- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. All right.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Ryan's Rose is on the way. We're going to pay
- 0:12Speaker 1: your bills here. Ever wonder why it could be very
- 0:16Speaker 1: dangerous at rush hour in the morning or in the evening? Well,
- 0:19Speaker 1: because a lot of cars are out there. A lot
- 0:20Speaker 1: of people are distracted. But did you know that one
- 0:24Speaker 1: rush hour is more dangerous than the other? I'm talking
- 0:26Speaker 1: about a.m.
- 0:27Speaker 3: P.m.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Is the morning rush hour more dangerous or the p.m.
- 0:30Speaker 1: rush hour more dangerous? I don't know. I'll tell you.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Okay.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Before seven, I'll do that. And a quote of the day.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Let's see. How did we sleep last night, Cicely? I
- 0:42Speaker 1: had weird dreams. You did?
- 0:45Speaker 5: I did.
- 0:45Speaker 4: And so I was kind of like in and out
- 0:47Speaker 4: of sleep. So it wasn't the greatest sleep. Well, I
- 0:49Speaker 4: can look it up because I got this ring that
- 0:51Speaker 4: tells me.
- 0:51Speaker 1: And you know what?
- 0:52Speaker 4: You and like a few other people have this ring.
- 0:54Speaker 4: And it's like, it's kind of like. I feel left
- 0:57Speaker 4: out when everyone's like, oh, what was your rating last night?
- 0:59Speaker 1: What was your rating? Let me just read you mine
- 1:01Speaker 1: in real time. I haven't seen this yet.
- 1:03Speaker 6: This feels bad.
- 1:04Speaker 1: First, it says 64 is my number.
- 1:07Speaker 6: Not good.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And then it says tossing and turning. Looks like you
- 1:09Speaker 1: slept restlessly last night, but don't worry. Take a moment
- 1:12Speaker 1: to calm yourself this morning before going to work. Do
- 1:14Speaker 1: you like having this ring and knowing this? Well, the
- 1:18Speaker 1: news gets worse. I don't know. I slept only five
- 1:21Speaker 1: hours and 43 minutes. Oh, that's not great. I was
- 1:25Speaker 1: in that bed. I was in there for seven hours
- 1:27Speaker 1: and 17 minutes. What were you doing, bro? What are
- 1:29Speaker 1: the two hours where you weren't sleeping? Well, I was alone. Records, mom,
- 1:34Speaker 1: you're listening. Oh, not great. I don't know if you
- 1:38Speaker 1: want this thing or not. I was in there for
- 1:39Speaker 1: seven and a half hours. I got five 43. It's
- 1:41Speaker 1: not great.
- 1:42Speaker 4: We were at the I heart festival, um, whatever weekend
- 1:45Speaker 4: that was. And there was so many people, we were
- 1:47Speaker 4: all sitting around and like three of them all had
- 1:49Speaker 4: their rings and they were all sharing their stats.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And I was like, It's good. This says to me,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you're not ready for the day. Your readiness score is fair,
- 1:59Speaker 1: not great. Yeah, and then like now what? You have
- 2:00Speaker 1: to be at work. You know, at the Iron Festival,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I lost this thing.
- 2:04Speaker 6: No, you lost the charger.
- 2:06Speaker 1: No, I lost the ring. How'd you lose it? Well,
- 2:08Speaker 1: where was it then? I thought it was at the
- 2:10Speaker 1: brunch we all went to because I was shaking a
- 2:11Speaker 1: bunch of hands. I thought, oh, it must have slipped
- 2:13Speaker 1: off into somebody's hand. You think somebody like took the
- 2:16Speaker 1: ring off of you? I thought so. And then it
- 2:19Speaker 1: turns out it was in my bath towel. Wow. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 1: glad you found that. Well, because I took a bath
- 2:26Speaker 1: because at the hotel, they had these rose petal sauces
- 2:29Speaker 1: and stuff for the bath. So I took a dip
- 2:31Speaker 1: and I put in all the secret sauces they have
- 2:33Speaker 1: by the bathtub.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Also, let's not leave our towels on the floor.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm in a hotel. Of course, I'm going to leave
- 2:38Speaker 1: them on the floor. I'm going to throw them down.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: That's what you want to do. Once they're dirty. That's
- 2:44Speaker 1: how they know they're dirty. Otherwise, you hang it up
- 2:47Speaker 1: if you're going to reuse it again.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So it's a cue. You didn't know that?
- 2:51Speaker 5: I always hang up my towels no matter where I am.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Even if they're dirty?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 6: And then if I'm leaving my room and I know
- 2:56Speaker 6: they're going to come clean, I put it on the floor.
- 2:59Speaker 6: Right by the door.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's what we do too.
- 3:01Speaker 3: By the door?
- 3:01Speaker 6: Yeah, by the door.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You take it out of the bathroom? Yeah. That's almost
- 3:05Speaker 1: too pushy. That is weird. That's too pushy. That's like, hey,
- 3:08Speaker 1: just clean this. Yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 6: You have towels all over your floor.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I was frolicking in rose petals. It was great, but
- 3:15Speaker 1: I lost my ring. Found it. Anyway, here we go.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Flo Rida. Hello, it's Kiss FM. Ruby doesn't know what
- 3:20Speaker 1: her friends do for jobs, and I think we need
- 3:22Speaker 1: to talk about this. Actually, there was a long time
- 3:24Speaker 1: where Sisney didn't know what her husband did. Yeah. She
- 3:28Speaker 1: just figured it out, I think, not too long ago,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but she's not specific still. Director of Finance. Whatever that means.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Why are we like this? Because you don't care. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: do care. It's not about caring. That's so mean. No,
- 3:42Speaker 1: not in general. No, I don't mean it bad. You
- 3:45Speaker 1: guys are so quick to judge. I don't even know
- 3:47Speaker 1: why I come in on some days. Well, because we
- 3:51Speaker 1: got to come in. It's our job. I know, but
- 3:54Speaker 1: sometimes I just want to sit in another room because
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was saying maybe you don't care. Like it doesn't
- 4:00Speaker 1: matter what they do. It's not a big deal what
- 4:02Speaker 1: they do. Oh, in a good way. Yeah, because we
- 4:05Speaker 1: will say, hi, nice to meet you. What do you
- 4:07Speaker 1: do for a living? That's annoying. So you don't care.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's true. Well, if I got to get a word
- 4:12Speaker 1: in here. So Ruby, the fact you don't know what
- 4:16Speaker 1: your friends do, do you have any idea what they do?
- 4:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I had this realization, like even friends that I've
- 4:20Speaker 2: had since elementary school, I'm like, I kind of know
- 4:23Speaker 2: what they do. Like, I know she's a SLP, but
- 4:25Speaker 2: I don't really know what her day to day is like.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And then I also realized a lot of people know
- 4:30Speaker 2: I work in radio, but they don't know what my
- 4:32Speaker 2: day-to-day is like, right?
