- 0:09Speaker 1: Advices low. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show on
- 0:16Speaker 1: your hostel Shooter. And it's Wednesday, which means our dear
- 0:18Speaker 1: friend Donnie Meacham joined us from LA. Hello Donnie, are
- 0:22Speaker 1: you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Hell lollow, It is Wednesday, my favorite day of the week.
- 0:27Speaker 2: And I just want to say so. It's really funny
- 0:29Speaker 2: because everyone thinks that l A is just summer year round, right, No,
- 0:33Speaker 2: there is.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You know it's far here. There's seasons, yes, this morning. Well,
- 0:39Speaker 1: you've got a little hoodie on today. Normally you're just
- 0:42Speaker 1: in a tank top. Cover it up. I like it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I like it. I like the seasons. I do, and
- 0:47Speaker 1: I particularly like them in New York. They're so dramatic.
- 0:50Speaker 1: The summers are so warm and the winters are so cold.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I've transitioned into my full wardrobe, lots of gloves and
- 0:57Speaker 1: scarfs and sweaters. I love us. We call them jump us.
- 1:01Speaker 1: But I love a sweater, do you I do?
- 1:03Speaker 2: I love a sweater too. And it's funny because when
- 1:05Speaker 2: I moved back here from New York City. In New
- 1:07Speaker 2: York City, you own ten thousand jack.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You have big.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Ones, small ones, thin one, long ones, pretty ones, fired ones,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and I got rid of all of them, and then
- 1:16Speaker 2: I moved back here and I was like, Sweetie, I
- 1:18Speaker 2: need a jacket, and you need a few more jackets.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You need a jacket. You need a jacket. Well, we'll
- 1:22Speaker 1: get a warm new of today, Donnie, because we've got
- 1:25Speaker 1: a lot of gossip. What time is it? My friends
- 1:27Speaker 1: and tea time? Okay, big story at the top of
- 1:30Speaker 1: the show. The friends Jennifer Aniston, Corney Cox, Lisa Kudrou,
- 1:35Speaker 1: Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer have all finally released a
- 1:40Speaker 1: statement following the tragic death of their pal Matthew Perry.
- 1:46Speaker 1: They said the following quote, we are also utterly devastated
- 1:51Speaker 1: by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just castmates.
- 1:57Speaker 1: We were a family. The statement continued, there is so
- 2:01Speaker 1: much to say, but right now we're going to take
- 2:06Speaker 1: a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. They
- 2:13Speaker 1: concluded by saying in time, we will say more as
- 2:17Speaker 1: and when we are able, but for now, our thoughts
- 2:21Speaker 1: and our love are with Mattie's family. They called him Mattie,
- 2:25Speaker 1: his friends and everyone who loved him around the world.
- 2:30Speaker 1: The message was signed off by Aniston, Cox, Caudro la
- 2:34Speaker 1: Blanc and Shwimmer. I think it's a beautiful statement. It's
- 2:39Speaker 1: a short statement, but it really does highlight how devastated
- 2:44Speaker 1: they are. My sources are telling me, darn a, they
- 2:46Speaker 1: just can't speak about this. They can't even fathom what's happened.
- 2:52Speaker 1: They were six for a long time and now they
- 2:55Speaker 1: will never be six again. Now the five. It's really
- 2:59Speaker 1: really sad. But I think I think the statement is smart,
- 3:02Speaker 1: it's compassionate. I think it's the right statement. What do
- 3:05Speaker 1: you think? Oh? Absolutely.
- 3:07Speaker 2: I think some people might not be satisfied with the statement,
- 3:10Speaker 2: thinking that it seemed a little.
- 3:12Speaker 1: You know, short or calm.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But for me it was the perfect statement, yes, because
- 3:16Speaker 2: it meant that they weren't just coming out and seeing
- 3:18Speaker 2: something to say something. What they were saying is this
- 3:22Speaker 2: is shocking to everyone, but to us especially, and we
- 3:26Speaker 2: need time to assess it before we see you.
