- 1:25Speaker 2: often imitated, never duplicated. Back, we are back. Welcome.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We missed you.
- 1:34Speaker 2: You should have.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I mean, we were like, our lives were not the same.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:38Speaker 1: We're like, where is Heather? demanding we call her each morning.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You left us to die. I didn't really feel that
- 1:47Speaker 4: was reciprocated, that we missed us, really.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh, my God, I totally miss you. And there was
- 1:51Speaker 2: so much to catch up on. And I'm like, I'm dying,
- 1:54Speaker 2: I'm dying. And then you're like, at like a 10
- 1:57Speaker 2: on a Thursday, you're like, we will call you Friday morning.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I'm like, Friday morning?
- 2:03Speaker 4: It was the next morning, yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 1: We were like, Heather needs to wait. She has abandoned
- 2:08Speaker 1: us for three weeks. our friendship i'm like does she even.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Care about us yeah i know oh my god but.
- 2:16Speaker 1: You know what the funny thing about you and this
- 2:18Speaker 1: is what people don't really i don't think they understand
- 2:22Speaker 1: you got you did more locally social things in italy
- 2:29Speaker 1: and france and got more i was like did she
- 2:32Speaker 1: She saw more people that we know abroad than we
- 2:36Speaker 1: saw in the last three weeks.
- 2:37Speaker 2: That's true. It's so funny. So for those of you
- 2:40Speaker 2: who don't know, and I can't believe that you don't,
- 2:41Speaker 2: please realize that I was in France and Italy, Saint-Tropez, Cannes,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and then Capri, Positano, and then on a mega yacht
- 2:52Speaker 2: with these fabulous friends that I met through Kelly Dawn
- 2:57Speaker 2: Leventhal and And so we only had one day where
- 3:00Speaker 2: we crossed over because basically they're living on this yacht
- 3:03Speaker 2: for a couple months. And if you've seen Below Deck,
- 3:08Speaker 2: what I was on makes Below Deck look like a
- 3:12Speaker 2: fishing boat from, what was that Steinbeck, Old Man and
- 3:17Speaker 2: the Sea or whatever that was. That's what it makes
- 3:20Speaker 2: it look like.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Well, I think Jill Zarin said it best. Like where are,
- 3:25Speaker 1: where's the mouthwash? Where's the Q-tips?
- 3:27Speaker 2: By the way, I talked about it on my Patreon.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You can join at Heather McDowell on that, I suggest
- 3:32Speaker 2: you do. And I forgot to finish that story because
- 3:36Speaker 2: I was telling everybody about it. And yes, in every bathroom,
- 3:40Speaker 2: we had a beautiful suite. And in my suite was
- 3:44Speaker 2: an expensive face serum, shampoo, conditioner, hair serum. all the
- 3:52Speaker 2: accoutrements for your hair. You want to blow it, you
- 3:54Speaker 2: want to straighten it. But I didn't need to because
- 3:58Speaker 2: one of the fabulous crew members, one of the stews,
- 4:02Speaker 2: is also a hairdresser. And we went into the parlor
- 4:08Speaker 2: part where there are two stations, hair stations, to get
- 4:12Speaker 2: your hair blown out and done. And so the last day...
- 4:15Speaker 2: I did get my hair blown out and done. It
- 4:16Speaker 2: never stopped. I ate so much. The food was absolutely
- 4:19Speaker 2: tears in my eyes, crying how delicious everything was. Peter
- 4:23Speaker 2: and I never turned down a meal, a dessert, an appetizer.
- 4:26Speaker 4: Oh, it must have been a meal. I mean, just
- 4:29Speaker 4: the pasta alone.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And we were swimming every day.
- 4:32Speaker 1: There's candles in every room. Every day.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Well, no, no candles because I think that's like a
- 4:37Speaker 2: fire hazard.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Well, we got candles from your lovely hosts because we...
- 4:43Speaker 1: learned what candles she has on the yacht.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And we ordered them.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And now we have them at home as if we're
- 4:51Speaker 1: on the yacht with you.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 4:52Speaker 4: We play we're on the yacht once a week.
- 4:54Speaker 2: We probably did. I don't even know. But every day
- 4:56Speaker 2: there was a different place setting for every single meal.
- 4:59Speaker 2: So different silverware, gold or silver, all different plates, different placemats,
- 5:04Speaker 2: different things. The girls and the guys all wore different
- 5:08Speaker 2: uniforms every single day that were stylish, cute uniforms, the
- 5:11Speaker 2: cutest uniforms you've ever seen. On another yacht, I saw
- 5:14Speaker 2: what they were wearing and I was like, like, yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 2: our girls had like spaghetti strap, like body suits in
- 5:22Speaker 2: a different color with the skort. And then the guys
- 5:25Speaker 2: wore like the polo version of that color.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But were you guys formal dining, like dressing for dinner?
- 5:30Speaker 2: A little bit, like I'd throw on some stuff, but
- 5:32Speaker 2: other times it was like, it didn't really matter. It
- 5:34Speaker 2: was very casual. But sometimes I'd throw on a dress.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I only once did I really do my hair or anything.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I mean, we swam every day, jet ski, It was
- 5:44Speaker 2: just so fun. And I went in detail with it
- 5:50Speaker 2: on the Patreon. But after we left the yacht, we
- 5:53Speaker 2: had two days in Rome.
- 5:55Speaker 1: And now you were forced to do tourist stuff, which
- 5:57Speaker 1: you made clear to us. You were looking for poolside,
- 6:02Speaker 1: sexy breasts, tanning.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Listen, the reason I never went is because Shannon, my sister,
- 6:07Speaker 2: went to Greece between her sophomore and junior year of
- 6:10Speaker 2: college through some program. Went to a bunch of places.
- 6:14Speaker 2: She did that. And I thought, oh, I'll do that
- 6:16Speaker 2: too through the school or whatever. And when we picked
- 6:20Speaker 2: her up and she told me how hot it was
- 6:21Speaker 2: in Greece and that in their crappy place they had
- 6:24Speaker 2: no air conditioning and that she and her sorority sister
- 6:28Speaker 2: or whatever were laying– naked on wet towels and then
- 6:32Speaker 2: looked up and saw a guy jerking off to them.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I said, I think I'm going to wait until I'm
- 6:35Speaker 2: 50 and rich enough to go to a hotel with
- 6:38Speaker 2: air conditioning. And that's what I did. And that's what
- 6:40Speaker 2: I did. So yes, there were still times it was
- 6:43Speaker 2: very hot. It's, you know, very crowded, whatever. But we,
- 6:48Speaker 2: that's why I wanted to be near the sea, swim
- 6:50Speaker 2: as much as possible, enjoy it like that.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I do want to say Julie and I did go
- 6:56Speaker 1: to the Colosseum in Rome.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh yes.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yes. You were in Athens or were you in Rome?
- 7:02Speaker 2: No, we went to Rome and we were staying in
- 7:03Speaker 2: a great hotel right across from the Colosseum and we
- 7:06Speaker 2: went to the Colosseum.
- 7:06Speaker 1: So we did that the same exact, actually we might've
- 7:09Speaker 1: been August. It was hotter than the seven suns. And
- 7:14Speaker 1: I did think I was going to lose my life.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Like I was like, I can't, it's like dirt. I
- 7:18Speaker 1: don't know if it's reflecting off and it's so hot
- 7:22Speaker 1: and it's like, Fuck the history. We don't care. Literally,
- 7:26Speaker 1: it could be like, this is where Jesus walked in.
- 7:28Speaker 1: It's like, I can't deal. And so, and that, I
- 7:31Speaker 1: know this had to have happened with you guys because
- 7:34Speaker 1: nobody plans. And you think you're just going to roll
- 7:36Speaker 1: up and be like, get in the line. And be like,
- 7:38Speaker 1: let's just walk through at our leisure. And it's 15 minutes. And, oh,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that's neat. That's where they did like the killing and stuff.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And like Russell Crowe. And then leave.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Is this where Russell Crowe was?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Is that where he?
- 7:49Speaker 4: Is that where Russell Crowe did the movie? I mean,
- 7:52Speaker 4: we went to Paris two years ago and it was
- 7:54Speaker 4: so hot and so crowded. We almost killed each other.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I mean, now this was the only month I could
- 8:00Speaker 2: do it. But now that Brandon is going to be gone,
- 8:04Speaker 2: once I schedule my next 2025 tour, yes, I want
- 8:09Speaker 2: to go back and I want to go on months
- 8:11Speaker 2: that are not summer months to all these places, whether
- 8:14Speaker 2: it's May or September, October. I don't It is very,
- 8:18Speaker 2: but what is great about going this time is that
- 8:20Speaker 2: the water is so warm. So when you're on the
- 8:22Speaker 2: mega yacht, it doesn't matter. But when you're like walking
- 8:25Speaker 2: up the steps of Positano, I mean, like it was just, okay.
- 8:30Speaker 2: So then Peter had ordered this thing that is a
- 8:33Speaker 2: fan that you clip onto your pants. You can put
- 8:36Speaker 2: under your shirt.
- 8:37Speaker 3: What? Yes.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It arrived once we got home and he put it
- 8:42Speaker 2: on and I'm like, oh my God. We are contacting
- 8:46Speaker 2: this company. I am going to sell it. It is amazing,
- 8:48Speaker 2: and everyone should have one. Every menopausal woman and everybody traveling,
- 8:52Speaker 2: it's genius.
- 8:53Speaker 1: We could have it under our skirts right now.
- 8:56Speaker 2: It's not expensive. It's $ 10.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Well, when we're done, they're going to give the name
- 9:01Speaker 4: and the thing. I'm so annoyed that I don't have
- 9:02Speaker 4: a grift.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Did you guys get grifted? Well, first of all, we
- 9:04Speaker 2: got a little scammed at the Coliseum. So let me
- 9:07Speaker 2: tell you quickly what happened.
- 9:08Speaker 3: So.
- 9:10Speaker 2: We get up. By the way, what I also love
- 9:13Speaker 2: is I can't get over the free breakfast at every
- 9:16Speaker 2: hotel that we stayed at because normally the nicer hotels
- 9:20Speaker 2: you go to in America do not include a free breakfast.
- 9:23Speaker 2: They don't even have a Keurig in your room, which
- 9:25Speaker 2: is one of the reasons I don't like very nice
- 9:27Speaker 2: hotels because sometimes I just want a fucking coffee right
- 9:30Speaker 2: then as I get ready to do my show or
- 9:32Speaker 2: wake up in the morning. I just want the gross,
- 9:34Speaker 2: cheap coffee. Well, this, anything you want, every hotel, it was...
- 9:39Speaker 2: specialty eggs, full buffet, if you want a latte, all included.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I'm just shocked by it. Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 4: So good.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I love a European. I think a free breakfast is
- 9:48Speaker 2: like the most shocking thing of it all.
- 9:50Speaker 4: There's nothing, for whatever reason, and then there's like a
- 9:52Speaker 4: tray of like ham and turkey and cheese.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's wet, but it's fine.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I don't care. yeah so i don't care tomato sliced
- 9:58Speaker 4: tomatoes cottage cheese dates it's like like.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Lunch food in the morning oh yeah.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah bread of every kind baguettes other bread croissant then
- 10:09Speaker 4: more bread it's amazing it's so great.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I know and i'm like what do you mean you
- 10:14Speaker 2: so if i get an eggs benedict that's a special
- 10:16Speaker 2: thing no it's included what so the So that was
- 10:20Speaker 2: all amazing. So we go over to the Coliseum. We
- 10:22Speaker 2: only have a day and a half there. We're only
- 10:24Speaker 2: two nights. First day, we were like super tired. We
- 10:26Speaker 2: walked around a little and then we went and I said,
- 10:31Speaker 2: where do we even buy the tickets? The guy's like
- 10:33Speaker 2: right there, right in front of the Coliseum, right there.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Peter's like, no, he's trying to do some app thing.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And then we start to like. Argue a little bit
- 10:41Speaker 2: because I'm like, why don't we just go there and
- 10:43Speaker 2: see what he's like? It's right here. And that must
- 10:45Speaker 2: have been a cue for the scammers to go, oh,
- 10:47Speaker 2: here's a middle aged couple from America bitching at each other.
- 10:50Speaker 2: They're ripe for the picking. So this guy comes over
- 10:53Speaker 2: with a cigarette and he's like, you want to see
- 10:55Speaker 2: get a private tour of the Coliseum? You can cut
- 10:58Speaker 2: into a line, go right now. I'm like, yeah, we do,
- 11:01Speaker 2: because we're seeing it like we can't go to a
- 11:03Speaker 2: four o'clock or something on the app. So he's like,
- 11:06Speaker 2: come follow me. Now we follow this other bow-legged guy
- 11:09Speaker 2: who's also smoking. Then we get to another. We go
- 11:12Speaker 2: walk very far away. Then we get to another person
- 11:14Speaker 2: who takes us across the street to this woman who's
- 11:17Speaker 2: the tour guide lady who's like, it's 100 euros. And
- 11:20Speaker 2: we're like, I go, well, I only have $ 100 bills. Well,
- 11:22Speaker 2: then it'll be 120. Okay, fine. So now we have
- 11:24Speaker 2: our $ 120. So now it's only like 9.45. And I'm like, okay,
- 11:29Speaker 2: so do we go now back to the Coliseum and
- 11:32Speaker 2: cut into the line and see the thing? No, you
- 11:34Speaker 2: have to go over here and buy your two tickets.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Two for the $ 18.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Oh, because they're the tour guides. Yes.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So, okay, so now we go back.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm still getting scammed. I'm with you right here. I
- 11:47Speaker 1: think it sounds right.
