- 0:52Speaker 3: Do they do that yet? Rarely?
- 0:54Speaker 1: But okay, oh man, the kids are really in the
- 0:56Speaker 1: Jinks right now. But they say Jinks blackout, juice black out.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I didn't know about black I.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Don't know about My kids went through the Jinks phase
- 1:03Speaker 2: a couple of years ago, and drinks blackout has been
- 1:05Speaker 2: in the game for a little bit, a little bit,
- 1:07Speaker 2: and I don't I'm fuzzy on the blackout rules.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Oh, I think it's similar to the drinks. I think
- 1:12Speaker 1: it's very it's just a.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You add it to make it blacks.
- 1:19Speaker 2: If you drinks me and I drink blackout you you
- 1:21Speaker 2: were Yes, that's right, that's right, double triple jinks.
- 1:26Speaker 1: That's exactly. It's good to be back to the coffee.
- 1:28Speaker 1: You're gonna love that. Hopefully, hopefully you're doing well. I
- 1:32Speaker 1: know who I am. Drinks. I got a couple of cases.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Uh figure new to us. Hi, Hi, thanks for coming.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And Darren, Uh, we're gonna bring you some cases. I'm
- 1:49Speaker 1: gonna tell Dan about a case that I watched, and
- 1:51Speaker 1: he's got to guess the verdict, and then Dan's going
- 1:53Speaker 1: to be the exact same thing, and you can play
- 1:54Speaker 1: along at home, Uh, trying to figure out what the
- 1:56Speaker 1: verdict is going to be.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Brandon, mine's a short boy. I could go.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I can little appetizer knock it out. I'm going to
- 2:03Speaker 2: Judge Mathis because I love my boy, Judge matthis. Do
- 2:05Speaker 2: we agree on everything?
- 2:07Speaker 3: No?
- 2:07Speaker 2: No, some of the things he says do I stand by?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Absolutely not? But as a TV court case time, yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 2: good stuff. Tara Moore And some of these are from
- 2:16Speaker 2: like twenty twenty four, so I don't know how the
- 2:18Speaker 2: time it was Tara Moore suing her brother for two
- 2:21Speaker 2: hundred and sixty nine dollars. His name is Christopher Moore.
- 2:25Speaker 2: He's countersuing his sister for five hundred dollars. Both of
- 2:29Speaker 2: these are loans. Tara starts off, that's my brother, Thank you, Tara,
- 2:33Speaker 2: And we love him and I love him dearly, but
- 2:36Speaker 2: it's time for him to grow up. Since he's been
- 2:39Speaker 2: released from the army, it's been a downhill spiral of
- 2:43Speaker 2: drinking and partying. Christopher's like, listen, you're on and that's
- 2:47Speaker 2: not true. Uh yeah, I drink, but it's under control.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Once a week. Maybe that's how you know. At the
- 2:54Speaker 2: very least, though he did.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He fought for these right when the doctor asked you,
- 2:58Speaker 1: he literally for his that's right, and you can't get
- 3:02Speaker 1: upset at that.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You can't get once a week. When the doctor asks you,
- 3:05Speaker 2: how many drinks do you have a week? What do
- 3:06Speaker 2: you say?
- 3:08Speaker 1: I say, I typically don't, yeah, but if I do,
- 3:11Speaker 1: it's once.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But how many drinks do you say a week? Don't
- 3:17Speaker 2: they ask you the number of drinks?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:19Speaker 1: I typically say I don't drink, but if I do,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's never more than like one just one? Yeah, okay,
- 3:24Speaker 1: got you? Really, that's just me.
- 3:26Speaker 3: That's just you.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you have more than one drink. There is the occasion,
- 3:30Speaker 1: like I would say, on less than less than one
- 3:35Speaker 1: hand amount of times a year, that I have more
- 3:38Speaker 1: than one drink.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Amount of times a year. Interesting, Uh, I I don't.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I usually just go. I drink on Saturdays.
- 3:46Speaker 3: That's what I do.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Drink a lot on Saturdays. I drink on Saturdays. That
- 3:49Speaker 1: is the day of the week.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Up.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Maybe I'll change it to Friday occasionally, but it's typically Saturdays.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And you make a day of it. I make it.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Never impairs you. No, I throw I throw a pork
- 4:00Speaker 2: on the grill at nine am.
