- 0:05Speaker 1: So you know how, I'm trying to be a bit
- 0:08Speaker 1: thrifty at the moment. You bought the coffees today and
- 0:11Speaker 1: you bought the snacks.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Is one for me?
- 0:13Speaker 1: You just bought one for you. Thanks for that. Sorry,
- 0:16Speaker 1: someone else has been thrifty. But obviously I'm trying to
- 0:19Speaker 1: save a bit of cash hard times. But I'm also
- 0:22Speaker 1: trying to save to get you a ticket on a
- 0:25Speaker 1: Titanic submarine. Hopefully I can get Trevor down there as well.
- 0:31Speaker 1: That would be like, can you imagine Trevor in that thing?
- 0:33Speaker 1: It looks like a bloody tin can. I'm seeing bigger
- 0:38Speaker 1: bloody cans at the Mother's group and then I would
- 0:44Speaker 1: be at the top of the water and delightfully watch
- 0:46Speaker 1: on the monitor. You're just imploding.
- 0:49Speaker 2: But Cable, you just cut it, cut it.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Just watch you guys have played Oh that Love.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Back into all seriousness. Can you just pass me that cookie?
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's just under all the legal letters from last week episode.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Oh yes, yes we have yet there they are one
- 1:06Speaker 1: to ninety of discovery.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Oh my lord, wow, So I hope you all enjoyed
- 1:11Speaker 3: that last episode with Cadog's.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well there's two. Well obviously there's two more words
- 1:17Speaker 1: on the whiteboard that we're now not allowed to mention.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, jeez, I hope my dog Taco
- 1:25Speaker 1: doesn't chase any cars soon.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Very good. I like that.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 3: But yeah, no, it was a good chat. So thank
- 1:35Speaker 3: you for all your feedback. Send us for any questions
- 1:38Speaker 3: you want us to ask him, because we'll get him
- 1:39Speaker 3: back in again.
- 1:41Speaker 1: The jelly match with him versus Trevor is going to
- 1:44Speaker 1: be happening. Yeah, I can confirm that will be our
- 1:47Speaker 1: pay per view events only fans. Wow.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Disgusting.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I just formed out that cookie a little bit. But
- 1:57Speaker 1: he was great. He was a good chat.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:59Speaker 1: The thing about him, as I said in the episode,
- 2:01Speaker 1: he is one of those guys agree with him or
- 2:03Speaker 1: disagree with him. And some of the stuff he says
- 2:05Speaker 1: I do disagree with, but I kind of go, well,
- 2:07Speaker 1: at least he's got an argument for it, you know
- 2:09Speaker 1: what I mean, Like, he actually thinks about it and
- 2:12Speaker 1: puts a rational point of view forward.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And what he said is right if you, like I mean,
- 2:16Speaker 3: most car reviewers, you just cannot objectively review a car
- 2:20Speaker 3: when you're there on the manufacturer's dime doing stuff their way.
- 2:23Speaker 3: So I think that if you are in the market
- 2:26Speaker 3: for a car in the future, just keep.
- 2:27Speaker 2: That in mind.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Listen to ours. I'm not tied to fucking anyone. Well,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I didn't give a shit, although I wouldn't be paying
- 2:32Speaker 1: attention to a guy who's wearing a windsheeter with a
- 2:35Speaker 1: dinosaur on the front of it.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Dinosaur with a walking stick hit a top. Wow?
- 2:41Speaker 1: Anyway, have you been tell me your goss driven anything fun?
- 2:47Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, we're going to be talking about it next episode.
- 2:51Speaker 3: But you got to sit in the taj Mahal of SUVs.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Oh wasn't it? Just wasn't it. Indeed, what I loved
- 3:01Speaker 1: was you could sit in that car. You'll get a
- 3:04Speaker 1: phone call when you sit in it, and they'll also
- 3:06Speaker 1: try and work you out with a better like mobile
- 3:08Speaker 1: phone plan, maybe an energy bill.
- 3:12Speaker 2: That's really nice of them. Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So we'll be chatting about the Mihindra on the next episode,
- 3:17Speaker 3: so make sure you tune in for that one. And
- 3:21Speaker 3: we'll also be chatting Merch right in this episode.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I can tell you that Merch is been chatting to
- 3:27Speaker 1: our good mate Machines Plus. Yes, and they're working on
- 3:31Speaker 1: something pretty special. So we've got a lot of requests
- 3:34Speaker 1: for like everyone was flooding out in box going hey
- 3:36Speaker 1: can I merch?
- 3:37Speaker 2: Can I have merch?
- 3:37Speaker 1: And our merchant I'm like, we should sell this shit.
- 3:39Speaker 1: We won't, but we should. But so now what we
- 3:44Speaker 1: what we originally got was kind of what they call
- 3:47Speaker 1: like testing stock. Yes, you know, so now we're good.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I've got one on and nothing else, nothing else and
- 3:54Speaker 1: free balling it. I like to call it's a very
- 3:58Speaker 1: dad post. But anyway, so we've got packs coming, so
- 4:01Speaker 1: that'd be fun.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah, excellent.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So yeah, we'll draw a couple of people out at
- 4:04Speaker 3: the end of this episode and then next episode as well,
- 4:06Speaker 3: and will then need your addresses. So so Gordy can
- 4:10Speaker 3: personally deliver stuff just wearing his T shirt.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Just that's it. OHI jesus fucking cold in here, isn't it?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Kids? Close your eyes. They took.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So Tesla are lowering their prices and I kind of
- 4:27Speaker 1: feel like something's in the works with this because they're
- 4:30Speaker 1: now going to be the cheapest they've ever been. Yep,
- 4:33Speaker 1: so this could mean the new facelift could be dropping soon.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Well, I think that's what's happening the problem, and it's
- 4:39Speaker 3: quite funny. I said this in a few episodes earlier
- 4:41Speaker 3: that Tesla they didn't want to be like other car
- 4:44Speaker 3: companies and other car companies when they have a new
- 4:46Speaker 3: model coming or it's been spied, sales drop off and
- 4:50Speaker 3: then they do runout deals so they can clear all
- 4:52Speaker 3: the old crap out of the way. Well, Tesla is
- 4:55Speaker 3: kind of doing the same thing. There's been all these
- 4:57Speaker 3: rumors about the new model. As of this recording, it's
- 4:59Speaker 3: still been announced, and they're now gutting the price of
- 5:02Speaker 3: the Model three because demand has fallen off at cliff
- 5:05Speaker 3: And if you're someone like my dad who ordered one,
- 5:08Speaker 3: even though I'd said to him, Dad, there is another
- 5:10Speaker 3: one coming, you will be waiting for the new one.