- 11:48Speaker 2: And I go, look, it's $ 120, Peter. We have a
- 11:50Speaker 2: story for the podcast. So we go over there. Now
- 11:53Speaker 2: we do get our two tickets. So we're like, worse
- 11:55Speaker 2: comes to worse. We never see these people again. We
- 11:58Speaker 2: still have tickets that are let us in at 11 o'clock. Okay?
- 12:01Speaker 2: So that's decent. So then we meet this really cute English,
- 12:06Speaker 2: black English guy. Gorgeous. And his two little sons who
- 12:10Speaker 2: are German. They speak German and English. And I'm like,
- 12:13Speaker 2: this is the cutest family. And they're part of the scam, too.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, you're part of the scam. Yeah, we're
- 12:17Speaker 2: part of the scam. Like, I didn't say scam. I'm like, oh,
- 12:19Speaker 2: are you with these weird people? Yes. And then this
- 12:22Speaker 2: other couple, okay, who are English. And so a man
- 12:26Speaker 2: and a woman. And so then now... They're like, just wait.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Get your tickets. We all buy our 18 tickets. And
- 12:31Speaker 2: we go back to the tour guide lady. And then
- 12:34Speaker 2: a new guy comes along. And it was a lady.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I thought it was a bow-legged man.
- 12:37Speaker 2: There's been seven people total involved in the scam.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And women, too.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 12:42Speaker 2: So then we get over and we're waiting. And then
- 12:43Speaker 2: a new person comes. And he goes, it's going to
- 12:46Speaker 2: be just like five minutes. And Peter goes, they're going
- 12:49Speaker 2: to stall us. because there is no cutting in line.
- 12:51Speaker 2: We're just going to go in with everybody else at 11.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my God, you're right. So now
- 12:55Speaker 2: it's like 10, 10. And then he's like, do the
- 12:57Speaker 2: little boys need to get something to eat? They probably do.
- 13:01Speaker 2: So they're going to go get something to eat and
- 13:02Speaker 2: then we'll all go together. I'm like, that's fine. They're adorable.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And like, I'm dying over the German accent.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They're like, papa.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Yeah, like, does he?
- 13:07Speaker 2: And you're like, what?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Are we on to a like that?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, we are on to a like that, darling. The
- 13:11Speaker 2: older one spoke both languages. He goes, but my little brother.
- 13:14Speaker 2: He goes, but my little brother. Only can understand the German.
- 13:18Speaker 2: He goes, he can understand English, but he can't speak it.
- 13:20Speaker 2: But he can speak German. And then you talk to him,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, my God. And Peter's like, are
- 13:25Speaker 2: you going to try to steal these kids? I'm like,
- 13:26Speaker 2: a little bit. Like, I was just, like, into the kids.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Because they love two boys. They're both two boys.
- 13:30Speaker 1: You're like, I have two sons, too.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And they're, like, gorgeous. And the guy's gorgeous. He's like, oh,
- 13:35Speaker 2: I miss Miami. I'm like, I bet you do. Gorgeous thing. OK,
- 13:38Speaker 2: so then.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Daddy, stop talking to that lady.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Daddy, why are you talking to that lady? I don't know.
- 13:49Speaker 4: I mean, German is very specific.
- 13:54Speaker 2: But it's so not scary or offensive when it's coming
- 13:57Speaker 2: out of like the most gorgeous.
- 13:58Speaker 4: A tiny child.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Like a nine-year-old gorgeous boy. So anyway, so then he's
- 14:02Speaker 2: like asking questions. It's like so smart. So anyway, so
- 14:05Speaker 2: then we finally get over to the thing. And now
- 14:08Speaker 2: we cross. And now she's talking to us and she's stalling.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Now we have the girl with the umbrella. Now we
- 14:13Speaker 2: have the ear thing and we're listening. And so I
- 14:16Speaker 2: was like, okay, so we, I'm like, so at nine 30,
- 14:19Speaker 2: I could have bought the ticket right there. Probably got
- 14:21Speaker 2: in at 10, not heard the person, but had the same, whatever.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And the person starts draining you anyway. Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 4: She's good.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Whatever. So we're walking through and then she's like, so
- 14:31Speaker 2: it's a, it's a 50 steps up. Or if you,
- 14:35Speaker 2: if you need to, you could have the elevator and, Well,
- 14:38Speaker 2: the little kids and the fit guy from my, you know,
- 14:41Speaker 2: the English guy dad, they're like, no, we'll take the stairs.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And the old English man goes, I'll take the stairs.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And the woman, the English woman, she's like, no, I
- 14:49Speaker 2: need the elevator. And Peter's like, no. Peter's like, I'm
- 14:53Speaker 2: taking the stairs too. So we walk by. I see
- 14:55Speaker 2: the stairs. And I go, no, I'm going to take
- 14:58Speaker 2: the elevator. It's hot.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Peter, see you in 30 minutes.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah. And so then the woman who's in charge of
- 15:04Speaker 2: the elevator looks down. looks at the other woman and,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you know, accepts that she needs it, okay? And looks
- 15:11Speaker 2: at me and is like, these elevators are reserved for
- 15:14Speaker 2: handicapped people only.
- 15:15Speaker 1: But were you wearing shorts and did she see the
- 15:18Speaker 1: very minuscule leg and shit going on? The legs are thin.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I could possibly be like, I don't know if those
- 15:25Speaker 1: legs can make it up the stairs.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Daddy, her legs are so skinny, daddy.
- 15:30Speaker 2: So I immediately go, I have a handicapped husband. And
- 15:35Speaker 2: then Peter looks at the stairs. He's sweaty.
- 15:39Speaker 4: He looks at me.
- 15:40Speaker 2: And he just kind of came over and just did
- 15:43Speaker 2: a little limp or two. And then we get in
- 15:46Speaker 2: the elevator. And then she starts saying something. I wasn't listening.
- 15:50Speaker 2: She's like, and you could be thrown in jail for this.
- 15:53Speaker 2: And I'm like. Wait, I could be thrown in jail
- 15:55Speaker 2: for being in the elevator if I'm not legally handicapped?
- 15:59Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, no, no. She goes, if you
- 16:01Speaker 2: were to write anything on the Coliseum walls. I was like, oh.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I just was such a fourth grade field trip. I
- 16:07Speaker 2: was just like, I can't. And then, of course, the.
- 16:10Speaker 2: The German kid was like asking, you know, all the questions,
- 16:12Speaker 2: which is great. You know, he was so smart.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Basically like Julie's like the German kid.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Oh, and then at one point we lost the hot
- 16:16Speaker 2: German dad. Well, the dad's English, but we lost their dad.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And so then I was like, stay with me. And
- 16:22Speaker 2: Peter was like, oh my God, you're so weird. And
- 16:23Speaker 2: I'm like, stay with me, boys.
- 16:24Speaker 1: And he was like, where's your dad? I just don't
- 16:26Speaker 1: want him to like never come back.
- 16:31Speaker 5: So then.
- 16:32Speaker 2: We go out, and I do my USC cheer, since
- 16:37Speaker 2: it's the Coliseum. Good, fun content. And then that was it.
- 16:42Speaker 2: And we still tipped her. Even though she was part
- 16:44Speaker 2: of the scam, we still tipped her. So were you
- 16:46Speaker 2: ripped off? We were ripped off by $ 120.
- 16:48Speaker 1: By $ 100.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I think, yes. I don't know if it was going
- 16:50Speaker 2: to be extra to have the lady or not. I
- 16:52Speaker 2: don't know. I think it was. But also, I got
- 16:54Speaker 2: ripped off for like an hour and a half of time.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Here's my experience.
- 16:57Speaker 2: We could have gone in at 9.30.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And this is real.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:59Speaker 1: The tickets get sold out, and you do have to
- 17:01Speaker 1: wait in a really long line. And like I said,
- 17:03Speaker 1: it was hotter than Seven Suns. And I don't even
- 17:05Speaker 1: recall an elevator.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Well, this is in Athens. This is at the Pantheon.
- 17:08Speaker 2: But I also have gone to.
- 17:09Speaker 1: The Coliseum, where they did say don't. whatever, and I
- 17:12Speaker 1: did steal a rock, and I do still have it.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And I was like, I will be taking this rock
- 17:16Speaker 1: from the million-year-old in days.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I'm so scared to see the YouTube comments about this rock,
- 17:21Speaker 2: but go on.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it was a pebble.
- 17:24Speaker 4: It's all cool.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Doesn't matter. Go find Brandy and pick at her.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I took the rock. So the thing is... It's like
- 17:32Speaker 1: it's a long line you can't get in, so you
- 17:34Speaker 1: pay to basically skip the line. And then, unfortunately, you
- 17:38Speaker 1: are stuck with the guide, which you don't want because
- 17:40Speaker 1: what you want to do is walk through in your
- 17:42Speaker 1: own 20-minute time and be free. And Julie and I
- 17:45Speaker 1: were stuck for hours, and we were dying.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Those thoughts, you know the ones I mean, that doesn't matter,
- 17:53Speaker 2: it's nothing, thoughts that become kind of something become a
- 17:56Speaker 2: bit much.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And day by day, the world feels heavier.
- 18:00Speaker 5: And you're holding it together just fine until suddenly you're not.
- 18:04Speaker 2: You don't have to navigate it alone.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Learn how to manage everyday pressures and unhelpful thoughts with
- 18:10Speaker 5: six weekly sessions from Aware. Find out more about the
- 18:13Speaker 5: free resilience program at aware.ie.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Aware.
- 18:17Speaker 5: This could be the start of something better.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I'm Dhar Mann, and this is What Happens Next. Each
- 18:22Speaker 3: week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
- 18:25Speaker 3: who have faced tremendous setbacks. And yet somehow have found
- 18:30Speaker 3: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 18:36Speaker 5: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 18:38Speaker 5: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 18:40Speaker 5: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 18:43Speaker 5: was given back?
- 18:44Speaker 3: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 18:47Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 18:49Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I need a home dad.
- 18:51Speaker 1: What happens next?
- 18:52Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 18:58Speaker 3: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 19:01Speaker 3: happens next.
- 19:02Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 19:05Speaker 4: You're worth the work.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 19:09Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 19:11Speaker 3: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 19:25Speaker 2: We did do Pompeii with a group and a private person.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And I thought that if you can do that, I
- 19:30Speaker 2: think that is way more fascinating than the Colosseum. To me,
- 19:34Speaker 2: I think the Colosseum is really cool. But if you
- 19:37Speaker 2: don't get inside to look inside, it's okay. Like if
- 19:41Speaker 2: for some reason you couldn't get inside, but you could
- 19:43Speaker 2: just go past it or whatever.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But the forum or whatever is out in the front
- 19:46Speaker 1: was what I thought was really cool.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Yes. And I also heard that I wish I would
- 19:49Speaker 2: have done this. is there's these golf carts where they
- 19:51Speaker 2: drive you around for like two hours and you can
- 19:53Speaker 2: see everything in Rome from a breezy golf cart.
- 19:56Speaker 4: That's what I'm talking about.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And that's what happened to us in Athens.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I wish I would have done that.
- 19:59Speaker 5: In Jordan.
- 19:59Speaker 2: So that's my tip.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Oh, in Jordan.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh! We saw people on golf carts and we were like.
- 20:04Speaker 4: We went to Petra in Jordan where it's even hotter
- 20:08Speaker 4: than Italy or Athens or anything. It's like Middle East.
- 20:10Speaker 1: And it's 10 miles.
- 20:11Speaker 4: And they walk from, you know, you probably would recognize
- 20:15Speaker 4: or remember where it is. It's that thing that's in
- 20:17Speaker 4: the facade. It's in the mountains. It's from the Indiana
- 20:20Speaker 4: Jones movie.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Whatever.
- 20:22Speaker 4: So you go and you think that you walk in,
- 20:24Speaker 4: you pay and you're going to walk down the thing
- 20:26Speaker 4: and then you're going to go.
- 20:26Speaker 2: No.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Miles.
- 20:28Speaker 2: You have to walk for miles.
- 20:30Speaker 4: And then we're walking, we're dying.
- 20:31Speaker 2: With a thing over your hair.
- 20:32Speaker 4: I didn't have a thing over my hair.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And people breeze by in golf carts and I was like.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Golf carts. Look up the golf cart things. Now listen,
- 20:39Speaker 2: a million people sent me recommendations and all that stuff
- 20:43Speaker 2: and it was a little overwhelming. So, and the hotel
- 20:47Speaker 2: that we were at in Rome, was a great hotel.
- 20:49Speaker 2: It didn't have a pool. But I'm glad it didn't
- 20:52Speaker 2: because it forced us to go. I went to the fountain.
- 20:54Speaker 2: We walked around a little bit. We did have one
- 20:57Speaker 2: guy try to give Peter the bracelet. You know what
- 20:59Speaker 2: the bracelet scam? No. This guy's just like, hello, man.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Where are you from? Because you don't talk to him.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, I'm from Los Angeles. And then
- 21:07Speaker 2: they try to put a bracelet on him and then say,
- 21:10Speaker 2: this bracelet's $ 20 or whatever. And then you're just like, oh,
- 21:12Speaker 2: my God, just get away from me. But never was pickpocketed.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Nothing like that came close. But, of course, that's all
- 21:20Speaker 2: the videos I was seeing because I was on this
- 21:22Speaker 2: algorithm of, like, the awful shit.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Right. I fell for the scam of the lady like that.
- 21:27Speaker 2: What's that?
- 21:28Speaker 1: She's leaning down.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Benched over, yeah.
- 21:31Speaker 1: She's an older woman. She's down like that, and she
- 21:34Speaker 1: needs help. But then she just stands up and walks away.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And I'm like, well, she was 17. Wait. but wait
- 21:40Speaker 1: and then does she try to grab your purse no
- 21:41Speaker 1: she just gets money because she's an older lady very
- 21:45Speaker 1: hunched over down almost to the ground and goes like
- 21:48Speaker 1: that and I'm like oh that's so sad wait and
- 21:51Speaker 1: then she just stands up and walks away see you
- 21:54Speaker 1: later more in shape than me I'm like Well, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: in Spain, oh wait, by the way, let me just
- 21:59Speaker 1: talk about this.
