 28 to comply Right.
- 50:28No operator shall allow or permit a sexually oriented business to be open
- 50:33between the hours of midnight in 6 a.m That's not the case in any of these
- 50:40places.
- 50:40They all stay open till 1 1 30 just like liquor Number nine, no person shall
- 50:45knowingly or intentionally sell use or consume alcohol on the premises of a
- 50:51sexually oriented business Except you should put comma except those that have
- 50:56been in existence since before the entry into force this This law the other
- 51:03one.
- 51:04No person shall knowingly allow person under the age of 18 on the premises
- 51:08Okay, that makes sense, right so that's the law and there's been a couple of
- 51:12changes of that law over the years Well now the
- 51:24division of alcohol and Tobacco or whatever it is Department of Public Safety
- 51:30alcohol and tobacco control.
- 51:32Is it whatever they are That's an agency of this state is now Attacking One or
- 51:42two of these places Specifically at the lake.
- 51:46Okay, although it they they may be targeting because apparently Somebody has
- 51:52come in who wants to use the alcohol statutes?
- 51:57to attack them on the on the basis of the fact that they're a sexually oriented
- 52:03business now the reason I thought this was interesting is because I I
- 52:12happen to know some of the people who are involved in the GQ business, okay,
- 52:20and I understand how and why and I also have heard about some of the
- 52:26Enforcement that has been going on there and that place has a Good reputation,
- 52:35you know, the cops don't you know, there's not a lot of you know, they're not
- 52:41Arresting people out, you know, there's not fights not craziness not
- 52:44prostitution.
- 52:45None of that stuff and The place has been run by the same guy for a long time
- 52:52and it's What if he if he wants to be interviewed I should be happy to
- 52:57interview him and I've got a request out See if they will allow that and maybe
- 53:03he will and I think it would be interesting to do so and You know, you don't
- 53:10have to agree with the business, but the reason I'm interested is because once
- 53:13again, it's the state targeting specific people specific businesses specific
- 53:22actors Imposing its morality upon certain people.
- 53:29I Have never been that type of person.
- 53:32I have never been for that.
- 53:34I am A Libertarian sort do I want there to be you know prostitution in my
- 53:41backyard?
- 53:41No Do I want there to be a strip club in my backyard?
- 53:45No, I do not.
- 53:46Do I want to I don't know what have Street walkers, you know in the event that
- 53:52you know, you're in certain areas of of You know the inner city I do not do I
- 54:00think that's what we have in Lake Ozark.
- 54:02No, I don't do I think that you know, it's a Valid business and a good business
- 54:10and a way for people to make money and including the girls that work there That
- 54:16is important it is Important that this is what I want to talk about and where I
- 54:20want to go.
- 54:21I want to get more information about this and figure out exactly the Impetus
- 54:28behind this because it's my understanding that they are Attacking specifically
- 54:35this They're asking for a ruling in Cole County against And
- 54:45they might be bouncing it.
- 54:47There's a procedure to go all the way to the Supreme Court if it's a question
- 54:50of Particular importance which this appears to be It's a First Amendment kind
- 54:57of right, you know and whether this grandfathering Exists and whether Alcohol
- 55:05and tobacco control can enforce or be the police arm of a different chapter of
- 55:14chapter 573 when they regulate the chapter 303 whatever chapter 3 is of Alcohol
- 55:21control, right?
- 55:23They don't have they aren't the enforcement arm for I don't think anything gave
- 55:28the The gave them the authority under constitutional authority or otherwise No
- 55:35regulation same thing.
- 55:36I've said same thing.
- 55:38I have said about the Missouri bar.
- 55:41I say about alcohol and tobacco control Do they have the authority to regulate?
- 55:51under chapter 573 Sexually-oriented businesses, where did they get just like
- 56:00remember when it wouldn't when I was given the Discussion with Ike and that
- 56:04beautiful collar called in and she said you know what gave the what gave the
- 56:14Enforcement arm the you know the these Department of Public Safety, I believe
- 56:21was them.
- 56:21Also, what gave them the right to regulate?
- 56:23to Who gave them the right to impose?
- 56:29constitutional Can or unconstitutional cameras upon us, you know Although they
- 56:36have the authority to regulate the streets and whatnot who said who gave them
- 56:41the right to film Everything and keep track of people Statewide, you know if I
- 56:49drive across state They know it Right if they have cameras everywhere have they
- 56:55created that, you know, like we went through in the Ike thing It's again.
