Morning Mantra: "The cracks are where the light gets in."
Some of the posts I do are worth repeating. This one from 2021 is one of them.
The Japanese art of Kintsugi , which literally means "gold joinery", believes in putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold — it is a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections.
I love this idea of emphasizing the cracks. We are all broken at times. But this is where the light of healing can enter. By using gold to mend the cracks, it makes the vessel even stronger than it was before. So where you heal becomes a strength.
