Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: DFW. It's time to welcome Welcome the Kid by the Kid.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You need a Kid in the Morning, starring the one
- 0:10Speaker 2: and only Candice Lopez and producer Pooh.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Really the Kid in the Morning, incredible life and logo.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Really's a Kid in the Morning. We're going a right
- 0:26Speaker 1: good morning. It's makes one or two point nine Billy
- 0:29Speaker 1: the Kid. Candaslopez, it's your producer. Poo is here. I've
- 0:32Speaker 1: already been startled by a Candis Lopez sneeze. And it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: not even a six am for somebody so little and
- 0:38Speaker 1: so quiet. She sneezes like a three hundred pound trucker.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Will they just come out of nowhere? I would give
- 0:43Speaker 3: you a heads up if I knew a heads up,
- 0:45Speaker 3: but I don't even know that they're coming.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I gotta record one, but I just don't. I need proof.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It's like bigfoot, I need proof.
- 0:52Speaker 3: They just like process in my body so fast. I
- 0:54Speaker 3: have no idea they're coming.
- 0:56Speaker 1: She's so quiet all the time and so like delicate,
- 0:59Speaker 1: And then that sneeze comes up. Did it not scare you?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Scare me? I'm sorry, guys, I know it's fine.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I'll really try. Maybe I just don't notice it. I'll
- 1:06Speaker 3: try to pay attention more and feel it and give
- 1:08Speaker 3: you a heads up.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Just start flailing your arms or something so we know.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Okay, like this, And I'm just gonna say, can we
- 1:13Speaker 3: come up with a code word or something.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I don't do that that's terrifying something, are you?
- 1:19Speaker 3: I'm good. I'm just curious how we feel about just
- 1:21Speaker 3: doing stuff in public in our lives on our own,
- 1:24Speaker 3: because yesterday I went to make Amazon returns and the
- 1:27Speaker 3: line was like so long, and the lady was like,
- 1:30Speaker 3: you know, there's a kiosk right and I was like, oh,
- 1:32Speaker 3: I don't know what that means. When then I figured
- 1:34Speaker 3: it out. They have a whole setup. Have you seen
- 1:36Speaker 3: this where you just do your own Amazon returns where
- 1:38Speaker 3: you scan your code. This is at the UPS store,
- 1:42Speaker 3: so it's like a little box and then you scan
- 1:44Speaker 3: your code. If you have it on your phone, it
- 1:46Speaker 3: prints out the label. You fit it in the bag
- 1:48Speaker 3: yourself to answer all the questions they would answer and
- 1:50Speaker 3: throw it in the bin.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I'm getting a part time job, yeah, yeah, because we
- 1:53Speaker 1: were staying job.
- 1:54Speaker 3: I sacking groceries at some you know, grocery stores on
- 1:58Speaker 3: my own.
- 1:59Speaker 1: They started doing that at racetrack. You know, I go
- 2:01Speaker 1: there every morning for my coffee. Yeah, every morning. And
- 2:04Speaker 1: now I mean there's always at least two people there. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: and now there's four self service checkouts. Really, so I
- 2:11Speaker 1: have to look up where my large coffee is and
- 2:14Speaker 1: they usually try to get me. But sometimes they're busy.
- 2:16Speaker 1: They're doing so much. I don't know what they're doing,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but they're always walking around doing something.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Mopping and stuff.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Mopping.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so much mopping happening.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So much mopping, Yeah, happening. You know what a quick trip.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I will give it a quick trip.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 1: That robot he's violent, that guy. I swear he purposely
- 2:36Speaker 1: comes after me. Have you ever seen him?
- 2:38Speaker 3: No, min doesn't have that.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Oh, they have a robot that mops and it will
- 2:42Speaker 1: hit your toes. It will give you a flat tire
- 2:45Speaker 1: so quick, yes, and then it just stops and looks
- 2:47Speaker 1: at you, and you look at it and you're like, dude,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I'll kick you right, yeah, get out of here. You're
- 2:52Speaker 1: right though. There's a lot of companies starting to do
- 2:54Speaker 1: things where we have to do it ourselves.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I know, I feel so bad when I see the
- 2:57Speaker 3: person checking me out at the grocery store. And then
- 2:59Speaker 3: they've got a all my stuff, you know, on their own.
- 3:02Speaker 3: So I always jump in and help because I feel bad.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but the problem is sometimes that's only option is
- 3:07Speaker 1: there's self checkout. There's like one line so long, and
- 3:10Speaker 1: then a lot of times on the you know, grocery store,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't want to bag everything. And it's not because
- 3:14Speaker 1: I'm lazy. It's because there's not enough room on that
- 3:16Speaker 1: self checkout, yeah, to put everything down for sure. So
- 3:20Speaker 1: I'm like, now I'm leaving stuff in the cart, I'm
- 3:22Speaker 1: trying not to forget something, and the person's watching me.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Look I'm stealing. Yeah, I'm like this a lot.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I just couldn't believe they trusted me to make my
- 3:29Speaker 3: own Amazon return that. You know, the bag was all wonky,
- 3:33Speaker 3: the sticker was wonky. I'm like, I hope they figured
- 3:35Speaker 3: this out. I did my best, Love, that's a good point.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Well you did it. I'm sure you did fine.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Mine would have to beat I don't know, it would
- 3:42Speaker 1: probably be come back in the mail like you did
- 3:43Speaker 1: this wrong. I'm pretty sure. Who is here? What's up? Who?
- 3:46Speaker 4: Speaking of walky, yesterday I went and picked up my
- 3:49Speaker 4: thirteen year old Paul he's back from camp?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Was so fast?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Well, how long was the camp? A day?
- 3:54Speaker 5: No?
- 3:54Speaker 1: He left Friday, he did, Yeah, it's not even a week, Yeah, Friday. Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I got back yesterday afternoon. So I picked him and
- 4:04Speaker 1: his friend up.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I drop his friend off, and then next thing I know,
- 4:07Speaker 4: we're taking off and his friends runs up to the cart.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Hey, can y'all help me? His chocolate lab got out.
- 4:13Speaker 4: So I spent and probably about two and a half
- 4:15Speaker 4: hours looking for his dog, and I find him.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He's chilling and there's a creek where all these DUTs are.
- 4:21Speaker 1: He's just swimming in the creek.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Just just chilling. And I'm like, I'm like, his name
- 4:26Speaker 4: is Charlie. I'm like, Charlie, Charlie. He looked at me
- 4:29Speaker 4: like fool, I'm chilling, New Egg. I'm living my best life.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Went to trying to get a dog to call.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Well.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I will say this though, I was walking around again
- 4:39Speaker 4: for Charlie, come here, Charlie.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Did Charlie ever come because I'm not especially if you're
- 4:47Speaker 1: doing that hand motion, I'm not coming over here, not
- 4:49Speaker 1: coming over to MEA no, I'm.
- 4:54Speaker 4: But I will say I was walking around all that time,
- 4:57Speaker 4: and I wasn't winded.
- 4:59Speaker 1: It's the working out y'all.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Wow, Day two.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, of course I couldn't work out yesterday with you.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I worked out yesterday, but I couldn't work out with you. Yes,
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm not entirely sure you did. I did.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I went live and I didn't save it, but you
- 5:13Speaker 4: went live.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I was dead on.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I was clicking and I was like, am I live?
- 5:17Speaker 4: And then I started seeing people give me the like
- 5:21Speaker 4: the fist up fist bump emoji, and I was.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like, oh man, I'll accidentally go live because I was
- 5:27Speaker 1: messing around. I was. I was trying to, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: walk on the trail. And you didn't save it. No
- 5:31Speaker 1: I didn't. I said, poo, make sure you have proof
- 5:33Speaker 1: that you were.
- 5:34Speaker 4: People said they were going to call in this morning
- 5:36Speaker 4: and they said, hey, the phones ringing, it's barely six o'clock.
- 5:41Speaker 4: But yes, I did walk on the treadmill. I did
- 5:44Speaker 4: it for sixteen minutes, okay, god.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And I went over there to the little bench press thing.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I didn't do any curls or anything like that, but
- 5:51Speaker 4: I did that bench press.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I did like three reps of that, right, three reps
- 5:57Speaker 4: of twenty oh Okay, three reps.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Did sixty reps in three sets.
- 6:02Speaker 1: There we go, Okay, got it, there we go. How
- 6:04Speaker 1: much weight? Huh? How much?
- 6:08Speaker 4: It was like eighty that's okay, Yeah, yeah, that's all
- 6:11Speaker 4: the matter, trying to be a hero.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I went to work out, you soay, guess
- 6:15Speaker 1: what happened to me?
- 6:15Speaker 6: What? So?
- 6:16Speaker 1: I noticed that it might storm, and I'm like, man,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I do not want it to storm on my you
- 6:20Speaker 1: know car. I don't want it to hail in my car.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So I'm gonna just go up to the rec center,
- 6:23Speaker 1: get some cardio in work out. I'm gonna take my
- 6:26Speaker 1: golf cart. Okay, all right, So that way if it
- 6:28Speaker 1: storms whatever. Not only did it start storm and it
- 6:31Speaker 1: started hailing on me sideways in my golf cart and
- 6:37Speaker 1: it was hitting my legs and I was like, you
- 6:41Speaker 1: knew it, Billy getting hailed out.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Let's texts tough stories on the tents with Billy the
- 6:47Speaker 2: Kid in the.
- 6:47Speaker 6: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine, We're.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Trying to wake up. Let's go Disney World. You want
- 6:53Speaker 1: to go first shot? Coming up at six forty a
- 6:55Speaker 1: chance at that vacation, Candice Slopez, what is going on?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, yesterday it was the MAVs. It's the Stars.
- 7:00Speaker 3: They are moving to Plano. Nice ay, Yeah, yeah, the
- 7:05Speaker 3: Dallas Stars have agreed to build a new arena and
- 7:07Speaker 3: entertainment district where the shops at Willow Bend are now.
- 7:10Speaker 3: So we're talking park in the toll Way. So back
- 7:13Speaker 3: in February, the city of Plano submitted a letter to
- 7:15Speaker 3: the Stars showing their intention to build a one billion
- 7:18Speaker 3: dollar arena there. The agreement right now is non binding,
- 7:22Speaker 3: but according to a press release the Stars sent out,
- 7:26Speaker 3: you know, they're saying the site would include sports, entertainment, retail, dining,
- 7:29Speaker 3: public gathering space. Is literally the same conversation we had
- 7:33Speaker 3: yesterday about the maps.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I remember, I told you I said it's going to
- 7:36Speaker 1: be the Willow Bends Stars. Yeah, and the Valley View
- 7:38Speaker 1: mass right, and here we are, let's go not see.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I don't know though, because selfishly I want them to
- 7:45Speaker 1: be there because I literally live right down the street.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Right then, there's a part of me that says, is
- 7:50Speaker 1: this the best thing for Dallas? For worth?
- 7:52Speaker 3: Right?