- 5:12Speaker 3: So Dad ordered it because he wanted to novate Lisa
- 5:15Speaker 3: and do FBT exemption and take advantage of the Victorian
- 5:19Speaker 3: subsidy which has now expired anyway. But so the new prices,
- 5:24Speaker 3: depending on which state you're in habits, have the entry
- 5:26Speaker 3: level Model three starting from again, depending on the state
- 5:30Speaker 3: that you're in and depending on the incentives, you can
- 5:32Speaker 3: get your hands on at around fifty five thousand dollars
- 5:36Speaker 3: and that is the cheapest state being Queensland for a
- 5:38Speaker 3: Model three. Ree wel drive model why rewel drive being
- 5:41Speaker 3: sixty three to two double eight drive away?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Then that's on road too.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I mean that is bloody cheap.
- 5:46Speaker 3: So that is cheap for you know, a luxurer, and
- 5:51Speaker 3: I hate using the term luxury car because they're not
- 5:53Speaker 3: really luxury. When you look at the features compared to
- 5:56Speaker 3: like a three Series, you're getting similar, if not better features.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Three Series is now significantly more expensive than this X three,
- 6:04Speaker 3: which you could compare to a Model Y is like
- 6:06Speaker 3: a one hundred thousand dollar car. So I think that
- 6:08Speaker 3: the value for money here is excellent. And this is
- 6:11Speaker 3: where Tesla is really going to do well in the
- 6:13Speaker 3: Model three. In the Model Y S and X are
- 6:15Speaker 3: dead for Australia anyway, they sell barely any globally.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But this is right where the core is.
- 6:19Speaker 3: So I love the look of this and I'm keen
- 6:23Speaker 3: to hear from anyone that's bought one. Are you upset
- 6:27Speaker 3: with these price drops? Because the latest price drop is
- 6:31Speaker 3: circa where are we up to four actually up to
- 6:34Speaker 3: seven grand for Model Y Performance, so it's a huge
- 6:37Speaker 3: price drop.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Are you annoyed that the price is dropping? Let me
- 6:41Speaker 2: know or let us know, rather contact at the drivers
- 6:44Speaker 2: show dot com that are you? Does it frustrate you?
- 6:48Speaker 1: Look at that it's over four grand saving on the
- 6:50Speaker 1: performance for the model.
- 6:51Speaker 2: That I have.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Look at the Model Y performance, it's down seven thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 3: so it's a huge price drop and I think that, like, yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 3: it is interesting to see how this will pan out.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I also want to know if anyone's bought a second
- 7:03Speaker 1: hand Tesler, because I don't think resale they do that great.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I mean the resale on them at the moment people
- 7:10Speaker 1: are selling them, you know, literally they're putting a couple
- 7:13Speaker 1: of hundred k's on them and getting rid of them.
- 7:15Speaker 1: But I'm talking the ones that are like twenty twenty one,
- 7:18Speaker 1: twenty twenty, you know, they are a couple of years
- 7:19Speaker 1: old right now and be interesting to see.
- 7:22Speaker 3: I just here's a few numbers I'll throw at you.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So I've got alerts set up for Model threes just
- 7:27Speaker 3: to see.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You know, what's who's who in the zoo.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, so some of them and this is why people
- 7:33Speaker 3: in the US market use car market are going to
- 7:36Speaker 3: be hurting so much. Because an alert came through today
- 7:39Speaker 3: for an entry level Model three standard range thirty thousand
- 7:43Speaker 3: k's on the clock. They want fifty seven nine ninety
- 7:46Speaker 3: plus your stamp duty. You can buy a brand new
- 7:49Speaker 3: one in Queensland for fifty five drive away and it'll
- 7:52Speaker 3: probably be delivered in the next month or so. There's
- 7:55Speaker 3: other numpties here as well. They're trying to sell them
- 7:57Speaker 3: for seventy grand base models, like, are you guys actually insane?
- 8:01Speaker 1: What about the model? Why? How much is that going
- 8:03Speaker 1: for at the moment? Model?
- 8:04Speaker 2: Why? Same story?
- 8:05Speaker 3: People are trying to flip them, but they don't understand
- 8:08Speaker 3: that all you do is spend a minute on the
- 8:09Speaker 3: Tesla website and you can get a brand new one.
- 8:12Speaker 2: So I think that that segment's going to be interesting.
- 8:14Speaker 3: If you've bought this with the hope of flipping it,
- 8:16Speaker 3: you are going to be very upset.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And I think the secondhand market and that sort of
- 8:21Speaker 1: market to the flipping market too, is calming right down
- 8:25Speaker 1: depending on what model. My brother's still waiting on his
- 8:28Speaker 1: Prito nearly two years later.
- 8:30Speaker 2: He'll get it just as the new one's released.
- 8:32Speaker 1: That's what I said to him, and he's like, I
- 8:33Speaker 1: don't want to throw his dealer under the bus butt.
- 8:36Speaker 1: His dealer is a piece of shit, So his dealer goes,
- 8:39Speaker 1: we'll know the bill date in October this year. So
- 8:42Speaker 1: he's already waited a year and a half.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Why is he still waiting?