- 22:00Speaker 2: So, well, I'm going to get back to that. But
- 22:02Speaker 2: first I'll just say we had a great show in
- 22:04Speaker 2: San Diego. Julie fucking killed it. Everybody loved Julie's stand up.
- 22:10Speaker 2: And it was awesome. We had a great time in
- 22:12Speaker 2: San Diego. And then someone sent me this. And here
- 22:16Speaker 2: I am in Times Square at the Palladium. October 11th,
- 22:23Speaker 2: you guys. I will be there. So many other shows.
- 22:26Speaker 2: The next show with Brandi and Julie is in Vegas,
- 22:29Speaker 2: September 21st, which is Rome, which is Venetian.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It's Rome again.
- 22:35Speaker 2: We're going to Rome.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 22:36Speaker 2: We're going to Rome, and it's air-conditioned and shops, and
- 22:39Speaker 2: you get to see a comedy, and you get to
- 22:41Speaker 2: go to Venice, and you get to see it all,
- 22:43Speaker 2: and that will be super, super fun. But I came
- 22:47Speaker 2: across this guy, very funny comedian named Dan Rosen, and-
- 22:54Speaker 2: He did this TikTok that went viral where he's just
- 22:58Speaker 2: like was talking about how in Spain, I guess the
- 23:02Speaker 2: Spanish people are getting very annoyed at how much tourism
- 23:05Speaker 2: has grown in Spain. And they're like throwing water at
- 23:08Speaker 2: the people eating in cafes and getting all angry about it.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And so he does this TikTok where he's like, I'm sorry, Europe,
- 23:15Speaker 2: but you're our adult Disneyland. You are America's adult Disneyland
- 23:19Speaker 2: where we come and look at your little castles. And
- 23:21Speaker 2: look at your little thing. And he's like, maybe if
- 23:24Speaker 2: you're in China and making solar panels, you wouldn't have
- 23:27Speaker 2: to only be making money off of us and your cheese. But, like,
- 23:31Speaker 2: stop bitching. You get to retire at 42. You get
- 23:33Speaker 2: to have nine months of maternity leave or paternity leave.
- 23:37Speaker 1: You take a two-hour nap every day. Yeah, so people were, like,
- 23:40Speaker 1: mad at him. But then, of course, a lot of
- 23:42Speaker 1: it was like, wow, that's a really interesting take. Everybody
- 23:46Speaker 1: I met was lovely. I loved all the food. Loved
- 23:48Speaker 1: all the restaurants. I think it's super fun. I'm so
- 23:51Speaker 1: glad I... Got my first, dipped my first toe in it.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm going to do Lake Cuomo and Florence next. Of course,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'll do Paris when it's not the Olympics. Well, you
- 24:01Speaker 1: need to do Ireland.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I've already done Ireland twice.
- 24:04Speaker 1: But have you really done it with the fam?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Well, we are going to go, Irish people. That's right.
- 24:11Speaker 2: For Drake's graduation. Good. And Peter's 60th birthday. They are
- 24:16Speaker 2: going to play some golf either in Scotland or Ireland
- 24:20Speaker 2: or both. Ooh. and then I will join them, and
- 24:23Speaker 2: then we'll go do something else after. But we are
- 24:26Speaker 2: looking for, and actually McDonald, the way I spell it,
- 24:29Speaker 2: is originally, originally, originally Scottish. Somehow. We made it over
- 24:34Speaker 2: to Ireland. But originally our name is Scotland.
- 24:36Speaker 1: We are looking to get to Scotland and Ireland. We
- 24:39Speaker 1: could do.
- 24:39Speaker 2: A show because they speak English. So we could do
- 24:42Speaker 2: a show.
- 24:44Speaker 1: In England and Ireland.
- 24:45Speaker 2: We could do England, Ireland, Scotland.
- 24:48Speaker 1: We'll meet you there.
- 24:49Speaker 2: We could do some shows. We would totally. Listen, girls trip.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Girls trip.
- 24:52Speaker 1: No, with Drakey Poo and the fam. Oh, the fam.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So they're doing golf.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Well, they'll be golfing in the day and we can
- 24:58Speaker 2: be buying cashmere sweaters and looking at sheep.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 25:01Speaker 2: We would get, we would totally go. We would.
- 25:03Speaker 1: We've been dying to go there.
- 25:04Speaker 2: That would be really, really fun. And I do have
- 25:07Speaker 2: relatives there that I can find. Okay.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Big news.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Big, big news happened, obviously, when I was gone.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 25:16Speaker 2: And life-changing news. World-American-changing news. And that is that JoJo
- 25:22Speaker 2: Siwa wants to have triplets.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Eddie, Teddy, and.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Freddie. Freddie. Eddie, Teddy, and Freddie. Okay. JoJo Siwa did
- 25:31Speaker 2: an interview, and she's like, well, I want to have
- 25:34Speaker 2: three kids and I have to, I can't do it
- 25:37Speaker 2: the conventional way because I'm gay as fuck. And I'm like,
- 25:42Speaker 2: they're like, what are you going to have? Well, I'm
- 25:44Speaker 2: going to do, I'm going to make three babies from
- 25:47Speaker 2: the same batch so they'd all be full siblings but
- 25:49Speaker 2: I'm going to put them in three different surrogates so
- 25:52Speaker 2: maybe they'd have the same birthday but maybe they wouldn't
- 25:54Speaker 2: but they'd be the same age so they'd be raised
- 25:55Speaker 2: as triplets but maybe not all have the same birthday
- 25:58Speaker 2: and I'm going to name them Eddie, Teddy, and Freddy.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And I just want to tell you guys that in
- 26:05Speaker 2: my diary, I swear to God, of when I was nine,
- 26:08Speaker 2: which I have, I said, if I have triplets, I
- 26:12Speaker 2: want to have two boys and a girl, Jimmy, Timmy,
- 26:14Speaker 2: and Kimmy. And if I have quadruplet girls, I want
- 26:17Speaker 2: them to be Holly, Molly, Polly, and Dolph. So I'm
- 26:20Speaker 2: just telling you, the arrested development on this chick is
- 26:23Speaker 2: honestly kind of sad. I agree.
- 26:25Speaker 1: We discussed it.
- 26:26Speaker 2: It's beyond.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I was obsessed with the names like you where I
- 26:29Speaker 1: was like, Because I wanted to name my original kids
- 26:33Speaker 1: Rainy and Ryder, which is what Kate Hudson named her kids.
- 26:37Speaker 1: She has a kid named Rainy and Ryder. So I'm like,
- 26:40Speaker 1: my names have since evolved of the children I will
- 26:43Speaker 1: never have. But Julie was more like this. I'm like
- 26:45Speaker 1: discussing the names.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Julie's like this.
- 26:47Speaker 1: She can have children. She's a woman.
- 26:50Speaker 2: That's what I said. I'm like, wait, why wouldn't you
- 26:53Speaker 2: carry one? Like, it's the easiest thing in the world.
- 26:56Speaker 2: You don't need a turkey.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Do what all lesbians do. Have a party. Get a
- 26:59Speaker 4: turkey baster. Shove it in and get pregnant. I mean,
- 27:01Speaker 4: I get it. Maybe some people don't want to, but you...
- 27:03Speaker 4: can get pregnant.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Because you're so young. You're 19 and you're already like, well,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I mean, I could make them all boys, Eddie, Freddie,
- 27:10Speaker 2: and Teddy, because I'm making it the batch. She's just
- 27:14Speaker 2: thinking like, oh, because you can now make these kids
- 27:18Speaker 2: not the natural way, I'll just do it this way.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Hire three surrogate, like, what? She's also so.
- 27:23Speaker 4: It's also so entitled, it's so, you're talking about human lives.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And I'm just imagining the chick that's scrolling through her
- 27:32Speaker 2: phone for her third IVF transfer and then she has
- 27:36Speaker 2: to see this idiot in her construction bedazzled shirt talking
- 27:40Speaker 2: about how she's gonna do this and she's 19 and
- 27:43Speaker 2: some like 41 year old woman who's just like.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You spent her life saving yeah I hope this egg
- 27:48Speaker 1: retrieval works like you're just an idiot.
- 27:50Speaker 4: An idiot she's tone deaf she doesn't read the room
- 27:52Speaker 4: she's completely entitled she's so arrogant She's childish and basically.
- 27:58Speaker 1: We're reading her diary of you when you were nine
- 28:00Speaker 1: years old and I shouldn't be knowing.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Stop copying me, you loser.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I mean.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Oh my God. It's so annoying.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Somewhere Drake knows he almost became Holly and Polly with Brandon.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I know. He was almost Timmy and Jimmy and they're like,
- 28:16Speaker 1: thank you, Jesus.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I remember Drake, Peter was like, I have the middle
- 28:21Speaker 2: name for Brandon. Because we'd agreed, Brandon. Brandon Alexander. And
- 28:25Speaker 2: I'm like, that's an alcohol drink for Brandy Alexander. And
- 28:29Speaker 2: I go, and then his initials would be bad, B-A-D.
- 28:32Speaker 2: And we are not doing that because then he'll possibly
- 28:35Speaker 2: live up to it. So no, it's Brandon Patrick.
- 28:37Speaker 4: My mother's.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Irish name. By the way. But when we go to Ireland.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Speaking of, my mother's initials are P-I-G. Isn't that terrible?
- 28:46Speaker 1: That's awful.
- 28:47Speaker 2: She would say it. She would make a joke.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I'm not saying anything out of turn, but she always
- 28:49Speaker 4: says it.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I remember the day that my older brothers realized what
- 28:53Speaker 2: my initials spelled. Okay. H-A-M.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Ham.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Ham. And look what I became. A fucking ham. And
- 29:00Speaker 2: for those of you that don't know, because I didn't know,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I'm like, what do you mean? Because I like ham
- 29:04Speaker 2: sandwiches and they're dying laughing. They're rolling over. I'm like six.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And they're like, yeah, she's such a ham. Meaning you
- 29:10Speaker 2: love attention.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yep.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Love da da da. So I'm saying like, Then I
- 29:14Speaker 2: heard that and I was like, I guess I have
- 29:15Speaker 2: to fulfill that. So that's why I didn't want Brandon's
- 29:18Speaker 2: to be bad. Let's talk about the opening of the Olympics,
- 29:24Speaker 2: the opening ceremonies.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Ta-da.
- 29:26Speaker 2: A couple of interesting things before we get into it
- 29:27Speaker 2: because I've been, you know, again, seeing all these videos.
- 29:29Speaker 2: A person's like, I spent $ 6, 000 on this ticket for
- 29:33Speaker 2: opening ceremonies. And they're just like seeing like the one
- 29:35Speaker 2: little boat go by. It was very interesting. Like people
- 29:38Speaker 2: thought they were getting good tickets and then they— didn't.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Or they were like, who is this weird singer? Anyway,
- 29:43Speaker 2: so the biggest thing was that it was sponsored by
- 29:46Speaker 2: RuPaul's Drag Race. And no, just kidding. That tracks so hard.
- 29:51Speaker 2: People were like, okay, what's going on here? And I
- 29:55Speaker 2: was more offended by the lack of, and I read
- 29:59Speaker 2: somewhere that apparently the dancers skipped rehearsal because they said
- 30:03Speaker 2: they were mistreated. Because I could not believe how off
- 30:06Speaker 2: the dancers were. We were watching it and their legs
- 30:09Speaker 2: were like, And they were dancing like JoJo Siwa. They
- 30:11Speaker 2: were like... Oh, no. Like, it was so far from, like,
- 30:15Speaker 2: the raquettes and stuff. I'm like, what is this? Like,
- 30:17Speaker 2: this is not even good dancing. I don't care about,
- 30:21Speaker 2: you know, the guys and the girls and whatever. I
- 30:24Speaker 2: was like... But I was just offended by that the
- 30:26Speaker 2: dancing was, like, not at all in sync.
- 30:29Speaker 4: They bit off a little more than they could chew.
- 30:31Speaker 4: I mean, I didn't even get to watch it from
- 30:33Speaker 4: the beginning to the end. But I saw clips, and
- 30:34Speaker 4: I was like, they're really trying something. Because we got
- 30:38Speaker 4: the building, we got the people, we got the boats,
- 30:40Speaker 4: we got the dancers, we got the music. It's like
- 30:42Speaker 4: the whole city's involved. Where can you even see anything?
- 30:45Speaker 4: It was crazy.
- 30:46Speaker 2: So the biggest thing is with all the characters that
- 30:49Speaker 2: were doing the opening, then I guess posed in the
- 30:54Speaker 2: classic Last Supper painting style with Jesus in the middle
- 30:58Speaker 2: and his disciples. And so that's when they were just like,
- 31:02Speaker 2: and this was not the only thing that Christians felt
- 31:06Speaker 2: that was offensive to them. There were a couple other
- 31:09Speaker 2: biblical things that I didn't really get, this dark horse,
- 31:13Speaker 2: and there was something else. And other people were like,
- 31:17Speaker 2: it's art, get over it. Anyway, they did say, we're sorry.
- 31:21Speaker 2: They did say, we're sorry, we didn't realize, and we
- 31:25Speaker 2: didn't mean to.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Hurt anyone's feelings. And who apologized? France to.
- 31:29Speaker 2: France to the.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Americans?
- 31:30Speaker 2: No, just... To the world.
- 31:32Speaker 1: To the world.
- 31:32Speaker 2: They just were like, we're really sorry. That wasn't our intention.
- 31:35Speaker 2: And this is this... It was this person's vision. And
- 31:38Speaker 2: it wasn't about that. And it wasn't about this. And
- 31:42Speaker 2: we're sorry.