- 7:53Speaker 1: Is it? I don't know. I'm sure the Stars have
- 7:55Speaker 1: done plenty of research to see where their clients and
- 7:58Speaker 1: their most season ticket holders are and where the business
- 8:01Speaker 1: and where the population is moving. So I know they're
- 8:04Speaker 1: smart when it comes to this, right, But then I
- 8:05Speaker 1: think about the traffic. The tollway is not.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Huge, No, and the nearest Dart rail stop is Parker Road,
- 8:12Speaker 3: which is like eight over eight miles away, which a
- 8:15Speaker 3: lot of people are saying, like public transportation is a
- 8:17Speaker 3: major issue. We still have five years though, I know
- 8:20Speaker 3: there's still time to figure it out.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But public transportation in the city in general sucks. Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I mean I love Dart but it just I mean,
- 8:28Speaker 1: that's why I advocate for it to be more places. Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 1: like make it happen dark.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Like I love riding the rail if I can. It's
- 8:35Speaker 3: just so easy. I don't know, it's something fun about it,
- 8:38Speaker 3: you know, it's different.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I love it. I think we should do it more,
- 8:41Speaker 1: but I don't know. I mean, I'm excited. I know, Cannice,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you're not.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I just I love our sports being a in Dallas,
- 8:49Speaker 3: and also I just love the downtown vibe. But we
- 8:52Speaker 3: just have a lot of work to do in downtown
- 8:54Speaker 3: Dallas to get you know, it to where it should
- 8:56Speaker 3: be in my opinion. But you know, the Plano City
- 8:59Speaker 3: Council still has to this new arena, so they're gonna have,
- 9:01Speaker 3: you know, a meeting on this June eighth.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Why would they not. Yeah, I mean there's gonna be
- 9:05Speaker 1: so much money coming into city because of that. But
- 9:07Speaker 1: then the traffic is gonna be insane, like I think.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I mean, that's how you get to work every day.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's gonna be a public hearing, so
- 9:13Speaker 3: I'll be curious to see what people think because people
- 9:15Speaker 3: have been split on these two teams, you know, moving,
- 9:18Speaker 3: you know, since it started becoming a rumor. But the
- 9:21Speaker 3: new arena would cost over a billion dollars. I think
- 9:24Speaker 3: Plano could pay seventy seven hundred million of that. Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 3: but yeah, it's just sad to see, you know. And
- 9:31Speaker 3: even Marcus announced yesterday they're leaving downtown Dallas.
- 9:35Speaker 1: There's obviously a problem in downtown Dallas. Yes, I mean,
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't know what that problem is. I'm just the DJ.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Right, I don't know the politics that are happening.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I don't know either, But I will say this, it's
- 9:45Speaker 1: not sustainable to have businesses down there around American airlines
- 9:48Speaker 1: because look at all the businesses that go out of
- 9:50Speaker 1: business quick You know, Victory Plaza is amazing. Yeah, but
- 9:54Speaker 1: you can't rely and have a restaurant paying one hundred
- 9:57Speaker 1: rand a month in rent. Yeah, and then to stainded
- 10:00Speaker 1: off of mav season right in American airlines, they just
- 10:03Speaker 1: they don't work. So the business model who wants to
- 10:06Speaker 1: go open a business there when it fails?
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yeah, no, for sure. More to come on this though,
- 10:11Speaker 3: for sure. Guys, here's some good news. If you thought
- 10:15Speaker 3: that was a good or bad. White Castle officially broke
- 10:17Speaker 3: ground on their new location in the colony yesterday.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I mean if White Castles coming north, yeah, everything's coming
- 10:23Speaker 1: north Kandas Yeah, just move it is. When are you
- 10:27Speaker 1: going to realize me?
- 10:28Speaker 3: I've considered it.
- 10:29Speaker 1: North of six thirty five is the way to go.
- 10:32Speaker 3: It's way more expensive too, I don't know, and it's
- 10:34Speaker 3: harder to get homes. Well you're putting in you know, uh,
- 10:38Speaker 3: when you're putting in offers.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Well north of That's why I just like po and
- 10:42Speaker 1: I live under a bridge in Carrollton.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But this isn't the colony, of course. It will be
- 10:47Speaker 3: their first location in Texas, part of Grandscape. But they
- 10:50Speaker 3: were out there yesterday using these like spatula shaped shovels
- 10:53Speaker 3: to break the ground and then they did their ceremonial
- 10:56Speaker 3: sprinkling of the onions, which they do for the future grill.
- 11:00Speaker 3: But I mean white Castle been around for one hundred
- 11:02Speaker 3: and five years. They're expecting, you know, to bring in
- 11:05Speaker 3: at least seventy new jobs to the community and that
- 11:08Speaker 3: one location when it opens.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Would you see what they just announced to what else
- 11:11Speaker 1: is coming to Plano yesterday?
- 11:13Speaker 3: Samsung?
- 11:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Samsung moving their headquarters to plan out from New Jersey.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I mean it's insane right now. Yeah, traffic is going
- 11:20Speaker 1: to be so you think it's bad now just wait,
- 11:24Speaker 1: It's getting worse.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It is for sure. But that White Castle will open
- 11:27Speaker 3: in late fall of this year. Do we have time
- 11:29Speaker 3: for a list or no? Because I got a candice.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I have to I will always make.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Time, okay, Because a new survey found that fifty four
- 11:37Speaker 3: percent of pet owners wish they could talk to their
- 11:40Speaker 3: pets to find out what they think and feel. So
- 11:42Speaker 3: I have the top ten questions people have for their pets.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I will give you all ten, but I'll give you
- 11:46Speaker 3: some of the top ones.
- 11:47Speaker 1: What's the percentage get a pew fifty four? Why would
- 11:49Speaker 1: it not be one.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Hundred, right, who doesn't want to know their pets thing?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Talk to their dog?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Well, okay, any of you go ahead.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah. So number five on the list was what's actually
- 11:59Speaker 3: happened in that head?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Yeah? I feel like I do talk to my dog?
- 12:03Speaker 3: You do?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah? But okay, I would ask him that.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Number four was what's your favorite thing we do together?
- 12:08Speaker 1: I know I already know you do? What is this swimming?
- 12:11Speaker 3: Okay?
- 12:11Speaker 1: How do you not know that? You know what your doglets?
- 12:13Speaker 1: You don't even have to use words? Yeah?
- 12:15Speaker 3: No, for sure. Number three was do you understand every word?
- 12:18Speaker 3: I say, it's a weird question, very weird. Question two
- 12:22Speaker 3: was do you like your life? And number one was
- 12:25Speaker 3: are you happy?
- 12:26Speaker 1: I would ask one is rightfully? Number one?
- 12:28Speaker 3: Okay, I'd be like, what are you happy?
- 12:30Speaker 1: What you need?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:31Speaker 6: Well?
- 12:31Speaker 3: Number ten was the most interesting. Which family members do
- 12:34Speaker 3: you like and dislike?
- 12:35Speaker 6: So?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I know the answer would be.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Me get the tea from your pets, that's more important.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I mean, I'm the one who feeds them better like me?
- 12:42Speaker 3: Yeah for sure?
- 12:43Speaker 1: I mean why would you not want to talk to
- 12:45Speaker 1: your doctors? Don't? Fifty four percent?
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's wild, weird.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I just wish I could talk to Pooh sometimes, you
- 12:51Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 12:51Speaker 3: Like sometimes are you happy?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Who on the show is your favorite?
- 12:57Speaker 6: All?
- 12:58Speaker 1: Whoever feeds them?
- 13:01Speaker 3: Those are your Texas top stories.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The first caller of the day right now, Benton Boone.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Tickets up for grabs. What's your name, Connie? What's up? Connie?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Guess what you're calling?
- 13:09Speaker 3: Number one?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Am I really?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Yes? You for Connie? Congrats?
- 13:15Speaker 5: Oh, thank you so much.
- 13:16Speaker 1: That's awesome. Yeah, you got tickets to go see Benton Boone,
- 13:18Speaker 1: who puts on such a good show. He flips like
- 13:20Speaker 1: seven hundred and fifty eight times just during one show.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I don't know how he sings so excited? Good?
- 13:26Speaker 5: Well, good?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Where are you from, Connie?
- 13:28Speaker 5: I'm from Austin.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Oh you are? Do you live up here in Dallas now?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Or where you still out there listening to the iHeart
- 13:34Speaker 1: Radio or what?
- 13:35Speaker 5: No, I'm up here in Dallas now.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Oh good?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much for having us on. We
- 13:39Speaker 1: appreciate that, Connie, and have a great day. It's gonna

- 14:06Speaker 1: Vermont, Vermont. I'm not getting into it, CAUs Okay, okay,

- 14:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Okay, either way, it's just the accents. Maybe it's
- 14:23Speaker 3: just sometimes your Detroit comes out.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Now I've been here Vermont one hundred years.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but you still say certain things like you would

- 14:29Speaker 1: Well you have a Mosquite accent.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Vermont? All right, North Carolina?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Real fake news right now? All right, I'm gonna give
- 14:38Speaker 1: you three headlines to gonna tell me which one is fake? Okay,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Candice usually wins it. See if she does. Today. Headline
- 14:43Speaker 1: number one, little girl questioned by police after setting up
- 14:47Speaker 1: a petting zoo outside of her house and charging people.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Oh alone, Little girl questioned by police after setting up
- 14:56Speaker 1: a petting zoo outside of her house and charging people.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Headline number two influencer Ugh influencer detained for posing as
- 15:06Speaker 1: real estate agent to film tours of multi million dollar houses.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Oh my Gosh influencer detained for posing as a real
- 15:15Speaker 1: estate agent to film tours of multi million dollar houses.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Headline number three. Man arrested after breaking into a building
- 15:24Speaker 1: and having an eleven year old help him and the
- 15:29Speaker 1: man arrested after breaking into a building and having an
- 15:33Speaker 1: eleven year old help him. Three headlines right there, You
- 15:36Speaker 1: got to tell me which one you think is fake?
- 15:39Speaker 1: All right? You know the rules, Candice. You can go first,
- 15:41Speaker 1: or you could pass it to Pooh.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I'm gonna go first today. You want
- 15:45Speaker 3: to lock me in, well we'll see lock me for
- 15:47Speaker 3: that last story? You think that's fake using the eleven
- 15:50Speaker 3: year old to help him break in?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Okay, you think that's a fake story?
- 15:52Speaker 3: I hope.
- 15:53Speaker 6: So.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You don't think anybody would do that, No, after Pooh
- 15:56Speaker 1: just said he would, let's lock that in. Locked in,
- 16:00Speaker 1: Candice Lopez is locked in? Now, Pooh, which one do
- 16:03Speaker 1: you think is the fake story? I'm gonna go with
- 16:04Speaker 1: that first.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Story little girl getting hemmed up for having a ghetto
- 16:08Speaker 4: petting zoo.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Okay, let's lock that in it in first story you
- 16:12Speaker 1: think is fake? The correct answer and the winner today me.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I mean, this is two in a row.
- 16:24Speaker 6: For me.
- 16:25Speaker 1: It is. Let me enjoy my wine. You both missed
- 16:30Speaker 1: the fake story. The fake story was influencer detained by
- 16:32Speaker 1: police as real estate agent. Hey, you know to film
- 16:35Speaker 1: tours of multimillion dollar houses. I could see it happening too,
- 16:38Speaker 1: That's why I made it up. Yeah, I'm like, you
- 16:40Speaker 1: know that's gonna happen if it hasn't happened somewhere. But
- 16:42Speaker 1: it's not in the news either way. What is in
- 16:44Speaker 1: the news. This first story is little girl questioned by
- 16:47Speaker 1: police after setting up a petting zoo outside of her
- 16:49Speaker 1: house and charging people. It is hysterical and I have
- 16:54Speaker 1: to post this. Give me a minute and I'll post
- 16:55Speaker 1: it at Billy on the Radio on my Instagram at
- 16:58Speaker 1: Billy on the Radio. The picture of this girl who's
- 17:01Speaker 1: set up it looks like, you know, like a lemonade
- 17:04Speaker 1: stand right, and it's her and a table with a
- 17:08Speaker 1: little you know, like drawer for money and you know
- 17:11Speaker 1: what her petting do consist of what her golden retriever
- 17:17Speaker 1: in a cage like in a little like a playpen,
- 17:22Speaker 1: not a cage and a little playpen, and the golden
- 17:24Speaker 1: retriever is just sitting there like what am I doing?
