- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: What if everyone, it is Monday, I think.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't really matter.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's me, your host, Jim O'Sales.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: This is the sport, these those production, and we are doing part two, part duh, over wide receiver rankings.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: We weren't planning them going two parts, but we just got stuck in the weeds with the top 50, and we really wanted to break it down.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: So make sure you check that out, because it's pretty great.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then I got my co-host here, Antiquoranta, do a live from his car, post work, because putting it in the extra hours.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: What's up everybody, um, we only did the top 30, by the way, that's how much in the weeds we got, not the top 50.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: So we have got quite a bit to cover here on the second half.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: So not a whole lot going on, just happy to be here, um, happy to probably just jump right in and make sure we get to talk about all the guys we want to talk about.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: God, 30, oh my God, I'm just trying to pull it up.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, it's tough because I don't know what's more important, really, right?
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is it the first, like that first wave of wide receivers, but that everyone kind of has similarly, or is it the guys we're gonna talk about now, right?
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: The lake guys that can really swing leagues and give you a leg up, especially if you're doing as kind of most people say to go lane of wide receiver, right?
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and so I think it's probably, I mean, you want to hit on your guys early, but it just feels like getting that sleeper like the 10 to 11 12 Round of your drafts that ends up being a top 24 contributor at the position almost just gives you such a nice advantage, especially if you do hit on those early picks as well, you kind of, you know, you've really just loaded up at a discount on us.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's probably, I think that's probably a little bit more beneficial as you will.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it's probably easier to hit on water seabers late too, like just last season off the top of your head.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: Can you who, who do we, who do we have the hit like, Jacoby Myers and Parker Washington on Jacksonville, hit late.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: Michael, Michael Wilson with the Cardinals hit late.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Michael also was undrapped in and as soon as Martin here said, you know, we got the app and that to me, I immediately pick him up in every league and it was one of the best moments of my fantasy career.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: Adani Mitchell had a couple pop games once he got traded to the jats not like a ton not like a ton, but You know, just talking guys you could pick up off the waiver.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't even start for a couple weeks.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington Was undrafted and just kind of came on the second half of the season to be really a top receiver and we'll actually talk a little bit more about him today Alec beer stood in a couple years ago Even last years later on picked because people didn't
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, people didn't buy the one year on the one year wonder and he just so he just went ahead and did it again his lay around picks.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, getting some of those guys that end up being, you know, you can get them off the waiver wire or draft it and like the 15 16 round like the last round your drafts.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: If you get those guys that end up being like top 100 picks to following season, like that's that's a massive advantage.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so let's just what jump into it.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're kicking where in the year tier tier six, why the fee was like 31 to 45.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this Parker Washington thing, because we, you know, I've been talking about Daxville fair bit, but it's, you know, most crowd of widers, silver room probably in the NFL.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: Ben, I like talent, depth, and, you know, any one of the three, Parker Washington, Jacobi Myers, Brian Thomas Jr. could all finish his widers, silver one of that team, they could all probably finish his maybe what top 15 wide receivers that Daxville's offense is going to be great, probably throw 35 touchdowns.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't really know what to do, but the news that it can't is that Parker Washington does not leave They like the the training facility.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's the hardest working player in like the history of the world.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I need to move Parker Washington up in my ranks.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: I have him at the second guy in this tier.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's my wife receiver 32.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I'm going to bump him up into the next tier.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: Um, just to line up with Brian Thomas Jr.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I've heard the same things.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I've realized that Liam Cohen's slot receiver.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: is just absolutely incredible.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like a cheat code.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: He did it with Chris Godwin, who was the wide receiver too.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: I believe he did it with, I want to say Cooper Cup, as well.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: In the slot was it was a top end receiver.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just starting to kind of buy into the slot position in Liam Cohen's offense.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And from what we're being told that is going to be
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: And so he showed that he's got the talent.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is his fourth year.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to start being a little bit more patient and stop with that instant gratification.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like with his teammate, Brian Thomas Deenier, absolutely electric year one, right?
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's awesome.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's all we'll be need to fill our dopamine immediately and roll in.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: Year two, year two was a dud.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: He was lowering a new offense.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: He was injured.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: Some things weren't right.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: There are some reports that he's a totally different dude this year.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like sometimes he's guys just need time to develop, right?