- 4:33Speaker 1: What is it like? Tell us, Ruby. We're all going
- 4:38Speaker 1: to get exposed now. It's not about me right now.
- 4:44Speaker 2: But it was just interesting.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, why do we do this?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Like so many friends that I just don't really know
- 4:48Speaker 2: what they do for work.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I'm the same way, but I actually literally sat down
- 4:52Speaker 4: and asked them. And I was like, hey, I really
- 4:55Speaker 4: don't know what you do for work. And then she's like, oh,
- 4:58Speaker 4: I work in HR.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Ruby, by the way, I have to tell people what
- 5:02Speaker 1: I do all the time. Michaela, at the IR Radio
- 5:04Speaker 1: Music Festival, was that security guy not having it? Like
- 5:08Speaker 1: he did not, was not letting me come backstage wanting
- 5:11Speaker 1: to know what I did.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I was like, he's hosting the show. But he didn't care.
- 5:16Speaker 1: He didn't care. He said, the guy says, I can't
- 5:18Speaker 1: go back here. Where's your credential?
- 5:19Speaker 6: Yeah, you got to have your badge on.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Well, he said, can't go back here. I said, no,
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm hosting this show. He said, is that what you do?
- 5:23Speaker 1: What do you do? I said, I work for the
- 5:25Speaker 1: iHeartRadio company. And I'm hosting the thing on the stage
- 5:30Speaker 1: out there. And he's like, I need a credential. No,
- 5:32Speaker 1: he actually said, I recognize you.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I can't remember what he said, but I think he said, yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 4: he recognized you, but I had your credential.
- 5:38Speaker 6: So I showed him.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, he's not lying. This is his credential.
- 5:41Speaker 1: He goes, I recognize you, but you need to be
- 5:43Speaker 1: wearing your credential. And Michaela had it around her neck.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Well, because they don't want us going on stage with
- 5:48Speaker 4: the credentials and all that.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Yeah, you're not supposed to take pictures with them.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So, Ruby, we have to explain what we do all
- 5:53Speaker 1: the time.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But I understand. It's not because it doesn't make them different.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It doesn't change your point of view for them. Michaela's
- 6:00Speaker 1: friends want to have a PowerPoint party to explain their jobs.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They want to get together and go into all the detail.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That's too much.
- 6:06Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Coming up next, Not Scary Farm tickets here.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Kiss. It's where we are.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's what we do. Good morning. Thanks for being here.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That's what we do for a living. iHeartRadio, anywhere, anytime.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Streaming at the podcast on demand. Right now, it's live
- 6:17Speaker 1: through the speaker. So, Tanya, what are your hobbies?
- 6:22Speaker 6: I don't have any.
- 6:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You don't have to scream.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 1: We're here to help. I realized it.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Remember when we were talking about that Hailey Bieber story
- 6:29Speaker 5: and they were asking her questions and she was like,
- 6:32Speaker 5: i don't have a hobby and i was like i
- 6:33Speaker 5: don't have a hobby either and.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Then people were like annoyed by that right yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 5: And then i was watching my favorite show earl meets
- 6:40Speaker 5: world and ashton my new hero.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Also younger sister the younger sister.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Of alex she also doesn't have a hobby and she
- 6:47Speaker 5: was like i'm hobby maxing so she's like trying different
- 6:50Speaker 5: things i was like i want a hobby max.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Too look at you trying to be like hayley bieber
- 6:54Speaker 1: and ashton earl Nudged right in between them. So hobby maxing,
- 7:01Speaker 1: you're trying out different hobbies. What's on the list?
- 7:03Speaker 5: So I'm going to do, I'm going to take like
- 7:05Speaker 5: a pottery class and then I'm also going to try
- 7:08Speaker 5: maybe riding a motorcycle.
- 7:10Speaker 1: A motorcycle. Have you talked to your family about a motorcycle?
- 7:14Speaker 6: Not like on any busy streets or anything like that.
- 7:17Speaker 1: What does it, accidents don't know busy. I mean, I
- 7:20Speaker 1: took a Vespa a couple of times. It's still dangerous.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I know.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So I don't take it anymore. I've never rode one
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the little bird scooters. I've never even done that.
- 7:30Speaker 8: You have not?
- 7:31Speaker 3: Never.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh, those are fun.
- 7:33Speaker 4: But that's not a hobby.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I don't think either of those suit me. A pottery?
- 7:39Speaker 6: Knowing how to do pottery?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that seems like a lot. You've got to go somewhere.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Hobbies need to be also, you've got to be able
- 7:45Speaker 1: to do them. Like at home? I like hobbies that
- 7:48Speaker 1: you can just launch into.
- 7:49Speaker 6: I'm also trying needlepoint.
- 7:52Speaker 1: That sounds fun. I mean, the motorcycle sounds the most fun,
- 7:56Speaker 1: but it's too dangerous for you.
- 7:57Speaker 5: I love this.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It's so cute and protective.
- 7:59Speaker 6: That's so cute and protective of you.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but are you clumsy or not?
- 8:03Speaker 5: Not really.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Not particularly.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Then it's still going to be difficult. I just worry.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I don't want to worry about you two. Cisney, don't
- 8:12Speaker 1: get into motorcycles. Not for me. I just want a hobby.
- 8:16Speaker 6: I want something that, instead of like, Watching TV.
- 8:19Speaker 1: But you can't want a hobby. You can't want it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It has to just like happen naturally. Yeah, it has
- 8:23Speaker 1: to be a passion, a love of yours. Like, what
- 8:25Speaker 1: do you like?
- 8:26Speaker 6: How do I know what I like unless I haven't
- 8:28Speaker 6: tried it?
- 8:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Well, get back to us on pottery. I'll go take
- 8:34Speaker 1: the pottery class with you. That sounds fun.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:36Speaker 6: And needlepoint?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Baking, needlepoint, jigsaw puzzling, whatever it is you're going to do. Mahjong? Mahjong,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I'm into that. You need other people for that. You
- 8:45Speaker 1: need at least four.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah, like I have things that I can play with
- 8:48Speaker 5: other people, but I want something I can do on
- 8:49Speaker 5: my own.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Stamp collecting? I did that as a kid. It's not exciting.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 1: But it's a hobby. At least you could fill out
- 9:01Speaker 1: the money that people ask you. Pokemon cards? You could
- 9:03Speaker 1: have a hobby.
- 9:04Speaker 3: All right.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Which is safer, morning or afternoon rush hour? One is
- 9:10Speaker 1: twice as safe, I'll tell you next. It's Kiss FM.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So if you're driving this morning, what do you think
- 9:15Speaker 1: is safer, morning rush hour or afternoon rush hour?