- 17:27Speaker 1: And she's charging people. That's adorable, a pet little golden retriever.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Somebody called the police on. I don't know. Is it cute?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Yeah? I think that's adorable.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Okay, Well then you do it today with brewster.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I'm a lot of money, I know. I mean, are
- 17:46Speaker 3: so soft? Yeah? Everyone always says that your dogs so soft?
- 17:51Speaker 1: People say that, yes, all the time.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Every puddy who pets.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Cans just flex on her dog softer than yours. My
- 18:01Speaker 1: dug's softed than your dog.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Compet him?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Okay, well charge you know what I would pay that?
- 18:06Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:07Speaker 1: The next headline, man arrested after breaking into a building
- 18:11Speaker 1: and having an eleven year old help him. Why this
- 18:14Speaker 1: is a real story and it's not Pooh, But a
- 18:16Speaker 1: forty one year old man in Pennsylvania was arrested after
- 18:18Speaker 1: breaking into an office building, and he brought his girlfriend's
- 18:23Speaker 1: eleven year old daughter with him so she could hold
- 18:26Speaker 1: the flashlight. Wow, what are we doing in our life.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Daddy got to see some friends, not even daddy, stepdaddy,
- 18:40Speaker 1: step daddy. You want to go get some ice cream,
- 18:42Speaker 1: But first we're gonna do a little b and e.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Yeah so he was arrested, but yeah, he brought his
- 18:48Speaker 1: his girlfriend's eleven year old daughter. And when the cops
- 18:52Speaker 1: showed up, this guy James was in an equipment room
- 18:55Speaker 1: where he instructed the little girl to just hold the
- 18:58Speaker 1: flashlight while I grab stuff off. Wow. Yeah, and he
- 19:01Speaker 1: was also not only stealing stuff, he was also stealing
- 19:04Speaker 1: copper wiring. Oh yeah, which is a whole thing. People
- 19:07Speaker 1: steal copper. Boy, I'm telling you, my uncle Fred is
- 19:13Speaker 1: a crackhead. I know he'd steal. You're saying this out loud?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Oh sorry, Uncle Fred is Yeah, uncle Fred? You met
- 19:19Speaker 1: Uncle Fred did? Yeah, uncle Fred. I thought he was
- 19:22Speaker 1: just exciting.
- 19:23Speaker 4: No, it's an ongoing joke. Don't ever leave changing your
- 19:26Speaker 4: cup holder, uncle Fred to get it.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, I think we all have one relative. Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 1: we do steals, maybe not a crackhead, yeah, but they
- 19:35Speaker 1: steal something. Yeah, but should we have Uncle Fred on
- 19:39Speaker 1: the show. Oh no, you don't want him up here?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Why not? He'll be trying to take Michael phones and everything.
- 19:46Speaker 1: She's so perfect all I love you. It's mixed. One
- 19:49Speaker 1: of two. Good Morning Billy Kid Canna Slump has producer proof.
- 19:55Speaker 1: First of all, Cannis and I are the massive fight
- 19:57Speaker 1: over Ella Langley. It's fine because Candace did maybe one
- 20:00Speaker 1: of the rudest things she's ever done is since I've
- 20:03Speaker 1: known her in the twenty something years, tell them what
- 20:06Speaker 1: you did well.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I found out that on your for you page on
- 20:08Speaker 3: Instagram you could tell it like what things you're interested
- 20:11Speaker 3: in to show you more and what things to stop showing.
- 20:13Speaker 3: And I looked at my page and it was like,
- 20:15Speaker 3: you know, there's like boxes and squares. Over fifty percent
- 20:18Speaker 3: of those were Ella Langley. So I had to put
- 20:20Speaker 3: in like less Ella Langley Wow, because I'm not I'm
- 20:23Speaker 3: not searching this wow. I love her album, I love
- 20:26Speaker 3: her song.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Why is your algorithm that though?
- 20:29Speaker 3: Bye? Because yours is spilling over into mind.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I think it's disrespectful to our relationship and I.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Love to la for a long time her out when
- 20:38Speaker 3: I want her information.
- 20:39Speaker 1: But I liked her BB what before bangs?
- 20:42Speaker 3: Oh you did?
- 20:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah? Are you sure anyway? I'm one hundred percent sure? Okay, Yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 1: what do you mean by that?
- 20:48Speaker 3: I don't know. I just never heard you talk about
- 20:50Speaker 3: her before before, like this year.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I never said a word to us. That's just
- 20:55Speaker 1: because it was different back then, and you didn't know.
- 20:57Speaker 3: She wasn't on your for you page, she wasn't.
- 20:59Speaker 1: On your radar, so I didn't want to throw my
- 21:00Speaker 1: relationship in your faces. Oh okay, all right. Can we
- 21:03Speaker 1: talk about the weirdest things left in ubers last year?
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:06Speaker 1: This is so funny. Uber driver's report obviously, the things
- 21:09Speaker 1: that they lost or that they find or whatever in
- 21:12Speaker 1: their cars. Because have you ever lost something in an Uber?
- 21:14Speaker 1: I've lost my phone in an Uber?
- 21:15Speaker 3: Yeah, we left an iPad and a nuber once.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Okay, that's reasonable though, you know yet you never know
- 21:22Speaker 1: how they just.
- 21:23Speaker 3: No no trace of it. Nobody heard of it, nothing
- 21:27Speaker 3: heard nothing. Yeah, yeah, they just deleted it from there.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Sure, Yeah, exactly, that's what happened. Well, No, Like, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: had lost my phone in one one time, and I
- 21:36Speaker 1: right away the guy was already turning around coming back
- 21:39Speaker 1: and giving it to me, and I was like, oh,
- 21:41Speaker 1: because I didn't have a way to get ahold of them.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yeah, true, So it was all messed up.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Exactly so. But this list is so wild some of
- 21:49Speaker 1: the things that were found in these ubers. I'm just like,
- 21:52Speaker 1: how uh. First on the list was a child's prosthetic eye. Oh,
- 21:57Speaker 1: someone's glass eye. That's unfortunate it Yeah, but I could
- 22:01Speaker 1: see losing it. Okay, you know if I had a
- 22:04Speaker 1: glass i'd probably lose everything. You just pop them in
- 22:08Speaker 1: and out.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, but at the end of the day, you
- 22:10Speaker 3: take it out like a contact.
- 22:12Speaker 1: You can if you want. You never had a kid
- 22:13Speaker 1: in your class with a prosthetic eye. Oh, they pop
- 22:16Speaker 1: them out all the time. Yeah, I had a kid,
- 22:18Speaker 1: Damn Marucci. He'd pop his eye out at least twice
- 22:22Speaker 1: a class. Wow, and just show you what's going on.
- 22:26Speaker 1: We loved it. It was awesome. Child's prosthetic eye. I
- 22:30Speaker 1: don't know why. How do you know it's a child's
- 22:31Speaker 1: prosthetic eye. Maybe it was small, like your eyes small though?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah? How big do eyes get?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Like? Do they?
- 22:39Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like when you grow? Like,
- 22:40Speaker 3: do you say your nose keeps growing or your ears?
- 22:42Speaker 3: What's the one thing?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Maybe he's growing your eyes? Do not keep growing? Your
- 22:49Speaker 1: ears keep growing and your nose keeps right, Yeah, but
- 22:51Speaker 1: not your eyes.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 22:54Speaker 1: You imagine what we look like aliens.
- 22:56Speaker 3: But some people have bigger eyes.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I guess. Okay, thank you?
- 23:03Speaker 6: All right.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Other things that are weird that've been left in ubers?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Are you ready for this one? Twenty pounds of duck sausage.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Someone reported twenty pounds of duck sausage in an uber. Wow,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I have questions, but about this one? Handcuffs, Okay, I
- 23:21Speaker 1: can see that. Yeah, yeah, I guess I don't know
- 23:24Speaker 1: why you're Maybe he was an off duty police officer
- 23:27Speaker 1: under cover. Yeah, a two pound bag of blue raspberry gushers.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Who those are so good? That was true? That was
- 23:36Speaker 1: not too actually because he'd never leave gushers never, or
- 23:39Speaker 1: sour patch kids behind. How does this happen? Things weird?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Things left in an uber? A dishwasher?
- 23:46Speaker 3: What?
- 23:47Speaker 1: How? Maybe it was a small one? Is that even possible? Yeah?
- 23:52Speaker 5: Weird?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Now this one's interesting. Weird things left in an uber? Grass? Oh, patches?
- 24:00Speaker 1: What kind of grass? No?
- 24:02Speaker 3: A patch of grass.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Patch of grass? And then somebody on this thread that
- 24:06Speaker 1: I was reading said, no, this is kind of normal.
- 24:08Speaker 1: There's certain people who carry You're gonna laugh. Cannis, who
- 24:13Speaker 1: carry around a patch of grass because it's like an
- 24:17Speaker 1: emotional support thing for them.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Eric, what.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Have you ever seen somebody carrying around, like carrying around.
- 24:27Speaker 3: A patch of grass in public?
- 24:30Speaker 1: The people love touching grass. You ever meet people that
- 24:32Speaker 1: love touching grass besides your husband? They just carry a
- 24:37Speaker 1: little piece of like a patch of grass, I swear.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Multiple people in this thread said people do this. Yeah, well,
- 24:43Speaker 1: I know guys who have rocks in their pockets. They
- 24:45Speaker 1: love carrying rocks. Yeah, what are you for, Well, it's what.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Somebody left their live fish in the Uber driver reported
- 24:55Speaker 1: finding a live goldfish in the back of his car.
- 24:58Speaker 1: How does that happen? I don't know. Now I can
- 25:00Speaker 1: totally see this one happening. One single red bottom Louis
- 25:04Speaker 1: Baton shoe, lebiton biton shoe. Yeah, because you're drunks in
- 25:12Speaker 1: the Uber Highland Park girls do all the time. They
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. They just leave them in there.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I don't need I have fifteen more par at home now,
- 25:21Speaker 1: this is not good. Somebody left their oxygen tank. Oh no,
- 25:26Speaker 1: who's oxygen? Sometimes you forget things. I don't know. Tell me.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Somebody ubering the Windstar to play the penny slots, that's where.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Why do I always see oxygen tanks on the penny slots?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Why is that? I tell you it's something about like
- 25:42Speaker 1: penny slots in the oxygen tank that go together perfectly,
- 25:45Speaker 1: and Virginia slims. Sometimes you'll see all of it together,
- 25:51Speaker 1: all right? What about this one? Last one? Somebody found
- 25:54Speaker 1: an ankle monitor?
- 26:00Speaker 3: Ain't that easy to take off?
- 26:02Speaker 6: No?
- 26:03Speaker 1: No, they're hard. How do you know, Prouve?
- 26:05Speaker 2: I have friends, the tough stories on the tents with
- 26:11Speaker 2: Billy the Kid in the.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Morning only on the new Mix one O two point.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Nine, the Journey Little Secret coming off plus a trip
- 26:17Speaker 1: to Disney vacation. You're shot at that on the way,
- 26:21Speaker 1: Candice Lopez, what's going on? Well?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Jury selection continues today in the Carmelo anthony trial. There
- 26:26Speaker 3: were about six hundred potential jurors. On Monday, about fifty
- 26:30Speaker 3: were excused, and then yesterday the judge and lawyers reviewed
- 26:33Speaker 3: the rest of the questionnaires, saying they hope to cut
- 26:36Speaker 3: that pull down to two hundred and fifty for another
- 26:40Speaker 3: round of questioning today. The judge did tell potential jurors
- 26:44Speaker 3: it was okay if they heard about this case, but
- 26:46Speaker 3: that they have to set that aside. He also told
- 26:49Speaker 3: them not to rely on stuff they may have heard
- 26:51Speaker 3: in the past in the media about what allegedly happened,
- 26:54Speaker 3: but they hope to have a jury picked today now.
