Kohles Takes Early Lead at 3M Open | Pro Golf News
Ben Kohles is flying solo at the 3M Open after a blistering nine-under 62, capped by an eagle on the final hole—putting him two shots ahead. Scottie Scheffler, despite a solid 65 and a late surge, trails by three. Emiliano Grillo, Jackson Koivun, and Gary Woodland all shot 64, with Koivun—just turned pro in June—carding a bogey-free masterpiece. Kohles, who nearly won his first event three weeks ago, says he felt in control all day. With TPC Twin Cities delivering low scores and Kohles setting the pace, the weekend promises fireworks.