- 9:17Speaker 3: Sissany?
- 9:18Speaker 4: I would guess that late at night or like the
- 9:22Speaker 4: afternoon is probably a little bit more dangerous.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Morning rush hour is morning rush hour. Can I just
- 9:31Speaker 1: get a word? Mark morning rush hour is twice as safe.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:40Speaker 1: As afternoon. So afternoon is worse because you're tired and
- 9:43Speaker 1: you already worked a full day. Yep, that plus your shopping,
- 9:48Speaker 1: you're picking up kids, you're running errands. There's just a
- 9:51Speaker 1: lot more on your plate as opposed to after coffee,
- 9:53Speaker 1: rushing to work. More singular. Makes sense. You're more focused
- 9:57Speaker 1: in the morning. Today's quote, worrying is a metaphor. the
- 10:00Speaker 1: wrong future on purpose. Wow. Don't worry.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Wow.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Imagining the wrong future on purpose. If you think about
- 10:10Speaker 1: it that way, it boils it down, doesn't it? You're
- 10:12Speaker 1: on Kiss FM. SZA, after 7 o'clock, we sent Ronnie
- 10:15Speaker 1: out to Norwalk with free gas, and we got Orion's
- 10:18Speaker 1: Roses coming up. CISNY with the headlines first. KISS FM
- 10:21Speaker 1: headlines with CISNY.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Well, coastal cities, including Long Beach, are preparing for elevated surf,
- 10:27Speaker 4: high tides, and potential coastal flooding from Hurricane Polo, with
- 10:31Speaker 4: peak high tides near 7 feet today and tomorrow. Tomorrow night,
- 10:35Speaker 4: lane and ramp closures in both directions of the 605
- 10:39Speaker 4: will resume tonight between Santa Fe Springs and Baldwin Park.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Plans are in the works to link the L.A. River
- 10:47Speaker 4: bike path gap in downtown L.A. between Elysian Valley and
- 10:51Speaker 4: the city of Vernon, hopefully before the Olympics in 2028.
- 10:55Speaker 4: And Taylor Swift received the first ever artist director honors
- 10:59Speaker 4: last night at the VMAs and became the most awarded
- 11:02Speaker 4: artist in MTV VMA history with 33 awards.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. Ryan's Roses coming up 740. He admitted
- 11:11Speaker 1: to cheating, but she's not sure she believes the reason.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So she still doesn't trust him, even though he fessed up.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That's the call we make. 740. Ronnie Henry.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 11:22Speaker 1: In Norwalk this morning.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yep. Giving people some free gas. I care. You guys not.
- 11:30Speaker 3: There is a tractor at the gas station.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Why don't you give the tractor driver some free gas?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Well, I could, but.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Is John Deere?
- 11:42Speaker 3: No, I don't even know what kind of brand it is.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Let me see. Let me get a better view. I
- 11:48Speaker 3: think he's inside. No one's in the tractor.
- 11:50Speaker 1: What kind of tractor is it? Jeannie, can you jump
- 11:53Speaker 1: up in there? No, we can't get in there.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You want me to get in trouble?
- 11:56Speaker 1: I mean, it'd be fun.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I think you need a special license for that.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Maybe. Is that big, thick tires taller than you are?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. It's kind of cool.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Well, maybe you meet the person who's driving that after,
- 12:11Speaker 1: but right now, Who can you pump up?
- 12:14Speaker 3: All right. So there was a boy. He just pulled in.
- 12:16Speaker 3: And his car is my favorite color, orange. It's a
- 12:18Speaker 3: nice Toyota.
- 12:20Speaker 1: When you say a boy, is this an adult or
- 12:22Speaker 1: a child?
- 12:25Speaker 3: He's right here in front of me. How old are you? Sorry. Oh,
- 12:28Speaker 3: he's 21. He's an adult. Fairly, yeah.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm just asking you a random question. My name
- 12:34Speaker 3: is Ronnie. I'm with Kiss FM. We would love to
- 12:36Speaker 3: fill up your gas tank this morning. I have Ryan
- 12:38Speaker 3: Seacrest on the phone. Do you want to speak to him? Yes. Okay, perfect.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Hi, hello.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Hey, how are you? It's Ryan Seacrest on Kiss FM.
- 12:45Speaker 3: How are you? Hi, nice to meet you. I'm doing good.
- 12:48Speaker 3: And yourself? Great. Thanks, bro.
- 12:49Speaker 1: What's your name?
- 12:51Speaker 3: My name is Alex.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Alex. Well, good news. That guy there next to you, Ronnie,
- 12:55Speaker 1: works for us at Kiss. You probably see the Kiss
- 12:57Speaker 1: vehicle somewhere around just for proof and authenticity. But we're
- 13:01Speaker 1: going to pump up your tank with free gas. Pump
- 13:04Speaker 1: it up.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much. I appreciate that.
- 13:07Speaker 3: You got it. Thank you so much.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's fantastic. just random. I mean, in case you're
- 13:11Speaker 1: wondering how this happened to me, we're just going around
- 13:13Speaker 1: to different Southern California cities and pumping random people's gas.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Are you in college?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Um, no, not currently.
- 13:22Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 13:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 13:27Speaker 3: I'm a sales associate.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Oh, cool. What do you sell? Let's give him a plug.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Uh, I sell wireless, uh, at a mobile company. Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Does it have three letters or one? How many letters
- 13:43Speaker 1: in the wireless company's name? Six. Bad signal.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Six.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Bad signal. Is that Verizon? No, it's seven. Oh, it is. Oh,
- 13:55Speaker 1: that was a fun game. You could play Guess the
- 13:57Speaker 1: Letters to Wireless Companies and do well.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Oh, apologies. It was seven. Yeah, you're right.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Well, ironically, I think your phone dropped for that part. Well,
- 14:06Speaker 1: it's Ronnie's phone. Oh, technically it's Ronnie's and we're probably on,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I don't know what we're on.
- 14:11Speaker 3: All right.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Well, thank you very much. Good luck, Alex, with everything.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Go sell some wireless 5G. And Ronnie, thank you.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Thank you so much. I appreciate you guys.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Appreciate you, bro.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Ronnie.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Hello.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You're doing great.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I'm back.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Is the tractor driver back?
- 14:30Speaker 3: Oh, the tractor is gone. We're on the phone too
- 14:33Speaker 3: long now. Oh, wow.
- 14:34Speaker 1: That's a high-speed tractor.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah i'm like oh i just look no but i
- 14:39Speaker 3: you know i just call people that i'm like oh
- 14:40Speaker 3: like this boy this girl but no.