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: And Parker Washington might be just the most recent case study on that.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: He really didn't, he flashed in a second year kind of a gamer two year or there when he was needed.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: But last year when he kind of got the opportunity for an extended run, he took off with it.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: He was really like a type thing.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: He was a top 15 receiver.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: Once he kind of got
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just really expect him to continue to develop Liam Cohen, loves him.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: We've heard all the camp.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: And Buzz, like you said, he's the first guy in the first ally he doesn't leave.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and so yeah, like give me Jimmy Parker Washington.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it just hits a lot of these metrics.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: The just Jacobi Myers trade is just, and with the Travis Hunter thing, it's just, it really muddies the waters.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I love, I'm a big fan of what did they do in the playoffs?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Cause that's where the KBS were, you know, the brightest buttered where you can measure another thing that didn't work.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: But that's where you measure up who your guys like.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I like it, like, coals to loveland, Greg is kale, just 25 targets and two playoff games.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: Parker Washington was a lead target get in the playoff game.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's just, you know, I think we sometimes undervalue the chemistry that the the cubies have with their certain wide receivers that they like and we think it's more just this offensive philosophy.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, if you're cuby-like to, he's looking your way first of your first re-chairs grade, if you're open, if it's as a slot, the players are designed to get you open.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's just, we just draft Parker Washington and we just, you know, if we have burned by Brian Thomas, you know, having another
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: who's to say at this point that Trevor Lawrence can't support two top twenty wild receivers.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: I know I don't have him ranked top twenty, but just for the conversation.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: He has improved every year as well, right?
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know they signed to Cully Myers is really just going to create such a bugaboo because they signed him to that really pretty large contract.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: before Parker Washington broke out.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: And so there've been a user.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I feel like he's almost maybe more of a better NFL receiver than the fantasy receiver.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: If that makes sense, like he's gonna do, like move the change and do its necessary, but I think the big plays and kind of I guess like the big stack games are probably gonna come from Brian Thomas Jr. Parker Washington.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I get we'd have to know about why to see recess, but like to cope, Myers was so good mid-season trade, which he'd see it.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: He scored so many touchdowns and whole thing in New England was he kind of would go like, he went like a touchdown in two seasons, right?
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: So it's really top for me.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously the answer is just drafts to have her Lawrence, but we're doing live receivers.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's just, let's keep going here.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: I got too many taps.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: What do we, what do we want to talk about next?
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, we could talk about one deal a little bit.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: I've got one deal a couple of or here.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: So we go back to Terry.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go back to Terry.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about Terry McClure in the last podcast because he was in the top 30.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about him again.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Now that they have signs to fun digs, um, I've dropped him quite a bit.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's my wife receiver 34.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now, um, and John, I think we, I think we can have a conversation here.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it's one that you're not going to like to have, but
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: How, how sure are we that, I mean, you know, you know, how far are we that Terry McClure and is that much better than Stefan Diggs at this point in their careers?
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: But how sure are we of that that they should be ranked so far apart?
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: 97%.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: See, I'm much lower.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it's like 50-50 to me, honestly, like Stefan Diggs.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: Stefan Diggs is lucky one of the best receivers of his generation, like point plank.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: He was one of the best rout runners.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was the one of the best rout runners of his time, and that doesn't just go away.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: He still earned the thousand yards last year, while playing part-time on a run-first offense.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas, I mean,
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: Termical Warren hasn't had the seasons that Stefan Diggs has had.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: I know that, Termical Warren hasn't had the quarterback to do it, right?
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's always been his thing, or as Stefan Diggs largely had Josh Allen for the prime of his career.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: But even just from like a pure wide receiver talent standpoint, Terramaclorn to me, it's never even been in the conversation for like, top 10, or Stefan Diggs has solidly been in that conversation for most of his career.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I know the age, Stefan Diggs is 33, Terramaclorn is 30.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: So I understand that like, Stefan Diggs is really kind of at that clear.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Full Terramaclorn's getting there.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: But man, I just don't really, all right, I'm all right, Cooper's very fell off.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that that was, that was a, that was a steep fall off.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: But yes, like, I'm just not entirely convinced that Terry McClellan is leaving some bounds better than stuff on this, like I'm just not.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: And then my whole thing about like taking a taste in the ghost, I mean McLaren's got that one great year, it is entire career, right, two years ago they're working Jane Daniels here, I mean at some point, you know, you kind of all you are who your career says you are like that's what I have with Lamar Jackson right he's.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: 25 passing touchdowns, but everyone falls in love with that two years ago when he threw for 41.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: But really, and it's his career, he's really good in a 25 passing touchdown.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's what his, you know, his average, that's what he's most likely to have.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: So at some point, you know, it's like your averages are your career.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: Got your outlier blipier and if you keep chasing that one great year, you're going to be disappointed a lot more than you are going to be worthy.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And let's look at Michael Pettman, as kind of I think a guy that comps similarly in that regard, like Michael Pettman was always supposed to be the guy to take the next step, take the next step, take the next step.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: And then he finally does, right?