- 3:28Speaker 1: When I'd have time, when terrible things happen, take a beat,
- 3:32Speaker 1: when anything happens in your life. I say all the
- 3:35Speaker 1: time when I get anxious, when I get nervous, I
- 3:37Speaker 1: slow down. I don't speed up. The mistake people make
- 3:41Speaker 1: is they speed up and they rush for stuff. No,
- 3:43Speaker 1: this is going to take a really long time to process,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and rather than just say something, now, take a moment.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You don't have to speak on our schedule. Just because
- 3:54Speaker 1: the public wants to hear from you doesn't mean you
- 3:57Speaker 1: have to do it. So I think putting out a
- 3:59Speaker 1: short stay. I think doing it as a group was
- 4:02Speaker 1: really smart too. Had they done it individually, they would
- 4:05Speaker 1: have all come out at different times. It wouldn't have
- 4:07Speaker 1: been coordinated. Let's be honest, the media probably would have
- 4:10Speaker 1: picked up Jennifer's statement more than the others. She's the
- 4:12Speaker 1: biggest star of the five remaining friends, and that wouldn't
- 4:16Speaker 1: have looked right. So doing it together, I think is
- 4:19Speaker 1: a really good idea. And they've got other things to
- 4:22Speaker 1: worry about at the moment, like the loss of their friend,
- 4:25Speaker 1: not their pr campaign, not their image. They don't owe
- 4:30Speaker 1: us anything, They owe each other everything. And I love
- 4:34Speaker 1: that they're being really good friends here. I'm told they've
- 4:36Speaker 1: spoken many many times since the awful, awful incident, and
- 4:41Speaker 1: this has actually brought them closer together. Let's be honest
- 4:44Speaker 1: to yah, they weren't quite as close as we wanted
- 4:47Speaker 1: them to be. They were friends, and they definitely were
- 4:50Speaker 1: more than castmates. They said that in their statement, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: they weren't best friends. The three ladies were close. We
- 4:55Speaker 1: saw Lisa, Courtney and Jennithan together all the time. In fact,
- 4:59Speaker 1: Jennifer and call they were definitely the closest. David and
- 5:03Speaker 1: matt and Matthew sort of did their own thing a
- 5:06Speaker 1: little bit. Remember that reunion they did a year ago.
- 5:09Speaker 1: They all got ten million dollars each to reunite. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: did the research at the time. That was only the
- 5:15Speaker 1: second time all six of them had been together since
- 5:18Speaker 1: they ended filming. This happens in life. When I used
- 5:22Speaker 1: to be a publicist, my office then the next office
- 5:26Speaker 1: next to me was a fabulous publicist called Susan. Every
- 5:30Speaker 1: day for like eight years. Eight years, Susan and I
- 5:33Speaker 1: would go and get tea together at four pm every day.
- 5:36Speaker 1: When we stopped working together, we lost contact. We didn't
- 5:39Speaker 1: fall out. We're still friends. We text every so often,
- 5:44Speaker 1: not that often. But this happens in life, Donna, You
- 5:47Speaker 1: must have had people that you've worked with at the
- 5:49Speaker 1: moment you thought were your best friend and now not
- 5:53Speaker 1: so much.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it happens. It's just when you work together,
- 5:57Speaker 2: it's like a family. You're there every day. You see
- 5:59Speaker 2: them every stinking day, and then you think, oh goodbye.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You know, we'll keep in touch, we'll keep in touch.