- 26:57Speaker 3: These potential jurors were also told they aren't or if
- 27:00Speaker 3: that final group will be sequestered, but that trial is
- 27:03Speaker 3: expected to go from nine am to six pm every
- 27:06Speaker 3: weekday and on Saturdays for about two weeks, hoping to
- 27:10Speaker 3: wrap this trial up by June twelfth or later.
- 27:13Speaker 1: June twelve.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty quick.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's already the third We knew it was gonna
- 27:17Speaker 1: be very hard. Jerry Swisson was going to be difficult
- 27:20Speaker 1: because it's such a high profile case and right it
- 27:22Speaker 1: it'd be tough to be sequestered as a germ be
- 27:24Speaker 1: away from everybody and everything.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, but I feel like that's probably gonna have
- 27:29Speaker 3: to happen. You know this. The hype around this trial
- 27:32Speaker 3: is just escalating by the day. But I'll keep you
- 27:35Speaker 3: posted if I hear anything. Guys, warm and humid today
- 27:38Speaker 3: before more storm chances tonight, we're gonna get up close
- 27:41Speaker 3: to ninety but it's cooler this morning than it has
- 27:43Speaker 3: been so far. This week, at this time, at seventy.
- 27:46Speaker 1: One right now, I got hailed on yesterday. I know,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I didn't know that was gonna happen. I thought the
- 27:50Speaker 1: storms might roll in, but it was gonna be that bad.
- 27:52Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean some people got sough, some people didn't.
- 27:55Speaker 1: But these storms pop upon a nowhere. It could happen
- 27:57Speaker 1: later either way, much cooler. It feels good.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh, let's get some more lighter news. Guys.
- 28:02Speaker 3: The pop Tarts and Crumble collab is making a comeback.
- 28:05Speaker 3: The frosted Strawberry cookie featuring pop Tarts is back. This
- 28:09Speaker 3: is just a limited time. I guess they're doing some
- 28:11Speaker 3: kind of like Breakfast week lineup. But this is like
- 28:13Speaker 3: the temptation we all did not need at this point.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I mean, a collap of Crumble and pop Tarts. Yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I mean, look, poo, just get poo diabetes.
- 28:23Speaker 3: That is what was in the lobby when you saw
- 28:25Speaker 3: it Monday.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Crumbled pop Tart clap.
- 28:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 1: How do you know?
- 28:29Speaker 3: Because this it just came out. Yeah, I know, little
- 28:32Speaker 3: Birdie told me really.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Yeah, right when I start my fitt in his journey,
- 28:37Speaker 4: I know something like this it Crumble and pop Tart.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Wow, your two favorite things in life. Yeah, that's fine.
- 28:43Speaker 3: I can I don't even want to get good thought.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Who is a Weirdoe is one of the few people
- 28:48Speaker 1: in life that eat pop tarts without icing?
- 28:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I think that's good. I like them without icing.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it has a strange thing to do.
- 28:57Speaker 3: No, I like it.
- 28:58Speaker 1: If you're going for it just I mean, if you're
- 29:00Speaker 1: going to be a big back, be a big bag,
- 29:03Speaker 1: don't be half back.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean half back?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Is the movie a medium Back?
- 29:07Speaker 3: So trendy to be a half back?
- 29:08Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Back it up with that ice.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Guys. Pink is hosting the Tony Awards this Sunday at
- 29:16Speaker 3: Radio City Music Hall. She says her daughter Willow approved
- 29:19Speaker 3: her decision to take on this hosting gig. She says
- 29:22Speaker 3: when she was asked to host, it wasn't an immediate yes,
- 29:25Speaker 3: it was an almost immediate yes that she actually wanted
- 29:28Speaker 3: to get permission from her daughter first, because this is
- 29:31Speaker 3: Willow's lane, She said, I try to stay out of
- 29:34Speaker 3: her lane.
- 29:34Speaker 6: You know.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Will o'heart is fifteen. She has dreams of being on Broadway,
- 29:39Speaker 3: so this is going to be really cute for them. Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Pink says she's been working on plenty of acrobatics for
- 29:45Speaker 3: the show. This opening number is going to have one
- 29:47Speaker 3: hundred and seventy people on stage. She says, it's a goofy,
- 29:51Speaker 3: kind of over the top number that will all make
- 29:53Speaker 3: sense on Sunday. So I watched the clips of the
- 29:57Speaker 3: Tony Awards. I don't see a lot of like musicals
- 29:59Speaker 3: no in my life, but I'll definitely tune into watch
- 30:02Speaker 3: Pink and this big opening number.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Well, I think it's cool that she respects her daughter
- 30:06Speaker 1: and was like, hey, it's cool if I do that.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's very sweet.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they just moved to New York. I
- 30:10Speaker 3: think she bought a new place there. You know those
- 30:13Speaker 3: rumors about her hosting the Kelly Clarkson Show, and then
- 30:15Speaker 3: you know Willow's dreams of being on Broadway. So I
- 30:18Speaker 3: like this lane for both of them.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Too good for them.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Get off your chest. I promise you'll feel better.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret makes one of two
- 30:28Speaker 1: point nine billing a kid Canda slow Fez producer Pooh
- 30:31Speaker 1: Chance this Disney World Vacation on us and coming up next,
- 30:34Speaker 1: we do it on the forties pretty much every hour
- 30:36Speaker 1: all day. Hook that up. Thank you for listening. Can
- 30:39Speaker 1: I just say that real quick? Because I get so
- 30:40Speaker 1: many awesome dms and it fuels me. And this girl
- 30:43Speaker 1: wrote me. She goes, I don't know how you are
- 30:45Speaker 1: so high early in the morning. I'm like, yeah, I
- 30:47Speaker 1: don't know either, but I will say I do know how,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and it's because you listen. Yeah. So I get excited
- 30:53Speaker 1: because we get to come in and be idiots on
- 30:55Speaker 1: the radio and have a good time because of you.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So thank you for that. That's how I get up.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I'm not motivated by Pooh in his short shorts this morning.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I'm not motivated by Cannieloan pezant or beans that she
- 31:08Speaker 1: brings in every day to eat.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I don't have beans today, Thank god, studio will smell good.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Then, all right, dirty little secret eight three seven eight
- 31:16Speaker 1: seven one two nine, whatever your secret is, is just
- 31:19Speaker 1: time to confess and get it off your chest and
- 31:22Speaker 1: you tell us this is what we do. We're here
- 31:24Speaker 1: for you. What's going on? All right?
- 31:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a confession to make, and if my
- 31:29Speaker 5: family hears this, I'm definitely denying everything. But two months
- 31:34Speaker 5: ago I broke my arm, right and everybody thinks I
- 31:37Speaker 5: did it like mountain biking, and you know, I told
- 31:41Speaker 5: him I was out riding this intense trail, I hit gravel,
- 31:44Speaker 5: flew over the handle handlebars, like whole dramatic story. Dang,
- 31:49Speaker 5: and my mom thinks I'm like extreme sports guy. Now
- 31:53Speaker 5: my girlfriend is like telling everybody, you know, I'm an
- 31:55Speaker 5: adventurous anyway, it's like, so.
- 31:57Speaker 1: You did not You didn't break your arm out and biking.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Oh god, no, No, So I broke it riding a
- 32:08Speaker 5: mechanical bull trying to impress a bachelorette party.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, how is that? How does that happen? I mean,
- 32:21Speaker 1: mechanical bulls not that dangerous, no, but those.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Me and my buddy, like, I'm gonna blame this on him,
- 32:29Speaker 5: but we went out.
- 32:30Speaker 1: You know.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Friday night is like a while back, and a group
- 32:33Speaker 5: of girls was having their bachelor party and they were
- 32:35Speaker 5: loud and hyping each other up, and one of them
- 32:38Speaker 5: joking that, like, no guy can actually stay on that
- 32:40Speaker 5: this mechanical bullets there like for longer than ten seconds.
- 32:43Speaker 5: So apparently my ego heard that and was like, oh yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 5: so like I hop on it, and I'm like, you know,
- 32:51Speaker 5: thinking I'm a cowboy from Yellowstone. I'm yelling, girl, I'm
- 32:57Speaker 5: talking trash. I'm doing a little one hand thing, you know, anyway.
- 33:03Speaker 1: The one hand.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I actually had it going pretty good, like I'm
- 33:11Speaker 5: sure everybody's cheering me on. And then like the operator
- 33:16Speaker 5: cranked that thing to like some crazy mode like and
- 33:20Speaker 5: I swear this dude is like taking it personally, and
- 33:23Speaker 5: the bull just starts spinning like it's trying to launch me.
- 33:26Speaker 5: And I don't know, my hand got like stuck weird
- 33:29Speaker 5: on the rope when I got thrown off. Anyway, I
- 33:31Speaker 5: hit the ground and immediately just like heard like this
- 33:34Speaker 5: nasty pop in.
- 33:35Speaker 1: My I hate that.
- 33:41Speaker 5: It was bad. It was I knew it was bad,
- 33:43Speaker 5: you know. I said to myself, this is bad. But
- 33:46Speaker 5: all the girls are watching, so I just jump up.
- 33:48Speaker 5: I was like, I'm fine. I was like even did
- 33:50Speaker 5: the fake laugh like I meant to do that, playing
- 33:53Speaker 5: it off. Meanwhile, my arm is like starting to throb.
- 33:56Speaker 5: So like fast forward an hour, I'm in the er.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Dang. Okay, So nobody knows the truth except well the
- 34:06Speaker 1: friend that's there obviously saw what happened.
- 34:08Speaker 5: I guess right, my buddy's the only one to know
- 34:10Speaker 5: everyone thinks like I've heard cycling through like rugged terrain,
- 34:14Speaker 5: like some outdoorsement and actually it was tequila and this bowl.
- 34:20Speaker 1: You don't want to say where this happened.
- 34:22Speaker 5: Or no, no, And before you guys brush me char
- 34:25Speaker 5: just like I might actually sue this place because I'm
- 34:27Speaker 5: telling you that operator was seriously agro.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Goes soon are you gonna assume them when that's the
- 34:35Speaker 1: whole point.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen something though before, and I'm like, y'all
- 34:38Speaker 3: got to turn this thing down. This guy is not well, you.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Realize what a mechanical bully is. Ok, it's the whole
- 34:44Speaker 1: point is it to throw you off mechanical I've.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Seen people hang off the side of those things for
- 34:51Speaker 3: dear life, like give up at some point.
- 34:54Speaker 1: Well that okay, that's fair, but you're trying to hang
- 34:56Speaker 1: on for too long. Things like this happened, I guess.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I mean it's kind of you know what. I don't
- 35:00Speaker 1: know if I've ever ridden a mechanical bull. Oh, one
- 35:03Speaker 1: time I did tipsy at Cowboys red River and I
- 35:08Speaker 1: stayed on for a good three seconds, right maybe then ye?
- 35:12Speaker 1: And then I was.
- 35:14Speaker 3: All, I don't like to watch people on those You
- 35:17Speaker 3: just feel bad. Yeah, watching people struggle like that.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of weird unless you're public. Like, it's
- 35:22Speaker 1: kind of hot when a girl does.
- 35:23Speaker 3: It, Okay, they don't ever turn it up full.