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: He ends up being like a top 15-wide receiver.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: I put him inside my top 10 the following year.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I know he had an injury, but he kind of just falls off a cliff back to average, even below average, even looking at the guy like cool and stuff and both of those guys are also in this tier, where's an alley enough always very talented.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: We were always just waiting for the quarterback waiting for the quarterback waiting for the quarterback sure he's put up a couple of mostly touchdown or double digit touchdown seasons at this point, but he never really got to the point.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: where we thought that he reached his potential.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now he's on the wrong side of 30 and has been replaced by Jalen Wattelos, the wide receiver one, like that comes quickly as well.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: And not that Stefan Diggs is Jalen Wattel, he's much older, uh, Blasie Blah.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: But it almost feels like Washington, not necessarily trying to replace Macquarie because he's still going to be the one, but it is almost just trying to, I guess, replace him in a sense for the sake of the conversation and the comparison, right?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: They just, they feel like they needed a lot more and so they went out and got a lot more, even if it's a 33 year old stuff on digs who again, put up the thousand yards last season on a limited stoptale.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then in drafted and told what Antonio Williams, the rookie, I think they're around, right?
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: He could be good.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: So we watched and stuff.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were like top five and vacated targets, which was kind of surprising to me, but you know, that offense isn't flux.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think Diggs could end up being the widest ever one.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a bad bet, it's just not what I'm going to make.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about a guy I bet I have been.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: Commence to make Jordan Tyson.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just had Jason and we talked about working wide receivers, but I kind of want to double down.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's like every season.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: He's working wide receivers.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'll perform their ADP.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: You don't really use you want the top guy.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: The Marvin Harrison's Jr.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you want to even count.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: Jack's aville.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's our jack's guy.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember something.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: We're no blanking.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_01]: But the top guy aren't Thomas Jr.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: Grab a slender, no, grab a slender.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: The top guy doesn't know necessarily always hit, but you go down the line and you get these later wider severs that you get closer to 180 to 100.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: And they just crushed their ADP.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: They finished the season strong.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: So Tyson was probably the best wide receiver in college.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the injuries.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: But now he's in his past first kill and more offense.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Shucks broke through 260.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have much of a running game.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: They might have a bad defense.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Be it shootouts, write that division.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: Very shootout friendly.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: You got that.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: You got inside playing in the dome.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like all these marks.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just like I'm almost now.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm taking Jordan Tyson and every draft because if a lobby gets hurt with this concussion issues, I think I think I think it's going to be a top 10 wide receiver as a rookie boom.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: Please please please Jordan Tyson take care of those hamstrings take care of those soft tissues and all of all that stuff because I agree with you Jordan Tyson is my like my rookie like my guy receiver like I I
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: If I had the opportunity, I would really consider taking him over a cryolate.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: And so, I'm with you.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love the offense, I love the environment, I love killing them.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: More, I love Tyler Shuck, I love playing across from Chris Alave, because he's taking a lot of pressure off.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: They have...
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: They have a pretty decent, uh, a rushing attack in Travis HN, and Alvin Khmerra for whatever you think he's still, you know, he's still going to get some sort of production, um, even if it's a receiver, it's not going to be anything that maybe fantasy relevant, and we can save that for the running back podcast.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: But, but yeah, I mean, Jordan Tyson very well could just slot in as the second best player on these offense.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: not just second best receiver or second best player and so yeah I would be very in on him taking I'd be in on taking that risk in this tier To go get Jordan Tyson and just get the upside
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm just trying to go and up like I Jordan Tyson I would probably I might take over Rome in Alec Pierce like I take them over Mike Evans like a lot like I just just the upside and the camp I mean depends what I'm doing my draft and how injury.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: You know, risky.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be because I think, Cowan wise, he's up there with all those guys, but did it sometimes we forget the injury risk because we just play the most optimistic scenario and that it, you know, and it's just that is unrealistic, especially recently we've seen why to see if we get hurt.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's what we're going here.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: So we're talking about kind of guys.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: people like to just bet on who they will be and you kind of ignore who they've been.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: So like Kayden reads another guy, right?
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: I always fell in love with him in that week one Brazil game.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: He was a wide receiver one versus Philly hit like 180 yards.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: And he hasn't really done anything since he had like five games under 35 yards later in that season.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: But we got to outtaining WixCon.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: We've got.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: Romeo Dobbs gone.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: If Golden's not good, I mean, is it Watson gets hurt, like they didn't really could be back to being an alpha target.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I liked it and read a lot.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: I just need him to play in two wide receiver sets.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I think this might be the year that he finally does it.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to fall into the, I'm going to fall into the trap again.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think the math you golden is very good.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't very good prospect.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't that great in college.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: He had an abysmal rookie season that like is just very hard to recover from statistically and all of the markers.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm I'm just I'm very out on Matthew golden, which has me very in on Jade and reading.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about Christian Watson's last podcast.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I have mold here above.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jane, if Jane and Reed plays in two ways, and Jane and Reed is the starter and two ways to receive her test sets, then move him up an entire tier, because he is going to make some noise.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: He, they like to draw a place up for him, he'll get some rushing attempts as well, so yeah, just the more playing time for him, the better, and I just don't trust Matthew Golden.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yes, I mean, yeah, we'll have like a 9.8 target chair, but it's it's so funny because I remember it coming out of camp.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: They said like he hadn't dropped a ball the entire summer and it was like there's all this golden height.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: There was kind of a crowded wide receiver room, but not top heavies.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: So there was a packed emerging as a wide receiver one.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: but nobody really hit it, but so suck.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: Cause we have to play a little optimistic kind of roulette.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: And where it's, but if you, you have to make both sides of the bet, right?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're gonna be out on one guy on a team, it makes sense that you should be also be in on the other guy, right?