- 6:06Speaker 2: But then you realize when you don't see someone every day,
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's easy to you know, kind of lose contact. One
- 6:11Speaker 2: day goes by, no text, two days go by, and
- 6:14Speaker 2: then fre we realize it's a week, and then it's
- 6:16Speaker 2: a month, and then it's a couple months.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And it just happened. It's natural, and that's okay, that's
- 6:20Speaker 1: the key word. It is natural. Here. I've embraced the
- 6:23Speaker 1: ebbs and flows of relationships of a life, of who
- 6:27Speaker 1: comes into my life, who goes out of my life.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I tried not to have people go out in a
- 6:32Speaker 1: bad way, but the natural ebbs and flows is something
- 6:36Speaker 1: that I actually quite celebrate. There are very few people
- 6:39Speaker 1: that have been around me for a long time. A handful.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You're one of them, done it, but just a handful
- 6:45Speaker 1: of people. I try to keep my my friends close.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But there's also those work friends because of what we
- 6:50Speaker 1: do for a living, what we all do for a living,
- 6:51Speaker 1: we all meet people through our work, and when that
- 6:54Speaker 1: job stops, you realize, you know, what we had in
- 6:57Speaker 1: common was actually the job and not much else. Don't
- 7:00Speaker 1: beat yourself up about this. If you're listening the friends
- 7:02Speaker 1: a la ba la alone, do not beat yourself up
- 7:05Speaker 1: about this. You were all great friends and actually are
- 7:07Speaker 1: nicest of the day. Later on in the show is
- 7:10Speaker 1: a really lovely, lovely tribute to Jennifer and some of
- 7:14Speaker 1: the kind things that she did. Two four Matthew and
- 7:17Speaker 1: nobody else was looking normally. Here in the show, we
- 7:21Speaker 1: do our pole of the day, but I hate doing
- 7:23Speaker 1: polls when somebody is passed. I'm not going to put
- 7:26Speaker 1: someone's tragedy into a poll. No, that's not what we
- 7:30Speaker 1: do on the Naughty but Nice Show. So instead we're
- 7:32Speaker 1: gonna move on, Donnie with what are you working on?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yes, So, Matthew Perry was found underwater in a hot
- 7:41Speaker 2: tub by a bystander, as officials providing new details. So
- 7:45Speaker 2: new eerie details are coming to light following the tragic
- 7:48Speaker 2: death of the French star So. He apparently died of
- 7:51Speaker 2: a drowning incident as a California home.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Over the weekend.
- 7:54Speaker 2: He was only fifty four now, according to the La Times,
- 7:58Speaker 2: officials received a phone call reporting that he was in
- 8:01Speaker 2: a hot tub and not breathing. They ride did his
- 8:04Speaker 2: house four oh seven pm, the police department at four ten.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Now the identity of the caller has not been revealed.
- 8:12Speaker 2: The friends alone was reportedly found underwater. An adult male
- 8:15Speaker 2: patient was deceased prior to first response arrival, which meanings
- 8:20Speaker 2: once the fire department and the police and all them
- 8:22Speaker 2: got there, he was already dead, which means he had
- 8:25Speaker 2: been there for a while. The statement continued. Firefighters pulled
- 8:28Speaker 2: the victim out of the jacuzium, did a quick medical
- 8:30Speaker 2: assessment to find he was deceased. Now this is where
- 8:34Speaker 2: it gets a little convoluted, because people were like, who called?
- 8:37Speaker 2: Who was the person who called? Who was there? Was
- 8:39Speaker 2: there somebody else at the house with him? Did somebody
- 8:42Speaker 2: else walk in and find him? This is where it
- 8:44Speaker 2: all gets a little confusing. And I think, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 2: we will find out more, and I think his autopsy
- 8:49Speaker 2: once we find out, you know the results of his uh,
- 8:53Speaker 2: was it toxic?
- 8:54Speaker 1: What's it when they're toxicology reports sold that stuff. Yeah,
- 8:58Speaker 1: this is a really sad up. We're getting breaking news
- 9:01Speaker 1: now that it was actually his assistant that found him,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and he hadn't been in the water for very long,
- 9:08Speaker 1: so he was at the house with the assistant. He
- 9:11Speaker 1: sent his assistant on an errand the assistant was gone
- 9:15Speaker 1: not very long and when he came back, he couldn't
- 9:19Speaker 1: find Matthew. He walked into the garden, he saw him
- 9:22Speaker 1: in the water, and that's when he called nine one one.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And you know, it's fair to question in life, what
- 9:29Speaker 1: would have happened if he had not have sent that
- 9:32Speaker 1: assistant to run those errands. Life is made up of
- 9:37Speaker 1: coincidences of moments, and it's silly to wondering or fear
- 9:42Speaker 1: about what would have happened, because you can't go back
- 9:46Speaker 1: and change things. But it is natural to think that.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But yes, it was his assistant, his long term assistant
- 9:53Speaker 1: to a person that's been with Matthew for a really
- 9:56Speaker 1: long time. So I can't imagine what that must be
- 9:59Speaker 1: like to find the body. And then by the time
- 10:02Speaker 1: the police arrived, they declared that he was dead on
- 10:05Speaker 1: the sea and just heartbreaking. Okay, we have an update
- 10:09Speaker 1: now on Justin Timberley. Justin has fled to Mexico with
- 10:14Speaker 1: his family after Brittaney's book dropped some bombshells, so he
- 10:18Speaker 1: spotted just insane. Bye Bye bye to Los Angeles. Just
- 10:21Speaker 1: saw what I did there and head out to Mexico.