- 8:46Speaker 1: That's what I said to him. So I'm like, by
- 8:49Speaker 1: the time you get this, because his dealer said to him,
- 8:52Speaker 1: you'll get this probably about you know, four or five
- 8:56Speaker 1: weeks after we have this this bill date. You'll most
- 8:58Speaker 1: likely get it by the end of the year. Yeah,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm like, so what In my view, he should somehow
- 9:03Speaker 1: get on the top of the list for the new
- 9:06Speaker 1: what we've seen with the new Lexus.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Absolutely, but I would be telling the dealer just have
- 9:11Speaker 3: me at the top of that list, because that thing
- 9:14Speaker 3: looks bloody unreal, I believe, compared to the and in fact,
- 9:18Speaker 3: let's let's we'll chat about that in a second, because
- 9:21Speaker 3: I have some information on that. Oh yeah, but yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 3: I think that secondhand market for evs is going to
- 9:28Speaker 3: be hurting now, so it'll.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Be interesting to see how it pans out. I've always been.
- 9:31Speaker 3: In the opinion you don't want to buy a secondhand
- 9:33Speaker 3: ev that's more than three or four years old, because
- 9:36Speaker 3: in my mind, you're dealing with potentially ticking time bomb
- 9:39Speaker 3: for a battery. You don't know how that person has
- 9:41Speaker 3: treated that battery, and we know that if you constantly
- 9:45Speaker 3: fast charge the battery it will degrade quicker. So you
- 9:48Speaker 3: might have so right, yeah, absolutely, you might have someone
- 9:50Speaker 3: that only ever does fast charging that cars parked outside,
- 9:53Speaker 3: so the battery is stone cold and they charge it immediately.
- 9:57Speaker 2: That is going to affect the battery life. You don't
- 9:59Speaker 2: want to be stuck with that.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Or you could have someone like me who like never
- 10:03Speaker 3: fast charges, only ever does a slow rac charging. And
- 10:06Speaker 3: you've got a battery that's in excellent health, but you
- 10:08Speaker 3: just don't know what you're getting.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So and there is no way of really knowing that
- 10:12Speaker 1: that you can do like a battery health check on
- 10:14Speaker 1: the cart.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, you can definitely do that, but I mean
- 10:18Speaker 3: someone who is selling one of these at a premium
- 10:21Speaker 3: that has been doing that probably won't let you do that.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But I don't know I'd.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Be insisting on that if you're buying a secondhand ev
- 10:26Speaker 3: just make sure. And the other thing that's worth keeping
- 10:29Speaker 3: in mind that the batteries are warranted. But again with
- 10:31Speaker 3: the warranty, I think it's something like seventy or eighty
- 10:34Speaker 3: percent of its capacity after eight years, seventy.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Percent is still not great.
- 10:39Speaker 3: No, imagine if you bought a car that was working
- 10:41Speaker 3: at seventy percent efficiency after eight years.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I mean it's still not great.
- 10:46Speaker 1: How much are they how much are they quoting for
- 10:49Speaker 1: a battery too?
- 10:50Speaker 2: It's actually but it's like twenty grand.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Hey, by the way, happy birthday, Oh thank you. Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And I know we're going to get into this story
- 10:58Speaker 1: in a second. You've had a bit of trouble with
- 11:01Speaker 1: the raptor, so you've had your sad face on, you've
- 11:04Speaker 1: had your grumpy pants on, and I thought i'd get
- 11:08Speaker 1: your present.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Oh Jesus, I think I want to open this.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You will. It's well, there's things that fund of all
- 11:16Speaker 1: the things you can stick up on it on your dash,
- 11:18Speaker 1: like the thought. Since you've got the ruler on the
- 11:27Speaker 1: back of your car, you've finally got something.
- 11:30Speaker 2: To meta that is very vainy.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That's an actual replica of my dear.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Amplified seven hundred thousand times.
- 11:37Speaker 1: No, no, it's quite accurate. So that's an actual mold.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I was doing that.
- 11:42Speaker 2: It has mold on it.
- 11:43Speaker 1: No, it's it's a it's a mold.
- 11:47Speaker 2: So for those of you listening and not watching.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Gordy has given me an enormous dildo that has lots
- 11:55Speaker 3: of veins on it.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Wow, Yeah, let's see something.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Nicknamed the Croatian Champ. So you can stick that on
- 12:06Speaker 1: board and it'll remind you of the show.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I should have had this on the dashboard when I
- 12:10Speaker 2: dropped the car. Off's gone.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Guys, can you please make sure you don't you don't
- 12:16Speaker 3: hit that because it Yep.
- 12:18Speaker 1: The good thing is this is also adaptable because Trevor's
- 12:21Speaker 1: just bought a new Cooper Born and you can actually
- 12:23Speaker 1: put this on the seat.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Bloody god.
- 12:29Speaker 1: By the way, Trevor during the week going nuts on
- 12:33Speaker 1: Twitter that he could get Taylor Swift tickets for the
- 12:38Speaker 1: kids for kids whatever. Your kids are, thirty eight years.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Old, it's so funny. Well, thank you for that present.
- 12:45Speaker 1: That's all right.
- 12:46Speaker 2: No, you're welcome and need to take it home for
- 12:49Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. So yeah, back to my Raptor.
- 12:55Speaker 3: So yes, I think I mentioned a little while back
- 12:58Speaker 3: that it had developed a wine from the differential yeah,
- 13:01Speaker 3: and I was like, oh, that's not good. And I
- 13:05Speaker 3: booked it in for a service through the website, and
- 13:07Speaker 3: the earliest service they had was like a month and
- 13:09Speaker 3: a half away.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So I was like, well, all right, I've booked it.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I've written what the problem was. About a week.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Before the service, they call up and they go, oh,
- 13:16Speaker 3: just checking what you're booking it in for. I said,
- 13:18Speaker 3: for a wine out of the diff and they go, oh,
- 13:20Speaker 3: this will need to be a diagnosis booking.
- 13:23Speaker 1: And then that's another way, right.
- 13:24Speaker 3: They go, well, the earliest one we have is a
- 13:26Speaker 3: month and a half away, and I was like, fox sake.
- 13:28Speaker 2: So I was like, all right, let's just book it.