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I like that.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: Out on Golden, in on Reed, we're also in a Watson, so then you're almost in on Green Bay's passing attack.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: So Tucker craft, quickly, would you be, are you still in on him?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Cause apparently he said the best rehab ever
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: I am, but I think he's going as like a top five tight end.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: Is that correct?
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm off top my head.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that just feels.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: That feels a little too pricey for me.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: I would probably rather take the receivers at their cost, but I mean, I do like talk or crap.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: They just feel like you should probably go more towards like Kyle pits, Harold fan and kind of more so in that range.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: Which is maybe like rout or two around or two later, but I do like them just not a cost.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I feel like we could just just could be like a 10-part podcast, talking about receivers.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: We got to kind of pick and fuse a little bit better, but one more, I got one talk one this year, Josh Downs.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right, talk about vacated targets earlier, right?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: We got Michael Pittman gone, 80, Mitchell gone.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: Jones is going to be healthy.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: Dana Jones didn't really run it all last year.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's pretty much a pure passing QB.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's just kind of, well, run for the touchdowns.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: They said, Nancy Richardson is not going to really be back or last season or start again.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: We're promoting the guy Riley Leonard.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just love Josh downs.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: He got penalized by the emergency to Tyler Warren, but now with Pierce with his foot injury and Pierce is really just this deep target, you know, some get right.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Josh downs could be getting 10 targets a game, action aid of them for 60 to 75 yards, patting some touchdowns and finish with this top 25 season,
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Where are you out with him?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm unbelievably eye on him.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: I would have him high or in a full PPR league, then I do an half PPR because he could just get peppered with targets.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: You're absolutely right.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: I also wonder if Takam and Tyler Warren maybe take up the same area of the field.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: So that would be interesting to see how they split that up.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, by and large, Alec Pierce is more of the deep, the deep threat.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to take the top off and he's great as I have him, obviously around you to your head.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm Ian on Josh downs.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how Ian, but I don't hate the pick.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't hate the pick.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Just not, probably not my favorite in this tier, but I think he's fine.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think he could return value, especially if the Alibar Sancle surgery doesn't heal as well.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's probably supposed to so practice him in the next week or so.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but obviously there can always be set back.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: Stainl Jones becoming more of a pocket passer, especially off of a torn Achilles.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: I would expect at least in the beginning of the season.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to probably try to stay in the pocket more than not.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: Dainl Jones is good, but what we said he was good.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: I've known all along that Dainl Jones is good.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and so that is good for Josh Towns.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and so he's he's a fine pick.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: And if anyone, if you're watching, you're enjoying us.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Bring that wide receiver.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: Check out part one, obviously.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Make sure you give us a like.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God, the call.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: Follow us.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you're on.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a YouTube channel.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: Check out the S 40 to the fancy football draft guide.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's shock full of goodies, projections, mock drafts, tools, rankings, everything, right?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: Sleepers, boss.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if you, if you want it, it's there.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to keep going, let's just bounce the next tier quickly and then we can we'll do kind of a quick power view or talk to some guys we're like, so tier 47 59, it's kind of thin and out of it, but still talent.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to relax, like, who do you like most in this tier, because we pretty much go to the top guys.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about, I want to talk about three players in particular, and that's Quentin Johnson,
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I have them rang to back to back to back.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: These are three players that I like a lot better and best fall than I do in your managed leagues, your redraft leagues, and that's because they are, they're not very consistent players for more boon bus players think I'm going to bring up a couple of Steelers here.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: Um, for those of you that are a little younger, Chase Claypool.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: right he's going to have four touchdowns or he's not going to record a catch and for you older fans listening to this thank you Mark Davis Brian also with the Steelers you remember him
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: How he would have these monster games on your bench, right?
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, man, how do I bench that guy?
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: And so you started for the next three games, trying to chase that 40 point game, and you're like, man, I just can't do it anymore.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I've had points on my bench.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, I got a bench in.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then you do, then he puts up another 35 points and you're just like, oh my goodness.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so that is that, that's kind of how I lump,
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: Johnston were the inch-ahead is like, I like them all.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_00]: I do.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're all talented.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: I just am probably going to let somebody else deal with the headache in my managed leagues.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I get that.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Johnston's little maybe more reliable, although I think he did like have a couple of zero outs last year, but they had keen in Allen, right?