- 10:26Speaker 1: So he was spotted touching down in Cabo sam Lucas.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Very nice in Mexico, getting off a private plane. He
- 10:34Speaker 1: flies private. He was all smiles when he left the
- 10:38Speaker 1: plane to go to a golf cart. That's what rich
- 10:40Speaker 1: people do. They get off planes, they're getting golf carts.
- 10:42Speaker 1: They don't schlet their luggage through the terminal like you
- 10:45Speaker 1: and me, a security No, no, no, they don't do that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: His youngest son was in his arms, and he is
- 10:52Speaker 1: in town with his wife, Jessica Biel. They're other son Silas.
- 10:56Speaker 1: We don't know how long he's going to be there,
- 10:58Speaker 1: but I think going onway for a little bit while
- 11:01Speaker 1: all this is going on is might be a good idea.
- 11:03Speaker 1: What do you think? Oh?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Yes, it definitely. Justin needs to get away because he
- 11:08Speaker 2: just needs to turn off everything. He also turned off
- 11:10Speaker 2: his comments on Instagram, which is probably a smart decision.
- 11:14Speaker 2: It was funny because I was having a talk with
- 11:16Speaker 2: a coworker yesterday and we were talking about is there
- 11:20Speaker 2: a way Justin Timberlake comes back from this and has
- 11:23Speaker 2: a music career again, And I flat out said no,
- 11:27Speaker 2: I don't think he will ever be able to. I
- 11:29Speaker 2: think it's hard now because you just he's just not liked.
- 11:34Speaker 2: And I think even if he came out with a
- 11:36Speaker 2: good song, people are gonna be like, Eh, it's just
- 11:40Speaker 2: you can't separate the person from the music a lot
- 11:43Speaker 2: of the times. And I think this part, I think
- 11:45Speaker 2: for me, I think justin Timberlake's music career is over.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a complicated one for me because his fan
- 11:52Speaker 1: base is pretty rapid and he was already declining his
- 11:56Speaker 1: music wasn't on the radio anymore. I used to love
- 11:59Speaker 1: just Think timber but there is something about this that
- 12:01Speaker 1: really rubs me the wrong way. Now. We talked about
- 12:05Speaker 1: him running to Mexico, but I would have advised him
- 12:08Speaker 1: to at least put out a statement and not not
- 12:11Speaker 1: to say anything bad about Brittany and not to pull
- 12:15Speaker 1: her down, but rather to build her up. I would
- 12:17Speaker 1: have put out a statement literally saying that I adore Brittany,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I always will love her, and I want her to
- 12:23Speaker 1: be really happy and really successful, and that sort of statement. Hey,
- 12:27Speaker 1: what is going on with Brittany now? People are alleging
- 12:31Speaker 1: but she's shading Selena Gomez. What's that? What's that all
- 12:34Speaker 1: about it.
- 12:34Speaker 2: My goodness. People on Instagram, they will take two words
- 12:37Speaker 2: and spin a web into shady Selina Gomez. So Brittany
- 12:42Speaker 2: says that she wrote a new song. She shared on
- 12:45Speaker 2: Instagram alongside a shot from her two thousand and one
- 12:48Speaker 2: over Protected music video. She didn't give too much away,
- 12:52Speaker 2: but she suggested that the new track is called hate
- 12:55Speaker 2: You to Like Me Now. She did go on and
- 12:59Speaker 2: she says, I don't have any beef with anyone. She says,
- 13:02Speaker 2: I'm just being a narcissist in acclaimed self entitled way. However,
- 13:07Speaker 2: fans were quick to point out that these songs hate
- 13:11Speaker 2: You to Like Me is very similar to Selena Gomez's
- 13:15Speaker 2: hit break up anthem Lose You to Love Me Now.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I could kind of see where the similarities are there
- 13:23Speaker 2: now people ever think they but we forget Selena was
- 13:25Speaker 2: at Brittany's wedding, so I think these two are friends.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I'm confused where everyone thinks they're beefing. It's getting weird.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I don't think it's a I don't think it's a
- 13:35Speaker 1: dig I think the songs just have similar titles. A
- 13:37Speaker 1: lot of songs have similar titles. Hey, quickly, before we
- 13:39Speaker 1: get a break. Validy Fair has finally published that big
- 13:42Speaker 1: expos on Bravo, and get this, the Bravo executives are
- 13:47Speaker 1: actually sort of relieved because it wasn't so bad about them.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It wasn't good, but the person that came across really
- 13:54Speaker 1: badly was Ramon, a singer. So it has finally landed
- 13:58Speaker 1: like a bomb. It's a really long story, too long.