- 35:25Speaker 1: But no, it's like, oh look at me, I'm in fun,
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm sexy, I'm riding the bull. I got a cowboy
- 35:29Speaker 1: hat on. Yeah exactly. But when a guy does it,
- 35:32Speaker 1: it's like you're not going to win. You're not winning.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Those operators are dudes anyway, so they just try to Yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 1: they're going to launch us off. So I feel your pain, sir, Well,
- 35:41Speaker 1: you know what, your secret is safe with us. Hopefully
- 35:43Speaker 1: your arm gets better and let's not do that again.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Oh I will not be okay? Bang god? Yeah, how
- 35:52Speaker 1: long did you stay on? Anyway?
- 35:55Speaker 5: I mean three point seven seconds?
- 36:01Speaker 1: Three point seven seconds is a new egg? What?
- 36:05Speaker 3: No, seriously, guys on mechanical bulls when they're hanging off
- 36:11Speaker 3: the side with one leg knocked around, one hand on
- 36:13Speaker 3: the saddle.
- 36:14Speaker 1: No, I would agree with you, because you egg. It's
- 36:18Speaker 1: such a guy thing to be, like, Oh, I could
- 36:19Speaker 1: study all that bull unless you're what a professional rodeo guy.
- 36:24Speaker 1: The only way you look cool is if you ride it.
- 36:26Speaker 1: And then you hop off on your own accord, which
- 36:29Speaker 1: is not gonna happen. You're gonna fly. I've never seen
- 36:32Speaker 1: that ever happen. Right, Wow, that's a new inch.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, your hack goes flying off, right.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But yeah, what's one of those things. No matter what
- 36:39Speaker 1: a guy does is an ick. If you have one,
- 36:41Speaker 1: please let me know. Okay, ad mechanical bull. Add mechanical bull.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Don't do it to the list because.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Even if you win, you lose.
- 36:54Speaker 3: All right, he's court.
- 36:58Speaker 2: It gets settled. Here's Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Rise for the Honorable Judge Candice Lopez. This court is
- 37:07Speaker 1: very serious. Right now, we got to go some of
- 37:09Speaker 1: these IgGs real quick. It's Mikes one or two point nine.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Some funny ones are coming in. First of all, didn't
- 37:13Speaker 1: know that Canda slow Pez has a new egg until today. Guys,
- 37:16Speaker 1: I'm mechanical bulls.
- 37:17Speaker 3: I've always thought that. I just hadn't really thought to
- 37:21Speaker 3: tell you.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, no, sometimes these IgGs pop up and
- 37:24Speaker 1: you just don't know they're coming, right, and it is
- 37:27Speaker 1: kind of an ick. I mean, I guess it's just
- 37:28Speaker 1: not your thing. I think it's the fact that you
- 37:30Speaker 1: know they're not gonna win.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Exactly, and they think they will, yeah, and.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That that in itself is an eck.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Oh, and that you're not gonna win, and then it
- 37:36Speaker 3: won't be an egg.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So if you're silly about it and you're like, watch
- 37:39Speaker 1: me get hurt, yes, then it's funny exactly. Okay, cool,
- 37:42Speaker 1: there you go, guys, you learned something new. Now we
- 37:44Speaker 1: got some other eggs people are sending in what is it, Candice.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Before we start? This one? Is sad carnival games. Guys
- 37:49Speaker 3: playing carnival games, like you know those tests of strength,
- 37:53Speaker 3: yeah type thing.
- 37:55Speaker 1: And I did that at the Renaissance Festival.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Did take the hammer and try to ring the bell
- 38:00Speaker 3: at the top.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Guys are so stupid, We're so dumb. They're so competitive.
- 38:03Speaker 1: We see that in like ooh me strong, Yeah, I
- 38:06Speaker 1: show a woman. Yes, we're like cave man. Okay, that's
- 38:09Speaker 1: a good one. What else. Yeah.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Angie also said watching my man try to open a can.
- 38:19Speaker 1: That's hilarious because why you expect us to be able
- 38:21Speaker 1: to do it right away.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Right, And sometimes it's not just like right and.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's open, like if you hand it to me and
- 38:27Speaker 1: I can't get it open right.
- 38:28Speaker 3: If the pickles are stuck for you too.
- 38:30Speaker 1: It's obviously because my hands are slippery.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Oh man, I gotta get a dollar, so this is
- 38:35Speaker 1: too slip, right, Okay, Candace Court starts. Now, if you've
- 38:39Speaker 1: got a problem, that's funny at Candace on Air. Candis
- 38:42Speaker 1: today's case. Are you're ready for it? Yep, Dear Candas Courts,
- 38:45Speaker 1: I just told my boyfriend I can't date him right now.
- 38:49Speaker 1: We've only been official for about a month and I'm
- 38:52Speaker 1: just now finding out about a tattoo he has. So
- 38:55Speaker 1: it's kind of close to some of his other tattoos,
- 38:58Speaker 1: so I never really noticed it before. But it is
- 39:01Speaker 1: the Roman numerals of his and his ex'es anniversary. Oh
- 39:07Speaker 1: what the heck? Question mark? Question mark? Question mark? Now
- 39:12Speaker 1: now it's all I see. To be honest, I couldn't
- 39:15Speaker 1: believe he never told me about this before, and this
- 39:18Speaker 1: has caused a big issue in our relationship, and so
- 39:21Speaker 1: I told him I'm sorry, but I just can't date
- 39:23Speaker 1: him until it gets removed. Oh all right, stands yeah,
- 39:29Speaker 1: Cannas Courts, there you go. So he has a Roman
- 39:32Speaker 1: numerals of his anniversary, the date of his anniversary with
- 39:36Speaker 1: Zex Big gig okay.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Big gig and eggs, yeah, or hies to your ex
- 39:40Speaker 3: that are permanent.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but at the same time, it's not her name.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Okay, all right, yeah, that's true.
- 39:47Speaker 1: A Roman numeral. When's a good time to bring that up?
- 39:49Speaker 1: You're only dating a month? Oh, I just want to
- 39:51Speaker 1: let you know I have anniversary. You're not going to
- 39:53Speaker 1: bring that up.
- 39:54Speaker 3: But like you, for example, you have a sleeve, you
- 39:56Speaker 3: have a lot of tats. Like when you're dating someone,
- 39:58Speaker 3: don't they ask, well, what are your tattoos? What's that?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Why do you have that? Sometimes they do when did
- 40:04Speaker 1: you get that? But I got a lot of tattoos,
- 40:06Speaker 1: So they're not gonna go over every single one, and
- 40:08Speaker 1: a month in they might go, what about that one?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Be honest? Oh I wouldn't be. I'd lie about this,
- 40:14Speaker 1: but that's just me, the just my dead grandma's Oh
- 40:18Speaker 1: my god, I mean, I'm just not telling the truth
- 40:20Speaker 1: on that one. I'm for real.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I probably would, but I would me for sure.
- 40:25Speaker 1: But it's a deal breaker.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Well, once I see it, though, I can't unsee it,
- 40:30Speaker 3: and now it's all.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I'm looking at, So you expecting to get it removed?
- 40:33Speaker 3: Well, I mean at some point you could definitely do
- 40:37Speaker 3: something over it.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I dated a girl who had like a date right
- 40:40Speaker 4: above her right here on her chest date.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yeah, she had some chest tat.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you know i'd be dating the hood sometimes.
- 40:50Speaker 1: But anyway, I was like, yo, yeah, what was the date?
- 40:52Speaker 4: It was the date of like her her and her
- 40:55Speaker 4: X is like anniversary, same thing.
- 40:58Speaker 3: What?
- 40:58Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 40:59Speaker 1: I was like just the date.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and I had a heart and roses and
- 41:03Speaker 4: all this stuff. And I didn't stay with her long. Yeah,
- 41:08Speaker 4: just a plain date.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Yeah, heart I've had. I've seen, you know, some women
- 41:13Speaker 1: who have like we know, somebody who has the name
- 41:16Speaker 1: of an ex who passed away.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Get that removed to No, they've passed away.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying, so you know, now that's selfish. You
- 41:26Speaker 1: expect someone who's got a memorial to their Uh no,
- 41:31Speaker 1: I get that. But I know you really if you
- 41:33Speaker 1: saw that you were dated girl and who you're wrong.
- 41:36Speaker 1: If I saw somebody with a tattoo honoring their dead, okay,
- 41:40Speaker 1: maybe I would not ask scenario. Okay, maybe wouldn't even
- 41:43Speaker 1: care about the Roman numerals.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Really I think you would.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yes, we know you, you're the.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Same person who says, oh, she never had an X
- 41:55Speaker 3: before me. I want to feel like she's never you know,
- 41:59Speaker 3: talk to.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Any else before that told me whatever. Billy would overanalyze that.
- 42:03Speaker 1: You know, he would. I would not just pretend it
- 42:06Speaker 1: was for a super Bowl. She was God, you would not.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wouldn't. It wouldn't bother me. It would
- 42:16Speaker 1: best with you you liing, No, you're overreacting. You just
- 42:20Speaker 1: you're you knowing that.
- 42:21Speaker 3: The girl that you're with was that committed to someone
- 42:23Speaker 3: before you because she tattooed on our body.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It wouldn't bother me. I'd like, fine, that's okay, girl, Yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 3: I really like you in long sleeves.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah now okay, yeah girl, you real rock that turtleneck tonight.
- 42:38Speaker 1: It wouldn't. It would bother me. Me be a little bit, okay.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I would never say get it removed. We can't date.
- 42:45Speaker 3: That's pretty extreme.
- 42:46Speaker 1: That's he just wouldn't talk to her no more. I
- 42:49Speaker 1: don't know. I can't. I'd have to be in a situation. Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 1: can do we have a verdict?
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy is guilty of being in no regrets Ryan.
- 43:01Speaker 3: He's guilty for not telling her about the tattoo. You
- 43:04Speaker 3: know this came up. She's also guilty for pausing the
- 43:08Speaker 3: relationship because of this. That is so extreme.
- 43:11Speaker 1: He's a controlling Cassie.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit, and he's guilty.
- 43:14Speaker 1: He's an anniversary Andy. He is guilty of binga and
- 43:19Speaker 1: no regards Ryan.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Texas tough stories on the tents with Billy's Kid in the.
- 43:25Speaker 6: Morning only on the new Mix one O two point.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Nine O the shots go to Disney World coming up?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Will do that at eight point forty and one thousand
- 43:32Speaker 1: dollars chance at that. Next on Mixed Candislopez what you got?
- 43:36Speaker 3: Well, The FAA, FBI, and other agencies are warning people
- 43:40Speaker 3: not to operate drones around Dallas Stadium, slash At and
- 43:43Speaker 3: T Stadium during the nine World Cup matches.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Here.
- 43:47Speaker 3: The alert reminds people that the FBI is legally authorized
- 43:50Speaker 3: to use tech to detect, assess, and if needed, mitigate
- 43:54Speaker 3: unauthorized drones and restricted airspacese.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Drone guns. Have you seen those drone guns?
- 43:59Speaker 6: No?
- 44:00Speaker 1: They like mitigate.
- 44:01Speaker 3: Is that how they mitigate?
- 44:02Speaker 1: Yeah, they like shoot a gun up there, but it's
- 44:04Speaker 1: like a net whoa and they take it down.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Weird.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Yes, it's very strange, but it's kind of cool at
- 44:10Speaker 1: the same time, and they even sometimes use thermal energy
- 44:13Speaker 1: to like get next to it, okay and zap that
- 44:15Speaker 1: drone out of the air with the Yes.