- 13:30Speaker 3: And I said, well, just to be clear, am I
- 13:32Speaker 3: okay to keep driving this because if it's making noise
- 13:36Speaker 3: obviously I don't want to make it worse. And they're like, yeah,
- 13:38Speaker 3: it's fine. So I was like okay. So time came
- 13:41Speaker 3: to drop it off. Dropped it off on a Monday morning,
- 13:44Speaker 3: and I said to them, look, don't worry about a
- 13:46Speaker 3: loan car, because I.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Have access to other cars.
- 13:48Speaker 3: I don't want to take a loan car away from
- 13:50Speaker 3: someone who else who might need it.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And that's ridiculous. Even you've got a garage full of
- 13:56Speaker 1: press cars, I'd be still asking for that loan car.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Sky.
- 13:59Speaker 1: So anyway, I.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Dropped it off and they called me at the end
- 14:04Speaker 3: of the day and actually no, they yeah, they call
- 14:06Speaker 3: me at the end of the day and they go,
- 14:08Speaker 3: are you okay to pick it up tomorrow? And I
- 14:10Speaker 3: was like, yeah, sure, that's fine. I'm like, how are
- 14:13Speaker 3: they going to fix the differential by tomorrow? And she
- 14:15Speaker 3: didn't mention anything at that point. Tomorrow comes and I
- 14:19Speaker 3: hear nothing. Gets to the end of the day and
- 14:20Speaker 3: they're like, oh, look, we're actually going back and forth
- 14:23Speaker 3: between Ford's technical department. We're going to need a hold
- 14:26Speaker 3: onto the car for a bit longer. And I was
- 14:28Speaker 3: like okay. And at this point I opened up my
- 14:31Speaker 3: app and I could see that the car haven't been
- 14:33Speaker 3: moved or driven since the end of the Tuesday when
- 14:37Speaker 3: they called, so it had been sitting there.
- 14:39Speaker 2: And Friday came and I'm.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Like okay, and they leave me a voicemail and they go,
- 14:44Speaker 3: so it turns out we're going to need to replace
- 14:45Speaker 3: your diff and I was like, okay, that's quite a development.
- 14:49Speaker 2: As I call them up and I was said, oh,
- 14:50Speaker 2: what's the go.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And they go, well, apparently it didn't have enough diff
- 14:54Speaker 3: oil from the factory.
- 14:56Speaker 2: So I'm like okay.
- 14:57Speaker 3: So I've been driving it around for five thousand K
- 15:00Speaker 3: without enough defoil from the factory.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Geez, don't they do those sorts of checks when they
- 15:08Speaker 1: had a car over?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Yes, and the other thing as well, and they.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Did quite you did quite a detailed video direct.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Well, that was the thing. So we did two things.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Firstly, like these cars were checked over at the factory,
- 15:20Speaker 3: so they got additional checks above and beyond customer cars,
- 15:23Speaker 3: because there were four other three or four other journalists
- 15:26Speaker 3: that bought these and we all paid full price for them,
- 15:29Speaker 3: like the same price that you would pay if you
- 15:31Speaker 3: walked into the dealer and had the same thing. So
- 15:35Speaker 3: they all got extra checks at the factory. And then
- 15:38Speaker 3: in addition to that, we then videoed the pre delivery
- 15:41Speaker 3: process where they do all of these checks.
- 15:43Speaker 2: And I presume one of those checks is making sure there's.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Oil in the diff So yeah, not thrilled with it,
- 15:50Speaker 3: and I'll be interested to see how long it takes.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And at that point I was like, well, look, I
- 15:55Speaker 3: had loaned the car to my dad because he had
- 15:58Speaker 3: sold his car to buy Tesla, and so I loaned
- 16:01Speaker 3: that Rappor to him to drive, so he could have
- 16:04Speaker 3: fucked it doing burnouts potentially.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But it sounds like your dad, so I've seen him
- 16:08Speaker 1: down the chatty car park.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I said to the I said to the lady on
- 16:11Speaker 3: the phone, look, can I take a loan car because
- 16:14Speaker 3: right now the car has been out of action for
- 16:15Speaker 3: a week and it's now complicating things.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I need a car for dad to borrow. So they
- 16:21Speaker 2: said yeah, no, drums come straight away.
- 16:23Speaker 3: So the car thing is frustrating. But I've got to
- 16:26Speaker 3: say the dealer has been excellent to deal with. So
- 16:29Speaker 3: do you think no offense? But do you think that
- 16:33Speaker 3: sort of treatment goes out to everyone?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Look, I hope.
- 16:35Speaker 3: So the dealer was Essendon Ford, so near the airport,
- 16:39Speaker 3: and the lady that I've been dealing with has been great.
- 16:42Speaker 3: They organized the loan car quickly as well, So from
- 16:45Speaker 3: that point of view, I've been very happy with it.
- 16:47Speaker 3: But I do hope that they treat other customers in
- 16:50Speaker 3: the same way. And I do hope as well that
- 16:52Speaker 3: this isn't a bigger issue with the.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Raptor because there have been reported problems, which kind of
- 17:00Speaker 1: those things with a grain of salt too, because you
- 17:02Speaker 1: never know who's kind of coming out with these reporters.
- 17:04Speaker 2: But I've driven the car just normally.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'd basically just drive it around and I've got the
- 17:10Speaker 3: baby seed and it we did some performance testing with
- 17:12Speaker 3: it. It was all just sort of pretty basic stuff. We
- 17:15Speaker 3: also had the same noise that mine made out of
- 17:18Speaker 3: a press car, yes, when we were doing that towing tests,
- 17:20Speaker 3: and they replaced that vehicle, and finally it took three
- 17:23Speaker 3: or four months for them to get this to us,
- 17:25Speaker 3: but we determined that the issue with the car was
- 17:28Speaker 3: apparently side strike, So the vehicle had had a side
- 17:32Speaker 3: strike on one of the wheels that had caused the
- 17:35Speaker 3: dift to come out of alignment. But I definitely haven't
- 17:39Speaker 3: struck any curves or anything with mine. I could get
- 17:41Speaker 3: it with the press car, but with mine.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But also I kind of feel like, if you're doing
- 17:44Speaker 1: light performance work in that car and it causes side strike,
- 17:48Speaker 1: as you say, what does that say?