- 22:56[SPEAKER_01]: So he'll, I think as he said, is the white receiver too, also with McDaniel, top five offense, you know, if Herbert's throne for 35, right, Johnson's got back-to-back seasons with a touchdowns.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Just like scroll in here, he's a guy, I would probably chase the most here for sealing.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's got the best shot.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Were these top because right, he got hurt in a week one and the season never really got going.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: But where she rice can't say healthy.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: So is there a world where rice gets hurt again and then where the, you know, and my hope, but that provides on my home story deep again.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: My home is kind of this is 25 and 20 touchdown guy now.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's not that 50 touchdown guys.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's not what the offense is built around.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that is that's really disappointing.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: And where the I believe's already screened his shoulder early in camp.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: And so right now, again, just in my redraft leagues, he's he's a really, really tough click.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: But I agree out of the out of the three kind of spike week bestball players, Quentin Johnson would be the one I picked.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_00]: So when I have ranked ahead of the other two, because the offensive environment, I believe he has eight touchdowns in back to back season.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's like that's something maybe he gets a little more consistent.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: I almost like try Harris a little bit more.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's your lower, but you know, those are kind of guys that really go on drafted.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, Quain Johnson's definitely got the highest ceiling.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think probably in this tier.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you want to go with the rookie in case he concepts your own who could be the one in Cleveland, I know it's Cleveland and they have their Sanders and.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're trying to watch in and tail and green and drama, probably call you to play quarterback for a week or two.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the kid is super good, super talented.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Then I have Travis Hunter all the way at the bottom.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know what to make about, what do you think about Travis Hunter?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: I know I kind of moved this along.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think, I don't care, it's because there, if they add two wide receivers, maybe, but with the three, it's just,
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: he might get 20 targets like he's a crazy part of just yeah he's like he's any arguably might be like the most talented one just pure like athletic talent right like he might be like the most athleticly gifted one of them all but he's such a he being not a wider fever.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: Especially, yes, especially when you're wide receiver, three inch of Kobe Myers at the top of this tier.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: I hope I think it's a great floor pick.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: You're paying them, $60 million.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you're not, I just don't know it's make a Travis Hunter, but that's kind of getting back into the whole jags.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: What do you do with that receiver group?
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm probably just taking my bets on Thomas Jr. and Washington.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: And if I just need somebody for like a full experience, I took like a couple like high ceiling guys and I need to prepare for if they don't work out.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy to take Chitobi Myers.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably a great floor play.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: Probably get you around 8 to 10 points again, depending on your scoring format.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes that's all you need out of a flex.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's also, it's just, I like to break everything down in like percentages where it's like, yeah, to Kobe Myers, maybe there's a 20% chance.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: He goes off and has this great season because, you know, BTJ or part of watching it get hurt.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Probably 50% chance, he just is wide receiver 35 to 50.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: And just, you know, 800 yards, handful of touchdowns.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is viable but not great at any point in that 20% where he just doesn't just doesn't get the targets right and it's just Be Brian Thomas shooter gets has a throwback to the rookie season part of Washington's a legacy for one those guys combine for like 2400 yards in the public.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: This is odd man out right so
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: you never know what scenario is going to go to happen.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just in one league, like the sister said, one league, I might not draft any of them.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_01]: I might just go for lords.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: But what if you were in the like 10 leagues, would you ever just get like Parker Washington in eight or would you do maybe I'll get Washington in three, BTJ in three, and then I might get Myers in like two.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'd probably do something like that, like a 3, 3, 2, maybe even like a 4, 4 and 1.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'd probably be pretty split pretty evenly between Parker Washington and Brian Thomas Jr. and have, like I said, if I have 4 of each, I'm going to have 1 or 2 of Jacobi Myers, and that's just how it's going to work.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: But again, it also just depends on the team, like I said, if you've build your team and say, you know, you took Quint Johnson and Rashichi, right?