- 4:01Speaker 3: It's exactly right.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't start drinking until afternoon, though. I mean, I
- 4:04Speaker 2: mean some things are sacred. Some things are sacred. It's noon,
- 4:06Speaker 2: so that's.
- 4:07Speaker 1: When I would start calling you out. Hey, Bud, you
- 4:09Speaker 1: did that's right?
- 4:10Speaker 2: I heard that can crack from over here. Something's hanging
- 4:12Speaker 2: from your beard. No, you missed it by a mile.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I got you. It's it's way under here. There you go.
- 4:19Speaker 3: What is that? It was? Red?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Little red?
- 4:21Speaker 3: All right? Anyway?
- 4:22Speaker 2: So Christopher drinks one day a week a lot like me,
- 4:24Speaker 2: and he's like, I got under control.
- 4:26Speaker 3: He's like, I got out of.
- 4:27Speaker 2: The army when I was twenty two years old, So yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 2: at twenty two I was maybe drinking a little more
- 4:31Speaker 2: than I am right now.
- 4:32Speaker 1: When they say how many drinks you have a week?
- 4:34Speaker 1: You say Saturday. What I say, never push back, No,
- 4:38Speaker 1: what I say is I usually just say three drinks,
- 4:42Speaker 1: is what I say.
- 4:43Speaker 3: It's how many drinks in a week?
- 4:44Speaker 2: I put three down, and then the doctor always goes
- 4:46Speaker 2: they always check with you because they always assume you're
- 4:48Speaker 2: lying a lot of people that drink daily lie on
- 4:51Speaker 2: that survey. They don't say ten drinks a week. They
- 4:54Speaker 2: say four drinks a week, and so whenever you say three,
- 4:57Speaker 2: the doctor, I think, assumes it's like six or eight.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And I'm like, they're like three drinks a week, and
- 5:02Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I really don't drink except on Saturday,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and I'll usually have three or four beers by the pool.
- 5:06Speaker 3: That's what I say, Yeah, and that's accurate. That's what
- 5:09Speaker 3: I'm not lying to you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But it's like you could also do your diet coke
- 5:13Speaker 1: like sitting rule like in one Ha, I do one sitting.
- 5:16Speaker 2: If they offered free refills for beer, I think we
- 5:19Speaker 2: would have a pro. It's one beer. If they offered
- 5:21Speaker 2: free refills for beer, it is one beer. They died
- 5:25Speaker 2: that place from that place, the free refilled beer place,
- 5:28Speaker 2: which is out of business called it's called one sitting
- 5:31Speaker 2: and one one day you're open and then you're you're dead.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Anyway, so he's like, when out, Yeah, when I got
- 5:37Speaker 2: out of the army, of course, twenty two, I had
- 5:39Speaker 2: some fun.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And he's like, he got out of the of the
- 5:42Speaker 1: army at twenty two. I probably a discharge twenty two stuff.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Maybe that's hard sign up at seventeen.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You got your parents emancipated you, and maybe you did
- 5:52Speaker 2: your five years. Maybe maybe I'm doing the best. That's
- 5:55Speaker 2: like best case. I think there was a discharge situation.
- 5:59Speaker 2: He's like, like, what do you do now? He's like,
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'm an insurance agent during the day, full time college
- 6:03Speaker 2: student at night. Mathis Goes doesn't sound like a downward
- 6:06Speaker 2: spral to me, Sister Tara says, ro Honor, that's just
- 6:10Speaker 2: not true. And Mathis Goes isy in college, and Tara says, yes,
- 6:14Speaker 2: he is. And Mathis Goes doesn't sound like a downward
- 6:16Speaker 2: spiral to me. I don't get where you're coming from there.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Christopher says, my sister, she's one of these people that
- 6:21Speaker 2: just looks down on everybody. She'll help you out and
- 6:24Speaker 2: then talk about you later. She spends so much money
- 6:27Speaker 2: and then ask someone else for their money to help
- 6:30Speaker 2: her with her money. Matthis says, how does she look
- 6:33Speaker 2: down on people? She goes like me with the downward spiral.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I had one incident with an ov They keep saying
- 6:38Speaker 2: ov I, which I found out is a drunk driving
- 6:41Speaker 2: arrest and booking. I've never heard ov I being the
- 6:44Speaker 2: thing that was said but stands for I don't either.