- 31:42Speaker 4: An art historian did point out that though that does
- 31:47Speaker 4: look exactly like the Last Supper.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:49Speaker 4: That most of it.
- 31:51Speaker 2: That there's also.
- 31:52Speaker 4: They added Greek gods.
- 31:55Speaker 3: So.
- 31:56Speaker 4: there's another tab that tableau moves into another tableau of
- 31:59Speaker 4: another kind of famous painting of the feast of the gods. Now,
- 32:03Speaker 4: some are saying that that's what, that's what was supposed
- 32:06Speaker 4: to be. So the gods should make, because it's the
- 32:09Speaker 4: Olympics and it's Greek. So the feast of Dionysus, which
- 32:12Speaker 4: is this thing with the gods with Dionysus is the
- 32:14Speaker 4: God of wine and fun and merriment. That guy in
- 32:17Speaker 4: blue with the crown wasn't Jesus. That was Dionysus. And
- 32:21Speaker 4: that there are other gods that were coming in to
- 32:23Speaker 4: take over all of that. So, There was that whole
- 32:27Speaker 4: train of thought.
- 32:29Speaker 2: The other thing is when I was on Chelsea Lately,
- 32:32Speaker 2: I mentioned to somebody like, oh my gosh, you know,
- 32:37Speaker 2: when we sit around the writer's room table and pitch
- 32:40Speaker 2: things and stuff, it's like, you know, Jesus at the
- 32:44Speaker 2: Last Supper and all of us kissing Chelsea's ass. And
- 32:48Speaker 2: so one of the art director made that.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Oh, cool.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And made it. So was all of you.
- 32:55Speaker 2: So when I saw this, I was like, oh shit,
- 32:57Speaker 2: I've already been accused of mocking God when I fainted.
- 33:01Speaker 2: And I'm like, please, I believe in... That's where I'm like,
- 33:05Speaker 2: sometimes it's not everyone sitting around and being like, let's
- 33:09Speaker 2: do this evil thing. It's not that, but I also
- 33:12Speaker 2: get why.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Well, you can also think of it like the painting
- 33:18Speaker 4: isn't a picture, right? It wasn't a photograph of the event.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Right, otherwise they would have been sitting on the other side.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Nobody's ever just sitting on one side unless there's a
- 33:28Speaker 2: beautiful view.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Of the ocean.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Let's all sit on the same side and awkwardly talk
- 33:32Speaker 1: down the table.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Right, like this is Leonardo da Vinci's vision of a
- 33:38Speaker 4: thing that was in a thing that may or may
- 33:41Speaker 4: not have happened and this is his vision that he had.
- 33:44Speaker 4: So that painting is in fact someone else's vision interpreting
- 33:49Speaker 4: something that may or may not have happened. So you
- 33:53Speaker 4: kind of got to like, you know, I get people
- 33:56Speaker 4: get sensitive about religion, but when we're dealing with art
- 33:59Speaker 4: and portraits of things that were never, it's not a
- 34:02Speaker 4: picture is all I'm saying.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:04Speaker 4: It's an idea.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, my issue is that they do a thing that
- 34:09Speaker 1: could be interpreted as offending some, you know, religions or,
- 34:14Speaker 1: you know, philosophies. And I was like this. He did
- 34:17Speaker 1: it in Paris. And I know Americans got blamed. Because
- 34:23Speaker 1: of Drag Race. Because even though drag queens and drag exists.
- 34:27Speaker 2: No, I don't think Americans got blamed. No.
- 34:29Speaker 1: You don't think?
- 34:30Speaker 2: No, I didn't see that. I just saw that people
- 34:34Speaker 2: felt it was like an attack on Christianity. And they say,
- 34:37Speaker 2: you know, why is it always... that we get attacked.
- 34:40Speaker 2: And I'm like, I don't think we're the only ones
- 34:41Speaker 2: getting attacked of a religion, but whatever. And anyway, so
- 34:45Speaker 2: that was that. Now we get into the rest of
- 34:48Speaker 2: the stuff. Oh, this, and then someone showed when Beijing
- 34:51Speaker 2: in 2008 did their opening and it was pretty magnificent,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but they were definitely in sync, these kids.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Drumming and I'm sure they were born and forced to
- 35:02Speaker 4: do that for many many years I mean we can
- 35:05Speaker 4: I love watching a show I don't.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Think it was something that was a fun rehearsal time
- 35:09Speaker 2: no I mean it's indentured servitude as a show yeah
- 35:12Speaker 2: you're one of thousands wearing the same thing but it was.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I mean there's things we can all get I think it.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Was an impressive watch so I will say.
- 35:21Speaker 4: And also ask yourself why you're offended if it wasn't
- 35:23Speaker 4: drag queens would you be offended anyway yeah you know
- 35:26Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Well we'll see yeah no I agree Anyway, there's still
- 35:30Speaker 2: a lot of shit in the river. I don't know
- 35:32Speaker 2: what is going on with that river.
- 35:34Speaker 4: I wouldn't go in that river. I wouldn't put my
- 35:35Speaker 4: toe in that river. I can't believe they're.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Going to do it. So first the river was dirty.
- 35:41Speaker 2: The female mayor said, I'll swim in it. Then she
- 35:44Speaker 2: swam in it. But then people got back in and
- 35:47Speaker 2: she died.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I didn't know she ever really went through with it.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I was saying, like, you know. That
- 35:57Speaker 2: takes balls.
- 35:57Speaker 4: That is someone who's like.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Sometimes as a female, you've got to use your one weapon,
- 36:01Speaker 2: and that is to tell the world, I'm sorry it's
- 36:03Speaker 2: that time of the month. Yeah. And I only use pads,
- 36:06Speaker 2: so I can't swim. And then everyone's just going to, oh,
- 36:09Speaker 2: every man will just go, okay, okay, okay, never mind.
- 36:11Speaker 2: We're not going to make you swim.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Yeah. It's a good one.
- 36:14Speaker 4: I mean, they literally.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So then they were supposed to have a pre-race triathlon event,
- 36:18Speaker 2: and right now they said, no, don't do that. And
- 36:21Speaker 2: we might, if the river isn't better, we might just
- 36:25Speaker 2: cut that out of the triathlon so it'll just be
- 36:27Speaker 2: a duathlon. I don't know what they'll call it, but
- 36:29Speaker 2: they won't have the swimming part if it's not better
- 36:32Speaker 2: by Wednesday.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Can you imagine, though, if you trained for your whole life,
- 36:36Speaker 4: you get in the ocean or some lake every day,
- 36:39Speaker 4: because you know they're going every day.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Oh, of course.
- 36:42Speaker 4: At 3 a.m., they're getting bitten by jellyfish and leeches
- 36:46Speaker 4: and doing their whole thing, and they're like, I finally
- 36:48Speaker 4: did it. I've conquered it all. I'm going to get, wait, what?
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 4: It's canceled. That would offend me. I say put drag
- 36:56Speaker 4: queens wherever you want.
- 36:57Speaker 1: You know the river is.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Filled with shit.
- 37:00Speaker 1: And then that's the funny thing. The last thing we
- 37:03Speaker 1: want in there is a woman's menstrual cycle. It's enough.
- 37:08Speaker 2: That's what would stop everything. Also, I saw this and
- 37:12Speaker 2: I put it in there and then I realized I
- 37:14Speaker 2: was wrong. It's the toilets and the black ones are...
- 37:17Speaker 2: are standing up and peeing and the red ones are sitting.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I thought, oh my God, you're supposed to only go
- 37:24Speaker 2: to the red ones when you have to take a shit.
- 37:27Speaker 2: And how embarrassing that you're out in the middle of no,
- 37:29Speaker 2: like you're walking out, everyone's like, how was your number two?
- 37:32Speaker 2: Or like jealous that, hell, I'm jealous you took a
- 37:34Speaker 2: big dump. And then Drake's like, no, that's for girls
- 37:37Speaker 2: sitting down. They have a ponytail. And I was like, Oh,
- 37:41Speaker 2: but the other part of this story is that on
- 37:43Speaker 2: the bottom, there's a reflection, so people can look.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Up and see your... For one thing, I was like,
- 37:50Speaker 4: why is there a dick-sucking booth? And then the other
- 37:52Speaker 4: one is gross.
- 37:54Speaker 2: That looks like pooing.
- 37:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:55Speaker 4: It does look like pooing.
- 37:56Speaker 1: I cannot believe there's reflection.
- 37:58Speaker 4: That's not right.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Because I was saying, I thought it was like, you
- 38:00Speaker 2: know when you go to a bathroom, whether it's at
- 38:03Speaker 2: a hotel or whatever, and they have two... So the
- 38:06Speaker 2: smaller flush is like you just have to pee and
- 38:09Speaker 2: the bigger flush is like if you have a dump.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Julie has those in her house.
- 38:12Speaker 2: So I thought that's what this was to try to
- 38:16Speaker 2: make sure that like Okay, if you're only peeing.
- 38:19Speaker 1: That it doesn't go.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Into the river? Yeah, if you're only peeing, please just
- 38:22Speaker 2: go in the pee-only ones.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Also, why can't the doors go to the bottom?
- 38:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Why can't the doors go to the bottom?
- 38:29Speaker 2: We have to see everyone's legs with their pants around
- 38:31Speaker 2: their ankles.
- 38:31Speaker 1: That's how high up the men's are.
- 38:33Speaker 4: The men don't even.
- 38:34Speaker 2: At that point... And you're seeing your whole body.
- 38:36Speaker 4: The whole body.
- 38:36Speaker 2: You're seeing your chest. You're like, hey. The whole body.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Very odd.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Very odd. But if it's a kid... Maybe they feel
- 38:42Speaker 2: it's a lot better because it's like... versus when you
- 38:46Speaker 2: go in those things and you're just stuck with that
- 38:48Speaker 2: smell and you don't see it. I'm going to throw
- 38:50Speaker 2: up just thinking.
- 38:51Speaker 4: But the top could be open, but the bottom should
- 38:52Speaker 4: be closed.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I agree. And I mean, I know everyone's going to
- 38:55Speaker 1: hate this, but if those were separated between TT and poo-poo,
- 39:00Speaker 1: I'm not going to stand in the line telegraphing that
- 39:03Speaker 1: I need to doo-doo. Yeah. I'm going to sneak into
- 39:07Speaker 1: the TT one. That's cleaner. And I'm going to do
- 39:09Speaker 1: it in there. And you're not supposed to do that.
- 39:10Speaker 2: But you're not supposed to because then your legs would
- 39:12Speaker 2: be going the wrong way. And also, I don't think
- 39:14Speaker 2: these have a place to sit.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Yeah, because those are for men. But let's say it
- 39:17Speaker 1: was women separated.
- 39:19Speaker 2: They're cracking down. French police are cracking down on prostitution.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Why?
- 39:23Speaker 1: Is that a pimp?
- 39:25Speaker 2: But then they said, actually, you know, it's worse for
- 39:28Speaker 2: the prostitutes. They're afraid, like, people will be robbing them.
- 39:31Speaker 2: But the prostitutes are like, don't worry. There's no hotel rooms.
- 39:34Speaker 2: So we're not even coming. We're not even coming. I
- 39:37Speaker 2: just want to say, in all my years of doing
- 39:39Speaker 2: this job, and prior to this, it was Chelsea lately,
- 39:42Speaker 2: I've had to cover a lot of the Olympics. And
- 39:44Speaker 2: the stories are always the fucking same. The prostitution, the
- 39:48Speaker 2: amount of free condoms that they give out, that's always
- 39:52Speaker 2: a big thing. Hold on. Let me show you this one.
- 39:54Speaker 2: There's always, oh, they're giving out free condoms in Vacation Village.
- 39:58Speaker 2: And we always have to do stories about how, oh,
- 40:00Speaker 2: once you're done. And I was always like, yeah, imagine
- 40:02Speaker 2: if I always said whatever Olympic thing I would be in.
- 40:06Speaker 2: I just want to be in like the first four
- 40:08Speaker 2: days of it. So I can get it over with
- 40:11Speaker 2: and then rip it and party and use those condoms.
- 40:14Speaker 2: It would suck so much if you were in the
- 40:16Speaker 2: last event. The amount of stress leading up to your event.
- 40:20Speaker 2: You can't drink. You can't have fun. You can't bone.
- 40:23Speaker 2: You're worried about your whole thing and you have to
- 40:25Speaker 2: be there the whole time.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Well, we are going on a cruise, and we always
- 40:30Speaker 1: do the very last show of the cruise.
- 40:32Speaker 2: So it's just that little nervousness all the way up.
- 40:34Speaker 1: We still drink and bone like the whole time, but
- 40:36Speaker 1: it does ruin the trip, essentially, right?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Well it is yeah well even though we have to
- 40:41Speaker 4: do other.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Shows we have a bunch of other shows the whole
- 40:44Speaker 1: time however it's.
- 40:44Speaker 4: That main big show where you're just like oh and
- 40:47Speaker 4: then once you do the show you're always so happy
- 40:48Speaker 4: but you do have that anticipation but the whole trip
- 40:51Speaker 4: is based on going out.
- 40:53Speaker 2: The condoms then um this convicted dutch olympian was booed
- 40:57Speaker 2: before losing his match he's a volleyball player and when
- 41:00Speaker 2: he was 19 it's like sad news but i just
- 41:03Speaker 2: thought it's big news so When he was 19, he
- 41:07Speaker 2: was convicted for bringing a 12-year-old from Amsterdam. He did
- 41:11Speaker 2: four years. And then when they brought it up to
- 41:14Speaker 2: the Dutch people, like how can you have him in
- 41:17Speaker 2: the Olympics, they said, oh, well, it's been 10 years
- 41:19Speaker 2: and he's been rehabilitated. And he's married and he gets
- 41:24Speaker 2: to be in the Olympics playing volleyball, but he and
- 41:27Speaker 2: his partner did lose their match. So that's good.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 41:31Speaker 2: So sad and weird.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Then this other guy, he got removed because he was
- 41:35Speaker 2: commenting on the Australian swimmers. And they were like, where
- 41:38Speaker 2: is the female swim team? He goes, I don't know,
- 41:40Speaker 2: doing their makeup or something. And he was caught on
- 41:43Speaker 2: a hot mic. So they kicked him out. And I'm like,
- 41:45Speaker 2: first of all, that's stupid because when you're swimming, you're
- 41:47Speaker 2: not wearing makeup. So like.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Is that offensive, though?