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want those boom wigs and you need somebody to fill in a floor.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: My eyes are great.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, one day I wanted to, so I want to talk a little Macay lemon because it's tough because it's like I feel like we should have a hot tattoo.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: Don't overreact the camp.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: But it seems like there's a chance I'm taking a wix could start as the wide receiver too.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: So what do you do with this rookie like lemon who's I think a super talent.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: Jason was talking with the maybe using him in the run game.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like the only uses of two wide receiver sets and if wix is the wide receiver too to start.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just him and Devante Smith.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: Levin might have like a Matthew Golden 8% target share and you just stashing him on your bench and hoping you know, that one of them gets hurt or what's maybe sucks.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's a chance that you draft Levin and he barely plays all season.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: There is, um, and I just don't really know what to do with him.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: I might, might end up moving him down.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm certain I can move him up.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's been a bit injured in camp as well.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: He feels like a guy that you had somebody else draft.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: They sit on them for a couple weeks, they drop them, and you pick them up when you think he's about to get hot.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of feels like one of those players to me because, you know, at the end of your drafts, you always, you know, you're drafting guys, we're like, I'm gonna know if he is a role right away.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we won.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm gonna know, like, if this was a good pick or not.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: And if not, like, I'm just gonna drop him move on to the guy that I probably should have picked to, who popped in week one.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's how it works.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like right when you are trying to figure out like the roles early in the season and lemon feels like one of those guys that Unless he just has a great week one someone's going to draft him and like the 10 to 11 12th round.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to do a whole lot for the first couple weeks because he'll use a run heavy offense as well.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll drop him something will happen and he's going to get high reasoning it picked up and he's going to pop.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's how I would take.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: or fancy football experts, but we're just still dudes and chairs and cars, right?
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: How we wrote that is the best GM maybe in recent memory.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just like, he went out of his way to draft this guy.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't mind riding his piggyback and his coat tails and say, you like this guy, I also like this guy.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good chance.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's the best fighter savior in the class.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: He could be the wife of a silver one on Philly or he might not play.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: The variables are huge.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: The possibilities are, you know, or it's a two side of coin.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: So like at that point in the draft, I don't mind taking the bet, but I'd make maybe depends on the league size.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like in a deeper bench.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_01]: When I can afford to stash them at the worst happens, I'm taking it.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: But if I only got like three bed spots, and you know, a 10 to 10 man, no, we're probably not taking that bet, right?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: But 14, 14 team deeper league.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, give me that upside every time.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I like that in and you're right and it's like at a certain point that the Eagles are like the best run organization football they they just hit on all their picks and so like yeah my cry lemon is probably going to be good and so if just no like if you do take it for listening to this and you do decide to take my cry lemon and he does nothing for the first month of the season like you have to be prepared to eat it and just just write it out because you will end up missing the reason you drafted him so.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: drafts him.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's choice you've got to make, but just be prepared to hold him for like a month before you really make a decision on whether you're going to keep him or not.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's hit this last year, man, the time flies already 30 minutes in.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: So guys, make sure if you drop the liking falls on Twitter, comment your wide receivers, you drop your rankings all look at them, sure whatever.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: But subscribe to you too, channel, it really goes a long way.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we're in this last year.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: If it's funny, look at this year and I hope it's like it better than the tier above.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's interesting, man, it's tough.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so I definitely do like some of the names as well.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like we both love Jayla McMillan.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: We've talked about him on our best ball podcast.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_00]: We've drafted him a few times.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's just so crowded.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's dealing with the knee injury now.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: So it's tough to rank him higher than this.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: But he's a guy that I'm gonna take a shot on at the end of my, I'm gonna probably work highs at the end of my draft.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: and take a shot in the last maybe two rounds.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because he could end up being the wider receiver too with a pissed off baker me for that we talked about on part one of this show and that's awesome.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: And so I want a piece of that and so if I missed out on the books offense and I need to receive a relay to my drafts like Jaden McMillan's going to be an easy click to add to the end of my bench.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, for sure, right at this point, it's all these, they're crowded with receiver rooms or empty ones, because there's no really QB there, right?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like 80 Mitchell, one of my favorite guys, but then they drafted Omar Cooper, right?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: You might be good.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: They have another rookie whiter receiver too, right?
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: And the Garrett Wilson's obviously the one.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know if Tito's waft or whatever, so, you know, but 80 Mitchell could be an actual superstar.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: He honestly could be.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: Tina's going to be the best to be he's ever had.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I get he had no tones, but where he's getting targets.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I just think that's such crazy.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's just 80 minutes.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's just the guy I'm getting every draft.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: And best well, every time we do a best full draft, I make his trap, 80 Mitchell.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: This because he's still far down there.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think the upside is it's just, it's so crazy.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's that 10% chance he's a top 15 one receiver.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_01]: And at this point, I have no problem taking that bet.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then like what a
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: We could be desperate for running back and you're like, I want 80 Mitchell is my not paying for it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like John, we don't need a 9th receiver.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: And we click them anyway.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: And we got.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then we're we probably just lost.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, then we probably want a lot of money.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: Um, one of the guys that I love in this tier that's a pretty long shot is Jalen Noel, um, he was, it was arguably better than Jalen Higgins at Iowa State, um, who was drafted around before him to the same team.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: I, I just think I think that he has a chance to be the wider receiver three in this offense and take over for tank Delos to work means way back from some gruesome.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let's first some Mike and three does look good.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: Jail in the well looked good last year in spurtsy and he was great in college.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_00]: He's just a guy that I see taking the next step.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the whole Texans offenses undervalued as I have tanked out as the final receiver.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: Number 75 on my list.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that they're just pretty underrated as all and that includes the quarterback, CJ Straud.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think we see more, I think we see closer to rookie season, K-Libs, or CJ Straud, than we do kind of the floor of what we've seen him to be.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: They've just got such a talented offense, and Jail the Wall's one of those guys that I think about if it's given the opportunity.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, everyone's letting me make a bet.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you want to make that.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really see it because I like Higgins and then also a tank dial.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think no, I could be the widers here before on a team that is really going to need to pass and doesn't look that hasn't looked that great passing in general.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: My favorite guy here, how do you pronounce it?