- 14:42Speaker 1: He's a grown man he's 21 okay i understand i'm
- 14:47Speaker 1: getting to know your vibe well what guess what we'll
- 14:48Speaker 1: get a chance to do it again we'll have a
- 14:50Speaker 1: reprise after eight o'clock later okay all right okay byron
- 14:54Speaker 1: it's kiss fm free gas norwalk amelia's on the line
- 14:58Speaker 1: it's kiss let's get into this let's try and help
- 14:59Speaker 1: her out and then we're getting into ryan's roses first
- 15:03Speaker 1: Amelia Huntington Beach. So, Amelia, your friend only posts your
- 15:09Speaker 1: nights out to close friends on Instagram. What's going on here?
- 15:11Speaker 1: What's the issue?
- 15:13Speaker 9: Yeah, I need to know if I'm being too sensitive
- 15:16Speaker 9: about something my friend does on Instagram. Whenever we go
- 15:20Speaker 9: out together, dinners, bars, concerts, whatever, she only posts pictures
- 15:28Speaker 9: to her close friend's story. She never puts us on
- 15:32Speaker 9: her regular story. At first, I didn't think anything of it,
- 15:36Speaker 9: but then I noticed she'll post other friends on her
- 15:39Speaker 9: main story all the time. Same kind of nights out,
- 15:42Speaker 9: same kind of pictures, and they're getting posted for everyone
- 15:46Speaker 9: to see. It's starting to make me wonder if she's
- 15:50Speaker 9: embarrassed of me or doesn't want certain people to know
- 15:54Speaker 9: she's hanging out with me. Do I ask her why
- 15:58Speaker 9: she only puts me on close friends or am I
- 16:01Speaker 9: reading way too much into her Instagram?
- 16:03Speaker 1: So, Amelia, a famous quote pops into my mind when
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think about this. And listen carefully. It's not a
- 16:08Speaker 1: long quote, but I think it's going to shed some light.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Worrying is imagining the wrong future on purpose. I wouldn't
- 16:18Speaker 1: worry about this. Why give it all of this thought
- 16:23Speaker 1: and work yourself up over it? Who cares? She cares.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But why care?
- 16:30Speaker 6: I would feel the same way.
- 16:31Speaker 5: If you have a friend and they're posting all their
- 16:34Speaker 5: other friends to their main page, but only you on
- 16:36Speaker 5: their close friends, what does that mean?
- 16:38Speaker 1: I don't mind it. I don't either.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Worrying is imagining the wrong future on purpose. But there's
- 16:45Speaker 1: no future. You need to listen.
- 16:48Speaker 5: No, the quote doesn't make sense in this specific scenario.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Actually, it's applied directly to it. It doesn't make sense
- 16:54Speaker 1: at all. Well, you need to replay this on the
- 16:56Speaker 1: iHeartRadio podcast later. Amelia, I think that's it. I wouldn't
- 17:02Speaker 1: stress so much about it. There are a lot of
- 17:04Speaker 1: other things in life that deserve your attention. I don't
- 17:06Speaker 1: think this is one of them.
- 17:07Speaker 4: I think it's a benefit. Honestly, when I post close friends,
- 17:10Speaker 4: that's only a certain amount of people that get to
- 17:11Speaker 4: see those pictures and videos.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I'm like, that's a privilege to be my close friends.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I wish you good luck on this. Good luck on this.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Thank you very much for reaching out to Kiss FM. Kiss,
- 17:22Speaker 1: time for Ryan's Roses. Here we go. My husband admitted
- 17:24Speaker 1: to me that he slept with his ex-wife and that
- 17:29Speaker 1: he was telling me because she has been blackmailing him
- 17:32Speaker 1: and he was tired of her holding it over his head.
- 17:35Speaker 1: But I'm not sure he's being completely truthful. I want
- 17:38Speaker 1: to send the roses to his wife to get the reaction. Okay,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I need to think about that for a second. Lisa
- 17:42Speaker 1: and Tarzana, what makes you think He's not being truthful
- 17:46Speaker 1: about this reason about the blackmailing.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:52Speaker 8: So here's what I think is happening. I think those
- 17:57Speaker 8: two are having an affair and she wants to tell
- 18:02Speaker 8: me about it because she wants them to get back together.
- 18:07Speaker 8: He doesn't want her to because he wants to keep
- 18:11Speaker 8: both of the relationships alive.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Why?
- 18:17Speaker 1: He wants to see both of you? He wants to
- 18:18Speaker 1: keep yours active and that one?
- 18:20Speaker 8: That's what I think.
- 18:22Speaker 1: What kind of a guy is he then?
- 18:26Speaker 8: This is what I'm trying to find out, and I
- 18:28Speaker 8: can't make any decisions as far as moving on with
- 18:31Speaker 8: my life and what to do until I know all
- 18:33Speaker 8: the information.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I don't blame you. If you think he's capable of this, though,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I don't think I would move forward at all, regardless
- 18:40Speaker 1: of what we find out here. I know.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I know.
- 18:43Speaker 3: He's got an inkling.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Of ability to pull that kind of a thing off.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I am out. Yeah, I know.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I know.
- 18:50Speaker 8: So, yes, you know exactly where I'm at.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I think you just want to catch him and we'll
- 18:55Speaker 1: get into it next to kiss. 2.7 Kiss FM. Time
- 18:59Speaker 1: for the call. Ryan's roses. So Lisa thinks that her
- 19:03Speaker 1: husband is trying to maintain a relationship with his ex-wife
- 19:07Speaker 1: and with her. He admits he cheated on her with
- 19:11Speaker 1: his ex. But he said he's obviously stopped and he's
- 19:15Speaker 1: only telling her because she, the ex, is blackmailing him.
- 19:18Speaker 1: She thinks that's not the case, that he wants to
- 19:21Speaker 1: have both relationships be active and play both of them
- 19:25Speaker 1: at the same time. So, Lisa, you want to send her,
- 19:30Speaker 1: his ex-wife, the roses, right?
- 19:33Speaker 9: Yes.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And what are you hoping to find out by doing that?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Let's walk this through.
- 19:37Speaker 8: I think that if we sent him the flowers.
- 19:42Speaker 8: He would just send them right to me and everything
- 19:45Speaker 8: would be all innocent and it would just be something
- 19:47Speaker 8: really nice. And so, so.
- 19:50Speaker 3: No.
- 19:50Speaker 8: Also, he knows about Ryan's roses. So if we send
- 19:54Speaker 8: them to her, her reaction is going to tell me
- 19:58Speaker 8: what we need to know.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Okay. That's what we'll do. Sisney will call her and
- 20:01Speaker 1: offer her the roses. I need you to say, Ryan,
- 20:03Speaker 1: you have my permission to call and then her name.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Ryan, you have my permission to call and Her name is.
- 20:12Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 20:14Speaker 8: Casey.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:16Speaker 1: We're going to call the ex-wife. See if we can
- 20:20Speaker 1: find out.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Hello?