- 56:59These are governmental Overreach Parameters that they just go too far.
- 57:08They go overboard and They push somebody has to push back and it looks like GQ
- 57:16is pushing back And I'm very interested in where this case goes and how it ends
- 57:21up I'm I'm interested in it and I hope that other people are interested too and
- 57:27you might not be interested in the topic the topic might be Something that
- 57:31you'd prefer.
- 57:32I didn't talk about or prefer that it was you know something else that was I
- 57:40Don't know maybe a different kind of overreach, but the fact is the freedom of
- 57:44speech your freedom of speech Might not be My freedom of speech, you know what
- 57:51I'm saying?
- 57:51It might be something else it might be You might Think
- 58:02that is just wrong to have that kind of a a business.
- 58:07That's okay.
- 58:08That's you're right frankly, I'm not sure I want to you know that I'd want to
- 58:13Own one of those or be a part of one of those or anything like but that doesn't
- 58:18mean that they don't provide a valid form of Earning a living for other people
- 58:25and You know to each their own I say And you like like when people were talking
- 58:33about gay marriage.
- 58:34I was like, well, what is this gonna do?
- 58:36What's gonna happen next?
- 58:38What's gonna happen when the polygamist comes back and goes?
- 58:40Well, wait a minute Why is that?
- 58:44Okay I disagree with this Astronomically, you know and these people ought to
- 58:50have their heads ripped off the but what about these minor?
- 58:55Attracted people in other words pedophiles.
- 58:58What if they want to have a bride of the age of 12?
- 59:01You know, they do these people need to be protected somehow You should be able
- 59:06to restrict that kind of activity.
- 59:09Don't you think?
- 59:11and and I think it's a very Interesting and curious Role that we're going
- 59:21through so I have seen that a declaratory judgment has been Requested that they
- 59:31are attempting to find out whether or not the state can Target them
- 59:40after they've been Somewhat Grandfathered in on the topic of free speech
- 59:47There's no there's no question about that and I'm very interested to see where
- 59:51this goes and whether any other sexually oriented businesses of that type join
- 59:57in now I saw or or or happen to know some of the facts I've read some of it and
- 1:00:06They're claiming that the state is Telling them that They're
- 1:00:16a girl wearing a Thong bikini, you know a dancer that's wearing a thong
- 1:00:26or string bikini It's lewd lewd activity because her butt cheeks are shown and
- 1:00:36And That Because of this law that went in place in 2010.
- 1:00:43They cannot sell alcohol In a place where there's lewd activity going on.
- 1:00:51Well, I Challenge anybody Anytime to go to any lake area bar where
- 1:01:01there's a pool and They're serving alcohol everywhere and tell me that they're
- 1:01:06not serving alcohol in a place where there's lewd activity going on and Tell me
- 1:01:13that you know, you can't serve alcohol where that sort of thing is going on now
- 1:01:17that's the public and it's not a Strip club what makes it lewd in a strip club?
- 1:01:25When it's not lewd in the swimming pool Very curious, don't you?
- 1:01:31Don't you agree?
- 1:01:33I Think that this is overreach, but who the hell am I?
- 1:01:37I'll be very interested to see where this case goes Very curious to speak to
- 1:01:46some of my friends on this and get some more information very curious to see
- 1:01:53where the Court comes down on this and If this will go a whole
- 1:02:02lot further or not let us Look at a couple of other things and then that I will
- 1:02:12talk to you about So basically Let's go through a couple of adult expression
- 1:02:21cases Some states how you know the Republic theory and how states get involved
- 1:02:28with this because we're Missouri and I'll get into Missouri Missouri has
- 1:02:33alcohol separation and a strict conduct state sexually or a business statute
- 1:02:41restricts hours distances and bans alcohol in the SOB and this rule of lewdness
- 1:02:50Bars exposing any part of the female Areola anywhere liquor is sold The Supreme
- 1:02:59Court blessed this statute in a sellovers cost her in 2011.
- 1:03:04Okay Oregon it's a liberal leaning free expression model Oregon courts have
- 1:03:11read article 1 section 8 quite broadly Many clubs in the Portland area are
- 1:03:18fully nude with alcohol Under local licensing subject to local distance conduct
- 1:03:24rules, right?