- 14:02Speaker 1: It's like eight thousand words. I had to read it
- 14:04Speaker 1: in like four parts, and I got a bit bored
- 14:06Speaker 1: with it, and I think I would have cut it
- 14:07Speaker 1: if I've been the editor, in maybe half or even less.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It was just too long, and it's sort of rambled
- 14:13Speaker 1: on a little bit instead of just getting to the highlights. However,
- 14:17Speaker 1: there is a paragraph or two about Remoon, a singer,
- 14:19Speaker 1: allegedly dropping the en bomb while she was a real
- 14:23Speaker 1: housewife of New York, and that is what really has
- 14:27Speaker 1: been picked up and has been the explosive part all
- 14:29Speaker 1: the other stuff in the story but sort of heard before.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Andy Cohen's a little shady. Bethan is a little pushy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: They drink too much. They're encouraged to say horrible things
- 14:38Speaker 1: about one another. Producers asked them to do naughty stuff.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I get it. It's all reality TV sort of nonsense
- 14:47Speaker 1: or reality that we've heard of for a very long time.
- 14:49Speaker 1: There's not that many surprises in it, although the bombshell
- 14:53Speaker 1: is Ramona and the N word, and now page six
- 14:56Speaker 1: are reporting the brother are actually quite relieved. It's all
- 15:00Speaker 1: about Ramona, it's not them.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean this, Ramona looks terrible in this. She's
- 15:07Speaker 2: coming out saying, you know, horribly racist things. And if
- 15:12Speaker 2: Bravo was smart to cut ties with Ramona, and I
- 15:14Speaker 2: think that's what is the bad part is though, I
- 15:16Speaker 2: think what the problem is though, is they didn't cut
- 15:19Speaker 2: ties with her when this stuff initially happened. Yes, yes,
- 15:22Speaker 2: that's the problem.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Oh they're naughty. There's no doubt Bravo is complicit or
- 15:26Speaker 1: guilty at worst here. But because the Ramona revelations in
- 15:30Speaker 1: this story, this Vanity Fair story, are so so so dramatic,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I think that's the takeaway, not how bad brother is. Okay,
- 15:39Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:41Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naudy but nice
- 15:45Speaker 1: and robshoot her with our dear friend Donny Meacham. Hey, Donnie,
- 15:47Speaker 1: let's get to the pole and stuff. Yesterday we talked
- 15:50Speaker 1: about Ramona. It was our lead story using the N
- 15:53Speaker 1: word while filming The Real Housewives. She's denying it. Our
- 15:57Speaker 1: question is do you believe her? Do you think she
- 15:59Speaker 1: did this? Yes or no? Eighty seven percent said she
- 16:03Speaker 1: definitely used that word. I think I'm with the majority.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's pole. Go to a
- 16:09Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or at Facebook page
- 16:13Speaker 1: Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 16:16Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for a nicest
- 16:22Speaker 1: of the day.