- 20:24Speaker 1: Hi, is this Kristen?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Kristen?
- 20:35Speaker 7: Yes, hi, who is this?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Noelle. I'm calling from Valley Flowers.
- 20:39Speaker 4: We actually have a delivery of a dozen roses, and
- 20:42Speaker 4: I just needed to confirm that.
- 20:44Speaker 1: You'll be home to receive these.
- 20:48Speaker 10: Roses?
- 20:49Speaker 7: Yes.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Are you Kristen?
- 20:51Speaker 7: Yeah, I am. That's nice.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:57Speaker 7: I'll be home in this afternoon, but can I ask
- 21:01Speaker 7: who they're from?
- 21:02Speaker 3: Sure.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It looks like they are from Casey.
- 21:08Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh. Well, it's about time. I'm sorry? Oh, nothing. Wow.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Okay, so you're happy.
- 21:19Speaker 7: I'm getting roses?
- 21:20Speaker 1: This is a good thing. You want these flowers.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:25Speaker 7: I'm so excited.
- 21:26Speaker 9: So nice.
- 21:27Speaker 7: If it means what I think it means.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Well, is this your husband or boyfriend?
- 21:33Speaker 7: Well, it's actually my ex-husband, but we're working on that,
- 21:36Speaker 7: and this is a step in the right direction.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Wow.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Kristen, your voice is being broadcast on the radio. My
- 21:47Speaker 1: name is Ryan. I have Lisa, Casey's wife, on the phone.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I think we heard you revealed quite a bit about
- 21:56Speaker 1: the circumstances here. Why are you so excited to get
- 21:59Speaker 1: roses from Lisa's husband, Casey?
- 22:03Speaker 7: Honestly, I didn't say anything. I was just excited for
- 22:05Speaker 7: the roses, and I said we're just working stuff out.
- 22:08Speaker 1: You just did.
- 22:13Speaker 8: You just admitted it.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Not really.
- 22:17Speaker 7: I just said we're working things out.
- 22:20Speaker 8: How long has this been going on?
- 22:22Speaker 7: Just ask Casey.
- 22:25Speaker 8: I'm asking you.
- 22:26Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 22:29Speaker 3: How long?
- 22:29Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Months.
- 22:32Speaker 4: Months?
- 22:33Speaker 7: Yeah, Casey didn't want you to know.
- 22:35Speaker 6: I knew it.
- 22:37Speaker 8: I knew it. I knew you were trying to get
- 22:38Speaker 8: him back. That's why you moved here.
- 22:40Speaker 7: Kristen, a question.
- 22:43Speaker 1: How did you think this was going to play out? Like,
- 22:45Speaker 1: what did you think was going to happen in all
- 22:46Speaker 1: this while he's married to Lisa and here you go
- 22:48Speaker 1: trying to win him back? So what is your expectation?
- 22:52Speaker 7: Well, why didn't she just call me? Why is she
- 22:54Speaker 7: talking on the radio?
- 22:56Speaker 8: Well, I don't know.
- 22:58Speaker 3: You have questions. Yeah, I did.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I did.
- 23:01Speaker 8: Did you sleep with my husband? That's the question I
- 23:04Speaker 8: have for you.
- 23:07Speaker 7: I think you already know that answer.
- 23:08Speaker 8: All right.
- 23:12Speaker 3: You know what?
- 23:12Speaker 7: I don't even know what he saw in you to
- 23:14Speaker 7: begin with. No, don't take that deep breath.
- 23:18Speaker 3: You know what?
- 23:19Speaker 7: You were just a young piece of candy that he
- 23:21Speaker 7: couldn't resist, and it's fine. But I'm glad that it's
- 23:24Speaker 7: all out in the open now, and now I don't
- 23:25Speaker 7: even have to worry about it.
- 23:27Speaker 8: What the hell does all of this even mean? What
- 23:31Speaker 8: the hell?
- 23:33Speaker 1: All right, we're going to let you go. No, no, no, no, no.
- 23:38Speaker 7: She's so dramatic. This is all dramatic.
- 23:41Speaker 8: You know what?
- 23:42Speaker 7: You trapped him by getting pregnant. He never even wanted
- 23:45Speaker 7: to marry you anyway. You just wanted to stay home,
- 23:49Speaker 7: quit your job, and have him support you. That's all
- 23:51Speaker 7: you saw in him.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Was that Kristen saying that?
- 23:55Speaker 5: Yes.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I can't tell anybody's voice. I know. Okay, so Kristen
- 23:59Speaker 1: said that to Lisa. Lisa, why'd she say that to you?
- 24:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 24:06Speaker 7: That wasn't the case at all.
- 24:08Speaker 8: She thinks that I'm she thinks that he got with
- 24:10Speaker 8: me because I got pregnant.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Well, guess who he wants now? Were you getting called
- 24:16Speaker 7: for the roses?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Well, we're going to. Why don't you call him? Both
- 24:20Speaker 1: of you. OK, we need to go and exit this conversation.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Good luck. I can't. I can't.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I was getting dark.
- 24:33Speaker 1: A couple of things here. The deep breath was Sissany.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It was. It wasn't him. That was Sissany's deep breath.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Let's kiss. On air with Ryan Seacrest. All right, before
- 24:50Speaker 1: we do anything else, Ronnie has got free gas this morning.
- 24:53Speaker 1: He's been out in different places all over Southern California.
- 24:57Speaker 1: He's doing a great job.
- 24:59Speaker 3: And we would love to pay for your gas. And
- 25:01Speaker 3: he's already able to cancel. Oh, I'm so sorry.
- 25:05Speaker 1: No. Who's canceling what? I'm so into it.
- 25:08Speaker 12: So I went up to this man because I wanted
- 25:11Speaker 12: him to cancel so we could pay for his gas.
- 25:13Speaker 3: But he said he's good. He wants to pass it on.
- 25:15Speaker 3: So I'm away for this lady right here.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But that's what made him a man, not a boy.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm curious because last time he was a boy who
- 25:21Speaker 1: was a man.
- 25:22Speaker 3: Well, because now now you made me feel like I
- 25:24Speaker 3: shouldn't call people boy. But, you know, I call myself
- 25:26Speaker 3: like a boy because I'm young in terms.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Call me boy, not man. Yeah, you can call me girl.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I will call you guys boy and girl. There's a
- 25:36Speaker 3: lady right here. Hi, ma'am. I'm with Kiss FM. We
- 25:42Speaker 3: would love to fill up your gas tank. I have
- 25:44Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest here on the phone. He wants to speak
- 25:46Speaker 3: to you. Ryan Seacrest. Here you go.
- 25:50Speaker 8: Hello.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Hi. Hi.