- 17:50Speaker 3: Well, that was with the press car. I mean, who knows.
- 17:52Speaker 3: You look at some of the people that drive these things.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Are pointing your mate.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Very looks very much like you. Let's see what happens.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I'll give them benefit of the doubt.
- 18:04Speaker 3: What I'm planning on doing when I get the car
- 18:06Speaker 3: back is doing the same thing that we did to
- 18:08Speaker 3: start with. Because if whatever we did to start with,
- 18:12Speaker 3: which was light performance testing, does this again, then I
- 18:16Speaker 3: think there is a design issue that they need to
- 18:18Speaker 3: look at.
- 18:18Speaker 2: So so yeah, watch this space.
- 18:21Speaker 1: But yeah, problems with the interior, the glove box with box.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Yeah they're fixing that. That was a minor thing. I
- 18:28Speaker 3: think something with the hinge on that. But that was
- 18:30Speaker 3: the only issue I've had and the differential.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And major construction issue at the car got aside from that. Anyways, Well,
- 18:42Speaker 1: after all that, enjoy your plastic penis.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Thank you. Yes, I'll take it with me when I
- 18:45Speaker 2: collect the car.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You can pay with the plastic penis. You're walk into
- 18:50Speaker 1: the dealership and just pointed in their face like you
- 18:53Speaker 1: you and you come over here. I want my raptor.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You should take this to your next EV Council convention.
- 19:03Speaker 2: That's right.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you how the installation's going?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Ye oh, Jesus put that down.
- 19:12Speaker 3: So I promised earlier we'd have a very quick chat
- 19:14Speaker 3: about the Lexus GX. So the Lexus GX, the reason
- 19:18Speaker 3: it's so important is the previous General Lexus GX was
- 19:21Speaker 3: basically a Prito except in the States they sold it
- 19:24Speaker 3: with a naturally aspirated V eight. Yes, Prito here was
- 19:27Speaker 3: sold with four cylinder diesel out of high lux and
- 19:29Speaker 3: also a naturally asperated petrol V six at one point.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yes, but now there's development.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:34Speaker 3: So now now that Lexus has revealed the GX, they've
- 19:37Speaker 3: said that it's going to come with the same twin
- 19:39Speaker 3: turbo V six petrol out of the LEX which is
- 19:43Speaker 3: two sixty kilo's six to fifty meters ten speed automatic transmission.
- 19:48Speaker 3: They've also said they're working on a hybrid, which is
- 19:50Speaker 3: the one out of the RX, which is a two
- 19:52Speaker 3: point four letter turbo petrol eight speed auto and that
- 19:56Speaker 3: thing is fun to drive as well. We think that
- 19:59Speaker 3: for the Australian market they will also do a diesel
- 20:02Speaker 3: out of the land Cruiser. Now, obviously this can't be
- 20:05Speaker 3: the same as a land Cruiser because no one would
- 20:07Speaker 3: then buy the land Cruiser.
- 20:08Speaker 1: But the GX isn't this the same platform?
- 20:11Speaker 3: We have same platform, same wheelbase as a three hundred.
- 20:15Speaker 3: It's shorter, but just because of the overhangs, I suspect
- 20:19Speaker 3: it will be slightly de kitted as well. The reason
- 20:22Speaker 3: I think that this is going to be the Prido
- 20:25Speaker 3: is overnight in the States, Motor Trend has announced that
- 20:28Speaker 3: the land Cruiser is coming back to the States. Because
- 20:31Speaker 3: they killed the land Cruiser because it was too expensive
- 20:33Speaker 3: for the States, they're now bringing back the land Cruiser,
- 20:36Speaker 3: but they haven't said what it's going to be called.
- 20:38Speaker 3: And I have a feeling they're going to do a
- 20:39Speaker 3: global land cruise of Prato. In the States, it will
- 20:43Speaker 3: be basically a slightly despect version of the GX, and
- 20:47Speaker 3: for the Australian market it will be a slightly despect
- 20:50Speaker 3: version of their Prato. So it'll probably be diesel four cylinder,
- 20:54Speaker 3: Diesel V.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Six, Diesel V six ye.
- 20:56Speaker 3: And I'm excited because this thing looks unreal, Like they
- 20:59Speaker 3: have one particular speck that is like the off road speck,
- 21:02Speaker 3: and it's finished in sandy talk, which is the color
- 21:05Speaker 3: they have on the seventy series, a similar color to that.