- 44:17Speaker 3: That's fun, just like that. Yeah. By the way, have
- 44:20Speaker 3: you seen the glow up happening in Fort Worth right
- 44:22Speaker 3: now because of the World Cup? So they have all
- 44:24Speaker 3: these art installations, three D murals going up international flags.
- 44:28Speaker 3: They're getting ready for crowds to just you know, hang out.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Well, did you see the crowds coming in?
- 44:33Speaker 3: Yes, the line from the airport.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Yes, is huge coming in. So I mean we said,
- 44:39Speaker 1: was it really gonna be a big deal? It's gonna
- 44:40Speaker 1: be a big deal.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Fort Worth is beautiful. Yeah, I mean Fort Worth is
- 44:44Speaker 1: the most underrated city in the United States of America
- 44:47Speaker 1: for sure.
- 44:48Speaker 3: They're getting ready. They say they're also going to send
- 44:50Speaker 3: out one hundred dedicated police personnel across eight teams, and
- 44:54Speaker 3: they're also going to limit in person court proceedings during
- 44:57Speaker 3: the World Cup so that those bailiffs and deputies can
- 44:59Speaker 3: be you sign. Oh yeah, so just be prepared. It's coming, guys.
- 45:04Speaker 3: You know what else is coming? White Castle. They officially
- 45:07Speaker 3: broke ground on their new location in the Colony yesterday.
- 45:11Speaker 3: This is going to be their first location in Texas,
- 45:13Speaker 3: right there in Grandscape. I know you're stoked about it.
- 45:16Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, of course I've lived here forever, but
- 45:18Speaker 1: I grew up with White Castle in Detroit, and it's
- 45:21Speaker 1: just it's a very special place to me. Yes, it's
- 45:24Speaker 1: near and dear to my heart. I will take a
- 45:26Speaker 1: crave case and I will order. I don't know if
- 45:28Speaker 1: I've had it sober in a long time. It's one
- 45:31Speaker 1: of those foods that it's very good when you're maybe
- 45:33Speaker 1: have a couple adult beverages. Sure, it soaks up the
- 45:36Speaker 1: liquor very well, very well.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they were out there yesterday, you know, for the
- 45:41Speaker 3: groundbreaking ceremony. They were using these spatulas shape shovels and
- 45:44Speaker 3: then they did a ceremonial sprinkling of the onions on
- 45:47Speaker 3: the future grill site.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Oh good.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah, people are excited about this. It's expected to open
- 45:52Speaker 3: late fall of this year. Yes, I have. I don't
- 45:56Speaker 3: know where, Vegas.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Yes there is. Okay, it's not the same though, I
- 46:00Speaker 1: know people eat them frozen. No, it's just not. No,
- 46:03Speaker 1: you gotta have you got to have those greasy little sliders. Yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 1: in real life.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Okay, well, we can do it later this year, guys,
- 46:10Speaker 3: a new survey found that fifty four percent of pet
- 46:13Speaker 3: owners wish they could talk to their pets to find
- 46:16Speaker 3: out what they think and feel. They listed like the
- 46:19Speaker 3: top ten questions people have for their pets, So I'll
- 46:22Speaker 3: give you the top five. Number five was what's actually
- 46:26Speaker 3: happening in that head?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah, I kind of feel like I know my
- 46:29Speaker 1: dog pretty well.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and I.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Feel like I know what he's thinking okay of the time. Yeah,
- 46:36Speaker 1: I would, I might ask him that. Though.
- 46:37Speaker 3: They also wanted to know what's your favorite thing we
- 46:39Speaker 3: do together?
- 46:40Speaker 1: I would want to know that. Yeah, I kind of
- 46:42Speaker 1: know swimming?
- 46:43Speaker 3: Must that many options? Is there?
- 46:45Speaker 1: Yeah? We do a lot of stuff together. We go
- 46:47Speaker 1: to shields.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Oh okay, we.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Swim, we play catch, we go on walks, we go
- 46:51Speaker 1: on golf car rides. What do you do with your dog?
- 46:53Speaker 3: Okay? I mean we take walks, we sit and shake,
- 46:57Speaker 3: we play with his little toy. Okay, I get my
- 47:03Speaker 3: ice cream last week for his birthday.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Oh good?
- 47:06Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, he should go.
- 47:08Speaker 1: For ice cream once a week.
- 47:10Speaker 3: The other top questions were do you understand every word
- 47:13Speaker 3: I say?
- 47:14Speaker 1: I feel like my dog does Yeah.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Do you like your life? And are you happy?
- 47:18Speaker 1: I would ask him that, yeah, Like what do I
- 47:20Speaker 1: need to do for you?
- 47:21Speaker 3: Yeah? What can I do better?
- 47:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 47:23Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 47:24Speaker 3: I thought some of the interesting questions that didn't make
- 47:26Speaker 3: the top five, or which family members do you like
- 47:29Speaker 3: and dislike?
- 47:30Speaker 1: Okay? I mean I feel like every dog on her nose?
- 47:33Speaker 1: Who's the favorite in the family though?
- 47:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:35Speaker 1: You know, I like those court cases where a couple
- 47:37Speaker 1: splits up and to decide, they put the dog down
- 47:40Speaker 1: and see what runs to I love those it It
- 47:45Speaker 1: always goes to the guy.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Brewster would go to Eric for sure. I'm not
- 47:51Speaker 3: afraid to admit it. Why is that they just have
- 47:54Speaker 3: a different bond? Yeah, yeah they do. It's okay, Brewster,
- 47:57Speaker 3: I love you? Yeah course, yeah, all right. I'm Kandaslopez.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Those are your Texas stop stories. Oh that's a hot tage.
- 48:07Speaker 6: Let us know what you think.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Here's today's hot takee how to take the Day?
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm mixed one or two point nine bill at a
- 48:12Speaker 1: kid candas Slow Paz producer poo. First of all, chance
- 48:15Speaker 1: to go to Disney World coming up next? We got that.
- 48:16Speaker 1: We do it on the forties, pretty much every hour,
- 48:18Speaker 1: all day. Now, the hot take today is very important
- 48:22Speaker 1: to me, very important to everyone because it affects to
- 48:25Speaker 1: me everybody's lives. Yeah, the MAVs moving up north to
- 48:29Speaker 1: the old Valley View Mall, it's weird right off six
- 48:33Speaker 1: thirty five. That was announced yesterday. Then in less than
- 48:37Speaker 1: twenty four hours, the Stars announced that they're trying to
- 48:40Speaker 1: get to Plano to go to the old Willow Bend.
- 48:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Both major franchises coming up north leave an American Airlines
- 48:49Speaker 1: center to turn into a spirit Halloween store.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Saw that meme yesterday?
- 48:53Speaker 1: Isn't that funny? What do we think? How do you feel?
- 48:58Speaker 1: Candice slow Pez? Your take?
- 49:00Speaker 6: Well?
- 49:00Speaker 3: Easy does it? I live south of six thirty five,
- 49:03Speaker 3: so I don't like it.
- 49:04Speaker 1: You don't like it because you live south, right, I
- 49:06Speaker 1: don't like it.
- 49:07Speaker 3: I love downtown. I've said this before. I love downtown
- 49:10Speaker 3: Dallas being the hub of sports. I love people traveling
- 49:13Speaker 3: into our city downtown to experience that and see all
- 49:18Speaker 3: of these teams play.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Okay, see to me, I love love that the MAVs
- 49:22Speaker 1: are going to where they're going. I love the idea
- 49:24Speaker 1: of the Valley View MAVs. Okay, maybe it's because I'm
- 49:27Speaker 1: selfish and I live closer. I'm in Carrollton, so I
- 49:31Speaker 1: will go to more games.
- 49:32Speaker 3: And you're okay with the traffic and all of the
- 49:34Speaker 3: things that come along.
- 49:34Speaker 1: There's going to be traffic no matter what. I mean,
- 49:37Speaker 1: look at all this stuff moving here. Samsung just moved
- 49:39Speaker 1: their headquarters. They're moving. It's a plan at and T
- 49:42Speaker 1: you have everything. The traffic is gonna suck either way. Yeah,
- 49:45Speaker 1: so is that gonna be a problem. Yes, but there's
- 49:47Speaker 1: a that's a problem downtown to me. Yeah, so it
- 49:50Speaker 1: doesn't matter so American Airlines. When I go downtown, it's
- 49:52Speaker 1: just the biggest problem to me.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I just feel like we expect it downtown.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I expect it everywhere.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Are people in neighborhoods like right around here feel well?
- 50:00Speaker 1: That's that's the big question is how is it going
- 50:03Speaker 1: to affect everybody else? The MAVs. I love that. I
- 50:07Speaker 1: love that it's still in Dallas. Technically, yes, it's very close,
- 50:11Speaker 1: but it's now the stars. I live super close to
- 50:15Speaker 1: Willow Bend walking distance, I'm not sure, I mean not walking,
- 50:20Speaker 1: but not sure. If I love that selfishly, I kind
- 50:25Speaker 1: of like it. But then on the same side. I'm like,
- 50:27Speaker 1: the only way to get there is the toll way.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Right, The toy is not that big.
- 50:31Speaker 1: It's when you think about it, it's really not. It's
- 50:34Speaker 1: not that big. That intersection is always a mess as
- 50:37Speaker 1: it is, so people coming from other places.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah, weren't we just complaining not we, but people about
- 50:44Speaker 3: the HGB that was proposed right there near Valley View Mall.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know Plano is going to approve it
- 50:49Speaker 1: because I mean we're talking so much money is going
- 50:51Speaker 1: to come into the city. Yeah that you know, they're
- 50:53Speaker 1: talking about a billion dollars stadium. They're going to build
- 50:56Speaker 1: it the old Willowband. But see why I love it though,
- 50:59Speaker 1: is because yes, it creates a ton of jobs. It
- 51:02Speaker 1: creates money. And you know, as Stars must have done
- 51:06Speaker 1: research on this and said, well, a lot of the
- 51:09Speaker 1: people want it up here. It's not that they would
- 51:11Speaker 1: just move everything just because Yeah, it's a major organization.
- 51:15Speaker 1: So to me it makes sense. Also, when they build
- 51:17Speaker 1: these new stadiums, they're building them differently. They're building these
- 51:21Speaker 1: arenas differently with entertainment built in, right, that's what it
- 51:24Speaker 1: needs to sustain.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I agree with you. I mean the upside
- 51:28Speaker 3: for me is that I feel like, because of the
- 51:30Speaker 3: relationship between the Stars and the MAVs and how that's
- 51:33Speaker 3: been over the last couple of years, I feel like
- 51:35Speaker 3: this is going to become a competition between the two teams.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Who's going to build the best entertainment district and venue
- 51:40Speaker 3: and that's where you win as fans.
- 51:42Speaker 1: That's true, But like what, Yeah, you're right, there's gonna
- 51:45Speaker 1: be and you're to have two arenas this close to
- 51:48Speaker 1: each other. Oh far, that's going to beat you? Like it? Yes,
- 51:52Speaker 1: I love it. You don't live anywhere near that. I mean,
- 51:55Speaker 1: will have been was struggling, Oh.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Man, I mean something needed to happen.
- 52:00Speaker 1: But they we're going to do some either way. They're
- 52:02Speaker 1: going to do like a shop's legacy there and now
- 52:04Speaker 1: they're going to do this. I'm sure if it gets approved,
- 52:06Speaker 1: which I'm sure it will, and I like it, I
- 52:09Speaker 1: don't know. I just for the most part, I would
- 52:12Speaker 1: say I love the MAVs being there at Old Valley View, Okay,
- 52:16Speaker 1: And I'm about seventy percent sold because I know that
- 52:19Speaker 1: if I have to leave and go somewhere though quickly
- 52:22Speaker 1: from my house, and I have to get to the
- 52:23Speaker 1: toll Way and there's a Stars game.