- 25:54Speaker 7: You made my day today.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Well, we got up this morning wanting to make your
- 25:58Speaker 1: day because your name is?
- 26:01Speaker 3: Lupe.
- 26:02Speaker 7: Lupe Diaz.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Lupe is Ryan Seacrest here on Kiss FM.
- 26:06Speaker 10: How are you?
- 26:06Speaker 7: Maria Diaz.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Maria.
- 26:09Speaker 11: Not yet.
- 26:11Speaker 3: It's not reading.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Wait, what's your name?
- 26:17Speaker 3: Hello? Hello?
- 26:20Speaker 1: She hung up on us. She doesn't know that we're
- 26:23Speaker 1: instrumental in this process. She hung up. Ronnie. I think
- 26:26Speaker 1: there's an issue with the phone. What? Did he not
- 26:29Speaker 1: charge it, Ronnie? Oh, maybe it's muted. Can you hear us?
- 26:34Speaker 1: He doesn't know. Unmute the phone. Lupe or Maria has
- 26:37Speaker 1: it on mute, but doesn't know. And Ronnie can't help
- 26:40Speaker 1: because he thinks we're talking to her. What do we
- 26:43Speaker 1: do now? We give her the free gas.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 26:45Speaker 1: See, it dropped. No, something happened with the phone. Well,
- 26:48Speaker 1: who's got the number to Ronnie's cell? Because we're giving
- 26:52Speaker 1: a free gas to these guys there. Well, then dial
- 26:55Speaker 1: it up. I mean, I'm over here just trying to
- 26:56Speaker 1: make things happen. Yeah. They're dialing. Dial, dial.
- 27:03Speaker 12: Yeah, it's busy.
- 27:04Speaker 1: All right. Well, let's just assume he's going to work
- 27:07Speaker 1: it out. Yes. And she gets her free gas. You
- 27:10Speaker 1: know what? You got to charge his phone, guys. You
- 27:12Speaker 1: got to charge his phone for him.
- 27:14Speaker 4: That's a lot to ask on a Monday for Ronnie.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Who knows what kind of weekend he had.
- 27:18Speaker 1: The guy can't even wake up on his own. We
- 27:21Speaker 1: got to charge his phone. His mom has to call
- 27:23Speaker 1: him every morning. We got to charge his phone. It's
- 27:25Speaker 1: a team effort. Anyway, Lupe Maria Diaz, you are getting
- 27:29Speaker 1: the free gas this morning. Yes, you are. Yay. And
- 27:31Speaker 1: we'll pay a bill next at KISS. Good Monday morning.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I'm very excited for this. I love this. It's a spontaneity.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's a great prize. It's somebody who's been waiting to
- 27:43Speaker 1: find out if they are the grand prize winner. Last week,
- 27:46Speaker 1: Sisney Tanya... We had everybody out there send us talkbacks
- 27:50Speaker 1: about why they had to be in person to see
- 27:54Speaker 1: Harry Styles at the Rose Bowl. And we got, I
- 27:57Speaker 1: don't know how many, tens of thousands. Tens of thousands.
- 28:01Speaker 1: It's insanity. Fantastic. But I love hearing why people feel
- 28:07Speaker 1: they've got to be there. It's got to be them.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So let me play this back. This is Layla in
- 28:13Speaker 1: Anaheim and her talkback.
- 28:15Speaker 9: I have to be at Harry Styles. I have been
- 28:18Speaker 9: the biggest fan since I was a little girl. And
- 28:21Speaker 9: I missed his last tour because I was working and
- 28:23Speaker 9: I was doing school.
- 28:25Speaker 11: But I am ready now.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm so ready.
- 28:27Speaker 3: And I'm so ready.
- 28:28Speaker 1: To dance and have fun and just be there. And oh,
- 28:30Speaker 1: my God, it's crazy. And it's going to get crazier
- 28:34Speaker 1: because I'm calling her right now to tell her she
- 28:37Speaker 1: is the winner.
- 28:38Speaker 8: Hi, if you record your name and reason for calling,
- 28:41Speaker 8: I'll see if this person is available.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Oh, she's fancy.
- 28:44Speaker 3: No, dying up.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Just record your name.
- 28:47Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Hi, it's Ryan Seacrest. I'm calling for good news. I
- 28:51Speaker 1: think I did it again. No, I don't. He dropped
- 28:54Speaker 1: the line. Guys, my friends do this to me. I
- 28:57Speaker 1: don't know what it is. I've called a few of
- 28:58Speaker 1: these numbers like that. What is this? I've never heard it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: People set it up like this and then they'll screen
- 29:03Speaker 1: your car. I have no caller ID, so for every
- 29:06Speaker 1: one of my friends, I have to do it. Hi.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Good morning. Is this Layla?
- 29:11Speaker 3: Hi, good morning.
- 29:12Speaker 8: Yes, this is Layla.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Well, Leila, it's Ryan Seacrest, Sisney, Tanya, all of us
- 29:17Speaker 1: at Kiss FM.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Hi, Leila.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Hello.
- 29:20Speaker 1: What's up, Leila?
- 29:20Speaker 8: How are you guys doing?
- 29:22Speaker 1: What are you doing? What are you up to?
- 29:24Speaker 9: I'm getting ready for work right now.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Well, tell me about work.
- 29:29Speaker 9: Oh, I work at a law firm right now.
- 29:32Speaker 3: It was my post-grad job.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Right on. So are you a paralegal?
- 29:38Speaker 9: I'm about to take my paralegal studies.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 29:41Speaker 1: My dad was a lawyer, so I know all the terms.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And guess what? It's a lot of hours of work.
- 29:49Speaker 9: Yeah, I've been seeing that, but I'm very ready. I
- 29:52Speaker 9: love what I do.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Aw. And we do too. And we love hearing from
- 29:57Speaker 1: people who love Harry Styles. I got so many thousands
- 30:01Speaker 1: of voice notes. And then I heard yours. And I thought,
- 30:05Speaker 1: this is really random and great because we did pick
- 30:10Speaker 1: it at random. But I listened to it and I thought,
- 30:13Speaker 1: this is it. We're calling her today. She went to
- 30:16Speaker 1: Chapman University, used to work at Starbucks, downtown Disney. I mean,
- 30:21Speaker 1: these are people. By the way, we found that info
- 30:24Speaker 1: on your LinkedIn. Please don't think we're that crazy. No, no,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I did not. Someone gave it to me in a note.
- 30:31Speaker 1: So I thought it was proprietary.
- 30:35Speaker 9: I was like, wait, I don't remember saying that in
- 30:37Speaker 9: my book.
- 30:39Speaker 4: We have a lot of interns and a lot of
- 30:41Speaker 4: producers here to find stuff.
- 30:42Speaker 1: A lot of team, a lot of team. Congratulations, Layla
- 30:46Speaker 1: in Anaheim. You are going to see Harry Styles at
- 30:49Speaker 1: the Rose Bowl.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Yay!