- 41:50Speaker 2: I don't even think it was that offensive.
- 41:51Speaker 1: It doesn't bother me.
- 41:52Speaker 2: I was like, it doesn't bother me either. Like, he
- 41:53Speaker 2: was just saying something.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It wasn't like... I thought you were going to say
- 41:56Speaker 1: that he talked about their bodies.
- 41:57Speaker 2: That's what I thought he was going to... When I
- 41:59Speaker 2: saw the headline, I thought, oh, it's going to be
- 42:01Speaker 2: much worse. Like, oh, like, look at those, you know,
- 42:05Speaker 2: look at that ass or those titties or whatever.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Well, let me just give you an example. When you
- 42:08Speaker 1: said you'd be doing whatever sport, I was thinking to myself,
- 42:11Speaker 1: what sport would Heather be doing? I'm like, would she
- 42:13Speaker 1: say she does swimming? Is she volleyball? I was thinking
- 42:16Speaker 1: I would do Not the good gymnastics, but the ones
- 42:19Speaker 1: where they just do like ribbons.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Oh, total ribbon dancer.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Just like going like that and shit.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Is that still, I feel like that did get taken out.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Really?
- 42:26Speaker 5: I liked it.
- 42:27Speaker 2: We were watching skateboarding this morning and they were falling
- 42:29Speaker 2: all over each. They were not even, I'm sorry, I
- 42:32Speaker 2: see better skateboarders in Venice. I don't know what the
- 42:34Speaker 2: hell was going on, Venice Beach.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Did you watch Americans though?
- 42:38Speaker 2: I don't know what they were. If Americans were competing,
- 42:40Speaker 2: they would be good. And he wasn't your typical skateboarder.
- 42:42Speaker 2: He was like 6'5. And I was like, aren't they?
- 42:44Speaker 2: I guess maybe they could be tall. I don't know.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Well, I imagine Julie would do swimming. She could do
- 42:50Speaker 1: anything she could do. But let's say she was doing swimming.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And then the guy said, I don't know, somewhere doing
- 42:54Speaker 1: her makeup. And Julie would be like this.
- 42:56Speaker 2: What?
- 42:58Speaker 1: She'd be thrilled. I mean, what? You'd get offended that
- 43:02Speaker 1: he said you were somewhere doing your makeup?
- 43:04Speaker 4: I'm not deeply offensive. It's just, yeah. I like it.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I think athletes, a lot of times, especially women athletes,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 43:11Speaker 2: They get, they, they're treated like what was cool is
- 43:15Speaker 2: now they have the breastfeeding thing. You heard about that?
- 43:18Speaker 3: No.
- 43:19Speaker 2: One of the girls was, um, a former Olympian is
- 43:24Speaker 2: now on a committee. And when she was running or something,
- 43:28Speaker 2: she had a child that she was breastfeeding while she
- 43:30Speaker 2: was running. But during that time she had to bring
- 43:33Speaker 2: the child. She was still breastfeeding. So anyway, they made
- 43:36Speaker 2: some accommodations for, um, female athletes that are breastfeeding. So
- 43:40Speaker 2: I think that's cool.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I think a lot of times they're treated like they're
- 43:43Speaker 1: not feminine or that they don't have different needs than men.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'm sure they don't have all the maxi pads and
- 43:48Speaker 1: tampons available for you.
- 43:49Speaker 2: I'm sure you're scouring the city. But they have the condoms.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah, the condoms for the men. So, yeah, I don't
- 43:54Speaker 1: think it's that bad.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I mean... Okay, now, I want to tell you my
- 43:58Speaker 2: Olympic story real quick. In 1994, the Olympics were here
- 44:02Speaker 2: in Los Angeles.
- 44:03Speaker 4: Best Olympics ever in the world.
- 44:04Speaker 2: We did go down to Ventura Boulevard right across from Target. Mm-hmm.
- 44:08Speaker 2: And at the time, I don't think it was Target
- 44:10Speaker 2: or something else. And I did watch them run the.
- 44:15Speaker 5: Thing.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Oh, cool.
- 44:16Speaker 4: The torch?
- 44:16Speaker 2: Yes. Well, that's cool. Now, if someone looks it up
- 44:19Speaker 2: and realizes it never went by Ventura Boulevard, I'm like,
- 44:24Speaker 2: I really think... Maybe it was, maybe they did a
- 44:28Speaker 2: Valley version. No, it was Ventura Boulevard.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I saw it.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Maybe it was a Valley version. Maybe it was just
- 44:32Speaker 2: fun for the Valley. Maybe it didn't really run through
- 44:34Speaker 2: all of Los Angeles through the Valley, but I did
- 44:36Speaker 2: go to see that. But the other memory I had
- 44:39Speaker 2: that I was like, I know this, my sister can
- 44:42Speaker 2: vouch for this memory. So my dad's Irish cousin, who
- 44:46Speaker 2: was a priest came out and said, can I bring
- 44:50Speaker 2: this reporter here? that I'm friends with, can he stay
- 44:54Speaker 2: at the house? And he's going to write articles about
- 44:56Speaker 2: the Olympics. So he came and stayed, this like young
- 45:00Speaker 2: 25-year-old guy, and he would type and fax the stories
- 45:04Speaker 2: because it's 1984. And then he said, can my two
- 45:07Speaker 2: friends come over to the house? They were in the Olympics.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And this was the first year of the synchronized swimming.
- 45:15Speaker 2: And these two, what I remember is these two girls
- 45:19Speaker 2: that had, I go, I remember they almost had the
- 45:21Speaker 2: same name. Came, and they had gotten fourth place, and
- 45:25Speaker 2: they were from Britain, and they got fourth. So they
- 45:29Speaker 2: just missed a medal.
- 45:30Speaker 1: And that's probably why you said Polly and Holly.
- 45:32Speaker 2: And they came to our house, and they swam in
- 45:35Speaker 2: the pool with us. Oh, wow. And so anyway, I
- 45:38Speaker 2: looked it up, and sure enough, here they are. Oh,
- 45:43Speaker 2: my God.
- 45:43Speaker 4: It's Caroline and Carolyn.
- 45:44Speaker 5: Yes.
- 45:45Speaker 2: So I'm like, I'm sorry. Anyone that questions my memory,
- 45:49Speaker 2: I– I mean, now granted, I wasn't that young. I
- 45:51Speaker 2: was 14.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Did you look up, though, the torch thing?
- 45:54Speaker 2: I didn't look up the torch thing yet. But we
- 45:57Speaker 2: definitely went down, like walked down there, because of course
- 46:00Speaker 2: there's going to be no parking, and we saw it
- 46:01Speaker 2: go by. We did go to the Coliseum at USC,
- 46:05Speaker 2: and we saw some running events.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Was there any chance it was just a parade, or
- 46:09Speaker 1: did you see a torch go by?
- 46:10Speaker 2: I remember a torch going by, but like I said,
- 46:13Speaker 2: but this, the girls swimming in the pool and teaching
- 46:16Speaker 2: Shanna and I to do a couple moves... was an
- 46:20Speaker 2: actual memory and all like now as an adult I'm
- 46:22Speaker 2: like they totally probably thought they were going to like
- 46:24Speaker 2: Beverly Hills and instead they were like in Woodland Hills
- 46:27Speaker 2: like where are we like you know like oh come
- 46:31Speaker 2: to my friend's house you know like what do they
- 46:33Speaker 2: know like if I was in England and someone was
- 46:34Speaker 2: like come to this English you know castle and then
- 46:37Speaker 2: I was just like in some suburb I would be
- 46:38Speaker 2: like oh I thought I was going to an English
- 46:40Speaker 2: castle but whatever that's.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Very cool though but they were nice 1984 is the
- 46:43Speaker 1: best Olympics yeah the best Summer Olympics killed it anyway
- 46:47Speaker 1: that's Bruce Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Yes. Mary Lou Retton.
- 46:52Speaker 4: Mary Lou Retton.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Who's so many stars.
- 46:54Speaker 2: All the gymnasts. Oh, doing all the commentary and stuff.
- 46:56Speaker 1: No, doing the events.
- 46:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Wasn't that 1984 Mary Lou Retton?
- 47:00Speaker 1: Mary Lou Retton was 100% in it.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but Bruce Jenner was in like 72. No, 76.
- 47:03Speaker 2: He was 76.
- 47:05Speaker 1: And he didn't compete again in 84? No.
- 47:07Speaker 2: You sure?
- 47:08Speaker 5: No.
- 47:09Speaker 1: I think he did because he was on the Wheaties
- 47:10Speaker 1: box and I wasn't even born in 76.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Can I also tell you how mad I am about
- 47:14Speaker 2: the fucking Wheaties box? We got the weedy box back. OK,
- 47:20Speaker 2: so you got the I was at Chris Jenner had
- 47:24Speaker 2: these offices back in the day in Woodland Hills when
- 47:27Speaker 2: they after Kardashians was on and they had a bunch
- 47:29Speaker 2: of weedy boxes there. And I took one home and
- 47:33Speaker 2: then Peter got some thing up his ass to get
- 47:36Speaker 2: rid of shit. before Caitlyn was Caitlyn, and sold it
- 47:42Speaker 2: for $ 100.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Peter!
- 47:44Speaker 2: I didn't even ask for that. You gotta keep that money.
- 47:47Speaker 2: How big is this? It's this big. I'm not asking
- 47:50Speaker 2: you to get rid of, no. Yes.
- 47:52Speaker 1: And that's why we kept the Barbies when he didn't know,
- 47:54Speaker 1: and we hid them in an underground bunker when he
- 47:57Speaker 1: tried to get rid of the Barbies.
- 47:58Speaker 2: He tried to get rid of the Barbies. I still
- 48:00Speaker 2: have the housewife Barbies. I hid them.
- 48:03Speaker 1: In a bunker.
- 48:04Speaker 2: In a bunker.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Because he wants to give them away. He wants them
- 48:08Speaker 2: all gone.
- 48:09Speaker 1: And we did a plan and he will never know
- 48:10Speaker 1: where they are. No.
- 48:12Speaker 2: They are safe deposit boxes. They are safe.
- 48:15Speaker 1: And you're like, you have all this equipment. And this
- 48:17Speaker 1: is like a real thing. And our friendship was the Barbies.
- 48:20Speaker 1: And now we know because Peter got it. How much
- 48:21Speaker 1: would that be worth? Like that is, I'm telling you,
- 48:24Speaker 1: it's 1984. That classic Wheaties box.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 1: It's such, it's the most famous one. Yeah. A hundred dollars.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Ugh.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Anyway, let's talk about Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now,
- 48:38Speaker 2: for those of you guys not aware of it, not
- 48:40Speaker 2: watching it, like I said, one of my gifts from
- 48:42Speaker 2: God is talking about what makes these shows interesting. So
- 48:46Speaker 2: I'm not going to recap and talk about a bunch
- 48:47Speaker 2: of names. But as you know, there's Teresa Giudice, her
- 48:50Speaker 2: second husband, Louis. And there's Margaret. And last night's episode,
- 48:56Speaker 2: Teresa Giudice brings this attorney who would like to be
- 49:00Speaker 2: on the show as much as possible.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Who we have met.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Where did you meet him?
- 49:04Speaker 1: We met him at her house with Dorinda and Melissa
- 49:09Speaker 1: and Joe. And we met them all. But the lawyer
- 49:12Speaker 1: was there.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Because she was just out of prison. Yep.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Very, very nice guy.
- 49:16Speaker 2: I'm sure I'm sure he is nice. You know, he's
- 49:18Speaker 2: doing what his clients ask him to do. And she said,
- 49:21Speaker 2: come on camera and explained to the other girls what
- 49:25Speaker 2: I've been going through because Louie's ex girlfriend was suing
- 49:31Speaker 2: him to try to get it. No, it was trying
- 49:33Speaker 2: to get a restraining order against Louie. In which, at
- 49:36Speaker 2: that time, the judge did not grant it. And the
- 49:39Speaker 2: reason she wanted to get a restraining order against Louie
- 49:42Speaker 2: is because she has a therapy practice. And she had
- 49:47Speaker 2: evidence saying that Bo Dietl hired a woman to pretend
- 49:52Speaker 2: to be a client to go and then, in talking
- 49:55Speaker 2: about their relationships, ask questions about her former relationship with Louie.
- 50:01Speaker 2: And when she found this all out, I know it
- 50:03Speaker 2: sounds like a fantastical, weird story, but I guess there
- 50:06Speaker 2: was proof to it of the woman and Bo Deedle
- 50:09Speaker 2: and whatever. Then she's like, I need to get a
- 50:11Speaker 2: restraining order. But then in putting out all the reasons
- 50:15Speaker 2: why she would need a restraining order, I guess the
- 50:17Speaker 2: judge felt that there was no threat to her against Louise.
- 50:21Speaker 2: So he did not grant it. So once that was done,
- 50:24Speaker 2: they had the cameras come in and all the other
- 50:28Speaker 2: girls were there. And, you know, except for Melissa and Margaret,
- 50:32Speaker 2: I think everybody else came. And Teresa's like, this is why,
- 50:36Speaker 2: you know, I've been so stressed and everything. And now
- 50:39Speaker 2: we have proof that Margaret had been in touch with
- 50:43Speaker 2: the ex-girlfriend, the therapist. And it seems like the reaction
- 50:49Speaker 2: after seeing that from the fans is, so what? Like, Teresa...