- 1:03:26Texas conservative plus a sin tax angle a common pattern no alcohol if there is
- 1:03:34full nudity, right and The famous poll tax which is a fee on Sexually oriented
- 1:03:42business that was upheld the they use Dallas as an example city that layers
- 1:03:48zoning plus licensing Utah is the most restrictive treats full nudity harshly
- 1:03:57no alcohol with full nudity and Extensive no touch on stage only rules Use as
- 1:04:06the tightest reins sort of example Yes, so they are very very Well, very
- 1:04:14Mormon, why don't we just say that Georgia has local bans on alcohol, but they
- 1:04:19do have full nudity There's a line of cases that they bar full nudity semi
- 1:04:27-nudity only with strict rules Florida is a mixed location They trend more
- 1:04:34stricter on ages.
- 1:04:36So localities vary on alcohol and nudity But statewide say that performers have
- 1:04:42to be 21 or older in 2024-25 There was a challenge to this but it was dropped
- 1:04:50after the 11th Circuit signaled approval of that restriction You know you
- 1:05:00know, I already told you a little bit about Las Vegas and Pahrump and all of
- 1:05:05that and outside of the US Germany 2002 Prostitution
- 1:05:15Act recognized prostitution contracts 2017 they ran a Prostitution Protection
- 1:05:23Act that added registration and permits and it's legal but very regulated,
- 1:05:30right?
- 1:05:31In the Netherlands, they're also licensed.
- 1:05:33They had a 2000 reform that lifted the brothel ban and Pushed licensing and
- 1:05:39anti-drug trafficking enforcement Amsterdam has continued to debate relocating
- 1:05:45or reducing the size of the windows.
- 1:05:47I was telling you about In the UK they have licensed the venue not the speech
- 1:05:53lap-dancing clubs are called sexual entertainment venues under policing and
- 1:06:00Crime Act of 2009 and local councils can cap or deny Based on how many are in
- 1:06:07the in the area United Arab Emirates they have a prohibition and Selective
- 1:06:16enforcement sounds like the u.s. Prostitution is illegal, but enforcement
- 1:06:21varies especially in Dubai Meaning you can get away with it in Dubai what goes
- 1:06:27on into days in Dubai, right?
- 1:06:30so basically, there's some laws that Let's have a look I told you a little bit
- 1:06:39about some of them the the 2025 porn that was Enacted that basically that has
- 1:06:49to do with the website or you know porn viewing on online But there's a whole
- 1:06:57bunch of these cases Barnes versus Glenn Theatre in 1991.
- 1:07:02They said it was Pasties and g-strings are acceptable limitations to public in
- 1:07:09indecency laws FW PBS versus Dallas.
- 1:07:15There's a judicial review.
- 1:07:17That's for 93 u.s. 215 And in Missouri, let's talk about this
- 1:07:27The SOB regime, which is 573-537 we have our limits distances from school and
- 1:07:35churches Liquor license venues Local ordinances must keep track of secondary
- 1:07:45effects and gentlemen's quarters actually sued the city of Lake Ozark on this
- 1:07:52way back in 2002 in the city lost because it didn't show a secondary effects
- 1:07:58purpose to the to the Law that they were attempting to enact so I don't know if
- 1:08:08this is speech versus imposition of your own brand of Tea on people I think is
- 1:08:14important to consider when you think about these kind of things Vegas then
- 1:08:19versus Vegas now Missouri then versus, Missouri now You know the prompt reality
- 1:08:28check.
- 1:08:29There's only two brothels now.
- 1:08:30There used to be quite a few more you know, I was there in the 90s and I
- 1:08:35remember that it was famous even to the Russian and They but I remember one of
- 1:08:41them wanted to go and buy a menu So we went into the entrance where you enter
- 1:08:48on the bar on the one side and then they sell the menu but you can see into
- 1:08:54Kind of the saloon area if you will of the of the Brothel and and you know that
- 1:09:01that was rather entertaining and a lot of them wanted to buy Menus and take
- 1:09:05them home to to their country, you know, cuz that is not allowed in Russia At
- 1:09:12least it never was Let's see and I Don't know if there's gonna but there will
- 1:09:21be some new case law coming from this and I find it a an interesting Topic no
- 1:09:31matter how you slice it.