- 30:51Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Thank you.
- 30:54Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 30:56Speaker 1: It's going to be so awesome, too. I mean, you've
- 30:58Speaker 1: heard about the show.
- 30:59Speaker 8: Yes, I'm so excited.
- 31:02Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh.
- 31:03Speaker 3: This is crazy.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Now, who will you take? I mean, it's a coveted ticket.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 9: Honestly, I think I'm going to take my mom for
- 31:12Speaker 9: this one. She is such a big fan.
- 31:15Speaker 1: My mom is, too. I love that. My mom is
- 31:18Speaker 1: the same. She has a crush on him.
- 31:19Speaker 6: Don't we all?
- 31:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 9: She's always been like the supporter with me during this
- 31:28Speaker 9: whole thing.
- 31:28Speaker 2: So I love that you got.
- 31:29Speaker 1: That great relationship with your mom. That's so cool.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: All right. We're going to let you go. Congratulations. Tell
- 31:37Speaker 1: everybody at work, Layla, our grand prize, Harry Styles, winner.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Thank you so much guys. You work at Adda Beck & Associates?
- 31:53Speaker 9: Yeah, Adda Beck & Co.
- 31:54Speaker 3: yeah.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Now I'm on your LinkedIn. Okay, have a great day.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Thanks so much.
- 32:01Speaker 8: Out of my headshot look, guys. I just took it.
- 32:03Speaker 4: We love it. Cute curls.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I was going to say, lighting, angle, the curl, excellent
- 32:09Speaker 1: for an almost paralegal. Adorable.
- 32:12Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 32:13Speaker 1: This saved my whole day. We love you. We love you.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Bye.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Love you, guys.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh, that's so fun. I know. More, more, more.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I like that.
- 32:22Speaker 1: We do talkbacks. We get to hear how much you
- 32:24Speaker 1: want to go, and then we call you back. So good.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And up next, Not Scary Farm tickets here on Kiss FM.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I was going to talk about the Rams here for
- 32:32Speaker 1: a second, but it was such a tough loss. I mean,
- 32:36Speaker 1: it really hurts because it was so close down to
- 32:39Speaker 1: the wire. Mark, you do a very good job with
- 32:42Speaker 1: a smile on your face recapping.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Thank you. 30 seconds. Go ahead.
- 32:46Speaker 11: The Denver Broncos scored their winning touchdown with 45 seconds left,
- 32:50Speaker 11: but the Rams had a shot. They still had a
- 32:51Speaker 11: timeout in 45 seconds. They went right down the field
- 32:54Speaker 11: like nothing. Two seconds left. They got it into the
- 32:57Speaker 11: end zone, but it was intercepted.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Intercepted in the end zone.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Painful.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Can you believe that? With seconds left. I still think
- 33:05Speaker 1: Sean McVay's hot.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 4: He's like, wasn't there a poll? He was like one
- 33:09Speaker 4: of the hottest coaches voted.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Oh, well, I'll make the poll here. Yeah. Guys are studs. Okay,
- 33:16Speaker 1: so that's all right. It's all right. Early in the season, guys.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Shake it off. Shake it off. Taylor Swift, the VMAs.
- 33:23Speaker 1: What a big night for her last night. Sissanine, did
- 33:26Speaker 1: you watch? Oh, I watched.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Actually, I watched it with my entire family. It was really,
- 33:30Speaker 4: really fun and enjoyable to do so. And there was
- 33:32Speaker 4: a lot of big moments. I love that Snoop Dogg
- 33:34Speaker 4: was the host. He came out saying that they asked
- 33:37Speaker 4: him to.
- 33:37Speaker 5: Host, actually.
- 33:38Speaker 4: He was like, well, is it going to be in L.A.?
- 33:40Speaker 4: And they said no. And so he turned it down
- 33:42Speaker 4: and they switched the location for him.
- 33:44Speaker 6: And then he was exhausted.
- 33:48Speaker 1: He was just in Vegas for us. He's got to
- 33:50Speaker 1: get a little rest time and then get ready for Taylor.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I mean, either that or he's just like, I need
- 33:55Speaker 1: to do it in my town in L.A. Otherwise, I'm
- 33:58Speaker 1: not going to be what he wants. Exactly.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 34:00Speaker 4: A lot of big moments last night, as you're saying,
- 34:02Speaker 4: Taylor Swift. Obviously, we'll get to her in a second.
- 34:04Speaker 4: But I thought a really wonderful moment was the George
- 34:07Speaker 4: Michael tribute. So it was with Ray somber and Teddy
- 34:11Speaker 4: swims and here's somber singing father figure.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Oh my God. This got to me. One of the greatest.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Somber doing George. Yeah.
- 34:23Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Kacey Musgraves also honored Dolly Parton. Nirvana received the Video
- 34:40Speaker 4: Vanguard Award. But Taylor Swift, as we know, had a
- 34:43Speaker 4: historic night. She won three awards, including Video of the
- 34:46Speaker 4: Year for Fate of Ophelia. And she received the first
- 34:48Speaker 4: ever MTV VMA Artist Director Honors. So that's recognizing all
- 34:53Speaker 4: the work that she's done behind the camera, directing her
- 34:56Speaker 4: own music videos that officially made her the most awarded
- 34:59Speaker 4: artist in VMA history. 33 wins, breaking her tie with
- 35:03Speaker 4: Beyonce and beating her out. And she also premiered the
- 35:06Speaker 4: video for her new song, Patient Zero, which she directed. Yeah,
- 35:11Speaker 4: and Colin Farrell starred in it, Dakota Johnson. And she
- 35:14Speaker 4: dedicated her Video of the Year Award to Dolly.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Here's that.
- 35:17Speaker 10: I want to thank and dedicate this award to one
- 35:21Speaker 10: person without whom just this wouldn't be happening. And that
- 35:26Speaker 10: person is the ultimate showgirl, Dolly Parton. Wow.
- 35:33Speaker 1: The VMAs last night.
- 35:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 1: You know, Taylor, they say, is a role model for
- 35:41Speaker 1: a lot of young people, young girls, teenagers. I think
- 35:45Speaker 1: she's a role model for me, too.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Me, though. I really. A thousand percent. I really like
- 35:52Speaker 1: I'm inspired by how she I mean, what her talent,
- 35:56Speaker 1: her drive. The way she handles herself with people. She's kind,
- 36:01Speaker 1: looks them in the eye. You just hear great things
- 36:03Speaker 1: about her. I love that.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Yeah, there's an elegance to her that she's always had
- 36:06Speaker 4: since she was 15 years old coming onto the scene.
- 36:09Speaker 1: And I get so excited to watch Travis Kelsey play
- 36:12Speaker 1: and then the shot of her up in the box.