- 50:55Speaker 2: And Jennifer Aiden had sought out this new girl's husband's
- 51:01Speaker 2: ex-wife who was no longer in the child's life and
- 51:05Speaker 2: was a drug addict and recovering and in a halfway house.
- 51:09Speaker 2: And they they had sought her out or whatever or
- 51:13Speaker 2: bloggers or whoever had to try to get that story
- 51:16Speaker 2: to try to get this woman to say bad things
- 51:19Speaker 2: about them. And it's like, OK, well, now you're not
- 51:21Speaker 2: only hurting your castmates, you know, family. But also you're
- 51:26Speaker 2: not doing this woman that's like in and out of
- 51:28Speaker 2: halfway houses any favors by involving her on Twitter or whatever.
- 51:33Speaker 2: So there we are. That's why it's real ugly. And
- 51:36Speaker 2: they're not having a reunion. But they're having a there's
- 51:41Speaker 2: one last episode and then they're going to have a
- 51:43Speaker 2: watch party where they watch the final episode and talk
- 51:47Speaker 2: in two different rooms.
- 51:49Speaker 1: They watch the finale at like a bar or something separately, right?
- 51:52Speaker 2: I don't know if it's at a bar, but yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Each faction watches it and then discusses it.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yes.
- 51:56Speaker 1: And it's like Margaret, Melissa. Who's in that team?
- 52:01Speaker 2: It's really just Margaret and Melissa. I feel Dolores is
- 52:06Speaker 2: in the middle. And Rachel. Rachel, Margaret, and Melissa are
- 52:10Speaker 2: one team. And then Jennifer Aiden, Teresa, and... Danielle?
- 52:15Speaker 5: Danielle.
- 52:16Speaker 1: No, Danielle's with them too, right? Yeah, Danielle's with Rachel.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Because Danielle smashed the glass.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 52:23Speaker 2: And then Rachel and Danielle and Melissa and Margaret are
- 52:28Speaker 2: team one. Team two is Teresa and Jennifer Aiden and Jackie.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Dolores is sort of in the middle. And I want
- 52:38Speaker 2: to say Jen Fessler is probably with Jackie too. Oh.
- 52:42Speaker 1: She's kind of trying to be in the middle.
- 52:43Speaker 2: She's trying to be in the middle. She's like, whatever.
- 52:44Speaker 2: I thought this would be fun. I got a facelift.
- 52:47Speaker 2: I thought it would be fun. My kids are in college.
- 52:50Speaker 2: I thought it would be fun. Like, why?
- 52:51Speaker 3: Why?
- 52:51Speaker 2: This isn't as fun as I thought.
- 52:53Speaker 1: She does seem pretty authentic, though. I kind of like
- 52:55Speaker 1: her energy in it.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Yeah. What do you think is going to happen? What
- 53:00Speaker 2: is your prediction of all this mess? Because people are
- 53:04Speaker 2: just like very, you know, they're obsessed with Louis. And
- 53:07Speaker 2: Louis is on the show. He is, you know, it
- 53:10Speaker 2: is interesting that he has these past, you know, fiancés
- 53:14Speaker 2: and everything. Of course, the moment that really caught my
- 53:17Speaker 2: eye with Louis is when this video emerged from another girlfriend,
- 53:22Speaker 2: not either one of his two ex-girlfriends. One's a fiancé,
- 53:26Speaker 2: one's a girlfriend, each named Vanessa. Wow. Then he has
- 53:29Speaker 2: another ex that I guess sent this video that he
- 53:32Speaker 2: said to her when he went and did this like,
- 53:36Speaker 2: you know, what was it called? Like a retreat. They
- 53:40Speaker 2: were in Laguna and they were all very sunburned. And
- 53:43Speaker 2: their goal was, you know, that part of the retreat
- 53:45Speaker 2: was send a video to your woman that you've treated
- 53:49Speaker 2: wrong saying I'm going to change my ways. And he
- 53:52Speaker 2: sent it to her. And then a couple of years later,
- 53:54Speaker 2: he's on TV and she released it to some blogger
- 53:57Speaker 2: and it got out. And it was very comical.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I mean, I did think of you on the most
- 54:02Speaker 1: recent episode.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:04Speaker 1: When they all gave their testimonies to their wife on
- 54:08Speaker 1: the podcast. I remembered the video that you made recreating,
- 54:12Speaker 1: which is. one of your best, in my opinion. I mean,
- 54:16Speaker 1: you had the whole Shannons in it.
- 54:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:19Speaker 1: You had like a whole team.
- 54:21Speaker 4: It was the tableau was there.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:22Speaker 4: The tableau was there.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Cause I thought it was so funny and I didn't
- 54:27Speaker 2: think it was necessarily making him look bad. I just
- 54:29Speaker 2: thought he went to this thing, you know, now you're
- 54:32Speaker 2: on TV, your ex-girlfriend is like fucking, you know, it's look,
- 54:36Speaker 2: when you come on TV, everyone's going to come and
- 54:40Speaker 2: share everything. And, But I thought it was interesting that
- 54:43Speaker 2: that's out there. And then he's doing it again as
- 54:46Speaker 2: a version of his thing that he does now. So
- 54:49Speaker 2: he invites the guys over, Louie. And he says, here,
- 54:51Speaker 2: come into my podcast studio and talk to the camera,
- 54:55Speaker 2: telling your wife what you love about her so much.
- 54:58Speaker 2: And so then they each had to do it.
- 55:00Speaker 1: I don't know if he's just a romantic.
- 55:02Speaker 3: I know.
- 55:02Speaker 4: We're trying to figure out why. What does he want
- 55:07Speaker 4: from that? What is he getting from it?
- 55:09Speaker 1: Do you want Peter to go in and be like, Heather?
- 55:12Speaker 4: I just want to tell you.
- 55:12Speaker 1: We've had so much, many times.
- 55:14Speaker 4: I just don't have an opportunity to tell you.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Peter's the complete opposite of that, of like saying, you know. Heather. Yeah.
- 55:22Speaker 4: I want to tell you something. I want to tell
- 55:25Speaker 4: you that I'm sorry that I got rid of the
- 55:28Speaker 4: Wheaties box.
- 55:30Speaker 2: No, he will never admit that getting rid of the
- 55:32Speaker 2: Wheaties box. He'll say, now you got a great story
- 55:34Speaker 2: out of it. So whatever.
- 55:36Speaker 4: I did that for you because I love you so deeply.
- 55:40Speaker 4: And I do everything for you.
- 55:42Speaker 1: I don't really love like corny. I like grand gestures,
- 55:45Speaker 1: but I don't like corny stuff like that.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Well, I mean, they're all we're just put on the spot.
- 55:49Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean, what is Louie getting at? Why
- 55:52Speaker 4: is he doing?
- 55:52Speaker 1: I think he likes it. I guess it's very, very
- 55:55Speaker 1: him and Teresa are very corny romantic.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 1: And it's hard for all of us because it's cringe.
- 56:00Speaker 2: OK, I think she was so stressed about this whole thing.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Because I think it's very disturbing to think that if
- 56:07Speaker 2: there is any truth to what this woman brought forward,
- 56:10Speaker 2: which I believe there is, the effort that he put
- 56:14Speaker 2: forth to try to find this information through Bo Dietl,
- 56:17Speaker 2: through this other person, to me would make me feel insecure. Like,
- 56:21Speaker 2: why are you still even interested what this woman is
- 56:24Speaker 2: saying about you, positive or negative? And I think that's
- 56:27Speaker 2: where she was internalizing the stress because she was, that
- 56:31Speaker 2: is weird. Like that is, weird and you know but
- 56:36Speaker 2: she's got to tell herself no and all this but.
- 56:38Speaker 1: If a restraining order goes and I don't know but
- 56:40Speaker 1: if it goes on your like criminal.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Record no it's bad so that's why it is that you.
- 56:44Speaker 6: Can't just get he wanted to fight that yeah you
- 56:46Speaker 6: don't just get restraining orders like they don't just hand
- 56:48Speaker 6: them out like candy you've got to really prove that
- 56:50Speaker 6: like there was a level of stalking that is destroying
- 56:54Speaker 6: your life.
- 56:55Speaker 1: And he didn't want that on his record.
- 56:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:57Speaker 2: So he fought it.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:59Speaker 2: And apparently they said it costs them hundreds of thousands
- 57:01Speaker 2: of dollars in legal fees to fight it. So they
- 57:04Speaker 2: were happy to prevail. Right. Um, and then she was like,
- 57:07Speaker 2: I want you guys all to know that Teresa was
- 57:09Speaker 2: in contact with this woman. And it's like, You're all
- 57:11Speaker 2: in contact with other people that are trying to all
- 57:14Speaker 2: hurt each other's business, family lives, romantic. Like they're all.
- 57:17Speaker 1: And that includes Margaret.
- 57:17Speaker 2: They all have their hands dirty in this because they're
- 57:20Speaker 2: not really friends.
- 57:22Speaker 3: No.
- 57:22Speaker 1: They all are going after each other's kids, exes, business.
- 57:27Speaker 1: They're doing. They even did it on like Married to Medicine,
- 57:31Speaker 1: like background checks on people.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:33Speaker 1: And then they'll be like, I don't get into business
- 57:35Speaker 1: with anyone who I don't do a background check. And
- 57:36Speaker 1: it's like, ew, why are you in my business?
- 57:38Speaker 4: It's like they all.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Do that they all do it every single one of
- 57:41Speaker 1: them is guilty of it except perhaps Dolores who just
- 57:43Speaker 1: can't be bothered and has doesn't have any skeletons but
- 57:46Speaker 1: Frank did I mean Frank her ex-husband got disbarred it's
- 57:50Speaker 1: like at this point we're talking about a lot of
- 57:52Speaker 1: people who have gotten in trouble with the law including
- 57:56Speaker 1: Margaret and her husband I.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Like I everyone says I hate it it's dark I'm sorry.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Why did you just laugh so hard at that?
- 58:07Speaker 1: Because it is dark and you're going to say you
- 58:09Speaker 1: love it.
- 58:09Speaker 2: I do. I love Real Housewives of American Greed. I
- 58:15Speaker 2: think it's juicy. I mean, listen, if we're not going
- 58:18Speaker 2: to get the rich, fabulous, gorgeous people because they know
- 58:22Speaker 2: this is trashy and they're not going to jeopardize their wealth, like,
- 58:26Speaker 2: then let me watch the American Greed grifter version of
- 58:31Speaker 2: this show. I mean, to me, like, okay, like it's crazy.
- 58:35Speaker 2: And I don't think they, I think whatever they think
- 58:38Speaker 2: is going on with Louie or not, the cameras are
- 58:40Speaker 2: not going to leave Teresa because if something does go down,
- 58:44Speaker 2: if there's more to this app that he had, which
- 58:46Speaker 2: was like this TikTok thing, which just might've been a flop,
- 58:50Speaker 2: like a clubhouse, like a fireside. If there's more to it,
- 58:53Speaker 2: because there's a lawsuit involved with that, this Viviana thing,
- 58:57Speaker 2: then he'll either have to be like, hey, I was
- 59:00Speaker 2: the face of it or I was actually part of
- 59:02Speaker 2: it and have to face that. But I don't think
- 59:04Speaker 2: the cameras want to be there for everything.
- 59:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:07Speaker 2: And they're not. And so I don't, whatever it is,
- 59:09Speaker 2: if the show doesn't come back there in my prediction,
- 59:11Speaker 2: they're going to give Teresa something else.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 4: They should.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Louis and whatever.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Or, you know, I a thousand percent agree with you
- 59:18Speaker 1: that the real housewives of dirty John and American green
- 59:22Speaker 1: is more interesting to me than watching like like people
- 59:27Speaker 1: fighting to be top dog and like Beverly Hills where
- 59:30Speaker 1: the actual wealth, I don't know, or you're exposing people
- 59:33Speaker 1: cheating or like being drunk. And I don't know, this
- 59:37Speaker 1: is like kind of a real thing where it's like,
- 59:39Speaker 1: we're looking into sort of like, is there a grift?
- 59:42Speaker 1: Is somebody- are we going to get to the end
- 59:45Speaker 1: of like a weird mystery?
- 59:46Speaker 4: Well, plus everybody's doing it. It's very Agatha Christie because
- 59:50Speaker 4: everybody's guilty.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Literally everybody in there.
- 59:52Speaker 4: Is guilty of something. So that's what makes it also fun,
- 59:55Speaker 4: at least for me. Like I like the fact that
- 59:57Speaker 4: everybody's got some kind of thing that they are covering up.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: People are suing Joe Gorga.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: Literally every one of them.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Whatever, it's all, they're all being.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Everyone's sort of pretending that I'm innocent, but you're doing this. No,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I'm innocent, but you're doing this.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: But at the end of the.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: Day, they're all pulling some shit. And I'm not mad,
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: I mean, I'm enjoying it.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: And I love them.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: They all seem great.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: I also forgot that Teresa and Jennifer Aiden went after
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Margaret's ex-best friend and tried to get information from an
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: ex-best friend. And it's just like every little thing. And
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, it's just not an authentic.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: But you know that Jennifer Aiden has the leeway to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: do whatever she wants because Margaret exposed her husband's affair
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: from previous and ruined her whole life and they still
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: stayed together. And we know that Margaret also exposed Jackie's
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: husband and then pretended it was Teresa. I mean, to me,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: going and finding someone's old affair and bringing it up
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: when they have little kids... I thought that was dark
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and dirty and gross of Margaret. No, we still don't
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: know where the Jackie rumor came from. The Jackie, but
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: do we know where Jennifer Aiden came from?