- 1:09:32I'd be interested in knowing about the enforcement Of these and how
- 1:09:42come they Are beginning to attempt to enforce it now whether there's a new boss
- 1:09:55of the Alcohol and tobacco control, I don't know but this this could be a An
- 1:10:05interesting case and something to keep track of and I intend to keep track of
- 1:10:13this case and See where it goes Because Again I'm
- 1:10:23pretty much a person who believes In thee I don't care
- 1:10:33what you do.
- 1:10:33You can do whatever it is.
- 1:10:35You do as long as it impact me Long as it doesn't interfere with My freedom.
- 1:10:43I don't care what your definition of freedom is and You know, I don't of
- 1:10:51course, but I'm not a person who attempts to regulate other people there are
- 1:10:58plenty of people out there who want to regulate other folks and I believe
- 1:11:08we have far too many of those individuals in our midst and They seem to
- 1:11:14gravitate toward the government I think those people should stay in the jobs
- 1:11:21like I don't know running a McDonald's where they can tell people what to do
- 1:11:26but it's like the I call them regulators the regulator who drives slow in the
- 1:11:35fast lane who gets in the fast lane and Doesn't use it to pass people They use
- 1:11:45it To by God I can go 70 because that's the speed limit and I can go 70 if
- 1:11:51that's where I want to be regardless of your desire to go faster in the fast
- 1:11:56lane and to go because they are very intent upon regulating other people Those
- 1:12:05are people that are government employees They Want to tell everybody else what
- 1:12:13to do they want to but they'll also be the first ones to make exceptions for
- 1:12:18themselves and their friends or Help them get out of trouble if they violated
- 1:12:23something, you know, if you if you kiss up to them You know, I you always find
- 1:12:28those people to be the ones that you that are Pliant when other people but if
- 1:12:33they want to regulate someone.
- 1:12:35Oh, no.
- 1:12:36No, no.
- 1:12:36No, no They're not so pliant after that right Anyway, I think I have spoken
- 1:12:45enough on that topic.
- 1:12:46I may give you some further information upon it as we go throughout the week
- 1:12:53and I did want to Talk about a couple of other things
- 1:13:05Let's see The one of the biggest things we talked about a little bit last night
- 1:13:15Because I strongly disagree with this but apparently the Polish president is
- 1:13:21Having a lot of trouble with What it what he calls?
- 1:13:27Nazi collaborators and he thinks these people should be deported Any
- 1:13:38Ukrainian involved in glorifying Ukrainian Nazi collaborators such as Stepan
- 1:13:45Bandera should face Prosecution said Polish President Karol Nowrocki Adding
- 1:13:52that such behavior has no place in Poland.
- 1:13:55I remember Stepan Bandera killed By all accounts a hundred thousand plus
- 1:14:01hundred to a hundred and twenty thousand Polish people He was commenting on a
- 1:14:07recent incident involving the display of a flag used by Ukrainian Nazi
- 1:14:13collaborators at a rap concert in Poland a group of concert goers showed a flag
- 1:14:20of the Ukrainian army the insurgent army a Paramilitary force involved in the
- 1:14:27ethnic cleansing of Poles in World War two at the event in Warsaw The incident
- 1:14:36sparked a nationwide outcry and prompted the authorities to start deportation
- 1:14:41procedures against more than 60 foreign nationals mostly Ukrainians The rock we
- 1:14:50slammed the incident as scandalous symbols used by the Ukrainian Nazi
- 1:14:55collaborators and their modern admirer Should be outlawed in Poland He told the
- 1:15:02Polsat News in an interview aired on Tuesday and he urged the parliament to
- 1:15:07swiftly adopt relevant legislation he said that such displays are unacceptable
- 1:15:12and Called for very decisive Response that should involve expulsion of any
- 1:15:19Ukrainian involved in activities when asked if the incident could have been a
- 1:15:26provocation He maintained that such shameful behavior cannot be excused for any
- 1:15:32reason or circumstance just a day after the interview a 17 year old Ukrainian
- 1:15:39was detained for painting Ukrainian neo-nazi flags on buildings and monuments
- 1:15:46in Warsaw as well as desecrating a monument to Polish UPA victims and By
- 1:15:54inscribing glory to the UPA on it Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk rushed to
- 1:16:01blame the incident on Moscow By claiming the subject was recruited by Moscow to
- 1:16:08carry out acts of sabotage According to the president Nazi collaborators such
- 1:16:14as Stepan Bandera and the UPA are not Presented in Ukraine in a historically
- 1:16:21accurate way Ukrainians are not taught about the atrocities they committed in
- 1:16:26school These people were murderers degenerates who are responsible for the
- 1:16:32death of approximately 120 Thousand Poles he said now Kiev is never admitted to
- 1:16:41this type of behavior and they still deny it their reluctance to take
- 1:16:46responsibility For this These atrocities by this Ukrainian Nazi collaborators
- 1:16:55during World War two Always create a fresh Batch of thorns between Kiev and
- 1:17:04Warsaw and But Warsaw is still a pretty big backer of Ukraine and so, you know,
- 1:17:14it's it's unfortunate that we still have to have these discussions about these
- 1:17:20SS flags and the swastika that are prevalent on Ukrainian nationalist uniforms
- 1:17:29I I can't imagine that they don't teach this in their schools, but according to
- 1:17:34popular Russian and many other, you know Europeans say the same that they you
- 1:17:41know Have sent Ukrainians Units that come with these symbols on their uniform
- 1:17:50insignia They've sent them back from Germany from France.