- 36:15Speaker 1: And who she's with. Last time it was like Tom Cruise.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Of course, Tom Cruise. Of course. Drop in there. On
- 36:22Speaker 1: air with Ryan Seacrest. Ryan's roses coming up. No shortage
- 36:29Speaker 1: of Southern California problems in infidelity and in relationships here.
- 36:34Speaker 1: No shortage of people want to be on Ryan's roses.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But to shift gears, Tanya Taylor, a big last few days.
- 36:40Speaker 7: Yes.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Well, we got the encore, the four songs for The
- 36:44Speaker 5: Life of the Showgirl and Patient Zero. Everybody is kind
- 36:47Speaker 5: of honing in on that one in particular. And there
- 36:50Speaker 5: are a lot of clues as to who this song
- 36:53Speaker 5: is about. So the song details the aftermath of a
- 36:55Speaker 5: toxic relationship.
- 36:55Speaker 6: That she left.
- 36:57Speaker 5: And there are a lot of theories online about who
- 37:00Speaker 5: it's about.
- 37:02Speaker 6: I believe it's about Joe Alwyn.
- 37:03Speaker 5: So clue number one, the song You're Losing Me, which
- 37:06Speaker 5: fans believe is about Joe, also had a medical theme
- 37:08Speaker 5: like patient zero with a pulse literally in the background. Okay.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Clue number two, the song Cruel Summer, which fans believe
- 37:15Speaker 5: is about the beginning of her relationship with Joe, was
- 37:17Speaker 5: a lot of imagery of devilish guy, which she also
- 37:20Speaker 5: references in patient zero with an angelic looking devil.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Hello, Joe.
- 37:24Speaker 5: Okay. Clue number three, Entertainment Tonight did learn that Taylor
- 37:28Speaker 5: was the one that ended that relationship with Joe and
- 37:30Speaker 5: in patient zero, That is also the case with the
- 37:33Speaker 5: person that is in the song. However, after watching the
- 37:38Speaker 5: music video, I did this report before I saw the
- 37:41Speaker 5: music video. And now I feel like after seeing the
- 37:43Speaker 5: music video, I have reason to believe it's about Maddie Healy.
- 37:46Speaker 5: So now I'm all sorts of confused. But I do
- 37:50Speaker 5: want to debunk the rumor that it is about Joe Jonas.
- 37:52Speaker 5: I do not believe it is about Joe Jonas.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Okay, so we don't know. And you know what? I
- 37:58Speaker 1: think that there are elements that might be about all
- 38:01Speaker 1: of those guys because she doesn't want us to totally
- 38:04Speaker 1: figure it out, you know? Obviously. Yeah, the narrative may
- 38:09Speaker 1: take pieces from each. So it is a, what do
- 38:14Speaker 1: you call it? A poo-poo platter. Like a mosaic. Yeah,
- 38:17Speaker 1: but like three dishes, a trio. This is what she wants.
- 38:20Speaker 4: She wants us all talking about it and trying to
- 38:23Speaker 4: figure it out, thinking that we know.
- 38:25Speaker 11: I know.
- 38:26Speaker 1: To the guys, it wouldn't be totally cool, fair, I
- 38:30Speaker 1: don't know, cool, fair to have just the one guy
- 38:32Speaker 1: be deliberately decoded about that one guy, right?
- 38:36Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 38:36Speaker 1: After it's over. Yeah, why would he get his own
- 38:39Speaker 1: song after the fact? I know.
- 38:40Speaker 5: Well, that was like a lot of people were saying like,
- 38:42Speaker 5: you know, why did the song come out now?
- 38:45Speaker 6: Because she just got married.
- 38:47Speaker 5: But then Cleveland obviously is about Travis Kelsey and her
- 38:50Speaker 5: love and them.
- 38:51Speaker 1: But I think these things have happened so far in
- 38:53Speaker 1: the past. She's then closed the chapter. So it doesn't
- 38:56Speaker 1: matter to let him out now. Right, right, right.
- 38:58Speaker 6: But like these four songs that we got from her are... magic.
- 39:02Speaker 6: Just absolute magic. The button on the life of a showgirl.
- 39:06Speaker 1: That I needed.
- 39:06Speaker 4: And I'm so glad that she was at the VMAs
- 39:09Speaker 4: last night. I feel like we have not seen her. Obviously,
- 39:13Speaker 4: we didn't even see her wedding.
- 39:14Speaker 1: We haven't seen anything.
- 39:15Speaker 4: And so I'm like, we just haven't seen her on
- 39:17Speaker 4: a carpet in so long. Apparently, she shut it down.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Ronnie, you were there, right? Ronnie, did she shut it down? Yes,
- 39:25Speaker 1: she shut it down.
- 39:26Speaker 12: I was there at the VMAs, actually, uh working on
- 39:28Speaker 12: the red carpet and she was the last one to
- 39:31Speaker 12: walk like they cleared the whole thing for her it
- 39:33Speaker 12: was insane.
- 39:34Speaker 6: But didn't her team tell them to be quiet.
- 39:37Speaker 12: Well, people were obviously being quiet just out of respect
- 39:40Speaker 12: for her, but I didn't see them be like, hey, shh.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Did you get a question with her? No, she didn't
- 39:46Speaker 1: do any press. Oh, she didn't do press. She just
- 39:49Speaker 1: did pictures. Just photos. And video. But I got great
- 39:51Speaker 1: video of her. I bet, Ronnie, if you submit early
- 39:54Speaker 1: next time, it's you. It's very difficult to say no.
- 39:57Speaker 1: You could be the one representative of the one question
- 40:00Speaker 1: on the carpet. You'd be like, Taylor, one question, please.
- 40:02Speaker 12: One question for everybody. And I feel like if I
- 40:04Speaker 12: just smiled at her, she would have came over to me.
- 40:06Speaker 12: But I'm too nervous around her. She really does have
- 40:08Speaker 12: such a problem.
- 40:09Speaker 1: You know, she does. I understand how you could get
- 40:11Speaker 1: nervous around her because she's just she's she, you know.
- 40:14Speaker 1: All right, let's shift gears. Coming back, $ 1, 000 to pay
- 40:17Speaker 1: your bills. We are going to bounce out of here.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I got to tell you, tomorrow, we're back. 6.55, I'll
- 40:24Speaker 1: tell you how to tell if someone is into you
- 40:26Speaker 1: or not.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Finally.
- 40:27Speaker 1: And all this to do with their hair.
- 40:30Speaker 11: Wow.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, finally a shocking revelation. Second date update tomorrow. Sisney
- 40:34Speaker 1: will take it for another hour. Have a good one.
- 40:36Speaker 3: It's kiss.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make
- 40:40Speaker 1: sure to subscribe, and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