- 6:47Speaker 2: I just know it is drunk driving, booked, convicted drunk driving.
- 6:51Speaker 2: And he said I had one one of those and
- 6:53Speaker 2: it'll never happen again. He's like, all right, Tarah, what
- 6:56Speaker 2: do you do? And she's like, I work at a
- 6:58Speaker 2: nursing home. I take care of the elderly. I don't
- 7:01Speaker 2: look down on anyone. This is about tough love. I
- 7:04Speaker 2: want my brother to grow up. He called me in
- 7:07Speaker 2: August of last year. His car got impounded because of
- 7:10Speaker 2: this drunk driving thing. I loaned him one hundred and
- 7:12Speaker 2: nine dollars. Then he asked for gas money I gave
- 7:15Speaker 2: him another twenty. Then he called me in November and
- 7:17Speaker 2: asked for sixty more for steel toed boots. I didn't
- 7:22Speaker 2: get any more information on that, and then another eighty
- 7:24Speaker 2: for gas, all adding up to two UNRD sixty nine dollars. Okay,
- 7:28Speaker 2: Mathis says, Chris, did you ask for that money? He said, yeah, yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 2: she loaned me money for all that stuff. But she
- 7:34Speaker 2: owed me five hundred.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Dollars and I met her.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I met her before all of this. She was working,
- 7:40Speaker 2: she wasn't working at all, and asked for fi dollars
- 7:42Speaker 2: to pay some legal expenses. And Mathis goes legal expenses
- 7:51Speaker 2: and Tarror goes, yes, for an attorney. He goes what
- 7:53Speaker 2: the worthy illegal expenses for? And she goes for an
- 7:56Speaker 2: attorney and Mathis goes, I know it was for an attorney.
- 7:59Speaker 3: What was it?
- 8:00Speaker 1: Four?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Like, why did you need the attorney? Like, he's very
- 8:03Speaker 2: indignant that she She's like, yeah, it's for a lawyer.
- 8:06Speaker 2: He's like, I know that, and she's like, well, I
- 8:08Speaker 2: have my second O v I And he goes, second, ma'am,
- 8:13Speaker 2: two drunk driving arrests and you're mad and convicted of both,
- 8:18Speaker 2: and you're mad at this guy. Your brother for one,
- 8:21Speaker 2: and you asked for legal help for two. She goes
- 8:24Speaker 2: yep and yeah. And Chris is like, so, I wanted
- 8:28Speaker 2: to help my sister out. I gave her five hundred
- 8:30Speaker 2: dollars for this legal expenses. She said she would repay it.
- 8:32Speaker 2: She never paid it back. He goes, well, did you
- 8:35Speaker 2: ask her? Tara is suing Christ but Chris is counter
- 8:40Speaker 2: swing for five hundreds okay, So he says, all right,
- 8:44Speaker 2: well what did you do, Like, did you did you
- 8:46Speaker 2: try to collect the money? And he goes not, she's
- 8:48Speaker 2: my sister. I'm not gonna bother her. He goes, did
- 8:51Speaker 2: you ask her it all for this five hundred dollars?
- 8:53Speaker 2: He said no, I never asked her for the five
- 8:55Speaker 2: hundred dollars. And Tara says that's because it was a gift.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It was a gift. He didn't ask me for it
- 9:00Speaker 2: because he didn't say I'm lending you this. I lent
- 9:04Speaker 2: him this money. He said he would pay me back.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I have record of that. He just gave me the
- 9:09Speaker 2: five hundred dollars. Math is ready to rule. Oh my gosh,
- 9:13Speaker 2: I know out of nowhere. I thought we were halfway
- 9:15Speaker 2: through the case. And Maths had heard of it. I
- 9:17Speaker 2: don't feel like I have nearly enough.