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Dizon, the Shawn, Fribbling?
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: Dizon?
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, I'm not on a person's shirt.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Dizon is what I would do with, but I don't have a sword.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_01]: Big on Ricky Pierce all.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: He wiped me out.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: I had to take a bunch of images.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Articles that were Ricky Pierce all.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_01]: Bye, Fribbling.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: just the role.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's like people said that they were as favor-wide receiver in the draft, but that's just people of whatever.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's not that board.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_01]: San Fran, sub station, whatever, huge risk.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, he could be the wider receiver one on a top 10 offense, but it's Brock Perti, Aaron it out, who's going to throw over 4,000 yards, 30 touchdowns.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: Eddie, you're getting him here.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: The certainly the top five must draft wide receiver for me.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: At cost I could I could see it.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I prioritized him that highly Especially since they signed Debo Samuel who Not even sure you put Debo like Evans near that sub station And he think they're going to say healthy like that's that's crazy to me No, it's probably not going to happen.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm looking.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know that I ranked Debo Samuel.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: No, that I look at it, which is an oversight And he probably ends up
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I do have deepest in ranked.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't ranked as wide receiver 44.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that feels about right.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I was going crazy for a second, but yeah, the sub station is really not, it's not kind to the players out there in the Bay area.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: They gotta get out of dogs and just move the entire team somewhere different.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: They got to do something, um, but I just I love scribbling.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: I, uh, I will be taking him in.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have him in every draft.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'll ever draft.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: I have just because it's just I think opportunity.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think it just it hit every marker for me.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: These rookie wide receivers, right?
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: He could there's a 5% chance.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's a top 15 wide receiver and he just went to your lead.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_00]: anything is possible.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um over like Omar Cooper's not going to know.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: Omar Cooper doesn't have that chance.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: No well doesn't have that chance.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: Moody doesn't have that chance.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: Golden maybe because he's got a pedigree.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's no Boston's a guy.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think he might have a little low.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think I would flip him into the conception because Boston apparently is having this unbelievable summer.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: He had like three touchdowns earlier in training camp.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting these first team reps. Um it seems like he's
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, again, I don't conceptions, sorry.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was looking at that just now.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was looking at that just now.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, Boston, I agree.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: The hype's kind of been there over the past week.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I got to get back in here and kind of make some moves over the next day or two with some of the noise.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was a ball since the guy I'd be your mark to move up even if it's just a handful of spots, like he definitely used to move up with it.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm first sure.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think the last guy I at least for me the last guy I want to talk about in this tier is the last wide receiver one that we have ranks down here below some wide receiver force and that's Malik Washington with the Miami Dolphins.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: currently than the wide receiver one on their death chart and the wide receiver 70 in my rankings.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: Am I my off base?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: Because he's a wide receiver one, is it's fair because it's Malik Willis and Susan Thorpe 170 Georgia game and like run the ball for 100 yards again like
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: Is this one where I'm wrong?
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: Am I right?
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: Or are we just indifferent on the Lake Washington?
- 38:29[SPEAKER_00]: I just wasn't sure what to do with him.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, nobody will be able to give you that answer, but yeah, maybe he's too low.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's like it's still early.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: August we don't know who's going to be what they're talking about Chris Bell being ready for week one and that maybe he to be the white Saber one.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: two two owls, also kind of good.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: But if Mike Washington's out wide receiver one, I mean, we know what defense is going to do against Miami.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to stack the box, right?