- 16:24Speaker 2: All the nicest of the day, which he's the nicest
- 16:26Speaker 2: a lot of the time. It's Jennifer Aniston. So Matthew
- 16:29Speaker 2: Perry actually praised Jennifer Aniston for continuing to reach out
- 16:33Speaker 2: and check on him in the year's following Friends So
- 16:37Speaker 2: last year, Perry told Diane Sawyer that Aniston remained a
- 16:40Speaker 2: constant friend throughout the time that he was ups and
- 16:43Speaker 2: downs to addiction in sobriety. She was the one that
- 16:46Speaker 2: reached out the most. You know, I'm really grateful to
- 16:49Speaker 2: her for that, he said in the interview with Jennifer Aniston.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Now that's so sweet because I am shocked though, that
- 16:58Speaker 2: it was only Jennifer reaching out to him through all
- 17:01Speaker 2: these youths, because Matthew Berry has been very open. He
- 17:03Speaker 2: was very open about his struggles with addiction in sobriety.
- 17:06Speaker 2: But you know, we all need that one friend or
- 17:08Speaker 2: somebody who's just checking in. That's just a check in,
- 17:11Speaker 2: are you okay?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah? Check in? Check in with your friends. It's a text.
- 17:16Speaker 1: It's got so easy now to communicate with people. You
- 17:18Speaker 1: don't really have to do that much effort. You can
- 17:21Speaker 1: just text somebody, and I think that's a lovely way
- 17:24Speaker 1: just to make everybody feel just a little bit special.
- 17:26Speaker 1: But I love that Jennifer is the one that was
- 17:28Speaker 1: a constant. Of all the friends on that show. There
- 17:30Speaker 1: were six in total, now there's five, But it was
- 17:34Speaker 1: jen that reached out to Matthew the most. And let's
- 17:37Speaker 1: be honest, they all, yes, they all knew his problems.
- 17:40Speaker 1: It was no secret we knew about them, so they
- 17:42Speaker 1: certainly knew too. Okay. I naughticed the day. Nordy, Nordy,
- 17:46Speaker 1: this is the most disgusting story I've read in a
- 17:48Speaker 1: long time. An ex comic on Saturday Night Live is
- 17:52Speaker 1: mocking Matthew Perry's death, So comedian Kevin Brannan, who I
- 17:57Speaker 1: believe was a writer, a former writer on this S
- 18:00Speaker 1: and else. If you don't know that name, it's because
- 18:02Speaker 1: he was behind the scenes. He wasn't a cast member
- 18:04Speaker 1: that we knew. He was a writer. So when Matthew
- 18:07Speaker 1: passed away, he put up a really ugly, ugly sentence saying,
- 18:13Speaker 1: drowned in a hot tub. Ha ha ha. Now people
- 18:17Speaker 1: called him out on this rightly, so immediately he doubled
- 18:20Speaker 1: down on it, saying, I love it when junkies die.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Just disgusting, deplorable and naughtyust of the day. Let's end
- 18:31Speaker 1: with a moment of rab Whoever is trying to bring
- 18:36Speaker 1: you down, you know who they are. Whoever's trying to
- 18:39Speaker 1: bring you down is already below you. Remember that. So
- 18:44Speaker 1: when you get a fight back, ask yourself, am I
- 18:47Speaker 1: reducing myself to their level? And the answer is yes,
- 18:50Speaker 1: you are. And if you find with that, fight away.
- 18:53Speaker 1: But if you don't want to reduce your behavior to theirs,
- 18:58Speaker 1: don't do it. I don't punch down, I only punch up.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And so when people come after me, I don't punch back.
- 19:06Speaker 1: If it's too easy a punch. No, I'm not going
- 19:08Speaker 1: to reduce myself to their level. Remember when Michelle Obama said,
- 19:11Speaker 1: when they go low, we go hi. It's something I
- 19:16Speaker 1: really try to do in my life. Donnie. Now, you
- 19:19Speaker 1: can hold a grudge and you can be me. If
- 19:21Speaker 1: somebody punches you, Donnie, do you punch back immediately?
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yes? Because I can help it. I get angry and
- 19:26Speaker 2: I'm make.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Try try it. See the next time somebody punches you,
- 19:32Speaker 1: just try to ignore them. But I promise you, I
- 19:35Speaker 1: promise you it's going to feel a little bit better
- 19:38Speaker 1: than when you punch back. Whenever I've punched back, I've
- 19:40Speaker 1: never won. I've never convinced the other person they were wrong.
- 19:43Speaker 1: All I've done is make myself more angry. Hey, that
- 19:47Speaker 1: is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