- 9:19Speaker 3: No, and I'm shocked by his ruling. I'm just goldn't
- 9:22Speaker 3: say that right now. I'm shocked by his ruling.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, no, one gets money. They both got
- 9:28Speaker 1: to clean up their ass. They're both out there getting drunk,
- 9:32Speaker 1: getting some ov i's whatever it's called. Is that it
- 9:36Speaker 1: ov i's. They both have ov ivy, they both have
- 9:41Speaker 1: some av's out there, and I think it's auvy that
- 9:44Speaker 1: they both need to get a little help with their drinking.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And so instead of the money, they're gonna put that
- 9:48Speaker 1: money towards some rehab or some This isn't Steve.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Harvey, but trying to make me go no, that's that
- 9:56Speaker 2: isn't I'm gonna say no money for anybody. He as
- 9:59Speaker 2: soon as she says it was a gift. The second
- 10:02Speaker 2: time he goes it sounds like it was a gift
- 10:03Speaker 2: to me. You didn't bother your sister for a year
- 10:05Speaker 2: for this money. You admit that you did borrow the money.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Judgment in favor of the planet.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 10:10Speaker 2: He gives all the money to Tara, the two time
- 10:12Speaker 2: drunk driver offender. No money to the brother the one time,
- 10:16Speaker 2: five years, thank you for your service, army. Crazy crazy ruling.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Not that I don't think either of them had much
- 10:24Speaker 2: of a case, but I was very shocked that he
- 10:27Speaker 2: was like, judgment, for you, you didn't really do any
- 10:29Speaker 2: work to get your money back. It was a gift.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I think it was a gift, and I think you're lying. Wow,
- 10:33Speaker 2: he just decided he was that Chris was lying, all right?
- 10:36Speaker 2: Shout out mathis, shout out out, shout.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Out, shout out.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Shall we head over to Judge Faith? I would love
- 10:43Speaker 1: that always, parajudge always. I want to introduce you to
- 10:48Speaker 1: John mac not John McAfee, John mcnami. Very different. Yes,
- 10:55Speaker 1: he's doing James Payne for seven for seventeen one hundred
- 11:00Speaker 1: dollars for services that he did not get money for
- 11:06Speaker 1: that were rendered unrendered if you will, yes, and not
- 11:10Speaker 1: rent They didn't. You said services he didn't get money for.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's right, you mean services he didn't get in service
- 11:16Speaker 1: for his money. John did a service he didn't get paid. Oh, okay,
- 11:20Speaker 1: so it is services he didn't get paid for. God
- 11:22Speaker 1: it services rendered but not paid. And a private investigator
- 11:26Speaker 1: James pain Is countersewing for twenty five hundred for defamation
- 11:30Speaker 1: of characters? Shall we dive in? I would love to
- 11:32Speaker 1: dive in. John has been designing shirts. He's been in
- 11:35Speaker 1: the shirt business. Oh listen, as I'm talking about John,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I want you to think about our boy and just
- 11:44Speaker 1: keep that in mind, Like, how would he handle.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Our shirt boy? Our shirt boy?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Okay, So John has been designing shirts for thirty years.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You've been in the game for thirty years now, and
- 11:55Speaker 1: this isn't This is only the second time Dan in
- 11:59Speaker 1: thirty years that he has had to go to court
- 12:02Speaker 1: to collect payments. So first typically things go pretty well
- 12:07Speaker 1: for him. On the second time, he actually, well, they're
- 12:11Speaker 1: not gonna be here for that. He's actually worked with
- 12:13Speaker 1: James Payne once before and it was fine, no problems
- 12:16Speaker 1: with James. James works with high school students who are
- 12:20Speaker 1: getting athletic scholarships to help prepare them for college. So
- 12:25Speaker 1: I don't really know exactly what they do, but it's
- 12:27Speaker 1: some sort of scholarships help them. It almost seemed like
- 12:31Speaker 1: it was a it's like a it's a league. It's
- 12:33Speaker 1: almost like an aau thing kind of, but it's like
- 12:37Speaker 1: once the once your season is over and you have
- 12:40Speaker 1: a scholarship. You can keep playing in a league other
- 12:43Speaker 1: kids that also have scholarships to help get you. I don't.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And so James sends John an email with the design
- 12:52Speaker 1: that he's looking for in these shirts, in these jerseys,
- 12:53Speaker 1: and John is like, we can do this. They got
- 12:56Speaker 1: it ready to go. Uh, they sent it over for
- 12:58Speaker 1: approval to James. James, he says, James approved it. They
- 13:04Speaker 1: put it one hundred and twenty shirts, which costs just
- 13:07Speaker 1: shy of sixteen hundred dollars. One hundred and twenty shirts,
- 13:09Speaker 1: sixteen hundred dollars. Okay, there's different colors front and back. Yeah, design,
- 13:16Speaker 1: got it. So we see the mock up, which he
- 13:19Speaker 1: says James approved. James says that he never got that
- 13:23Speaker 1: email approving the order. He never saw the mock up.