- 52:25Speaker 3: Yeah, nightmare, nightmare, absolute nightmare. And then like on the broadcast,
- 52:29Speaker 3: like I love when they'll show downtown Dallas and the
- 52:31Speaker 3: flags and the bridge and the ball and all these things.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Like when it's on.
- 52:34Speaker 1: TV, literally Plano is getting a reunion.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Ball, We're going to show that at and T ball.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Yes, we're getting AT and T ball. We don't.
- 52:41Speaker 3: It's not the same to me.
- 52:43Speaker 1: But look what do they do when Arlington, when the
- 52:45Speaker 1: Cowboys play, they still show downtown Dallas. Yeah, yeah they
- 52:48Speaker 1: do because guess what, that's what everybody knows. If you're
- 52:51Speaker 1: watching all across the country, nobody's saying we did to Plano.
- 52:55Speaker 1: There's a million sports teams that aren't in the city.
- 52:57Speaker 1: They're called Yeah, you know it's it's because I mean,
- 53:00Speaker 1: the Cowboys are not in Dallas.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I've We've been lucky to have the Stars and
- 53:04Speaker 3: the MAVs in downtown Dallas at the same place. I think, so, Yeah,
- 53:08Speaker 3: I love that energy down there.
- 53:09Speaker 1: How many Stars games have you went to.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Cannas since I moved back to Texas. Zero? See MAVs.
- 53:15Speaker 3: On the other hand, I've been to a.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Ton and then Cannis said, well, what about Fort Worth?
- 53:19Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 53:19Speaker 1: Fort Worth is not that far. Okay. What's the difference
- 53:24Speaker 1: to get from Fort Worth to downtown Dallas thirty five minutes? Yeah,
- 53:27Speaker 1: basically okay, So for Worth to Plano forty five minutes.
- 53:32Speaker 3: No, with this traffic, it's gonna be at least an hour.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Oh no, you take George Bush and all that. See,
- 53:38Speaker 1: it's almost the same. That's my point. It's almost the same.
- 53:41Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go ahead and say, you know what,
- 53:44Speaker 1: I know people are gonna get mad at me. Some
- 53:46Speaker 1: people I like the.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Move, Yeah, I mean it's it's fine. You can like
- 53:50Speaker 3: it or dislike it. We can't change it as an individual.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But I feel like we're all just looking for a
- 53:54Speaker 3: nostalgia and this new, fresh, modern start and splitting them
- 53:57Speaker 3: up is just the opposite. That's for me.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I was born and.
- 53:59Speaker 3: Raised and I just love sports downtown.
- 54:02Speaker 1: But we gotta have change. If that was the case,
- 54:05Speaker 1: the Magic still be playing at Reunion Arena.
- 54:06Speaker 3: I I wish, you know, the residents of Dallas were
- 54:09Speaker 3: had been a priority, you know, But with the way
- 54:12Speaker 3: downtown is, bill just it's not the case, right.
- 54:15Speaker 1: And that's why I mean Victory Plaza I love it.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I love it too, and I love downtown Dallas. Yeah,
- 54:19Speaker 1: but the restaurants struggle down there, Yeah, because the rent's
- 54:22Speaker 1: so hot. So maybe this is the reset that everybody
- 54:25Speaker 1: needs to go. Well, all right, let's figure it out.
- 54:28Speaker 1: We got to figure out what we're going to do here.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Yeah, the Poor Dirk statue, we move it. Yeah, we're
- 54:33Speaker 3: moving it.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, don't you move for I don't know. I
- 54:36Speaker 1: think that's a good question.
- 54:38Speaker 4: Put in front of the new ATB Yeah.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Bring it here. Yeah, put it next to the poop
- 54:44Speaker 1: statue fit perfectly. Nick's one O two point nine, Good morning,
- 54:50Speaker 1: Billy Kid, Candicelowpez producer poo is here. When's the last
- 54:54Speaker 1: time you have had to call nine to one one?
- 54:56Speaker 1: We were just talking about this, what was I've had
- 54:59Speaker 1: to call that one so many times in my life.
- 55:01Speaker 3: I think I've only done it once, and it was
- 55:02Speaker 3: that story I told yesterday when my husband saved that
- 55:04Speaker 3: man with his kayak.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Well that's a good reason. He saved a man's life.
- 55:09Speaker 1: I've had to call for the stupidest reasons ever, and thankfully, honestly,
- 55:13Speaker 1: like but one time I had to call because well,
- 55:15Speaker 1: there was a guy on George Bush with a ladder
- 55:18Speaker 1: trying to cross the road, about to get hit by
- 55:20Speaker 1: a car. I'm like, this is not safe. Called nine
- 55:24Speaker 1: one for that.
- 55:25Speaker 5: Then.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Oh, the last time I had to call nine one
- 55:27Speaker 1: one was because of Pooh yeah.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, when he ate the one Ship Challenge.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Shit, when he did the one Chip Challenge and started
- 55:33Speaker 1: having almost a heart attack on the floor here it
- 55:37Speaker 1: was on fire. I've never seen anybody so disheveled in
- 55:42Speaker 1: my life, mane. Yeah, it threw the one Chip Challenge
- 55:45Speaker 1: or whatever hottest ship in the world, we had him
- 55:47Speaker 1: take it. He fell on the ground immediately started panicking.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I couldn't said, he couldn't breathe. Yeah, I mean, it
- 55:56Speaker 1: was one of the worst times and scariest things we've
- 55:58Speaker 1: ever had happen. For sure, people thought it was a bit.
- 56:01Speaker 1: They're like, oh, you don't really have to call nine one. No,
- 56:04Speaker 1: we had to call nine one one, and thank god
- 56:06Speaker 1: he wasn't really dying.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because real we called nine.
- 56:09Speaker 1: One one, they remember, they put us on hold. Put
- 56:11Speaker 1: us on hold. Then she because we're in a weird
- 56:14Speaker 1: place where we're right on the border of like three
- 56:16Speaker 1: different cities were close to Addison were technically in Farmer's branch,
- 56:21Speaker 1: but were also by Dallas. We're like in a corner,
- 56:24Speaker 1: so nine to one didn't know who to call. So
- 56:27Speaker 1: finally Addison showed up because they probably saw it on
- 56:29Speaker 1: their screen and was like, we got to see what's
- 56:31Speaker 1: going on over here. Five thousand Addison firefighters in ems
- 56:36Speaker 1: came and literally just laughed at Pool on the grind.
- 56:39Speaker 4: Exactly, and nobody really even cared because all the ladies
- 56:42Speaker 4: that worked here just wanted to see the firemen.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Yeah, other one that's over here on the ground struggling.
- 56:47Speaker 3: I thought you were being dramatic.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I know.
- 56:50Speaker 4: Cannas wouldn't cook their breakfast and politely stepped over me.
- 56:55Speaker 1: I'll never forget Pooh laying in the ground, struggling, eyes watering,
- 57:00Speaker 1: sweating and canvas stepping over his half dead corpse to
- 57:06Speaker 1: heat up her beans.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Dramatic sometimes and I just thought he was playing around.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Oh no, he was almost dead, and Cannas like, scuge me,
- 57:16Speaker 1: let me just scooch on bo.
- 57:18Speaker 6: Well.
- 57:18Speaker 3: I knew it was real when I came back. And
- 57:19Speaker 3: that's when you were on hold with nine one one.
- 57:21Speaker 1: You want to hear some of the dumbest reasons. People
- 57:23Speaker 1: have called nine one one, Yeah, nine one one dispatchers
- 57:26Speaker 1: because they got a tough job. I'm not trying to
- 57:28Speaker 1: discredit them. They got a tough job. They have to
- 57:30Speaker 1: stay on the phone. Some of them are irritated sometimes
- 57:33Speaker 1: because they have to ask, you know, a lot of questions.
- 57:35Speaker 1: They got to get answers out of people who are struggling.
- 57:37Speaker 1: They got to be stern with you. But yeah and calm,
- 57:39Speaker 1: yeah and calm. Dispatchers are going over the dumbest reasons
- 57:42Speaker 1: people have called nine one one. You ready for this? One?
- 57:45Speaker 1: A woman called because she wanted an officer to come
- 57:48Speaker 1: to her home to kill a spider in the shower.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Some of those spiders are big, though.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I was gonna say, unless that's a daddy long leg.
- 57:58Speaker 1: I don't like those, Daddy Longley.
- 58:01Speaker 3: I don't like those either.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I've had my neighbor come over and kill one of those. No,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. People are gonna be like, big ig,
- 58:09Speaker 1: what about this? Oh? A Plano woman called to report
- 58:13Speaker 1: many strange large balloon shaped objects in the sky. Oh
- 58:17Speaker 1: what during the Plano balloon festival?
- 58:24Speaker 3: She just moved here or what? I do not know
- 58:26Speaker 3: that thing's going on.
- 58:27Speaker 1: I not know. It's a hot air balloon.
- 58:29Speaker 3: Right, they're beautiful.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a bunch of balloons up in scott coming again.
- 58:36Speaker 1: It's terrible. Oh. This woman called because birds were chirping
- 58:41Speaker 1: too loud and aggressively staring at her through her window.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Oh you can I know your relationship with birds.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I am somewhat scared of birds. But there's only two birds,
- 58:53Speaker 1: and I'm scared of Walmart birds and geese because they're
- 58:58Speaker 1: both pretty much satanic. That's I had. A friend had
- 59:01Speaker 1: to call nine to one because she got bit by
- 59:03Speaker 1: a goose.
- 59:04Speaker 3: Oh that's right.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Shout out to our friend Caitlyn. She got bit in
- 59:07Speaker 1: the face by a goose.
- 59:08Speaker 3: I saw the picture. It looked awful.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I didn't even know they could do that much damage. Yeah,
- 59:14Speaker 1: she almost lost a nostril goose. Yeah she tried. Well
- 59:18Speaker 1: that's what you get for trying to pet a goose.
- 59:20Speaker 1: She was tipsy. Yeah, and she's like and they had
- 59:24Speaker 1: a baby goose behind it.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Don't mess with mama.
- 59:27Speaker 1: No, Mama struck out, just like struck at her face.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I got cobra. I would do our geese venomous. Okay,
- 59:36Speaker 1: this guy man called. Oh. Man, man called nine one
- 59:41Speaker 1: one after drug dealers stole his money. Oh my, what
- 59:48Speaker 1: are you doing right? You wouldn't believe this. I'm trying
- 59:52Speaker 1: to buy drugs over here and this guy just stole
- 59:54Speaker 1: my money. Okay this Oh this woman called for an
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: ingrown TOENAILO. Wow, yeah, I mean they can be dangerous.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: They're painful for sure.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I've never really had one on, never had one with this,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: So you got one right now? No, no, poo's call
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: nine one over an ingrown hair. Oh this one might
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: be my favorite one though. This one. Uh. Ninety six
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: year old woman called nine one one to report a
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: missing child, her sixty eight year old child who wasn't

- 1:01:03Speaker 3: On Monday, about fifty were excused, and then yesterday they

- 1:01:09Speaker 3: pull down to two hundred and fifty for this next
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: round of questioning. Today, the judge told potential jurors that
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: it was okay if they had heard about the case,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: but that they would have to set that aside. He
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: told them not to rely on stuff they may have
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: heard in the past from media about what allegedly happened.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: They also say they hope to have a jury picked
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: by today, I do know. They also told potential jurors
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: they weren't sure if this final group was going to
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: end up being sequestered. But I can't imagine they wouldn't.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: I mean, right, yeah, this case is everywhere.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: It can't be influenced, you know. I mean, it would
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: be so hard to be a questioned be away from
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: your friend's family. No tea, you know, no anything, no internet.