- 21:08Speaker 3: It's got like roofrails, it's got big all terrains. I
- 21:11Speaker 3: think it's unreal and I'm really excited for this, but
- 21:14Speaker 3: it does tell me that the Prato is going to
- 21:16Speaker 3: get bloody expensive. Prato currently caps out ninety five k
- 21:20Speaker 3: for the Kakadu. I reckon this is going to start
- 21:23Speaker 3: at around the eighty mark, and I reckon it'll cap
- 21:26Speaker 3: out at about one twenty one point thirty, just before
- 21:28Speaker 3: you get into the good Lan Cruiser.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the Kakadoo and the land Cruise is Sahara to me,
- 21:33Speaker 1: it's like it's a little bit over the top screens
- 21:36Speaker 1: and all that sort of stuff. It's fine, but something
- 21:38Speaker 1: like the VX, which is second from the top.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I regon VX will be around the ninety k mark
- 21:42Speaker 3: ninety five, it'll probably be where Kakadu is now, and
- 21:47Speaker 3: maybe even a bit higher than that. But yeah, I
- 21:50Speaker 3: think toyet is onto a good thing. And I think
- 21:51Speaker 3: if you were Ford at the moment, actually not even thought.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I mean, if you were Isuzu with the MUX, you
- 21:57Speaker 3: would be bloody terrified because you have one diesel engine
- 22:01Speaker 3: and you know, an interior that is now starting to
- 22:04Speaker 3: feel dated in terms of infotainment. And if these guys
- 22:07Speaker 3: roll out hybrid V six diesel, I mean it is
- 22:10Speaker 3: going to slaughter those vehicles. But it is significantly more
- 22:14Speaker 3: expensive than those.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And do you know what I think Iszuza will bank
- 22:17Speaker 1: on the fact that the wait times are astronomical for
- 22:20Speaker 1: most toyotas.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so Toyta is going to have to sort that out. So, oh,
- 22:24Speaker 2: like urge.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Massively, they pretty much shut down all production if there
- 22:28Speaker 1: was one component missing, say it was a chip shortage
- 22:32Speaker 1: for instance. Doing that most of the most production was
- 22:35Speaker 1: just shut down completely. They didn't sort of Yeah, I.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Don't think they've done what other brands have done, where
- 22:39Speaker 3: they've despect cars, and I think that's a good thing
- 22:42Speaker 3: because you'll see some some of the BMW press cars
- 22:45Speaker 3: we've had, for example, are missing things like radar crews control,
- 22:49Speaker 3: a wireless phone charger because they despect it.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So he did the same thing.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Yeah, if you bought one of those thousands of cars
- 22:55Speaker 3: that are missing that, when it comes time to resell it,
- 22:57Speaker 3: I mean the buy is going to look at this
- 22:59Speaker 3: and go, okay, well, I'm obviously not going to get
- 23:01Speaker 3: the one that doesn't have radar crews control, a feature
- 23:03Speaker 3: that's now standard on you know, some twenty thousand dollar cars, Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 3: twenty five thousand dollar cars. So I think that Toyder
- 23:09Speaker 3: kind of did the smart thing there, and as a
- 23:10Speaker 3: result of that, they created a huge amount of demand
- 23:12Speaker 3: for their vehicles, so it helped deals with margins.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Everyone was sort of happy with that.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It's a backlog, though, isn't it It is. It's amazing
- 23:19Speaker 1: how long people are waiting for these cars, and how
- 23:21Speaker 1: long they're willing to wait.
- 23:22Speaker 2: For these cars, exactly exactly, yeap.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Hey, should we get into our cute little review.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, let's dop, well.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You usually do, yes, yes, I well, there's help if
- 23:32Speaker 1: I if I put this over here. Yeah.
- 23:35Speaker 2: The twenty three k EV.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Sex g T Oh my god. So pricing starts at
- 23:42Speaker 1: around about ninety nine thousand. The figures on this now
- 23:46Speaker 1: look four hundred and thirty killer watts seven hundred and.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Forty newton meters.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Have talked crazy numbers zero to one hundred in three
- 23:53Speaker 1: point five yeap. Range is about four to twenty, which
- 23:56Speaker 1: is kind of a bit on the average side. Fast
- 23:58Speaker 1: charging was pretty good too.
- 23:59Speaker 2: For memory e one hundred volt architecture.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeap, so eighteen minutes from ten to eighty percent. Long ago,
- 24:05Speaker 1: we did the EV six and I loved it. I
- 24:07Speaker 1: loved the GT line. I thought it was great. It's
- 24:09Speaker 1: so well put together. What do you think of the
- 24:11Speaker 1: styling of this car, because the GT and GT line
- 24:15Speaker 1: they're very similar in terms of looks.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I like the rear of this car the best.
- 24:20Speaker 3: I think it looks fantastic. Those lights look sensational. And
- 24:23Speaker 3: I also like with the with the GT that you
- 24:25Speaker 3: get different color breaks.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yes, and the breaks to me make it those big
- 24:28Speaker 1: popin kind of fluoro green yellow breaks, they're the big standout.
- 24:33Speaker 1: That's the big thing that's going to tell you that
- 24:34Speaker 1: this isn't the normal EV six. This is the GT
- 24:38Speaker 1: as opposed to a PUNSI little badge. I guess styling wise,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I would have liked a little bit more extra styling
- 24:44Speaker 1: on differentiation.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what Yanda is doing with the five N.
- 24:48Speaker 3: They're making it look very different today.
- 24:50Speaker 1: They've always done that with the end generally, which.
- 24:52Speaker 3: I think is a good idea because if you're buying this,
- 24:55Speaker 3: you probably want people to know that it is the
- 24:57Speaker 3: faster one. But maybe Keath thought, well, look, this is
- 24:59Speaker 3: enough of a polarizing design that we won't actually sort
- 25:03Speaker 3: of go too crazy with with.
- 25:04Speaker 2: You know, making it even more different.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I just like the fact that they have really thought
- 25:09Speaker 3: about this as a performance vehicle as well, Like they
- 25:12Speaker 3: have a proper battery cooling strategy, the big breaks, you know,
- 25:16Speaker 3: they've got the different suspension here, as well, So this
- 25:21Speaker 3: has basically it solves all the issues they had with
- 25:24Speaker 3: the IIC five of the first generation of that. I
- 25:27Speaker 3: think this has a twin chamber design, so they're basically
- 25:29Speaker 3: a much much more progressive setup. It's also adaptively adaptively
- 25:34Speaker 3: damped as well, so you really do get the best
- 25:37Speaker 3: of everything here in terms of the way that it
- 25:40Speaker 3: sort of performs.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I think on the inside too, in terms of
- 25:43Speaker 1: the interior does look again, there isn't To me, there
- 25:46Speaker 1: isn't too much of a difference. I mean the seats
- 25:49Speaker 1: actually there are sort of bucket style seats if you're
- 25:52Speaker 1: like manually adjustable set, That's what I was going to say,
- 25:55Speaker 1: what's with that? They're not going to save on They're
- 25:58Speaker 1: surely they're not going to save on weight with that.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't know what the story is with that.
- 26:02Speaker 3: But manually adjustable seats, I just on one hundred thousand
- 26:04Speaker 3: dollar car I think is an absolute joke.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Same with the wired Apple Car Play Android Auto. I
- 26:10Speaker 1: just I don't understand it.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Yeah, Kia and Yanda keep claiming that's a vendor issue,
- 26:15Speaker 3: but it's like, what is.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That like a when you say a vendor software problem?
