Israel faces what could be a wider war further impacting the economy, which has been dented from the 10-month-long war with Hamas already. And yet, markets and consumers seem to be plowing ahead with a sense that the war was but a brief detour on Israel’s path to ever-greater power and prosperity that came in the aftermath of Israel’s other wars.