- 13:27Speaker 1: John says, I have the email right here, and every
- 13:32Speaker 1: time we get shirts here, yes, ramble Jim, I have
- 13:35Speaker 1: to approve the artwork and I get the mock up
- 13:37Speaker 1: and they say this. This is one thing though, we
- 13:40Speaker 1: he says, we never do anything without confirmation. Judge Faith
- 13:43Speaker 1: asked if he has the email saying confirmed confirmed, and
- 13:48Speaker 1: he says, I don't have that email. My designer would
- 13:51Speaker 1: have that email. She says, could you get it? And
- 13:53Speaker 1: he says, I could probably get that, probably get it? Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: So I don't know. So James brings the shirt that
- 14:00Speaker 1: John printed, and then the correct shirt that he got
- 14:03Speaker 1: printed elsewhere, showing that the shirts that John printed had
- 14:07Speaker 1: the wrong logo for the sponsor on it.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 14:11Speaker 1: He also says, I didn't ask for Maroon. I asked
- 14:14Speaker 1: for Cardinal, but that's neither here nor there. Heproved the
- 14:17Speaker 1: mock ups. All of this is about approving the Maska.
- 14:19Speaker 1: So if we don't have that document, this is going
- 14:21Speaker 1: to be a problem. Faith says, okay, if the logo
- 14:25Speaker 1: is wrong and the color is wrong, why did you
- 14:28Speaker 1: go and pick them up, pay for them and leave?
- 14:34Speaker 1: He says it was my mistake not checking the shirts
- 14:36Speaker 1: before I left. When I go home and I see them,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I try to return the shirts to John. John wouldn't
- 14:43Speaker 1: go for it. He says all sales are final. So
- 14:46Speaker 1: he puts a stop payment on the check that he
- 14:50Speaker 1: paid with. So he goes. He says, I want to
- 14:53Speaker 1: return these shirts. Yes, he goes. He picks up the shirts,
- 14:56Speaker 1: he pays with a check. Yeah, gets home, looks at
- 14:59Speaker 1: the shirt, sees the logo. You didn't look at the store.
- 15:02Speaker 1: He didn't look at the store. He goes home, sees it,
- 15:06Speaker 1: tries to return it. John says all sales final, So
- 15:09Speaker 1: he puts a stop payment on the check. Faith asks
- 15:15Speaker 1: where the shirts are? Now, what do you do with shirts?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Wear our shirts?
- 15:20Speaker 1: Wear our shirts? I want to know what would you
- 15:22Speaker 1: What would you do in this situation? You were an
- 15:24Speaker 1: athletic coach. So let's say hypothetically you get a bunch
- 15:30Speaker 1: of shirts for your team and they're wrong, but you
- 15:34Speaker 1: can't get them back.
- 15:36Speaker 2: It's so hard because I've dealt with shirt people for
- 15:40Speaker 2: a long time and they've made mistakes. But when they
- 15:43Speaker 2: make mistakes, they always fix mistakes. Like our shirt guy
- 15:50Speaker 2: printed jerseys one hundred dollars a jersey with the shorts
- 15:55Speaker 2: in the jersey and it had two hours in forest. Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 2: but he took them all back on the design.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'm guessing it didn't have two rs.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:06Speaker 1: No, the design had it correctly. And so the problem
- 16:10Speaker 1: here is confirmation.
- 16:11Speaker 2: It's not the reason I have a hard time I
- 16:14Speaker 2: asked telling you what I would do is all of
- 16:16Speaker 2: this is when you do artwork on shirts and that's
- 16:20Speaker 2: your business. You get confirmation before you run that screen printer,
- 16:25Speaker 2: because it's your livelihood. Yes, and so if Payne confirmed
- 16:30Speaker 2: this and then goes it's cardinal, it's not whatever. It's
- 16:33Speaker 2: blah blah blah, theah logo's wrong on the he approved
- 16:37Speaker 2: it or he didn't approve it. If I don't know
- 16:39Speaker 2: that information, I have to side with the person that
- 16:42Speaker 2: didn't approve it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Well, let's keep going here, all right. Judge Faith asked
- 16:45Speaker 1: where the shirts are now. He says he gave him away.