- 26:19Speaker 1: But I feel like it's more of a patent thing.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Well, they've had this issue now for years. Everyone else
- 26:26Speaker 3: seems to be getting along fine with wireless car play.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I don't know, and they also offer wireless car play
- 26:31Speaker 3: in cheaper key model, so I don't know why they
- 26:34Speaker 3: can't figure it out, but I think it's really hurting
- 26:36Speaker 3: them on the technology front. Yeah, I do like the interior.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's I don't know, but my issue with these is
- 26:43Speaker 3: just that they haven't thought about the practicality of an
- 26:48Speaker 3: EV all that well, if you compare this to a
- 26:51Speaker 3: fast tesla, you don't really make any compromise on storage space.
- 26:54Speaker 3: In a fast tesla, you still have the same type
- 26:56Speaker 3: of storage that you do in a long range or
- 26:58Speaker 3: the entry level. I think that they probably need to know, yes,
- 27:02Speaker 3: have a focus on performance, but also have a focus
- 27:05Speaker 3: on that other stuff. I did like that this has
- 27:07Speaker 3: a drift mode which genuinely switches off all of the
- 27:12Speaker 3: safety aids and sends talk to the rear yep.
- 27:15Speaker 2: I thought that was pretty cool.
- 27:17Speaker 3: It is fairly unhinged when that is active, though, so
- 27:20Speaker 3: don't try it on a public road.
- 27:23Speaker 2: But yeah, I think it's I think it's a really
- 27:25Speaker 2: good effort.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It's just yeah, not that efficient, which means you're driving
- 27:28Speaker 3: range isn't going to be great.
- 27:30Speaker 1: And that's going to go down to when you're driving
- 27:32Speaker 1: that in proper GT mode, that's going to go down
- 27:33Speaker 1: as well. You look at the numbers on this thing.
- 27:36Speaker 1: The numbers that it's pumping out are amazing. The zero
- 27:39Speaker 1: to one hundred and three point five. I mean that's
- 27:42Speaker 1: faster than a portion nine to eleven a Ferrari Broma,
- 27:47Speaker 1: fucking whatever. I'm not Italian, but you get my point.
- 27:51Speaker 1: It's the numbers are incredible, But does it have the
- 27:54Speaker 1: cred or does it sort of deserve to sit side
- 27:57Speaker 1: by side next to those cars?
- 27:58Speaker 3: Well, look fast in a straight line. The handling is good,
- 28:02Speaker 3: but it's not amazing. So yet to drive an EV
- 28:06Speaker 3: outside of probably the Tykhan that is really settled in
- 28:09Speaker 3: terms of the handling. Because they are so heavy and
- 28:13Speaker 3: because they have such a low center of gravity, it
- 28:15Speaker 3: is tricky to make this comfortable and handle well. You
- 28:18Speaker 3: can't really have both, and I think they've got close
- 28:22Speaker 3: enough with this. But yeah, it does still feel heavy
- 28:25Speaker 3: when it's driven faster at the track, so I think
- 28:27Speaker 3: that is worth keeping in mind.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I think you'll bang on with that too, because my
- 28:32Speaker 1: first impressions were is this going to be something that
- 28:35Speaker 1: I'm going to love like a nine to eleven or
- 28:38Speaker 1: is this going to be a Keia with a party trick?
- 28:41Speaker 1: And it feels like a fridge with a party trick.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I mean, the drift mode's called, there's not really that much.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I don't think you'd take this to the track. It's
- 28:50Speaker 1: not the sort of car you take to the track.
- 28:52Speaker 1: It's got no race tech in it whatsoever. It's cool
- 28:55Speaker 1: that the fact that it goes zero to one hundred
- 28:57Speaker 1: and three point five, the way it handles on a
- 28:59Speaker 1: highway at that speed, I wouldn't buy it on that alone.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I kind of got bored of it, to be honest.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Well, that's why I think the GT line is the
- 29:06Speaker 3: better option. That is well and truly fast enough, and.
- 29:11Speaker 1: It does have that cute little boost button. Then I
- 29:12Speaker 1: think you get in the Genesis so you.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Do save your money and it still does most of
- 29:17Speaker 3: the stuff that this does, So yeah, I don't see.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 3: And the other thing worth mentioning is I kept referring
- 29:24Speaker 3: to Tesla here, but if you look at a Model
- 29:26Speaker 3: three and Model Wide performance, you still get the performance
- 29:31Speaker 3: out of those, but.
- 29:31Speaker 1: You get handle better too.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you get all the tech benefits.
- 29:34Speaker 3: So I think these guys have spent a lot of
- 29:36Speaker 3: time focusing on performance, which is great, but then let's
- 29:39Speaker 3: have a look at tech and making that all really
- 29:42Speaker 3: sing with over the air updates and other sort of
- 29:43Speaker 3: fun stuff. And I just don't think it has all
- 29:45Speaker 3: that fun stuff that they could be otherwise doing at
- 29:48Speaker 3: the moment.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, I think save yourself fifteen grand, go
- 29:51Speaker 1: for the EV six GT line fifteen grand for a
- 29:54Speaker 1: cool little three point five. I think you'll get bored
- 29:58Speaker 1: of it. That's my thoughts. Yeah, was that a quick
- 30:02Speaker 1: ass car of you.
- 30:04Speaker 2: It was kind of summed it all up.
- 30:06Speaker 1: That's efficient.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Let's chat DMS. What have you got in there on
- 30:10Speaker 3: the dam? Who are we sending merch to?
- 30:13Speaker 1: I think I think we've got a new piece of
- 30:15Speaker 1: merch right here.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Let's stick it.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Why am I holding your birthday?
- 30:19Speaker 3: Someone is either going to get a T shirt or
- 30:22Speaker 3: this enormous dildo.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Actually, I should ask Machines Plus if they can put
- 30:30Speaker 1: our logo on that.