- 1:17:55They have sent them home and so you can't be here Wearing these insignia take
- 1:18:01them off change your unit something but they don't see it that way you know as
- 1:18:07what it is, I Can't imagine that they don't understand What they're doing to
- 1:18:16people Crazy crazy crazy there was a Another
- 1:18:26story, you know how I have an affiliation and I like to watch For Natural
- 1:18:38disasters, you know, I have kind of this horror story affiliation with
- 1:18:43Tornadoes or obsession I suppose tornadoes Hurricanes earthquakes volcanoes
- 1:18:52well a Natural disaster Erased an entire village 1,100 were
- 1:19:01evacuated, but the but the Himalayan Indian state of Uttarakhand says that they
- 1:19:09still believe there are probably a hundred or more buried under debris As well
- 1:19:18for Urmila Parashpi a 48 year old resident of in the West Indian state of
- 1:19:27Maharashtra it was a miracle to come out alive from the town of Dharali, which
- 1:19:33was swept away in India's worst Himalayan disaster since 2013 Urmila was with a
- 1:19:41group of six people in a car when she saw a huge debris Coming from the hills
- 1:19:47descending upon the town an important intersection to reach the Hindu
- 1:19:52pilgrimage site of Gangotri It was in the afternoon of August 5th The human
- 1:20:01cost of the disaster is still unfolding Urmila was lucky enough to have
- 1:20:08survived the incident A local resident has been begging officials to search for
- 1:20:16her missing 40 year old son Who used to run a Magi and a tea shop I have not
- 1:20:22heard from him since the incident happened and his mobile has been switched off
- 1:20:27Tell me if he is alive and I will go home take me to the town and I will find
- 1:20:31him myself She said to an officer According to the you got to see these
- 1:20:38pictures.
- 1:20:39It's Terrible terrible terrible Half buildings are half buried.
- 1:20:46It looks like Wow.
- 1:20:49It's These sorts of catastrophes do occur and Tell you
- 1:20:59what it is Unfortunate, let's see if there's anything we got about ten more
- 1:21:05minutes.
- 1:21:05I know there was a A Opinion piece that I wanted to read or that I might not
- 1:21:14have gotten into Let's see, no, I've shared most of that with you
- 1:21:28Here's a latest another Ukrainian Ready Zelensky's travel ban Relaxation
- 1:21:38will be selective So allegedly men under the age of 22 Will be allowed to leave
- 1:21:45Ukraine if they have a foreign issued study visa Said Sergei you have to shook
- 1:21:51Who's a MP?
- 1:21:54the relaxation of Ukraine's ban on traveling abroad for men under the age of 22
- 1:22:00recently Which was announced by Zelensky will apply to very few people and I I
- 1:22:09still can't get over this so I'm gonna repeat it to you all men between the
- 1:22:13ages of 18 and 60 Have been barred from leaving the country during martial law
- 1:22:21the ban sparked widespread Attempts to cross the border illegally a lot of
- 1:22:26stories about men dressing up like women to try to get across But on Tuesday's
- 1:22:31Zelensky announced on telegram He ordered the government and military to change
- 1:22:36the rules to remove any restrictions faced at the border by men under 22 he
- 1:22:42said That this would be a step to help young Ukrainian men to maintain ties
- 1:22:52With their homeland and return to Ukraine for study According to this MP
- 1:22:58however, the new rules won't cover all Ukrainian men between the ages of 18 and
- 1:23:0422 because then you'd have to relax conscription regulation a man reaching 18
- 1:23:11years of age becomes Liable for military service up until he reaches 60 under
- 1:23:17the law That's why I don't think the law will be changed.