- 16:47Speaker 1: She says to whom. He says, to the players, And
- 16:51Speaker 1: she said, well, wasn't that the purpose of the shirts
- 16:54Speaker 1: to begin with? If you gave them to the players.
- 16:57Speaker 1: If you gave them to the players, it's a tough one. Uh.
- 17:00Speaker 1: He says, yes, But they aren't. You know, they weren't
- 17:03Speaker 1: meant for game days.
- 17:04Speaker 3: You know.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They were just like, if you want to wear the shirt,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you can wear.
- 17:07Speaker 3: The order more shirt.
- 17:09Speaker 1: He did. He did order more shirts somewhere else he
- 17:11Speaker 1: has as far as I know, he has at least
- 17:13Speaker 1: one shirt in the in the courtroom. Uh, that is
- 17:17Speaker 1: the correct logo on the back of it. Once John
- 17:21Speaker 1: said he didn't want them back, and he was going
- 17:24Speaker 1: to sue me. I gave them to my players to
- 17:27Speaker 1: wear them if they want to. He was like, he's
- 17:29Speaker 1: gonna assume me. I'm gonna give him out. I don't care.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Uh.
- 17:32Speaker 1: She asks John about the conversation and he says, two
- 17:37Speaker 1: weeks go by after he picked up the shirts, and
- 17:41Speaker 1: I noticed that the payment the check. That's when I
- 17:44Speaker 1: noticed that the check wasn't wasn't happening. And so I
- 17:47Speaker 1: try to contact him and he's being he's he's not
- 17:52Speaker 1: telling me what's going on. He's saying things like there
- 17:56Speaker 1: must be a problem at the bank. Oh have we
- 18:01Speaker 1: see text messages? And he doesn't exactly say there's problems
- 18:04Speaker 1: at the bank. But when John is pressing him to
- 18:06Speaker 1: make good on the payment, James says, I don't write
- 18:10Speaker 1: bad checks. My checks don't bounce. So Faith is like,
- 18:15Speaker 1: this is why we do this show. This is a
- 18:17Speaker 1: fascinating case. It's a good case, whod case, good curse.
- 18:25Speaker 1: So Faith is like, so you never told him what
- 18:28Speaker 1: you did.
- 18:28Speaker 3: With the check. There's so much shady about what bring the.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Pain and James, And James says, I just wanted to
- 18:35Speaker 1: get him off my back.
- 18:36Speaker 2: He was texting me nonsense us, that's just not the
- 18:39Speaker 2: actions of a person who's right.
- 18:41Speaker 1: So John claims that there is evidence on James's Instagram
- 18:47Speaker 1: that he wore the shirt to games. Sure enough, there
- 18:54Speaker 1: is a video with him rocking the shirt. James says,
- 18:58Speaker 1: it's not the shirt. Faith says, what do you think,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'm blind? Multiple photos and videos show you wearing the
- 19:05Speaker 1: shirt at the games, and he says, no, they're the
- 19:08Speaker 1: new shirts. The picture that they have on the screen
- 19:13Speaker 1: shows him watching a game. So you know what, you
- 19:17Speaker 1: can see the back, you know what's on the back,
- 19:20Speaker 1: the logo. What's the shirts? He's wearing the wrong the
- 19:25Speaker 1: wrong logo. So that's tough. That's tough, he says. He
- 19:31Speaker 1: keeps saying they're not it's not the same shirts, but
- 19:34Speaker 1: it's clear. It's clear that the sponsor logo. And like
- 19:37Speaker 1: she asks it, Hey, John, you go over there, show
- 19:39Speaker 1: us what you want to see on this picture and
- 19:41Speaker 1: he's like, look at the logo.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Oh my goodness.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Uh. Faith says, how do you explain people in your league,
- 19:50Speaker 1: including yourself, wearing them if they're wrong? And he didn't
- 19:54Speaker 1: pay for it, yeah, and he says the front was correct.
- 19:58Speaker 1: So some folks still wore them.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Dude, this guy, this guy I was on when my
- 20:05Speaker 2: boy John, who's been in the business thirty years and
- 20:08Speaker 2: only been to court one other time, by the way,
- 20:10Speaker 2: which we don't get anymore on, when my boy John
- 20:14Speaker 2: didn't have a confirmation email on the mock up, I
- 20:18Speaker 2: was like, you're not getting a dime. And since then
- 20:22Speaker 2: it has been nothing but bad news for our boy.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Pain.