- 30:32Speaker 2: On the shaft.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Can you imagine Gussie's thing? You want me to put
- 30:36Speaker 1: the logo on the binis okay, I can do that
- 30:39Speaker 1: for you, for your boys anything.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Okay, So let's kick off with emails.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Contact at the Driver's Show dot com today you if
- 30:48Speaker 3: you want to shoot us an email.
- 30:50Speaker 2: This one is from Daniel, not Daniel. Funny enough.
- 30:57Speaker 1: We do have a message from Daniel and wow, interesting one.
- 31:03Speaker 1: We'll get to him.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Good Daniel Daniels, Hey, guys, love the show. A couple
- 31:08Speaker 3: of things from today's EP. We had a carbecue come
- 31:12Speaker 3: to my Ford dealer in Melbourne for a Triple M day.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Oh yes, so he's talking about when we were talking
- 31:17Speaker 1: to Jonesy about radio cars. Yes, yes, so Merrick Watts
- 31:21Speaker 1: when he was on Triple M he bought I want
- 31:24Speaker 1: to say it was one of the old Falcons and
- 31:27Speaker 1: turned it into a carbecue. He literally had this big
- 31:30Speaker 1: ass barbecue out the back. Phenomenal thing. I'm going to
- 31:33Speaker 1: get mess on the show actually and I'll get him
- 31:35Speaker 1: to talk about it. But yeah, an incredible thing, just
- 31:39Speaker 1: just amazing. He ended up I think he funded the
- 31:42Speaker 1: whole thing himself. If not, he definitely bought the thing.
- 31:46Speaker 1: And yes, this was a promo car went round to
- 31:50Speaker 1: people's places and workplaces and.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It's unreal, he said.
- 31:54Speaker 3: A suggestion you could do for fun, get old carmags,
- 31:57Speaker 3: read the reviews, then try find the same type of
- 31:59Speaker 3: car now through car clubs, etc. On a retro review
- 32:03Speaker 3: car like that. The two Hands car was sold at
- 32:07Speaker 3: auction in Melbourne about ten years ago. And talking about
- 32:10Speaker 3: the Two Hands movie, it's based on a Sydney Underworld
- 32:13Speaker 3: figure now passed away, but the club in the movie
- 32:16Speaker 3: was called the Pink Panther. After the movie, it added
- 32:19Speaker 3: on the door two hands required.
- 32:22Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 32:23Speaker 3: There's also a true crime podcast which is called Loose Units,
- 32:26Speaker 3: which has discussed this club, by the way, cool and
- 32:29Speaker 3: it signs off by saying I'm Dan, by the way.
- 32:32Speaker 2: But not Daniel. That you guys keep referring to. Thank
- 32:36Speaker 2: you for that email. Dan.
- 32:38Speaker 3: That is really cool and I actually love the whole
- 32:40Speaker 3: idea of having a look at old reviews in car Maggs,
- 32:44Speaker 3: I reckon, that's great having old car bags lying around.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Oh you know what I used to have. I used
- 32:50Speaker 1: to have boxes and boxes of unique cars Unique Cars bag.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I think that's still around.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Actually I think it died recently.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Ah well, I had boxes of those. It is still around,
- 33:03Speaker 1: So Daniel and by the way, Daniel originated from the
- 33:08Speaker 1: dickhead who quite liked the podcast but thought our humor
- 33:12Speaker 1: was a tad pura. Well, look who's come out of
- 33:16Speaker 1: the works asking for merch. I ignored his DMS and
- 33:19Speaker 1: he just wore, okay, good chat. And then I went, look,
- 33:21Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. I actually was nice to him.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Oh that's unlike you.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. I was like, hey, listen, tell you
- 33:27Speaker 1: what when we get the good stuff in, I'll send
- 33:30Speaker 1: you some merch blah blah blah blah blah. And then
- 33:32Speaker 1: he wrote, can you stop being nice? I want the
- 33:35Speaker 1: abusive Gordy from the podcast, and I just stopped replying.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Fucking just tell him We'll send him some merchant.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Okay, I'll tell you what he's getting there, Daniel. Actually,
- 33:49Speaker 1: just just go, Hey, Daniel, this is for you. Stick
- 33:54Speaker 1: that up your ass.
- 33:55Speaker 2: There we go.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Just sent a great little video to Daniel Gold. Here's
- 33:59Speaker 1: a d M from Ollie. This is the guy who
- 34:01Speaker 1: would be driving two hours to see his girlfriend and
- 34:03Speaker 1: would listen to our episodes on repeat. Right, just listen
- 34:07Speaker 1: to the podcast. My girlfriend thinks this podcast is so
- 34:09Speaker 1: annoying and stupid, but I think it's the best thing
- 34:12Speaker 1: since sly spread. Can you boys send me a T
- 34:15Speaker 1: shirt and I'll give it to her.
- 34:18Speaker 2: What the T shirt? Yeah? Are you giving to her?
- 34:21Speaker 1: Well, I'll send you that as well. I'll tell you what.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I actually think you should get a new girlfriend. I
- 34:27Speaker 1: don't mean to be rude, but I think you should
- 34:30Speaker 1: trade her in.
- 34:30Speaker 2: And she doesn't sound like she's fun.
- 34:32Speaker 1: She sounds like a bit ollie. Get rid of her.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Get rid of her. And if she's listening to this
- 34:38Speaker 1: right now, check yourself. Let the kid have a podcast.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Let him have a podcast. Were two dudes who sit
- 34:45Speaker 1: in a studio piss fart about. He sits in his
- 34:48Speaker 1: car and listens to us as a break from you
- 34:51Speaker 1: to drive.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Two hours to you as well.
- 34:52Speaker 1: By the way, yes we get him through it. Stop
- 34:55Speaker 1: living in regional bloody Australia. Start moving to a big city.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The Ollie is a good guy.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Well that was fun, that was good.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Yeah, So next step we're gonna be chatting the behindra

- 35:41Speaker 1: on the internet.
- 35:45Speaker 2: But yes, thank you for listening.