- 1:23:21He said to YouTube The MP believes that a man in this age group Seeking to
- 1:23:28depart will still need to come up with a valid reason So Zelensky sounds like
- 1:23:34anyone without exception get a permit to leave said you have shoot ik Adding
- 1:23:39that he believes that only those having an invitation or a study visa will
- 1:23:45actually be able to travel abroad Although he said that is his opinion
- 1:23:49Ukrainian authorities have struggled to deal with draft evasion and frankly
- 1:23:55with Desertion is huge as well.
- 1:24:01I told you about that Ukrainian Border Patrol has stopped thousands of people
- 1:24:09from running out of the country in fact some even going so far as Shooting them
- 1:24:19People have died attempting to escape having been shot by the For trying to
- 1:24:28leave the country Isn't that crazy?
- 1:24:33Well, let's go to my final story of the night, right?
- 1:24:41This I can't I can't believe it let's call him Hawk Remember my who I call Hawk
- 1:24:50US Senator Lindsey Graham has called any weakening of American aid to Israel
- 1:24:59means that God will God will Divinely intervene on behalf of Israel if we
- 1:25:09don't give them money This guy I tell you this is something wrong with him
- 1:25:15There's something wrong with this guy if America pulls the plug on Israel God
- 1:25:22will pull the plug on us Who in the world is this lunatic He's
- 1:25:31nuts the Republican senator made the remarks at the 58th annual Silver Elephant
- 1:25:38Gala a major party fundraiser held in South Carolina He actually went to his
- 1:25:44own state.
- 1:25:45Isn't he from South Carolina?
- 1:25:48Over the weekend and he shared his speech with a broader audience on social
- 1:25:52media He showered praise on Israel for abstaining from committing genocide
- 1:26:00Despite being in full capacity to do so here.
- 1:26:03Listen to this Israel is our friend That's it.
- 1:26:09They're the most reliable friend we have in the Middle East They are democracy
- 1:26:15Surrounded by people who would cut their throats if they could he claimed
- 1:26:19adding that somehow Weakening support to Israel will result in divine
- 1:26:25punishment for America Senators remarks came shortly after Israel announced its
- 1:26:31plan to occupy Gaza City One of the few areas of the strip the military does
- 1:26:38not control The scheme touted by Israel as a Roadmap to concluding the war with
- 1:26:47the Palestinian militant group Hamas Has been dragging on for two years and has
- 1:26:53received overwhelmingly negative in the West The occupation plan has been
- 1:27:01condemned by multiple organizations.
- 1:27:04In fact Many countries are saying they will recognize The Palestinian state
- 1:27:11including I told you the other day including Australia Excuse me.
- 1:27:19Oh Isn't this crazy?
- 1:27:22The occupation plan has been condemned by multiple organizations all except for
- 1:27:29the US, you know many other countries have You know Condemned what they're
- 1:27:35doing Killed 40,000 civilians 47 I forget what the last number and the u.s. Of
- 1:27:43course doesn't say anything because of people like like Lindsey Graham Shortly,
- 1:27:49you know, I'm not being fair because I can't stand Lindsey Graham and his
- 1:27:52constant more war more war more war yelling Shortly before the plan was in
- 1:28:01unveiled even Trump said it was pretty much up to Israel Whether to occupy, you
- 1:28:08know, the Gaza Graham a strong backer of Israel I don't know that it's just
- 1:28:15Israel.
- 1:28:16I think it's anybody that you know, he can sell weapons, too That's what I say.
- 1:28:21I don't know that it's necessarily Just Israel They're going to do in Gaza what
- 1:28:28we did Tokoyo and Berlin take the place by force and start over again.
- 1:28:34He said in July Suggesting that Washington the mediator and the stalled Israel
- 1:28:38Hamas peace process Actually believed that there was no way to negotiate an end
- 1:28:44to this war either Jeez, I hate that guy Yeah, hate what he stands for.
- 1:28:51Let's put it that way I don't know the guy who usually you got to get to know
- 1:28:55somebody before you can hate him But I sure hate what he stands for.
- 1:28:58My name is Samuel trap.