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: The Jackie rumor was so weird because it was like I,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Teresa said that, Teresa goes, I heard that he gets.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: With people at the gym, which made it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Sound like he could be gay because are you meeting
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: somebody in a steam room? Like, what do you mean
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: at the gym? Or did you meet a hot girl
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: while doing squats? I don't know.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: It was never proven, but Margaret lives in the neighborhood
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: of the gym. And then her husband accidentally said, oh,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I first heard of that rumor at my house. And
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: then Margaret screamed at him. This is all on the show.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: But the Jackie thing is one thing.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I can't even keep track of the repeating of the rumors.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Because none of this we saw. It's very rare that
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: we see them actually say something on camera damaging. And
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: I think that's what's annoying the Bravo producers because all
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: of this is behind the scenes. They're not capturing it.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: This isn't the golden era of When Camille Grammer looked
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: and said, oh, I remember who you are. What did
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: she say? The immoral Faye Resnick. And it was so weird.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: And then the girl smoking. She was the first to
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: have a jewel, a vape. And then she predicted that
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: her marriage would. But Kyle and Mauricio will not fulfill you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: He'll never emotionally fulfill you.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: That was a scene that we actually saw uncovered. It
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: wasn't planned out that these things were going to be said.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: It wasn't, you know, and that's the difference. But I
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: really don't know how they can get the toothpaste back
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: in the tube. It's like, well, you did that. Or
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Teresa will say, I only punched back. Who started it?
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Who's to start it?
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: But they're all doing it.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: They're all doing each other.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: You can't do one thing and then someone does something
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: to you and then go, you can't do that.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Now you're screwed. That's why I think Bravo just doesn't
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: know what to do with this because they're so... There's
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: so many. Like, we just named eight different horrible things
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: that people did to each other.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: Yeah, horrible.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: And, well, they did that because of this. And they're
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: making up rumors or repeating rumors or whatever. Literally, like,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: eight different awful things. And I didn't even mention the pizza,
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: the subscriber to the pizza oven.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: And that wasn't even on the TV show, really.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: I didn't even mention No-Nose Pajamas. I mean, there's so
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: many things. There's so many things. I mean, Bo Dietl alone...
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Bo Dietl. We didn't know who Bo Dietl was.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: And now we're all talking about Bo Dietl?
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: I mean... So, Bravo OMG, this posted right before we recorded,
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: so I don't know if this is 100% true, but
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: they wrote, Andy Cohen confirmed on his radio show, Andy
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Cohen Live, that Roney, I mean, Real Housewives of New Jersey,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: will be getting a full reboot. There will be all
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: new faces. Now, I don't know if that is true,
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: if he said that, but.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if they try to do that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: If they try to do that, and I can't believe
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: that they would do all new faces. I think that
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: I would at least keep a couple of the new ones.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Why do we have to meet six new people? Why
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: don't we just meet three or four new people? It's
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: what happened in New York.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: It's the same thing.
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: The franchises are getting destroyed.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: The second you're fighting to be top dog, and somebody tries...
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: You know what happened on Even Beverly Hills?
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Where... It's like, everybody wants to be top dog. You
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: take out Lisa Vanderpump, now it's Lisa Rinna. Now we
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: take out Lisa Rinna, now it's Kyle. And it's like,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you're fighting for top dog and we're gonna end up
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: with a reboot. I personally, I mean, I know, I
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: guess people like the reboots. I didn't enjoy the Roni
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: reboot or I didn't watch it.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I feel this whole season, there's many times I just,
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: it was like hard for me to get through. Like
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I'd kind of be bored. I would be bored by
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: some of the scenes.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: In Jersey?
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: In Jersey. With little kids and stuff. I don't like
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: watching little kids. I don't find that that interesting.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I don't know. But whatever. We'll see. We'll see.
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: I'm attached to all of them. Yeah, I'm completely attached
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: to all of them.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: She sent a thing of flowers, Teresa did, and I mean, sorry,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Margaret sent a thing of flowers to Teresa's house while
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: she had the attorney there where they were exposing her.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: And she said, Dear Teresa and James, the attorney, sorry
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: for the loss of your dignity. Love, love, love, Marge,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: which Teresa always says love, love, love. And then she
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: said she refused the flowers. I thought it was a
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: pretty funny baller move and great for TV. So that
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: was something we actually saw on TV.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Because that was way more climactic than the actual information
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: that they gave at that thing. We were watching it together.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: I was like, I cannot wait to hear what this
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: information is going to be. I cannot wait. And then whatever,
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: the lawyer says what it is, and it's like, that's it?
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: That's it? Of course. People are talking to people. They
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: all DM each other. They all know each other, you know?
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: J-Lo and Ben. A couple updates on that. Ben has
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: bought a $ 20 million home in Pacific Palisades. His stuff
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: has been moved there. They are still trying to sell
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: the $ 68 million home in Beverly Hills. She has spent
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: the last few weeks in the Hamptons with her kids
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: and family. She celebrated her 55th birthday with a Bridgerton-themed party.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: She's been riding her bike around... In a flowery, in
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: a green Christian Dior dress. And then she goes to
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: the main part of town and gets an ice cream
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: and gets very angry at the paparazzi. I don't know
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: how they knew that she'd be getting an ice cream
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: at that time. And also, if you don't want the
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: paparazzi to, like, you don't need to go to a
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: public store to get an ice cream. You want an
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: ice cream cone? I think you could send out a
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: staff and enjoy an ice cream cone in your beautiful backyard.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: I mean, it's so stupid. And everybody's caught on. Where
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: she's like, please, guys, I'm with my kids. Like, we're
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: trying to have an ice cream. Not enough. God damn it.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: And they're like, okay. And I mean, it's so obvious.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: And it's like.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Have you seen that thing of Hugh Jackman taking the
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: picture of his billboard?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: No, is he pulling a Luann?
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: So there's a billboard.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: And I just showed my billboard.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: On Sunset.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Yeah. And he's.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: On the side of Sunset taking a picture, a selfie
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: of himself with a billboard.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: And he's playing it off like, I'm just so excited
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: for Deadpool or whatever. Right.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Meanwhile, like two weeks or a month ago.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: J-Lo had done that.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: And her J-Lo did the exact move. And it's like,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: it's fine. You can do the troll. You can do
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: the thing. But like the exact same like thing. The
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: exact same thing.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: So he is mocking it. He's mocking her. I think he's.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: No, I think his agents were like, go out and
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: take the selfie and post it on your Instagram to
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: promote Deadpool because he's doing it ad nauseum.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think marketing is learning that it's
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: like these, you know, and I'm going to get more
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: into it when I do. I'm doing a solo show Thursday.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: There's a lot more things that we'll discuss. But it's
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: like but I do think they're they're realizing there's this
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: like unique. you use the social media way in a
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: way that the people at home think it's authentic. Like
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: when you see these women, the, that are like these
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: trad wives, which are going to get into this whole thing,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: ballerina farms, too much to get to, but, and they,
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: and people like, Oh my God, how does she also
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: like film every single one of her making the meals?
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: And it looks like she's putting the phone there and
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: making the bread. And then, you know, no, I believe
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: that they have a whole thing of people coming in
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: and filming a bunch of stuff. All at that time.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: I mean, it's same with this, like whether you're calling
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: the paparazzi or then doing a mockery of somebody else
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: because they know that's just going to get the word
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: out more than if they put a bunch of articles
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: out in a magazine. No one's going to read the articles,
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: but are they going to see the snarky Instagram slapback? Yeah.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: So it's like we have to use that all. But definitely,
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: I think they're getting divorced now. Sure.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: I definitely don't think they're coming back together. He was
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: nowhere to be seen. And so I was like, well,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: maybe he just didn't want to go to a Bridgerton party.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I'm like, he wasn't in the Hamptons at all. Her
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: entire birthday celebration, she went to lunch with Leo. Remini.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: She went, had her party.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: If he's your husband, he shows up and is there.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: And everyone's already gonna be mad at me about being
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: on Teresa's side, but I'll say this. I want to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: go to a Bridgerton party and I don't care if
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: it's hot. I thought it was cute. I was like,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: that looks fun to me. It was like, it's too, there,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: there was reading a lot of criticisms. Like it's too hot.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: You're a hundred years old. Why are you throwing a
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: birthday party and Bridgerton theme? And I was like, I
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: would literally like probably murder a drifter to get invited
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: to that. And then I'd be in some too hot dress.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: And it's the one time to do Bridgerton and the Hamptons.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Like I thought it looked completely fun and cool.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: And it's like, yeah, let her have whatever she wants.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: She's now single fun that she wants.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: And yeah, It's just, you know, and to people like,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: why hate on, why hate on her? I just think
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: the getting mad at the paparazzi seems very weird at
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: this point at 55. We get it. Your career, like
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: it just seems, come on.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: We know you called the paparazzi.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Right. If you don't want to be seen looking cute
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: and happy, then you don't have to go out. Anyone
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: can bring you any food and bring it to your
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Hamptons house and you can have a dinner party, a
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: lunch party every day. You don't. You don't have to
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: go and wait in line to get a scoop.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: With your kids. Yeah. You know?
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: And so anyway, Mauricio of Kyle and Mauricio, he was
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: seen about a week ago kissing a blonde woman at
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: the airport. And I feel like this was stage two.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Stage two. I totally do. It was like such, such
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: clear thing. It's big kisses. It's all this other stuff.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: That's mean.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: And then I looked up who she is. And it
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: was kind of interesting, a few things. One, I read
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: a few different things. So I read that she's, like,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: from Russia. She was a model, but then she, like,
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: started her own company. She also has her own real
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: estate company. She's only 27. Then I also thought, no,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: she's actually 33. And then the most weird thing was
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: that she had, like, a 72-year-old boyfriend for a few years.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Uh-oh. We're getting into Louis territory here.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: I was going to say, was Bo Dietl in the corner?
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: Who took the picture with Bo Dietl?
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: If you think they staged this, that really bugs. Like,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: that's mean.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Well, it could be her staging it. Like, you don't know. Like,
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: if you are dating someone famous, you're the one that
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: can go, I'm going to be picky. He could be,
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I feel like he's so clueless. Like, whatever. But maybe not.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: I mean, he's got his second season of buying Beverly
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Hills coming out. And, you know, she's got Real Housewives
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: of Beverly Hills. She was seen at Morgan Wade's shows.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: We'll find out what's going on with that.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: She was hurt by this a lot. Did you read that?
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: That's what Kathy Hilton said.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: That's sad.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: And then Sutton had her fashion show, and that was
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: one thing I missed, which I was bummed. I missed
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Lawless Baby Shower, and I missed Sutton's fashion show. And
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: I saw a video of all of a sudden Kathy
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: Hilton is like on the runway in the middle of
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: the thing. She's like, what? What was the hunky dory?
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: I'm like, all right, come on. This like schtick of like, Mr.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: Magoo has got to go. Like, are you kidding me?
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: And then, but then she was completely coherent when asked
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: about what's going on with Colin Mauricio. And she's like,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: I think she's hurt by it. So that's where that
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: got out.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I mean, I think there's no way not to be.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: And he's already been thirst bucketing all over the mountaintop
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: with the girls in the robes. Remember they did all
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: that stuff in Aspen?
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: And that was, you know, that was okay. I mean,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: that wasn't, those girls, I don't think they were dating
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and that was just blatant, like being very thirsty, but
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: this is like him meeting someone.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: It's hard to watch.
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: They were married a long, long time.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: They're married a long, long time, but I feel like
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: they are really done and it doesn't really, they don't
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: really care. I still think, I don't know who knows.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I didn't think that I thought at one point, you know,
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I predicted a lot of things that I'm right. And
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: then I get some things wrong at, I thought when
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: JLo was, was acting like she needed to spend more
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: time with her family because no one was buying tickets
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: to her shows. I thought maybe they were pretending to
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: have problems so that she had an excuse to cancel
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: her tour. But now I realize, no, I really think
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: they're done.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: She said on Watch What Happens Live, Kyle, when he
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: was seen holding hands with the Dancing with the Stars lady.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Yeah. The partner.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Yeah. She said that hurt her.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: To Andy Cohen with her own mouth. It wasn't Kathy Hilton.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: She said that, yeah, that threw her for a loop.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I just think there's no way whether it's planned, that's
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: even more offensive, or not, that that doesn't just shock
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you to the core. Yeah. Because it's, whether you don't
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: care about someone or not, it's just a rude thing
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: to do to, like, your, don't they still live together?