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: You can't.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Wow, Yeah, I can't even imagine. The trial, though, is
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: expected to go from nine am to six pm every
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: weekday and on Saturdays for about two weeks. They're saying
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: it could be over by June twelfth, So I'll keep
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: you posted. Weather changes today, warm and humid before more
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: storm chances tonight. We're gonna get up close to ninety degrees,
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: but much cooler this morning than it has been. Yeah,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: so that's what news.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Yeah seventy three when I left the house, it's been
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: better than getting hailed on like I did yesterday.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I know, I can't believe went out in your golf.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Cart in a stommy. I didn't want to take my
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: car out to go play basketball and go to the gym.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: So I'm like, oh, let me take the golf cart
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: just because I'd rather get that hailed on then instead,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I just got hailed on.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Yeah, get held damage on your legs, your arms.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I got enough damage on the spoty Hey guys.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Part to no for Saurante was just named one of
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: the best pizzerias in the country for the sixth year

- 1:02:43Speaker 3: this list, ranked eighteenth in the country, so they have
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: locations in downtown Dallas and Richardson. They're consistently ranked in

- 1:03:02Speaker 3: not the Richardson one. But yeah. This group is based
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: at Italy. They send out anonymous regional inspectors to kind
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: of survey different pizza restaurants.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: You get that job?
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. That's a great gig.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I mean, imagine if you're just your jobs be a

- 1:03:27Speaker 3: hosting the Tony Awards this Sunday at Radio City Music Hall.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: She says her daughter, Willow, approved her decision to take
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: on this hosting gig. She said when she was asked,
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: it wasn't an immediate yes, but she wanted to actually
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: get permission from our daughter first because this is Willow's lane.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: She said, she really tries to stay out of her
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: daughter's lane. You know, her daughter's fifteen will o'heart. She
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: dreams of being on Broadway and I just love if
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: you know, as a parent, what do you have to
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: ask your kid for permission for?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's sweet. Yeah. I think it is kind of
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: cool that, you know, because Pink's always in the spotlight.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: She's like, I don't want to do this and take
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: my daughter's thunder away. This is her thing, so cool
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: way of including her. I can't believe her daughter's already fifteen.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I know, I know she's a star.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: I think she's gonna end up on Broadway at some point.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Really yeah, but Pink says, you know, she's working on
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: plenty of acrobatics for this show. The opening number is
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: going to have one hundred and seventy people on stage.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: She says, you know, it's this goofy, over the top
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: number that will all make sense on Sunday when the
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Tony Awards happen. I'm Kanda Slowpez. Those are your Texas
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: top stories on Mix one oh two point nine.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I can't imagine watching the Tony Awards right. If people
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: watch it.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Well, it's gonna be beautiful, that opening part.
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: For sure.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I would rather watch Pooh Naked Plain pickleball Oh than
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: the Tony Awards this year. I would rather watch Pooh
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Naked doing anything wo than the Tony Awards.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: Hey, come on?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Cool? Okay, maybe not, but still.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: This is Dirty Little Secret.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Mix one two point nine a chance for the Disney World.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Coming up next, it's Baby the Kid Candi Slow Pens
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: producer Pooh your secrets anytime you want share them? Okay?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what kind of secret it is. I
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: always telling people it will be the judge if it's
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: crazy or not. Yeah, I mean there's sometimes I don't
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: put secrets on. A lot of people ask me that too.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: They're like, do you put every dirty Little secret on?
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: No?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Right, because some are illegal. Yeah, and I don't want
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to be sued. Some are actually too intense for me.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, where I'm like, I don't want to put
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: this on. It just gives me an ekey feeling. I
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: don't like cheating secrets that much. It's just we don't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: get a lot of them tho, because I think people
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: know I'm not gonna put them on. It just feels
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: gross to me.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Yeah, there's enough of that going around online.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but if you got to, I'll put on a
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: lot of stuff that is questionable.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: Though.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, I'm not acting too good for
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a weird secret. So bring them anytime you want. An
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: eight three to three, seven, eight to seven, one O
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: two nine, you have one? What's up?
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a confession to make, and if my
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: family hears this, I'm definitely denied everything. But two months ago,
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: I broke my arm right and everybody thinks I did
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: it like mountain biking, and you know, I told him
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: I was out riding this intense trail, I hit gravel,
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: flew over the handle handlebars, like whole dramatic story. Dang,
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: and my mom thinks I'm like extreme sports guy. Now
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: my girlfriend is like telling everybody you know, I'm an adventurous anyway,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: It's like, so.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: You did not You didn't break your arm mountain biking?
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: Oh god, No, So I broke it riding a mechanical
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: bull trying to impress a bachelorette party.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: How does that does that happen? I mean mechanical, not
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: that dangerous.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: No, but those.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: Me and my buddy, like, I'm gonna blame this on him.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: But we went out, you know, Friday night. This is
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: like a while back, and a group of girls was
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: having their bachelor party and they were loud and hyping
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: each other up, and one of them is joking that like,
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: no guy can actually stay on that. This mechanical bullos
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: there like for longer than ten seconds. So apparently my
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: ego heard that and was like, oh yeah, So like
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: I hop on it, and I'm like, you know, thinking
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: I'm a cowboy from Yellowstone, I'm yelling a girl, I'm
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: talking trash. I'm doing a little one hand thing, you
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: know anyway.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: Oh god, not the one hand, the.
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: One hand.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: I actually had it going pretty good, like I'm sure right,
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: everybody's cheering me on, and then like the operator cranked
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: that thing to like some crazy mode like and I
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: swear this dude is like taking it personally, and the
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: bull just starts spinning like it's trying to launch me,
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: and I don't know, my hand got like duck weird
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: on the rope when I got thrown off and I
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: hit the ground and immediately just like heard like this
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: nasty pop in my.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Oh I hate that. Okay, it was bad.
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: I knew it was bad, you know. I said to myself,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: this is bad, but all the girls are watching, so
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: I just jump up. I was like I'm fine. I
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: was like even did the fake laugh like haha, meant
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: to do that, playing it off Meanwhile, my arm is
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: like starting to throb, so like fast forward an hour,
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: I'm in the er. It's a fractured arm.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: Dang.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Okay, So nobody knows the truth except well the friend
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: that's there obviously saw what happened.
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: I guess right, my buddy's the only one knows. Everyone
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: thinks like I heard cycling through like rugged terrain, like
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: some outdoorsement, and actually it was tequila and this bowl.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: You don't want to say where this happened or.
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: No, no, And before you guys brush me to our
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: just like I might actually sue this place because I'm
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: telling you that operator was seriously agro.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: So how are you going to assume when that's the
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: whole point.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: I've seen something though before, and I'm like, y'all got
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: to turn this thing down.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: This guy is not well, you realize what a mechanical
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: bully is. Ok it's the whole point is it? To
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: throw you off.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Mechanical I I've seen people hang off the side of
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: those things for dear life, like give up at some point.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Well that okay, that's fair, but you you're trying to
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: hang on for too long things like this happened. I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: guess I mean it's kind of you know what. I
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: don't know if I've ever written a mechanical bull. Oh,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: one time I did Tipsy at Cowboys Red River, and
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I stayed on for a good three seconds, right, maybe then, and.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: Then I was all, I don't like to watch people
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: on those. You just feel bad. Yeah, watching people struggle
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: like that.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of weird unless you're in public. Like,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: it's kind of hot when a girl does.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: It, Okay, they don't ever turn it up full, but.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: No, it's like, oh, look at me, I'm having fun,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I'm sexy, I'm ridding the bull. I got a cowboy
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: hat on. Yeah, exactly. But when the guy does it,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: it's like.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: You're not going to win.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: You're not winning. Those operators are dudes anyway, so they
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: just try to Yeah they're going to launch us off.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Yeah sure, so I feel your pain, sir, Well you
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: know what, your secret is safe with us. Hopefully your
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: arm gets better and let's not do that again.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: Oh I will not be okay, thank god.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, how long did you stay on anyway?
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: I mean three point seven seconds?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: There go okay, and Pooh realized in Cannas, I mean
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: actually realized that that's a new ick for you.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, big ick. You're losing a fight?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Is you know?
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Why shn't you lose a fight? Is a big isch.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: So a man on a mechanical bowl we got to
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: put on our X list. Yeah, somebody else, did you
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: know what a new itch is for her? She said,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I took my boyfriend bowling and it was the biggest ick.
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: Oh.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: I mean it's hard to look cool bowling.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: She said. A man bowling is an instant ick for me.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta agree. Really Yeah, it's just the motion
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: and it's just something about I mean what the form
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: of bowling is not attractive? Okay, And I'm speaking from
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: someone who was like going to be a professional bowler,
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: I thought when I was a kid.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: So it's not the shoes, well it can be yeah,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: all the motion.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: It's the motion. Yeah, it's the steps, It's the release
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: of the whole thing.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Is just is it the way they stand with their
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: booty out before mixed one O two point nine. We're
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: about to get out of here. Billy the Kid, Candice
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Loanpez producer poo, have a great day, whatever you do,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: thank you for listening. I'm thinking about doing something a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: little bit crazy today. Okay, there's a new trend that
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I am obsessed with online. I don't know why. It's
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: not just online, but I don't know if you've seen this,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: but have you seen this trend of people selling food
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: out of their house on Facebook Marketplace?
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: Out of their house? Yes, I've seen people with like
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: flower stand or like a bread stand or something.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Cinnamon rolls.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: That's a girl with cinnamon Rosne cinnamon rolls.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: One girl. Now there's a girl in Mesquite who's doing
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: seafood boils and selling the big bag. I know it
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: sounds seafood. I know it sounds crazy. And if you
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: told me a month ago, she told me a month ago, Billy,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you're gonna want to go buy some random person's house
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: on Facebook marketplace and get food, I'd be like, you're crazy.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: But now there's so many people doing it. And this
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: guy reviews. All he does is reviews food off Facebook marketplace.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: You're kidding And he gets so many views online and
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I want to go try it.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: Okay, where do we go?
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I don't know. I forget the girl's name, but it's
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a seafood boil and you just go to her house.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: Seafood though, it's like Center rules. I'm down for yer.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: If you saw this seafood boil and she gives you
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: a bag, she gives you all the fixings, she gives
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: you utensils, wipes everything. It comes in a big bag
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: with like you know, I mean, it looks so good.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And this guy who reviews food from people's houses, yeah,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: says it was incredible. Give it like a nine out
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: of ten.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Okay, does it have to be cooked or is it raw?
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: Like the meal you bought the other day?
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: It's cool?
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, we got check.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Rover. If I want raw seafood or anywhere else? Would
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you do this though?
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: Yeah, might do it if it was in my neighborhood
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: seafood Yeah, well no, that's seafood food.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Would you do it? I don't know about seafood. She's
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: only got three cats. I'm out. No, you wouldn't do it. No,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: you're doing it by yourself. You're gonna try it. You
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: gotta find this trip. Maybe I'll try and find you.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Look then and see if there's any close to me.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Yeah, there's some people that do like it, all different
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: kinds of food. So I think I'm gonna try that.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I'll have to review it and let you know if
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I show up tomorrow. If I don't show up tomorrow,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you'll know why care. Billy's got that hand to virus Friday,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the Hanna Civic virus. She said, wait till Friday. Please
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: die over the weekend, Billy, if you don't mind, better
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: for my schedule, all right, we'll see later. Have a
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: good day. Bye.
