  Suze: It's Easter. Happy Easter, everybody. It's also still Passover, so

  Suze: happy Passover as well. And I find it very hard

  Suze: on days like this when religion seemed to merge into one,

  Suze: to just talk about money and the lessons of money,
• 0:42
  Suze: but the truth of the matter is the lessons of
• 0:45
  Suze: money are really also the lessons of your life.

  Suze: I've always said to you that you and your money
• 0:53
  Suze: are one, and if something is going wrong with your money,
• 0:57
  Suze: it's because something's going wrong within you, just that simple.

  Suze: But I find myself being very introspective today.

  Suze: Because this world is a very, very difficult and changing place,
• 1:14
  Suze: no matter where you live. I've always said that if
• 1:20
  Suze: America sneezes, the world catches a cold.

  Suze: And in essence, that's exactly what's happening.

  Suze: There's just one theme, that I think at times like this.
• 1:35
  Suze: That every one of us really needs to firmly embrace
• 1:40
  Suze: and find a way to believe in it, and I've
• 1:44
  Suze: talked about this theme before.
• 1:46
  Suze: And the theme is you have to have faith that
• 1:51
  Suze: everything happens for the best. I know, I know.
• 1:55
  Suze: It's very difficult at times like this to believe that.
• 1:59
  Suze: How is that possible, Suze? Look at what's happening in Minneapolis.

  Suze: Look at what's happening in Iran and now in Abu
• 2:06
  Suze: Dhabi and now everywhere. Look at everything that's happening in
• 2:10
  Suze: the world. How can you say that, Suze Orman?

  Suze: Is there another choice, everybody?

  Suze: Is there really another choice, because when you lose faith,
• 2:24
  Suze: you've lost everything.
• 2:26
  Suze: Money doesn't matter. People don't matter. You don't matter.

  Suze: You become empty.
• 2:35
  Suze: And really the goal of life is to be an

  Suze: empty vessel but to be filled in my opinion, with
• 2:43
  Suze: God's grace. And yes, I believe in God so much
• 2:48
  Suze: you have no idea.

  Suze: Now I'm not asking all of you or any of
• 2:52
  Suze: you to believe in God, but I am asking you
• 2:55
  Suze: to believe in yourselves, to have faith that everything happens

  Suze: for the best and that you are a warrior and
• 3:05
  Suze: you are not going to turn your back on the battlefield.

  Suze: It is important that you always talk about or you
• 3:11
  Suze: speak the words of what you're really feeling, that you
• 3:14
  Suze: stand in your truth. You don't pretend to be happy
• 3:17
  Suze: when you're sad. You don't pretend like everything's fine and
• 3:22
  Suze: it's gonna be OK and this airy fairy stuff that
• 3:25
  Suze: so many people do when it's really not.
• 3:28
  Suze: But what you have to do is have faith in
• 3:32
  Suze: who you are and what you can do to make
• 3:36
  Suze: your life the best life possible.
• 3:40
  Suze: And the way that you do that, honest to God.
• 3:45
  Suze: It is to have your thoughts, your words, and your
• 3:49
  Suze: actions be one.

  Suze: It's not OK for you to think I'm going to
• 3:55
  Suze: be happy, to say to everybody, I'm going to be happy,
• 3:58
  Suze: and yet do absolutely nothing to make yourself happy. Your thoughts,

  Suze: your words, and your actions have got to be one.

  Suze: You have to stand in your truth, but you not
• 4:16
  Suze: only have to stand in your truth, today, you have
• 4:20
  Suze: to voice your truth.
• 4:23
  Suze: Cause I really think that one of the reasons that
• 4:26
  Suze: many of you are unhappy, you don't know what to do,
• 4:30
  Suze: whatever it may be.
• 4:32
  Suze: You don't say that what you are thinking.
• 4:36
  Suze: You don't do that which you are feeling.
• 4:40
  Suze: And therefore you have rendered yourself powerless.

  Suze: When I say have faith, everything happens for the best.

  Suze: I want you to have faith in yourself.

  Suze: I want you to take actions that are the best
• 4:58
  Suze: actions for you in your life at this point in time.