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: I don't think they live together. I think they, like,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: take turns being in the houses. So, like, she'll be
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: in Aspen for a week or, I don't know. Well,
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: they're filming right now, and they're just about to go
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: on a girls' trip.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Okay, so you think they're just switching off. Like through
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: their homes. I do think he's a really nice guy
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: and I don't think he would do that on purpose
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: to hurt her.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Oh, wait a minute. I just, yes. Well, now they
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: have something to talk about. They're filming.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Oh, so you think, oh, you think this is, oh.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: I mean, this is everywhere. They're going to be sitting
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: around on the phone. Oh my God. Oh, okay. Just
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: like we're doing. if we're in a reality show and
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: we're like, if we're talking about it, they're going to
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: be talking about it right into the trap.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: Oh God.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: The grift is everywhere. Oh, speaking of grift update on
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: a grift situation. And I'm only going to say it here, um,
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: towards the other show, just because I did mention it once, um,
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: coming up on a year anniversary come this, uh, September. But, um,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I had made friends with this grifter that I met
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: through possibly another grifter. I don't know.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Quite possibly.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Grifters grift together. And I became friends with her. And
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: then she lied and said that I had taken these
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: earrings of hers and lost one and avoided her because
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: they were worth $ 10, 000 and I lost one. And I'm
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: such a piece of shit. I wanted to get up
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: to stop having to have to pay her. None of
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: that was true. None of it was true. I never
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: blew off this girl. I did lose the earring. We
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: were friends after. We all enjoyed it. We all thought
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: it was fine. And then this guy who had a
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: failing radio show, he went on and said, oh, my God,
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald was friends with this woman, and she's a
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: horrible friend, and she took these $ 10, 000 earrings and then
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: avoided her because she's now a felon. I paid the money.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: which then turned out to be $ 3, 000, but I was like,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: all right. So I gave her $ 3, 000, and then I
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: was so.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: But up to that point, when the earring fell off,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: you assumed it was costume jewelry. One, because it was
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: very lightweight, as fake jewelry is, which falls right out. Two.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: And it had just like a needle that you like
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: with a hole in it, not like the good terms.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Not that they do with real gold jewelry.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Also, which always comes with real 14 karat gold backs
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: that you put on, period, end of story. But also
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: because you had had the earrings for months and months
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: and months, never once were asked for them, these $ 10, 000,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you know, antiquities back. You were never, so you always
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: believed it was costume jewelry from- God bless you. Sorry, sorry. Forever,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Forever 21, wherever. And they were cute and you were
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: just like, okay, who lends someone- You never thought they
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: were real.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: I never ever thought they were real. And then even then,
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: when I heard that they were allegedly real, I believed it.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: And I believed it because I thought how sad because
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: he had dumped her once before publicly and everybody in
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: his world dumped her. I thought, oh my God, maybe
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: when I lost this real earring of hers, she was
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: afraid to tell me because then I would dump her too.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: So I thought how sad that is. But here... Obviously,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: we're not friends anymore because she had stopped returning my
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: call when this entire plan was happening. And then I
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: gave her the money. And then people were like, you
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: should go see if that earring is real. And I said, well,
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I think it is. I think she just didn't want
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: to say anything anymore because she doesn't have any friends.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: And then I find out later they're not real. Then
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I find out more where she bought them from Evolve,
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: either $ 60 or on sale for $ 42. Everyone bought them.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Numerous people have lost them. You lost them. I bought it.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: I've lost them.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Oh, yours lost too?
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: I was out with Gertie wearing them. Told her the story,
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Gertie from Miami. And then she sent me a photo.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: She goes, I can't believe it. Look what's here on
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: your seat. And it was one of the earrings.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: Mine fell out the very first night I wore them.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Don't buy them anymore. They actually fall out a lot.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: So anyway, turns out now he has dumped her for
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: a second time telling the world that she has lied
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: about numerous things. and blamed his daughter for a medical
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: condition that she now has, and then also is going
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: around town saying she's his real estate partner. So, you know,
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: JoJo Siwa would say karma's a bitch.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Karma's a bitch, and it's karma 24.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Grifter's going to grift.
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: Yeah, and liars are going to lie.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: And liars do flock together.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: Liars. And you wonder why they generated together so many times.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: We've got five more months of Karma 24, and we're
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: really just looking forward.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: To all the fruits. Well, I think it's already paid
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: off quite well.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's been delivering every month, pretty much. I mean, it
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: doesn't stop. No, it doesn't.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: It doesn't stop. But it's been really nice. Because last
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: year was intense.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: One year ago, pretty much it's coming up on the
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: anniversary of a lot of slanderous.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: So much slander, public slander on Twitter. on, you know,
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: a radio show and threats.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Of being sued.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Threats of being a felon.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Just the brain damage. Yeah.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: That's the constant, a monster.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Anything to like ruin lives.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. And so, so it's, it's fun. Yeah, it
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: really is.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: And people go, don't talk about it anymore. But I'm like,
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: I am going to talk about now just because it's like,
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I feel so free. Yeah. Because I feel like I
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: was so gaslit. And I was like, I can't believe
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: I've been on social media since 2007, 6. And I never,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: ever received all the hate and all the awful things
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: said about me. And it all stemmed. It all stemmed
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: from this lie in which I was trying to constantly
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: defend myself. And it was like roaches. And I was like, what? No.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: And then you see it. And then... now in retrospect
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: i'm like oh it was probably just a few people
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: right and then from that it was perpetuated by some
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: other people doing some other content that were desperate to
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: right but but a lot of it was a great
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: lesson to learn and and now you know comedy is
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: tragedy plus time and it's been time and you know
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: i'm getting people that are just begging for more um
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: TV show, books, art, anything I can do, we can
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: do to make this juicy story a vision. And there's
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: so many more. There's so many things I'm constantly thinking
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: and coming up with and discovering different things about it
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: that is just fascinating.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe we should do a Last Supper in drag
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: of it where we have the earrings and the chalice.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I mean, it was a grift at the end of
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: the day if anyone, you know, think nothing less because
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: it was a scam to get money from one person
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: who did get money. Yeah. And because you believed it
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: and you were so, you were a shell of yourself.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: You were beaten down and hurt. There was no getting
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: through to you. We 100% were like, go get that
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: shit appraised, honey, because we don't believe it. And you
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: wouldn't even go near to get it appraised because you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: just felt so.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Because I had lost scrunchies and stuff in the past.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: As a girl, I had borrowed a scrunchie. I had
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: been accused of borrowing things.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Or holding onto something too long.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing of any value. But I was like, wow,
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: I can't believe that this was of value and this
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: person was too nice to tell me. When it was
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: a complete and total opposite. And then just getting in
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: other people's ears and saying all these things. When this
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: whole time I was like, Oh, I thought everyone loved me.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: I thought everybody that was my friend was actually my friend. Oh,
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: you know what it is? It's when people beat themselves
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: up because they date somebody and they're a horrible dirty
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: John and they're embarrassed that they were taken or all
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: of a sudden some... guy, um, was a dirty John
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: and took their money. And they're so embarrassed to say
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: that they, and I'd always say to those women, why
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: are you, you shouldn't be sad about it. You shouldn't
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: beat yourself up about it because you, what is wrong
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: with believing that somebody really loved you? And what was
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: wrong of me believing that somebody actually really liked me
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: and really enjoyed me. But that's what it was. I
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: was like looking back going, Oh, so you never wanted
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: to come on the boat. You never wanted to be around.
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: Like I was just an awful person that, um, Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: so it is a really weird thing. And I think
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: the reason people enjoy hearing the greater details about it,
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: like on Patreon, is because it is a very relatable story.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I think they enjoy it. I think it's healing for
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: people to hear the trauma of, because it is nothing
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: but a trauma to look up and realize somebody who
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: pretended to be your friend was using you. And someone
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: can be your friend and still use you. But at
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: a certain point, it was more than one person turned
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: on you And didn't even like you anymore and was
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: still using you. And then they didn't like you. And
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: it's like to find that out in multiple people, that's
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: jarring and scarring. It stays with you for a long time.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: And I do think people can relate to the trauma
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of like, yeah, people are totally lying to your face.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: And then now you're like, what did I do? What
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: was my part in it? What was I doing? Why
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: they didn't like me? Why couldn't they be honest with me?
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: I mean, we have to have multiple conversations between us.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: If you're ever mad at me, just please tell me.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Just please, please, please. Because we're all.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: We're traumatized.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: We have PTSD from people just going and pretending they're
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: not mad. And then they are. And they don't like
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you anymore. And then you're fired.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: It's just... It is a really weird thing. And then,
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: of course, when our business is based on our personality
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: and likability, people listen to you, they go to your
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: shows because they like you, and they like you because
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: they like your character. And so when there's a character
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: assassination and people are like, oh, I thought she was
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: a good person, and oh, I guess she wasn't, and
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: then you have to try to repair that, there's always
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: going to be people that only heard the initial part
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: that no matter what, You know, it's why being a
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: defense attorney is oftentimes harder than being a prosecutor because
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: it's like, oh, they were arrested. Didn't you see them
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: on the news being pulled out of their house with
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: their hands behind their back?
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: You can never take it away.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: That's the first vision that you see. So it's like
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: the first punch is like it is. And that's why
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: also I think in analyzing housewives and stuff, I have
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: a different sensitivity to it because I was like, oh,
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: my God, I was on The Real Housewives of Podcasting
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: and I want off. Like, what the fuck is this?
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: And also the behind the scenes that went on with
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: fake accounts and social media and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Pushing a narrative. And you can't, it's like you said
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: with the toothpaste in the tube. It's like, there's going
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: to be a portion of people who will always, will
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: always be misunderstood too. And they will always come back
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: and be like, well, she shouldn't have done this and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: they shouldn't have done this. And well, they had every opportunity. Well,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: Heather had every opportunity. Well, Heather this and Julian Brandy this.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: And it's like, you don't know what you're talking about. And,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: whatever we have taken responsibility for also will not be
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: taken into account. There's just people who are going to
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: hold on to that side of the story and there's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: nothing we can do. And we just have to kiss
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: it up to God and be like, be well in
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: your life and we'll be well in ours. And we
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: have to let those people go and know that those
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: friends are the people who did that to us. They're
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: the people who destroyed that, our relationship or our reputation
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: with that group of people. And we'll we either have
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: to let it go or spend the rest of our
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: life defending ourselves, which we shouldn't do.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Right. And I don't, I don't have to anymore because
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: now everyone sees it for what it is. They'll never,
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: you know, I won't hear from anybody that's like, wow,
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: sorry we haven't talked in a year. I just thought you,
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: you know, I just wanted to, you know, continue to
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: be on this Hollywood train and, and you had some
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: stink on you. So I just avoided you for a year.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: I'll never hear from those people again. I definitely don't
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: think I will.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: And you don't want to.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: And it's fine. Yeah. I'm not, I'm not, I look
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: back at like, I look back at this time last
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: year and I was walking around like, look at all
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: my friends and all this fun stuff that's happening. And
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: I had no idea what was looming. And now coming
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: up on it, I'm thrilled with where everything is. I'm
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: glad it was cracked open. I knew it would happen eventually.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: I didn't know when. I have further predictions later. of
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: what will happen, and you know, and I'll probably be
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: right about this too, but like whatever, in the meantime.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: It's great. We're just volcanoes, three volcanoes in the coffee grounds.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: I will say, we talked about it on our Patreon podcast,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: other grifters floating amongst the midst of the grifter group who,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: you know, There's there's lots of scams happening behind the
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: scenes and just in general that we, you know, uncovered.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: So and I mean, if somebody wants to do that
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: and spend their money on that, OK, fine. But just know, like, please. But,
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: you know, whatever it is.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: It's no loss.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: No, no.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: If anything, all the people that I liked from the
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: group are in my life that I like now. So
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: it's all fine.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: I concur as well.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: A lot of the curtain was pulled back, and it
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: was like, oh, okay. Yeah, it's great. It's actually really great.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: Let's just talk, wrap it up. What, besides your great podcast,
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: Dumb Gay Podcast, which is a lot of fun, and
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: what else do you want to explain? What else? More
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Brandy and Julie in your life.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Well, the podcast, right now, it's... we're getting into like
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: we're a hundred days before the presidential election. So it
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: can be, a lot of people are wanting to deal
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: with that.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Yes. I say go for it because I'm not.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: I'm not. And let me tell you, it's hard because
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: there's so many jokes and things I've wanted to say
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: and do, but I made a promise in 2016. I'm
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: going to stick to the promise. But if you want
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: to talk about the political stuff, and have some fun
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: with it, that's the place to go. And get different
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: opinions and and be able to, cause there was a
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: lot of comedy in it. And, um, but our podcast
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: is liberal.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: It's not always politics, but right now in the next
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: hundred days, it probably will be. So it's not for everyone.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: And we, but we do have a Patreon podcast, um,
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: which is not political and you can join for just,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: it's just, you know, it's once a week for the,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: for the, for the lowest tier. So we have different
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: pricing options with more or less podcasts, but none of
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: them are political. So that's the option we have for
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: people who want a break, and we totally get it.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: And luckily, come November, it'll be what it is, and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: then we'll all just.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: Get to go.
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: Go back to whatever. And now we're going embarking. We
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: are now going on a trip Thursday. we're going to
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: be doing our travel episodes. So if you're interested, we're
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: going to be going to the Netherlands and Belgium.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: And Amsterdam.
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: So we're going to be doing a bunch of stuff
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: on the road. So that'll be fun.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: If you want to get away from the worms that
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: are taking over the world.
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: The grifting worms.
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: The grifting worms. Get into an air-conditioned delight with the
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: hilarious Chris Frangiole and myself. And that is August 8th
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: in Houston, August 9th in Dallas, August 10th in Austin,
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: and And then August 17th in Saratoga, California with Chris.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: And then Brandi, Julie, and I return to Rome, a.k.a.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: the Venetian. And that is September 21st. Go for all
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: my dates at HeatherMcDonald.net. That's where you also join my Patreon.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: But also, Julie's going to be joining me and Brandi, too,
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: at the Wilbur in Boston and Chicago, Detroit. There's another
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: one there. There it is. Many, many, of course, the plane.
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: All of that's in October. All these dates.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: I think the Chris Frangiole-Heather combo is going to be
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: very sexy in Texas. It's always been sexy.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: It's always been fun.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I know, but have you guys, I like it in Texas.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: I like that combo in Texas.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: I love Texas.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: And it's going to be, the thing with Texas, if
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: it's sold out, I just want, and people in Texas
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: know this, but it's just a drive. Those bitches will drive.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: So they think a six-hour drive is nothing. They'll do
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: it there and back. They love a road trip. And Austin, Houston,
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: and Dallas are all like tri-state, like very triangle. So
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: it's going to be, that's going to be really fun.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: I think Dallas is getting close to sell out, but
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: I know Houston, Austin. So just go to HeatherMcDonald.net today.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: Go to.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: JulianBrandy.com.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: Yeah, JulianBrandy.com.

- 1:31:08Speaker 2: just change your life. Change your life. Change your life.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: Be a better person. Grifter's going to griff.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Liar's going to lie.
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: Grifter's going to griff. Liar's going to lie. Yeah, it
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: all works out.
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space. A shorter commute.