- 20:25Speaker 2: He is, he's just wrong here. He's just like, he's
- 20:30Speaker 2: so wrong. He's dirty and shady and it's unfortunate.
- 20:35Speaker 1: She asked about the defamation of character. James says that
- 20:37Speaker 1: John hired a private investigator who started harassing my boss
- 20:41Speaker 1: trying to collect payment. James says, my name and number
- 20:44Speaker 1: were on the thing, and so they shouldn't be conducting
- 20:48Speaker 1: anybody else but me. And Judge faith is like, well,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you weren't answering Texter calls, and he says they were
- 20:55Speaker 1: slandering my name. Private investigator made a statement to the court.
- 20:59Speaker 1: He's not there in court, but he provided a statement
- 21:02Speaker 1: saying that he went to serve James Payne a subpoena.
- 21:06Speaker 1: James gets in his car and speeds off while he's
- 21:11Speaker 1: trying to put the subpoena under his windshield wiper. James says,
- 21:17Speaker 1: wasn't me.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Percy commits a pena? Wasn't me?
- 21:21Speaker 1: Judge Faith said the wrong logo, wasn't me. That the
- 21:25Speaker 1: private investigator at the Gamemes wasn't me. Investigator reached out
- 21:30Speaker 1: to multiple people inside the building who did confirm that
- 21:34Speaker 1: that was indeed James Pain.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Judge Faith.
- 21:37Speaker 1: General Judge Faith is giving John all seventeen hundred dollars
- 21:42Speaker 1: sixteen hundred whatever it is, and that defamation of character
- 21:45Speaker 1: is hysterical. This is one hundred percent judgment in favor
- 21:48Speaker 1: of the plane. I have no questions about it. Uh yeah,
- 21:52Speaker 1: seventeen hundred dollars to my.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Boy, John deserve a penny.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And then she lectures James about how awful he is
- 21:59Speaker 1: and that nothing in life is free. He's yelling back
- 22:03Speaker 1: at her. I grew up in Detroit. I grind every day.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I know that nothing in life is free. My checks
- 22:10Speaker 1: don't bounce. They just kind of yell at each other
- 22:12Speaker 1: for a while. In a crazy turn of events. At
- 22:17Speaker 1: the end of this, you know, I typically don't stay
- 22:19Speaker 1: the aftercamp, but I did on this one, and the
- 22:21Speaker 1: AFTERCM that's what they call it The Aftercam on Judge
- 22:24Speaker 1: Faith Show. John says he would be willing to work
- 22:29Speaker 1: with James again if the circumstances were right.
- 22:34Speaker 3: John, this is this is not surprising for a shirt person.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I'd work with him again.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, people, because your people make mistakes all
- 22:45Speaker 2: the time and they know it and so they're just like, yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 2: I mean if it's money, I mean, if it's an account.
- 22:51Speaker 2: But after what James did, I can't imagine working with
- 22:53Speaker 2: him again. There's no stuff that's tough. The gabble there.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I love that. It's good stuff we did.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Everybody congratulate to us. We're gonna be back next to
- 23:02Speaker 1: another one. I think two more cases come on your way.
- 23:04Speaker 1: So come on back, will you? Until then? All right, right,
- 23:07Speaker 1: I got the show.
- 23:08Speaker 3: I got it my fault, Yo, Gabble Gabble.

- 23:19Speaker 2: At Yo Gavel Gable. We post all the time. Really
- 23:22Speaker 2: do leave us an Apple writing and review. It means
- 23:24Speaker 2: the world to us and actually puts a little money
- 23:26Speaker 2: in our pocket. So do that if you could the reviews.
- 23:29Speaker 2: The reviews don't, but it helps people find it in turn,
- 23:33Speaker 2: So it's the best way to help us without sending
- 23:35Speaker 2: us a check, which you can do that as well.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I just don't put a cash back on that or whatever.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Don't do that, don't do checks, don't bounce.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You're about to hear some ads that helped keep the
- 23:46Speaker 1: lights on here in the old studio. Thanks for listening,