  Suze: I want you to think great thoughts. I want you
• 5:08
  Suze: to say great words. I want you to do great
• 5:13
  Suze: actions because if you don't do those three things, you
• 5:18
  Suze: have no right to complain about anything else that's going
• 5:21
  Suze: on in this world because change starts within you.
• 5:28
  Suze: And you have to see your life as a blessing.
• 5:33
  Suze: I know I've told you this story before, but I'm
• 5:36
  Suze: going to tell it to you again.
• 5:38
  Suze: Years and years and years ago now, I was sitting
• 5:42
  Suze: with a teacher.
• 5:43
  Suze: And she said to me, Suze Orman, how do you
• 5:48
  Suze: deceive yourself?
• 5:50
  Suze: And I said, well, sometimes maybe I lie, sometimes maybe
• 5:56
  Suze: I don't really tell the truth. Sometimes I'm, and everything

  Suze: I said, no matter what I said.

  Suze: She looked at me, she said, nope. Nope. Nope, that's
• 6:07
  Suze: not it.
• 6:09
  Suze: And finally she decided to put me out of my
• 6:12
  Suze: pain and she said, Suze, you deceive yourself by thinking

  Suze: that you are not perfect.
• 6:21
  Suze: I want you all to take that in for a second,
• 6:24
  Suze: because this is a universal truth that I'm now passing
• 6:28
  Suze: on to all of you.

  Suze: You're perfect regardless of the clothes you wear.
• 6:36
  Suze: The car you drive. The home you live in.
• 6:41
  Suze: Your job title, the amount of money you have in
• 6:45
  Suze: the bank.
• 6:47
  Suze: No matter what's going on in your life, you are
• 6:50
  Suze: perfect just the way you are.
• 6:54
  Suze: And can you even imagine?
• 6:57
  Suze: That if perfection is the starting point of the soul.

  Suze: What is probable within your life?

  Suze: Yeah, think about that.

  Suze: We spend so much time thinking about all the horrific

  Suze: things that are happening. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't

  Suze: take note of them.

  Suze: That you shouldn't be aware of them.

  Suze: But you can't do anything about them until you do
• 7:29
  Suze: something about yourself.

  Suze: And I've always believed that you change yourself, you have

  Suze: the ability to change the world. And when I mean change,
• 7:44
  Suze: I mean get in touch.

  Suze: With that part of you, that joy within you.
• 7:51
  Suze: That warrior within you that has a desire.
• 7:56
  Suze: To think great thoughts, say great words, and take great actions,

  Suze: cause that really, everybody, is exactly what this world needs

  Suze: on Easter,

  Suze: on Passover and on every single day of the year
• 8:15
  Suze: from now until eternity.

  Suze: Years ago, I used to give a lot of talks,

  Suze: 5,000 people, 10,000 people, 50,000 people, 100,000 people.

  Suze: But every single talk I gave. I ended it the
• 8:35
  Suze: exact same way.

  Suze: So I want to end this podcast.

  Suze: With how I used to end every single one of
• 8:46
  Suze: those talks.

  Suze: Every single one of us enters this world with two wings.

  Suze: Now I'm sitting here, and I'm literally taking my arms,

  Suze: putting my fists up to like my shoulders, and I

  Suze: have two wings that I can flap, flap along with me, everybody.

  Suze: One wing, now I'm flapping my left wing.

  Suze: One wing is the wing of grace.

  Suze: That wing is flapping 24 hours a day, 7 days

  Suze: a week from now until eternity.

  Suze: The wing that you bring to this equation.

  Suze: Is the wing of self effort.
• 9:33
  Suze: And now I am flapping my right arm along with
• 9:37
  Suze: my left arm.

  Suze: That wing, when it flaps equally as hard as the
• 9:45
  Suze: wing of grace, then you will take flight, flight into
• 9:49
  Suze: the world of unlimited possibilities where anything and everything is possible.

  Suze: But you have to believe it. You have to do it.

  Suze: And most of all you have to have faith that

  Suze: everything happens for the best.