- 38:56[SPEAKER_01]: Willis showed some profistions he's a passer.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: If he will restore over 220 instead of 170, and the League Washington's the wide receiver one getting 60, 70 yards and six grabs, that's a top 30 top 40 wide receiver season, and he just smoothly crushes his ADP throw in some touchdowns.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: And everyone looks stupid for not like why wouldn't we draft the white receiver one and we're draft the white receiver for us and other teams.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I love I love the option to leak Washington, but I want to see a little bit how the summer progresses and what Miami's kind of rotation looks like.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what do you think about honestly the most.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: A complex is the worst looking for the most accomplished receiver on this Dolphins Dept chart is Jalen Tolbert
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, had the, has a seven, has a seven touchdown season of down there with Dallas, um, I think you had about six hundred yards that season.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: He's, he's had a pretty decent season.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, I like taking a last round, more so for basketball.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the last one, Dardo and him, you're probably not going to draft him in your redraft legs, but that's the name that I would just keep in the back of your mind as well.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: Um, kind of throughout the season as a guy that could emerge as somebody really important to that often's, um, that often's passing.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you just want to maybe just y'all you want to take one dolphin, why receiver would even see latinage like just take one and just see.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_01]: I would take Chris Bell because I do I'm going to shoot the upside there where it's even told we're like, oh, I don't think there's a scenario told where it gets a thousand yards.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, it says, you know, I was like, I don't think any of them do.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe I know, but maybe that, you know, it's ever the chance, but I'm just saying actually take one, I'm going to take the one who's got the most likely chance, like even here, like Isaac Tesla looks is kind of this amazing wide receiver, but he's a clear wide receiver three clear fourth option on the right, the only way he makes a move the season is somebody's got to get hurt and he gets to move out the deaf chart, right?
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: There's no room even he's like a superstar wide receiver.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's just not replacing James William's a monwrong,
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: But give me that Detroit offense.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, if you can afford to stash, right?
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I've just given me those super high end stashes in these high end offenses.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do on Jennings, I just, I don't want the third wide receiver with Kyler.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if Jeff's gonna get hurt, her Jennings get some work, but like, I just, it just seems capped to me.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, you know, like, I like tray hair.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, give me, give me this wide receiver way down the dev turn, but on the offense, I know it's gonna be awesome.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll at least take that chance where if the flyer hits, I know it's going to be kaboom.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Floor Noine, who CD Lamb says could absolutely be that guy to get them a third 1000 yard receiver this season.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, yeah, no fun.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's a great pick, right?
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: Lamb's kind of been hurt for the last couple years.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, maybe pickins like fights a fan.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you know, anything possible.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's a contract here.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: He probably won't.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: We got a reason on attack.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: He won some money.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got anything quickly.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: You wanted that we maybe didn't get the hit or anyone.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_01]: uh... treacher and you have a turn
- 42:09[SPEAKER_00]: Traitsucker, we skipped on Traitsucker's talk about him earlier, he's the wider receiver one in Vegas.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: He had 90, he had almost 100 targets last year.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_00]: He had like seven plus yards.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: He had a big blow up game.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: I know that was where a lot of production came from.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: But you love to see that your players have the potential for those big games.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_00]: They've improved the offensive line.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: They've got an improved quarterback situation, even if it was not Kirk
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: They've got an improved play caller in Clankoobiac.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's outside of Brock Bowers and Ascend Gentie.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's the best player on on this offense, I think, right?
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: Let's scale position wise, like he's the best player.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: I know they signed Jalen Naler, who I also like, who I think is a little shift year, maybe a little bit more of a ceiling play per se, in the guy that the new coaching staff hand picked.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I get the argument there.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: He just hasn't done it before and I just need to see it
- 43:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know he was behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison over there in Minnesota, but I've seen Tray Tucker do it.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen him have a game that's seen and have productive consistent seasons.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_00]: He's been relied upon.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: I like Tray Tucker a lot over here in tier six.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's my wife receiver 45 and the longer the Raiders go without signing.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: He and Alan or literally anybody else.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: The higher Tray Tucker's going to get ranked.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, tree tackers, you're guy.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's not my guy.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_01]: I remember I saw your tweet being like, uh, why do people discount these giant spike weeks and hold them against them?
- 43:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, it was like, you're sub-tweeting me about tree Tucker.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, it was not, but I disagree.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good argument.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, just because the guy, how pit's right at that three touchdown tray Tucker was the widest ever one in a week three with the three touchdowns to do that much after.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, if you, you could do that.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: If you're ruled out that week, he's the widest server 94, but you rule it in.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's the widest server like 37 or something, right?
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's not really fair, but or maybe it is.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure, I'm not sure.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_01]: The jury still out.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: I also feel like you can, you know, he'd he's still a pretty young player and it's like these guys, they show that they're going to have these games and then they get in better situations like they can improve not that he's going to score three touchdowns every other week and be like the wide receiver one.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: But he's got the potential and so he can improve and just be more consistent and so that's that was kind of the point of by of my tweet there with with people that kind of like the cherry pick and take out like the the blow games is like you just completely discounting a lot of the players profile and and their situation and it's just it's not a complete picture without all of the stats.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's true.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: We could have done.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't go part three, part four, four, four, four, five, but we're going to call this is the two part.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you see for podcasts?

- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: We're definitely going

- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: Keep the sun out of my eyes You're happy drafting.
